Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, is Mojo in the morning show your Home
of War the Roses, the second date update in Dirty
and thirty and we've got to coming up here in
just a little bit.

Speaker 2 (00:08):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (00:09):
And how was this when you were on your Mexico
trip that this happened?

Speaker 3 (00:13):
I need to know. Have y'all ever seen a roach
in a restaurant? If you did, what did you do?
None of y'all have.

Speaker 4 (00:20):
I don't think I have.

Speaker 5 (00:22):
I've seen roaches before, I don't think it's ever been
in a restaurant.

Speaker 3 (00:25):
So I have seen a roach in a restaurant twice now.
Once when I was younger. It was I was out
to eat with my dad and I think it was
a Chinese restaurant. We saw a roach, we walked out,
we got there.

Speaker 1 (00:36):
Yep.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
Well, when I was in Mexico, we were at a
Michelin Star restaurant. I know it because I saw it
on the wall. They had it everywhere. It was a
gorgeous restaurant and it was like a GQ dinner, so
a very bougie dinner. I looked to my right before
dinner gets served, and there's the biggest roach on the wall.

(00:58):
And yes, yes, And I'm just staring at it, like, wait,
do I say something? Because I think this is going
to like kill the mood of the whole dinner. If
everyone sees this roach right here. Sure enough, people start
seeing it, and I hear people going.

Speaker 5 (01:12):
They got roach.

Speaker 3 (01:16):
You could see all the staff like freak out, like
oh my god, oh my god. They run over to
the wall, swat it down, end up stepping on it.
But the whole dinner as we're eating, and they're like,
I don't know if I want.

Speaker 5 (01:27):
To eat because there's one, there's a thousand exactly.

Speaker 3 (01:31):
I'm trying to understand is this more prevalent in Mexico
or why is there roaches in here?

Speaker 1 (01:35):
What would you do if you saw this in just
any restaurant, or you saw something even worse than that out,
you would you'd be done. You wouldn't eat because I
would never go back. I can't believe how many times
I'm out with people and they see a hair in
their salad and will not eat the sure really yeah,
Like if I see I guess, like a fly or
a bug or something like that, I won't eat it.

(01:58):
But if I see a hare, I'm eating it. I
have no problem with that. It's just a person's hair.
I need another. Yeah.

Speaker 5 (02:03):
Really the roaches thing, and this goes for like rats
and mice. I know every restaurant has them or has
had them at some point, but it's like, if I
don't know, I feel better. But if I can see
it now, I'm very aware and I can't get it
out of my head.

Speaker 1 (02:18):
Did you guys ever go out of New York and
if you go to New York they actually have the
ABC D range. Oh yeah, on the restaurants. I have
friends of mine that will go into be and see restaurants.
I'm like, you're going into that restaurant? I mean they
were They couldn't get an a like you know, but
if I see a.

Speaker 6 (02:34):
Roach or I see anything, I'm probably leaving. Yeah, I
wouldn't take another bite of my food. A Mojoe Live.
It's a La Cucko roach shop, right there is?

Speaker 1 (02:58):
It's roach. Who got a job? What's Oh?

Speaker 2 (03:03):
Here you go?

Speaker 1 (03:04):
Here you go?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
What are the rest? John?

Speaker 7 (03:21):
What's up?

Speaker 1 (03:21):
Ashley? How you doing good?

Speaker 2 (03:24):
How are you?

Speaker 1 (03:24):
We're doing okay? Would you have eaten still at that
restaurant that Anna was at when she saw the roach?

Speaker 8 (03:30):
No?

Speaker 2 (03:31):
Actually, I was at the Hubbati grill and cockroaches started
crawling like from the bottom of the table. I had
three kids, would we packed them up real quick and
we left and I refused to pay that bill.

Speaker 1 (03:48):
Oh my god, And they came out from underneath where
they were cooking apartment that movie? Yes, yeah, Uh, what's
going on, Lisa? What happened?

Speaker 6 (03:58):
Hi?

Speaker 8 (04:00):
Hi?

Speaker 9 (04:00):
So I used to work at Burger King when I
was a teenager in Dearborn and they had a really
bad roach problem. And uh, one day I was working
the register and a big old roach just crawling up
the wall behind me, and there was like tons of
people ordering.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
Food, and somebody saw it and they were.

Speaker 2 (04:17):
Like, oh my god, they got roaches in here.

Speaker 9 (04:19):
And so everybody's kind of like freaking out. And the
person that I was waiting on they were getting their
food and she's just like complaining and everything, and the
manager comes knocked it down, steps on it and just
goes in the back.

Speaker 8 (04:31):
I said, I said, well, you know, do you want
your money back?

Speaker 9 (04:35):
She's like, well, just give me a couple of free whoppers.

Speaker 3 (04:40):
Oh my god. Werper Junior and double Triple playing Real
Case with perfect Toppers out from this day and.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Away stop. I love that he just comes right out, amy,
what's happening?

Speaker 3 (05:03):
So?

Speaker 5 (05:03):
I used to work at a restaurant, and I will
tell you it was probably one of the cleanest restaurants
I've ever worked at.

Speaker 3 (05:08):
Yeah, but when we used to unpack the wine, broaches
always came out.

Speaker 1 (05:13):
Of the wine box.

Speaker 5 (05:17):
Wine times. So I need at this restaurant day in
and day out because it was a very clean restaurant.

Speaker 3 (05:22):
But they sometimes do just come in with the wine king.
I don't know how to explain that one.

Speaker 6 (05:28):
But yeah, you got to open the wine outside. That
is wild, though.

Speaker 8 (05:34):
We had to unpack it.

Speaker 1 (05:36):
What's up Mojo in the Morning Show? Hold on a
second here, let's go to Please don't do me a favor.
Don't mention the name of the restaurant. Just you were
hanging out at a restaurant in Mexican Town, right, yes,
all right? And what happened.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
We went there for a celebration dinner like we've always gone,
and we ordered our drinks, we ordered our food, and
I'm about midway through my taco salad and I thought
I saw a sunflower seed. My friend's like, what, I
turn it around and it is a roach living crawling
scaffolding the side of my taco show, coming out of
the knee. I'm assuming because I'm pouring hot sauce in

(06:16):
and he's like, don't drown me. He's climbing out of
the shell. I pushed it away. Yeah, I push it away,
and I'm like freaking out. I put it on the
next table where there's nobody to make sure it's not
moving around. I'm very loud, so everyone's noticing. People are
getting up and bailing out of the restaurant. I called
the management over to handle it, and they basically said

(06:39):
to me and my friend, we're sorry that we brought
it out like that. We should have taken him out before.

Speaker 2 (06:45):
We brought it.

Speaker 4 (06:47):
And then then carry it. Yeah, they pick it up.
They carry it back to the kitchen, him hanging on
to the outside of the show through the customers. Yeah,
never went back here again.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
Oh my gosh, hold on, Demetrius didn't see a roach.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
He saw a what.

Speaker 7 (07:26):
Hey, man, I've seen a huge centipee. There was eating
at a restaurant with me and my daughter and my son,
and all of a sudden, right across her plate comes
this giant speed. I'm talking at least three inches long
man and I call over staff because we immediately jump
out of our seat and the staff comes over, squishes it,
walks away and said, enjoy your food.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Oh my gosh, Rihanna, worse than a roach is.

Speaker 8 (08:03):
Oh my gosh, baby mice too. So we were at
a very well known Italian restaurant and my mom bless
her heart, she loves all the animals. She just like
one of them crawled out and we saw it on
the floor, and she took it outside. She picked it
up in a napkin, and then she went to check

(08:24):
on this thing. Her heart was broken because someone stepped
on it, and then another one. Another one comes running out,
so she took it.

Speaker 9 (08:33):
Home in a box.

Speaker 1 (08:34):
Oh my god, Oh my gosh, you only saw two
of them.

Speaker 8 (08:41):
Those are yeah, those are the only ones we saw,
and then we were.

Speaker 1 (08:59):
I tried to find it.

Speaker 5 (09:04):
Three my life.

Speaker 9 (09:07):
Three bind mice.

Speaker 3 (09:09):
See how they're doing, See how they run after the
farmers call bitches in the farming due it's not just
sounding in your life.

Speaker 5 (09:22):
At three, caught them bitches with the cardinal n.

Speaker 9 (09:26):
