Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Mojo.

Speaker 2 (00:00):
In the morning, Shannon got into a fight with her
husband Wes.

Speaker 1 (00:06):
What's up?

Speaker 3 (00:06):
He's mad at me?

Speaker 4 (00:07):
I think he's still mad at me over this, and
it has to do with my daughter. Lucy, who has
been not feeling so hot for the past two days.
Didn't go to school on Monday yesterday, called us halfway
through the day and was like, I still don't feel well, mom,
you know, can you please come get me. So she's
been our little sticky in the house, which everybody knows

(00:28):
we're all going down at this point, she's the first
one down. We're all going to follow. But she loves
cuddling in my bed, our bed, and so on Monday night,
the Lions game was on and everybody was watching the
game downstairs eating dinner, and Luke came up to me

(00:53):
and she was like, Mama, it's too loud. I just
want to go up in your bed and cuddle up
with a blanket in my pajamas and watch something of sleep.

Speaker 3 (01:00):
And I said, go for it, loose, so she went
up there.

Speaker 5 (01:04):
Well.

Speaker 4 (01:04):
Then Wes went up to take a shower and he
was not super thrilled that a sick Lucy was laying
in our bed, and he's like, that is how everybody
gets sick, is when you're like all up in everybody
else's spaces.

Speaker 3 (01:20):
And I'm like, well, what did you want me to do?

Speaker 4 (01:22):
She didn't want to be down here, she wanted it quiet,
and she wanted to be able to fall asleep, but
she wanted to watch TV in the process. And nobody
has TVs in their rooms except for me, so that's
always just what I've done.

Speaker 3 (01:33):
And he was like, yeah, that's just.

Speaker 4 (01:35):
Like not not cool. I don't want to get sick.
I can't afford to get sick right now. So it
became a conversation of is that cool to do.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Or not interesting? I'm a west you are a sick
ass girlone.

Speaker 2 (01:52):
I mean, I got the death. I got the death,
and he was sick. You wouldn't want Josiah to be
comforted in your bed. It's happened before.

Speaker 6 (02:01):
But I mean, yes, but I would try to figure
out a way to not make it happen like I
would probably.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
I don't know, it's weird you do not want to
get sick.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
But so that always say my argument.

Speaker 4 (02:13):
I was like, Wes, we're all under the same roof,
in the same space anyway, if we're if you're going
to get sick, you're gonna get sick.

Speaker 3 (02:20):
Side of the bed with Sean, she was on my
side of the bed.

Speaker 6 (02:22):
Okay, so she's on my side of the bed.

Speaker 3 (02:27):
It doesn't matter.

Speaker 6 (02:28):
Here's the only thing that I would say, because I
don't live with Josiah's mom. It's a situation where I'm
the only person he could cut or whatever the case
is with. So that's my only reason for saying, like, okay,
maybe I would. But if it's both y'all in the house,
you go in her room, it's funny and laying her big?

Speaker 2 (02:45):
Can I tell you it's funny because I'm sitting there,
this is me picturing this. I'm picturing the way that
you set it up. And maybe it was the way
you set it up to make me more sympathetic towards
Lucy being sick. And I'm thinking, oh, man, Wes, why
are you getting something? And then I'm thinking if else
he did it with my kids, would I be like,
get your ass out of my bed. And it's weird
because I think that, And I don't know why my

(03:08):
head goes here, My headspace goes here.

Speaker 1 (03:10):
How would West have felt if it was his daughter.
Some man.

Speaker 4 (03:13):
Well, that's what he said to me. He's like, you know,
you don't ever like getting sick. He's like, how would
you feel if you came in here and Sam was
just laying in our bed watching TV sick.

Speaker 1 (03:22):
I'm like, how would you feel? Really?

Speaker 2 (03:25):
And I hate to bring that up because I don't
want it to sound like you know, guys, you just
don't care for each each other's kids as much as
you care for yours.

Speaker 4 (03:32):
But it has nothing to do with his kids versus mine.
It's just that's what we like. Like I've never thought
in the past, go up in my bed and lay
and watch TV and fall asleep, and then I'll put
you to bed.

Speaker 3 (03:42):
You know it when it becomes bedtime.

Speaker 2 (03:44):
It's so funny because I'm head like, when you just
tell that story, I'm going, god, it is kind of hardcore.
And then I'm like sitting there going okay, well this
is this is like Luke or Joey or Jacob, and
I'm going get your ass out of my bed.

Speaker 4 (03:58):
He's also really crazy about being sick, and Sam has
a meet this weekend, so he's like, I don't want
her to get sick.

Speaker 3 (04:06):
I don't want to get sick and me what's on
my face?

Speaker 1 (04:10):
Then what do you do? Though, because you're in the
same walls.

Speaker 4 (04:12):
Guess what we're all If one goes down, we're all
going to follow matter where we've been taking it. It
doesn't matter where you are, you're going to get sick.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
My mom, by the way, when I would stay home
sick from school, and I don't know if you're like this,
because I know you said Lucy had been home sick
from school too, my mom would let us stay in
bed with her, like we would literally would lay in
bed with her.

Speaker 1 (04:34):
And then my dad wouldn't even sleep in the bed.

Speaker 2 (04:36):
Uh, my dad would go somewhere else.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
You know what, though, here's the deal, it's like moms
comfort their kids.

Speaker 4 (04:44):
Really, I'm only bringing this up because I need one
person to side with me because I'm kind of ony
in the wrong here.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
I just want one.

Speaker 2 (04:50):
Well, I was siding with you in the beginning, and
now I'm thinking if it was me, I probably wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Like I got to be honest with you too.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
Also, like if i'm you know, if he wouldn't do
it with his kids, you wouldn't you know? Then I
get it. It's cool, you know what I mean? And
I don't think he would be like, I don't want
to still don't want to get sick. I get it.
I wouldn't do it with my kids either. I would
be like, I don't want to be sick either. But
I don't know it was Smith. I love Smith.

Speaker 1 (05:15):
Smith, that kid for some reason. I don't know Lucy's okay.
Smith is Smith? Is that kid?

Speaker 2 (05:20):
Just since there he's got that There's something cool about
that kid.

Speaker 1 (05:23):
I love that kid. What's up, Kelly? How you doing?

Speaker 4 (05:27):
Oh?

Speaker 5 (05:28):
I feel back as Skinner just says she needed someone
to agree with her.

Speaker 7 (05:31):
But I don't know you.

Speaker 5 (05:37):
I'm usually really about the cuddling and all that, but no,
I have two kids, and you very well can avoid
sickness if you want to when it comes to kids.

Speaker 7 (05:46):
But I do think, like I definitely you.

Speaker 5 (05:49):
Know, putting them in the bed with you is just
kind of asking for it.

Speaker 7 (05:51):
So I kind of agree with Less. I'm sorry we turn.

Speaker 3 (05:54):
Off the DM radio.

Speaker 4 (05:55):
He just text me why spread germs to every room
instead of just leaving them in one quarantine?

Speaker 1 (06:01):
Ashley? What's up?

Speaker 5 (06:03):
Hi? I actually sided with Shannon. I think it's a
mom thing. I think kids want more comfort when they're
not feeling well, and she's found comfort in her mom's
spot watching her show till she fell asleep. That's what
she wanted.

Speaker 7 (06:18):
Are you a mom?

Speaker 5 (06:20):
I am?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (06:22):
What's wrong with going in the child's room though there's
there's no TV in there? Aren't we doing no technology?

Speaker 3 (06:31):
That TV doesn't count?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
Katrina? What's up? Katrina?

Speaker 7 (06:35):
Hi? I was gonna say, I side with Shannon. I'm sorry, West.

Speaker 5 (06:39):
You can go sleep on the couch for the night.
The girl wants to be comfort in her mom's bed. Okay,
she doesn't even have her iPads. She's you know, she
wants to watch TV. Just go sleep on the couch
for the night.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
She can be washed.

Speaker 3 (06:50):
Give me your numbers. I can FaceTime during every argument.

Speaker 7 (06:53):
I got you.

Speaker 6 (06:53):
Listen.

Speaker 5 (06:54):
I have a travel with autism and authorsm Moms don't play.

Speaker 7 (06:57):
Okay, this is our kids.

Speaker 1 (07:00):
Here's a question.

Speaker 2 (07:00):
There have been times where my kids have been sick
and Chelsea's like let them stay in bed and had
me move to one of their rooms because she wanted
to make sure she was there for them. How would
you react if you said, you know what, I want
Lucy to stay with me tonight.

Speaker 4 (07:14):
Honestly, he I give him credit there. He's really good
in those situations. Yeah, he would get that.

Speaker 1 (07:19):
He's flexible with that. What's up, Emily?

Speaker 7 (07:22):
Hi? You guys.

Speaker 6 (07:25):
I high side with Shannon.

Speaker 7 (07:27):
And every single year when my kids get sick around
this time, I have the same argument and they gets
brought up.

Speaker 5 (07:34):
Every year we argue about this last year.

Speaker 7 (07:36):
I know, but you know what, my kids are sick,
They want their mom. Their mom is their comfort person
and so is my bed. And yeah, so I will
battle that battle every year.

Speaker 2 (07:48):
There is something about mom in dad's bed that makes kids,
you know, comforted.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
They resa.

Speaker 7 (08:01):
I am a mom afore and you would think I
would be about to wear in a Heireland trophy the
way I keep those kids away from me when they
think like get up out of here with that with
West like go find your own bed, your own blanket,
don't bring that over here. Nobody here to say.

Speaker 2 (08:20):
And you're not the same, so recent you don't sound
like the mom that when your kids got snot on them,
you wipe it off with your shirt.

Speaker 1 (08:27):
You're not that kind of mom.

Speaker 7 (08:29):
Come on, ain't nobody doing that?

Speaker 1 (08:34):
The moms that love their kids do it, REESA.

Speaker 7 (08:37):
I love the Oh my god, I love my kids
to death, but when they sit, it is like, don't
find somebody else to deal with that.

Speaker 4 (08:43):
I just want to bring in water, which doesn't make
any sense, but I do, like, I just.

Speaker 7 (08:47):
Want to know them well, not as the mask has
been coming out and people wearing masks come close to me.
When I get a mask. On's moving back on the
way from over here around these parts.

Speaker 1 (09:00):
I resent quick question for you.

Speaker 2 (09:01):
If your kids needed an organ because they like the
kidney or something, would you give me yours?

Speaker 7 (09:07):
Oh god, this that's totally different, Loso.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
I'm just wondering totally. It depends which kid, right,
