Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, it is Mojo in the morning show, Shannon,
and she is a sea next Tuesday.
Speaker 2 (00:08):
Yeah, I was not on my finest behavior yesterday. I
will be the first to admit that. And Mojo saw
you saw the spirals start to happen after the show,
just like a lot of frustrations that I feel like
I've been sweeping under the rug for a really long
time and not letting myself get upset about. And at
(00:30):
the top of the list is my cole parenting relationship
is not the greatest right now, and it's just been
it's been heavy, to say the least. And so yesterday
got the better of me. And I always think of
it in my head like a bucket, where like I
can throw a lot of frustrations and anger into a
(00:51):
bucket and keep cool, and then at some point the
bucket overflows. And that is exactly what happened to me yesterday. Okay,
So I am out and running errands and not in
the best mood because of something that had happened, which
obviously I'm going to keep private. And I was on
the phone with my two girlfriends and Wes and just
(01:15):
using every bad word I've ever been taught in my life,
words that I don't even say ever on ever, on
a daily basis. And at one point I'm in English Gardens,
walking among the twinkling lights and the peppermint sticks and
the Christmas trees, and I am going off. My husband
(01:37):
West is on the phone and I am just letting louse,
catching him up. He's been out of town on like,
how frustrated and angry I am, and you again using
all the bad words in the book, and Wes He's like, wooo, shan, Shan,
take a deep breath.
Speaker 3 (01:58):
Where are you?
Speaker 2 (01:59):
I hear root off the Red Nose reindeer blaring in
the background, and I'm like, oh my god, I was
so in my zone of like being upset and angry
that I didn't even realize I'm like in a very
happy place. Yeah, And I am just mother effing everybody
yesterday not my finest moment.
Speaker 1 (02:18):
Is honestly, can I tell you it's better than if
you were at home, Because if you were at home
and you were doing this in your own home, where
you could, you know, have your four walls around you
and everything would be calm, it would not be honestly
as fitting as being at English Gardens. For those that
don't know is a nursery, right.
Speaker 2 (02:38):
It's a nursery. And they saw like all the Christmas things,
you know, which is what I was buying.
Speaker 3 (02:42):
And have Christmas trees.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
Yeah, I mean, if you saw me there. There weren't
a lot of people there because it was last night.
But I'm so sorry. I don't think there were any children.
I please Dear God, don't hope there were any children around,
but me and my trucker mouth and Rudolf we're walking
through there.
Speaker 1 (02:59):
I actually would love to know from our listeners, where
did you lose your spit? Where were you when you
lost your spit? Because when you lose your spit in
a public place like that, and it's not losing your
spit about what's going on in the public place, it's
losing your spit about something that's going on in your
life at the particular moment, that makes it even more
fitting because people don't understand why.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
And West kept saying, okay, all right, just take a
deep breath, and I was like, I give zero s.
Speaker 3 (03:30):
I was just raging you guys. You know what, we
got to get Shanning for Christmas? No, no, no, we
got to get shann in the shirt that says I
give zero f.
Speaker 2 (03:41):
I was like sweating as I was going, and then
I got back in my car and like, I am
slightly embarrassed at my behavior today.
Speaker 1 (03:47):
But you know what, it's the only other place that
you could have really lost your spit like that would
have been.
Speaker 3 (03:54):
I don't know, maybe somewhere.
Speaker 1 (03:55):
What's another happy place like losing it in uh, disney World,
Disney World, Yeah, exactly. That's probably the happiest place on earth.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
The Lego store.
Speaker 3 (04:04):
Oh yeah, you know, I don't know.
Speaker 1 (04:08):
Chick fil A. That place always makes me happy for
some reason. Angie, what's going on?
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Hi?
Speaker 3 (04:14):
Hi, good morning, Good morning, Angie. I wants to say
something to you, Shannon.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
You know, you are the epitome of the people that
drive me nuts in the stores.
Speaker 3 (04:23):
They're on their speaker.
Speaker 4 (04:24):
Phone and they are just have no idea who is.
Speaker 3 (04:29):
Around, what's going on. They are in the zone.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
But this seems to be happening more than ever. People
on their speakers.
Speaker 2 (04:35):
Oh, I was not on speaker phone. I was not
on speaker You couldn't hear the other end of the
conversation you heard.
Speaker 3 (04:41):
You only could hear the f moms.
Speaker 2 (04:42):
I'm not ah in public person. Yeah yeah, still in
the zone, still hollering your personal business.
Speaker 4 (04:49):
So yeah, and it's more than ever.
Speaker 3 (04:52):
I don't know why.
Speaker 1 (04:53):
Let me ask you a question, Angie. Have you ever
lost it though in a public place?
Speaker 2 (04:57):
Oh? Oh hell yeah?
Speaker 3 (04:59):
Yeah. Where's the last place that you lost at?
Speaker 2 (05:05):
I was actually in a store and it was a
lady in front of me, and can I say Kroger there?
Speaker 3 (05:13):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (05:14):
It was the pop specials in.
Speaker 4 (05:16):
Front of the lady in front of me checking out,
and she didn't get the right pops to get the discount.
She told them how they were full of it, left,
went to go get the pops, come back, and I
just simply said to her, like, what are you doing?
Speaker 3 (05:29):
You know, like, why are you cutting out this cashier?
You're making us all the way.
Speaker 4 (05:34):
I'm like, are you going to wreck this up anytime soon?
Speaker 1 (05:36):
Or should I go to a different aisle?
Speaker 3 (05:37):
Of course she was. She was not having it having
it with you there.
Speaker 1 (05:42):
And then of course my voice goes over, Hey, Chris,
how you doing.
Speaker 4 (05:51):
I'm good. So I work in at seeing your sonner,
and I'm sixty and most of the people there are
eighty and above, and so they all think I'm like
nice and friendly, and I usually am. I got a
phone fight with one of my co workers and she
hung up on me without realizing where I am. I
started screaming, use me at where don't you and hang
up on me? And I just screamed and going off
(06:14):
on her and I turn around and they look at me.
I'm like, yeah, I'm gonna take this call out in
the parking lot.
Speaker 2 (06:18):
I walk, I walked.
Speaker 4 (06:21):
I say. I was so irate that I should have
just hung up on the coworker and went back in
and apologized for the people. But I wasten you pacing
up and down the parking lot. I've probably looked like
a crazy person, but at least that I think I
won the argument anyway.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Sometimes and I am not good about letting anger out.
I like to stuff it and try to see the
silver lining. And sometime like yesterday, I was like, I
do not like it felt so good to let it out.
Speaker 3 (06:50):
Of my body.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
Do you ever do this in your car and you
think that the glass that they make on a General
Motors product actually is keeping the sound in And you
realize that people are came at you because they can
hear you screaming I.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
Got home yesterday and I still just like had so
much anger in me, and so I'm like, I feel
like it's just it'll help me if I just scream.
I scream so loud my poor two dogs looked at
me like whoo.
Speaker 3 (07:18):
Her oh man.
Speaker 1 (07:20):
By the way, you mentioned that this was, you know, issue,
little family affair thing that you'd obviously don't know. I
think that's one of the things the holidays bring out,
some of the times that the the frustrations of stuff,
and sometimes you almost need to have one of those moments.
I think that Anna's right, we may have to do
a little rage room do it.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
My friend just did it over the weekend, and she
said it was glorious.
Speaker 3 (07:42):
Just go, just go and do do your thing. I
like it.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Yeah, we're gonna We're gonna go have ourselves a little
rage room fun with with Shannon
