Fans, wait us, grab your coffee, and let's.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Get ready to do what we don't go ball, we'd

in s u great hard, win the game with honor.
You will keep your pande.
Speaker 2 (00:30):
Down the fun and game.
Speaker 4 (00:32):
Let me do it all line, let's be time.
Speaker 2 (00:42):
The Lions verse the Washington Commander.
Speaker 1 (00:46):
Let's go, and we've got a chance to get to
the NFC Championship for the second straight year. This time
we're not looking past anyone though. Washington's good and they're
on a roll. Uh, But we want to make sure
that you have a chance if you would love to
go see Allions game. And this ain't any other game.
And this isn't like preseason or regular season. This is postseason, guys,
(01:10):
and we haven't been used to this here in this town.
So I got to tell you guys this little story here.
And then we're going to pick up a special guest,
a very special guest who has helped us numerous times
with our mojo in the morning. Breaking and Entering Christmas
Wish called me up last week and said, Hey, I
love what you guys do during the holidays, and one
(01:31):
of the things that really makes me feel good is
hearing people feel good. And I feel like this world's
got so much negativity. I want to bring some more
positivity and not just do it at the holidays. So
I have an idea, and I said, what's that? And
they said, what if I were to make a donation
to Breaking and Entering Christmas Wish that you guys could
give to a listener who specifically would use that to
(01:53):
go see a Lions playoff game. So instead of hey,
I'm going to give you tickets, it was I'm going
to pay for whatever cost for you to go to
the game. But it was one stipulation, and the stipulation
was it had to be someone not that was just
a big Lions fan, but somebody that this would be
a life changing event for them, something big going on
(02:15):
in their life that might sway be swayed by this
great happy moment happening. Or maybe somebody's dealing with some
kind of a you know, a health issue and they
want something good to happen in their life. Or this
would be the chance to be able to see the lions.
And I held on and I said to him, I go, oh, okay, cool,
and he goes anonymous though, and I go anonymous and
he goes, yeah, anonymously, I want to do this. And
(02:35):
I said, well, can you at least come on the
air with a voice skuysorm machine And they said yes,
as long as you don't say my name. So no
saying name because it's up on the call screen board.
They wanted to be their gift back to you because
this person has lived in love Detroit for their whole life.
On the phone with us is mister anonymous? Are you there,
(02:58):
mister anonymous?
Speaker 5 (03:01):
Very anonymous?
Speaker 1 (03:02):
Okay, very anonymous? Why hold on? I got the voice?
This guy's around? Why does it sound like that for
some reason?
Speaker 2 (03:08):
There? Yes, yeah, breaking up?
Speaker 1 (03:13):
It's your phone's kind of breaking up. Do you have
a bad sell, mister anonymous? Are you sure that we
can afford these tickets?
Speaker 6 (03:20):
Here?
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Lydia is going to call you right back. Are you
on a speaker or what are you on?
Speaker 7 (03:28):
No?
Speaker 2 (03:28):
Right?
Speaker 5 (03:29):
That's okay?
Speaker 2 (03:31):
Is so much better. That was so much better. It
was just it was that he's mocking.
Speaker 8 (03:41):
About to out you and tell everybody who you are.
Speaker 1 (03:45):
What what was so so tell tell us why it
was that you wanted this to be something that you
wanted to do.
Speaker 5 (03:53):
I think the cool thing about sports is no matter
what's going on, everybody comes together. You go to the stadium.
It represents everything for a cause at the end of
the day really doesn't mean anything. And they win, they lose.
But for those two and a half three four hours,
(04:14):
we're all in the same page and we're nervous and
want our team to win. And I don't understand why
we can't be like that every day and come together.
It's just everybody's fighting, you know, politics and racism and everything,
and for one day, that stadium is still with every
single person known to mankind. Some of them are going
broke by in the tickets, but they come together. Yeah,
(04:38):
Dan Campbell and company have done for our city. I'm
in Florida, where my lines had that people come up
to me every day. So I'm rooting for you, guys.
I'm rooting for you guys. It's the story that's incredible.
Speaker 8 (04:49):
And you know what, these games are core memories for
people and a game like this would absolutely be a
core memory. I'm not even that huge of a sports fan,
and I will never ever forget the Tigers game that
my dad took me to and we were playing the
Baltimore Orioles and just like being at that game, that
(05:09):
is such a core memory for me, and I know
that this game will be that for somebody else.
Speaker 1 (05:16):
Well, you also you said something that was really interesting
to me, anonymous friend. You said to me that you
know that the average person cannot go to this because
they just don't have the means to do it so expensive,
and your ultimate goal was to have a great story
behind why you wanted to go, and by the way,
(05:38):
everybody's got a story. And then for you to take
somebody who probably would never be able to even you know,
get into Ford Field, let alone get a seat in
a great seat by the way, an end zone seat
possibly or you know, sideline seat, lower bowl, whatever it
is to be able to go and experience this. I
(05:59):
thought that was actually one of the coolest things ever.
And you're right, if for four hours we all can
have something in our life that is positive, let's do
it for somebody.
Speaker 2 (06:07):
That might not mean if you.
Speaker 5 (06:08):
If you want it, if you want no, if you
want no traffic Saturday night. There won't be any traffic
on the road. I promise you will be turned in.
Speaker 1 (06:17):
Yeah, it's true, that is actually true. The game time
is eight o'clock on Saturday.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
You know, the world having a heart attack. Don't call
nine one one, they're watching the game.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
That is true. All right. So here's my thing.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
We solicit for Mojo's breaking the entering Christmas Wish by
using Mojo's wish dot org. If you have a story
that you want to tell us, go to mojo'swish dot org.
Send us just a quick little note. You don't have
to be a great writer. You can voice to text
it and send it in to us. And then Lydia
and myself and Shannon, Megan have KP and Zach are
(06:53):
going to go through all of the entries and then
we're going to have you guys on the air with us.
And by the way, if you've got a story right now,
you can call eat for forur Mojove and will give
you an idea of whether or not we think this
story is you know, is a good one. But we
got to thank you for doing this like that is
that's huge, man, that's just unbelievable, not really how quick
(07:14):
question for you? How wealthy of a guy are you?
And are you single?
Speaker 2 (07:18):
Can we.
Speaker 5 (07:21):
Not wealthy enough? I'm still working and I need to
make more because because I am single.
Speaker 2 (07:34):
You know what's cool about this.
Speaker 5 (07:35):
Trying to get to be in front of my name.
Speaker 1 (07:38):
You know what's cool about this though, is uh you know, keV,
you and I have been to a bunch of games
together and we have memories, like there's core memories out
of that. Imagine if you are somebody that is listening
right now and you've got a son or a daughter
that has got their Honolulu Blue on all the time,
and that's the only thing that you can afford that
is Lions is a shirt from Cole's. But this would
(08:00):
be your opportunity to have them put that shirt on
and surprise them and take them to a game. I
mean that would be.
Speaker 9 (08:06):
Well, your mom and dad have been Lions fans, or
your grandpa or somebody have been watching the games on
television with the dreams of seeing the Lions make the
playoffs and make a serious run for the Super Bowl,
and now is your opportunity to make that memory with them.
Speaker 1 (08:18):
This is the moment. Yeah, I love the stories that
come out of this. There's always like the TV stations
that come in they found out the story of you know,
Grandpa's just got the diagnosis or something, or Dad's got
the diagnosis, and this would be them being able to
see something that they've not seen ever, and that is
the Lions win. Hold on real quick, let me let
(08:40):
me grab a call here, So stand by for one
second there, mister Anonymous, are you there?
Speaker 10 (08:48):
Sarah, Hey, good morning everyone.
Speaker 6 (08:52):
I'm a recreational therapy student over at Eastern Michigan, and
we've taken our veterans to sport games, even just like
a few of them field hockey games, just like honestly
seeing how much like giving somebody this experience for just
going to see the Lions, that that means so much
(09:12):
to hear that, you know, you want to make that
accessible to somebody who may not have that experience.
Speaker 1 (09:19):
Again, Sarah, do us a favor, find find out you know,
maybe a person or a couple, because it's going to
be a pair of tickets. It would be enough for
a pair of tickets because it's basically gonna be money
to buy these tickets and the ticket prices, by the way,
are crazy you want to and that's not what just
the Lions are charging for him. That's what people the
secondary markets charging because that's where these tickets are coming.
(09:40):
And come up with, you know, something that would be
great and send it to Mojo's wish dot org.
Speaker 10 (09:45):
Okay, Yeah, I work with children right now over at
Mott and just like when we have like athletes coming,
it's just like it's amazing to see the kids' faces,
Like I get pears in my eyes.
Speaker 6 (09:59):
It's amazing.
Speaker 2 (10:00):
Thank you for doing what you do.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
Thanks for choosing that as your as your feel that
your career because you're making a difference.
Speaker 2 (10:06):
Elizabeth, what's up?
Speaker 10 (10:07):
Oh and he's hi.
Speaker 4 (10:10):
My brother in law is in his seventies and he's
wheelchair bound right now, but he has beat brain cancer twice,
lung cancer once, and colon cancer one.
Speaker 7 (10:22):
Oh.
Speaker 1 (10:24):
Yeah, that's a guy that needs to be an Allions game.
For God's sakes. We've beaten oh to sixteen. That's amazing.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Yeah, he's never missus a Lion's game and his sons
come over every time there's a game and watch it
with his dad. I mean they did go to a
couple of games back in the day. When they you know,
they weren't winning. But now that he doesn't go anywhere.
Speaker 1 (10:49):
So Mojo's wish dot org. Will you send us all
the details on that, Elizabeth, I will.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
I love you for that. Thank you for this. We
appreciate you.
Speaker 4 (10:57):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Real quick, I got to ask mister anonymous. Mister Anonymous,
are you back?
Speaker 2 (11:03):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (11:04):
Yes, I got a text here. This is from two
four eight. It says, would this be a possibility? Been
married for ten years, have had nothing but bad luck
happened in my life, and my wife has not made
love to me in the last five Am I eligible
for this contest?
Speaker 5 (11:22):
Well, that would be no, because he's probably saved all
that money go to the game himself. That is not
that is I think, by the way, I think it's
probably normal for most marriages anyway, exactly.
Speaker 1 (11:38):
All right, Hold on one second, Jessica's got one a
stay quiet, mister anonymous, so I can pick her up
and then, because your voice will be disguised, are you there.
Speaker 2 (11:46):

Speaker 7 (11:53):
I am a single mother of two.
Speaker 3 (11:56):
Right now.
Speaker 7 (11:57):
My son is a junior in high school and he
lives eats threes football He actually has about four footballs
at the end of his bed. Every night when he's
watching the Lions game, he's always tossing his football in
his hand. He never misses a game. He used to
play for Carlson High School, but unfortunately with his asthma,
(12:18):
he's unable to participate in football right now. But he
still tends all the games with his buddies. He's I
can't say enough about how much he just he doesn't
miss a game. He watches all of the football games.
He watched last night to see who was going to
go against them this coming up weekend. I can barely
(12:38):
afford a jersey thankfully. You know family, We have family
across in Las Vegas, which is where they're where they
were born. I'm from Michigan myself, but my mother helps
out with as far as like the NFL gear and
stuff like that because it's just too expensive.
Speaker 2 (12:58):
As a single mom.
Speaker 1 (12:58):
Giving him an opportunity to be able to go to
the game would be a life changing thing for him. Yeah,
and you being able to do it, I want you
to do as a favor. I'm gonna have Lydia pick
you up and she's going to walk you through the
process of Mojo's wish Dot Organ all that your story
sounds amazing, and honestly, that's exactly what we're talking about.
(13:19):
That is that's the reason why this person wanted to
do it, because if he could turn those tears that
I could hear that were coming from you into the
best smile in the world and some awesome pictures tears
the cheers.
Speaker 7 (13:35):
Yeah, I have to It's possible because I have to soon.
I have to order my uber to work here shortly,
so hopefully I can't get that handles twenty minutes here.
