Speaker 1 (00:00):
Mojo.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
He's charming and sweet, unless you're a cheater, then he'll
embre is you live on the air here, Mojo in
the morning.

Speaker 3 (00:15):
Or the roses and how they're found out? The worst
that could possibly be, and that is to find out
that your spouse is cheating on you, but to find
it out at this time of the year has got
to be even harder. And this morning's wore the roses
lends itself to something that I've seen before, and actually
I've seen friends and family fall victim to this, and

(00:39):
it is the financial infidelity. Starts the infidelity where all
of a sudden, they financially are going out and doing
things that they're not telling their partner about and then
next thing you know, it leads to them going and
doing what Heather's husband just did just a second ago.
Good morning, it's Mojo with Shame and keV Anna is here.

(01:03):
Bianca Lydia Zach wore the roses question for you.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
Yeah, because I've heard you talk before.

Speaker 4 (01:11):
About being married and having separate bank accounts, Like do
you think I don't even know the right question, but
do you think that some people may not have separate
bank accounts for this very reason?

Speaker 5 (01:25):
Just to keep so they can keep track of everything.

Speaker 4 (01:28):
I mean, I don't want to say keep track because
that's like, that's like setting yourself up a failure, Like
that's not the reason why you would want to do
it is like a seed, but it doesn't hurt.

Speaker 3 (01:39):
We never had separate bank accounts. We do have separate
credit cards, but it comes from the same account. But
I don't see all Chelsea's charges, and we have separate everything,
and I don't think she sees all my charges when
you know, in a case like this right here though,
and this is something for you, Shannon, with you guys

(02:00):
having the separate stuff, if your husband were to take
out another credit card like Heather's husband did and not
say anything, would you say that that would be a
form of infidelity. I don't know that I would call
it infidelity.

Speaker 5 (02:17):
I would instantly be suspicious as to why, like if
you didn't say anything to me about it.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
But here's the thing, though, the finances, even though your
names not on it, basically aren't going to be part
of your finances because you guys combine your financial responsibilities together,
and if all of a sudden he falls financially behind,
like this case here, where the guy maxes out the
card and she gets a call from the credit card company.

Speaker 5 (02:44):
I know that there's something called financial infidelity. I just
when I think infidelity, I think cheating, like with another person,
so my brain doesn't go there.

Speaker 4 (02:50):
But yeah, that would be a problem. I feel like
it has to be a conversation. If y'all married, we
locked in. I don't know why you would go open
up another bank account or get an another credit card
without letting me know. Not that you have to ask
for my permission, but I just feel like a conversation
if you're not if you're filling out the form, it
takes you long enough to fill out the form, then

(03:12):
picking up the phone and going, hey, I'm thinking about
filling out the form, you know, or or whatever you
do to get that card. Nowadays, though, I gotta tell you,
every time I open up my iPhone, it wants me
to get a card.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
You ever see that with an Apple the card? Yeah?

Speaker 3 (03:25):
Yeah, they want me to have an Apple card so bad.
I'm telling you I love my Apple card. You do
You actually are the one that says yes, yes, Okay,
we'll talk about that later.

Speaker 2 (03:37):
Wendy, what's going on? Wendy?

Speaker 1 (03:40):
Good morning, Mojo, Good morning.

Speaker 2 (03:42):
Going on.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
I don't really want to talk about the call and
the husband because I think it's really clear what he's doing.
I want to say something to his wife when she
said I don't know what we're going to do, like
that just broke my heart. And what she's going to
do is love those babies. And the next days and
weeks and months are going to be so hard, but

(04:06):
she's going to be strong for her babies and she's
going to.

Speaker 6 (04:09):
Figure this out. She just needs to.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Focus on them, be strong for them, be consistent and
present for them, and it will work out. And it
may seem like your world is imploding, but she will
get through this, and she will get her babies through this.

Speaker 3 (04:25):
Yeah, thank you, Wendy, thank you for the words there.
I know it will help her. Let's go to Kelly next.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
Hi Kelly, Hi, So I caught my ex husband cheating.

Speaker 7 (04:39):
It wasn't because of his teament on the bills, but
he remember back in the day, they used to have
the phone.

Speaker 6 (04:46):
Numbers on the bills and the paper statements. Yeah, That's
how I caught him is I got a paper statement
and normally I would just throw it to the side.

Speaker 7 (04:55):
But for some reason, I just opened this one and
there was phone numbers that.

Speaker 6 (04:59):
Like to three o'clock in the morning that I did
not know.

Speaker 7 (05:04):
I would put on my phone and I'm like, I.

Speaker 6 (05:06):
Don't know that number. We would be calling at two
three o'clock in the morning. It was really the paper bill.

Speaker 2 (05:11):
You know, what made busting cheating people.

Speaker 3 (05:16):
Uh, when everything went to non paperless you know what
I mean, like because because when you used to have
the paper that would come you know, the I know
you're talking about the big old Verizon bill with the.

Speaker 6 (05:27):
Thing that everybody used to force you to go to paperless.

Speaker 2 (05:29):
Yeah, you could, and you could see line by line
every single.

Speaker 6 (05:34):
Call was on line the phone number, the time.

Speaker 7 (05:37):
Sometimes some would show you like how long they were
on the phone.

Speaker 2 (05:40):
With the person for so, Yeah, who was he calling?

Speaker 6 (05:44):
He was calling this girl he used to work with,
and he's like, oh, I would talk to her about
work stuff. I said, at three o'clock in the morning,
you guys.

Speaker 2 (05:52):
Work for Yeah, come on, where were you at three
o'clock in the morning.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
I was there, But he would be on he would
go like down stairs or something like I'd be, you know,
knocked out of sleep.

Speaker 6 (06:02):
At three o'clock in the morning. Stop talking to somebody
when their wife.

Speaker 7 (06:05):
Is sleeping right next to them, and she would go
downstairs and he would be on the phone with her.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Was that enough? Was that enough proof for you? Was
that all you needed? Or did you need money? Oh?

Speaker 6 (06:15):
Yeah, that's all I needed.

Speaker 7 (06:17):
But I had a little fun with it, so I
can't fish him. And I had a little fun with it.
I just wanted more proof.

Speaker 2 (06:24):
Well do too? What do you mean, what did you do?

Speaker 7 (06:28):
I randomly just like tested his phone from a burner
phone and I was like, oh, I'm so sorry.

Speaker 6 (06:36):
I stumbled upon your phone and he just.

Speaker 7 (06:38):
Snatched the bait and I just kind of let him
on and I was like, oh, you're not married.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
And he's like no, no, no, and I'm like, okay, cool,
got all the proof?

Speaker 3 (06:47):
I mean, man, oh man, Kelly, thank you, thank you
for the call.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
I appreciate you. I hope you're in a happier place.

Speaker 6 (06:56):
Oh, so much happier. It was years ago. It was
like twelve thirteen years ago.

Speaker 8 (07:01):
But yeah, I.

Speaker 6 (07:02):
Having such a better place, So he's going to be
in a better place too.

Speaker 7 (07:06):
There's a light at the end of the tunnel and
it's going to make her a stronger person.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Let me get to the financial stuff, because Amy, you
caught your husband doing some PayPal and venmos on the side.

Speaker 9 (07:19):
Yeah, good morning, everybody morning. Yeah, this actually happened about
two years ago, and it happened at the beginning of
the summer. I found out. So I'd pay all the
bills and I had some weird charges, just some PayPal
charges that I was investigating. So I went back to
his PayPal just to see what they were, and they

(07:40):
were charges through from his credit card that came through.
So then I traced through those and he was making
some random payments and then there was some cash advances
and so he had been catfished and not realized it
and had been sending advances for this person who knew
was trying to get back home.

Speaker 2 (08:00):
And what an idiot formed a relationship.

Speaker 9 (08:03):
Yeah, he formed this relationship with this person and she
had had all these pictures and stuff, and I found out.
I think it started in October. I found out the
beginning of December, and I didn't want to implode the
kids Christmas or ruin anything, so I decided I was
going to wait until after New Years and then ask
for a divorce. So during that time I told him

(08:25):
to get all this diversity PayPal or whatever. So he did.
He was not happy, Bob. He did, and he continued
to talk to this person like they were real, like
I could have been a man or woman. And so.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
I was spending all that money and getting nothing out
of it, just as cat.

Speaker 9 (08:42):
Fix exactly exactly.

Speaker 3 (08:44):
So then that at that point right there, I don't
know what is more depressing that my wife is going
to divorce me right after the holidays, or that I
feel like the biggest dumb son of a bitch in
the world that I did that.

Speaker 9 (08:58):
Well, then he did it again. Oh well, yeah, I
was going through bills again and he did another. He
did it again. We got cash advanced from a stayal again.

Speaker 3 (09:08):
How did you guys go through Christmas with him giving
away all your money?

Speaker 2 (09:12):
How were you able to buy gifts for the kids?

Speaker 9 (09:15):
Well, he took cash advantas out on his paipal. He
didn't do it through our checking because I'm working accounting,
so I was.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
But eventually he comes back. He must have made some
money if that's the case.

Speaker 9 (09:24):
Yeah, he no, No, he hadn't paid him yet. That's
the problems he hadn't paid him, so I wouldn't pay it,
so he also so he took a dinitt again twice,
and then he tried sending the money to his friend
to send the money.

Speaker 3 (09:36):
Okay, enough already, I've heard too much. I'm sorry, Amy,
I'm sorry. I apologize you went through this whole thing.
I charge a lot for therapy. I feel like now
I'm getting to that point here. Do we want Samantha
who caught her boyfriend cheating through his cash app?

Speaker 2 (09:55):
What do you think?

Speaker 9 (09:55):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (09:56):
Yeah, how did you catch him.

Speaker 8 (09:58):
Samantha Hi, through his cash app?

Speaker 2 (10:03):
Okay? And what was he doing? How was he cheating?

Speaker 8 (10:06):
Well, first I've seen it through a website, one of
those interactive kids you go. I don't want to say
too much, but you know those websites. Yeah, and then
I seen that it was through like personal names on
there of nobody I ever knew, So I know the
names came from those websites.

Speaker 2 (10:21):
You mean, like I'm talking like OnlyFans like that type
of thing.

Speaker 8 (10:25):
That one, and then there's a couple other ones that
you can like pay as you watched not.

Speaker 5 (10:32):
How did you have access to his cash app to
see that he was making these these payments on the phone.

Speaker 8 (10:38):
Oh okay, I just looked on the phone and instead
of doing messages where people can hide, they don't think
the cash app history.

Speaker 4 (10:45):
Yeah I did.

Speaker 2 (10:46):
Yeah, I know.

Speaker 5 (10:47):
I know somebody who found out that her husband was
cheating and it was Venmo, so very similar.

Speaker 4 (10:52):
He wasn't think that he was doing anything wrong or
that it wasn't cheating because he didn't know these people.

Speaker 8 (10:57):
How do you justify no, I personally, I think that's
still cheating only because it's interactive and you're doing it
in the moment.

Speaker 2 (11:05):
Yeah, they're real people.

Speaker 8 (11:07):
Yeah, did he I still take a sense to him
watching porn? Yeah, because why can't you wait for me
on there?

Speaker 6 (11:15):
Live in the flesh?

Speaker 8 (11:16):
You know. So that's my own personal but I still
it's a level of cheating to me.

Speaker 7 (11:21):
Definitely.

Speaker 3 (11:22):
And can I tell you in this case, I think
that's what Heather's dealing with right now. And just to
give you a quick update, I think it's not that
he's out having a relationship with somebody. I think he's
meeting up with people on OnlyFans and I think that's
he develops such a habit to it. Now, the guy's
got five thousand dollars worth of debt because of it.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
I mean that is a.

Speaker 3 (11:42):
