Speaker 1 (00:00):
All right, Mojo on the Morning show. So this is

(00:02):
a big move. Shannon's husband made a big purchase and
the surprise happened when she looked in her driveway. I
love my husband. I love my husband. I love my
husband anything.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
He is a Facebook marketplace scroller in the middle of
the night, like after I fall asleep. We go to
bed together after I fall asleep that he either scrolls
Instagram or he scrolls Facebook Marketplace, never looking for anything specific.
He just thinks that he is going to find some
sort of treasure.

Speaker 1 (00:37):
One time it happens.

Speaker 2 (00:39):
Well, it happened because we are were not in the
market for a new vehicle. Everybody in our household who
is of driving age has a vehicle. But he told
me one morning last week while I was here, he
sent me a text and said that he saw a
really cool I say vintage because it is from the eighties,

(01:00):
vintage jeep Wrangler on Facebook marketplace for a really really
good price. Somebody locally here in East Point was selling it.
And he's like, I think I'm going to buy it.
You're so funny. I did not believe him. Okay, I'm thinking,
like I always do that kind of stuff, right, like, oh,
I think we should buy this, and I'm just saying
it for spits and giggles. So he sends it to me.

(01:20):
I don't think anything of it, I think, I responded,
ha ha, and that was it until the next day.
I get home and there is a nineteen eighty nine
jeep Wrangler in the driveway.

Speaker 1 (01:33):
He were I couldn't believe it. How much money did
you spend? I don't.

Speaker 2 (01:40):
I mean, I know how much, but go ahead.

Speaker 1 (01:42):
Tell because I want to know money wise, like at
a certain point, like I don't, I wouldn't feel comfortable
spending over one thousand dollars. I knew how much it cost.

Speaker 2 (01:51):
Had he actually like when he was saying, oh, I'm
going to buy this thing, I knew the dollar amount,
which was twelve five hundred dollars. Okay, so I knew
that that was the cost, did you?

Speaker 1 (02:01):
But but he didn't, like say to you ahead of time,
I'm going to buy this thing. He's no, she did.
I thought he was joking. I literally wrote back, So
here's the topic, and I can't believe they bought blank
and I want to know what it was that they
bought and didn't tell you until after they made the purchase,
but I have to I have to ask this question.

(02:21):
I want to throw this out there. Do you and
I know that you guys have your separate cards except
for wait, did he put it on that one credit
card that he always no money? So do you have
to like? Yeah, you guys both work and stuff whatever.
Chelsea's a stay at home mom and has been a
stay at home mom our whole marriage. I still ask

(02:42):
her for permission. Hey do you mind if I do
something like this? And she does with me? Oh? Sometimes
maybe not, but but I do say only because I
want to, you know, be able to know that we
don't have like something crazy happening, like you know, like
another car in your driveway right, or or we got
a bill coming up or taxes.

Speaker 3 (03:03):
You know.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
He's like something like that, whatever is for? But I
but I, uh, how nice of a jeep? Is it isn't? I?
Do you like it? Okay? So I do like it.
Did he have one that he sold when he first
got into the relationship with you?

Speaker 2 (03:14):
Yeah, he had a deep Wrangler actually, and he sold
it because we needed to buy a car for are
now college freshman. Okay, but I think he sold it
and had some remorse, he like really missed having one
and the cool story with this one, and I give
him credit? Is he his stepdad actually worked on this

(03:37):
jeep like it's from Brampton, Ontario, and he had all
the markings and he called his stepdad and.

Speaker 1 (03:44):
He actually talked. He was a genius. You are a
goddamn genius. You know why you are excuse my language
on this one. You are because you pulled out the
old dead dad, Car.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
Well, his dad's very much life, very much car.

Speaker 1 (04:00):
Okay, you pulled out the whole family. You know, my
family saying I'm going to say that to Chelsea when
I buy myself and you said a golf clubs, Chelsea,
I would like you to know that my dad best
friends with mister Titleist. So are you like, is it

(04:25):
one of those things where you feel as though he
has to drive this because if it's just sitting there
and it becomes like just this eyesore, well.

Speaker 2 (04:31):
I don't know where we're going to keep it because
I don't think I can stay outside in the winter
and we don't have we don't have a drige that
we park in. Roger's gone into gym. He turned it
into a gym. When he moved in getting a storage unit.
I have my I have my Acadia. He has his
ram are. My stepdaughter has her car. She has a jeep.

Speaker 1 (04:53):
You guys got it.

Speaker 2 (04:53):
So I'm like, where we don't have a big drive roam,
So we're ready parking a car on like the side
of the you know what I mean?

Speaker 1 (05:01):
You like you on the street. Sometimes don't let you
do that?

Speaker 2 (05:06):
No they do.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
So wait a second, you got a used car lot there.
You know you have just become now filling the role
of Megan.

Speaker 2 (05:15):
I told him that, I'm like, we are now that
that has a million cars parked in the driveway.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Ashley, what's up? It's Mojo in the morning. I can't
believe they bought Ashley.

Speaker 3 (05:26):
My husband buys lawnmowers, after lawnmowers, and after buying so
many lawnmowers, his new obsession is the ride on lawnmowers.

Speaker 4 (05:34):
So now we have two.

Speaker 3 (05:36):
Right on lawnmowers and three regular lawnmowers in our garage.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
How many lawnmowers does he need to cut your lawn? Why?

Speaker 3 (05:43):
I don't know, because sometimes I caught it with the
pushing woman and he's sitting on there riding and I'm
just like, oh my gosh, where can I.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Park my car? Oh my god, I feel like people
collect that's random, that's very wild. Aaron High, I can't
believe they bought mojo.

Speaker 4 (05:57):
My husband went up to the party store. He comes
home with this Macho Man Randy Savage slim Jim. He
had to convince he had to convince the guy to
sell it to him.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Guess how much he paid for it?

Speaker 1 (06:15):
How much?

Speaker 4 (06:17):
Two hundred dollars.

Speaker 1 (06:20):
It's it's the Macho Man Randy Savage slim gems container
that he used as a display there. Did he also,
by the way, did he also get like, you know,
I know, the cardboard cutout of Macho Man with life
size version.

Speaker 4 (06:38):
I wish I feel like that should have been thrown
in for two hundred dollars.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
That's Nick? What's up? Nick? How you doing?

Speaker 2 (06:47):
Hey?

Speaker 5 (06:48):
Good morning guys.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
Morning.

Speaker 5 (06:50):
First of all, Shannon, don't don't be too quick to judge.
Jeeps are really fun and once a good man.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
You guys, how do you know him? No, it sounds
like a man that this sounds like a man that
drives it cheaply. The jeep wave Is that right? Nick?
You've got ducks? In his isshoe right now.

Speaker 5 (07:12):
Well, I got I got one too. I actually bought
a fence and installed it around my entire property without
my wife knowing.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
A fence? How much he did not? How much does
a fence?

Speaker 6 (07:25):
I want it?

Speaker 1 (07:26):
How much is a fence cost? Is it expensive?

Speaker 5 (07:29):
It was like four grand?

Speaker 2 (07:30):
Yeah, yeah, that's not cheap.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
You know what, though, you're adding to the value of
your property. You just made her more secure with a fence.

Speaker 5 (07:37):
You get me, moto.

Speaker 1 (07:38):
That was the boy mask. You can hide the jeep
hold on. Jessica high what did your husband buy without
your permission?

Speaker 6 (07:48):
A twenty five thousand dollars roots.

Speaker 1 (07:51):
But it's a roof? Though?

Speaker 6 (07:53):
Did you need a roof?

Speaker 2 (07:54):
I'm assuming no.

Speaker 6 (07:55):
We did not need that big expensive roof.

Speaker 5 (07:59):
He just did it because he was the boss and
told me what to do.

Speaker 1 (08:02):
But Jessica, no offense. He's not going I got the
coolest roof in the neighborhood. He's putting a roof on
your house. I was going to say, how expensive roofs are?
Not that expensive? I just did one. How big my
brother in law could have done. So what's what's the difference?
In Okay? I don't know how big your home is.

(08:24):
So I have no clue. I'm not going to judge,
but what is it? What does what does your roof
do that my roof doesn't? What is the roofs? What's
the difference?

Speaker 6 (08:32):
It's a metal roof.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
He put a metal roof. Was good about that? Yeah,
So it's like that's kind of a style. I think
there's a style of people that have metal roofs and
stuff like that instead of putting shingles and stuff.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
Noticed that he thought he had money.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
That's that's like that farmhouse kind of look or whatever
that people are doing. Listen to this one. This is
a big ass one. Don's husband. What did your husband buy?
And didn't ask you for permission?

Speaker 4 (08:56):
On?

Speaker 1 (08:59):
Done?

Speaker 3 (09:01):
My husband bought an airplane.

Speaker 1 (09:05):
This is like my husband bought a zoo? Really what
kind of a plane?

Speaker 3 (09:12):
It was a small Sessna airplane. He was going and
doing airplane lessons to become a pilot.

Speaker 1 (09:19):
Just for a hobby.

Speaker 3 (09:20):
He was on he was on an auction site and
they had one on auction for like eighteen thousand dollars.
It wasn't a ton of mine. But his story is
he was showing my daughter, who was eight or nine
at the time how the auction site worked, so he

(09:41):
only bid one hundred dollars more than the highest bid
at the time and it had hours left. So of
course his story is that he thought, oh no, no way,
I'm winning this bid. Yep, we wanted We had an airplane.

Speaker 1 (09:56):
Oh my gosh it was it something you guys lost
money on or were you able to use it and
have fun with it?

Speaker 3 (10:03):
Nope? Yeah, we used it. We went to macanaw, we
went to a family wedding, He flew all kinds of places,
took his brother's.

Speaker 1 (10:10):
Golf and oh yeah, cool, I would love if he
could give me a ride to an I sold it.

Speaker 3 (10:17):
Since then, but yeah, it was nice.

Speaker 1 (10:19):
You know what, that's an interesting one, you know, because
you're talking about how Wes is on Facebook marketplace. A
lot of times you put a bid in thinking they're
not going to take your bed.

Speaker 2 (10:26):
And then all, yeah, I think that's part of what
happened here too.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
By yah chit ching chain hold on last call here?
Uh Melissa, what did your husband buy?

Speaker 2 (10:36):
Hi?

Speaker 6 (10:36):
First off, I'm a first time long time so I'm
so excited to be on. I've listened to you guys
for forever, but I was hanging out of my sister's
house one day and I got a phone call from
my husband. He had supposedly went to like this pigeon
auction with my brother in law, and he called me

(10:56):
and told me he had purchased fourteen pigeons.

Speaker 1 (11:03):
What is he exactly?

Speaker 4 (11:07):
What do you do?

Speaker 1 (11:09):
What do you do with pigeons, pigeon pets or what
is it?

Speaker 6 (11:13):
No, he wanted to make them and to carry your pigeons.
He built a pigeon loft. We have a pigeon loft
behind our garage now, and that's where they lived.

Speaker 1 (11:27):
Is this is this Brooke Torvado. And by the way,
did they ever carry anything except for weight? Because they actually,
you know, spent a lot of money.

Speaker 5 (11:47):
Well, one of.

Speaker 6 (11:48):
Them escaped and he tried to tried to capture.

Speaker 3 (11:51):
It by creating this whole elaborate like.

Speaker 6 (11:54):
Cage with a stick and a robe. And I was
I was telling him, I'm like, you just gotta let
him go, like it's kind of cool to keep him
back there, and he was like, yeah, you're right, we
should just let him fly away.

Speaker 3 (12:03):
Unreal.

Speaker 1 (12:05):
