Speaker 1 (00:02):
All right, Mojo in the Morning, I'm gonna keep all
the rest of the topics clean because I don't want
to have anybody slipping at Christmas dinner this year, namely
Cooper and Carter and saying something that they learned from
the Mojo in the Morning show and Antia. We got
in studio with us this morning. Anna's family, So it's

(00:23):
been fun to be able to celebrate the pre birthday
of Anna. Are you guys going to lunch or anything
today or doing anything fun?

Speaker 2 (00:30):
I have some spots to record. Okay, we're going on break, but.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
We'll see special shout out to our sister Alison. I said,
we're keeping a clean special shout out someone in by
the way the studio.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
This man has literally hit a horny level has.

Speaker 4 (00:48):
Apparently the Grinch makes him horny.

Speaker 1 (00:55):
All right, real quick, I wanted to end this with, uh,
just a holiday topic. I want to do a holiday
topic right now, and I want you to call up
and participate. But you're going to call quick because I
don't have much time. We had a crazy throwback throw
down today and I want to play that before we leave.
I mean, that thing got nuts and it was actually
a good contest and then the ending got even weirder.

(01:17):
So we'll get into that coming up in a second.
Here is the holiday topic I want, and I want
you to prove what you would sound like if this case.
I want to know what's the worst Christmas gift you
ever got in your entire life? And then I want
to ask this question, how many of you guys have
had to fake the big it wouldn't be oh for

(01:39):
you know what I'm talking about, but had to fake
the big excitement level of getting a gift you're opening
up going because we talked about resting gift faced yesterday.
But what's the worst gift you got? And then how
did you get through it without the people knowing that
that was like the worst gift that you ever got.

Speaker 3 (01:57):
See, when I think of the worst gift, it's not
when I received it. I'm opening up and I'm like,
oh my god, this is crabby. It's the fact that
my grandma purchased me, you know, a bunch.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Of toys and some clothes, and I leted everything she got.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
One of the clothing items she purchased me were underwear,
and they were like wool underwear. I thought they would
be incredibly warm, it was cold outside. Dog when I
got to school, when I say I was scratching from
the first bill to the last bill. I went home
through every single bit of wear and caught her like
Grandma water he get these draws.

Speaker 1 (02:31):
That was the worst gif VI ever. So so it
was not necessarily was something that you knew at the time.
You thought it was going to be a great kid.

Speaker 3 (02:36):
I was like, it's so cold outside, let's get warm draws.
But that was not the right fabric.

Speaker 1 (02:40):
I first off, my thing is always people always get
me the sizes twenty eight times too big, and that's
the one that kind of disappoints me, is that. But
I will never forget the one Christmas and it was
Lenora's uncle. So Lenora's uncle was somebody who I always thought,
was you ever have this in your family where you
think somebody's your ant and then you find out when

(03:01):
they die and they don't leave you in their will.
They were just friends of your parents, and they call
your parents because oh, you know, you got my kids
have a lot of aunties. Yeah, a lot of people.
It's like, aunt, You're not an aunt? Why am I
calling you aunt? You know, it's kind of a disrespect
to the other ants, right, disrespect to antia. So Lenora's
uncle got me and it just still disappoints me. A

(03:22):
four X sweater from I don't even know where it
was from. It was actually from a not a bad
place and it was the biggest sweater I've ever seen.
And she would get drunk at our house and ask
us to put the stuff on. She never had kids,
you know, she was like the rich lady that never
had kids, and I'll never forget. She's like, put that on,
and I put it on. It literally is draping me

(03:44):
and she goes, you'll grow into it, which at that
time I probably could have grown into it. I was
eating like a maniac. So who's the bad gift giver
in your house?

Speaker 2 (03:55):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (03:55):
Well, so I feel like the worst if they ever
received came come elements of my ex husband who gave
me a garbage can lid one yearly a garbage can
lid a joke or no. He was like, I noticed
that raccoons ate through the garbage can lid, So that
was a gift for real.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
Did he give you other things that were like really
nice or not? I don't think so.

Speaker 4 (04:15):
I think that might have been it.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
Happened to him. I gotta be honest. He seems like
a guy that gives great gifts and lives life to
the fullest. Yeah, I can keep on.

Speaker 4 (04:27):
And then either last year or the year before, Wes,
my husband West got me a and Wes is actually
a really good gift giver. This was so random and
I couldn't even pretend to be excited about it. He
got me a book about gut health.

Speaker 1 (04:43):
I else would love that gift.

Speaker 4 (04:45):
I was like, where do you think I ever?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
I do not care about my gut health.

Speaker 4 (04:51):
So that went right to the Encore resale shop on Southfield.

Speaker 1 (04:55):
I would have thought he was calling me fat.

Speaker 4 (04:57):
No, that's that's not a fat or skinny thing.

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Now, that's about staying healthy. Yeah, is the big thing now,
it's like a big Okay, the big thing at the
time that I got it for Chelsea was a roomba.
I got her a room by everybody was loving rumbas,
and somebody was like tickle me Elmo of the time,
like where you can get one, and You're like, get it.
I'm going to buy it. So I bought the room,
but going, oh my god, Chelsea's gonna love this thing,
and she looked at me and goes, you don't get

(05:23):
your wife a vacuum right right now? What did you?
What's the worst gift you remember?

Speaker 2 (05:27):
I don't think I ever got bad gifts. And I'm
not saying this just because they're here, but Alison really
traumatized my mom by not being happy with her Christmas gifts.
She would return all of.

Speaker 5 (05:38):
Them really, so.

Speaker 3 (05:41):
Yeah, so.

Speaker 2 (05:43):
My mom would just literally ask me exactly what I wanted,
or take me shopping and get me what I wanted,
because Allison sort of traumatized her.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
So you would, you'd complain about it.

Speaker 5 (05:55):
There were several Christmases that she would walk away crying
because I just don't sugarcoat things I never have and
I'm like, I don't like this at all, and she'd
like go in the back room and cry. But this
is when I thought Santo was.

Speaker 1 (06:11):
Yes, yes, yeah, And so I'm just saying.

Speaker 5 (06:14):
It out loud, like, oh, I don't like what Santa
got me?

Speaker 1 (06:16):
Yeah got you?

Speaker 5 (06:17):
Little did I know it was her that was buying
me these things?

Speaker 1 (06:20):
Oh my gosh.

Speaker 5 (06:21):
But I remember there was a couple of things I
asked for and she gifted them to Anna.

Speaker 1 (06:28):
Heard a different story earlier this morning.

Speaker 3 (06:31):
Oh boy, okay, she would gift she would give you.

Speaker 1 (06:35):
Remember that, well, sah, I guess your life wasn't so bad. Yeah,
how you doing, I'm good? Are you good? Nica? You
ever fake it when somebody gives you a bad gift? No?
Absolutely not. What do you do? I tell them?

Speaker 6 (06:54):
I got the young member of the car beat you
put on your seat back in the eighties every taxi
driver film when I was twenty two.

Speaker 1 (07:02):
Years old from my aunt. Would you say to her?

Speaker 7 (07:05):
I didn't like him?

Speaker 6 (07:06):
And then then she got me a picnic set. At
that time, I wasn't in the picnic, But now I
would accept the picnic gift.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
That's funny. I like by the way that you're one
of the You're you're a woman that speaks your mind.
I always know when Chelsea's taking something back because it's
not how she like. If I get her something that
I know she likes, Like if she gets a like
a nice purse or something like that, and I know
she likes it, she immediately takes it to the bedroom
with her. The other one just kind of sit out
on the colgy.

Speaker 4 (07:37):
That's how West is here, Like he can't and he'll
just tell he'll be super honest with me, Like I
think I got him something last year. It was a
vest from a story that he really likes. But he's like,
I'm not a I'm not a vest guy. So I
knew it was going back.

Speaker 1 (07:48):
I always ask gift for seed? Please? What's going on, Brittany?

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Hi?

Speaker 8 (07:53):
So I my husband, we've been married for twelve years now,
and I was with him for two months and I
had met his grandma and she had given him one
of those crocheted wreath ornaments. And for me, she gave
me a bottle of hand sanitizer.

Speaker 3 (08:17):
Oh my god, rest in peace?

Speaker 8 (08:22):
Granted.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
What's up, Jeane? How you doing?

Speaker 8 (08:28):
Hi? And my mom gave me a heatd linket two
years in a row and knew that I was going
through hot flashes.

Speaker 4 (08:34):
And I had to play it off all night.

Speaker 7 (08:39):
And immediately I traded with my sister for slippers.

Speaker 1 (08:44):
I like that you could have sisters, you know what.
I would have gotten her a curt and of cigarettes.
What's going on, Katie? How you doing?

Speaker 9 (08:51):
Dan?

Speaker 8 (08:51):
Good? How are you all?

Speaker 1 (08:52):
We're doing fantastic? What was the fake excitement you had
to pull? And what was the gift yeah.

Speaker 6 (08:58):
So my dad travels a lot and one time he
brought home on a traveling visit a very bright blue,
very horsetinged western embellished shirt. Was so proud of it
because I like the color blue, and I am not
an honest person. So I did wear it quite a
few times so that I did not hurt his.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Feel You know what. That is so sweet of you
to do that. That's that's love, you know, put it
on and let everyda Yeah, you know what. And honestly,
dads just don't know. That's the thing.

Speaker 6 (09:29):
You don't.

Speaker 1 (09:30):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (09:31):
No.

Speaker 1 (09:31):
The My favorite is we do this thing in our
house where we did it when the kids were younger.
I'm not doing it now because it will cost me
too much money. Where I would take them to the
mall and I would say to them, you guys get
to pick a gift out for each of you guys,
and then you get to pick out a gift for
your mom. And the gifts for their mom were always like, honestly,
things that made them made me think to myself that

(09:52):
my my wife needed Jesus. It was always like crosses
and like they always you know, like something religious or whatever.
And then the gifts that like Luke would buy for
his older brother, would be games that he wanted to play.

Speaker 4 (10:06):
So it was always with Lucent Smith this year, and
I swear Lucy got Smith what she actually wanted so
she can just steal it from his room.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
But you can tell you that's how beautiful it is
as a family that you know that you can all
share it too, Olivia, what's up?

Speaker 3 (10:20):
Hi?

Speaker 7 (10:20):
First time long time? I a couple of years ago,
similar to Mojo I had. I was for a long time.
I lost a lot of weight. I was an extra
extra small. My mom got me a Christmas present of
a four extra sl sweatshirt.

Speaker 1 (10:38):
Oh my god, and you're an extra extra small. Yes.

Speaker 7 (10:42):
And I was complaining all year that none of my
clothes at Fitney, and I was like, I really wanted
to be clothed at Fitney. And that's what I opened
up Christmas morning.

Speaker 1 (10:51):
Yeah, I will tell you this. I never make the
mistake on clothing size for Chelsea. I always go in
and find her clothes. Yeah, Megan, what's up?

Speaker 8 (11:03):
The first time? Long time?

Speaker 9 (11:04):
He my h at then time boyfriend. We had been
together for nine years and he I opened my Christmas
gift and it was an electric toothbrush, and if you
already know how I was feeling right.

Speaker 7 (11:21):
But it was a nice toothbrush, the.

Speaker 9 (11:22):
Oral be But then he dropped out on one knee
and pulled out that beautiful ring.

Speaker 1 (11:30):
That's great, but he was telling you brush your teeth
before he asked you to marry him.

Speaker 9 (11:36):
I mean, you know, it's a great toothbrush.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
I still have it.

Speaker 9 (11:40):
It's going strong.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
I love it. Well, congratulations to you. You know what
Shannon got last night as a gift. There are children
in the studio about this. Let me talk to you
a little bit off here.
