Speaker 1 (00:02):
All right. It is the Slightly Messy Podcast, the podcast
that me and Mike formerly on Mojo in the Morning,
now co hosting my own show on the B ninety
three Morning Show her weekdays in West Michigan or on
the iHeartRadio app at B ninety three dot com. Who
is basically doing this on my own now after my

(00:25):
co host kind of retired from radio, and I decided,
you know what, I want to keep this going. I
want to talk to interesting guests. I want to have
people in my life on the show. I want to
I want to have strangers. I want to have people
in the community, people in the business. And today my
co host is my six year old son. His name

(00:47):
is Milo, and Milo, what do you want to be
when you grow up?

Speaker 2 (00:53):
A podcast? Through videos video?

Speaker 1 (00:57):
A YouTuber podcaster? Right? Oh? I told you that I
would support you in whatever you do. That is my
truth to you is I was always kind of told
what I should do, what I should do when I
get older. I should be this, and I should be this,
and I should I don't want to do that with you.
I would rather you decide what you want to do

(01:20):
and chase your dream, because that's what I ended up
doing myself. Okay, okay, So I told you that last time, right,
and I told you we had to practice. So this podcast,
which can be heard on the iHeartRadio app or wherever
you get podcasts. Also, it's on the Morrow Mojoe platform
and you can follow the socials at B ninety three

(01:41):
dot com, Mojo in the Morning and on air mic
on Instagram. This entire podcast is going to be hosted
by my future YouTuber podcaster storyteller Milo Michael. All Right, yes, sir,
all right, Milo, talk to me. What do you want
to talk about today?

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Uh, Harry Potter?

Speaker 1 (02:03):
You want to talk about Harry Potter? What do you
want to talk about Harry Potter?

Speaker 2 (02:06):
Oh? Like, how like how does he like stay alive
when something goes into him that it's actually not supposed
to go into him. It's very weird.

Speaker 1 (02:17):
It's very weird. Now are you uh? Are you saying
Harry Potter because you can see Harry Potter in the room. Yeah, okay,
Why don't we start off by you just asking your
daddy questions.

Speaker 2 (02:33):
Like, what is your favorite thing about Harry Potter's daddy?

Speaker 1 (02:37):
Good question, all right, you're going down the right path.
My favorite thing about Harry Potter is that the first
time I watched it, it felt like it was taking
me to a magical place that I had never been before.
And it felt like you were you don't know this word,
but it felt like you were immersed, which means it

(02:59):
felt like it was real life. And I forgot that
I was doing whatever I was that day because I
felt like I was in the Harry Potter world. What
other questions you got for me?

Speaker 2 (03:08):
Oh? What is your favorite character in Harry Potter?

Speaker 1 (03:13):
Ooh, okay, so we're gonna stick with the Harry Potter
theme here. I would say my favorite character in Harry
Potter is probably I like Harry, but I also love

(03:34):
I love Valdemore.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Well, my favorites are Harry Potter and Hermione.

Speaker 1 (03:42):
Yeah you like Hermione?

Speaker 2 (03:43):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (03:44):
Okay. Why don't we talk about Why don't you ask
Daddy stuff like about his personal life, not about the
characters that you're seeing on the wall here?

Speaker 2 (03:52):
What is your favorite light? Well? Growing up to to
be on a B ninety free channel?

Speaker 1 (04:00):
What was my fa I'm not sure I understand what
you're saying.

Speaker 2 (04:03):
Ask me again, what was your favorite thing to be
on the B ninety three channel.

Speaker 1 (04:09):
What was my favorite thing about being on the B
ninety three channel. Yeah, my favorite thing is probably the atmosphere.
Is probably the creativity that I am a freedom that
I have given it is the encouragement to be creative

(04:30):
and be myself. It's always been to be myself. But
this is a more family focused daddy on this show.
And that's also part of Daddy's life that I've never
got to explore. I've always has kind of been a silly,
joky joke. Guy. Do you like it that your daddy's
on that channel?

Speaker 2 (04:47):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (04:48):
Do you have very much?

Speaker 2 (04:49):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (04:51):
How much do you get to listen to daddy?

Speaker 2 (04:53):
Ever?

Speaker 1 (04:54):
Yeah? What do you think when you hear your daddy
on the radio that you're awesome?

Speaker 2 (04:59):
Is dad in the world world?

Speaker 1 (05:00):
Yeah, well that's pretty true. But what else do you think?
Do your friends know that Daddy's on the radio?

Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yes? And what like Amante's old school teacher and my
t K teacher actually know that we're on a newspaper.

Speaker 1 (05:20):
Oh really? What did they say to you about it?

Speaker 2 (05:24):
Is that that whoa you are so famous? I think
they said that. I don't remember because it was a long, long,
long time ago. Oh.

Speaker 1 (05:34):
Well, so, I don't know if we're famous, but we
it's pretty cool that we got to Uh, it's pretty
cool that we got to be a featured family in
our hometown. Huh.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Yeah, that's totally right.

Speaker 1 (05:50):
So if those of you who don't know who are
hearing this for the first time, I live in a
city called Hudsonville in West Michigan, and they do this thing,
and they do it in a lot of other cities too.
It's not just Hudsonville where they feature a family and
they put them on the cover and then they interview
them about a bunch of stuff. And we got asked
to be the November cover family, and so we got

(06:13):
our pictures taken and within a couple of days in November,
all of a sudden, we started getting texts and people
started saying stuff at school and they were like, hey,
we saw your family on the cover and it's a
really well written article. I would love to get the
article part of it posted. I just haven't had a
chance to do it yet, so I think that'll be
that'll be pretty cool. Do you are there times that

(06:37):
maybe you don't like your daddy on the radio?

Speaker 2 (06:42):
No, there are not any times I don't like you
on the radio.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Never you say it like I'm interviewing you, all right,
Why don't you ask me more questions? H what is you.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Do? You'd like that you are on a lego? Like
you are a lego?

Speaker 1 (07:03):
Do I like that I'm a lego? So you're just
looking at things around you now? Yeah? So the kids
made me a Lego figure and I got to put
it together for Father's Day. That was one of my
favorite presents. Do you have a favorite present that you got?

Speaker 2 (07:18):
Uh? My favorite present would be is being with you guys.

Speaker 1 (07:25):
Little ham that's a good answer. What do you What
are you asking Santa for for Christmas this year? Oh?

Speaker 2 (07:36):
I don't know.

Speaker 1 (07:37):
You don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:38):
I forgot you know? Well, I know I want Nintendo Switch.

Speaker 1 (07:42):
To Nintendo Switch too.

Speaker 2 (07:45):
And I also want a like that hamster ball.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Oh, the magic Bitsy hamster Ball? Yes, okay it thoes
are solid choices.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
And the Harry Potter Buty and the Dino by those
are a lot of bitsies.

Speaker 1 (08:07):
What else do you want?

Speaker 2 (08:08):
And gooey gooey gooey goo.

Speaker 1 (08:10):
Oh what's that?

Speaker 2 (08:12):
It's like something that's very gooey and it feels like putty.
But it's actually slime. People say it's slime. I don't
know about it looks really really fun.

Speaker 1 (08:26):
Yeah, you are my child that pays attention to all
the ads. When we got don Dish show, what did
you tell.

Speaker 2 (08:34):
Us the better grease getter, he's.

Speaker 1 (08:39):
The better grease getter. That's right, that's right. And when
you see T mobile ads, do you get signs? Do
you get excited? I can't, you gotta talk to the microphone.

Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yes, very much.

Speaker 1 (08:54):
Yes, you are my only child. And I don't know
where it came from or how it happened. I think
because there aren't as many commercials as there used to be.
There used to be tons of commercials. When I was
a kid, you always saw them, and you always like
went to the bathroom and didn't pay attention to it.
And all of a sudden, commercials kind of came back

(09:15):
into streaming services, so my son and kids are seeing
them for the first time. You get excited about the ads.
Do you have a favorite ad?

Speaker 2 (09:22):
Oh? Probably gooey gooey, gooey gooey.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
Yeah, and that's yeah. Yeah. I could literally say something
around you like don Dish soap, and you go, oh,
it's the better grease getter. I love how much you
love ads. All right, so more questions for Daddy. You're
the host. You ask the questions. Don't look at stuff
around me. You want to ask Daddy questions. So the
goal here is we probably should have had something specifically

(09:49):
we're going to talk about, but I wanted to let
you host, and you should have asked Daddy questions around that.
Don't look around the room because you're just gonna ask me.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
I'm just looking at you.

Speaker 1 (10:00):
I want you to ask me anything you want about me,
maybe something that you've always wanted to ask me, but
you've never thought to ask me until right now.

Speaker 2 (10:08):
Daddy, did you Mommy and old Kat did? They used
to play fetch?

Speaker 1 (10:15):
They did. How did you know that?

Speaker 2 (10:17):
Oh, Mommy told me that a long, long, long long
time ago.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Yeah. His name was Tucker. It was before you were born.
He used to play fetch with ear. I used to
work in a factory and you had to wear ear
plugs in the factory, and I used to throw the
little ear plugs and he'd run and chase him and
bring them back to you. It's pretty cool. Yeah, that's
an interesting story that you remember. What other questions you

(10:41):
got for daddy.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Uh oh remember that time when we went to Macanaugh Island.

Speaker 1 (10:49):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (10:51):
And I also do you remember the time when we went
to Florida? We got to say somewhere and I got
a microphone as a TV?

Speaker 1 (10:58):
Yeah? You think you remember that room for a Yeah?
I hope you do.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
And Daddy, I I actually I wish my room actually
has TV so when you wake up you can just
start watching TV and YouTube.

Speaker 1 (11:13):
Yeah. So oh, speaking of YouTube, Uh, you said you
wanted to you wanted to be a YouTuber slash podcaster.
Now let me ask you a question about that. Okay,
why what is the reason you want to be that for?

Speaker 2 (11:32):
Because then if I get one hundred and fifty thousand lugs,
I will give everybody, uh some like, I will allow
them to come to my house or literally podcast of me.

Speaker 1 (11:50):
Oh really? So do you have any podcast YouTuber favorite
hosts that you want to be?

Speaker 2 (11:57):
Like craft an half Mouth, because I remember that when
we're Crafty falling down the stairs.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yeah. What is the other one that you like? Mister
I don't know what's his name, alf Male, No, it's
mister something, mister Beast. Yea you like mister Beast too?

Speaker 2 (12:19):
Why do you like mister Beast because he's so nice?
He sometimes he gives people money.

Speaker 1 (12:25):
Is that what you would do if you had a
billion dollars?

Speaker 2 (12:27):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (12:27):
What would you do? If you had a billion dollars?

Speaker 2 (12:29):
I would give it to everybody that's poor.

Speaker 1 (12:33):
You would, m Yeah, you would help those in need.
That's very kind of you. Wouldn't go by yourself with
a bunch of nice stuff.

Speaker 2 (12:42):
Yes, I would, and I would also, I would, and
I would also if I bought some money and someone
that would poor just came up and and I and
I and I couldn't come, I would give him so
my food.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
That's very nice of you. That's uh, that's what you
should do with if you are able to do it.
It's very very nice to you, buddy. So, if Santa
was to hear this podcast, don't yawn into the microphone.
If Santa was gonna hear this podcast, we'll end on this.

(13:17):
We'll make it a quick one. If Santa was going
to hear this podcast right now, if I send it
off to him, what are some reasons that you would
say to him that you were good this year and
you and to try to convince him that you needed
a nintend to switch to what did you How are
you good this year?

Speaker 2 (13:37):
Pretty good? I'll be pretty pretty good.

Speaker 1 (13:41):
I think you were very good. But how what? What
things did you do that you would say you were good?
Give me examples, like gotta hold the microphone to your mouth?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
Okay, Like.

Speaker 1 (14:02):
What about the big chunk of your hair missing on
your forehead?

Speaker 2 (14:05):
Oh yeah, I remember, I cut it off.

Speaker 1 (14:07):
You just did that like a week ago. What did
you do good? Though? You've been a good boy this year. Uh,
You're always a good kid.

Speaker 2 (14:17):
But I love you, daddy, I love you too, Buddy.

Speaker 1 (14:23):
Do you have something that you would sell Santa? You
you've been really good at this year.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
I'm really good at caring for people. A green Manta
got hurt. I came for him.

Speaker 1 (14:36):
That's the most important thing in the world, buddy. Do
you know what Christmas is about?

Speaker 2 (14:42):
Being nice and sharing?

Speaker 1 (14:44):
Sort of? Yeah, that's a really good answer. Christmas is
about giving presents to others, maybe receiving a present, and
it's all about family. It's the season forgiving and the
season for spending time with your family. Those are great answers, Dude,
I think you've been a really really good kid. I
think saying that's gonna be real good to you. No

(15:05):
call for milove this year?

Speaker 2 (15:09):
Yay? Right?

Speaker 1 (15:11):
What would your podcast or name be? And then we'll
get off the podcast.

Speaker 2 (15:15):
I think goob be Milo, half half mal half crafty.

Speaker 1 (15:22):
So what would your name be?

Speaker 2 (15:23):
Then? Crafty alf Mal?

Speaker 1 (15:28):
All right, buddy, any more questions for daddy before we
get off the podcast?

Speaker 2 (15:33):
Uh? What would be your favorite new name?

Speaker 1 (15:38):
My favorite new name for what? Uh?

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Like the best name you've ever renamed?

Speaker 1 (15:45):
If I could rename myself, what would I name myself?

Speaker 2 (15:48):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (15:49):
Oh that's a tough one. Price spaghetti Jones or Booker Breath.
I don't know. I never thought about it. I never

(16:10):
thought about it. What would you rename yourself? Harry your HPJ,
Harry pylor yeah, you got a hold the microphone in
your mouth. Do you know why you have the name
that you have?

Speaker 2 (16:23):
Yes?

Speaker 1 (16:23):
Why your name's Milo Michael.

Speaker 2 (16:27):
Because eight rhymes's chilo, because it rhymes the child.

Speaker 1 (16:35):
What's chilo?

Speaker 2 (16:36):
It's like another name, but it has a J and
a weird letter J and then you put together to Giloh.

Speaker 1 (16:47):
You think that's why I named you Milo Michael. You
don't think it's for any other reason. No, do you
want to know why your name Milo Michael. Yes, I
thought I told you this. I'm pretty sure I did,
but you probably just don't remember, or you're just being
silly right now. Your middle name is obviously daddy's.

Speaker 2 (17:05):
Name, right, yeah, Michael Michael.

Speaker 1 (17:09):
Did you know my middle name is Michael too.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (17:11):
So we're almost the same right.

Speaker 2 (17:13):
There, right, Well, we just have different names.

Speaker 1 (17:16):
Yeah, so your first name is Milo, daddy. But so
the your name, if you say it fast, if you
say Milo Michael, mylo Michael, it sounds like my little Michael.
So anytime when sometimes when parents have to like get

(17:40):
their kids attention or maybe scold them or something, or
say their whole name, they'll say mylo Michael or mylo Michael, egula.
So I knew that every time I went to say
something to you, no matter what mood I was in,
I would always have to say the phrase my little Michael.
And to me, that was a gentle reminder of that
there's a little Mikey in Milett. There's a little Mikey,

(18:03):
There's a little Michael in there. And so that's why
your name is Milo Michael. All right, my little YouTube
or my little podcaster let's go watch a movie. Call alright,
love youbody, good job,
