Creighton was a better team from beginning to end, no question,

team makeup resembles recent champions. The numbers prove it out.

like the past eight national champions. In short, these cats

NCAA champion primarily relinquishment relied on freshman starters. With Villanova's

We saw a lot of their flaws when they played

it's hard to come back against. Will coach Keems, Creighton
is a well soarch team that can hit shots. They
have one of the best big men in the country
that will give Jani Broom problems. Even though he's an
ap All American. I say it. I don't believe he's
an All American in my opinion. Everybody's like, well, look

at his numbers, don't. I don't like his numbers. I
really don't. It's just they're yes, they're impressive numbers. He's
after in double doubles. He say he's having twenty and
ten and the hardest conference in basketball, So that will
be the first thing that they say about him. But
you look at the stature and how hemounts up and
when he really plays, I'm just I don't see it.
He's he's an undersized center who's not athletic. He stressed

It gets a lot of shoot the three. He can
shoot the three, but he has to to be at

louis season, because they did have a great season considering
what they've been through the last few years. But the
two shiny things that they held up to the committee
on their resume was we beat Clemson twice. Well, as

you see, Clemson didn't make it to the end of
the night first day of the tournament. What we have,
what we have left in the n c Double A
is a victory over North Carolina, who was basically forced
into the tournament in the playing game. That's that's who
Louisville has beaten. It's in the NCAA tournament at this time.

So all all the wine and the crime complaining about
the seeding. I mean, and and boy the numbers they were,
they were underseated, but it appeared yesterday that they weren't
underseated in that game if you looked at the game
for what it was.

When Louisville played outside of the a SEC, they were
not successful SEC four times, lost all four games Big East.

the season. I've seen some of their good games. I
see some of the games they didn't perform. But for
a single elimination game like this, they might as well
might even showed up to the tournament as an eight
seed or a nine seed. It looked pointless, thing like
they didn't even want to be there.

that point, I would have selled them out for a
different team. I think some of the teams that didn't

between these eight and nine seeds have been terrible.

NCAA champion primarily relinquishment relied on freshman starters. With Villanova's

That's the formula beat Louisville. And they don't have a

We saw a lot of their flaws when they played
against Alabama State. They struggled in the first half. There's
certain games where you can struggle and you can still
straight by and you can still win by fifteen or
twenty points, like they did in the round of sixty four.

But farther on in those rounds, you start playing those
eight to nine seeds, some of the sixes, even the
eleven seeds. If you come out and your Laxaday's cool,
it's hard to come back against. Will coach Keems, Creighton
is a well soarch team that can hit shots. They
have one of the best big men in the country
that will give Jani Broom problems. Even though he's an
ap All American. I say it. I don't believe he's
an All American in my opinion. Everybody's like, well, look

at his numbers, don't. I don't like his numbers. I
really don't. It's just they're yes, they're impressive numbers. He's

ten and the hardest conference in basketball, So that will
be the first thing that they say about him. But

when he really plays, I'm just I don't see it.
He's he's an undersized center who's not athletic. He stressed

me tell you something. If you watched that game yesterday,
as coach, as most people, Creighton had the floor spread well, Jerry,
those were wide open looks.

I mean, in fact, they missed several at the beginning
of the game, or it would have got a way
sooner than it did. They averaged right at one point
four points per possession. That's the recipe for disaster in
college back the book. I mean, you can't give up
forty nine points in the first half and think you're
gonna win a tournament game. It's just that usually doesn't work.

I mean, at least we've got a high pirate up
and so I do think that Creighton is very well coached.
In fact, I think McDermott out coach Kelson yesterday. I'm
not gonna lie about it.

He spread the floor very well. They were able to
get pretty much the shots that they were wanting out

certainly can't get beat by Creighton. I'm not sure I
expect that. Going back to some of the other games
you were talking about, Gonzaga was a solid seven and
a half point favorite over Georgia, So that's not like
that was something surprise to anybody. But now let's talk

about what we've been talking about all year. And I'm
not coming on here to rain on the parade for
louis season, because they did have a great season considering
what they've been through the last few years. But the
two shiny things that they held up to the committee
on their resume was we beat Clemson twice. Well, as

you see, Clemson didn't make it to the end of
the night first day of the tournament. What we have,
what we have left in the n c Double A
is a victory over North Carolina, who was basically forced
into the tournament in the playing game. That's that's who
Louisville has beaten. It's in the NCAA tournament at this time.

So all all the wine and the crime complaining about
the seeding. I mean, and and boy the numbers they were,
they were underseated, but it appeared yesterday that they weren't
underseated in that game if you looked at the game
for what it was.

I mean, the fact of the matter is this run.

When Louisville played outside of the a SEC, they were
not successful SEC four times, lost all four games Big East.
That's what lost the game, and three of them were
by double digits and double digits the whole way. So
I mean, the facts are the facts. The league must improve,
must improve.

That's where I was going next to say, you know,
yes the league was down, but it's not like Littleville
didn't have opportunities. They played Tennessee, they played Old Mess,
they played Oklahoma, they played Kentucky, they played Duke twice.
All those were losses, and yesterday they played Crety. So
it's not like they didn't have opportunities to beat good
teams during the year at sometime. Yes, a lot of

Gonna talk about, obviously. I think the big one that
no one's talking about is the good Zaga Georgia game.
That game was a little start finish Day goes on
a twenty seventy three run in the first half and
they're already down twenty five points and they never closed
that gap within an inch after that. And it was
for the Georgia Bulltalk Drors teams I've seen play throughout

the season. I've seen some of their good games. I
see some of the games they didn't perform. But for
a single elimination game like this, they might as well
might even showed up to the tournament as an eight
seed or a nine seed. It looked pointless, thing like
they didn't even want to be there.

Would make moves, didn't hit shots. It's just like at
that point, I would have selled them out for a
different team. I think some of the teams that didn't
get in. I people hate me. I think I you
would at least played them harder than that. They might
have lost, but it wouldn't have been a thirty point
blow up between eight and the nine seed, the eight
and the nine seeds. The gap benferential in the scores
between these eight and nine seeds have been terrible.

Well, I'll go with the North Carolina game because that
was shocking to me. It almost looks like a different team.

State, in San Diego State. I've watched them this year
in San Diego State, just not as slash. They can
really play ball, but North Carolina took them out of
everything they wanted to do, They moved the ball, they
played well. I mean, Jerry, it looked like a totally
different team that came out of there than what we've
seen play in the Act all year long.
