I was younger. But I've been a couple of coach
cal practices. Obviously I've met his son before. I think

coach cayl is I think he's a phenomenal person. I
know a lot of people give him, give him a
lot of the lot of the little bit of the
cold shoulder, just because his coaching doesn't always come up
the standards what people's expectations are. But I think even
outside the coach and I still think he's a great guy,

He might not be the best exes and TH's coach,
but he does prepare kids for the next level. It
helps him be successful, so that I will give him

vacate Louisville is because some of his stuff that he
was doing off the court as well, and there was
a big factor for the decision that you had to

It's It's all I can say is it's NCAA tournament
a heck of a time. It's it's something that just

It's just game winners, exciting upsets like it's it's just
the thrill. It's the atmosphere of the NCAA tournament is unmatched,
and I think it's better than any other event that
goes on. It's better than the NBA Finals in my opinion,

It's better than the super Bowl because it's just not
one game that you're sitting there depicting on. It's a
whole tournament. There's different matchups going on, different conferences and things.
The biggest thing I like seeing is matchups that you
don't see on.

So you see teams that don't normally play each other.
You see matchups that kind of make you wonder and think,

for the first time. So the NCAA tournament brings out
the best in a lot of players, and it gives
young kids, high school kids, even older guys now the

uh reevaluated where they place people so that you're not
playing uh you know, interconference rivals real early or you know,
you don't meet as many as you going to trying
to get to the final four. So so when I

saw that we got to play Tennessee for the third time,
I don't I think three times, yeah, three times, but
when it goes to four times, I think that's when
it gets ridiculous. So I'm not afraid of playing Tennessee
three times. I think we got a great match up
against them. I mean I think the way we match
up with them, I think.

found out. Who I was a big fan of Saint John's.
I just felt like offensively, they just struggled a little bit,

Tennessee for the University Kentucky.

cal practices. Obviously I've met his son before. I think

coach cayl is I think he's a phenomenal person. I
know a lot of people give him, give him a
lot of the lot of the little bit of the
cold shoulder, just because his coaching doesn't always come up
the standards what people's expectations are. But I think even
outside the coach and I still think he's a great guy,

vacate Louisville is because some of his stuff that he
was doing off the court as well, and there was
a big factor for the decision that you had to

I actually like after last night, I kind of like
Old Miss that. I mean, I think everybody was a
little surprised last night. But Michigan State's really good. I
thought New Mexico played him as bad as good as

I thought, you know, with Richard's resources, et cetera, et cetera,
I think he did a great job at New Mexico,
And you know, played him extremely well first half. I
think Michigan State just had a different level player that
showed up late in the game, and you know, he
just couldn't. You can't close the game like that. So
but but I actually think Old Miss they're not Michigan

State's not gonna show Old Miss anything they haven't seen.
So I like Old Miss.

Florida, Marerica.

Yeah, I like Florida. I think Maryland's good, but they're young,
They're a little young. I don't think they're quite as
deep as Florida. I do like Willard. I think he's great.
He'll have him ready, he'll have a great game plan,
But I just think Florida's gonna be a little too
much for him.

the only smartest guy. He didn't have quite the team

of the game to win. But if you're gonna, if

in foul trouble. So if Texas Tech's one of those

I don't even know who the coach is at Tech.
I couldn't tell you anything about that.

why you likes to run and shoot the three? Well,
they getting ready to find out another level of that
of that philosophy when they got Alabama, Yeah, they're gonna
run out. I like Houston. I mean they got both
sides of the ball. I mean, you know, coach Sampson

I think is just amazing. I like the way he coaches.
I like him as a person. I like what he
stands for.

You can see it's ingrained in their guys. They're not

So I think they break. I think they beat Purdue,
and I like, I genuinely like Kentucky against Tennessee.

the NCAA and when it brings out for the players,
even with the coaches. I mean, you know Rick Matino
and Cal was fired up to play one another. That
that was allow. I just and I love the women's
game has come on so far and they're doing a
fantastic guy. I just, I just, I'm I'm spell bound

by the NCAA Basketball Championship. I don't know what it
is about it. Like Andy said, we go it just
spells bout you by the great things you see by
the upsets, by the wins, how the players take it.
I love the look coach that came in when his
little boy and said, you know, we lost this, but
we hope to be back again. I mean that as
episode they did on the coaches who lose. I thought

that was fantastic.

It's It's all I can say is it's NCAA tournament
a heck of a time. It's it's something that just
you couldn't write down and make up if you tried.
It's just game winners, exciting upsets like it's it's just
the thrill. It's the atmosphere of the NCAA tournament is unmatched,
and I think it's better than any other event that
goes on. It's better than the NBA Finals in my opinion,
(38:48):
It's better than the super Bowl because it's just not
one game that you're sitting there depicting on. It's a
whole tournament. There's different matchups going on, different conferences and things.
The biggest thing I like seeing is matchups that you
don't see on.
Speaker 5 (39:00):
A regular basis. That's the best thing.
Speaker 6 (39:01):
So you see teams that don't normally play each other.
You see matchups that kind of make you wonder and think,
you know, how's the outcome gonna come a game? How
are they going to match up against this team? Different
play styles coming to factor, and obviously different coaches meeting
for the first time. So the NCAA tournament brings out
the best in a lot of players, and it gives
young kids, high school kids, even older guys now the

opportunity to make a name for themselves and.
Speaker 5 (39:24):
Go out there and shine and turn into superstars. Jee.
I think that's the most important. One and done. That's
what I love about it, The one and done. When
I go home, baby.
Speaker 4 (39:33):

I go home. Guys, tomorrow, we're gonna start out George
and yeah, you already know this, but I'm gonna give
everybody my editorial on coach Danny Hurley and George. If
I hear anything no more hypocrites on the sports radio.

Have I hear anything about players behavior and what we
should do to players? And colors are always wanting to
jump on players. Coach Danny Hurley is off the chain
needs to be dealt It needs to be dealt with, George.
