I needed the rain. My bushes and trees and grass

Some days I'm like, I think he's overwatering the grass.
He might just be killing it.

At this point, Anthony Milliard's a cement streak. I haven't
overwatered that grass at all. I'm just trying to keep
the live grass that playing it alive. That's all, Just
trying to keep it alive, Anthony. Out front, you don't
want your yard looking two big bear spots. So people understand.

play grass eat, you gotta water it are the young

playing when I was playing. I know a lot about him.

Pleasure Edge Park High School and his life story is fantastic.
I went on to Alabama to play college. He was
there during some trying times, which I'm not going to

make sure that you all listen. And it's so funny.

his son and his sons direct for a pleasure rich Park.
His kids are all teachers and done so well. He's

So we got a lot going on. Obviously. One of
the big things we want to get into it, obviously
we talked about it a few months ago, is the
big trading of Luca Donald's still Los Angeles leepers for
Anthony Davis. Now he is supposed to be a new
look Lucas. Now he's finally slimmed down, lost weight, changed
his guy completely around, and no sugar gluten free. He's

looking swim again. You think that's gonna be a big
difference making for the season coming up.

Speaker 1 (06:16):
I think you will be Anthony. It's the first time
I've ever seen him look like a real athlete. He's
a player. Now, Let's don't get it twisted. Luca Doc
just can play. He is skilled. He's not an athlete
running around jumping over people, Anthony. He knows how to play.
He can put the ball on the floor. He can
manipulate you off the dribble, he can shoot the mid range,
the step back, the float, or the three. He can

catch and shoot off the pass and off the dribble.
He's skilled. He just wasn't in condition to play top
flight basketball in the entire eighty two games. That was
his whole problem. Now, he did take the Maverage to
the finals. I want people to understand I'm not new
knocking Lucas ability, but long term, I still agreed with

the trade. I wouldn't have put three hundred million into
that body. I didn't say it to his skill set.
I said into that body. So I agreed with the
trade with the Mavericks. But he is talented, really talented.

Aw I like that answer.

I don't disagree with you, and I think I thought.
I thought it was still a good move at the
time too. But if Luca can get in shape and
stay in shape, I think it'll be a win for
the Lakers.

We say three hundred million going into Luca's body, but
at the same time, Anthony Davis's body isn't much better.
He's still an athlete, but he breaks down left and
right like a bad car.

I know. But see, let me just give you this
my knowledgy on that. Yes, as soon as he got
to the Mavericks, he went down. I was disappointment. But
he's got more tread, he has more wear on those tires.
Luca's young in his career and missing tons of games.
That's frightening. Early on, Davis was able to play, but
as the years wear on, Anthony, that sport is unforgiving

your knees and hips and the ankles. Guys, it's a
lot of pounding. All ex players know. So that's why
I'm only giving Luca a little now, I mean Anthony
a little break. I do want to see Anthony get
healthy and play this year. I think the Mavericks this year,
they've got Cooper flag. If they can get your boy
Kyrie back, if Anthony stays healthy. With the casting characters

that they have, I think Dallas is going to be
really good. I really do. But I'm only giving Anthony
a break. Anthony. It is because he's played a long time.
Luca's breaking down. I haven't been in the league long enough.
Just all theirs to it. He had to get serious
with his body. That's all.

But the bottom line is the coach still thought enough

and I had to be ready and available. The best
skill in the NBA, Anthony is availability. Don't ever forget

We got a lot, obviously, I know the big news
that a lot of people if he had any if
he had any news going on, or even the ESPN
at every one sol the shooting that happened outside the
housing league's headquarter in New York of the NFL, that
was the big news that was going on yesterday. I
kept getting notifications of it on my phone. So the
National Football League employee was seriously injured in the shooting
Monday at Midtown Manhattan building that houses the NFL offices

in some of the country's top financial firms. Firms Commissioner
Roger Goodell said in a memo to employees, four people,
including off due to New York City Police officer, were
killed and another person was critically wounded in the shooting
at three four five Park Avenue, and authority said one
of the employees was seriously injured in this attack. He
is currently in the hospital and is in stable condition.
Dale wrote the memo, which is obtained by ESPN NFL

staff at the hospital, and we are supporting his family,
but we believe that all of our employees are otherwise
safe and accounted for, and that the building has nearly
been cleared. Thedale said the memo that when he would
wrote increase security presence at the league's offices in the
days and weeks to come. He said employees based in
New York should work remotely on Tuesday or could take
the day off obviously. Well, we don't know the motive

behind this. We don't know, you know, what was the
real cause of this incident other than you know, I
just think this and this another another lost soul out there,
just kind of just doing random things and it and
it sucks to see it because it harms others and
puts others in harm's way. That you know, you know,
it's just bad place.

They said again that the gentleman I'm not saying his name.

It was all over the news last night. But he
had a mental illness anything. We hear this quite a bit.
He had a mental illness, and he had a concealed
carry license. He walked down Midtown Manhattan. Everyone's been to

New York. Everyone just think about walking down midtime Manhattan
at four forty five in the afternoon with an M
four a rifle in your right hand. I mean, guys. So, yes,
we're pulling for the person that was shot that works
for the NFL, and he's in stable condition, and all
we can do is pray, Anthony, it's just another I

don't know, Anthony. I have no answer for this, and
we're not going to get an answer for this from
our leaders and politicians. We're not, so I don't know
what to say anymore. Beating a dead horse Anthony, that's

Anthony and before America makes a decision on the gun violence.

All you have to say is term limits for House

of Representatives, Congress, senators. We're in great shape. It will
never happen. They're thieves. It will never happen. The easiest
thing in the world. Term limits, eight year term limits period.
It will never happen. They're robbing us, blind and smiling

be change, very simple change. Let me explain something to people, Anthony,
why it doesn't happen. Because when you're the people that
are in power want to keep it and the people
that are out of power want to get it. So
it's a flip flop. Now Republicans in power, they're happy,
Democrats will get back in power, they'll be happy, and
then the Republicans will be upset. So everybody is lobbying

and paying to stay because Anthony, the longer they stay,
the more lobbyists we have, the more control companies have,
they will be able to buy our representatives, which they do.
They are filthy, all of them. And we stay the
suckers in the game. We're the ponds on the chess board.

I'm telling you, the ponds, and it seems like we
love it. I mean, we relish being the ponds on
the chess board when it wasn't written to be that way, period,

On the National News is we did want to talk
about the John Sanders of his battle but he did
beat bladder cancer, which is a good sign. He talked
about it as apork. Yesterday in the afternoon, the University
of Colorado coach Dioonn Sanders announce money that he underwent
surgery to move remove his bladder after the doctor discovered
a tumor there. SAMs said that since the surgery there
there had been no traces of cancer and that he

will continue to coach this season. And the crazy thing
is he didn't even know it, they said, even through
the entire infl draft from Bond Shallow Shador, Sanders and
Travis Hunter never even knew about the issue going on.
He didn't know himself either until he went and got
checked for an exam. And he kept on saying the interview,
saying that men just go make sure you get yourself
checked out and that you stay healthy. And most people

will ignore the doctor and try to avoid the doctor
because you know it's not always the funnest place to go.
But as you get older in your years, and even
at younger ages, things can come up and appear randomly.
No matter if you think you're in the best shape
of your life, or even if you feel like you're
healthy and you're active every day, it does not matter
when it comes to certain things like that, they just
pop up. They really do.

I'm gonna tell you this. I've got my annual physical
next month. Doctor Wheeler Brandon Jay Town. I mean, he's particular,
he's the best. I tell everyone you can't take him
from me. But you need to find a doctor that
you trust, that you know it's going to look at
all the details for you. Your health is your wealth.

Make sure that you take the time out to take
care of your health. That's all that I can tell people.
And make sure you find a doctor that you can trust, period,
point blank. That's the key. So yes, So I'm happy
for Dion. I know they're going to open up. They
play Georgia Tech anything I think August twenty nine on ESPN.

back issues. I got a real good friend of mine

really getting in there with a couple of those things. Obviously,
another thing that is random Kyrie's Halliburton did proposed to
his girlfriend last night, so we got another paper getting
ring up there.

Congratulations, But I'll be like, I did give him a
hard time, you know, I did the only reason why
I did is just because of the inconsistencies I saw
sometimes That was the only thing for me.

It wasn't the skill set. I liked how he played.
The reason why I say that because he plays more
like me. He likes moving the ball, getting his teammates involved.

Easier on himself to score in a lot of games
because he's not the main focus of attention all the time.

Without the ball.

He doesn't need the ball all the time. But sometimes
it was too passive aggressive, and I felt like I
was the exact same way sometimes to where I feel
like he should have had the ball more and been
a little bit more aggressive. In the games that he did,
he produced and he showed up that he could be
more than just an all start. He could be a
superstar and carry his team to where they need to go.
And I think that he approves from there coming off
his injury. It won't be this season. It will be

next year when I see him bad.

I think we'll bass back and recover the way he plays.
I hate to say it, I don't think that Keelees
even mess with his play style because he's not a
great super above the rim player anyways.

to his sin. He plays below the rim, he says
subreverl he does things the correct way, and Anthony, I
just hated to see him go down because when he
was playing at the level that he was playing, the

to seen that game with him playing the entire game,

on right away. Anthony, I wanted to watch that game,
but we'll have to wait and see that matchup could
happened two years from now. Shay gooodis Alexander is ready
to go, and we'll have to wait for next year.

Championship ring, but he got a more important ring. So congratulations,

want to explain to people Louisville scheduled this year so

of Louisville would do and how it will fare in

there is to it. Now. The Big Ten has won
the last two championships Anthey, Ohio State, Michigan. We understand that.
But other than that, the SEC rules the roost. So
when you're looking at the ACC and they're coming out
of their media conference and they have their predictions of
the order of finish and you start to look at

Louisville's schedule, I just want to go through this with
people and tell people why it's important that Louisville almost
has to run the table. Guys, they really do because
of the league's strength last year. First team this year
is Clemson. They say they're going to bounce back. Clemson
is a perennial power, Anthony, Clemson has won national championships.

When Clemson's good, they're as good as anybody. They're as
good as Alabama, Georgia. They could have played in the
SEC and they would have defeated the SEC teams. They
were that good. Jamis, they were very, very very good. Okay,
So Deshaun Watson, we understand that. We understand when Florida
State was good with Jameis Winston. We understand University of
louis with Lamar Jackson, my guy. But we have two champions,

Florida State and Clemson. Clemson's won Miami is two. It's
still a wait and see for me in Miami and
crystal Ball. I just you never know what's going to
happen with that program. They have talent. You don't know
if the coach is going to let them down. You
don't know if the undisciplined football players are going to
let them down. We'll have to wait and see if

they can put the whole thing together. But they are
a talented group, SMU. We talked about Rett lastly, the
head coach last week Anthony, when he was speaking about
the SEC was top heavy. He thought the ACC was
a better conference, which I mean, I understand what he
was doing. We were just trying to shock in all
it is not it's comical right now. But their third

had a great run last year. They were able to
defeat University of Louisville lost to Clemson in the championship game.
But fourth is louis Wear Anthony, Louisville is fourth, and
the prediction and the ACC this year, do you think
that's a fair assessment. They're in front of Georgia Tech
that did play Georgia Anthony last year. Really well, Now,

we both have admitted that Georgia had quarterback issues last year.
They did, and they weren't the same offensive as they
have been in years before. Carson Beck did not play
to his ability. He's now in Miami, so there was
an issue. So those are the top five in the ACC.
Do you like those five?

I have to, I mean I have to say that
for now. I know we're going off of last season
half the quarterbacks. That's a weird one. I'm not super
sold on a SEC quarterbacks obviously. The US though quarterback
I haven't seen yet. Carson Back I've seen. We saw
him play at Georgia. He's kind of made a statement
name for himself. Do I think he's the best car quarterback? No,

but in the ACC is one of the better ones.

Yes he is.

You don't go to Georgian and start multiple seasons with
the phenomenal record and just say you're.

A bad quarterback. So no, you just yes, he did,
But he's a quality quarterback. He just had a down Anthony.
It happens. He did have a down year last year.
But no, he is a national champion. He's really good. Well.
The year before they got robbed, Anthony, he lost to
Alabama and weren't able to go to the Constantball playoffs,

which was Anthony, some of the craziest things I've ever seen.
So I'm not going to just whitewash him correct all
the way. I think he's a quality quarterback and I
think he will help Miami if the discipline of the
hopefully the discipline he brings from Kirby Smart's program to
Miami will help that program. Now you blew over Miller

Moss really quickly. Miller Mass Anthony. I saw him play
well against the University of Louisville two years ago in
a bowl game. I saw him lose his job last year.
I'm just not sure what we're gonna get with him yet.
I have to wait and see. It's a wait and
see for me and Miller Moss at Louisville. But I'm
hoping that he's the Miller Moss that played in the
bowl game against US two years ago, played really well, Anthony.

So we'll have to wait and see USC transfer for
any boy coming across the country, I just have to
I'm waiting to see how this works out. I think
Tyler shuck a lot of people. He was so good
for Louisville last year, and I didn't expect that. Not
everyone thinks that you can just go get a quarterback
and he'll be able to step in. I just don't
know if that's true, so we're gonna have to wait

I do like the transfer for Duke, the Tulane quarterback.
He's a top fifteenth quarterback. He was the top fifteen
quarterback in the transfer portals, so I do like him
at Dukes. Haines King showed glimpses of being a good
quarterback last year for Georgia Tech as well. Obviously we
saw in that Georgia game he played phenomenal.

liked that as well. Obviously you got kid club Nick
out at Clemson as well, which I think is probably

touchdowns and two iNTS. And he's playing against Boston College.

downhill slope. But they have quality players on their rosters.
Even for the bad teams. The bad teams in the
