Speaker 1 (00:01):
You have to love the laugh, There's no question about it.
It is August the thirteenth, Wednesday, hump Day, twenty twenty five.
This is Eve Sports Radio Phone numbers five zero two
five seven one seventy nine hundred. That's five zero two
five seven one seventy nine hundred Sports Talk seven ninety KRD.
(00:22):
We've got Shannon behind the glass and we're ready to
rock and roll without a doubt. I'm ready to go.
No coffee, just full of myself, that's all. So let's
bring on my co host who's driving. Got to be
careful out there, Anthony. Welcome to the show. How are you.
Speaker 2 (00:39):
I'm doing great this morning.
Speaker 1 (00:40):
How are you? How's traffic out there? I'm excellent, Anthony.
You know I'm pumped. I'm pumped today. Don't know why,
just that.
Speaker 2 (00:49):
I have no issue so far.
Speaker 1 (00:50):
I'm doing all right. Okay, are you close to Cincinnati?
Speaker 2 (00:56):
I'm almost getting closer there.
Speaker 1 (00:59):
Okay, I got you. Well, we know you may have
to jump off on us, so I'm ready. I think
I can handle it, Anthony. I can fly this shit
by myself. I don't need a co pilot. I've done
it by myself before. I think I can land it smoothly,
but welcome aboard for the short ride, Anthony. First and foremost,
(01:20):
a lot of things are going on. Of course, our contest,
which I haven't spoken about. We're going to start to
get into it. We always have a football contest, you
know that way money. People challenge me, I challenge them.
We'll have that going on, so we'll start to get
the details out on that. That's the first thing that
(01:43):
creates issues. And last year, Anthony, I had as many
women beat me as men. I don't know why. More
women don't try. You all listen, you all tell me,
but you're frightened of the males. I don't know why.
Maybe AC has you all bullied. But the bottom line,
so that's going easy money with Eve Sports Radio. If
(02:03):
you can beat me. So everyone is always killing me,
Anthony on my predictions. I just tell them the step
to the plate. We'll find out. We air it out
every Monday, who won over the weekend, so we'll find out.
We're gonna have about thirteen weeks of contest. So that's
details with that later, not today, but later this week. Secondly,
(02:24):
we got some NFL exhibition football games going on, Anthony.
We got to start talking about high school football in
this area. Can't wait at big games. Of course, we're
going to talk about John Gruden. I'll get to that
toward the middle of the show. But there are a
lot of things that we didn't get to yesterday that
I want to ask you some questions on. So first
(02:46):
and foremost, is this Tom Brady's statue outside of Jilllette Stadium? Answer?
He is the goat. I mean, there's no question about it.
What do you think.
Speaker 2 (02:58):
I think it was I think it was due for
I mean, I think we all knew it was coming.
Speaker 1 (03:03):
I have lost Anthony. Did I lose you to Shannon?
Are you still with me?
Speaker 2 (03:08):
Can you hear me?
Speaker 1 (03:10):
These things happen. So I'm going to proceed until I
start to get notification that I'm not on. I don't
hear Shannon, I don't hear Anthony. I know Anthony's driving,
So I'll just fly by the seat of my pants here.
Let's just start with congratulations to Tom Brady and his statue.
Well deserved. Absolutely the best quarterback to play the game,
(03:33):
the winningest NFL quarterback to play the game. Super Bowls
mean things. That's why I love arguing with people about
who is the best and what quarterback does what? And
what does Lamar Jackson have to do? And super bows
mean things. It doesn't mean you're not a Hall of
(03:54):
Fame quarterback, but super Bowl do mean things. Getting it
done when the bright lights are on is important to
an athlete. That's why, guys, you all hear Lamar Jackson
say he wants to win a Super Bowl. So I
have no problem, great Shan, I have no problem with
wanting to hold a lot of people to that standard
(04:14):
because that's the standard, and I'm a true believer of
that is the standard. That is the reason that when
you get to this level. I'm not saying everyone everyone
doesn't have the God gifted ability. We're always talking about that.
Tom Brady was a late draft pick, fourth fifth round
draft pick. He's still standing six foot five. He had
(04:36):
a rocket arm, had God given ability, guys, and he
worked his butt off. But everyone can't do it. Everyone
cannot do that same thing with all Josh Allen is
trying to get him one, Lamar Jackson's trying to get
him one. Joe Burrows is trying to get him one.
I mean, and I can just continue with all the
quarterbacks that are trying to get the Super Bowl. So
(04:58):
for Tom Brady, for the limited mobility that he had,
he had great ability, he had limited mobility. Congratulations, job
well done, and that is the standard. Tom Brady is
the standard, period for the NFL, and for quarterbacks, he's
(05:19):
the standard. Patrick Mahomes is the standard. Right now. Of
course we all understand he's got a choke hold on
those Super bowls. Now for all the quarterbacks that I named,
but congratulations to Tom Brady and what he has accomplished,
first and foremost. Okay, Shennon, if you want me to,
(05:40):
Shennon just hit me and says let's go to break
and then Shennon and I will do some work at
our end and we'll be back. So it's seven twelve.
We're going to early break. We lost Anthony, but he's driving,
no problem with that. We'll be back after the break.
Welcome back to even Sports Radio seven sixteen. Sorry about that,
(06:01):
just a little miscommunications on my part. Sometimes in my
basement doesn't work as well as it should. So Anthony,
welcome back to the show. Sorry and heard you kid,
hear me, but I couldn't hear you. Tell me a
little bit about what you think about Tom Brady.
Speaker 2 (06:15):
I'm gonna say, well, Matt, guess we're walking and you
back is what we're doing. Yeah, I get out of
that dungeon down there. The connection is getting bad on you.
Speaker 1 (06:25):
Whatever, that's all. You're right. I'll take this one. I'll
take it on the chin. But I did a good job, man.
I still describe what happened. What do you think of
Tom Brady?
Speaker 2 (06:39):
No, I was saying before. Obviously I think that it's
well deserved. And then obviously we knew it was coming.
We just didn't know when it was coming. And with
that being said, obviously we know that he is accolades,
stats and achievements and obviously longevity. He's the greatest quarterback
of all time. We've all known that when you doing
the quarterback top tier charts. He's always been number one
(07:00):
since his last Super Bowl. But even amounting seven alone
as a quarterback is unheard of. Seven coron as a
player is unheard of. It'll come back even and even
a player, I don't know if that'll ever be done
period in an age of so I mean, Jilana, Honestly,
(07:22):
I think even Tampa Bay my own one as well,
because I don't know if the Bucks are ever going
to win another Super Bowl, to be completely honest with you, at.
Speaker 1 (07:28):
Least not for a long time, Anthony, that's the one that,
in my opinion, solidified him as the goat. Everyone knew
that New England had a system Bill Belichick. We know
we'll get to watch him of course with North Carolina
college football this year, but there was a system in place.
Everybody bought in, they understood. But when he went to
(07:48):
Tampa Bay did the same thing. Anton, that was the
one that I said, no more question. I can say
I don't like he's the best position, There's no question
about it. So yes, that statue is well deserved. And
I can't wait. College football, Pro football's here, Pro football,
(08:09):
exhibition games are going on. College football is around the corner.
Can't wait, Anthony, just can't wait. But we cannot forget tomorrow.
The BMW Championship starts Anthony, August fourteenth through seventeen. K
Valley Golf Course. Of course, that's an on Maryland outside
of DC, right outside of DC. I've ridden by that
(08:31):
course numerous times. What do you think justin rose back
it up was the fuck you win.
Speaker 2 (08:42):
We're gonna see if he can't.
Speaker 1 (08:44):
So it's top fifty, Anthony top fifty. It went from
top seventy to top fifty.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
He did, he made a move, and he made a
push that you need to advance on to that next
round of Fatis Cup Championship.
Speaker 1 (08:55):
I think I can't hear. I think we've lost Antony
a little bit. Shannon, can you hear a Mersey, I've
lost it. The guys he's travelings just know he is
the one driving. So anyway, we do have the BMW
Championship going on and it will start tomorrow. Justin Thomas,
local kid Odam County is doing an excellent job competing.
(09:17):
He's starting to get his game back rounding out. So
we're happy for that and make sure that you'll be
watching that tomorrow. That starts the fourteenth and gonna be
a lot of competitive golf. I don't know if it
can capture what happened on Sunday with Justin Rose and
JJ spond. I just I don't think that we'll have
(09:38):
another playoff like that in quite a long time. I
just don't. Thirty foot birdie puts made, eight foot birdie
puts made on top of it, pressure put after pressure
put great shots. I mean, and Justin Rose's ball that
did not bounce into the hazard into the water. How
lucky was he on that first drive? It had it
(09:59):
all so again and starting tomorrow, and that's what we've
got going on. So make sure that you're tuning in
to the BMW Championship. I know you don't like watching golf,
but guys, you need to get into it. It's something
you can play as an old person with your family
and it's enjoyable. Now here's the deal. We're seven nineteen
(10:19):
and this coach Beer and I spoke from of Gote
all day yesterday about the Jay Gruden situation. I'm not
going to get into that just yet. I've got a
few other tidbits I want to touch before, but I
do want people to understand at that seven point thirty
when we come back, you know, we're gonna have a
(10:40):
little serious conversation about the Gruden situation and winning in
Las Vegas court system and how words can be deceiving,
how words can be deceived. And I'm going to just
give it to you straight again because we've always guys America,
my friends, my white friends, my black friends, that we
(11:02):
thought we had grown by and got away from all
the racism bugs not here, the homophobic bug's not here.
We're pet No, we're not. So I'm going to read
to you the comments from a professional football coach that
of his teams are African Americans and coaches and let
(11:22):
you hear the thought process over years. What he is
suing about is what I'm going to explain to you
what he went on and let you all understand exactly
what's going on with this. We're going to do that
at the seven thirty. But it just makes you go hmmm,
because we all want to say, oh, there's no more racism.
That's a lie, guys, is just a lie. I'm going
(11:44):
to prove it to you. Some people don't want to
know the truth though they don't. But we're going to
talk about that at the seven thirty mark. Before then, though,
with what's going on with college football, and there's issues
but this college football and how they're going about paying
(12:04):
for the players, how the television money has been broken
up throughout the schools, what the conferences are going through
trying to disseminate the money to the teams, to the universities,
and we see the shuffling cards, the shuffling sands that
everyone says. So the ACC, which I've been preaching to
(12:32):
you all, had major issues, has tried to solve its problems.
So the ACC came up with the formula after Clemson
in Florida State brought lawsuits against the conference to rectify
what they think is the discrepancy and the money. They
(12:53):
wanted more money so that they could compete against the
Big ten and the SEC. So they found a lawsuit.
And the ACC is fighting itself. It's like your immune
system in your body when it goes astray, so it's
fighting itself. Well, that's what was transpiring in the ACC.
(13:13):
So they came up with a formul which I want
to read to you all what you an'll know about.
With this TV thing that I told Anthony and George
about quite a long time ago, it troubled me that
the athletic directors agreed upon this because it'd be very
hard for a Louisville market to compete with the eyeballs. Anthony,
(13:34):
being young, tried to argue with me early on, say no,
Louisville had some of the highest rated ACC games. I said, yeap, true,
and that they could be in the top tier to
receive that sixty percent of the money. I said, not true.
So we're starting to see the numbers are coming out, guys,
(13:54):
and it's going to be very, very very hard the
city of Louisville. Almost every TV's going to turn on
the Louisville place. It's important so that they can receive
more of the money. It was in the paper a
week or so ago. The reason why it's important is
another benefit of playing the top opponents for Louisville. The
lawsuit brought against the league by Clemson in Florida State
(14:16):
led the ACC to change its revenue distribution model. It
now splits where sixty percent will go to a pot
got me that is distributed based on five year formula
of viewership ratings. I didn't like that when I heard that.
I didn't like that where Louisville sits fiftieth to sixtieth
(14:40):
in the cities as for viewership, I didn't like our opportunities.
So that was like, I know, no. A lot of
people said here in Louisville, Oh, we watched the Cardinals,
will do great. Guy's Atlanta is huge. Georgia Tech is
acient programmed. They are, but they don't have to be
because there's just more people to watch the games. I
(15:01):
didn't like our numbers. It's a numbers game as always,
so I was like, I didn't like to hear that.
And the remaining forty percent is said to be evenly
distributed and distributed amongst the other participants. So, guys, sixty
m Louisville trying to reach that sixty percent plateau, It's
(15:24):
gonna be hard to do so. In the same article,
Louisville's football brand isn't strong enough to stand on his own.
It needs to play meaningful games against meaningful opponents to
get eyeballs. Okay, yes, I agree with that. The Cardinals
game against Clemson last season was the seventh most watch
game of Week ten, drawing one point four to three
(15:48):
million viewers, according to sportsmedia watch dot com. Okay, the
game against Clemson last year the seventh most watch game
of Week seven, drough one one point three million viewers.
According to sports media watch dot Com. Their game against
Miami trailed only Georgia, Texas and Alabama Tennessee and Week
(16:14):
eights ratings got me. Those schools had four point seven
million viewers. Let me say this to you again, Texas
and Alabama excuse me, Georgia and Texas and Alabama and
Tennessee and Week eights ratings were four point seven million viewers.
(16:34):
Louisville's against Clemson was one point four to three viewers.
So what I'm saying to you is that, and what
the article is saying is that Louisville must most watch games.
SEMU tied for tenth highst viewership. Well, Dallas market is huge. Yes,
SMU was good last year, but they don't have to be.
People still in Texas watch SMU. I lived in Dallas.
(16:55):
I lived a mile from SMU seventy five, lived on
Love and SMU was probably a half of them. Hole.
I could jog to their basketball stadium and their football field.
I could job. They're easy. There's so many more people
to watch those games. So it's a setup. It's really hard.
(17:15):
So Louisville fans, it's imperative that you turn your televisions on.
It's imperative you have your Kentucky fans and Kentucky's not playing,
have them turn their televisions on. It's imperative because it
is an arms race and you need the money. So
they came up with the formula. They said, if it
was a five year period. As of a month ago,
Louisville would have had the eighth highest rating, which would
(17:37):
not have put them in the pool of the sixty percent.
That's all I'm trying to say to you. That would
not have put them there with the success that coach
Brahms had. Think about this now, the great teams he's
had the last two years, great teams, great records, the
great quarterbacks, Jack Plumber, Tyler Shuck, I mean NFL quarterbacks.
(17:58):
We're hoping Miller Moss can fall in line with that.
You got a turnover issue with some of his interceptions,
and he's been having that issue out at Louisville right
now through two interceptions in the last open practice. So
coach Ron's working on that, of course. But he's got
a strong arm. He's talented. But will he be able
to fall in line and do what the last two
(18:18):
quarterbacks have done and will coach Ron be able to
turn him into a pro quarterback. We have to wait
and see. But it is imperative that we turn on
our televisions and help support Louisville in these games so
that they can be in that top tier of sixty percent.
Because guys it's all about the money. The NCAA has
(18:39):
always been all about the money, and that is the
major key to a successful college program. Guys, how many
eyeballs of what your television ratings will do to what
it will bring to you. Especially when Louisville can start
to draw in that fifty thousand range if possible, and
(19:00):
have a higher TV rating, the greater possibilities they'll have
to try to get into a big ten or an SEC.
And right now, guys, those two conferences are strranging to
squeeze everyone. I mean, they've got their foot on everyone's neck.
They do. They're in control of college football. They're in
control of the money. They know that, and it's going
(19:23):
to be imperative that when they do say we're going
to increase our leagues and add teams, that louis was
in position to try to make that move, that's all.
So I wanted to make sure we cleared that up.
And what has to happen for Louisville to be successful.
And guys, that's a big leap from eighth to the
(19:43):
top four or five. That means you have to outdraw Atlanta,
you have to out to draw Dallas, Texas. It's hard
to do, guys, Florida State. No matter how good are
bad they are, they're a brand name. Got me Miami again,
guys at the top ten market. So Louisville, we're gonna
(20:05):
do our job to support the University of louisll football
Cardinals so that we make sure that we receive our
share of the money. Because team wise, coach Brom is
putting Louisville in the top four, and he'll do it again.
I think this year, I think they'll be in the
top four teams in the ACC. Job well done for
coach Brom and his players. Now, Cardinal fans, you have
(20:26):
to step to the plate. So guys, we're at seven
twenty nine. We're gonna get to break. We lost to
Anthonybody who's traveling. We want him to travel safely when
I come back. We're going to do. I'm gonna explain
to you all why you must read the details before
you start to jump up and down and beat your chest,
(20:47):
say what somebody should do or which I'm gonna read
to you on John Gruden, if you listen to his
lawyer boyd lawyers. I got a lot of good lawyer friends.
With my goodness, their terminology. The victory further vindicates coach
Groupon's reputation. Well, I'm just going to read to you
(21:08):
what he said, and you all will be able to
for yourselves make your decision after the break. This is
Esports Radio. OH numbers five zero two, five seventy nine hundred.
We'll be back in a minute. Welcome back to the
sports radio. Sorry for the inconvenience. I reset everything in
my computer, my phone, it's on my end. It's just
(21:29):
one of those days with computers. Sometimes they work, sometimes
they don't. But welcome back to Esports Radio, and I
apologize to everyone. Now let's get back to it. Of course,
everyone yesterday heard about of course we all know about Gruden.
Coach Gruden, John Gruden, the quarterback whisper, the quarterback coach
all the ESPN shows. He did a great job, great personality,
(21:52):
communicated with the players so well. We thought, we thought, guys,
everyone knows. Maybe everyone doesn't know, and maybe everyone didn't
have my upbringing. We all make mistakes. I understand that,
especially me. I was bad. I took sodas out of
(22:12):
the soda machine. I was bad. I did things that
I knew I wasn't supposed to do I mean that
parakeet on my shoulder. I knew I was doing wrong.
I did wrong. Got me. But again, as you grow
and as you mature as a person, you're supposed to
get better at these things. Coach Gruden was a grown man.
(22:35):
It's homophobic, massogynistic statements are unbelievable. And in our country
we do like to say we're past that. No we're not.
That's a lie, but we like to say it because
it makes you feel good. Honestly, that's all makes you
feel good until you see what comes out. Let me
(22:58):
just explain to you, well, what the lawsuits about his
lawyer and I mean his lawyer exact statements. The victory
further vindicates Coach Gruden's reputation. Lawyers are good at what
they do. Guys, you got me. That's comical because I'm
going to read to you word for words. You have
(23:20):
to hear it. You have to hear it. Sometimes you
have to hear the truth. It is what it is.
So yes, all the talking heads were going through their
scenarios and there were a few women that were on there.
Just uh, stephen A came up within his idea and
someone else's mad dog had his idea, And there were
(23:43):
a few of the women sports reporters that were just
not hearing it. They were like, you know, now, we're
not hearing it, period point blank. He spoke about everybody
that wasn't a white male. He spoke badly about just
being honest with you. Now, guys, everybody. So when you're
(24:05):
listening and you're getting soundbites about what's going on in
Las Vegas and what is the lawsuit about, I just
wanted to explain it to you so that you all
would understand the real details first and foremost. And there
were emails that were sent forget that were leaked. I
love that they were leaked. No, he sent them. He
(24:28):
sent them, period point blank. He typed them, he sent them.
You got me, they're his all that they were leaked
to damage you. No, he damaged himself as a minority
in America. It's comical what we hear he spoke about.
(24:50):
Let me just tell you again, everybody that wasn't a
white male, period, didn't mean it. Every every group, every athleticity, everything,
female referees, guys, we've spoke about bad referees for fifty years.
(25:13):
Now we're gonna touch the NFL did what a disgrace.
Get out here. We have spoke about bad officiating for
seventy years. Let's just be honest. But the female women
refs did it? Get out here? Gruten's a bum, bottom line.
I don't know why people, it is what it is.
He misled people. So on Monday, always eleven, twenty five,
(25:39):
Las Vegas Supreme Court sided with former Las Vegas Raider
head coach John Gruton has lawsuit against the NFL. Gruton
is currently swinging the NFL and league Commissioner Roger Gurdell,
the Legend League team, the media, racial homophobic, misogynistic emails
the Gruden sent the former Washington Commander General Man Bruce
(26:00):
Allen between twenty eleven twenty eighteen. Guys, if you don't
think that's a long enough time frame to lose your
job again, it's almost what transpired here in Loeuisville. You know.
It was like as a minority, we are here, guys,
minorities do live in America. I'm sorry, it's like, really,
get out here. Oh, yes, he talked about one of
(26:22):
his players for niel and during the national anthem. Yes
he did, got me, Yes he did. He talked about
people's lips being big as Michelin tires. I'm gonna read
it to you, then you read or if you hear
the stap shot again his lawyer, The victory further vindicates
(26:45):
get away from me, you all. We're in a bad
place right now. That's all there is to it. What
the lawsuit is about is he's saying that there's other
emails and other people out there that have said disparaging
things about people. Hm. So Jerry Eves, who did say
(27:07):
a couple of days ago, Guys, let's don't say the
Schador Sanders things is about racism, because we're past that.
I'm taking that back. That's a lie. I passed that.
What he is saying is that there are other people
out there with his thought processes that weren't brought to
the light. That's what he's saying. Everybody that's saying word
(27:29):
past racism, they don't do that anymore. It's not in America,
Are you kidding? It's not true, you all. I'm just
gonna read it to you. People to be turning off
their radios saying that I'm lying. Guys, nobody wants to
know the truth, not anymore. Don't tell me that's not
what I want to hear. What I want to hear
(27:50):
is what I tell you. That's just abottom line. Jay
Gruden went to Georgia's training camp. He wants to coach
in the SEC. He wants to coach again. He wants
to lead young people. Okay, okay, maybe he's learned his lesson.
(28:16):
But how do I know that? Why would I know that?
And why should I even care about that. Let's just
start so you understand. He said about Commissioner Roger Gardell
anti gay slurs referring to the commissioner Roger Gardell. He
said the NFL should not pressure teams to draft queers
(28:39):
like Michael SAMs, called Michael SAMs out by name. Okay.
He blamed Roger Gurdell for hiring female officials, saying that
they were ruining the game. Guys, we've complained about officials
for seventy years when ninety percent of them were white males.
(29:00):
You got me, just you all America. Boy, where we
are today is just he's off the chain. But nobody
wants to hear the truth. And we know we have.
My dad complained when he watched the games in the
sixties when Joe Nama beat the coats officiating. They were
all white males. People complain cardiac cards when I was
(29:24):
playing in the ube percent white official males. But now
that there are female officials, he had a comment about
that too. Like I told you, he spoke about every
group other white males. But his lawyers just said he's vindicated.
Let's continue. The players represented, the players rep the NFL
(29:51):
Players Association executive director Marie Smith, a lawyer. His lips
are the size of Michelin tires. These are in his emails.
He sent these vindicate my eye must be crazy. The
issue is which I agree with him on one point,
(30:12):
just one is that there are other other emails that
he's saying. Why is he the only one? NFL don't
want you to know the truth. That's all. That's the
bottom line. So now that we're growing through it, Eric
read by name kneeling during the national anthem should be fired.
(30:37):
He should be fired. Let's go through the national anthem
for you all, and then I'm gonna get to break
Shannon and we'll finish after that. All I want to
tell you is that I'm gonna explain to you all
the national anthem and what transpired and how this was
so they were being paid for the flyovers. Guys, the
(31:00):
US government was paying them. But we're going to talk
about it after the break. This is the Sports Radio
seven forty four. Poll numbers five zero two, five seventy
nine hundred. If you disagree, call, I'll give you a time.
But the bottom line is these are his emails. He's
not vindicated, No, not at all over a seven year period.
(31:27):
That's not a good person period. If you can't say
it to their face. My dad always told me, don't
say it, so now leak, leak to make me look bad.
Now you are bad? What what happened to accountability in America?
(31:49):
Seven forty five is the Sports Radio. We'll be back
with the National Anthem. I just want to explain to
you all what really transpired and how the money was counted.
After the break, Welcome back to Eve's Sports Radio seven
forty nine. Again, thank you all for sticking with me
through my issues in my basement. Channon does a great
job like always, but let's get back to the task
(32:12):
the national Anthem. Guys. I played sports my entire life.
I went to sporting events, watching my older brother play
at Seneca High School, University, Kentucky. My entire life. When
I mean my entire life, my entire life. A lot
of coaches did it differently. In high school. We would
go in right before the national anthem. I know, because
that's what I would use the bathroom, Try to get
(32:35):
yourself together. We'd say our Lord's prayer inside in the
locker room, Go get our last instructions, go back out,
warm up, get called to the bench, starting lineups. We
go play. Got me. University of Louis we handled it
that way. Also during some of the tournament games, they
would tell us the requests to be out during the
national anthem. But guys, it wasn't always that way. What
(32:58):
happened is the NFL got the US government to pay
them for flyovers. So when their planes flew over and
we saw the red, white and blue and all the
patriotic great stuff, the owners were making money. Fact, they
were getting paid. I don't have any problem with that.
(33:18):
I just want you all to understand where all this
patriotic stuff came from. They were getting paid. So then
at that time the NFL said, excuse me. The federal
government said it'd be nice if you had your players out.
Got me. So when this happened. So then teams started
requesting for their teams to line up during the national anthems.
But it was about money, Senator McCain. You're all knowing,
(33:41):
great Senator Republican said, was the one who brought this
out to lights. And you know we shouldn't be paying
football owners for flyovers. Just fight you again, telling you facts.
So don't just beach chess over this national anthem. And
the kneeling not kneeling, they used to not be seen.
There would have been no kneeling in some of the
(34:02):
games because the teams aren't even out there. But you know,
don't forget Eric Allen should be fired for it. Coach
Gruten said he should be fired for it, but he
shouldn't be fired for his statements. Yes, sometimes you have
(34:22):
to be accountable for yourself. Steven and everybody said, second chance,
I'm with that. What happened to be an assistant coach?
What happened to work anyway? Back up the ranks, it
says a coach at a low level, prove to us.
You have to now because your trust is gone. No
I don't trust him, guys, I'm not No, I do
(34:44):
not trust John Gruden. Why should I period, point blank?
Why should female officials think that he's truly going to
evaluate them fairly? Come on, now, why should they? Why
should the commissioner of any lee think that they can
negotiate with him not knowing what he's saying by and
(35:04):
closed doors, stabbing him in the back, talking about appearances.
Don't forget now, guys, the size of micheline tires. Come
on now, Sometimes we don't want to hear the truth,
do so. The one thing I do agree with, I
do I like to know who else sent out those
(35:25):
kind of emails. We know about the Washington owner. We
understand they have to force him out. So the statement
Jerry said two days ago, taking it back, there is
racism in the NFL. There's racism in America still today.
It's a lie when he said it's not. It's apparent
and it's showing itself. You know, when it shows itself,
(35:45):
people hate. When it comes to light. There starting to
be lawsuits. You have lawyers. Again. The victory further vindicates
what did vindicate. The only thing it's saying is he
wants the other people that said dispiriting remarks about minorities
to be heard. That's the victory, that he was being
(36:07):
crucified out there by himself. Okay, he should be, and yep,
I do want to know the rest. So she door
stand's going in the fifth round was some bs. We
all know it was. It was period. It's the best league,
(36:28):
in my opinion, in the United States now the world soccer.
I understand soccer, but I live in America. It's like
I live in Louisville. I went to Louisville. When things
happened at Louisville, I speak about them more because that's
my alma Mada. Well, I don't talk about soccer that much. Guys.
I'm not into soccer. I grew up to where soccer
was huge. The NFL is huge. So in my opinion,
(36:49):
the NFL is the best run sports, best moneymaker, best competition,
and the most entertaining. But we got some bad people
running that league. That's what he's saying. That's the vindication,
not that he's perfect. The vindication is that I was
the only one put out there. I wish all the
(37:12):
emails were put out, so do I. So do I.
But I don't think, guys, do we truly think that's
gonna happen. There's a Super Bowl winning coach. I understand
that when he was with the Raiders, he was twenty
two and thirty one. Didn't mean he won everywhere, Guys,
he wonted Tampa Bay. He said he won with Tony
(37:34):
Dungee's team. I don't believe that he won because he
was a good coach, but at the same time, he
was twenty two and thirty one with the Raiders. Thank you, Shenny.
So I'm just gonna ask you all one pertinent question,
last thirty seconds. Where's Chuck Persons African American coach got
in trouble? Where's Andre McGee, African American coach got in trouble.
(37:54):
We're all my African American coaches that get in trouble.
We're their head coaching jobs. Where did they pop up?
Oh they don't do they h Just food for thought,
That's all I'm saying. It's just food for thought. Sorry
for the issue shedding. Great job today, Eastwards, gut will hey,
put a smile on your face. You're not fully dressed
(38:16):
without one. Love you, Bye bye.
