never felt that way about Wednesday, but a lot of

my youngest son, Anthony is working today so he can't
be on with us. So I went and got one
of my reject assistant coaches. Oh excuse me, one of
my assistant coaches. I didn't say reject one of my
golfing buddies that I'm gonna bust when I come to
watch Louisville play Miami week six of the football season.
I want to bring on the one and only Scott
Bulwage to the show. Scott, are you well?

of our former coach k the other day. We were
just talking about how self it was working for some
guys and some coaches, and how how these coaches nowadays

in for stealing money as a coach, but the bottom
line is, there is no way players shouldn't get paid.
No way, Scott. It's a billion dollar business. Billion dollars.
You got scrub coaches. I mean, honestly, scrub assistant coaches,
the fifth or sixth on the bench making three hundred
thousand dollars. Scot, Come on, man, I mean, like you say,

community development, It's like what, that's what the head coach
used to have to do, Scott. I had to go
out and speak at ID. It's like what, it's a
great world. I'm telling you what a great business that
we've been a part of. That's why I tell everyone.
No one will tell me players shouldn't get paid. No ad,

a joke. So but we've been part of this business. Guy,
it's been a lot of fun. What a great run.

My contest starts next weekend. We've got huge games next weekend.
I mean Texas, Ohio State, come on, Scotti, Notre Dame, Miami,
come on, Scotti, Clemson, LSU. I mean, those are three

One thing with the big conferences, that's the one thing
I love with those big conferences. Now almost every weekend
you're going to have two top ten teams going at
each other.

from coaching and everything. I don't want to say pacing yourself,

his retirement yesterday and we were talking, we were before
the show, and I think he's probably one of the
more underrated guys because he played on just a bad
team most of his career. Yes, and you know when
you when you have those guys that you know have

his talent and they play on a bad team, they
kind of get overlooked. But then you watch some of
his highlights and you're like, man, that boy could play.

Time in Kentucky, you know, the little time he had
at Kentucky, but then going into the league, the size
that he was at a point guard and the things
he could do. His athleticism was you know, I would
say this, you know, underrated and overlooked as a player.

Yes. Well, Scott, we watched him in high school, so
of course we got to watch him grow and he
was phenomenal. Then when he went to University of Kentucky
he really started to blossom. But Scott, you talk about talent.
You talk about speed, quickness, athleticism, I mean Rocky Rod
Foster was fast with the ball. He was not even
close to John Wallen close Fox, he is fast with

the ball. Fox is fast with the ball, but he's
still not John Wall. John Wall was another level Scott.
It's god. He just was unfortunate and played for the Wizards.

could get in it in a tuxedo, in your wife's

nice cars. But Chuck Kane, Billy Hayes's general manager, said, Jay,

It Chuck went and found me the best truck in
the country for the right price. My twenty twenty two
had twenty two thousand miles and every option that came

y'all need to give Bill Hayes, a town in country

Wright would have made the NBA, Honestly, in today's era.
Poncholl Wright was more talented than Derek Smith. Derek just

to slow their role, let the team develop, let them practice,

to be a failure if they don't make it to

he has a bad game, I can reach him on
his Instagram and tell me that he was terrible last night, right,
you know, So that's true. It's a different type of
pressure that these kids have nowadays that they have to
live up to.

with that, But Scotty isn't everything relative? When I was
playing the newspaper every day, the magazines pictures in it,
Coach Beard didn't get that kind of exposure, but he

at University of Louisville shopping during Christmas, people were yelling
at me in them all to get back in the gym.

people say it is more I but aren't the kids

start out two and seven in this day and age,
then you'd have people that are out again in LA
and Washington who are Louisville alone that could reach out
