(01:40):
hear anyone. Anthony. Are you with them? I don't think
so let's continue. I will try again. Guys, you'll just

(02:01):
Radio for the second time this morning. Things happen, guys, computers.
It is August twenty second, twenty twenty five. It is Friday.
We do have a cast of characters. I'm gonna get
to them now. Rick. Let's please bring Anthony to the show. Anthony,
where have you been the last two days?
Speaker 3 (02:21):
I've been working real man's job, like Uncle Pop to
to day. You know, I'm only one working in this
house right now. Then I saw our numbers dip too.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
See.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
I cracked a funny joke on the first time and
I came home, but nobody heard me.
Speaker 4 (02:33):
So I shot down.
Speaker 3 (02:34):
My own confidence with it. But I'm gonna say it again.
I saw the numbers dip Wednesday and Thursday. I know
That's why I know my presence was missed.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
You know I got you, Okay, Well, your presidence wasn't missed.
I truly I didn't tell you to go in the corner.
I didn't. I told people you were working. So you see,
your presence was missed and welcome back. We got to
bring on the other guy, though, we really do, Rick,
bring on the other guy, please, Rick. How are you?
(03:09):
I mean, George, how are you? Oh?
Speaker 4 (03:12):
I'm doing fantastic.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
I'm not.
Speaker 4 (03:14):
You know who he's talking to. You know he's talking to.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
I really don't.
Speaker 1 (03:19):
This morning started bad. I've been up, George, I've been
up since five fifteen.
Speaker 4 (03:23):
But I like what you said, and I agreed with you.
I thought that was true. The rating did fall. I
can't check them on myself, so low and I said, oh,
Lord was going in the.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Ground, going to the gutter, straight to the gutter. Oh well, guys, well,
I appreciate you all coming back to uplift Shaw. I
got no problem with it, guys, I really don't. I
picked great teammates at Louisville. They made me look good,
so I suckered you two. You two make me look good.
So I got no problem with Jerry.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
Jerry, you should have called a.
Speaker 1 (03:57):
I don't do that. Don't do that, Jersey, he will.
Don't do that.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Guy. Now you know he said he shows in the
gun without him, Without he could have had him for
two old days. Louisville would have loved it.
Speaker 1 (04:16):
They would have killed me. George. He emailed me yesterday.
He's on vacation in Michigan. I'm being honest. I'm being
dead serious with you in vacation and ac emails me
all the time. And I want people to know the
nicest young man, never anything negative. I want you to
understand he crazy, but never is he. I'm telling you.
(04:36):
He just let me know. He said, your tribal chief
is in Michigan. That's what he told me, George. I said, thank.
Speaker 4 (04:44):
What about what about New Jersey? Jaed we lost him
in Canada, we lost him in New Jersey. Now he's
in Michigan.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
You know George, exactly. We don't know where a C is.
Hey telling you the truth. I'm gonna turn a C
on the rhyme. I'm gonna give a here's your production man,
that would be great. So look, George, Anthony, we've got
a lot going on. We really do all kind of news.
(05:14):
So I'm we're on throw to Anthony first to get
a little national news, George, and then I sent you
the artinerary, George will Ticket. Wherever you want to go.
Wherever you want to go is where we're going to
go with it today, So you'll be second up, Anthony.
What's going on? Please start with George Williams Central High
School beat down with Manu tonight. Please start. I'm sorry, George,
(05:34):
I didn't mean that.
Speaker 4 (05:35):
Well, wait, a regrouping this year. I can accept that.
A fantastic running back. He graduated after every three years, Jay,
you have this, you know, and so this is our
year to regroup. This is our regroup year. I think
y'all had one last year.
Speaker 1 (05:48):
Right, but your dog not. You know, we're killing me.
I defeated Mail last year second round of the playoffs.
Y'all keep killing ruins. No, I put the bulldogs under
just want you to underst in that. And they're supposed
to be bouncing back this year, George Bulldogs. They're coming
back with a vengeance. High school sports here here, Yeah
they are. Everybody's looking for broad Nation.
Speaker 4 (06:11):
Why is that? What if you have a one?
Speaker 1 (06:13):
Jared Well? Football wise is a little slim in Georgia.
Excuse me, Wise, it's a little basketball speak with you
all you.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Want, but it's not football season, Broka, football season.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
Lou Anthony, go ahead, start with that first game ant
the high school game game week.
Speaker 3 (06:37):
Yeah, we're kicking all the high school games this Friday. Finally,
also some college football as well, which we'll get you
later in the show, but we do got Central will
be taking on Manual at seven thirty to night. They'll
be playing at More High School for this game, so
they won't be playing at either home even you'll be
paying at.
Speaker 4 (06:51):
A neutral site.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
I think it plays an advantage for Central, you know,
I think the Central. I think a neutral site.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Helps a little bit.
Speaker 3 (06:56):
I think if you played at Manual it'd be a
little bit tougher, but it does saying I think I
think I think mister Winnings read the paper this morning
saying that they are in a rebuilding mode. He says
that in the first intim.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Read the paper. George, no, no, no, no no, I
just knew that. I followed them last year, and now
I've seen all the talents go out last year and
our fantastic running back. He'll be planning to geinst the
University of Louisville. Uh, coming up pretty uh this first
game this year he went to Eastern Kentucky.
Speaker 1 (07:23):
So you know, congratulations, Yes, cool, go ahead, Anthony Rolie.
We're not George. Will it be a running clock? What
would the score beating? That's all I want to know.
Speaker 4 (07:34):
Give me your Well, we we haven't had many running clocks, Jay,
and we're playing up, so I don't think we'll have
a running clock. I think we'll come back and bounce
back and play a game. I mean, I do think
it's favorite manual this game. I won't lie about that,
because when you got a young team, Joe, you gotta
go through the pain going up.
Speaker 1 (07:51):
But George, I got that. But you know what, if
you tell me you're playing up one more time, competitors,
don't say that. You're suppna say we're gonna get manual.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
Well, last year, I'm a I'm a realist.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
Year.
Speaker 4 (08:01):
I'm not a fan. I'm a realist, you know what
I mean. I know what the game is about, you
know what I mean. So I give Manue that credit.
If we get Manual, the manuels in trouble, real trouble.
Speaker 1 (08:12):
Real trouble. Okay, con real trouble. Continue is pretty good
this year, George.
Speaker 4 (08:20):
So yes, they're good at you pretty much and we
see and.
Speaker 1 (08:24):
Honestly, congratulations to Manual High School. I was watching the
news this morning at five and then the number one
high school in the state of Kentucky reading, Oh, yes, yes,
we're talking about the real scores. They're doing excellent. So
congratulations to Manu High School. We have to go back
for another Simmons College game day, but congratulations to Manual
High School. Great, great job academically here in the state.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Every year the academically silid now yes, yes, nay, one
top in the nation, in the country.
Speaker 1 (08:53):
So going at what else do we have?
Speaker 4 (08:54):
Who else is playing?
Speaker 1 (08:55):
Who else is playing? About my brilliant.
Speaker 3 (08:57):
Yeah, we got other teams off the ski overall teams
here we do.
Speaker 5 (09:01):
Got Pike will at Christian Cabney night at seven thirty
as well, which I did look down the paper. They
said for the star juniors in the top fifty of
the state, Christian Academy of Louis has the number one
junior wide receiver in the class.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
In the state, Johanna Brown. Honestly, I wasn't expecting that
to come from Christian Academy. I'm gonna be completely honest.
No offensive Christian Academy fans out there, but they have
not been good at sports when I was in high school.
Speaker 1 (09:22):
Even before they were, they were pretty good.
Speaker 4 (09:27):
They are back.
Speaker 1 (09:28):
They wasn't back.
Speaker 2 (09:29):
They're good in football and basketball.
Speaker 1 (09:32):
Back to congratulate they in truany to try to go
three in a row. Yes, they're trying to go. I
mean they're trying to dominate college football.
Speaker 4 (09:42):
So yes, out there I think so.
Speaker 1 (09:45):
Yes, you're talking about was fast who ran? iHeart? Yes,
I agree, continue I got they do.
Speaker 6 (09:55):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (09:56):
Fortunately, we got Kentucky Country Day at Stare at seven
thirty as well, got Old Borough coming out to seeing
Zaber tonight at seventeen, and we got Lexington Catholic coming
down all the way from down the road to play
a ballid High School tonight at seven thirty as well.
Should be a great game tonight number four in the
past three a so it's gonna be looking pretty oppressive
going against the Ballad Bruins. I know Ballard was I
(10:17):
would say, I don't even know if I'd say even
a rebuilding year last year, but it was definitely not
the easiest season. It was an uphill climb all year,
to say the least.
Speaker 1 (10:26):
Hey, why did I get the Bulldogs? I got as
long as I got the Bulldogs. I'm happy, That's all
I know.
Speaker 4 (10:32):
And oh, I thought that we were compared to say,
we gotta win the state and we're not going to
bout nobody else. Why don't you say about when talking about.
Speaker 1 (10:40):
I got the Bulldogs, I got the bullet all that.
I know?
Speaker 4 (10:44):
What about trendy?
Speaker 1 (10:47):
I can't that piece of cake. I haven't bit off yet,
but I'm going to do. But here's the deal. Second
week August twenty ninth, my Bruins will take on male Bulldogs.
Will be that. We will be there, that's the game.
We will be there. Yes, I just want everyone to understand,
(11:09):
Chris Wilfrim, I'm coming for you again, Ruined Nation. Yes,
I'll be standing on the sideline.
Speaker 7 (11:16):
Yes, baby football seasons here, Oh, Oh, George, we've got
a general.
Speaker 1 (11:30):
Rode up. It's nineteen. We're gonna go to break here. Oh,
I've got mister Bulldog on the other line who's just
a little with the facts. So I'm gonna first thing,
give him the AC and I'm gonna let him know
that the Bruins got him last year is the sports
radio will be back to ride after the break. Welcome
(11:54):
back to the sports radio. Yes I do. I've got
Anthony Eves. I have the one and only George Williams.
Of course the brand. Let me read you something far
Brook on my next caller Mayo. Coach Wolf sixteen season
one hundred and fifty seven and forty two. Last season
nine and three lost to the mighty, mighty, mighty mighty
Ballot Bruins in the second round of the playoffs. I
(12:15):
stole that from you, George. Offensive three starters back senior
Jordan Williams returning the quarterback after passing for oney twenty
two yards sixteen touchdowns last season. We haven't had a
lot of two years start as a quarterback, so having
Jordan back as a luxury. Coach Wolf said, we have
a big he has a big time armwoop says his
senior running back, which I hate about this. I hated
(12:37):
to see this and hear about it. Chan's Burton nine
hundred and eight yards, fifteen touchdowns and they miss the
entire season as he continues to recover from a serious
leg injury suffered last October. So ring on my next caller, Ron,
what do you got for me? Which problem? Good?
Speaker 2 (12:55):
More? Good morning gentlemen.
Speaker 1 (12:56):
First all, which probably.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
Ord d' anthony, Welcome back, welcome back, try to save
the show. I mean, it's been like listen to one
of those daily soap operas on TV with with you
all gone.
Speaker 1 (13:10):
You know I can't.
Speaker 4 (13:13):
I go ahead a second.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
Secondly, Jerry, Jerry, you can't be given out. You can't
be given out. The Tribal Chiefs location on air, the
man would be canted in New Jersey, Michigan. It sounds
like to me he's on the run from the Feds.
Speaker 3 (13:29):
Okay, don't be true.
Speaker 2 (13:37):
Don't don't be broadcasting the man's location on the air.
Speaker 1 (13:41):
Come on, man, Yeah, chrisch ChRI snitches get stitches, don't
they right now?
Speaker 4 (13:49):
Yes?
Speaker 2 (13:49):
That's right.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Shoes a uh, Jason, I got you.
Speaker 2 (13:57):
I don't know where you're at. Right now, a C.
I will put it on there. But I got your back,
okay now, and we got byd money this year.
Speaker 4 (14:07):
Ron he if he gets caught this year, we got
buying money. I want people to know that he won't
stands out. Now.
Speaker 2 (14:14):
Noticed did you notice? Did you notice, George that Jerry
One talked about the ballad beating mail last year after
that devastating injury to the to the superstar running back.
Speaker 1 (14:28):
He wanted, I hate that.
Speaker 4 (14:30):
I know you, I know you hate that.
Speaker 2 (14:32):
But let's let's clarify that.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
Bring that up.
Speaker 2 (14:35):
Yeah, no, No, he didn't bring up the first game
in the regular season when Chase played, did No, he
didn't bringing it up, right, I.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Didn't want to. I'd have to remind people of that, right,
that was the first game.
Speaker 2 (14:45):
Well, hey, George, we'll get all this straightened out next
next Friday.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Not just.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Next Friday. We're gonna go out to the pig farm. Simple,
you straighten all that out. Okay, I think it's August
thirty is we're going to the pig farm.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Yes, you know I had to go over.
Speaker 2 (15:08):
It's sit in that little bitty bleach, a little bit
of kids bleachers. They got away for the visitors where
you stare into the sun.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
You know that's how we do you all.
Speaker 4 (15:19):
That's exactly right.
Speaker 2 (15:20):
But see, see we don't have to do that. Mail.
We'll give you a nice big big side just like ours. Well,
we don't have to, we don't have to take advantage
of people like that. We just beat your butt on
the field.
Speaker 1 (15:31):
We're gonna find out twenty ninth. I'm gonna be now
with the coin flip. I'll be there with the coin.
You'll see me.
Speaker 2 (15:39):
Yeah, But you know what about about the third or
fourth quarter? I will be able to find you nowhere.
You be gone. Second quarter, second quarter, you be dunking
to dive as soon as that first mail touchdown goes.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
George, I'm gonna clarify one thing. See Ron is misleading.
Ron knows, and so do you, George. Everybody listen, I
leave every game at halftime. I've seen a million games. Now,
Jerry game.
Speaker 2 (16:07):
I've seen what I've seen. I've seen you just for
mid first quarter.
Speaker 4 (16:12):
Thank you, thank you.
Speaker 2 (16:14):
Good mail gets rolling?
Speaker 1 (16:16):
No, no, no, where's Patty wore?
Speaker 2 (16:21):
Jerry? I just seen him down, man, he's gone.
Speaker 4 (16:24):
People say that a lot of people tell me that.
They'll say where your partner at George. I say, who
are you talking about? They say Jerry. I say, well,
he's not really my partner, but he ain't here.
Speaker 1 (16:34):
George, George.
Speaker 2 (16:37):
When Ballard's leading for some reason, I can find him.
Speaker 1 (16:41):
I stayed the game that you all pulled out to
win on the last play run. I was at that
game on the one yard, like when we fumble it
and your quarterback runs it in. I stayed for that all.
You mean when y'all are you were gone? Yes, you
were gone.
Speaker 2 (16:55):
No no, no, no, you mean when y'all you mean
when y'all lost Jerry again?
Speaker 1 (16:59):
Yes, no, that was a heartbreaker. I was there for
that play. I cried.
Speaker 4 (17:04):
It was usual.
Speaker 2 (17:05):
Hey, now, let's let's move on to the next subject.
You know, I want to start the masses up a
little bit here. Okay, you know what the publication the
Athletic is right, Yes, okay, did you see their prediction
for Louisville football.
Speaker 4 (17:21):
No?
Speaker 1 (17:21):
I did not.
Speaker 2 (17:22):
No, I mean, now, this is not This is not
Ron's prediction, everybody, this is the Athletic. So yell at them,
don't yell at me. They predict Lot will go four
and four in acc no way, whoa whoa wait, Really,
when we say, Jerry, what, well, what you want? What
do you want me say? Jerry?
Speaker 1 (17:43):
I want you to say that's not correct. I'll put
a pin on that. That's all our wager. I'll put
a penny on that that we're better than four and four.
I'm athletic.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
Givest to the gas baggery around here. Miller Mars's gonna
win the Heisman trophin y'all going to college football playoffs?
Speaker 1 (18:06):
Be careful? So well, what do you think, George? Four
and four and you'll be next? What do you think
four and four?
Speaker 4 (18:16):
J Jack? What do you totally? I would totally be stunned.
Like I say, the only teams that I really see
in your conference got a chance to beat Louisville would
be Miami, Clemson, and then Kentucky. Those are only three games.
I think that Louisville really should lose this year. I
think that they're under achieving if they lose any other
other games.
Speaker 1 (18:36):
I really, what about SU George, what about SMU?
Speaker 4 (18:40):
They're questionable, Jerry. I think they rebuilding this yet, but
you know it ain't no real building no more. I
don't know what they got in. But they lost the life.
So I think I said you could do it if
there's a team to do it. S m U, I
forgot about them, but they're questionable to me.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
Right said the same thing. He said he thought SMU
was questionable. So yesterday, guys, that's what Lee Sterling said, George,
So you might be right, Anthony. What do you think
four and four? What do you think.
Speaker 4 (19:05):
You know?
Speaker 3 (19:05):
If the season could go in any direction. I know
we're only talking about the Miller House teams in the conference,
but you're still gonna understand there's teams in that conference
that always make pushes throughout the year.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
We've had wake Forest crack top top twenty five multiple times.
Georgia Tech almost beat Georgia at Georgia.
Speaker 1 (19:21):
I like Georgia Tech. That's one team might do that.
Georgia Tech.
Speaker 3 (19:24):
Syracuse always starts off the season hot earlier in the
season and they usually fade off, so they're always a
team to look out for. They do.
Speaker 1 (19:32):
Yeah, yeah, they don't, they won't.
Speaker 3 (19:34):
There's this other teams in the ACC that can make
random pushes.
Speaker 5 (19:38):
And with nil deals and so many transfers, now every
team is kind of almost just neutral. There's no team
that just sits there and just stands above all others
unless it's the ones that are usually in.
Speaker 3 (19:46):
The top ten, top fifteen. Outside of that, any team
has a chance to really beat people. You just don't
really know what teams are going to do throughout the season.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Okay, well here, I'm gonna reach you something. Let me
read you on something on Miller Moss because we've been
talking about him. In his three year career at USC,
Miller Moss sixty six for ninety two seventy onine yards,
nine fourteen yards, nine touchdowns, and as rush of twenty
seven yards and ten attempts in twelve games one start.
He holds the record for most touchdown passes through the
(20:17):
Holiday Bowl six that was against the University of Louisville,
most touchdown passes thrown in the UC Bowl game six
that was against the University of Level most touchdowns thrown
by USC quarterback, and his first Trojan starts six Okay, now,
so action in nine games, making his nine starts and
has completed two hundred and thirty three out of three
(20:37):
hundred and sixty two passes twenty five hundred yards eighteen touchdowns,
but he's tossed nine interceptions he's recorded for three hundred
yard passing games. Guys, that's where we are. That's just
who he is. He's a little bit of both. Go George.
Speaker 4 (20:55):
I think now if we will sit down and look
at if Miller Mouse can just be half the quarterback,
then he is with the talent that receivers that he
had with the running back game, that Louis will goat.
I just don't see. You've got two thousand yard Russias
in the backfield right now. You got one of the
kids that broke Lamar's rushing record in the backfield. So
I just think what the offense you guys got. I
think the only thing that could hurt you would be
(21:16):
your defense. And you're returning about five of you started
some last year defense and two of them well a CC.
So let me write.
Speaker 2 (21:26):
Something about that, George, George, let me interject on that. Okay,
the two best defensive players they had went to the NFL. Correct,
the defensive back in the linebacker what was I forgot
his name?
Speaker 4 (21:43):
Now?
Speaker 1 (21:48):
The defense, the defense they were he was in the
conference last year. So you're right.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
The offense wasn't the problem. It's never been the problem.
Speaker 4 (21:58):
It won't be the problem this, yarither.
Speaker 2 (22:01):
Well, I don't know. He will see what Miller Boss brings.
I'm not sold yet.
Speaker 1 (22:06):
Okay, but you've got Isaac Brown and Duke Watson are
very good Georgia.
Speaker 2 (22:13):
I agree, Yes, there they are.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
They are lamars.
Speaker 2 (22:18):
Last year they averaged what thirty eight points a game?
Little dead, I believe.
Speaker 1 (22:21):
Yes, he's averaged los coach averaged thirty six a game
the first two years.
Speaker 2 (22:28):
Yes, yeah, but they still managed to lose the teams
like Stanford. So it's the defense. The defense is not
going to be great. I don't know how good it's
gonna be, but it's not gonna be great.
Speaker 1 (22:41):
That's well.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Yeah, that and and I'm not I'm not going to
flourish all this love on Miller Moss till I see
it on the field.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
But like I said, toss nine interceptions, guys, we.
Speaker 2 (22:59):
Could rally boots him for a reason. And Lincoln Riley
knows a little bit about quarterbacks too.
Speaker 1 (23:05):
What do you think, George? What do you think? What?
Speaker 4 (23:08):
Yeah? I just think that Louisville got it. I think,
like Ryan said, if they have any weaknesses, it's going
to be on defense. But if the defense plays up
the part I think Louisville can win. But my thing is,
I think that Brom every year has tried to outscore
as opponent, not toy have the defense. Where about you know,
the defense being strong if you can get out.
Speaker 2 (23:27):
George, that's been his career. That's been his career at
Western Purdue and now looks he's never had great defenses. Ever.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
No, that's a crack. That's in fact he wants he
does outscore you. He's an innovator offensively, he takes risk offensively.
Sometimes he turns the ball over going on fourth down
in the wrong position I think, wrong field position, which
puts his defense, which is not good, in a hole.
But they do score, guys, they have his thirty six
thirty seven points a game. They score, So we're gonna
(23:58):
have to wait and see.
Speaker 4 (23:59):
And taking a lot of offense in the A C C.
What do you think, Ron, you think that's some offensive
joggon nuts in the A C C. That would good? Lobo. Uh,
I don't.
Speaker 2 (24:10):
Know, George, I really don't know. I don't follow that close.
But let me say this, uh Berefore, last they dropped
the game at Pittsburgh. Nobody's seen coming. Last year they
dropped the game at Stanford. Nobody's seen coming. I heard
yesterday that the s m U was legit last year.
Speaker 1 (24:29):
Yeah that he was good. Yeah, they're good.
Speaker 2 (24:34):
But I heard yesterday the Boston College is a little
better than everybody thinks. Uh, I mean, you just don't know.
And I do, like, I agree with you all that
that King kid at they're good, Yes, they're they're legit
down there too.
Speaker 1 (24:55):
So they played the mess Georgia last year. Yes, Georgia
Tech played the mess out of George in the last
game of the season, rival game. And I mean it
was a real game. They played really well. They really
impressed me. They did.
Speaker 2 (25:06):
I will say, I will say this. To to have
any shot to get into the playoffs, the very least
little has to make the ACC player Championship game, and
I'm not so sure they're going to.
Speaker 1 (25:22):
Then you're right that only two teams of the a
SEC will get there. You're gonna have to be in
the championship game. That's a fact, guys. We got to
get the break already. Seven thirty six.
Speaker 2 (25:32):
Bulldogs right, stop giving stop, stop giving AC's location out
on the air.
Speaker 4 (25:41):
Stop.
Speaker 6 (25:43):
Welcome back to the sports radio.
Speaker 1 (25:54):
Guys at seven forty. You have to be there at eight.
Please be close. Welcome back to the East Words Radium, George.
And then you always jumping up and down on my cardinals.
You're jumping up and down on them. I mean you're
jumping up the credit. No, I gave them credit. I
thought that, Like I said, I thought there was only
three game teams that could beat them in that uh
this year. So I thought I gave him a lot
(26:14):
of credit there. Okay, well, I'm gonna we're gonna flip
the script I sent it to you. You have not
given me your prediction for your cats. I've got mine,
I've got Anthony's, I have ship. I want yours. First
game to Leedle. What do your cats do?
Speaker 4 (26:31):
I think that's a game that they should win.
Speaker 1 (26:34):
Okay, second game, Old miss oh miss George.
Speaker 4 (26:39):
And if they're gonna do it, okay, if they're gonna
do anything in the sec Jared, they got to beat
old miss. They bought them dwellers together.
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Oh missus rate George. I gotta losing that game, oh
missus ranked just so you know, loss Eastern Missian, George,
what do you have?
Speaker 4 (26:58):
You got to win? You got to win that game.
Speaker 1 (27:00):
Yeah, yes, they do. I've got them winning that game. Also, George,
South Carolina at South Carolina.
Speaker 4 (27:07):
George, if you hope to go to the Bowls, Jerry,
you got to win that game. That's that's a question up. Yeah,
I know it's up in there. But Jared, they got
to bet South Calina. You know, I mean in my eyes,
in my eyes, I think that that that's one of
the teams in the SEC. If they're going to beat
this quality, they got to beat South Carolina.
Speaker 1 (27:26):
You've got them starting four and old. George, I just
wanted to.
Speaker 4 (27:29):
Give you a no, Okay, I take Old Miss off.
I take Old Miss. Got those three games? Yeah, I
take the three games.
Speaker 1 (27:37):
Okay, so you got you were three and one lost
Ole Miss. Okay, here's the problem, George. I looked it up.
Kentucky's got the fourth toughest football schedule in the country
after South Carolina. You're at Georgia.
Speaker 4 (27:51):
Yeah. Yeah, Hey, Jerry, you know that's a loss.
Speaker 1 (27:55):
In my eyes, that's lost in nineties, right, George, that's
a lost in ninety the team. That's why I try
to get the truth, George, don't forget. I want to
understand when we're trying to tell the truth here we
have fun, but don't forget South Carolina. Last game of
the year, last year defeated. Comes to George.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
Oh, I understand that. But way I know, well I'm
looking at that, Jerry, is that if we're gonna get wins,
we gotta get the winds that you know, it's almost
equal to us in South Carolina. If they's a comparable team,
that will be good. That's true, It should be good.
That's true.
Speaker 1 (28:34):
Yes, that is true. That's what the last three years, Yes,
can take. You had a nice stretch against South Carolina,
they ran Spurrier out of town. Had a nice stretch.
But not since then. Okay, George, next game after at Georgia,
we got Texas at home.
Speaker 4 (28:51):
Yeah, you know, I gotta go to Texas chair and
I just hope we got players to play well. The
one thing that's gonna be good and they and they've
been saying is and I don't know how to did
we got back up players, Jared, cause if you're looking
at Georgia and Texas, you need backup players by the
next game.
Speaker 1 (29:05):
Paul, is no question. After that Georgia and the Texas game, Georgia,
you've got Tennessee at home.
Speaker 4 (29:13):
Well, the only good thing about that, Jerry, the Tennessee
lost a lot of players last year. Maybe we can
bound that. I don't know what they brought in because
with the nil you don't know who's there and who's
not there, so I can't really say who they got.
But I think if there's any year that we got
a chance to beat Tennessee. And we haven't heard what
Kentucky's got because they haven't really released what their players
like and what they look like. But if there's any
(29:34):
team I think we can be Jerry will be Tennessee.
I mean we have to be Tennessee. I mean, if
we got a chance this year, this will be about
the last year we're going to chance to be Tennessee
because they don't give up many years though. And I
haven't got talent.
Speaker 1 (29:45):
George at Alburn.
Speaker 4 (29:49):
Oh, but Jared me ain't like go longer.
Speaker 1 (29:51):
I'll say Alburn, Yes, Kentucky is the preseason prediction fifteenth.
Alburn's preseason prediction is eleven. All brings a little down,
but I would go with you. I've got him losing
the Ober George Florida, I told you rank schedule in
the country Florida's ranked ninth in their conference.
Speaker 4 (30:14):
Nine, and the coaches on the hot the coaches on
the hot seat. Jer if he doesn't get this win,
he knows he won't be that next year. So I
gotta give it to Florida for that win right there.
Speaker 1 (30:27):
For that just a long hunt, Georg.
Speaker 4 (30:29):
Yeah, for my I don't like to move, Jared. So
if you lose that game, you got the moving vans
in front of your house.
Speaker 1 (30:36):
Yeah, that's your Let's go Tennessee Tech.
Speaker 4 (30:41):
I don't know much about them, Jared. I don't know
much about them, so I'm gonna have to say we
should win that because with SEC team, So I'm gonna
go with that.
Speaker 1 (30:50):
Okay, Vanderbilt, George, they're fourteenth preseason, you're fifteen.
Speaker 4 (30:56):
Advance always question, Yeah, well one likely to be bandy,
but you know, we've got to win that game. That's
a game we should win. The coach, those coops are
saying that he's turning around in Kentucky, you should be bandy,
you know what I mean? That could be, but that's
always a game up in the air, Jared. We never know,
you know, when we think Kentucky's gonna win it, they lose.
When we think they're not gonna gonna win, they win,
(31:18):
I mean lose, they win. So I don't know. So,
but I'm gonna pick Kentucky in that game because just
a homer.
Speaker 1 (31:25):
So here's who we're going with. You've got one, two, three, George,
four six wins right now, six wins, last game of
the season. You're at Louisville. It's gonna be a beatdown
for you, George. You know that.
Speaker 4 (31:37):
Beat down well, Jared, you know it's question. Like I said,
Kentucky had to last know a lot about their team, Jared,
you know, I don't know a lot about them, man.
So you know, I'm just picking these just on what
I on my beliefs.
Speaker 1 (31:53):
I'm gonna go, George. Yes, I'm gonna go watch the
old this game, second game of the season, That's what
I'm gonna go watch. I do want to see Kentucky
in person, so I'm going to go to that game, George.
Speaker 4 (32:03):
I do.
Speaker 1 (32:05):
But you gotta live with George. Yeah, you know what
you want to that game, George.
Speaker 4 (32:12):
I want to see a fantastic Hall of Fame quarterback.
Speaker 1 (32:15):
Je I mean possibility.
Speaker 4 (32:17):
I want to see one of them the man and boys.
I mean, you know, I mean when you get a
chance to see a man and go, go see when
you can. And I love to see Hall of Famous
because he super talent. I like to see talent player.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
No, he's a very good player. I like manly. So, Louisville,
where you picking? George?
Speaker 4 (32:33):
Come on, Jerry, what do you mean? I'm picking?
Speaker 1 (32:37):
You know?
Speaker 4 (32:37):
And it's gonna be a rough one, y'all. Y'all did
a bad guy to us the week?
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Oh we did you dirty last year? George? We did
you dirty last year?
Speaker 4 (32:45):
And I think if you look at the record, you
know what I mean, Jerry. I think that the catch
has been wiping the floor up with Louisville for the
last ten or so years. And I think he got
one ten.
Speaker 1 (32:55):
George.
Speaker 4 (32:56):
Okay, okay, it seems like it seemed like King Jade.
But you know, I'm gonna have to step outdoing and say,
y'all get beat again at home.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Oh my, I'm putting it down, George. You've got get
tucky winning.
Speaker 4 (33:12):
Okay, that's why.
Speaker 1 (33:16):
We're gonna get It's seven forty seven, George. We're gonna
get to break when we come back. We've got some
things we got to talk about. I mean, Jyalen Brown's
dad stabbing someone Georgia. He's a lot of crazy, crazy
news going on E Sports Radio. Y'all got ten minutes
to get to work. We'll be back in a minute.
Welcome back to E Sports Radio, guys, seven fifty one George.
(33:38):
Before we finish this up, just so everyone understands what
Kentucky has to go through. That's why I don't kill
stoops because these are the facts breaking down toughest schedules
of twenty twenty five. I just want people to hear these.
Florida's number one SEC toughest schedule, Oklahoma number two, Mississippi
(34:00):
number three. The first thing that breaks the SEC run
Wisconsin is the fourth toughest schedule. I was wrong. Kentucky
has the fifth toughest schedule, George, Arkansas has the sixth
toughest scheduled George. Texas A and M has the seventh
toughest scheduled George. Vanderbilt has the eighth touffest schedule before
we have Rutgers again in the Big Ten. Then Purdue
(34:23):
rounds it out. So guys, playing in that SEC is
truly unfair. It really is so semi pro Bowl. He's
paid for it, though coach students paid handsomely. He's paid properly.
He's got to deliver this year, George, so we have
to wait and see. But his schedule is just it's brutal.
The sec is brutal, George. That's all there is to it.
(34:44):
It's just the fact. So now, George, what do you
think I sent it to you? Jalen Brown's dad stab
somebody in altercation? I mean, godly, George. And I'm not
saying who's right or wrong. I have no idea. I'm
just saying world gone crazy, That's all I know, George.
Speaker 4 (35:00):
What I always say that, jer if you not packing
an instrument that can destroy somebody's deadly, then you don't
have to worry about it. You don't have that problem,
you know, Jerry, when you live in the lifestyle. I mean,
I can't even understand why a guy and his status
would be carrying a knife on him and then to
get that upset about what somebody's saying to you, you know,
(35:22):
because of a little card dent. I don't understand it, Jerse.
But if you didn't have it, you wouldn't have to
worry about it.
Speaker 1 (35:28):
I know. George, The father of Boston Celtics star Jalen Brown,
was accused of attempted murder in connection with his stabbing
Wednesday night and multiple times, according yes, exactly to multiple reports.
Quin tel M. Brown fifty seven, was arrested Thursday morning
and booked into the Park County Detention Center. He made
his first court appearance Thursday afternoon and his due back Tuesday.
(35:50):
His bill was set at three hundred thousand dollars. George.
Las Vegas police said the stabbing occurred after two people
got into an argument in a parking.
Speaker 6 (35:59):
Lot over a Dean fall right right, Dean time, George
world going crazy.
Speaker 4 (36:08):
Well, Jared, like I said, if if he had been
thinking and not carried it with him, that's why and
the reason I say that Jared, cause five seconds or
thirty seconds later he probably would have calmed down. But
the first thing he thought is I'm so upset. I'm
gonna show him. And that's showing him may cause him
the rest of his natural life in prison. This guy
(36:29):
got the stomach, gotta be removed, part of the stomach
and stuff there.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Hospital, Yeah, recovering from surgery. Official say my goodness, well
I'm just hoping that self defense. I don't know. No,
I'm not opening anything. I don't know. We have to
wait and see. But again, all I know when I
read it, all I could say is world gone crazy, George.
I mean, world is on steroids of crazy right now.
I just hope that now that sport would start it,
(36:57):
now we can get this thing together. Now here's my
last question George for you. Okay, football starting and we
know this gambling is huge, really big, and Monday we're
going to get into it more. George. I've had football
players talk about their brothers that have been banned from
the NBA. Some of the things they say, We know
that there, George, there was gambling when I was playing.
It just wasn't like guys, there have been pots on
(37:18):
the NCAA tournament for seventy years. We know that. But
now George, that gambling is legal and there's going to
be gambling. We know that. Is it the right thing, George?
And we're going to really get into it on Monday.
Do we truly think it's the right thing for the
college game?
Speaker 4 (37:37):
What do you think, Jared, Like they said, gambling does
become an addiction, and when you could do it at
such a young age. I mean you can gamble before
you can drink, yes, yes, you know. I mean you
can gamble before you get your driver's license. You got
parents teaching their children to gamble. I mean, there if
this is something you do all your life, I mean
you think you not addicted. I mean there's people who
(37:59):
go that they rent money on before they pay their rent.
So I just think about that, Jared, that's just something
to think about it. I mean, do you can you
really say it's justifiable? But I'm not mad. I can't.
I can't judge. I don't do it, you know. I
mean I can't say how it is because I don't
do it. But I just don't need, Jared something, And
sometimes I feel sorry for the people who do. But
(38:19):
then who am I to say it's wrong? I mean,
I don't want to say what's wrong or what's right
when I don't do something.
Speaker 1 (38:25):
You know what I'm saying exactly? I agree. Well, Jeorge,
you said, you know, spend up your rent. James Hanley
spend Martin Dumber and our rent in nineteen eighty two
at Churchard Day.
Speaker 4 (38:35):
And didn't worry about it. The name is James Handley.
Speaker 1 (38:41):
Oh we were gonna kill my man exactly.
Speaker 4 (38:45):
He paid people getting legs broken behind this thing out here, Jered,
some people.
Speaker 1 (38:51):
Martin Dunbar was really kill the boy. Yes, so that
was nineteen eighty two. He spent our rent money, George.
Speaker 4 (38:56):
So this is all I want to ask you, Jed.
Speaker 1 (38:58):
Yeah. So we don't have time, George, Monday. You remember
the question Monday because we're de guys. Okay, you better
write it down, George, write it down.
Speaker 4 (39:07):
I'm writing it down right now, Jee.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
The only way I love you man right now. Great week,
talk to you all on Monday. God will he put
a smile on your face that you're not fully dressed?
Speaker 4 (39:17):
Bye Bye
