a lot in store, got a lot in store again. Everyone,
get your scores in. We've got Wednesday, Thursday, Friday. It's
got everybody. I'm telling you, they're like handicappers. They want
to see the last odds before they make their decision.
The games. This week's games Scott Indiana State at IU Okay,

(02:28):
Georgia at Tennessee, which is the game of the week.
Everyone understands. Georgia at Tennessee is the game that is
being evaluated for winning the money fifty dollars this week,
Eastern Michigan at Kentucky, Texas A and m at Notre Dame.
Notre Dame's h to one. They've only played one game.

(02:51):
Had a bye week last week, so it's a big
game for Notre Dame. Those are the four games. Of course,
Louisville has a bye week this week, so those are
the four games. Get your scores in. I've already gotten
four people's scores in. I haven't checked my email yet
this morning, but that's where we are, so you've got
three days to get it in. Mary was my last winner.

(03:11):
Like she says, she has absolutely no idea about the
spreads who's gonna win, but she's got seventy five dollars
going coming her way. So Scott, that's where we are.
That's the meat and potatoes for the contest. Now, as
for the show, you got a lot to get to
and I'm going to throw it to you a little
bit for National News before we get on. My insurance agent,

(03:35):
Stephan Mike State Farms, done a tremendous job. Save me
a ton of money, and he's gonna talk to people
about what they need for two or three minutes to
let them know where they should be and what they
should be doing with their insurance. It's just an educational piece.
He wants to educate people. So I think it's well worth.
It saved me a ton of money, that's a fact.

(03:56):
I mean, I'm just being honest with you, a ton
of money. And after myself, he's got almost everyone I know,
and he saves them a ton of money. Same coverage,
you're not better for less money. So we'll have stuff
on for a few minutes when we come back from
our first break. So I'm gonna throw it to you first.
What we got going on nationally that people need to

(04:17):
know about.

Speaker 3 (04:19):
Well, I would say, you know, this time of year
is always a great time of year when it comes
to Major League Baseball because we're, you know, coming down
the home stretch of the baseball season, less than twenty
games left in the regular season, and the major league
team that you can't talk about that's close to Louisville

(04:41):
that I'll go ahead and talk about them, because I
mean I've watched them and you know they're the Cincinnati Reds.
They are three games back of the last wild card spot,
so they're not completely out of it. They're in really
good shape. You know, as we know when it comes
to teams and you know coaching, you got to be

(05:03):
hitting the right stride at this time of year, so
you know, ramping yourselves up. You know, they're again, they're
moving in a positive direction. You know they're won yesterday.
They're a game over five hundred. Yes, Tyler Stevenson hit
a two run home run last night in the top
of the ninth to beat the Padres. So again they're

(05:26):
moving in a good direction and they're just outside. But
you know, the Mets have lost a couple to the Phillies.
Uh My mom's happy about that. She's a big time
Phillies fan. And Kyle Schwarber hit his fiftieth home run
last night to lead the National League, so he's a
front runner when it comes to the MVP of the

(05:46):
National League. So you know, we'll see what happens there
on the MVP race. But we're getting we're getting down
to the home stretch. Her coach and I know you don't.

Speaker 1 (05:57):
I can keep the reds out of my mouth, but
they've done really well. Francona has done a great job
the new manager. One game over seventeen games remaining. We
just need the Mets to slip up. They've slipped up already.
Everyone expected the Mets do really well this year. They're struggling.
So we're just continuing pulling for the Reds. They have

(06:19):
really improved and I think people are gonna have to
get on the bandwagon soon. But I'm going to keep
their name out of my mouth. Scott period, point blank.
A lot of a gentleman call around, the biggest Reds fan,
and when you start talking about them, they're five and
five the last ten games. Scott one last night. So
let's go Reds. That's all I can say. Let's go Reds. Period.

Speaker 4 (06:41):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
No, I will say this. We're major League Baseball expanding
their wild card. It keeps teams involved and keeps the
fans involved, keeps the excitement going down the last stretch
of the season. You know, you got on the American
League side, got the Yankees and the Red Sox and

(07:01):
the wild card hunt. You know they're up there. The
Toronto Blue Jays are leading that division. Cleveland, you know,
another close team to your region. They were only two
and a half games out. So they always bring excitement
this time of year. So we're in a good exciting
place for Major League Baseball. And when it comes to

(07:25):
everything else, we'll we'll talk about that later, because I
know we've got your insurance guy coming up that is
he ready to go, Coach.

Speaker 5 (07:31):
Not yet, not yet?

Speaker 1 (07:32):
You're good. What else you have after baseball? What else
we have?

Speaker 3 (07:36):
Man, We've got. You know what we didn't talk about, coach.
The other day is Monday night football. Monday night and
the collapse. I was, I was, I was watching, and

(07:59):
it was it was amazing. How you know they're this,
you know, Raven about the can I say, Raven, we
talk about another collapse?

Speaker 1 (08:11):
Leave my Ravens alone? And they did collapse. God did
they collapse. Epic collect you.

Speaker 3 (08:18):
Know, we're raving about the two quarterbacks with the Vikings
and the Bears, and one's playing great and then the
other one is not, and then all of a sudden,
it just flips in the quorder. It was almost I mean,
it really reminded me of the Ravens game.

Speaker 4 (08:42):
How you know, you've got you know, two.

Speaker 3 (08:45):
Two big time quarterbacks and there's one just you know,
even though Jackson didn't play bad, but it's just all
of a sudden, Josh Allen just really just shows himself.

Speaker 1 (08:56):
Yes, I mean, without a doubt, Josh over the game.
And the Ravens defense is done. With the Ravens defense
has done. And I said it last year, especially because
of Joe Burrows in the way, I thought he was
my last year's MVP, but he had no defense. But
I never looked at it that way with the Ravens.
I just never did. I always had the Ray Lewis

(09:17):
Ravens in my brain. The Ravens hit their tough defensively,
the Ravens the rape, and then I went starting to
check and we found out they've had epic collapses. The
Ravens have eight times since twenty twenty two over a
ninety percent chance of winning the game in the fourth
quartering lost. And then when you go back and you research it,
six of the games they had thirty eight points or more.

(09:38):
Their defense sucks, period, point blank. They're not the defense
that we want to always give them credit for. I mean,
that's just the bottom line. So there are a lot
of games where the Ravens would have to score forty
five to fifty to win. That's just the facts which
happened in the Buffalo game. But you got to give
Josh Allen his due. They executed, great, thank you. They
executed and they did what they were supposed to do

(09:59):
to get that. Scott. Now, with Williams and the Bears,
I'm just not huge on men that paint their fingernails, Scott,
I'm sorry, I.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Just not.

Speaker 4 (10:12):
For some want to know who did that.

Speaker 1 (10:15):
Williams killer Williams. You've got to look. He paints his
fingernails red, white, and blue and all the different things.
Just not me, and he has he did it in
the pre draft last year coming in. I'm just not
with it. I just not with it. So I'm not
a big Williams fan. But he did play well for

(10:35):
three quarters. So Scott, we're gonna get to break. The
Bears are the Bears. They may be the Bears for
a long time, who knows, hopefully, but for three quarters
they did look forward. And Minnesota is a playoff team.
They are playoff team. Minnesota's not bad. Now, Minnesota is
they playoff team?

Speaker 3 (10:57):
Well, they look like a rookie for first three.

Speaker 1 (11:02):
Quarters, yes, and then in an All Star played like
an a fan. So had to pick six early. I
mean he was throwing it to the Bears. It's just
funny how games evolved. So I think conditioning wise because honestly,
with the Bears, they could not stop the running game.
In the second half, Minnesota absolutely ran over them, which

(11:23):
made it a lot easier on JJ to play action pass.
But I don't know, it's NFL is off and running.
We'll have to wait and see. There's a lot of
question marks this year, I think, and we'll have to
wait and see how this transpires. So let's get to break.
Shannon has already told me that we have my man,
Stephan Mack sitting on the line. When we come back,

(11:44):
we want to talk to you. He's going to talk
to you all directly about some things that you don't
need to know that may save you and your family.
This is the sports Radio. We'll talk to you in
a minute. Welcome back to Eve Sports Radio Phone numbers
five zero, two, five seven, one seventy nine hundred. Your
score is in of course, Scottie. Let me tell you what.

(12:05):
Stephan mac great man, even though he's a Lexington boy,
and you.

Speaker 5 (12:10):
Know how Lexington.

Speaker 1 (12:12):
I can't, I just can't. I just don't feel good
about it. I just you know, but he did come
in says give me a ship. How do you know
how I count money? And I love it. He saved
me a lot of money. But he's an elected boy, Scott.
So I just want everybody to know listen to it.
Why keep your eye on him? Stephen Mick, Welcome to
the show. How are you brother?

Speaker 5 (12:33):
Good morning, Jarry? How you doing that? You just had
to throw that in? Huh?

Speaker 1 (12:38):
Where'd you go to high school?

Speaker 2 (12:40):
Just?

Speaker 1 (12:40):
Where'd you go to high school?

Speaker 5 (12:41):
We know? I w I went to take Streek High
School passive three.

Speaker 1 (12:49):
Boo.

Speaker 5 (12:49):
My coach was just inducted in the Basketball Hall of Fame.
I played Nolan Barber.

Speaker 1 (12:55):
Nolan Barber, Yeah, I know Nolan personally. Vince Taylor went there,
move vents and boo you and bo well not I
don't want to bo he's all a fa boo you
other two.

Speaker 5 (13:08):
Oh my goodness, Oh my goodness. Well wait yeah, yeah,
well my wife was from Louisville. How about that? Does
that help?

Speaker 1 (13:19):
Okay, there you go. That helps you? Moved to the label.
That that helps you. You stepped in the right direction.
You know, I have to be I got any cat
fans that listening. I was in Lexington this weekend, and
you know, I just have to let you know. Boom
takes creek. That's all there's doing well.

Speaker 5 (13:35):
So now whenever you start stop running from me and
from the on the golf course, we'll we'll we'll sell
that up there. I'll let you get one that.

Speaker 1 (13:45):
Mister brand Scott, don't listen to that. I had another context.
Mister Brown called the show, Mike called the show. I
had a cat fan call me out, Scott, a cat fan,
so he pays to be on my team.

Speaker 4 (13:56):
Scott got me.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
He comes in, he's Scott. He had to admit, Scotty.
It's all on the line hole ten at Cardinal Club
and we're in a heated match. Scotty, it's best drive.
So we played Frankie's drive. But then after that we
all played in. You know who walked away with the
par you know who walked away with the two bogies,

(14:19):
two tad fans. Yes, oh, I'm not ducky, anybody, Scott,
that's fine, And he had to come on, mister Brown
call in, Mike call in. That's also no, I'm not ducky,
trust me, duck So I'm anyway.

Speaker 5 (14:34):
No, I'm out here working man.

Speaker 1 (14:37):
Okay, well that's what you should do. Tell me something
real quick. How'd your son do? I know he goes
to center, I know he plays. How did your son do?
What did they do this weekend?

Speaker 5 (14:45):
Well? They they played their arch rival Hanover College. They
won twenty seven to sixteen. My son had four solo
tackles and an interception that he had to play the game.

Speaker 4 (14:58):
He got.

Speaker 5 (14:59):
The just selected him as the MVP. So I'm just
so so proud of it, man, because what he's come
back from, he you know, towards a c L his
last uh, the first game of his senior year at
Trinity the dark Side.

Speaker 1 (15:14):
Oh god, exactly ready to give it to your credits.

Speaker 5 (15:20):
Let's move on, I mean god, yeah, the first time
back on the field, man.

Speaker 2 (15:29):
You know.

Speaker 5 (15:29):
So he's a sophomore, he's uh, he's starting, and he's
doing well in the classroom. That's what I'm outing about him.

Speaker 2 (15:37):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (15:38):
Great, congratulations and your wife, congratulations.

Speaker 5 (15:42):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (15:42):
Let's get to thank you because people do need to know.
I want them to know that I did not know
Stephan Mack had never met him before he comes to
one of my events. And introduces himself, says, you're like
to just have an opportunity during your business. I said, okay,
which I'm always looking for people to save me money,
give me better coverage, not lesser coverage. I'm not for that.

(16:04):
And he came in and he's shown it, and since
then he's got my entire family. Guys, I wouldn't lie
to you all. He has done a tremendous job. So
you've got a few little belief points. I want you
to hit first and foremost. I want you to talk
about to our listeners what they need to know about
income replacement, which is key.

Speaker 5 (16:23):
Okay, absolutely, So you know, this month is family Month
at Greencastle Baptist Churches where I attend. Jerry, and when
I when we talk about the family, we talk about,
you know, how do we protect the family, and how
do we protect our income over over you know, over
a period of time. And so you know, when I

(16:45):
talk about income, there's five things that typically comes up
when I'm talking to my customers. It's just you know,
it's paying off the mortgage, it's paying off you know,
you know, loans on their cars. It's paying off their bills,
it's paying off their debt, and it's paying for college.
And you can do all these things through what I

(17:06):
call it. It's actually life insurance, but I call it
life income okay, because it protects your income for life
and then finally those final final expenses are are paid
off and you can do all of that through life insurance.
There's really two types of products. There's a whole life

(17:27):
product and there's a term product. But depending on your circumstances,
let's just sit down and have a conversation. You know,
wouldn't that be smart? Do you think to have that conversation.

Speaker 1 (17:41):
It's a tough conversation. People don't like to have it,
and I'm one of those people, but yes, I do
have life insurance and it's a tough conversation, but it
has to be done, especially for younger people that are
getting started.

Speaker 5 (17:53):
So that's great.

Speaker 1 (17:55):
We're going to do is We're gonna follow you ky
go on in a couple of weeks, but every two
weeks you'll give us a different little bullet point. I'll
leave you alone with Lexington. Now that I've introduced you properly,
you're Lexington Wall Street boy boob and at least you
your wife's from Louisville. You're half decent.

Speaker 5 (18:15):
And she's a much better she is so she is,
she is cool. I had to come to Loisver to
find my find my queen. Brother goough and thank you
for letting me be on the show. Jerry, you really
appreciate it. You know we're trying. We're here to we're
here to solve problems. We're here to take care of
issues and help people. That's that's what I'm about.

Speaker 1 (18:38):
Thank you, and thanks for sponsoring esports radio stuff, and
I appreciate you. Got absolutely we got to let him
go boot to Lexington, but I love you, brother. State
Farmers where you'll find Stephan mac now Scott Top twenty five,
Top twenty five College football. It's kind of evolving. What
do you think right now? We're two weeks in. Other

(19:02):
than Notre Dame, they've only played one game, tough loss.
College football is off and running. Who do you like?
If you had to pick a front runner right now?
Is it Ohio State didn't produce her many points against
Texas playing at home? Would it be Penn State? James Franklin.
I'm just until James Franklin wins a big games. Got

(19:26):
I'm sorry very good coach preparation. Team does well, but
they've got to win a big one. Then you've got
LSU lurky. What do you think? What's your opinion?

Speaker 3 (19:37):
What for the scheduling purposes? Only Ohio State's in a
great position. So right now, just looking at the rest
of their schedule, they've got Illinois number nine, They've got
Penn State, and then they've got Michigan to end it,
who's number twenty three. So they only have three ranked opponents.

(20:00):
I say, the other teams aren't good, but they've got
three ranked opponents left on their schedule, so you've got.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
To after playing Texas. So that's four out of twelve
to be honest with you, right, Yes, I mean that's
four ranked opponents and a lot of teams that don't
see any I'm just so yes, I'm not gonna knock
them on their schedule. They have four ranked opponents out
of their twelve games. That's pretty tough.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
And then when it comes when it comes to you know,
their conference, where you have I can't even fit all
of their teams on the screen in the conference, Like
I have to scroll down to get to see how
many teams are actually in the Big Ten. So when
you have a schedule or a conference like that, you're

(20:49):
not gonna it's tough to get a really good schedule
or really bad schedule. So when you look at Penn State,
they've got remaining They've got oh iiO State and Indiana
as an Oregon, so they play Oregon in two weeks, sorry,
three weeks, and then they've got Ohio State in Indiana

(21:12):
as their other ranked opponents coming out. Now, when you
you take that and then you you talk about you know,
strangle schedule everything, and we talked about it yesterday off
the off the air.

Speaker 4 (21:26):
You look at.

Speaker 3 (21:26):
Alabama, So Alabama, and you know Alabama's like coming from
Nick Saban, anybody come in following Nick Saban is in
trouble because if you don't win right away, you're probably done.
You look at his schedule, so he's got Wisconsin this week,

(21:49):
which is you know, Wisconsin is always going to be tough,
whether they're ranked or.

Speaker 1 (21:55):
Right now, it's going to be a very competitive game.

Speaker 3 (21:59):
On the twenty seven, they're they're at Georgia, then they
played Vanderbilt, then they've got this this is their next
four or five games. They've got Missouri twenty five at Missouri,
they host Tennessee, who's fifteen. They're at South Carolina.

Speaker 2 (22:23):
Who's eleven.

Speaker 3 (22:24):
They've got LSU at home, They've got Oklahoma, and then
they end the season they have Eastern Illinois, which could
probably be that they could have a new coach by then,
and then they end with Auburn number twenty four.

Speaker 1 (22:40):
And don't forget it's got Vanderbilt defeated Alabama last year.
Vanderbilt defeated Alabama last year. Don't forget that. So, I mean,
what a schedule. The SEC is unfair. That's just the facts.
For coaches that are on the hot seat, it's unfair.
It's just Florida's going through it. I mean, there's just
Billy Napier has got one of the toughest schedules in

(23:03):
the country. And I don't know how you survive in
the SEC if you're on the fringe. It's just a
hard place to keep your job. It just is. So
we'll have to watch I think this South Florida Miami game.
After South Florida defeating Florida, Yes, that's going to be
a really good game. They had Carson Beck on ESPN

(23:23):
talking about it today and he says they're not taking
them for granted. They're watching them closely. That's going to
be a good game. This top twenty five right now,
when you're looking at the SEC and the Big ten,
Scott it's madnes See. If you look at a Big
ten alone, Illinois's nine, Indiana's twenty two, Wild States one,
Oregon's four, Penn States two, Michigan is twenty three. That's

(23:48):
the Big ten. You're right, there's so many teams in
the Big ten you need to scroll down on your
computer phone. But still it's amazing the strength of schedule
between the big in the SEC. The ACC had a
great first weekend. It really did Clemson. Big weekend for
Clemson at Georgia Tech. I think Georgia Tech at home

(24:11):
has a chance to beat them. If they do, Clemson
drops out of the top twenty and that would hurt
the ACC. They need for Clemson to play well this weekend,
so we have to continue watching that to see if
they can build their strengthen schedule. Florida State has made
a step in the right direction. Miami, of course, going
out getting Carson Beck has made a step in the
right direction. So we're just gonna have to watch these teams.

(24:33):
But right now, this top twenty five is nothing but
a revolving door. It's an index Cardscot on steroids. It's
just spinning and you're gonna see things change. But I
do like the upper Echelne big ten upper echeline sec
to do well. So seventh thirty four, we got three callers.
Let's take one of them. Let's who's the first one up? Shennon,

(24:55):
Who do we have? Steve? Welcome to the sports radio.

Speaker 4 (24:58):
How are you, Jared?

Speaker 1 (25:01):
Good morning, Steve. How you doing.

Speaker 6 (25:05):
I'm doing great? Man doing great?

Speaker 1 (25:08):
You got the games exactly, That's all we're doing. You've
got the games, and you know the game that counts
is Georgia Tennessee. So right off the bat, are you
going to get in the briers bush with me? Or
you stand out again?

Speaker 6 (25:20):
Which one I'm gonna stay out?

Speaker 1 (25:24):
Okay, I got you this, Skuy. I told you Steve
was my first caller, Scot, So you're talking to my
very first caller eleven years ago or ten years ago,
after long, it was Steve. I'm glad we're both alive.
But Steve, I'm just I'm strong, Steve. People have a
hard time beating me with my over under. I cheat, Steve,
but so I cheats. So let's get with it. Mary

(25:46):
won lay. Steve, you were close again last week. Not
as close. Ron was the closest. Mary was first, Ron
the second, but you were really close. You've been in
the top three the first two weeks. So Steve, what
you have. Let's go. First game, Georgia at Tennessee.

Speaker 6 (26:02):
Oh yeah, okay. I like Georgia to win twenty seven
twenty four.

Speaker 1 (26:09):
Gotcha twenty seven to twenty four. And I'm looking at
the scores. I've got a twenty eight eighteen. I've got
a twenty thirty one to twenty four. We're good. I've
got a twenty twenty. We're fine. Let's go in Indiana State.
Are you.

Speaker 6 (26:24):
Okay? Give me a in then forty eight? Indiana State three?

Speaker 1 (26:32):
Okay, sounds like a Kennesall State track meet again. Eastern Michigan, Kentucky.
It was a track meet with Kinnesall State, Eastern Michigan, Kentucky.

Speaker 6 (26:43):
Right. I like Kentucky to win thirty eight to seven.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
Okay. I went to their game last week, Steve, No,
you're a cardinal.

Speaker 6 (26:51):
Yeah, I know, he didn't.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
They played better. They played better than I thought it
was an interesting game. Evanson flows. Kentucky owned the first
honest fourteen minutes, and then next thing you know, Ole
Miss owned the next five or six. Then it's even
for a while the Kentucky made a move. Then it
was the funniest game to watch because you never knew

(27:14):
who can had the control of the game. And when
it was tend to nothing, I really thought Kentucky was
gonna win the game. They had no control. And then
on a fourth down play, one play changed the entire
complex of the game. Complexion of the game. One play
at fourth down competition where they threw that out pattern
changed the entire College is weird Texas A and M

(27:34):
Notre Dame. I'm not big on Notre Dame. I like
the new coach, but I'm not big on Notre Dame.
What do you think does Notre Dame get the first
win at home?

that the person that is the most consecutive, if most
consistent every week that has the most wins. I've got

key game for Notre Dame. Oh and two consink their
season at home must win. We'll have to wait and see. Adam,
I got you down, brother, and I took the under Adam,
I'm twenty six tennessee twenty one Georgia.

Speaker 7 (31:08):
Now, don't be changing the rules like you did last
time on me where I beat you twice in one year.

Speaker 1 (31:14):
Hold up now, hold up now, slow your rope everything.

Speaker 8 (31:20):
The times.

Speaker 7 (31:22):
Yeah, it was like yeah all the time.

Speaker 1 (31:46):
Landing, Welcome to the show. How are you?

Speaker 4 (31:50):
Good morning, Jerry and Coach Scotty is good to hear
you today. And the Great Shannon appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (31:57):
Why is it always a three? Why is it always
a great Shannon?

Speaker 4 (32:01):
Because he's he's an undefeated world heavyweight champion. That's why
I acknowledge that. See like like you don't.

Speaker 1 (32:10):
I don't acknowledge a C who wants to be the
tribal chief. And I'm not acknowledging Shannon until we get
in the ring.

Speaker 2 (32:18):
Period.

Speaker 4 (32:18):
What I could put both of you, you a C
and you in the ring, and Shannon would wear both
of you out.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
No, she would tell you personal he would. They wouldn't
get I would.

Speaker 4 (32:32):
They would walk up Shannon. Shannon would get arrested for
abuge Jerry would?

Speaker 1 (32:39):
He would? I agree? So let's get at it. Georgia, Tennessee.
Are you getting in the Briars bush? Are you fright?

Speaker 6 (32:45):
Well?

Speaker 4 (32:45):
Corset, that was you. I'm not gonna do no rig
bet with you, No boy, just chicken.

Speaker 1 (32:52):
I'm glad. Just call your some chicken.

Speaker 4 (32:55):
Cheated me last year too. I'm not doing that.

Speaker 1 (32:56):
No more gosh between you and all I know is
somebody told me the man with the gold rules period.
So let's go Georgia, Tennessee.

Speaker 4 (33:07):
What do you have, Jarry? I'm taking Georgia twenty eight,
Tennessee twenty four.

Speaker 1 (33:12):
Okay, boy, everybody likes this. We're twenty eight eighteen, we're
twenty thirty, we're thirty one, twenty four. I mean we're
right there. Everybody's close on where they think the score
is going to be. Indiana State, are you?

Speaker 8 (33:29):
Indiana forty five? Indiana State keen, Eastern Michigan, Kentucky. Big
Blue thirty will probably be starting.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
Big Blue thirty three, Eastern Michigan fourteen.

Speaker 1 (33:45):
Cutter Bowley will probably be starting. I'm not sure. Maybe
Shannon can fill us in if I'm wrong, but I
would expect to see the young kid get a little
bit more action. Saturday, Texas A and M Notre Dame.

Speaker 4 (33:57):
Notre Dame thirty one, Texas A and M twenty one
got you.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
And tell you why. Congratulations. I'm so glad she beats you.
You'll never win.

Speaker 4 (34:06):
Yeah, she's last week, but she had a better.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
Way, she had a better week. A lot of people
were four and oh last week, but it only there's
only one winner. We got to get the break. Seven
forty seven. Shannon, take us away. Yes, we'll talk to
you a little minute. Excuse me, Welcome back, to Eve
Sports Radio seven fifty. Shannon's been busy today. Let's get
straight first and foremost the five hundred dollars guys, Billy

(34:33):
Hayes Town and Country commonwef Dodge, thank you for sporting
the sports radio. Stepping in after Bluegrass sold out to
the German Group, Bill has stepped in and philed the void.
I really appreciating. I had never met Billy's my age
win to Kentucky. He was a track star, but his
dad lived at every little game. I hate to tell

(34:54):
you his dad probably lost a lot of money to
Coach Crumb because they used to play cards together and golf,
and Coach was good at both. That's all I'm gonna
tell people. But thanks Billy. If y'all need something, go
see Billy. A's without a doubt he can get you
whatever you need for a Dodge or foreign car. Let's go. Kevin,
welcome to the sports Ready. How are you?

Speaker 2 (35:16):
I'm good, Mysteries. How are you today?

Speaker 1 (35:19):
I'm good? I'm good, Mysteries. I like that sounds good.
I get disrespected so much on my show, but I
appreciate that.

Speaker 3 (35:26):
Kevin.

Speaker 2 (35:26):
I'm just as old as you are. But you know
I was raised, you have a little respect with people.
So that's that's a Southern gentleman.

Speaker 1 (35:37):
That's honestly, that's my dad saying told me the same
thing without a doubt. Let's go. I hate Honestly. I
had a few athletes on the show and they were
calling their coach by his first name. It just drove me.
God I could. I was like, oh my, somebody stop

(35:57):
this anyway, Kevin. The game that counts is Georgia Tennessee
at Tennessee. Are you getting in the briars bush with me?
Are you staying out?

Speaker 4 (36:07):
No?

Speaker 2 (36:07):
I think I'll get into bush with you this week.

Speaker 1 (36:10):
A chance to w money. Who's gonna win that game?

Speaker 2 (36:15):
Well, I think Tennessee. I saw the halftime score the
Georgia game last week, and I'm really surprised. Yeah, that
was so close. So I'm going with Tennessee and I'm
going thirty four to twenty seven.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
I'm definitely taking the under. I'm staying with the under.
I don't think people are scoring the points. I'm thirty
three twenty seven Tennessee. So we'll find out Indiana State,
are you Kevin.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Well? I was transplanted from Louisville to Indiana back in
the day. So I'm gonna have to go with those
Hoosiers and I'll say probably forty five to forty five
to thirteen. We had one of those generally, I know
you're five.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
Yeah you're good. Yeah, you're good. The only one that
cannot match is the Georgia Tennessee. We're gonna find out
on in Indiana next week. They've got a real game
coming in that's gonna be an interesting game for them.
Eastern Michigan Kentucky.

Speaker 2 (37:19):
I'm going with Kentucky, but I'm not even sure with
a team like that. I mean, they're off and on.
So I'm taking Kentucky and I'll go twenty seven to twelve.

Speaker 1 (37:33):
Got you Texas A and m at Notre Dame.

Speaker 2 (37:38):
I gotta go with Notre Dame on that one. I
know they've got a loss, but they lost to Miami,
and Miami may being for the championship this year.

Speaker 1 (37:46):
No, they're pretty good. I'm gonna go to the Louisville
Miami football game of the seventeenth October. Yeah, I think
that's gonna be a good game. Yep.

Speaker 2 (37:54):
Yeah, that's that's definitely gonna be a good game that
May that may determine that the champion the league.

Speaker 1 (38:01):
Yep, but I'm not saying Louisville that's good yet. But
I like Miami. Louis's got to play somebody competitive for
me to really evaluate them. They're in the paper today,
their defenses in the top ten, but guys, they play Trinity,
so it's really hard until they play someone. So we
have to wait and see. And that next week is
Bowling Green. It'll be week four or five before we
see a real challenge for Louisville Notre Dame in which.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
It seems like with this nil money and stuff, a
lot of the smaller schools are getting more competitive. There's
not a lot of these blowouts like normally every year.
I agree with Yeah, no, Notre Dame twenty seven in
Texas A and m sixteen.

Speaker 1 (38:45):
Gotcha. Appreciate you, Kevin. I gotta get to my last guy.
Take care. You have a great day, you too, Thanks, sir, Mike,
welcome to the show.

Speaker 4 (38:57):
Good morning.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
Yes, you're not gonna get your we're in today, Mike,
We're not even worried about that. You've got to go
back on that or you can send it to me.
But Mike, I want was I ducking you on the
golf course.

Speaker 2 (39:07):
Yes, no, no, you ain't ducking me.

Speaker 1 (39:13):
Think we can lock up again. We're gonna have a tournament.
We're gonna have a tournament Eve Sports Radio Golf at
the Cardinal Club. We're gonna do that. We're gonna do
that and anybody. We're gonna get a day. We'll get
it in the afternoon during the week or maybe later
in the afternoon where I can get out through four

(39:33):
groups on a Saturday or Sunday, get us nine holes
in and we'll see who's the chair.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
Who is that chap?

Speaker 1 (39:40):
That sounds good, you Anderson.

Speaker 2 (39:44):
I'm gonna my money.

Speaker 4 (39:46):
That's that's fine. I want another shot.

Speaker 6 (39:49):
And then if I if me, you and.

Speaker 3 (39:52):
Frank and Anthony go out, I'll take Frankie.

Speaker 2 (39:55):
You can have Anthony.

Speaker 1 (39:56):
Okay, that's fine, no problem. We not frighten. Honestly, you've
seen Franks a good player. He's a member at Big
Springs and Harmony Landing. He plays a lot. Anthony's working
now with the same man's fire department. So he was
up all last night studying that book. I was laughing.
He had no idea they work those guys. Guys, those

(40:17):
guys respect fireman. It's all I can tell you that.

Speaker 8 (40:20):
Yeah, two buddies are retired from the fire department.

Speaker 6 (40:24):
Yes, yeah, nothing but respect.

Speaker 1 (40:26):
Nothing but respect. But he can hit it a ton.
So we're gonna have that. We're gonna have that tournament
because I got it Mike from Lexing. Now he's on
your cat, but he's from Lexington. You know, I boo
on both of you. Boo boom. How you like it.

Speaker 4 (40:44):
I want to know when you're gonna jump in the
ring with Shannon and Quick Duck and Shannon.

Speaker 1 (40:50):
See now you had to go get personal. At the
end of the time. I like playing golf.

Speaker 5 (40:55):
Guys.

Speaker 1 (40:55):
We gotta go. Mike. I love you man. Your scores
might and I'll fill them out for everybody tomorrow morning.
See your brother. It's the sports radio guys. We're having
a lot of fun. Have a wonderful day. Put a
smile on your face or you're not fully dressed. Love you,
Bye bye.
