Speaker 1 (00:00):
Welcome back to Eves Sports Radio. September third, twenty twenty five.
Of course it's Wednesday, Yes, it is hump Day. Hopefully
we will get a little rain. It's been sixteen days
without a drop in my yard is awful. So I
need Gods great, I need God's irrigation system to kick
in tonight. But welcome back to eve Sports Radio. Just
(00:21):
thought i'd give you a little tidbit. First and foremost,
let me get my co host on. Well, first and foremost,
let's get all the business out of the way. The
phone number is five zero two, five seven one seventy
nine hundred. That's five zero two seventy nine hundred. We've
got scores to get in for this week. I have
last week's winner of Charlie that won fifty dollars. It's
(00:42):
seventy five this week. Sorry for the inconvenience yesterday. Things happen.
But first and foremost, let me bring on my co
host Anthony to the show. Anthony, how you doing you
calm down from yesterday? I don't know that depends. I
mean the way you were killing Miller Mo. You killed
Miller Moss and you even tried to kill kid. You
(01:03):
kill kid Tuck. Y'all, you killed both talking about your
Duke Blue Devils, Anthony, they stink. Come on, man, Duke
and football.
Speaker 2 (01:11):
I wasn't.
Speaker 3 (01:14):
My team lost. Okay, those other two teams did win
their games. I'm not getting them hated.
Speaker 1 (01:19):
Thank you, thank you. I just want to make sure
you understand Duke just well, we'll find out. We're going
to talk about both those teams today. But you know,
I got a call for Miller Okay, I got a
call for Miller mosson Miller Moss said that he wanted
you to slowest role. He's going to show you that
he can play. Now, Anthony, we got to get right
to it. I got to get my first caller on,
(01:40):
so I need to get him on right away. Steve,
Welcome to the sports radio. How are you, poor Jerry?
Speaker 4 (01:45):
How you doing, Steve?
Speaker 1 (01:46):
I'm good, brother.
Speaker 4 (01:47):
How you I'm doing great? Man.
Speaker 1 (01:52):
I know you were mighty close, Yester, last game, Steve,
mighty close, mighty close to winning the money. Mighty close.
I mean they're only about four of you that were
three and one last week. That's the first week that
I did not have a four and oh in the
first week, first time ever doing this I did not
have a four and oh, no one went four and
oh it was a tough week last week. But let's
(02:13):
get to it. Since you're the first caller, you get
to dictate the game, Steve, that will be the game.
So let's get right with it. First game is Ole
Miss at Kentucky. Of course, you know Kentucky did beat
them last week. I'm gonna talk last year. Excuse me,
I'm going to talk about that. Yes, and Ole Miss.
So what do you think, Oh Miss.
Speaker 4 (02:35):
In the country, right, I oh Miss to win thirty
four twenty one?
Speaker 1 (02:41):
Is that gonna be your game? It's called? Okay, okay,
all right, let's go to James Madison Louisville. Is that
gonna be your game?
Speaker 4 (02:54):
Yes, sir?
Speaker 1 (02:55):
First, okay, great. The James Madison Louisville game is the
game that everyone will be competing with this week. So
give me the score. James Madison won Bete Weaver State.
James Madison. Is that bad? I said? Track me. Last
week it could have been eighty to whatever, it could
have been eighty to fourteen, it could have been. But
(03:17):
this week, maybe this Friday night could be a little different.
What do you think the score is? Going to be
I don't know the spreads, but I have no idea.
I have no idea what the spread is.
Speaker 4 (03:27):
The spread is about this. I think it's that's well,
I don't know. Okay, Yeah, I'm sorry, Okay, I don't know.
Lowell will win thirty eight to twenty one.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
Okay, Okay, competitive game thirty eight twenty one. That is
the game this week. You will. I've got Kennesaw State, I.
Speaker 4 (03:50):
U can I you to win forty three to seven.
Speaker 1 (03:54):
Okay, it might be closer than that, Steve, you don't
be surprised. I look at Kenness, so don't be surprised.
Michigan Oklahoma Big game two big game.
Speaker 4 (04:07):
It is two components.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
I like.
Speaker 4 (04:10):
I like Oklahoma to win twenty seven of twenty.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
Okay, I've got you in. Yeah. I'm looking forward to
seeing the Bryce Underwood kid play. Heard all about him,
all the hype, all the money that was paid to
getting to go to Michigan. Had a decent first week
twenty one for thirty one fifty yards. So I do
want to watch him play this week. But Steve, I've
got you in, brother, Thank you.
Speaker 4 (04:32):
Okay, have good day, Thank you all.
Speaker 1 (04:36):
So Anthony got a first caller in. I do want
people to know that, yes, the person that said he
wasn't going to compete, AC did Sydney's scores. Anthony, I
told you he did send me a scores. But Ac,
what a character. So now, guys, we're playing for seventy
five dollars this week. Like I told you, there was
(04:57):
a gentleman last week that only sent me the one score,
which this week will be James Madison and Louisville. You
got credit for one win for the end of the year,
but you didn't get credit for any of the others,
and you could not win contests because people had more wins.
So please, I need all the scores. So it's already
(05:17):
seventeen and we've got a pretty big week I think
again college football. That's the first time I've been doing
this contest, and I don't know how long, but long time.
And it's the first week that no one went four
and oh. Last week, not one person picked every game,
and usually Anthony. In week one, I'd say seventy five
(05:37):
percent of the people were four and oh. Being honest
with you, they get picked all the games. But things
are changing now that these conference realignments. Things are changing
so it's more competitive, which is good. Okay, Satiny, Yes,
let's get to our second call an, Greg, welcome to
the sports radio. How are you, dood good man?
Speaker 2 (05:56):
How are you?
Speaker 1 (05:57):
Greg? I'm good, appreciate you listening and trying to have
a opportunity to win some of this money. That's all
seventy five dollars this week. Greg, if you don't gamble
against me, Steve never gambles against me. I know, not
even ask you, but if you want to, you can
go to one hundred. If you want me to get involved.
People stay away from me, Greg, I'm the best, so
(06:17):
it's best you stay away from me also. But let's
get with it, all right, all right? Look, oh the
game that counts James Madison, Louisville. What's your score?
Speaker 2 (06:28):
I think Louisill wins. Uh probably forty two twenty one.
Speaker 1 (06:34):
Okay, Ole Miss Kentucky.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Oh, Mississippi is gonna win going away. They got revenge
and they got Kiffing. So I'm gonna say Mississippi thirty five,
Kentucky seventeen.
Speaker 1 (06:50):
You know what. And Kiffen is a great offensive mind.
People said the same thing last year in Kentucky taped
that tail. I'm telling you you never know. You never
know when his team's gonna live, when they're gonna lan
in aid. Lane's tightans have been known to Lane. I
mean I like him. I mean they score, they're they're
but defensively they're always shady. Can take your rent all
(07:11):
over them last year. But we have to wait and see.
It's gonna be a competitive I'm going to that game,
so I'll be there. Let's go to tennessall state. I U.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Indiana wins. I'll say, uh thirty one thirteen.
Speaker 1 (07:26):
Gotcha. Last game, which is the national game, Michigan.
Speaker 2 (07:31):
Oklahoma ain't gonna beat that SCC Spoomer center. Baby, I'll say,
I'm gonna say Oklahoma wins twenty eight, twenty four.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
Okay, I just want to watch a quarterback against Vinible's defense.
You know Vinible is always either Clemson. I want to
see what happened to Bryce Young against that defense. I do.
Speaker 2 (07:58):
I'm gonna say you this too. Do not sleep on
my volunteers. They got a quarterback, they got out, They
got lucky getting rid of Nico aguilar Is. He's he
his his big achilles on the pass have been throwing pigs.
But in Hypels system. They said, short quick passes, and
it hit that deep ball. Man, he hit it. So
I feel good about Tennessee.
Speaker 1 (08:19):
Ye, I have to watch him. I did not pay attention.
I know they beat Syracuse pretty good, which expect. Yeah,
but I didn't watch a minute of the game. I
did not see a minute, you know.
Speaker 2 (08:28):
But Jerry, you know what that there was a lot
of experts that were saying that they're picking as an
upset because of Tennessee's quarterback situation. They might have the
best three running backs in the country as far as
the room, and they had two hundred and forty seven
yards passing and two hundred and forty six yards rushing.
Speaker 1 (08:47):
M Well, is that now? My son, who's on the
other line, cou'd say that's goose Syracuse is bad. I
don't know. Well, it's it's Tennessee's go back.
Speaker 2 (08:58):
Go back and look at go back and look at
high fos Kams. Since he's been there, they're rushing his
No one talks about it because they're pass attack. But
I'm telling you, man, there's three there are three running
backs are the league? Shit?
Speaker 1 (09:09):
Yes? Is the gentleman there from last year back? Because
they had the best running back in then SCC.
Speaker 5 (09:13):
Last year's gone gone, but they got Sewan Bishop to.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
It was his running his back out man. He looks good.
And they got a freshman named Star that led him
in rushing. And they played without their best five star
offensive lineman, their best defensive back who's one of the
best in the country. And they were missing another key player, receiver,
so Blue Carter, who's one of their best probably all
(09:39):
around players.
Speaker 1 (09:40):
So yeah, we're watching. We're gonna watch those balls. As
you well know, I will keep my eye on them.
And you know, I always appreciate you for calling in
listening to this show, Brad, thank you for your input
and Eavesports Radio be what it is. But I'm not
gonna say go balls today, not today, guys. Let's we
(10:00):
gotta get the break. I've already got a young lady
that went to school with me, Anthony at Ballad. She's
part of Ballat Nation. She was a swimmer. Her dad,
mister Stone, huge Louisville Booster. I mean, even when I
went to Anthony that far back, she's gonna come on
talking about swim around America. So Anthony, they're gonna do
something to me on Saturday I don't know what, but
(10:22):
we'll talk about it after the break. I have Pam
Stone on with EVE Sports Radio. After the break, Welcome
back to Eves Sports Radio. Yes, it is the third
of September. Unbelievable. August is gone. Twenty twenty five, Wednesday.
Hope everyone's having a fantastic morning. I am and the
(10:44):
phone lines are like the Atlanta Airport and I'm going
to get to them. But Anthony, let me tell you something.
This young lady went to school with me, Anthony. She
was telling everyone what to do at Ballard. That's when
she was Pam Stone. Now she's Pam Ryan. I feel
for her husband because I know, I know she's been
running him, Anthony. That's all there is to it. She's
been doing this her entire life. So let's just do this, Rick.
(11:06):
Let's bring on the one and only Pam Stone, which
is now Pam Ryan to eat Sports Radio. Pam, how
are you? How are you doing?
Speaker 6 (11:13):
I am great, Jerry, that's quite the introduction.
Speaker 4 (11:17):
This is the truth.
Speaker 1 (11:18):
That's the truth. I know it's the truth. For joh husband,
poor man. Let me talk to that man. No, Pam
is great. Heaving you on. Haven't spoke we've seen each
other at reunions. But it's been Pam. You know, it's
been like forty five, forty six years since we set
it Valor together. So time has passed quickly, yes.
Speaker 6 (11:39):
It has. But the best of memories the state championships
and then you and l you're right into the national championship.
But I just remember you helping me out in biology. Jerry,
you dissect in my first room. I never would to
be where I am when the past biology.
Speaker 1 (11:57):
Theology wouldn't cut that word. I cut the worm. I
can care less. I know that that's the only thing
I helped you with. Pam, you were an excellent student
and you're done a tremendous job. But let's get into it. Pam,
you've got your second annual this Swim Across America. Explain
to people what this is.
Speaker 6 (12:18):
Well, Swim Across America is an organization. I live in
Boston now and went to college up here, and it
is thirty five years old, and we do swims in
various communities that have excellent cancer research. So we're into
our thirty fifth year and Louisville is our twenty fifth swim.
(12:38):
We've raised over one hundred and twenty five million dollars
over the over the years, and we've really made a
difference in very early stage grants. We picked Louisville one
because it's an excellent cancer research hospital at Brown, it's
the top, top top, But also, I mean, I feel
like it's a great swimming community. It's not race and
(13:01):
it's an ability to raise money by just hopping in
a pool at blair Wood, where the proceeds go directly
to very early stage cancer research. The money we raise
states absolutely local. There's no overhead, it goes directly to
the researcher. So you know, in a nutshell, last year
was our first year and we made a seventy five
thousand dollars grant to a doctor at Brown Cancer Center.
(13:24):
Her name's Kavitha, and she's doing a really miraculous job
in melanoma research, a real breakthrough. So I'm really excited
to see what we can do this year.
Speaker 1 (13:35):
No, I am too. My sister, of course, had two
bone marrow transplants. Donna EA's was the ballot before you
and I got there, and she was a microbiologist. University
of Louisville got a periods to be development and she
died of cancer. I lived in the Brown Cancer Center
numerous nights. I'm being honest with you so and it's
a great, great opportunity for us to do it. Tell
(13:57):
people what you're gonna have me do? What do you
need me to do on Saturday morning.
Speaker 6 (14:01):
To create after you, you know, do your three miles swim. No, really,
this is all about the volunteering and donating. What we
really thought is we've we've got a battle of Bruin's
team going and Jerry's been you know, he's in such
great shape. He's actually gonna dunk some water basketball and
(14:23):
anybody who wants to can challenge him to a game.
But we're just gonna have everybody participate, cheer. It's at
blair Wood and they've been very generous to donate their
beautiful facility. It's the Genesis Blairwood Tennis and Swim Club,
theree it's down Hirstburn Lane and it's right off Hurstburn Lane.
(14:46):
And it's not again I was you know, you said
I was a swimmer, but I was a diver. And
Kurt Dame, who lives locally, Kurt's heading up the whole
thing in Louisville, and he was a diver, and so
it's really not about a race or swimming. It's just
about a plunge for a great cause and a local
car get touches and then you know the thing is
(15:07):
it touches everybody, every family, and we've got to get
rid of it.
Speaker 1 (15:11):
We have to get rid. What time does this start?
What time does this start?
Speaker 6 (15:14):
Absolutely check in is it eight fifteen? And we'll have
a welcome ceremony at nine. You'll be completely on your
way by ten thirty. And I think you'll leave just
feeling full of spirit, with a swim cap and a
towel and a bright red T shirt that you can
sport it all the U of L games go cards,
(15:35):
so I think people will really enjoy it.
Speaker 1 (15:38):
I'll take you to the Kentucky game with me on Saturday,
so that'll be great.
Speaker 6 (15:42):
People who want to get involved, you know, and sign
up in advance. It is peer to peer fundraising. That's
how we raise the money. Every teeny little bit helps.
It's really like this year we'll have over ten thousand
participants nationally, So the more the merrier. And I know
some races have big minimums and stuff like that, we don't.
(16:05):
We just want you to register and have the spirit
of it. So Jerry, what's the best way? Do they
just call me? They can go to our website.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
You can you give them both, give them your website
and also that number.
Speaker 6 (16:20):
Okay, here we go. Our website is swim across America
dot org. Hopefully you'll see a bunch of flyers again.
It's swim across America dot org. Just navigategate to Louisville.
And if you want to call me my number and
please do six one seven sorry, it's box the number
six one seven nine oh one four three nine five.
(16:44):
I'd love to talk to anybody all about it. I'm
really grateful for you, Jerry, for being such a wonderful
supporter of everything in the community and now this so
thank you.
Speaker 1 (16:55):
Thank you, Pam. And we've got great memories and I
will see you Saturday morning.
Speaker 6 (17:00):
I look forward to it.
Speaker 1 (17:02):
Thank you, my Pam, Pam Ryan, which is Pam Stone.
So Anthony, you're still with me, brother, you're hanging in there.
I'm here. Okay, here's the deal. We've got our winner
on the line from last week. His name is Charlie.
And Anthony and your brother and I were on the
(17:22):
amazing race running through Trinidad. I swear I looked over
and I thought I saw Charlie sitting there, drinking on
my tie, just relaxing. You know, he's big money. I
don't know why Charlie wanted my fifty dollars, but he
got it. But do me a favor, bring Charlie on
the show, Anthony. You know Charlie. I'm just not gonna
give out his last name, but he's big time. His
(17:43):
son and daughter of doctors. Charlie lives a life. Charlie,
how are you really good?
Speaker 4 (17:48):
Jared?
Speaker 7 (17:48):
Glad to be on your show, Glad to be your winner.
I'm glad to take your money. You know it's hard
to get money out of you.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
You don't need it, Charlie, exactly. I don't know how
you pulled it off. You're the last person that need it.
But again, I want to make sure no last things
but Charlie's family. Tremendous job, kids and doctors. Charlie. You've
done a fantastic job with your family. I just want
to appreciate you for that and everything you've done. Now
(18:16):
your wife is from Trinidad, Charlie, and we are going
you are supposed to be taking us. You're supposed to
be the tour guide. When's that going to happen?
Speaker 7 (18:23):
Yep, we hope next summer. Hope you and your family
can go and I set up everything down in Trinidad
and maybe hope talk to some people down there. They'll
let you know that you're coming back to y'all was
in the race and they might do something for you
and Alfing, well, let's try.
Speaker 1 (18:39):
To do that. But we're gonna make it back. So Charlie,
you were in my winter, you were received the fifty bones.
You have to make sure you leave your address with
my producer Rick and I'll get that out to you.
And you are now like the third or fourth caller,
So I'm ready to get your scores for this week.
As you well know, you had three wins. There were
four people with three wins. The wins add Charlie. So
(19:03):
the more the person that has the most wins, that
is the most consistent. No wagering against Jerry Eves, no
backside game. Five hundred bones at the end of the year,
so you can't beat it. So let's get with it.
You have got the game of the week. Our first caller,
Steve made it is James Madison, Louisville.
Speaker 7 (19:21):
What you score level sixty two to seven.
Speaker 1 (19:26):
Oh, you're not gonna win that one. James Madison's better
than that, you'll see. But I'm not gonna give you
any more money. Chill. I'm glad you. That's a good pick. Charlie,
that's a good pick. You'll see Old Miss Kentucky. Kentucky
defeated him last year, Old Miss Kentucky.
Speaker 7 (19:43):
Now I take that's gonna be a good one, Derek.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
Game that people think.
Speaker 7 (19:53):
I take Kentucky twenty one to the eighteen.
Speaker 1 (19:56):
Okay, gonna be a better game than people think. I
think Old Miss wins. But I think it's gonna be
a better game than people expect. Kennesaul State, Indiana, Indiana
forty eight twenty one. Okay, last game, I mean the
game of the week, Michigan, Oklahoma. Get to watch the
Bryce Underwood quarterback with your.
Speaker 7 (20:18):
Score, Michigan twenty eight fourteen.
Speaker 1 (20:23):
Okay, gotcha. Charlie appreciate it. Rick will get your information.
Rick get his information, and Charlie might not ever see
that fifth. Yes you are, Charlie, Yes you are. I'm
gonna send you fifth. You're the last version of the
need of Charlie.
Speaker 7 (20:36):
But you've got it, and when I get it, I'll
believe it.
Speaker 1 (20:44):
You better fright it, Charlie. I've got people that said, Charlie,
I got people to say, Jerry, you gotta pay me cash.
I don't believe in your checks anyway. Thanks for calling, Charlie.
Appreciate it all right, take care.
Speaker 8 (20:58):
Thanks, Thank you.
Speaker 1 (21:00):
So as any Now that we've talked about it, what
do you think with this Kentucky game? Kentucky Old Miss?
We talked about it this morning. Kentucky up seven. Last year,
everybody thought it was gonna be a runaway lane Kevin's offense,
which is true. Kentucky popped him last year. What do
you think happens?
Speaker 3 (21:19):
I still think.
Speaker 8 (21:20):
It's an upset this year.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
I don't actually, I don't say an upset. I still
think Old Miss will still win even come to Kentucky.
I'm just not I'm not sold on the quarterback. I
just didn't see enough even in Week one.
Speaker 9 (21:31):
I know I gave him a lot of hate last week,
and I was kind of bashing a little bit. I
would say if Old Miss was playing Louisville, I have
more faith in Louisville than I do in UK right now,
I just I didn't see it. I'm super explosive. I
didn't see a super explosive run game.
Speaker 3 (21:45):
The past game.
Speaker 1 (21:47):
Really wasn't there for me.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
I didn't I hardly saw it at all.
Speaker 1 (21:49):
The past game wasn't there. The game they rushed over
twenty yards. They rushed over twenty yards. Now the past
game was not there. They passed for eighty five yards.
Kentucky did the run game.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
Louisville's run game is explosive. UK just ran the ball
because they were just drain and clock.
Speaker 1 (22:05):
Okay, I got now here's here's what you said, and
I'm gonna hitch you with it. Is it because they
were playing EKU that they had six five touchdowns or
four touchdownds of over fifty yards? Was that because of.
Speaker 8 (22:17):
Toledo?
Speaker 9 (22:17):
Isn't that great either?
Speaker 1 (22:20):
You're not gonna say you don't. We don't find out
that you did.
Speaker 3 (22:27):
They're an SEC team. They're an SEC team.
Speaker 1 (22:29):
That's no. It should be better.
Speaker 3 (22:32):
Supposed to be a walk in the park. I don't
care if you're the worst in the SEC.
Speaker 1 (22:35):
Or Mississippi State. They weren't to walk in the park
to beat them, So why you keep knocking them when
they've already been and you we both acknowledge the SEC
is a good conference they be. Are you talking about
Mississippi State.
Speaker 3 (22:49):
Last year? That's not the same team I told you
have the team.
Speaker 1 (22:52):
The last shouldn't be a shocker. It shouldn't be a
shocker to you that they're decent. That's all I'm saying
you them all the way down to the Eastern level.
Eastern hadn't beat anybody. Ever.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
I didn't say I said. I said the skill level
comparison to the conference, the n SEC playing Toledo is
like U of L playing e k U kind of
what it is.
Speaker 1 (23:14):
Louisville ACCS is not as good. Louisville is a better team.
Speaker 3 (23:17):
Than a SEC. So obviously they walked through Eastern Kentucky.
But even Kentucky I've been one of the better teams
in the SEC, they still can get SEC caliber players.
Speaker 1 (23:25):
Okay, I got you. I see what you're trying to say. Okay,
I'll let you just lie. So you're gonna go with
old Miss where we get to break? Is that what
you're saying I'm going with.
Speaker 3 (23:33):
Yes, I'm going with old Miss.
Speaker 1 (23:35):
Okay, Well, let me see we're gonna see what you know, Anthony.
Give me your score before we go to break. I
didn't get yours last week. But yeah, you can't win,
as you well know. But let me hear what you've got.
Give me James Madison, Louisville. I'll find out what you know.
I'd say Louisville forty.
Speaker 3 (23:51):
Two, James Madison seventeen.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
Old Miss Kentucky old Miss.
Speaker 8 (24:00):
Because I have I.
Speaker 3 (24:01):
Haven't seen their offense as much. I probably say thirty five.
Speaker 1 (24:04):
Or fourteen mm. But you, I mean, I think people
would take that wager on you, Anthony, But giving up
those many points.
Speaker 3 (24:14):
Kennesau State, Indiana, Indiana, I think Indiana fifty five, Kinnesau
State too.
Speaker 1 (24:23):
Okay, I don't like that score. Even Michigan Oklahoma.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
This one I think will be a tough one. I say,
I say Michigan twenty seven, Ou twenty.
Speaker 1 (24:34):
Four, and oh you now I want you to know
it is at Oklahoma. Staying with your score.
Speaker 3 (24:40):
I'm still staying with it.
Speaker 1 (24:42):
Okay, gotcha. Well, we're gonna get to break. I think
people are gonna be surprised, Anthony. I think oh Miss wins,
but I think it'll be a very competitive game. I
think the Knnesaul Louisville game will be closer than people
think Kennesall, I mean, excuse me, the James Madison Louisville
game will be a better game. I mean, Louisville's gonna win, yes,
(25:04):
but honestly, I think that they will be challenged more
than the last Saturday EKU game. So we have to
wait and see. Let's get the break. Seven thirty four.
This is the sports radio phone numbers five zero two
five seven one seventy nine hundred. You must get your
scores in if you email them to me last week,
you must call in this week again. You've got the
(25:26):
phone number five zero two five seven to one seventy
nine hundred or J L E A V E S
five five five at yahoo dot com to submit your scores.
We'll talk to you all after the break. Welcome back
to EVE Sports Radio, Anthony seven thirty eight. We've got
(25:46):
them lined up like the Atlanta Airport. Everybody wants this
free money, free money. And I didn't ask Charlie if
he was gonna gamble against me, So I will send
him a little message and see if he wants to
a risk going against the chant. But we got people waiting, Anthony.
So here's the priman with your analogy. Yes, you're giving
(26:07):
the SEC credit because you're saying they should be good
best conference in football. In my opinion, it's hard to
say that with the Big Ten winning the last two
college football playoffs but still top to bottom of the SEC.
So you're saying, and you expect Kentucky should beat the
Toledos because of that. I got you. That's I mean,
(26:30):
I understand what you're saying, but it just makes it,
it makes it unfair. That just means the SEC has
to be the best always. So we'll see. We're gonna
get our next caller, see what he thinks with his scores. Brandon,
Welcome to the sports radio. How are you, Brandon? How
are you? I'm doing good mine. Can you hear me?
(26:53):
I sure can't hear you loud and clear. Let's get
with it. The game that counts is James Madison Louisville
this week. So give me your score and are you
going to gamble against me? Oh? Yeah, yeah, you're easy.
I'm easy, okay. I would waiting for you. I've been
waiting for you. Let's go James.
Speaker 4 (27:10):
Louis All right, let's go thirty eight, the twenty Louisville.
Speaker 1 (27:17):
Okay, I'm taking that's a good score. You know that's
a good score. I'm taking Louisville and the thirty seven
to twenty. That's fifty seven points I'm taking. I'm taking
the under I'm going thirty nine. I'm going thirty nine
(27:39):
to twenty. I'm going thirty nine to twenty. I took
the over I took the over all. I did fifty
nine points. Okay, let's get to ole, Miss Kentucky. I'm
going to both games. What do you think.
Speaker 8 (27:49):
Let's go, oh miss Okay, and.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
Let's go thirty one twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (27:57):
Okay. I like that score. I mean no one thought
you too. It was gonna win last year. Beat the
brakes off of him. So we'll see kennesas State.
Speaker 5 (28:06):
Are you.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
Let's go.
Speaker 7 (28:09):
I you in a blowout.
Speaker 8 (28:10):
Let's go h forty two to nothing.
Speaker 1 (28:14):
Too much, Miss how you didn't play well last week.
Just wanted to let you know.
Speaker 3 (28:20):
That I know that you want to bring it up.
Speaker 5 (28:23):
That's last week.
Speaker 8 (28:23):
Let's move on.
Speaker 1 (28:27):
Somebody sensitive.
Speaker 3 (28:30):
We don't watch them on what we did wrong.
Speaker 8 (28:31):
We let our hatred for sec getting our judgment. We
can't do it about money, about Jerry's money.
Speaker 3 (28:38):
We all know, we all know he lives in the
past when it comes to scores.
Speaker 1 (28:42):
Absolutely, you gotta know your history. Michigan Tolito did last year.
That's right, exactly.
Speaker 3 (28:51):
No one's worried about Palito football from last year.
Speaker 1 (28:54):
Okay, to be honest, be honest, Brandon Mac football is
good football, don't you agree? And he's young Mac football Mac.
Speaker 8 (29:06):
Okay, I think Mac is good.
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Mac get good compared to the other bottom tier.
Speaker 8 (29:11):
But SD I mean I messed up. I took Toledo
because I hate Kentucky that much. I shouldn't have done that.
Speaker 7 (29:17):
I won't do it going forward.
Speaker 1 (29:19):
Okay, there, you gonna lost your money over See, hate
doesn't I did it.
Speaker 5 (29:24):
I did it, Mischi.
Speaker 8 (29:31):
Let's go Oklahoma, and let's go twenty twenty four.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
To twenty Okay, twenty four twenty I've got you. Yeah,
that hatred lost your money.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
I'm so good, but I'm coming for it this time.
Speaker 8 (29:46):
I'm coming to get your money.
Speaker 1 (29:48):
Okay, Well, we're gonna continue to add him up. I
appreciate you being consistent. At the end of the year,
whoever has the most wins that is the most consistent,
which means each week wins five hundred bucks. You don't
even have to gamble against me. So there we go.
But I've got you and I'm taking the over on
that school.
Speaker 10 (30:06):
Appreciate good buddy, Thank you, my man. Take care, Bye bye.
Brandon's funny boy, Anthony. At least he was honest. He said,
the hatred, the hatred. Hey, hey, that's what you get.
You know, you have to evaluate this. This is about money, Anthony.
Speaker 1 (30:22):
This isn't about your favorite That's why I love when
you put money on it. It takes out most of
the time the hatred. People want the money more than
they do. They're trying to pick properly, Anthony. That's why
I like this. So let's get to our next calling.
We got Kevin waiting. Kevin, welcome to Esports Radio.
Speaker 8 (30:39):
How are you more than misters? How are you great?
To hear from you?
Speaker 1 (30:43):
Great to hear from you, sir. I appreciate you calling.
I just need to know if you're gonna add to
the show. I mean we've been I'm getting a little
bit of everything. I got Cardinal fans, I got cat fans,
I got IU fans, I got Tennessee fans, I'm starting
to get a little bit of everything, especially with this.
Speaker 8 (30:59):
Iut I'm a bloomer sooner, but I'm gonna be disappointed
this week.
Speaker 1 (31:04):
We'll go with Michigan then try to win the money.
We have to wait and.
Speaker 8 (31:07):
Yeah, I don't we know we're gonna do it this week.
Speaker 1 (31:10):
Unfortunately, we'll find out. Let's go with the game that counts.
You've got James Madison at Louisville Friday night. I do
not know the line. I have no idea when I
told Steve that, I do not.
Speaker 8 (31:23):
Okay, we'll go Louisville forty five. Uh, this aid twenty seven.
Speaker 1 (31:30):
Let me make sure I just remember forty five. I've
got sixty. I've got forty five seventeen. Y're okay. Thirty eight,
twenty one, we're good. Forty two seventeen, we're good. Forty two, Yeah,
we're good. Okay, We're fine. All right. Then let's go
to old Miss Kentucky. Oh, no, are you gonna gamble
against me.

Speaker 1 (31:53):
Okay? They boy, aren't you something with my head? Here?
That with my mind? Okay? Kevin, Oh Miss Kentucky.
Speaker 8 (32:02):
Kentucky's a basketball school, no matter what they say. So
Ole Miss twenty three seventeen.
Speaker 1 (32:10):
Okay, competitive score. You do know Kentucky went last year.
There's supposed to gotten routed, supposed to have been a
route at in Oxford. There was supposed to run over
Kentucky last year.
Speaker 8 (32:20):
And can't see it. I mean, Toledo's all right, but
they didn't do nothing to impress me last week. They
should have gone to school like that out of there
about anything.
Speaker 1 (32:32):
Okay, everybody says that no one wants to give the
Makids to do. But okay, I'm not gonna talk about
last year. Anthony's killed me. Everybody's killed me about telling
you what happened. So I'm not gonna give you any
more information. Kennesaw State, I you.
Speaker 8 (32:47):
I'll take Indy and fifty two. Kennesaw State seventeen.
Speaker 1 (32:54):
I mean, it doesn't matter because these games only mean
if you win. But that's close to another score. I've
had fifty five. Yeah, okay, last game Michigan Oklahoma.
Speaker 8 (33:04):
Like I said, I'm a little more similar, but.
Speaker 1 (33:08):
Oh I lost you. Sorry, yes, sorry, but Kevin, I
didn't hear your score. If you can hear me, yes,
I hear you now, yes, what's that score?
Speaker 8 (33:18):
Okay, Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to take Michigan twenty seven, Oklahoma.
Speaker 1 (33:26):
Twenty one, Michigan twenty seven, Oklahoma twenty one. Not messing
with the brand. You're gonna gamble with my money next
week after you win it. Kevin, I've got you, Lester,
