just told you all I wanted to explain things to
you owe and I think a lot of people wrong

the commissioner of the WNBA, and she had just was injured.
She had complaints with the officials, and she had complaints
with a lot of people and the league. So I
just wanted to give you all the perspective I would understand.
I did play in the NBA, and I'm going to
give you a person. After I let you listen to her,
I'm going to tell you about what some of the

talking ds said and what they thought should have happened.
And then I'm going to explain to you why she
was grossly wrong and inaccurate with her statements, which contradicts
almost every talking head on television. So Shannon, do me

I want to be clear, this conversation is not about
winning or losing. It's about something much bigger. The real
threat to our league isn't money. It isn't ratings or
even miss calls, or even physical play. It's the lack
of accountability from the league office. Since I've been in
the league, you've heard the constant concerns about officiating, and
it has now reached levels of inconsistency that plague our

sport and undermine the integrity in which it operates. Whether
the league cares about the health of the players is
one thing, but to also not care about the product
we put on the floor is truly self sabotage year
off to year. The only thing that remains consistent is
the lack of accountability from our leaders. At unarrivaled this
past February, I sat across from Kathy and asked how

she planned to address the officiating issues in our league.
Her response was, while only the losers complain about the refs.
I also asked how she plan to fix the fact
that players like Caitlin Angel and Page, who are clearly
driving massive revenue for the league, are making so little
for their first four years. Her response was, Caitlyn should
be grateful she makes sixty million off the court, because

without the platform that the WNBA gives her, she wouldn't
make anything. And in that same conversation, she told me
players should be on their knees thanking they're lucky stars
for the media rite steal that I got them. That's
mentality driving our lead from the shop.

of the complaints. IFIA call you, if you don't know,
everyone's not a WNBA fans multi MVP, maybe the second
best player in the league. She's established Okay, she was
injured in a game two days ago. Three days ago,

the ball first, no contact, there was a little contact
after she had deflected the ball. The officials did not
call it. The young lady lays it in and ifi

doing it in my entire life. It you could have said, yeah,
maybe blown, and you could have said with the NBA.
The NBA are so they're honest with that that if

statement in front of the world after the game about
everything the WNBA has done wrong, okay, and how they're
always being mistreated. So facts I steal away from all
the feelings Stephen A. Smith, all the talking heads. I'm

telling you, mad dog everyone. Kathy Ingelbert, the commissioner should
be fired. She didn't come back at her. She didn't
publicly say that Theficia Collier is not telling the truth.
And that's not how the conversation went, and she should have.

to sell what we would say newspapers, but they're trying

not to the way that it's happened the last two years.

they do how they're being mistreated compared to the NBA.
I played in the NBA, So I'm going to give

The NBA was established in nineteen forty six, forty seven. Okay,
the starting salary was eight thousand bucks for some high

In nineteen eighty two, which was thirty six years after
the NBA's existence started, I made forty thousand dollars. I
was the fifty fifth or fifty six players selected. Okay,

that's pretty good, guys, forty thousand dollars. There was no negotiation.
I was happy to have a two year deal at
forty and forty. Happy as a lark the league. It
was the first time that we were speaking about striking.
Adrian Dantley was our highest paid player, the young man

from Notre Dame. He made five hundred thousand dollars nineteen
eighty two. So I went to the inflation indicator because
I just wanted to find out the inflation indicator. You
have to understand, this is thirty six years in the league.
The WNBA has been in existence twenty nine years, okay,

from nineteen ninety six to today, twenty nine years. So minus
thirty six years inflation indicator, I would make one hundred
and thirty three thousand, six hundred dollars inflation indicator three
point three four percent. The WNBA players in their twenty
ninth year are at seventy nine thousand. Okay, there's seven

years removed, seven years of growth. I guarantee you. In
seven years, the rookie sapay skill for their first four
picks will be old for one hundred and thirty three
thousand dollars. I guarantee you. I guarantee. So now that
we're looking at salaries, fifty second player taking NBA WNBA,

it's really come to life the last two years, the
last two it's really come to life. It's taken a
life of its own. Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese, let's
just be honest with this aspect. A lot of the
WNBA players don't like Caitlin Clark, and we know that
we've heard it out of their own mouths, and she
has you know, rising tides to raise all boats. Well,

Kaitlyn Clark is helping all of them, but some of
them don't look like it that way. Now, when you're
starting to talk about what was said and wasn't said,
the highest paid player in the WNBA today around two
hundred thousand dollars. This is twenty nine years of the
WNBA the NBA. I'm gonna stay with the nineteen eighty

We want to keep it the same, so I backed
it down from nineteen eighty two to nineteen seventy Where
am I nineteen seventy four, so that I'm exactly at
the twenty ninety year at threshold. You want to know,
the highest paid player was an the NBA and what
he made. His name was Kareem Abdullah Jabbar. He made
five hundred thousand dollars. That's all. So the difference between

six million. When a WNBA player tells me that they

The NBA has propped it up. Guys, for the first

It did not make a dime. The NBA paid the
cost they were affiliated with the NBA teams. So all
I'm telling the WNBA players, if you should call your

So the WMA, you're not behind, you're not being mistreated.
You've had two years of profitability. You're gonna be paid
for those. I'm happy. I have no problem with that.
But all these things you hear coming from all these players, yes,
I'm glad Kathleen Gilbert if she said it, If she
said it, worrying about officials, there's gonna be fifty percent

of the people that are gonna be upset about the officials,
and fifty percent or not. That's just human nature. There
are three jobs to do, and I'm getting a break. Players, play, coaches, coach, rests, officiate.
If you want to change your job, take the basketball
jersey off and officiate. I've had no problem with that.

So an official call you if the rest are bad,
be an official, no problem. You have the right to
do that, be an official. Corrected. But as for the WNBA,
always always whining, always complaining on how bad they have it,
They're ahead of the NBA, period, point blank. Other than

Kareem Abdul Jabbar's salary, which cause indicator would be one million,
six hundred and seventy thousand. I want to be honest
with you, it would be there's not a WNBA player
that's had the effect on basketball like Kareem abdul Jabbar,

So what I do is I rate my selections from
ten to fifty units. That way, someone knows has a
gauge on how to bet. Flat betting really isn't the
way to go, because if you're any good at this,
you're bigger plays that you feel strongly about. You have
more information, more data, more things that I've seen studying games.

Being a former college quarterback, I'm going to win at
a higher rate. So what I do is, let's say
someone is, say ten to fifty dollars better if I
put out a twenty five unit play, you should just
do exactly what it is. Twenty five dollars if it's
a forty unit played, but forty dollars if they are
ten times at so let's say they are, let's say

they're one hundred to five hundred, then you go two
fifty on a twenty five unit, just added zero.
