Speaker 1 (00:01):
Welcome back to EVE Smorts Radio. October the sixth, twenty
twenty five, Monday. Yes, it is in the Louisville area.
Hopefully I had a fantastic weekend I did. My prediction
was not correct. I thought my Cardinals would be five
and oh Eric, I was wrong. We'll talk about that.
(00:21):
We'll talk about that for sure. Let me bring on
my co host. Well, first thing, let me get my
business out of the way. Co host. This is EVE
Sports Radio. Phone numbers five zero two five seven one
seventy nine hundred. That's five zero two, five seven, one
seventy nine hundred. This is Sports Talk seven ninety KRD.
I've got the one and only Shannon back behind the glass. Yeah,
(00:44):
we have that other guy. Don't y'all telling, man, if
I could do something to him, I would just don't
y'all telling. He doesn't need to know Shannon. Bring on
the one and only George Williams. Hey, George, I just
wrote you in like a superstar.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
How are you hey?
Speaker 3 (00:56):
I didn't hear it, man, but I know you were
saying wonderful things about it. Because you that kind of guy.
I would know he wouldn't say anything that would degrade
me in any kind of way. You know what I mean,
because you are my closest friend in the whole wide world.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
Jerry, I'm that guy.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
You that gap, bro, you that gap. I ain't got
wear bad nothing. I ain't got wear bad none. Thanks man. Yeah,
I'm glad back.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
Hey.
Speaker 3 (01:23):
Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean. Yeah, that nice
is close. You got hold, We got hold of my back.
I feel like I got hold in my back.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
George.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
I've been working like a time my back, but I've
been doing You had a great weekend. What did you
do besides go down?
Speaker 1 (01:44):
Yes, I went. I watched the Cardinals go down like
we're going well, George, First and foremost, let's just talk
about the call. Let's talk about the call in overtime.
I want your opinion or do you want me to
give mine first. I'll step about that. You tell me
what you.
Speaker 3 (01:59):
Want me to do. You go first. Guys, you're having
a great day, you feel.
Speaker 1 (02:03):
When I watched the very first time, when I saw
the catch, George, I thought it was a catch. A catch.
So then when there started to be a little controversy
and people said, I was like, oh, that's a catch.
They're not going to overturn that. I didn't overturn that
in the play. We're talking about the overtime guys of
(02:24):
the catch the third downplay. So then when they started
to show it George, first couple of language, I'm like,
they're not going to overturn that. It's just out enough.
Until they gave me the one view, George, the one
view to where it showed the young man caught it.
I don't know why he released the ball, George, but
he did. Both hands released the ball. I don't know why.
(02:45):
I mean, right before he hit the ground. Both hands
came off the ball, George. He tried to regather as
he went to the ground with the ball. Georgian made
the Craig call.
Speaker 2 (02:54):
I hated it.
Speaker 1 (02:54):
For Cardinal Fancy were upset. Anthony was like a dad,
they should overturn that, And of course I was like, eh.
The first three times I watched the George, I agreed.
But then when they showed him released that ball. Georgie
released the ball. I'm sorry he released the ball.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
So it was.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
It was a little bob of George. We wanted people
to get it right.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
We've been saying wherever there you go.
Speaker 1 (03:21):
I had to recant my say. So George, there we go.
Now what do you think? What did you think before
we get into the entire game? What did you think
of the play?
Speaker 3 (03:34):
Yeah, I agree with you whole hearty. Until you've seen
that one angle, you've seen that bible, you knew it
wasn't good and and and I still wondered what they
call it.
Speaker 2 (03:45):
I agree with you.
Speaker 3 (03:46):
I wondered where they take it away from him? But
but but but again, when you say, when they showed
that one angle, when it would when it touched that ground,
I killed it because there's only one angle that really
shows where it touches the ground. And I think they
made a call, I really do, I think. And I thought, yeah,
I thought they made it like car.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
George, as tough as it was hard game. They made
a right call. And and a lot of people used
to think. And we watched it. Louisville fans say they
get no calls, but I watched it. I think they've
gotten calls. It was a tough one, George. But the
young man, I don't know why he released it, but
he did. He did, George. It was other than that, now.
Speaker 3 (04:27):
George, I think he was probably trying to secure joy.
You know, grab a little tighter.
Speaker 2 (04:33):
Uh.
Speaker 3 (04:34):
I just got away from him, you know how sometimes
it Yeah, I thought he had his eyes concentration. It's
just at half a second, you know what I mean.
Speaker 1 (04:47):
Mm hmmm.
Speaker 3 (04:48):
He was like, the great play, great call.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
Great, I mean, George. So here's the deal, George. Okay,
let's go back to the beginning of this game. I
don't know why, George, I just don't know why.
Speaker 2 (05:03):
It's all.
Speaker 1 (05:04):
It's almost I'm not gonna say, oh, but it's a
lot of coaches. When I've seen Kirby Smart do it,
who I consider the best college football coach right now today,
I watched him go for it on fourth down. I
didn't agree. I watched early in the game University of
Louisville decent drive, had an easy field, go chip shot,
(05:26):
go for it, George, little option kicks it, the man
fumbles the ball, he picks it up, George, and next
thing I know, it's seven nothing, seven and nothing Virginia.
So George, let's start talking about these decisions that a
lot of coaches are making. I'm not saying that it's
(05:49):
coach Brom's fault. The young man fumble I coached, George.
I had plays where you have to make a pass
from the top to the wing and from the wing
to the post. George, and I teach them correct it
doesn't happen correctly every time. It doesn't. I'm not questioning
the fumble. I'm not I want people to say, oh,
you're just questioning coach from No, I'm not questioning that.
(06:11):
I'm questioning the decision to go for it on fourth
down all the time. That's our question, George. That's what
I'm throwing to you. I'm questioning, why don't we take
the field. We've got a kid to get almost kicked
a seventy yarder, George. He's kicked sixty yardists a little bit.
Why wouldn't we just take We've got two great field
goal kickers. Take the three points, Georgie. It's a long game.
(06:33):
It's that like, this is your only opportunity to score.
The game's not on the line. It's just three points.
I like three nothing, but Georgia, it ends up being
seven to nothing the other way. It's critical, George. Critical?
Speaker 2 (06:47):
What is George?
Speaker 1 (06:48):
I mean, we'll get to the pick six next, but
let's just talk about that play, that.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Decision go ahead?
Speaker 3 (06:56):
Yeah, yeah, I compare with you. I think it's one
of the most I'm all about putting the points on
the board. It's just like and you use basketball's analogy
right there, Jerry. I'm for taking the two points over
the three points. If I got an easy lay up,
if you got if you got almost a sure kick,
you take the points. And you couse, Jerry, you know
how you feel. Going down is a hard thing. You know,
(07:17):
you want to you never want to be down in
the game. So you put pressure on the other team
as well as you've got a three point lead, and
it's easier, you know. And we said outside and I
know fans thank you today. It's easier to play with
the lead than to play from behind. Yes, no, And
I think and I think and I think that that's
one of the things that the coaches don't uh get, Jay,
(07:40):
because you know you've been out there playing defense and
you've been you made a great interception, you got the
ball down inside that ten to twenty, you know you're
in the red zone. You can come away with points,
and you decide, well, let's be a hero and score now, Jerry.
If your offensive line have been dominating them all day,
you have a dominant offensive line.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
That you believe in.
Speaker 3 (08:01):
And we can't say that Lowell has a offensive line
we believe in because we can count the penalties and
we don't count the surgis. We can count the last
two games to see that they haven't been dominating. So
I think that Jared, that that is one of the
problems we have. You know, you got to have a
dominant defense. I mean offensive line like you, Georgia. Georgie
is a team and know what the offensive line can
(08:22):
do and they can pursue. I don't think our offensive
line has shown that all your long that will fourth
down offensive line, George.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
We didn't show it last year, George. We didn't show
the year before when coach of Beer and I started
this segment about coaches going for it on fourth down.
It's been there three years that I've been talking about that,
and Georgia, it's like nobody ever sees the final result.
Here's the deal, George, that you spoke about. I want
people to understand being an athlete my entire life, coaching
my entire life. Being ahead is a comfortability factor. You
(08:53):
love to be up ten to six, twenty to fourteen,
thirty to twenty three, basketball forty to thirty at halftime.
You want the pressure on the other team taking the league.
Speaker 3 (09:07):
You can call play you can, you can. You can
do things with your defense when you and.
Speaker 4 (09:11):
At the league that you can't do with you behind. Yes, George,
it just help your player.
Speaker 1 (09:18):
So, George, when you have a team drive the ball over,
drove the ball, I was there and live in color,
played well, executed, executed, executed Okay, Miller Moss is almost
flawless early in the game, George. If you don't, if
what happens happens, you've just now put pressure on your
entire oosive team.
Speaker 2 (09:37):
George, they come off the.
Speaker 1 (09:38):
Field, it's a ninety six percent chance you're gonna make
your field goal. You're up three to nothing, You've got
control of the game. Your defense is ready to pin
his ears back next thing, you know. And it's not
coach Brom's fault on the fumble, but it's still his
fault for putting his team in position, in position to
put pressure on that where they have you deliver, George, Okay,
(10:02):
is not delivering driving the ball sixty plus yards to
get into getting range for a field goal. Isn't that delivery?
Let the oppositive team have a payday. I'm not saying
pretty smart, George. How he didn't go kick the field
goal to tie the game. I have no idea what
he was thinking. But early in the game, go up
three to nothing, and let's play this game out, George,
(10:23):
it just doesn't happen anymore. That's mistake number one. Coach Brown,
my pigion, my pick.
Speaker 3 (10:29):
Well, that's an analytics again, Jerry. Instead of looking at
the game and evaluating what your players can do and
knowing what's best for the team, you getting everybody gets
calling this analytic game where they say, oh, the best
to do this at this situation. No, it's best for
you to coach your team because you should know your
team better than analytics.
Speaker 1 (10:47):
So Fiel position just left. There's no such thing as
field positions.
Speaker 2 (10:51):
Yet they don't.
Speaker 3 (10:52):
They don't look at the game. They don't analyze what
I've learned all my life in coaching this game and
what I should do in this situation. That's what it's
all about. Jay. You you've been in situations and you
should take your situations. Council and paper is great if
everything is one hundred percent right, but if it's not
one hundred percent right when you get on that field, Jay,
you know, nothing is one hundred percent, you know what
(11:12):
I mean, And you put yourself in a vulnerable position
like you say, I'm on the twenty and I can
kick a ninety three chance for a field goal, I'm
gonna lose the ball and then you go back to
seven yard. Now I'm taking points. I'm putting points on
the board of us instead of losing points. And that's
what they did.
Speaker 1 (11:29):
I'm not putting the fumble touchdown return of sixty one
yards on coach, but I'm putting the decision not that
you got.
Speaker 3 (11:36):
To the Now, let's stop back it up there, back
of that, back of that. That's your job to make
those calls. That's your job to be in that situation
to make decisions for the team. You know, if you're
making decisions for the team. When I'm the coach, I'll
tell you this there, when I make a bad decision
on for my team, I speak up. I tell my
player that was my fault. Gas. I should not have
done that, and I knew better. Now, you can't back
(11:57):
up when you make a decision. That's your job. That's
what you get paid for to make those kinds of decisions.
When you make them, you got to live with them.
When they go good, you get the credit. When it
don't go good, you got to be ready to take
the responsibility of you made a dumb cop. And that's
what I think, and I think if he's the coach,
at least said today.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Here's the deal, George, So people understand, through all my
years of coaching, I'm not disagreeing with you. Through all
my years of coaching, you would get together with your
assistance before the season started and you would go through
what we would consider the analytics back in our day
of what you do. And in basketball, different things apply.
(12:37):
If i think I'm the better team and I'm at
home and i'm down too, I'm trying to tie the
game to beat you in overtime. If I'm on the
road and I don't think I'm the better team, or
it's a really close matchup and i'm down two, I'm
going to try to shoot the three to beach and
run off. I've done both. I've lost both ways, George,
and I've won both ways. But the decision was made
(12:59):
in the me George. In the summer football, same way
the decisions should have been made. The entire coaching staff
and the team should know what's going on, George. They
should have either the fielder team running out or the
strong the big set. George.
Speaker 2 (13:13):
Listen to me.
Speaker 1 (13:14):
Are you gonna say I'm going forward every time? I'm
bringing out two more offensive lineman, George, And I'm just
gonna make this a bull match. I'm gonna try to
run over George. But the decision should have been made
in the summer.
Speaker 2 (13:24):
That's all.
Speaker 3 (13:25):
I love what you're saying, Jed. I love what you're saying, Jed.
And that's also true. But I go back to the
eye test. If I get to the season and my
team is not the team that and you know you've coached,
there's some teams that you think when you're watching the
summer or what I can do with them, but when
the season come around, they don't live up to those expectations.
And if Louisville had looked at their team and you
(13:46):
look at them against James Madison, you look at them
against what's the other team that came here last week,
they have not been performed. They have not been moving
that offensive line. They've been making penalties. You know what
I mean? Those are the things that you gotta take
the consideration. So if my team had not been that
team that had been really good on third down, I'm
(14:06):
not gonna push it on fourth down because we couldn't
make a yard on third What would make me think
we can make a yard on fourth. I got to
put those concepts in my head as I'm coaching. So
I can't wear that's good what I did in the
summer because that we didn't play nobody. But these guys
are living targets out here, and they trying to win
the game just as I am, and they giving you
a hard game. So you got to aulize what is
best for the team and how will we respond late
(14:28):
in the game if we don't have the leader, I'm.
Speaker 1 (14:30):
Gonna let the I'm gonna let the listeners then help
make a decision. George Pittsburgh, So people understand George is
talking about does the team produce in the running game
if you're trying to run the ball? Pittsburgh, George, thirty
four carries fifty three yards. Let me finish, George, you
were right. Thirty four carries for fifty three yards average
(14:54):
one point six Yardsberg carry. Let's go back to another game. George,
that was Pittsburgh. Okay, So if you're looking at it
like you're saying with the eye test, you're a hundredercent right,
Coach Brown should say that's not the way to go
because we couldn't rust the boy in Pittsburgh at all.
Speaker 2 (15:10):
Let's go to.
Speaker 1 (15:10):
Yesterday's Saturday's not yesterday's Saturday's game. And I just want
the people again. When George is talking about the coaches
making decisions, twenty four carries George for fifty four yards. Now, yes,
I Isaiah Brown was thirteen carries for sixty six yards,
(15:31):
but we took sacks. University of Louisville took sacks. That
takes away from your resting yards. So Miller Mass had
a negative thirty eight. So that means we were twenty
seven carries for fifty four yards George and two conference games.
So George, you're one hundreds in correct. The numbers don't
play out. That's why I still don't George. We've been
Coach Beer and I started this three years ago. George,
(15:53):
and I still don't get it. We're still in the
same place with these decisions. So let's continue with the game.
What George is, we're gonna go to break. When we
come back, we're gonna continue talking about boy. George. Anthony,
my son was on with me before.
Speaker 2 (16:10):
You're doing a great.
Speaker 1 (16:11):
Job for Saint Matthew's fire apartment, and he said Miller
Moss has the propendency to throw that ball away. And George,
we're seeing living colors.
Speaker 3 (16:21):
Well, Ja Cob in the middle of the season last year,
that was a reason why, George, he was the reason
why you lost your job last year.
Speaker 1 (16:30):
We'll talk about it after the break. It's already seven
to twenty two. It's EVE Sports Radio. It's October the sixth.
Let me tell you what, Yes, some George, I wouldn't
I don't even want to tell you. I want to
make you hang up for us. Said someone busts EVE
Sports Radio for one hundred and fifty dollars.
Speaker 3 (16:47):
George, Oh my god, Oh no, okay, get no more
milk this morning. You're gonna be all right?
Speaker 1 (16:54):
No, I need some help. We'll talk to you about
it after the break.
Speaker 3 (16:58):
I'm gonna be depressed of it.
Speaker 1 (17:00):
Welcome back to Eastports Radio. Seven twenty five, October the sixth. Yes,
I did say October the tenth month. That's six, Yes, George.
I'm telling you people.
Speaker 2 (17:13):
Are just sick.
Speaker 1 (17:15):
It's always your fault. That's why somebody just tweeted mee George,
i'n get it coming do no matter what I get it, George.
Can you believe Hey, there should be an inquiry, George.
We'll go back to Louis One in a second. George Williams.
(17:36):
It was the most I've ever had. I had twenty
four people, twenty four, and I want everyone to know
I've added up your scores. So I'm going to talk
about that sometime this week. I want people to start
you computer, Yes, with my new computer, George.
Speaker 2 (17:53):
But I do have it all.
Speaker 1 (17:55):
I've got it. As long as someone doesn't steal my book,
we're good.
Speaker 2 (17:59):
But I'm George.
Speaker 1 (18:00):
I take that they can steal my book, just don't
steal my phone. I'm good, So I do, and I
have done that through the six weeks. So I'll let
everybody know it is competitive to George.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Thank you.
Speaker 1 (18:14):
I'm just telling you one thing. Just go by town
and country. See Chuck Kane, common Love, Dodge, see my
man over there, guys, great people. And thank you Lord
Billy Hayes, because I just gave away another on hundred
and fifty his dollars. George, I'm chip away Billies Budy
Quirk and he gives it to me. But anyway, a man,
(18:37):
I lost one. Now here's the problem that hurts. No,
it doesn't.
Speaker 3 (18:42):
I want to know if I can stay Okay, you're right,
you're right, you're all right, all right about that. It
doesn't hurt me.
Speaker 1 (18:47):
I want you to tell me if I have an inquiry,
and if I do, George, our whole payment. You know
I'm church.
Speaker 2 (18:54):
I don't care, George.
Speaker 3 (18:57):
I know you don't. Now that's one thing you don't now.
I don't know sure you don't care.
Speaker 1 (19:02):
If I could say no, I'll say no, George.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
You good ad, and the don't bother you.
Speaker 1 (19:08):
It doesn't. I had three people that did really well
got me. I already had Mary take my money, and
Patty almost took my money this weekend. But Patty was
four and one and got in the briars bush with me. George,
and I nipped.
Speaker 2 (19:22):
Patty got me.
Speaker 1 (19:23):
I beat Patty. I'm sitting there going yes, George, I'm
sitting there going yes, I've done it again. I can't
wait to say I want again. Wrong, George, I've got
on the page and I start checking myself. I did
all the games, George, but the Miami Florida state. Everyone
knows that was a late game. I did all the
games early Saturday, so I thought I was done, George.
(19:46):
So I said, let me just go check. Check there, George.
Speaker 5 (19:49):
That was a guy that went five and oh, five
and oh and then George, he picks Virginia twenty eight,
twenty four.
Speaker 1 (20:00):
You got me?
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Oh, oh, I think I know who that is.
Speaker 1 (20:02):
I take, I take the under head, I take the.
Speaker 3 (20:05):
I heard you say that got me when I last Colors.
Speaker 1 (20:10):
That's on Greg and George. With the overtime, I lose.
So can I have an inquiry regulation I win? Do
I get to keep my money?
Speaker 3 (20:20):
I don't think so, Jerry. It's a technicality that's somewhere,
and I don't think you really got the technicality to
keep your money. And uh, and I'm gonna make the
left and out Jed. I think I think you got
to give it up. But but but you didn't put
no stipulation before the the game, I mean before the game, Jerry.
So uh, I think you got to go on to
give it up. And I know you're gonna hurt a
(20:41):
little bit, but it ain't gonna be that bad. You're
gonna be all right. Take my word, you're gonna be
all right. Sh I think so, Jerry, you're getting better.
You're getting better. You're getting better. Do I get the
warm milk over after the show. You'll be all right.
You just get your cookie the warm milk, and you'll
be okay.
Speaker 1 (20:56):
Bro, my hand's got the shapes right now. What I
know that he was given out by Eves Sports Radio.
I told people it's free money. I don't know how
I don't have one hundred callers a week. George, someone
just popped me for one George one fifties decent money.
There's not a show in Louisville that it's gonna write
a chick.
Speaker 3 (21:13):
You gotta do it, you gotta do Is that as
six questions to get it?
Speaker 1 (21:17):
I mean George sometimes four, sometimes five, but Greg went
five and oh, now here's the deal. I want everyone
to know. He had George over Kentucky. Everyone did he
had Virginia twenty eight four. Yes, I took the under, George.
I took the under. I said, if if Virginia won,
I said, there's gonna be a low scoring game. That's
why I took the under the reason why, George, and
(21:39):
then this overtime thing comes into play. That's why I'm
mad at coach Ron for not kicking a field goal.
And I'm mad at the pig six, the Miller monster,
and the Georgia. Now I sound like a gambler. I
need to stop this gyeorget'll getting shakes. But anyway, I'm
gonna stop that.
Speaker 3 (21:56):
I do the same thing every week. Got gamble because
you want to win.
Speaker 2 (22:00):
I know.
Speaker 1 (22:02):
He had Alabama over Van Dy George, which was a
good game. Again, too many turnovers, too many interceptions, probably
oh too many interceptions. He had Miami over Florida State.
Florida State did make it a game at the end.
George surprised me. Then it'll run at him. He had Florida.
You remember I said that could be the difference maker
(22:22):
to Gregg.
Speaker 3 (22:23):
On the phone.
Speaker 1 (22:24):
He took Florida over text That was the difference making, George,
he took Florida over texts. So Eastwards Radios write the
check for one fifty any donations I will take.
Speaker 3 (22:38):
I don't like the George as I can be.
Speaker 2 (22:42):
It's not your money.
Speaker 3 (22:43):
Pardoner, Calm down. Deep breath, breath, not the money. You
don't be all right. It don't be outright that you
don't be alright. Just take a deep breath.
Speaker 2 (22:54):
Man.
Speaker 3 (22:55):
We're gonna make it. We're gonna make it through the
show at least.
Speaker 1 (22:58):
Okay, through this show at least un all right that check.
Speaker 3 (23:01):
Indeed, I can't help that, Jey, No, Oh my good, George.
Speaker 1 (23:06):
Now we are this thing is so this is the
best I've ever had.
Speaker 2 (23:12):
George.
Speaker 1 (23:13):
I've got people my leader right now, and I'm going
to recount as at twenty one, I've got four people
at twenty wins, got me. I've got people that are
in this thing, George to win it. I've got numerous
at eighteen nineteen. I mean, George, this thing, this five
hundred dollars is truly after the midway point is up
(23:34):
in here, George, It's up in there. There is there's
one person who I'm not I may give his name,
but when I started to give him out, but George
was sitting at twenty one wins. So want everyone to
count your wins.
Speaker 2 (23:48):
I have them.
Speaker 1 (23:49):
I mean, guys, I'm telling you, I got Mike, Ron, Patty, James, Charlie, Sheila,
Steve D. White, the late Great Kyvee, Harrison, Brandon, Andrew Blandon,
Brandon bland In, Different Mary, David Martin, Joe, Anthony Thornton, Anthony,
(24:09):
Greg Hoptown, Greg Rob's a c O. You know, even
know he's crazy. That's okay, that's Kevin, he got this
sleepless David Adam, I mean, Bubba God. And the list
goes on. So I want you to know count yours.
I'll be talking about it throughout the week with George.
This thing is gonna go to the wire. But that
(24:31):
five hundred, George, that's five hundred. You can't lose it.
You can't get in the Briars patch. I can't beat
you out of it. That's five hundreds, George. All I
know is that Billy Hayes. Don't kick me to the curve. Bill,
I'll be strung out.
Speaker 3 (24:48):
Oh you'll be gone, Dude, You're gonna be alright, though,
He's gonna be all right.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Jack Country.
Speaker 1 (24:56):
They get down in Country. So George, now let's go
back to I know it's seven thirty three, Georg, let's
go to break. We hit Louisville. Then we're gonna talk
about Kentucky. Can't leave it. But I mean, this is
able thing. This is Miller Mass. He's throwing three. I
think is it three pick sixes? I know he's thrown two.
I think he's throwing three.
Speaker 3 (25:13):
It was almost four.
Speaker 1 (25:14):
The young man dropped it on the seventeen yard line Saturday. Who, George,
I just don't know what to do. Let me fan myself.
This is e Swarts Radio, got George. It's seven thirty four.
I just lost. That's a scene.
Speaker 3 (25:29):
You're gonna be all right, Jerry, it's not your money.
Just let it go, let it go. Let's go to break.
Let's just go to break and break.
Speaker 1 (25:36):
Let's go to break. Shanon, take us out of here.
We'll be back in a second. Seven thirty eight. If
you need to be there at eight, you need to
get moving. This is Eaves Swartz Radio. I got the
George Williams. I've got Shannon behind the glass. Here's the deal, George, Yes, sir,
let's just let's go back to this now. Miller Moss
has thrown three pick sixes. Okay, I've got a question.
(26:00):
Jumped completely onto their Moss. He was thirty four for
forty eight. He was thirty four completions for forty eight attempts.
He threw it fifty times? Is coach putting him out there?
Speaker 2 (26:16):
Wait?
Speaker 1 (26:16):
George, we got three pick six George, the young man
dropped it on the seventeen yard line. Of course, thank
you Lord that the Virginia player dropped it was George.
It could have been four pick sixes. But when you're
throwing the ball fifty times, do you think, George, is it?
I thought we were supposed to have a pristine running attack.
(26:39):
That's what I thought. Two of the best running backs
in the country. Isn't that what was said?
Speaker 2 (26:43):
George? Wasn't that what was said? Right?
Speaker 1 (26:49):
Well, let's go back. I want my listeners to make
their own opinions. I'm not here to make opinions for them.
So I'm going to go back to the Pittsburgh game,
the second conference game. Games, guys, where it should be
fairly competitive, and they have been. The game should be competitive.
I'm looking at that one. He was thirty three for
fifty one. So, George, is it Marmos's fault? Are we
(27:12):
throwing the ball too much? Which one is it?
Speaker 3 (27:15):
Well?
Speaker 2 (27:16):
Two games?
Speaker 3 (27:17):
First of all, anytime you're throwing the ball fifty one times, Jerry,
you know you're throwing it too much. You know, I'm
not a football coach and never have been, but I
do listen to guys that I respect, and great coaches
always tell me it's a balance between run and pass.
And you can see it's a very lopsided US would
(27:39):
pass and run, and you know, they say, we got
three guys that are out injured, and but Jerry, you
have to find a way to run that ball. But
even before they got into though, Jerry, like I said,
the first two or three games, Jered, I watched them
and they were dominated by Lord Division one teams, and
I thought that James Mason came in here and played
(27:59):
like they were. They were won a all the day,
all day, and we're playing in the ACC. I mean,
it took us to the end of the game, and
we were very fortunate to pick up a fumble in
that game to put the lead to a fourteenth point
spread at the end. If not Jerry, it would probably
be with the one only by seven. So I haven't
seen them playing high college of football all year long
on both sides of the ball. You know what I'm saying, Well,
(28:21):
here's the and you look at the they get Jerry
up what you look at that we get. I mean,
that's no nonsense, this nonsense conesy that everybody should know
what the county is coming out of play. We get
toned it at the Timeouse. Yeah, you go great. Now
I'll get to Bob in a second. George, here's the
deal you, sir, Bowling Green. I want people to make
(28:42):
their own decision. That's why I'm giving them.
Speaker 2 (28:44):
The actions Bowling Green.
Speaker 1 (28:46):
There's a different bowling Green. Louisville was twenty nine carries
for one hundred and twenty six yards four point three carry.
That's bowling Green. Guys, that's not good. You should be
averaging six and a half carry. And but to show
you the difference in games that Louisville controls, Miller Moss
was twenty three for thirty two. That's where he should be.
(29:07):
Thirty passes a game. When you see fifty, that means
you're in trouble. So if you see him throw it
twenty five times in the first half, yours can believe that.
Coach brom is telling everybody we're in serious trouble. The
best two, George, are the brown and the last one
is the two running backs. They're the best two players
(29:27):
on the team. George without adebt so and and Lacy,
who's the best puntkick returner in college football right now?
Those are the three guys. They're the best three on
the team.
Speaker 4 (29:37):
But he got yes, yeah, Lay.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
Yeah, no, Lacy, no Bail, Are you about Bail? Yeah,
Chris Bell, Yeah, he's got to be.
Speaker 3 (29:48):
He's got the best player on the team to me.
Speaker 2 (29:51):
Great hand, great hand.
Speaker 1 (29:54):
But George, he sure gets enough a lot.
Speaker 2 (29:59):
Mhmm. You know.
Speaker 3 (30:00):
Miller Moss made a statement last week that Lowell was
going to become a throwing team and not a running team,
and coach bron tried to reiterate that that may not be,
that's not what they want to do. But Jed, I
don't think that they can go through the ACC because
they're goning to play some of the better teams in
the ACC. And I don't think that you can do
this when you're throwing fifty one times a game. I
(30:21):
just think that that will devastate you. And you know,
and we got two and it tells me that we
don't have a great offensive lineman, Jerry, because we got
two of the most dynamic running backs in the country.
I mean, all they have to have an engine. It's
all over and when they're not getting open, Jerry, that
tells me a lot about the offensive line. It's not
really one of the better offensive lines in the country.
(30:43):
There because we have two running backs. They got Olympic
type speed.
Speaker 1 (30:47):
Here's it deal, George, We're gonna bring bubb on, but
there's no question there's some issues that need to be
worked out going to Miami in two weeks. Albeit at
that game, they're going to be tested in that game Miami.
It's formidable, George. I'm saying they're great, but they're formidable,
no question. Yeah, they're formidable. But Florida State played well
those last seven minutes.
Speaker 2 (31:09):
They played well.
Speaker 1 (31:09):
But I'm gonna bring Bubba on, George. Everyone knows Bubba
is the Trinity guy. So Bubba I just seemed to
want saying, Man, Bubba, I'm not scared. Sends this to me,
keep the line open Friday, George. What he's trying to
say is Trinity plays ballad keep the line open on Friday.
Speaker 2 (31:32):
Listen.
Speaker 1 (31:33):
I'm not fighting a view, That's all I'm saying to you, Bubba.
I'm not frighting well.
Speaker 6 (31:38):
I uh, I'm getting ready to go up to Walmart
here and get a bunch of charcoal and uh get
ready for the We're having a barbecue charity at Trinity
uh after the game, because there's gonna be there's gonna
be a slaughter come Friday night. So I just wanted
to let you let you know, you know, you bite
you over if you want to come. But did I
(32:02):
hear you say with the Saint Matthew's Police or fire Department? Yes, sir, okay,
why is it? Let me ask you and that and
that's great. I'm glad he's doing it. You know, it's
a great service to community. But you know you got
Quentin SNYDERO. He's on Trendy staff. Now you got your
son that's worked for Saint.
Speaker 3 (32:21):
Math He Bubba I fighting the hold on my hat
that you gave me. You know you gave me Bubba.
I had to. I had to fight him literally to
keep that hat. He didn't tell you that.
Speaker 6 (32:39):
Oh he does? He really want one?
Speaker 2 (32:42):
Yea?
Speaker 3 (32:44):
I want you fighting for man? Can you get him? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (32:48):
What what? What he What he'll do is he'll wear
it down in the basement. When he's down there, he'll
you know, half.
Speaker 2 (32:55):
Good.
Speaker 6 (32:55):
He can't worry.
Speaker 1 (32:56):
I got a question. I got a question for you
to somebody. You only smart, Alex, that's okay, but I
have a true question. St. Xavier Ohio seventeen Trinity fourteen.
What happens when you play your own level? Ka? Got you? Tom?
What's the problem? Not no need to go to know
to day? What's the problem.
Speaker 6 (33:18):
Well that's that's where I was at over the weekends.
If I didn't get I know, I know, but what happened. Well,
you know you're gonna lose game every now and it will.
Speaker 3 (33:29):
I'll tell you what it is, don't That's why I'm
Frady Bobster.
Speaker 6 (33:34):
Because he because you know we've this will be probably
a three peat and so you know, Scott will make
a couple extra posters so you can add one more
to your basement.
Speaker 1 (33:46):
Toss. Leave Scot out of this.
Speaker 6 (33:50):
Oh no, he was a partner. Okay, Yeah, I'll just
let you go. Hey, I got I gotta go, get
to get my charcoal and and my lighter flood and
you know, my box sauce and buns and baked beans.
Take us out, get ready for Sarurday.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
Hey, Bubba, who who does tend to play this fatty?
Speaker 6 (34:12):
They're going to the pig farm. They're heading to the.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
Pharm the pig farm. Who is that, Jake.
Speaker 1 (34:21):
Ja It's nation, ruined nation, proud, proud, proud, It's ruined.
Speaker 6 (34:32):
It's the ruin Nation, the ruin ruin Nation.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
So all I know is Saint Xavier, Ohio seventeen uh
Trinity fourteen is these words radio?
Speaker 3 (34:46):
Okay, We'll be back. He's running bubble, He's running bubble.
Speaker 2 (34:49):
I'm running.
Speaker 6 (34:51):
I'll be back, Briddy. I'll be back, Briddy.
Speaker 1 (34:53):
Okay, I know you will. I'll take your call, take
us away. She welcome back These Words Radio seven fifty. George,
I'm gonna play something which I'm gonna get into more tomorrow,
but I'm gonna play it today because I want people
to have an opportunity to go and research it and
(35:14):
see what I'm talking about tomorrow. And George, it's about
to We always on this show, George, when there are
politically tough things, we always say, allegedly, we always say,
we have to wait and see what the final verse is.
We always do, George, always do so. When the mister
(35:35):
Lacey Karen Lacy situation came about last year in December
and January, we spoke about it. We had the Las
Vegas Raiders player that had a car wreck that injured someone,
and we said, boy, we're hoping the young man didn't
make the same mistake. We said, but we're gonna have
to wait and let the cake bake, and we understand
the young man then commit suicide and then we find
(35:58):
out George as a Friday the facts. So I want
everyone to listen to a clip from the lawyer from
current place. I want you all to have an opportunity
to go research it for yourself, and then tomorrow I'll
let you talk about it at the end, George, and
then at tomorrow I'm gonna get into it, but please
(36:20):
play it for me, Shannon.
Speaker 7 (36:25):
So look, don't worry about filing any any of this
top information like your name, don't don't worry about any
of that. Just right here, if you could, I'll just
have you right exactly what you saw.
Speaker 1 (36:34):
Just make sure to include you know where.
Speaker 7 (36:36):
You were, that's how it's wenty, how it's one.
Speaker 1 (36:43):
You know that you're just all right, And.
Speaker 7 (36:47):
Just make sure you add in there that you had
to slam on your brakes and the brakes like you know,
you had to slam on the brakes to avoid that charger,
and the brakes locked up to avoid that charger.
Speaker 1 (36:55):
That's that was really going with me, back of me?
She is is happening that she called Derek records if
you were ready to back of means.
Speaker 3 (37:05):
She put on.
Speaker 7 (37:07):
So, but the charger was coming right at you, correct,
and that's why you have the head on with you.
So yeah, just make sure you include that. That's very
important because we're trying to locate this charger right now.
So just include that in the statement and I'll read
it over and then I'll be out of here.
Speaker 8 (37:23):
In that video, you can clearly hear the suggestive nature
indicating that I need you to say that you had
to slam on your brakes and you had to avoid
a charger.
Speaker 7 (37:32):
Oh, and just make sure you add in there that
you had to slam on your brakes and the brakes,
like you know, you had to slam on the brakes
to avoid that charger, and the brakes locked up to
avoid that charger.
Speaker 8 (37:41):
That's but then you hear gold Truck the witness, who's
the gold truck what he says, and he says, verbatim,
was going with me leaning the back of me?
Speaker 5 (37:54):
She is is happening that she called Derek records if
you were ready in the back of means she put on.
Speaker 2 (37:59):
The other.
Speaker 8 (38:01):
I didn't skid marked or nothing, because I wasn't even
going that fast. That lady in the back of me,
she didn't see what's happening. That's how she calls that wreck.
She was going to run into the back of me,
and she pulled into the other side.
Speaker 1 (38:23):
Thank you, Shannon, Shannon.
Speaker 3 (38:25):
Thank you guys.
Speaker 1 (38:27):
You heard the police officer trying to curse the young man,
the gentleman to say what he wanted him to say.
I've always stood at the police department, George. You know
that the guy's wrong, is wrong, and this is seriously,
seriously wrong. So I want everyone to research it. I
want you to go on your internet. I want you
to go on your social media. I want you to
watch the videotape, and then I want you to listen
(38:50):
to what was going on, because that police officer, every
arrest he's made has to be looked at. It with
any African Americans, has to be looked at period point
in blood has to be till you watch the tape.
It's all that I'm saying. It comes to time George,
when right has to be right, and it's twenty twenty
five and we're not even close. We're not even close.
(39:12):
So George, i'n't know if you've had opportunity, give you
an opportunity to have you had opportunity to watch it
or see what it just transpired. George, No, I haven't Okay, no, no, no.
I want you to go into it, George. I will
send it. I will send you everything that just came
out over the weekend, and people will get an opportunity
(39:33):
to do with their own eyes in the ears to
hear and see what you're listening to. Is the police officer,
George trying to curse the gentleman to say that the
charger had something to do with it when George, the
charger wasn't even in the picture. The charger was seventy
two yards away from the accident. Wow, period, point blank.
You're gonna see it. I'm gonna send it to you.
You're gonna see it. The bottom line is this. So, George,
(39:54):
the police officer had the video tape and the audio. Please,
captain had the video tape and the audio. The district
attorney said there was not enough evidence. George they still
had he warrant for the young man's arrest. They did
what they wanted. So George, I'm going to send it
to you. I want everybody to research it. Then tomorrow
(40:15):
I'm going to get into the facts of the case.
Speaker 2 (40:18):
I had a.
Speaker 1 (40:19):
Person that I really trust. I said, have you seen
any of it? He says no, He said, research it
for me. He went and researched. He read the warrant.
George went and got it and read online. He says, Jerry,
he was swerving in and out. That's what caused the wreck.
I said, that's what they wrote. I want you to
now go watch the tape. It was shocking. His response
(40:41):
was unbelievable. What was written in what happened? So George,
I will sending it to you. I want all my
listeners to look at it because we've got to get
through this. This has to end. There's no reason for
this young man committed suicide. He killed himself. George over this.
They oh, they took George. He took himself. They took
(41:05):
him out of the NFL draft. They thought, George, if
you remember there was the player that did it, that
played for the Los Angeles Raiders. George and he was
going through the issues. We thought a second when it
just happened. Everyone did and we were like, oh my god.
Having the young kids learned their lesson, and everybody was
very critical, and we just said, well, I have to
(41:25):
like always George. He didn't look good, but we again
he said, allegedly like we're doing.
Speaker 2 (41:30):
All of them, were doing all of them.
Speaker 1 (41:32):
I want anybody else say, well, George, now the facts
are out and this has to end. Eat Sports Radio.
We'll talk to you here tomorrow. God Willie love you.
Bye bye.
