We're at Coach Crumbs golf outing Monday morning, University of
Louisville golf course. I call it the Cardinal Club, but

to us. He's coming in and out. We're out on

the patio. It is Scud McCraney, Wiley Brown, my teammates,
Robbie Valentine, Milt Wagner in nineteen eighty six. Milk was
one of my teammates also eighty six championship team. Was
there myself, that's five, Judy cal Gill, which was Coach
Crumb's administrative assistant, his boss. Judy was there and a

few other people. So Wiley Brown just had hernia surgery
and it went well, but he was just a little solar.
So we were talking about the old days and what
we would have had Roughhouse do, which was Jerry Mayar trainer,
and guys, here we are a whole bunch of athletes
talking about what happens in the locker room, right, but cleanly, guys, cleanly.

Judy Calgill city right there with us, Scotty. Judy cracked
a joke on Wiley Brown. I mean she had everybody
in stitches. Judy Calskill's got to be eighty five. Judy
cracks the joke, and I'm telling you Wiley Brown, which
just had hurting the surgery. He's laughing so hard, he's
crying because it's hurting him. I'm laughing so hard, but

I'm just dying watching Brown cry. Screwter and I Milt,
we're just dying from what missus cal Gill said.

But it was so funny, scot so God, just think
of this, honestly.

I mean, I wish I could tell you all, but

it was. It was amazing I'm telling you we had
a great time. But it was great seeing Judy and
just the old gang. We had a ball, We didn't play.
We just stayed on the patio. It seems. Came in.

We took pictures and just kind of cracked jokes with
everyone and got.

It was a great event, raised a lot of money
for the Scholarship Fund for not athletes, got students at
the University of Louisville, so it went, well, congratulations to

Reds major League Playoffs? What transpired yesterday? In your opinion,

You had to stay up, which I did. It almost
killed me. It made me stay up. But the Reds

Man? I was the same way I was watching that game.
And at the beginning, I was thinking it wouldn't matter
if we kept their names out of their mouth or not.
There was no cancer winning game.

Oh so Hey comes out and I mean, first batter up, bam.
It's like, gods, you couldn't hit it that hard. It
was amazing, just god, Like poor Green. I felt for him.
I mean, he knew he was in troubles.

God. I mean the Dodgers, Oh.

It was crazy. They look like the highest paid team
in baseball. Yes, I mean, just first three innings, it
was the game was over with.

It was over luckily.

Yeah, I mean they. I mean, when you have two
of your bigger names show Hey and Tiasco Hernandez hit
two home runs, you know, it's it's so tough to
mentally be able to come back from that. But yeah,
I will say. You know, seventh and eighth inning, the
Reds made a serious run and they you you watched

those fans in the stands and They're like, man, I
hope we don't blow this because.

You can see I was proud of the Rads, Scott.
I was disappointed, but all the Reds can't play. Fred
Cone's done a great job with that team. I mean
they were getting blasted. So hey, second home run is
still flying, Scott. He almost hit the ball. I mean
the second home run he saw, he almost hit out

of the ballpark. But you never saw the Reds quit.
You never saw him get frustrated. They stayed the course
and then once they chipped away, got two runs. Next
thing you know, the bases loaded, Scotty. People were like,
what's going on? I was proud of the Reds. I'll
being honest with you, Yes, did not. They could have
just got run over.

They made it. I mean, you know, some guys chasing
some some bad pitches and you know while they're making
that run, and you know they were, they were close.
They didn't make it exciting, you know, like I was
ready to go to sleep, and then all of a sudden,
you get the bases loaded. Then you know you score
one and oh man, like it's it was tough, but

I'm glad, like you said, they made it again. They
made it exciting and it gives them some momentum.

Going yes for tonight's game too. Mm hmmm, Yes, for

the last three innings. I mean they just said it
