is Sports Talk seven ninety WKRD. We of course got
Shannon behind the dude behind the glass, and we've got
a lot to get to. We do know on Monday
and Friday we have that Have you ever had that

(00:45):
net that flies around? You can't ever swathing, You can't
ever get him. You want to get him so bad.
My flystwater is so large that I don't know if
I can ever miss him, if I ever get another shot.
He goes back, bring you George Williams, cameraman and anything
else that he comes up with. As as the day
goes on, three the one and only George Weeks.

Speaker 2 (01:08):
What's up, George Heny? Thank you? Jared My theme band
wasn't able to get on today, but I have my
next I have my on Friday, so that we introduced
me that baby to play my theme interests. So well,
thank you y myself.

Speaker 1 (01:20):
How do you want to make sure? Do you have
the platform shoes with the fish in the hill, George,
be a straight player, it's gonna be a player platform shoes.

Speaker 2 (01:28):
I'm a I'm a semi played y, you know. I
mean the fish got hurt a couple of days ago.
Then we're gonna base who won't bring them out out?
We couldn't feed them, you know, I mean they had
there was no way to get food to him. So
we're gonna cut the platform shoes. Okay, But other than that,
we have the Platform shoes there too.

Speaker 1 (01:46):
They come back, George, George, we've got way back, George. Platform.
My wife wears them, my daughter wears them. They're two
inches to platform tennis. George. It's amazing with the ship.

Speaker 2 (01:59):
They're back.

Speaker 1 (02:00):
We should have kept our platform choose George.

Speaker 2 (02:02):
Well, it just not created, Jerge. It just recycles. There's
no creativity. It's just a has on you one that's
a recycled type thing, as I would do recycling. Now,
people don't understand this and needy George, Bill.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Bottoms will be back soon.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Hold on to your bellboy, and they call them baggage
now they call them baggers. They already back there you go.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
George, what a week is? All I want to say,
is truly what a weekend of sports? I mean, we
had everything. NFL, we got players still, NBA, We've still
got more gambling issues. You know, they're asking for phones
and records from more players.

Speaker 2 (02:40):
George, We've got college administration. Now hold up, that's on.
That's only deministration party. If I want to talk about
the players, let's let's get a management now. Let's only
the players out. The only one mother to pay the
bills and start to get involved now.

Speaker 1 (02:55):
Jeff, George Friday Lee, sit me me an article about
an officiating crew with Miami Hurricanes that they said unusual activity, George,
Unusual betting goes on when this crew has a Miami game. George,
it's everywhere a true handle on this gambling.

Speaker 2 (03:22):
George, We've had well Jared.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
George threatening the football coach, I mean a University of Louisville,
I mean over a wager family members the coach. Go ahead, George,
I mean we've got at all.

Speaker 2 (03:36):
Well, well, Jared, it's sort of like what a ads
doing to us. It's sort of like anything else when
you don't prepare for something as big as this is,
and it's many massive people that this touch, and you
don't have preparations for ways to correct it. You know
what I mean, Jared. They should have started playing this
for high school kids way back in the day. You
know what I mean. You look at how many high

(03:57):
school kids are gambling on sports event. I mean, Jared's
a well of life. Everything you do, it's a bet.
Every time you look on TV, it's a bet. I mean,
you know, I don't understand how you think you're gonna
prevent something when you promoted more than you ever trying
to prevent it. So I just think it's gonna get
worse before it even can get a chance to get better.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
George, college sports and professional sports you've got gambling commercials
on through their games. You're ahead of us, incorrect throughout
the games. George. Someone told me this on Friday. I
can't tell you, but it was just so appropriate. You know,
everyone understands going to gambling casinos and all those things,

(04:36):
but betting on games people think that it's clean because
they get to sit on their phones anywhere, George and
make wagers. They don't have to go anywhere. It seems
to be a clean, fun way to gamble. But George,
those are the people that are addicted the most because
they can wager any time of the day, twenty four

(04:56):
hours a day.

Speaker 2 (04:57):
What do you think about that? Well, goes back to
just like those shows on TV where they come on
and say you stuff on TV and stuff. They probably
better than any more that you can go to. They
on twenty four to seven. They got people all night,
all day. There no telling how much they say, how
many billions of dollars they make every year. And now
you got to do is have a voice, and you

(05:17):
got a job for life. You know what I'm saying.
Look at those shows, man, they come on, they bring
you this, they bring you that that year, discounting this
and discounting people just ups and aesthetics are making a
mint guide in these people's houses every day.

Speaker 1 (05:31):
A mint, George, own a truck and want to work,
you make some money, I mean a mint, So George,
I don't know. But we've got a lot to get
to before we all because we always neglect, and we're
gonna jump into the college sports and the pro sports. George,
can you believe I mean, I just really can't believe this.

Speaker 2 (05:54):
You did it.

Speaker 1 (05:54):
I didn't. We both did it. George. I'm not even
gonna allow on you this time. I said, Man, you
was gonna run over Mail. George, what a high school
game I had. Of course they didn't see the games
of fifty years ago, but they said it was one
of the greatest games they've ever seen. That Male manual

(06:15):
at Mayo. Great game, I mean, you know, fourteen male
and what a catch? Want to catch? George? Oh, if
you didn't see it, guys, y'all need to go back
and find the highlights of the Mail Manual game fifteen
fourteen Mail Bulldogs.

Speaker 2 (06:32):
You know it's funny, no matter how great the team is,
no matter how bad the team is, when you get
two rivalries together, Jerry, anything can happen. You know what
I'm saying. And people don't understand that, but that is
so amazing. When you're a coach and Jared and we
always say that, to face your opponent for the third
time in the season, you know that that's almost a

(06:53):
curse of death. You know what I mean, you almost
it's very very seldom that you beat the person three
times in one season, saying unless you really don't have
any kind of talent but be able to bomb money. Yeah,
one of the best out there, one of the best.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
So congratulations. I mean, there's nothing else to say. Coach weelve,
I mean Male High School. Two weeks before that they
got to be forty and George, they come back and
grit it out and I mean, what a win. So
I mean that that went right there alone. George's worth
speaking about, I mean, honestly, and Jared wea how the

(07:31):
lights have been there? But what a game?

Speaker 2 (07:33):
You know, Jared, we don't see Mail and man you're
both playing. You know, like I said, if you a batman,
you'd almost had to put your money on Manual. And
it just shows, you know, the courage and the grid
of these young men and what the coaches are doing
in building character young men. So let's take a good
salute to the male Bulldogs. As much as I don't
want to do it, but go Mail.

Speaker 1 (07:54):
Go Mail, I mean you have we have to guys
have no problem with eating my words. Male bull what
and George, did you see the young man in the
back of the end zone, hap it to himself, come down,
feed in bounds, two point conversion for the game. I mean, George,
it was a movie. Yeah, I mean, it was just
that was a movie that was a finish of a movie,

(08:15):
a finish.

Speaker 2 (08:19):
At the end. He's gonna play in overtime. We're gonna
get this over with one.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
What said I'm finishing this? I was that Denzel out there?
I mean, George, what that was? What a game?

Speaker 2 (08:31):
So here we go.

Speaker 1 (08:33):
So everyone understands Afterton, Nino White is still Nino Brown
is still rolling. He is forty one Afterton j Town six,
Phildel twenty four, Butler eight, Kentucky Country Day forty five,
Holy Cross seven, Manual fifteen, Male fifteen Manual fourteen two
point conversion at the end, Riles forty one, Valor twenty.

(08:58):
My season's over. George had to turn in my mouthpiece.
I hate that. Saint Xavier fifty bullet East twenty and George,
I hate to tell you you're central ye old jackets.
They went down also, George, So we we have nothing
else to talk about. George.

Speaker 2 (09:15):
We got beat So we had a good run. We've
got two games into the playoffs exactly exactly.

Speaker 1 (09:26):
At least.

Speaker 2 (09:27):
Oh yeah, well the cas we headed our program. I'm
glad we were able to fit.

Speaker 1 (09:32):
No, no, absolutely, so congratulations to all the young men,
especially I've been out of the season healthy. This week's games.
George Bowling Green at Atherton, that's gonna be a challenge
for Afft Madison Central at Trinity. The dark side still
in it, like always. Male at Sant Xavier. Let's go Bulldogs.

(09:55):
That's all I mean. I have to. I've got Carney's Galleries.
He's the Saint Xavier guy. He's got relative family members'
grandkids to go to Saint Xavier. I hear about Saint
Xavier as much as I do. Get Tucky. Let's go Bulldogs.
It's all I can say. Carty and Cardi's Galleries, Let's go.

Speaker 2 (10:12):
Yes.

Speaker 1 (10:13):
I am gonna get a new basement floor from Carney's Galleries. George,
my wife's sister. I said, looks good to me. But
you know, George, you watch it looks good to meground
John's like, I don't even have to push you all.
I gotta tell you, why is boy? It would look

(10:33):
nice if we redid before You're right, I said, you know,
what this is crazy North Oldham at Franklin and Ryle's
at Frederick Douglas. So that's what we have got going
on this weekend in high school sports. So George, here
we go in. Soon we're gonna have high school basketball.
Temp will believe that, George. Soon we're gonna have another
week there, George, Now here's the rumor. It's only a rumor.

(10:58):
I'm throwing it out.

Speaker 2 (10:59):
This is a room.

Speaker 1 (11:00):
Unless, George, you may be able to when I'm finished.
You may no more than I know, but this is
what I know. There was a rumor the Tyrone Stokes,
the young man that was put out of school in California,
was going to be enrolling drum roll please, I heard
at Trinity High School. But now it's up in the air.
I heard at Trinity High School and that is university

(11:22):
that he was going to attend. He was leaning towards Kentucky.
Rumors only no confirmation, but that's what I heard. Have
you heard anything on him, George.

Speaker 2 (11:33):
I have no more than you have. I heard the
last thing you heard, and that's the last thing I
heard about it.

Speaker 1 (11:39):
Okay, great, now, George, I do want chat to know
what Ballard Nation we have and we are on the move.
Cole Eatlin, former melbull Dog who left to go Combine
Academy in Lincoln State, North Carolina, is coming back to Ballard.
That's twenty points a game that we didn't have. George
Cole is coming back. He'll be playing for the Bruins

(12:01):
this year. I mean, I'm gonna call his dad. I'm
gonna call his dad. I'm this, let's say rumor again,
been in the paper, but I'm gonna get his dad
on We'll find out for sure what happened. And then
we got Boogie Cook transferring. We all know George I
believe again that he's leaving Cal coming to Ballot. So George.

Speaker 2 (12:21):
Anton's job about Ballot J let's go coach Willis. Coach
Willis is doing what he has to do. George, that
name Egine, I noticed that, Yeah, I noticed that. And
then mister Johnson's coming back home too. Did you tell
me that.

Speaker 1 (12:37):
Stop his name is? Uh no, Yeah, he's back. Mister
Johnson is back at Saint Xager. Yes, yes, I thought you.
I thought yeah, I thought you were trying to give
me a hard time about my coach that went to Trinity.
But yes, no, no, no, no, no, no, no no. Yes,
he is back. Yes, he's been back from the end
of the year, which I'm glad to hear. So, George,

(12:58):
competitive games basketball wise, it's gonna be pretty nice around here,
so I'm happy.

Speaker 3 (13:03):
One reason anyway, Well, George, we's gonna be real tough. No,
that's god be funny. I mean one reagion is really tough.
And well, you know, I really don't know the regions
no more, jee, I'm because you know, I think a
male ballot, a male ballot, them all being in the
same me But ballot's over with central right, sixth regions, seven.

Speaker 1 (13:22):
Measions no, no bat seventh reason yes seven.

Speaker 2 (13:25):
Y'all stayed in the seventh.

Speaker 1 (13:28):
So you know what, Well, you know, George, that's a
good point. I think I will when we start on
the high school basketball, I'll give them the breakdown from
the districts to the regions so everyone will understand.

Speaker 2 (13:38):
What's going on.

Speaker 1 (13:39):
Great point. I agree with you totally. It is confusing,
So George, we're seven nineteen. You know, when we come
back from break, George, I usually tell you where you
can pick. Where we're gonna start.

Speaker 2 (13:51):
We have to pick.

Speaker 1 (13:52):
We have to you wouldn't believe I need to post these, George.
I swear it's just that you know when you're doing
too much. I jumped up Sunday morning early. Absolutely, we're
gonna talk about my homecoming with George. I have my notes,
I got my chee chet. Everyone knows I'm old. I
got a folder. If I lost my photo, I'd be done, George.

(14:14):
I've got Louisville twenty Louisville nineteen. I swear to you,
good job Louisville twenty Louisville nineteen.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
We didn't lose ll you got, you got that hot check,
you got that high tech equipment over it, Jae. I
can understand how it would go out on you like cat.
You know me. You know me that I take a
trap memoryst.

Speaker 1 (14:42):
Post my cheat sheet notes, so George, because other stations
will be trying to cheat my notes, so I can't.

Speaker 2 (14:47):
But I swear to you all I.

Speaker 1 (14:48):
Have Louisville tweentty Louisville nineteen. We're gonna talk about the game, George,
before I finished tweeting that Clemson should far dabble from
going on fourth down when he fumbled it on third
down and not kick your field goals. It's the eleven
minute mark, George, on the fourth quarter and it's sixteen
to ten. Take the three before I could finish. George

(15:11):
Littlewood made so many mistakes. I'm just sitting there going
this year just they got three, GEORGEA just that it
just doesn't make sense. We're gonna talk about the game
after the break is Eastwards Radio. I got the one
in only, George Williams the man at seven twenty one.
You need to be there at eight. It's gonna be

(15:31):
a beautiful day. The only meteorologis I'm gonna give you
is this. If you got yardwork, you better get it
done today because the rain is coming for the next
five or six days. So if you're gonna do something outside,
do it today. Eastwardge Radio. We'll talk to you all
after the break seven twenty five, November seventeenth, twenty twenty five.

(15:53):
It was Clemson twenty Louisville nineteen. Excuse me for my mistake.
And yes, George, I just let you know I had
a busy, busy frid Saturday. George, we had a great
Simmons coming, Simmons College homecoming, and I was busy. Last week.
I was busy you were there, George, was a great time. Now,

(16:16):
let's don't get distracted. I want to start first with
the University of Louisville, the fans, and I want to
talk about the football team and our football coach. Coach
browm has done a fantastic job, Johnny, George. We have
been in the a SEC Championship game. They have been

(16:38):
in the running for the championship game the second year.
This year. You know, we've had some disturbing losses like
last year late in the season. Okay, he has defeated
the University of Kentucky, who has owned us on the
football field. He's done a great job. That's a great job.
And I want people to understand that Josh Hurd did

(16:59):
a super job structuring in his first contract. Okay. I
want to give people the fact so that they can understand,
they can evaluate for themselves. Because Rama is in the
range they change these things so often, but he's in
the range of the forty third highest paid college football
coach according to USA Today. Okay, guys, five million, nine

(17:21):
hundred and eighty one thousand bucks a year. Okay, somewhere
in that range, give it, take a couple thousand bucks.
He is the sixth highest paid ACC coach georgiea okay,
sixth highest paid again, according to USA Today. When you
look at the standings right now today, Georgia Tech's one,

(17:43):
Virginia's two, Pittsburgh is three. Se News for Louisville's next opponent,
Miami is five, Duke is sixth, Louisville is seventh at
four and three. Okay, he's already done. Great job. Played
in the College Football Championship against Florida State his very
first year, Okay. So I just want people to understand
that Josh did it right. In his contract, it's stated

(18:08):
if he wins seven games, he will get a one
year extension applied to his contract. Got me a seven
win season. So right now in University of Louisville is
at seven and three, he's already earned another year. So
as of right now, he has eight years left on
his contract. George, he had a ten win season. A

(18:31):
ten win season adds two more years to his contract.
So I just want Louisville fans to know before we
always seem like we don't think that people that Louisville's
worthy of a good coach and they should happy to
be in Louisville right now, because coach Brohm's team is
seven and three, he has earned another year on his contract.

(18:52):
It's open records. This is not hard to find out.
He's got at this time eight years left on his deal.
So if University of Louisville, because teams were mentioning in
his name, would want to say, hey, we want to
give you a bump and pay. We think you're better
than the six highest paid coach in the ACC again

(19:14):
according to the USA today, our forty third highest in
the country. Just bump the pay, but we don't have
to go into adding new years to the contract. Love
your baby, My wife's finally going to work, Georgie. I
needed to go. I need those benefits. Georgie love benefits,

(19:35):
So George, my wife said she does two. We all do, boy.
We work for benefits, not salaries, benefits or so, George,
I just wanted to explain to people where the program is. So,
in my opinion, humble opinion, if you wanted to bump

(19:56):
up this pay a million bucks, I got no problem
with it. But to touch in add years is ridiculous.
He has an eight year deal right now. Okay, George,
I'm not going into all the negative things until I
let you talk about the game. Then I'm gonna get
into some of the mistakes. But I just wanted to
verify and clarify what is transpired. There's no reason that

(20:18):
they have to add. If coach Browm thinks there's a
better place, George, I'm with you. I've left numerous jobs
to take better jobs, got me. I have no problem
with that, George. That's his progative. But again, University of Louisville,
just make sure you have to understand. I think joorsh
Hurt did a fantastic job the way he structured this contract.

(20:39):
That's why coach Brom's done a great job his first
three years here. Like I said, ACC Championship game. Finally
we have defeated Kentucky, who has owned this George right
and handedly beat them last year. George, I think everything's perfect.
Eight years on his contract. Give him a few more bucks,
let's push on my humble opinion. But to add more years, George,

(21:00):
it's crazy. That's why LSU doesn't want to pay right now.
And you're going to see a lot of schools start
to fight their coaches over these insane contracts. Again, Kelly
had a ten year deal, George. That's why they fired him.
He had fifty seven million left. He wants his money.
They don't want to pay him. Now I'm throwing that
to you, George, what do you think?

Speaker 2 (21:23):
Well, Jerry, you know, it's kind of funny how we're
talking about this and last week we were talking about.
A week before last, we were talking about when we'd
be able to keep coach Bomb here at the University
of Louisville. Everybody's coming and beating down the door to
get him out of here. Well, Jerry, it's a difference
in what a week makes, you know what I'm saying.
One of the things we try to project on what
a coach is going to do. And you know, I

(21:45):
find it amazing Jay along your path that people think
that you're not going to have bad seasons, you know
what I mean? And like I say, and we talk
about this all the time, Jerr, it's going to be very, very,
very difficult to be able to get a national championship
team out in the state of Kentucky because we just
don't breed the kind of talent the lineman that you
will need to be able to do that. The big

(22:06):
players that you'll need to be that the you know,
the bulldozers, you know what I mean, the things they
can do that. So I think he's done a great
job coaching Jerry. But you know, I think that we
anticipate more from him, you know what I mean, because
everybody wants to win this national championship that they so
uh Lucifer about getting to. But one thing that amazes
meet Jerry is that the ACC. What why would he

(22:28):
want to say in the ACC?

Speaker 1 (22:31):
I mean, it is really that's a tough question, George. Oh, George,
that's uh, that's a whole other show, George. But you're correct.
I mean it's twofold, George. You can look at it
in this respect. They're not much competition in the a SEC.
That just the fact the league's bad. People can be
mad at me all they want. I'm right, I've been right.

(22:52):
The ACC may not get a team in the college
football playoffs. So that's all you get the champion, No, Georgeorge,
listen to me, George, Not that's right.

Speaker 2 (23:03):
They don't have to.

Speaker 1 (23:03):
Oh no, No, it's the five highest ranked. Yes, and
there's other teams James Madison and Tulane. George, there's a
chance they do not get eighteen in the college football blayoffs.

Speaker 2 (23:16):
That's just the fact.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Listen to any of the talking hens. Yeah, George, so
I mean, George, this thing is critical. So you could
say stay because winning the league and doing well is easy,
thank you, Shin is easy, okay? Or you're right, you
want to leave because your league made this band soon
you're right. I don't know which one, George. I'm frightened, though,

(23:39):
I am truly frightened. So we got our first call.
Let's get to break. It's seven thirty three. We'll come
to our first call. And when we get from Break,
E Sports Radio phone them. It's five zero two, five
seventy one seventy nine hundred. We'll talk to you all
in a minute. Welcome back to EVE Sports Radio. It
is seven thirty six, And go to town in country

(24:00):
you will say Commonwealth. Dodge. My man Billy Hayes, his
dad was a little, huge, little fan, and Billy goes
to Kentucky. Billy, we don't have to talk about.

Speaker 2 (24:11):
That one guy. Guy, what a guy.

Speaker 1 (24:15):
We had to discuss that a kid and Billy that
makes nose. Billy was a track athlete.

Speaker 2 (24:20):
Your brother went to U k oh your brother went
to the UK where you go.

Speaker 1 (24:25):
Hey, George, don't tell everybody that.

Speaker 2 (24:26):
No, no, no, let's don't tell her your brother went
to the u K where you go? Verse jar All
that kid was reversed. Okay, so let's don't get a
little wild about that. I agree. Better talk what you
guys say.

Speaker 1 (24:41):
Georg you're right about that, Billy, I gotta take that back.

Speaker 2 (24:43):
He's right.

Speaker 1 (24:44):
Myer brother did go to University Kentucky. First campus I
was ever on in this University of Kentucky. That's true.

Speaker 2 (24:50):
Just want to be up on that campus. No, no, no,
you gotta guess. You gotta get guess.

Speaker 1 (24:58):
Let's let's Readmont. He's your god, not mine.

Speaker 2 (25:01):
Bring Ryan to the show, I main, ma'am, Brother Ryan
by the Ryan.

Speaker 4 (25:07):
Good morning, gentlemen. Are you there?

Speaker 2 (25:10):
Jerry win the other day? The Turkey win Saturday? Oh god, well,
I don't know. You tell me, George. I think they did.

Speaker 4 (25:18):
I think they did.

Speaker 2 (25:18):
I seen the high school games place of Friday night.
I seen I went out to uh uh, what's that
with the Tuccher trains. I went out there and play
with the trains and stuff.

Speaker 4 (25:28):
Yeah, so, uh, when does who does balldle play this
week in the playoffs.

Speaker 2 (25:33):
Cherry, see, you got a little too far.

Speaker 1 (25:39):
I took to joke about my football team. George, you
beat up on a You beat up on a junior college. First,
at least Ryan didn't take the bat credit. He didn't
take your bait. But George, you beat up on and
then Ryan.

Speaker 2 (25:52):
You have to go straight to make it pus Hey, Yeah,
you play you you seem you heem so happy.

Speaker 4 (26:00):
Friday when you knew that Mail had to play a
team that that had beat them, that had beat them
by thirty nine points, is two weeks before I did,
and you thought, Oh, this is gonna be good, This
is gonna be good.

Speaker 2 (26:13):
I gave you a hard time. I did.

Speaker 1 (26:14):
I gotta take it like a man. I did, George,
I gave him were you were there, George, I.

Speaker 2 (26:19):
Gave I would I wouldn't think you would do that.
I wouldn't think you would do that. You did that, right?

Speaker 1 (26:27):
George agreed with me. At least tell him he did
agree with me, didn't he? Friday?

Speaker 4 (26:33):
Oh I'm not I can't remember, Jerry. I don't know.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
Thank you, I never agree with you.

Speaker 4 (26:43):
You still haven't answered the question, Jerry, Who's dollar play
this week.

Speaker 1 (26:47):
I told you I collected the equipment on Sunday, the
equipment and season's over.

Speaker 4 (26:54):
Hey, and as far as as far as somebody in
each family going to UK and somebody going to you.
You know, George, there's a bad app on in ever family.
You know what I'm saying. Everyone, And there's always there's
always a smarter sibling, you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 2 (27:16):
And Ryan, I'm gonna I'm gonna be the best one.
And empty can does what pardon me, if he can
does what? Ryan make the most noise?

Speaker 4 (27:27):
Yeah, oh yeah, yees, you know what?

Speaker 1 (27:30):
You know what. The first thing is this, so we
love you, Jerry, We love you, Jerry. Sibling is me? Correct, Ryan,
I'm the good sibling and carries the bad one.

Speaker 4 (27:41):
No, Jerry, I was trying to be kind to you.
But I was trying to be kind to you on
the radio, Jerry.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
But that doesn't happen very often. That's not in your nature.
We all know.

Speaker 4 (27:55):
And what hey, By the way, one other thing I
told Patty, I said, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, Hold up
on that pie. We got a football game to play.

Speaker 2 (28:03):
The oven you cut off r hold it up.

Speaker 4 (28:06):
Yeah, I said, you know, we want get that. That
pie may cost Jerry twenty five dollars George forwar it's over.

Speaker 2 (28:13):
Oh, he'll cry out, Hey George, he won't come.

Speaker 1 (28:18):
On that oven. The oven. The oven. George is heating up,
you know, around Thanksgiving. And I mean if y'all don't know,
forget Ryan, his wife can throw down. I mean she
can throw down. Seriously, when my wife, who can cook,
says day that's the best pie I've had. But Kainin
pie is not sweet, George, George, just savory and good.

(28:40):
Nill you throw down?

Speaker 2 (28:42):
No, bs, I'm.

Speaker 5 (28:43):
Getting that pie. If I gotta go coach that game,
and you will, I won't sweet. I've seen it coach
ball before. You will coach the game.

Speaker 1 (28:59):
We will.

Speaker 2 (29:00):
What you got?

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Ryan?

Speaker 2 (29:01):
What?

Speaker 4 (29:01):
Just curious?

Speaker 2 (29:02):
Jerry?

Speaker 6 (29:02):
Uh?

Speaker 4 (29:03):
Anybody go five and zero in the contest?

Speaker 1 (29:06):
Yes they did?

Speaker 2 (29:08):
Oh wow? Oh yes, yes, yeah, yeah, hey they did. Yes.

Speaker 1 (29:12):
I hate to tell you, and I'm gonna get to
it at the end of the show.

Speaker 2 (29:15):
They did.

Speaker 1 (29:16):
Yees, sorry about the baby. They did, you be I'm
gonna get to it. Yes, honestly they did. And you're
not gonna believe who did. Let me.

Speaker 2 (29:27):
One other thing it was. It was a it was
I know I know what when you say that, I
know who it is? Well, good, good.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
I ain't got to worry about the leaders in Okay,
the one right because I went four one.

Speaker 1 (29:42):
I do know that you did, you did, you did,
But no A C did and he got in the
briars patch. Since you brought it up and Ran did
not know. I've not spoked to Ryn about this. He
did not know a C one. He had no idea.
He got in the bar's patch with me. What do
you think happened to him? And he got in the
bars patch with me?

Speaker 4 (29:59):
Ryn, He's probably walking around full of briars. But I
knew you was allful upbeat about something this morning. No
till Ryan, you could tell, couldn't Yeah, when he wins.

Speaker 2 (30:18):
Oh, no question.

Speaker 1 (30:20):
He checked this out. So that Annie just went up
because Billy would kill me. He gives me the money
to give to the lists, So the Annie went up.

Speaker 2 (30:29):
This week.

Speaker 1 (30:29):
It's a hundred and two hundred. It's a real week.
I guarantee I have twenty five. I had twenty five
last week. I guarantee you I had more than twenty five.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
I got my own, I got my own that five
hundred to Jerry, I worried about all that other side.

Speaker 2 (30:45):
I want that big cabbage good, big cabbage, so good.
So let me go.

Speaker 1 (30:50):
So all, I'm gonna say this to you, Ran and George.
We're going to break tomorrow night. Y'all got a real
game again. Michigan State.

Speaker 4 (30:59):
Oh mor we do.

Speaker 7 (31:00):
We're we're.

Speaker 1 (31:03):
New York City.

Speaker 4 (31:04):
Yeah, I mean, that's that's what we do, Jerry. We
played your teams, were played good teams all the time.
You know, you talking about coach you talk about coach
brom getting another year for seven wins.

Speaker 7 (31:17):
Well, between the three high school teams.

Speaker 4 (31:20):
You play at the beginning of the year, if.

Speaker 2 (31:21):
You can't win for an A C C Wow, wow.

Speaker 4 (31:28):
V I call the season the ACS the j V League.

Speaker 1 (31:31):
You know, Okay, I got you, but I'm going for
the clean sweep this year is can tell you wild
Cats and a back to back in football, just to.

Speaker 5 (31:38):
Remind you're always going You're always going for the clean sweep, Jerry.

Speaker 4 (31:44):
But how many years you get clean sweep?

Speaker 2 (31:46):
Jerry?

Speaker 1 (31:47):
Now that's why this year is my year and that
time guys, it's similar.

Speaker 2 (31:52):
Yeah, I have a go.

Speaker 1 (31:55):
Right, we'll be back in a second. Welcome back to
EVE Sports Radio seven forty seven. George. We got another
caller then we got to talk about the Clinton football game.
Justin turn your radio down for me. Justin turn your
radio down and welcome to E Sports. Are you sir man?

Speaker 7 (32:17):
I'm doing okay, doing okay?

Speaker 2 (32:19):
Uh?

Speaker 7 (32:20):
It just uh the football team. I just want to
go to the playoffs. I don't I don't care if
we win. I just want to get in.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
You know, that's done.

Speaker 7 (32:29):
I mean we're about what six to eight points away
from being ten and oher Uh, but we're seventy three.

Speaker 1 (32:37):
Okay, let's talk about this. Let's talk about Let's talk
about the last game. Honestly, Let's go to the last
game and tell me your interpretation of what you watched
against Clemson and the week before what you watch against California.
When you've seen there was absolutely no urgency at all.
When Louisville had a chance last weekend against Virginia, I

(32:59):
was frustrated. How I do sports for a living? Then,
frustrats you. I've done this honestly for fifty years.

Speaker 7 (33:06):
Because yeah, what happened, most most of most of these
kids should be paid on performance, you know, NFL and college.
You know, just you know, on performance, just not getting it.
You know, money to come to the school, and you know,
and and how do you intercept back four times? Who
won a national championship twice of Florida maybe one? But

(33:29):
then against California you let two players, You let two
players beat you, and I think they were both freshmen.

Speaker 1 (33:34):
True freshmen.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
Absolutely right.

Speaker 7 (33:37):
But here's the here's the biggest thing. We have to
find a scrambling quarterback, somebody with the pocket collapses that
can run for the first down, get outside, maybe you know,
make a little something else happened. Most teams are in
the top five, top ten in the NFL and college
have dual threat quarterbacks. And that's just the nature of
the game these days.

Speaker 2 (33:56):
Moss is not the dancer.

Speaker 7 (33:57):
He's overrated and he needs to hang back West because
we don't want him.

Speaker 1 (34:02):
Okay, justin, Justin, George, George, how.

Speaker 2 (34:09):
Much responsibility do you put on coaching justice, Well, I
think a lot of it.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Has we wanted mad Yeah, we got our man.

Speaker 7 (34:19):
We got Brahm. That's who we wanted. And I don't
think it's like a discipline or coaching. I just he's
always been that kind of coach that loses the games
he shouldn't, but wins him big games.

Speaker 2 (34:31):
And I just wish the whole named the Big Games,
named the Big Games.

Speaker 1 (34:38):
Miami. Yes I knew. Okay, that's Clamson.

Speaker 2 (34:44):
Again.

Speaker 1 (34:44):
But here's the deal. Here's my deal, you said, Justine.
I agree with your conversation until you said discipline, peace, Justin.
What I watched was a lock of discipline like I've
never seen before. Friday. Now I did not, I said
in crit I want to be honest with my listeners.
I usually don't lie, I said Friday to a caller.
I was going to the game. I'd stone forgotten that

(35:07):
I had homecoming on Saturday. Tony Branch and I were
honestly cleaning my gymnasium, getting all the pom poms up
from Thursday nights King and Queen party. So I did
not go Friday. I taped it and watched it. I
was frustrated at eleven thirty Friday night, going what is
going on? I just couldn't believe the lack of discipline,

(35:30):
line and pushing people. It seems that every year we
give away one on lack of discipline, and it's just Oh,
this is their pray.

Speaker 7 (35:38):
Okay, everybody performance gotta base.

Speaker 2 (35:44):
I got you, I got you.

Speaker 1 (35:45):
Everyone knows that I was and am a Lamar Jackson man.
And I announced Clemson won it twice in a four
year period. Florida State won it. I think that twenty
thirteen Louisville had a chance. They didn't win it, but
I'll still love Lamar in Louisville. I used to say
to Kentucky fans. They remind me today I said it.
I don't want the Loop fans to say, you never

(36:05):
pushed the a SEC I did. I need to bring
Ryan back on so you can tell you you need
to quit that I did hard well.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
How greater quarterbacking was going on.

Speaker 1 (36:15):
Yes, yes I did. But this since twenty eighteen nineteen,
I started to say, I smell of skunk. I don't
like what I see. Now it's here. It's full blown.
The a SEC is not good. The big wins you're
talking about justin Miami. I'm just not a crystal ball man.
And now the world is saying he's gotta go. I

(36:35):
just don't think the league's very good. That's just the
bottom line. It's not very good. It's been good for
four or five.

Speaker 7 (36:41):
Years, go ahead, yeah, And I mean it's it's it's
probably middle middle, middle of the pack. I mean, Georgia
Tech's got a good squad this year.

Speaker 6 (36:50):
I like that Georgia Tech one. I expect him to
play Georgia next. They will play Georgia Town. They did
last year and they'll do it again. That rivalry gave
Georgia t will. But Georgia Tech had to scramble to win.

Speaker 1 (37:02):
I mean, did they play this right? It almost got them.
I'm like, acc okay, Georgia Tech comes from behind to
beat the Boys Club Boston College thirty six, thirty four.

Speaker 7 (37:14):
No, one last thing, one last thing. And I'm trying
to sorry to interrupt you. You know much that much,
there's so much. There's so much parody in college football
and in sports as we see with uh, you know,
the portal and and that's another thing. I mean, if
you these players trains for anoother schools, they got to
stay at least two years or three years. They can't

(37:35):
just come for one year and then go to another
school and go to another school and go to another school.
Thanks all the fun out of the game, you know.
Give me a dual threat, Give me a dual threat
quarterback here at Louisville.

Speaker 2 (37:45):
So we can have this.

Speaker 7 (37:46):
But then again, I mean we're there's three and.

Speaker 2 (37:49):
Then like the coaches, they want the money to the
coach is transferred. We do too well.

Speaker 7 (37:54):
Pay them add in a game, not before, pay them
on a Monday, not on a Friday. Don't pay them
on a Friday.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
Then here.

Speaker 7 (38:10):
Game we're eight points away from being ten. And oh
as we talk about this.

Speaker 8 (38:14):
So anyway, I mean after the California game, I was
just like, man, I said, are you serious? Here we
go again, Here we go again. But Eli ls up,
We're gonna sweet Kentucky. I'm gonna get my pie.

Speaker 2 (38:28):
Trust me, man, I'm getting worried.

Speaker 7 (38:30):
Now that I'm getting worried, I want their quarterbacks. Don't
see that.

Speaker 1 (38:33):
Man, I'm trying. I'm trying to keep my confidence.

Speaker 7 (38:37):
He's running over people, and our guys worry about its
hair flow.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
You know, to go to California.

Speaker 7 (38:45):
Get back to Cali, man, get back to California.

Speaker 2 (38:49):
Many yeah, yeah, you.

Speaker 7 (38:57):
Guys have a good week.

Speaker 2 (38:58):
Man.

Speaker 1 (38:58):
I enjoy jo joh information. Leave the information. I'm gonna
send you a gift card. That was a good call.
Leave the information. Justin shout to get his address. Here's
the deal. You appreciate you, appreciate you. Here's the deal, George.
You asked before Justin came on, I'm.

Speaker 7 (39:16):
Going to get that Kelsey. I had a wagon. Now
I'm ready to dance like Kelsey.

Speaker 2 (39:19):
Come on, don't break, don't break your.

Speaker 1 (39:24):
Take him, Shannon, take take Justin and get his information.
Thanks Justin, George. I will did announce. I had to.
Roan brought it up. I wasn't gonna do it, but
a c didn't win. He was five and oh he
was five, and oh he got in the brothers patch
with me.

Speaker 2 (39:42):
You're not gonna bring a c up and he's five
and old man? Hold up, what's going on? Right?

Speaker 1 (39:47):
I told him first, I owe him a call. I
told him I'm calling him today. I'm gonna call my boy.
But I did tell him that I was gonna announce it.
So here are the games for this week. And this
week guys, it's one hundred and two hundred, so I
mean it's a real week. I will not keep Billy
Hayes' money. I won't do it. He told me to

(40:08):
give it away. But if I beat you, you gotta
earn it if I beat you two weeks in a
row in resets, I'm sorry. I've got Louisville at s
m U okay, George, Kentucky at Vanderbilt mm hmmm, and
the game so everyone will know I'm taking it is
Kentucky a vanderb the game. Yes, yes, hello? Oh okay,

(40:29):
good well, justin. We'll get you. I get you, but
we'll get you justin. You got no no problem, brother.
We've got Missouri at the Homer, we got Pittsburgh at
Georgia Tech. We've got USC at Oregon. Are the games.
I'll talk to you all tomorrow, George. Great job, brother,
great job at Simmons. Thanks for covering it for it.

(40:50):
Love everybody, have a great day. Get your yard work
done today, George, get your yard work done. Yeah right,

Speaker 2 (40:58):
