All I can say, because I already had people saying
that this was corrupt, that it is corrupt. Last week Friday,
next to the last caller on Friday, probably around seven
forty seven was my wife, Sheila. I hate to tell
you all that last week's winter was my wife. Sheila.
(01:05):
Took out of my dollars, just walked away with the check.
That's not the hard part. This is the bad part, guns,
and you won't put in an inquiry. You should, Okay.
The Pittsburgh game is on Pittsburgh and Georgia Tech. We're
watching the game. I mean, she was watching it intently.
(01:25):
I'm four and oh, I'm four and oh, I said, okay,
so I'm sure there are a lot of people four
and oh I'm four and oh. Well, after Pittsburgh holds
on for the win, she says, I'm five and oh.
How many people you think are five and oh? I said,
I don't know. I always check Sunday morning. She said,
mm m, I'm going to go get that folder right now.
(01:46):
The only person ever touched my folder. I was like, no,
she's not. Hops up out of bed, runs in, runs
back with my folder, opens it up, and starts tallying
up all you all scores. I'm telling you she may
have made some corrections, may have made some changes. I'm
not sure. Next thing I know, she's screaming in the bed,
I'm the winner. I'm the winner. I'm the winner, guys.
(02:08):
So when I checked it Sunday, she was a winner. So, Chila,
welcome to the show. Did you change any scores? That's
all everyone wants to know.
Speaker 2 (02:18):
Absolutely not. I may be a lot of things, but
I'm not gonna be a liar.
Speaker 1 (02:25):
Well, we didn't say you were a liar. What you
called your cheater? Not a liar.
Speaker 2 (02:28):
No, I'm not a cheating either. You watched me. You
washed me intently with the book I opened up in
your presence.
Speaker 1 (02:36):
I don't let anybody touch the book. I don't let
anybody touch the book.
Speaker 3 (02:40):
But you are way I went. I win fair and square.
I win fair and you did.
Speaker 1 (02:46):
I have to admit, guys, the women have won. Now
marry one. Now Sheila has won. Can you believe that?
Marry one?
Speaker 2 (02:56):
Well, I'm gonna go ahead and give my I'm gonna
go ahead and give my wars right now, so that way,
you know. I mean, it's rare that back to back when.
But I'm a try, so i'm gonna go. I'm gonna
go Louisville twenty seven, Kentucky twenty one.
Speaker 1 (03:20):
Hold up, that might not be a good score. Everybody's
having around it score. Let me check. And I've got
a time. I mean, i've guys, when I get rid
of my wife, I'm gonna tell you, I'm gonna find
this email is being in text going back and forth. No,
I had Kentucky. You said I have a flip flop. Okay,
I think you got you said, Louisville twenty seven, Kentucky
(03:41):
twenty one. Correct, Yeah, okay, I think that I have
Kentucky twenty seven, Louisville twenty one. I think you're fine.
So if you're not, I'll let you know. I've got
so many on the internet. So let's go Ohio, State
of Michigan. Okay, oh House six, Miami and Pittsford.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Well, you know it was my last one, so I'm.
Speaker 3 (04:02):
Gonna stick with pitt No.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
I hate to tell you a lot of people. I'm
selecting Picks Texas A and m at Texas, Texas, Vanderbilt
at Tennessee, Tennessee. Okay, we got you in, baby, all right,
don't spend that hundred all in one place. Don't spend
it all.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Well, it may go to Krogs or something, but hey,
you know your benefit.
Speaker 1 (04:31):
Okay, baby, thank you, baby, last week's win. So now
I've had bye bye. I've had two women winners out
of I think ten eleven weeks. Come on, men, women
are truly kicking you, and Patty's been so close. Women,
you all stop me in Krogers. You all listen. You
see women are winning. I don't know why, y'all don't try.
(04:52):
You can email me at j L Eve's five five
five at yahoo dot com. Women win collect money. So
let's get back to the show.
Speaker 3 (05:02):
Guys.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
We've got Lee Sterling at seven forty. So I'm gonna
say the task. I'm gonna get in my callers. Yes,
this email text has been crazy. I've had people texted
me their scores. I've been texting them back saying you've
got the same score. People text me back they take
somebody else to score. Hey, guys, y'all gott to stay
(05:24):
away from his three and a half point spread. I'm
telling you this spread has driven the world crazy. Oh
now I see Sleepless is hitting me in. Let me
get this straight.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
She cann't text the scores, sleep with the boats, and
she wins the pot. That's like the movie uptil Saturday Night, Sleepless,
You're crazy. Bottom line is, guys, there was no hanky
panky going on. Sheila won fair and square. Now Scott,
(05:57):
so you all will know seven to twelve. He's not
with me today and will not be with me next week.
He's out of the country, guys, he's in Europe. I
told you these young people live different. I don't even
know what, Scott, that's what living.
Speaker 1 (06:09):
But I'm telling you I rent his kind well, his
girlfriend's kinda in Florida. They leave me two cars and
it's furnished. Because I can't beat this deal. I only
pay for the time I go down. I mean, I
got the best deal in the world. But we will
not be adding everything up until he comes back, so
(06:30):
I will see him all the scores. When he gets back.
It will not be the first of them. I'm like always,
It'll be the second. Thank you, And I'm coming to
Steve right away. So I wanted y'all to know I
will not be tallying up at the end of this week.
It will be the following week when Scott gets my kid.
Let's bring my man, Steve on before I go to
break Steve Buggin East Words Radio. How are you?
Speaker 5 (06:53):
I'm good here? How are you doing?
Speaker 6 (06:54):
Man?
Speaker 3 (06:55):
Man?
Speaker 1 (06:55):
It's Thanksgiving? Steve. You know I'm good here. I just
got up and put my finger underneath my nose. I'm good, Steve.
But Steve, it's been crazy. My wife just won. My
wife won and everybody. I want you to know, oh,
I know you do. Steve Friday next to last caller
about twenty about seven forty seven. You'll hear her selector scores. Nah,
(07:17):
Martin dunbar, she beats. You see Martin's bad because you
know Martin's in it like you, Steve. Now, Steve, you
slid back. You went three and two, A few guys
went for and one. Yeah, you gotta you gonna have
to get your game on that Louisville game, Steve. Now
tell me what, Steve. It is split down the middle.
I Louis's gotta winner. I'm gonna be on the sideline.
Speaker 3 (07:39):
Steve.
Speaker 1 (07:39):
I don't give a dam what anybody says. I got
a pile on the line. I'm winning. Louis was winning
for Saturday. I don't care what I have to do. Well,
what you what's going on with Louisville, Steve? What's going
on with the team?
Speaker 5 (07:51):
Well? Office not playing well, defense not playing well, coaches
are not coaching special, teams are not playing well. Since
Miami game.
Speaker 1 (08:01):
It's like we stopped. We played Miami, but I never
thought we can playing. We haven't played the step since.
Speaker 5 (08:07):
Yeah, they had to, they had the energy, had the
far a game.
Speaker 3 (08:10):
Man.
Speaker 5 (08:11):
They guys like they quit their day.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Especially I hate to say that I hate to say that,
but I agree with you. I told a few people
it's like, I don't know why, but I'm said that, Steve.
I'm not kidding you. I haven't said on the radio.
It looked like a lot of guys that packed the dead.
They're going fishing, like Charles Barkley said, So it's a rivalry. Now,
what what happened? Steve? On set your opinion. I need
(08:35):
to score Kentucky at Louisville. It's going to be a
fairly warm day. A decent day should be packed. What's
the score?
Speaker 5 (08:43):
Yeah, well, you know los guy players out, but I'm.
Speaker 1 (08:48):
Bails out, spills out, that lays out yep, running back
for our Browns.
Speaker 5 (08:56):
Y'all wanna take Lowell? Let's see. Do you have a
twenty seventeen?
Speaker 3 (09:04):
No? I do not.
Speaker 1 (09:05):
Louisville twenty seventeen? No, I do not.
Speaker 6 (09:07):
Oh got there?
Speaker 5 (09:08):
You got little twenty touching seventeen.
Speaker 3 (09:11):
Okay.
Speaker 1 (09:12):
I think I've been going on the under on a
lot of people because I don't. I just don't see
either team producing a ton of points. It could happen,
I just don't see it. Louis's only scored two touchdowns
and nine quarters Steve, I mean state. I mean it's
like what has happened. It's like, yally, the team just
went away. Ohio State at Michigan, Ohio State at Michigan,
(09:35):
Ohio State. Okay, Michigan has beat them four times in
the row. Indents at Michigan, Miami at Pittsburgh Miami. Okay,
you don't think pitt has a chea. You don't like
what you've seen in Pittsbagh.
Speaker 5 (09:51):
Oh yeah, I like pet Next year, Yeah, next year
they're gonna be good.
Speaker 1 (10:01):
I think they're the best human the conversation. You're not close.
I think it won't be if they keep those two
players not close. They're really good. Texas A and M
at Texas, Texas A and M. Vanderbilt at Tennessee.
Speaker 5 (10:20):
Give me a home team, Tennessee.
Speaker 1 (10:23):
Yep. I'm gonna tell you. I've been looking at this
since about four point thirty this morning. Most people, now
everybody came out to Vanderbilt. I want to say my
last Okay, my wife took Tennessee. It's been mixed. It's
been three and three this morning between Tennessee and Vandy.
(10:44):
People are taking Tennessee. You took Tennessee. Wife, Tennessee, their home. Yep,
Joe Tennessee, Mike Tennessee, David P. Tennessee, David Vanderbilt, Adam Vanderbilt,
Johnny Vanderbilt.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
I got a ton hold up.
Speaker 1 (11:01):
This is Jeff Tennessee, Patty Tennessee, Ron Tennessee, Tennessee. People
are there, yep. People are starting to lean Tennessee. Honestly,
it came on early Vandy, but people are leaning. Well.
I got you down, Steve. Have a great Thanksgiving brother,
and you can get posted. Not next week I will, Steve,
(11:22):
but the following week, when Scott gets back, I will
be I will be having him total them up. I
don't I just send him to him. He does it
so we don't get this messed up. So I'll be
posting him in two weeks. Appreciate Steve. I gotta get
the break.
Speaker 5 (11:37):
Okay, okay, thank.
Speaker 1 (11:40):
You Eves Sports Radio and guys, it's gonna be cold Saturday,
which means running games are gonna have to be an effect,
which means it would be tilting toward Kentucky. I don't
care what I have to do. I don't care what
Jerry's has to do. I'm winning that pie. We'll talk
to you after the break. Welcome back to Eve Sports
Radio seven one. I'm gonna read this properly. I want
(12:03):
to read this correctly, so I bring this guy on.
Let me get this straight. She can check the scores,
sleeps with the bookie and wins the pot. This is
like uptown Saturday night. Yes, please bring bring Sleepless to
the show.
Speaker 3 (12:22):
Sleepless.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
What's your problem?
Speaker 3 (12:25):
Oh nothing, sir.
Speaker 7 (12:26):
Good morning, mister Biggie Small, Good morning.
Speaker 3 (12:29):
How are you. I'm good.
Speaker 2 (12:34):
I'm not questioning anything, sir. Don't see nobody after me.
Speaker 1 (12:39):
I'm still looking. I've still got ice chasing you. I
want them. I've got honestly.
Speaker 3 (12:45):
Sleep.
Speaker 7 (12:46):
Oh my goodness, all I can.
Speaker 1 (12:47):
Say, go back to Friday. I'm seven forty seven. You'll
hear the scores. I did not do it, she beats you.
Don't be mad at me the book I am, but
I had nothing to do with it.
Speaker 3 (13:00):
Oh my goodness.
Speaker 7 (13:01):
Hey, let me give you my scores so I can
get back on the road.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
I'm ready. Let's go with it. Kentucky Louis, will Sleepless.
Speaker 7 (13:09):
Give me Kentucky twenty two to nine.
Speaker 1 (13:13):
He kind of scores that Sleepless.
Speaker 7 (13:16):
Twenty two to nine. You watch twenty two to nine.
Speaker 1 (13:19):
I've written it down. What are you gonna cast your
winning check?
Speaker 3 (13:22):
Sleepless.
Speaker 7 (13:24):
I was telling my wife, I got a deposit that thing.
We need to buy some turkey or something. So I
got up to the bank from time today.
Speaker 1 (13:31):
So I told I told Scott Bulwage, boy, I cancel
that thing. Ohio State, Michigan, give.
Speaker 3 (13:38):
Me Ohio State.
Speaker 1 (13:40):
I'm one of the few people that still keeps a
register on the check book, and I check them waiting
to see. When people to positive, I call them George
the positive check, Sleepless, the positive check. Miami. I went Pittsburgh,
Miami and Pittsmack.
Speaker 7 (13:54):
Give me Pittsburgh, They're they're in upset mode.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Give me Pittsburgh, Texas A and m at.
Speaker 7 (14:01):
Texas, Texas A and M and then give me Vanby.
Speaker 1 (14:06):
I've got you sleepers. Be safe back out there see here,
Bye bye. Okay. Anyway, guys, I did not do this.
There was no hanky panky with this score. She beat
you off. Let me tell you who really was mad
at Martin Dunbar. Who is vine for the money? Ryan
was leading? I still think he is. I don't tally
(14:27):
the scores, but Martin Dunbar and Anthony Thornton. People are
starting to creep. They caught Steve. Steve's gone three and
two a few times. They were four and one last week.
People are trying to This thing is getting really, really tight.
I'm telling you, it's the best one I've ever done
with this last tally, in all the scores, it's the
best one we've ever had. I had twenty four, Greg,
(14:51):
I had twenty four people entries last week. Greg, welcome
to the sports Ready, how are you?
Speaker 8 (14:56):
I've done good? How are you doing today?
Speaker 1 (14:59):
Gregor? Come on? You know the deal. You listen to
the show.
Speaker 3 (15:02):
I want the show. I'm doing great.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
It could always be worse. I'm always out. So let's
get with you. Got Kentucky and Louisville. What's gonna happen.
Speaker 8 (15:14):
It's gonna be the best defense that Louisvill's play. Believe
or not, Kentucky's not in Kentucky winning overtime with Texas.
They're gonna win the game thirty one to twenty one.
Speaker 1 (15:23):
Okay, Kentucky thirty one, Louisville twenty one. I do not
have that score. You're getting in the briers patch with me.
Most don't.
Speaker 8 (15:30):
But I mean go ahead and take that. Take it on.
Speaker 1 (15:35):
I'm taking it under twoenty points. You know that Okay,
Ohio State and Michigan absolutely file State Michigan.
Speaker 8 (15:43):
You know, Oklahoma's defense is pretty dagon good. They've only
give up one hundred yards Russian one time this year.
That was the Michigan Wolverine's winning again.
Speaker 1 (15:52):
Oh five in a row. I like that five in
a row could be. I don't know why people don't
give them more consideration. They beat them.
Speaker 8 (16:03):
The only reason that Ohio State is playing Michigan is
because fron Creek didn't have an open date.
Speaker 1 (16:09):
Man, there you go. You're right though they played one. Okay,
let's be fair. The Big ten has won it the
last two years. But they're one hundred percent right. They're
top heavy. It's either Michigan, Ohio State, Ohio State, Indiana,
but they're top heavy. They don't have it. Used to
be Pitton State, but we all saw what happened this year.
(16:30):
It was a disaster. But the Big ten is very
top heavy, So I agree with you. While State did
not even have to play Oregon, I mean, you can
only play the people that the computer gives you. It's
not like they picked the schedule. They do not not
their conference schedule. I want everybody to understand that you
have nothing to do with it. The computer gives you
your schedule. But the bottom line is it's top heavy.
(16:51):
They only had one quality win, Miami and Pittsburgh.
Speaker 8 (16:57):
I think Miami is better, but I think Miami is
a better team. But I'm gonna I think Pittsburgh got
the mojo right now.
Speaker 1 (17:04):
I'm gonna go pitt There you go, Texas A and
m and Texas.
Speaker 8 (17:10):
Texas a man, best team in the.
Speaker 1 (17:11):
Country, best team in the country. That quarterback m he
should be in the Heisman running. He's really good. Vanderbilt
at Tennessee, Pavia, come on, let me tell you so.
Speaker 8 (17:24):
Tennessee is not only gonna win, they're gonna crush it.
Because of Favia's mouth at the beginning of the year
saying they were gonna run the state of Tennessee. These
boys circled this game. I know people like when I
go to the games, I tailgate with all the ex
players and they're involved in that. This I'm telling you
right now, it's gonna be a crazy atmosphere and they're
gonna pound Vandon.
Speaker 1 (17:42):
Built Okay, Tennessee, I got you. I mean, there are
a lot of great games. Greg, I've got you down.
Seems like you're out there on the road is a
little slick, Greg, be safe out there, brother, that's good.
Speaker 7 (17:54):
We'll see you too.
Speaker 1 (17:56):
Take care. So guys at seven twenty seven. Now, let
me get some things out. I haven't gotten out that
I wanted to yesterday because I've kind of got john
I'm coming to you before the break. Before though I
goted Johnny. I want to make sure that I didn't.
I have not told you a high school scores. Congratulations
(18:17):
to Atherton forty eight, Bowling Green twenty one. Athton is
put on its way to a championship, you know, Bron,
I want to just say congratulations to Afington Kyle forty eight,
over Union County seven, Kentucky Christian Kentucky Country Day thirty seven,
Newport six, You've got Owensboro forty one. Faaradell seven, great job, Faradel,
(18:40):
great season, Riley twenty eight, Frederick Douglas twenty seven. San
Xavier came from behind. Give coach Wolf his due. I
give Meil a hard time, but give that man his due.
He put his team together. He came back defeated at
Manuel and also had Sant Xavier down at halftime. Give
(19:00):
him his du he can coach. What trying to hold
down on your noise? Just one second for me? And
Trinity is sixty four. We've got Madison Central twenty seven.
Of course Trinity moves on. So you've got Trinity at
Saint Xavier, Rouse at South Warrenville County at cal and
(19:21):
Atherton at Platte. That's our high school football report. Now
let's get to it. Who I have on the line
making all that noise? Johnny, Joy and Jerry, what's going on?
You you're making I'm great, you're making a lot of noise.
Speaker 3 (19:36):
What you're doing?
Speaker 9 (19:37):
You knock it in the yard again, out in the
yard again, just for my morning routine.
Speaker 1 (19:44):
I got you. So, Johnny, get to the school while
our scores in yesterday.
Speaker 9 (19:50):
I got my scores in yesterday.
Speaker 1 (19:52):
You did? Yeah? Yeah? So uh?
Speaker 9 (19:55):
And I forgot to mention uh Victoria Wilder.
Speaker 3 (20:00):
Uh.
Speaker 9 (20:01):
Adrian's mother. She had surgery last night. She had some
ear issues her whole life, and she's got that. So
she's at home doing well. But I didn't say anything
about Adrian, which I don't know if you remember him
or not, but he plays for Butler, and uh, I
talked about him last year during the playoffs and everything
and how well he was doing. And uh, he's got
(20:24):
a scholarship and he's going to go to a K state. Okay, great, Yeah,
so he just let I don't want to be the
first one saying he's going to be the leading scorer
in Jefferson County this year and they're going to win
their district and we'll see how the city already turns out.
Speaker 1 (20:45):
What's that? Well, you do know that the season has
already started, and he said.
Speaker 9 (20:49):
Well, in their first game is December one.
Speaker 1 (20:53):
M Balas at Oldham County Mills and I think collegiate.
We've got Central at the Sales on the second, Manu
at Cooper on the second, Firm cal St. Xavier at
More and Adverton at Bilities. High school basketball is often
running you're correct.
Speaker 9 (21:12):
Yeah, exactly, And I'm not sure who. I'm not sure
who Butler's playing, but they played December first, that's gonna
be their first regular season game.
Speaker 3 (21:21):
Okay, I don't know if you have.
Speaker 9 (21:25):
Yeah, he's a very kid and doing well, but uh
his uh Vicky's husband Jenny's daughter. They're coming down here.
They're gonna leave tomorrow late to night. We're gonna play
golf all week. Uh Jackson, Yeah, Josh's son. He played
(21:47):
for north Oldham and if they want to get they
they lost to Franklin County. If they were gonna win,
of course they wouldn't have came down that they lost
last week, so his season came to an end. So
that you know, great, are you gonna come down and
play some golf?
Speaker 1 (22:03):
There you go, Johnny, don't rub it in. It's seven
thirty one. Last break was I got? I got Lee
Sterling and it's seven forty so I've got to get
the break right.
Speaker 9 (22:12):

pick pick up whatever we don't cook. We cook about
(24:30):
three quarters to pick up the rest of it and
pick up my father in law and we and we
have fun. Thirty two of us exactly.
Speaker 3 (24:42):
We'll have about thirty people. Honestly, it will be packed.
But it's a great time. I love Thanksgiving, I really do.
Just family time. That's why I'm taking off. I'm taking
off tomorrow, Thursday and Friday. That's what I love my listeners.
But I got a life. I love my family. It's
the best time. And Thanksgiving and Christmas no better time.
Speaker 1 (24:58):
Lee.
Speaker 3 (24:58):
I got a question. We get into these games. I
really do see because you do do this for a living,
and I'm sure people get mad at you. But I
had not a dime on the line, nor did I care.
But when Brian Schottenheimer did not kick the field goal
to go up twenty four to twenty one, I couldn't
but I was enraged. Tell me something, what's going on?
(25:19):
If you had money on that game? People are losing
their minds? Correct? What's come on? Man? Help me with that.
Speaker 6 (25:25):
You to remember, Remember, you have to remember these these coaches,
most of them are glorified Jim teachers.
Speaker 3 (25:35):
That's what they are hope to see. Though, I'm telling
you I've sort of believed. I mean, Lee, I did
this for a living, Lee, I coached for a living.
I raised my family. I would have never made that
decision ever, that would even across from a million years right,
I'm sitting here. I just don't understand it now, not
with that kind of money on the line. Lee. I
(25:55):
don't want people to understand that the players, they have bonuses,
that the wins they have, how far they go, if
they get to the playoffs. Attached to wins, the locker
room would have been enraged if they lost that game.
I just don't and they have someone there. They have
someone there almost every team now, every almost every college,
high level team and NFL team has someone to tell
(26:19):
them what to do. They also have charts just you know,
just like I said, they're glorified school teachers, a lot
of them, Jim Teachers Lee. When they snapped the ball,
I said, this is the dumbest stuff I've ever seen
in my life. I'm sorry, I just did. They end
up winning. Thank you Lord for my wife who was
(26:40):
going crazy, But I just could not believe in I watched,
so I just wanted to know your opinion. You're under
sent right. We are glorified, Jim Teachers Lee. I did
this for a little. I coached professionally on the bench
seven years, scouted for four eleven total. Got me. I've
done more games than NBA, than Caliparia and the teen
almost put together. Got me. About all the analytics, it's
(27:01):
not new. We had computers back then. We did all
those things. Bad three pointers, good fifteen footers, drawing free throws.
We did. I don't know what happened, but that when
I watched Sunday Night was straight. You're right, that was
high school stuff. That was great. Why that should not
happen in a pro game, So let's get with it.
(27:21):
You've got some great games, like always. I don't know
how you picked these things. But this Tennessee Vanderbilt game,
I have the same game and it's split down the middle.
Tell me your opinion.
Speaker 6 (27:32):
Yeah, tough game. Not crazy that Tennessee's number three fastest
paced offense with seventy three plays, that's not crazy.
Speaker 1 (27:42):
You kind of know that.
Speaker 6 (27:44):
Here's what I'm surprised at. Out of one hundred and
thirty six teams, Vannibals one twenty six and slowest team,
they only get off sixty one point three plays. So
if you think you're going to see probably a forty
five forty one game, maybe not. Both teams played super
well last week. I mean Tennessee kind of shut it
(28:04):
down after a half when they're up thirty one nothing.
Last year's game at Vanderbilt, Tennessee dominated thirty six to
twenty three. They I mean over two and a half
yards to one five twenty eight to two twelve total yards.
So it shows me they dominated the line of scrimmage.
I think Vanderbilt is good, but I'm not sure Vanderbilt,
even though they have closed the gap can do enough
(28:27):
to win here, Diego Pavey is gonna have to be
out of his mind. I like Tennessee thirty five twenty
eight by a tough game, gotcha.
Speaker 3 (28:35):
No, you could see that. Mandy let Paveys stand in
the game longer than they should have. You can see
he's trying to make his gun for the Heisman. He
had a fantastic week last week. I watched the entire
game against Kentucky. He's great, He's a very, very good,
unique little player. But you think Tennessee is the call
in this game?
Speaker 6 (28:54):
Probably just still a little more talent offense. And yeah,
and Tennessee's a penal up. Yeah, it'll be crazy. You know,
it'll be crazy on the river.
Speaker 3 (29:04):
Let's go to that next week. I mean, maybe we
hear about Ohio State Michigan so much we do well,
let's just be honest. Texas and and Texas could be
the largest rivalry in the country. I Mean, people don't
want to admit that, but it could be. On the sneak.
What had Texas A and M I think is the
best team in the country. I think they're better than
(29:24):
Ole State. They've played a stronger schedule than Ile State,
but Oile State this year does have a quality defense.
What happens in this.
Speaker 6 (29:31):
Game, so best passing game Texas A and M is faced.
Believe it or not, We're two teams.
Speaker 1 (29:38):
CJ.
Speaker 6 (29:39):
Carr twenty for thirty two for two to ninety three,
one touchdown, one interception. They scored forty Kaylon Green nineteen
for thirty two for two fifty six, three touchdowns, no interceptions.
They scored forty two on them A and M. I
here's what I'm shocked. Usually top five ranked teams, they
have a lot of interceptions because especially they're leading most
(30:00):
of the game, only three interceptions all year. I do
think though that Texas, since Ohio State has faced just
three good offenses all in the last three weeks. Vanderbilt
put up thirty one, Georgia thirty five, Arkansas thirty seven.
A and M is is better and I think there
(30:24):
and they're going to unleash their entire playbook looking to
secure secure that top four seed plus revenge for last year.
Texas dominated that game last year. I think A and
M is the difference here. I just think that they
have the best quarterback here in the game, and I
think Marcel Reid with those two receivers. Just those those
(30:48):
guys are practically unguardable. They haven't crossing the field. When
they cross the field, they're dangerous. I like A and M.
It's gonna be a fun game thirty eight to thirty four.
Speaker 3 (30:58):
Okay, a lot of people haven't had a chance to
really watch them closely. Tell me a little bit more
about about Read the quarterback. I like it. He's a
dual threat. He can throw the ball. He's fairly accurate.
Tell me any weaknesses that we need to know about him.
Speaker 6 (31:13):
Your opinion, Well, he does throw some interceptions from time
to time. Sometimes when he's looking he doesn't see the
linebacker coming from the other side. He misreads some coverags.
He's young, you know, still the true sophomore. So there's
some games he has and aren't great. But what's crazy
is he comes back from that game against Southern South Carolina,
(31:37):
they're down thirty to three. He looked terrible. He hit
two or three interceptions. And then the LSU game, he
throws two interceptions the first after trailing, so leads him
back to wins. So he's able to overcome it. Some quarterbacks,
you know, they throw interceptions, you know, like Carson Beck
from IMI. He throws two three early early interceptions. He's
(31:58):
done for the day.
Speaker 3 (32:00):
Yeah, he's dead now. He was with a great team.
I'm sorry I used to give Carson Beggs. Dude, Georgia
made him look good. No, he's not. He's not a
quality quarterback. You're right, Well, he has a good arm.
Speaker 6 (32:11):
He has a good arm. He's going to get drafted third,
fourth round because he's got the physical actresses.
Speaker 3 (32:17):
The right team big, he's big.
Speaker 6 (32:20):
I agree with right team, and he is pretty accurate.
He's not like some of these guys. There's some guys
like to play for Penn State over the years. They're
not not accurate with the right coach, with the right coach,
he needs. He needs at least two years sitting on
the bench and learning.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Okay, and like you said, with Red twenty five touchdowns,
eight interceptions, he does he will throw that ball away.
They did have to come back and run. Was crazy.
He can run. That's the key with him. So all right, then,
so you're telling me Texas in him is the call
in this game?
Speaker 6 (32:52):
Right?
Speaker 1 (32:52):
Yep?
Speaker 3 (32:53):
Gotcha. Virginia Virginia Tech. We know that Virginia Tech now
has the great James Franklin from Penn State. I think
that's a nice nitch for him. That might be a
place for him. They don't have much of football team.
What happens, I means Virginia the team that gets in
the college football playoffs from the ACC or will it
(33:13):
be Miami?
Speaker 6 (33:14):
Right, So what's interesting is the oh they paraded him around.
They had him on the interview with the booth for
almost a quarter. They had him walk around the field.
He was shaking hands, take taking pictures with babies. I mean,
that's they're trying to build. Hope. He's going to steal
probably half of the Penn State class f IM. Here
(33:36):
is Virginia quarterback Channel Morris starting to play well again.
He started real hot start the year, then cooled off.
But three hundred and sixteen yards are a game two
weeks ago. They're coming off of buye whereas Virginia Tech
whatever they had left they played last week against Miami.
Virginia Tech's past the number seventy three in the country.
(33:56):
Virginia has some good receivers. Virginia wants to obviously get
into the championship game ACC Championship. Virginia Tech's won eighteen
the last twenty I was shocked they've dominated so much.
Speaker 1 (34:08):
Uh.
Speaker 6 (34:09):
Virginia is known for their offense, but their run defense
actually gives up just three point three yards per carrying
one hundred and seven point three yards per car game.
And that's how Virginia Tech travels. They're not a passing
team at all. Their quarterback drinks not a and they
might go to the backup. Who knows, they might see
what they have. I think the two weeks to prepare
for this game. After at Duke thirty four to seventeen win,
(34:32):
Virginia looks like Dave regrouped here. Always tough in a
rivalry game, laying double digits, but they are at home,
and I think Virginia Tech quick Virginia thirty one seventeen.
Speaker 3 (34:43):
I'm with you one hundred this acc only one team's
getting in. If that is that one team going to
be Miami your opinion. If Miami wins out, Miami has
to be Pittsburgh. And Mason is good. You said that
first quarterback. I knew nothing about him. Mason's good. He's
really good, great running back.
Speaker 6 (35:01):
Yeah yeah, I mean I don't think so, I really don't.
Here's why I think they're gonna lose on Saturday, so
Henchel is good. Miami has not Mace faced any real
good passing quarterbacks since maybe Kevin Jennings, and they lost
(35:21):
on the road. Here's the deal. It was only like
mid sixties, early low to mid sixties last week a
Virginia Tech. These kids can't play in cold weather.
Speaker 5 (35:30):
Can't.
Speaker 6 (35:30):
It's gonna be high at thirty six lower thirty two.
Tell me was I think a couple of years ago.
Two years ago they beat Boston College, who was complete
garbage last week of the season on the road when
it was cold. These kids don't. Not eight years ago
Miami went up there. Their perfect season ended this week.
(35:56):
I like pitt here twenty seven to twenty four, wrong
team favorite. Hate to say it, man, I hate great information.
Speaker 3 (36:02):
Lee. I know it's not even on your list, but
I great information. This is topsy turvy.
Speaker 1 (36:07):
Let's go Louisville, Kentucky.
Speaker 3 (36:09):
I mean Lee my school. He scored two touchdowns and
nine quarters. That's all I did say to you. This
is almost it's.
Speaker 1 (36:17):
Like win to do it.
Speaker 6 (36:18):
How they can do it?
Speaker 1 (36:19):
Here?
Speaker 3 (36:21):
Christ out out out exactly, both Browns out look. I
got a pie wager on this game. You might see
me on the sideline lead. I gotta win this game.
I gotta figure out a way. Coach Rob and I are
gonna start meeting tomorrow. That's all there is to it.
I've got to find a way. Is there any way
Louisville can pull this? I know their favorite, but it's
an upset if they win. How does Louisville do it? Yeah?
Speaker 6 (36:44):
I was Kentucky's five and six. They need to win
for the Bowl. Uh Mark dude playing for his coaching life.
Carter Bowie horrible last week. I mean got to bounce
back from three interceptions. Louisville seems, in my opinion, like
they quit just watching them. The second can have forny language,
didn't compete, injuries all over. As we mentioned, the win
(37:05):
versus Miami was a high, and then it seems like
that was so long ago. It's like that girlfriend you
dated years ago. You're trying to reminisce wrong team favorite exactly.
Speaker 3 (37:19):
I have to win this game. I won the basketball game. Yes,
I put myself out there. I said I was gonna
sweep Kentucky, sweep them. My brother went to Kentucky. He's
like the fourth black athlete. League. But golly, whatever I
have to do, you might see me down there paying rests.
I don't care what I have to do. We all
know everything.
Speaker 6 (37:36):
He's on the table now you gotta do, gotta do
what you gotta do exactly.
Speaker 3 (37:43):
We've got the Ravens Bengals, and I'm concerned.
Speaker 1 (37:46):
You know, I love them.
Speaker 3 (37:46):
Are my people just know I love the Mark. I
think he rushed what seven times for eleven yards? They
know he's hurt. He's practiced three times in three weeks
where he went full play. Why are they playing him?
He is a runningquarter back. Yes, he passed it much
better people thought, but his strength is his legs, rushing integrity.
They must blitz him because if they just say go
(38:09):
get him and open up lane, Lamar would run all day.
He's hurt. What is he playing? I mean, I just
don't get it.
Speaker 7 (38:15):
I don't know.
Speaker 3 (38:16):
I mean, yeah, you know they're paid.
Speaker 6 (38:17):
The paid a lot of money. He paid a lot
of money. It's not like back in the day when
you made fifty one hundred grand. This is this is
you know, they've paid some of these quarterbacks, you know,
like a third of the salary of the whole team.
Practically and he's one of them, so one of them
it's going to be. You know what you expect. The
last three weeks, they're winning, but they're not covering Cincinnati
(38:39):
no back toor cover. Well, they Cincinnati finally did cover. Yeah,
Baltimore is not covering at all. They're winning, but not
covering Baltimore Cincinnati at back tooor cover. I have a
feeling this is the week that that everything blows up
on Cincinnati at defense played bad as well as they
can play, and they're bad. I like Baltimore here. I
think they win this game here thirty twenty.
Speaker 3 (39:01):
Okay, I don't. I think Baltimore could squeak a win.
I just don't know why. When you know he's not
a stationary passer. He's not datating those guys who can
take injuries and be the same. You know, he's a
running quarterback, and if he really hurts a wheel.
Speaker 1 (39:16):
It's over.
Speaker 3 (39:17):
That's why I don't see. I understand they're paying him
a lot, but we've seen what happened RG three. You
have to be very particular with running quarterback. That's all
I'm saying. So, but you're right, they pay him a
lot of money and he has the play and he
is playing, I give him all the credits in the world.
He shouldn't be, but he is Lions Packers, I mean,
this is a Lions Packers, I mean, and both teams
(39:38):
strung at times? What do they have to do to
get that game from me?
Speaker 6 (39:42):
Thanksgiving Day? Love this game and it's part of the
fifteen games I'm giving out. How about this Turkey shootout?
Fifteen games just ninety seven dollars. Normally it's one ninety seven,
ninety seven dollars this year, and you get all fifteen games,
You're ready to go. You don't have to call. Be
back on Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday. A lot of people
(40:03):
are going to hit the road. So fifteen games, ninety
seven dollars. I'm going to give you this game for
free to start off. So first five callers get it
for free. Eight hundred four hundred nine seven for to one.
