of Louisville football player, All Pro cornerback when the Browns
were really good. George used to call me and still does, calls.

So you're pretty good, George. I have to give you credit.
You're pretty good.
Speaker 3 (03:07):
I thought.
Speaker 2 (03:08):
So something's wrong with you, though, George.
Speaker 1 (03:13):
But that's all. I'm not gonna We're not gonna get
it in.
Speaker 3 (03:15):
Okay, No, we're not getting in George.
Speaker 2 (03:18):
Today, I'm gonna ask you one question first and foremost,
and I want you to be honest with you. Have
you stepped outside yet? Oh no, indea, no.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
No, no, no, no care no. I the wind's starting
to blow.
Speaker 2 (03:35):
Okay, George, Well, if you step outside now, it is
twenty six degrees and it feels twenty two. George. It
was seventy three yesterday, seventy three degrees. It is twenty
six degrees. The wind's blowing. It feels like it's twenty two.
I just thought i'd make you a day. So everyone
(03:55):
getting ready to step out there, wrap up? Wrap up?
Oh how Valley weather, That's all I can say, George.
Ohhiw Valley weather. How can that be? It was seventy
years club word.
Speaker 3 (04:08):
Mother Nature, Baby, That's why I keep telling people don't
play with her. She is not one to be messed with.
And we keep wanting to do these dumb things and
experiment on this, and experiment on this, and tell her
what she's gonna do. Yeah, you don't play with Mother Nature.
Once she breaks in, baby, she can she can run
fat batter.
Speaker 2 (04:26):
Possible flurries, George. I'm reading this off my phone. Win Advisory.
These cert conditions are expected to last to one pm Monday,
December twenty ninth. Possible flurries, chances of flurries for the
next hour. Flurries, George, Then you're about snowflake.
Speaker 3 (04:42):
Yeah, George, I tell you what's so funny, Jared you
last night I went out and now when I was
coming in. You could hear the wind howling, you know
what I mean. You knew it was coming. You know,
it really wasn't blowing real hard, but you could hear
it coming, you know what I mean. And I just
stay oblate to hear it. But it was. It was
going very hard last night when I came in, So
(05:02):
I knew we would have a cool morning this morning.
Speaker 2 (05:06):
Absolutely, and it's everyone. You can do it, Jack, that's
all right away.
Speaker 3 (05:11):
How bad you could do?
Speaker 2 (05:13):
Yeah, from seventy to twenty six in five or six hours, George,
I hope everybody's safe.
Speaker 1 (05:19):
We only got high winds.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
And rain here for about thirty minutes in prospect, George,
that's all.
Speaker 1 (05:24):
We got.
Speaker 2 (05:25):
One direction will win that rains thirty minutes and that
was it. So that was a blessing. That's all we received.
So I hope everyone else came out the same way.
I'm not sure if you did or did not, but
I hope that they did. So, George, here's the deal.
I told people the trus because I did shut it down,
and I shut it down, but we're back. Let's go
(05:45):
through the schedule. You and I today are button heads.
We've got all the games. These are the games. They
have three days to get them in. I'm on today,
Tomorrow and Winday No Friday, Monday, Tuesday, Winds. We've got
Ohio State Miami. That's a great game. We have the
game that matters Texas Tech Oregon.
Speaker 1 (06:08):
Great game.
Speaker 2 (06:09):
We've got Eyeu at Alabama and people are starting to
question you a little bit, George. Alabama is starting to
creep up. I heard in the gambling. I really didn't
hear that, George. I'm lying. I'm just trying to make
it interesting, George, George, I have to go find Honestly,
(06:34):
I had to go find some of my friends to
let me know what to spread. Well, I had to
call ron Or Blanding to truly let me know our Scott,
to let me know what to spread. I have no idea, guys,
but anyway, it sounded good. We've got Georgia. It did.
Speaker 1 (06:51):
But I had to tell the truth.
Speaker 2 (06:52):
George. I can't help it, damn it. I can't remember, Honestly,
people who don't I don't know how they remember what
they say. That's all. I'm too old to try to remember.
George and the game the pros which we're going to first, George,
the game the Charger and the Broncos.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
George's NFL.
Speaker 2 (07:12):
I think the NBA needs to take a lesson from
the NFL. Absolutely, no question. What a regular season, George,
that's all I could say. What a regular season? And
it's not over yet. So we have got the Chargers
at the Broncos are the five games? So, George, we
got five this week, three next week the championship game,
(07:38):
and if there's an NFL game being played, I'm not
sure I having matched the weekends up, George. The NFL
has six weeks left before the Super Bowl. College football
has got four weeks and they space it, so we
upt the wait and see to see what happens. But
if there's a game played, there'll be two. So that's
all we've got left, George. Ten games left, five, three
next week to the last. With George ten games left
(08:02):
to catch Martin's leading, he's up three on run. And
there are a bunch of people with Steve right behind ron.
Anything can change, George, anything can change.
Speaker 1 (08:13):
So that's what we have.
Speaker 2 (08:15):
That is the contest. That's where we are. I've gotten one, two, three, four, five,
six seven in a lot of people have sent them
to me. I will read them to you. Let me
just do that now so those people can kind of
hear the scores again. Adam to go out State over Miami.
He took Oregon over Texas Tech thirty four to twenty eight.
Speaker 1 (08:37):
He took Indiana over Obama. He took Georgia over Ole Miss. Adam,
I think you sent me your score for the Charger
Denver game, but you have to get that to me.
Greg Is Texas Tech twenty eight, Oregon twenty one flip flopped.
He took Miami over Ohio State. I mean this is
(09:00):
he took Alabama over Indiana. He did take George over
Ole Miss. He took the Broncos. Richard was Oregon twenty four,
Texas take seventeen. He took go out State over Miami, Indiana, Obama,
Georgia over Ole Miss, and Richard, I do not have
your charger than for score, have to get it into me.
Speaker 2 (09:21):
This week. Mike took Oregon twenty seven, Texas take seventeen,
and he took Bama, Georgia, Chargers and Ohio State. Johnny, guys,
I got a lot, so we're at seven fifteen. As
you all see, John, I'm not gonna give you all
of them. Johnny has Oregon thirty five, Texas Tech thirty
(09:43):
Joe has Oregon, has Texas Tech twenty seven, Oregon twenty four.
Guys Sleepless has Texas Tech thirty seven, Oregon forty one. So, guys,
we've got three days. George, we got Steve on the line. Great, great, great,
So we're gonna get Steve before we go to break.
Those are the scores that we have, guys right now.
(10:04):
So let's go to Steve. He'll be about my eighth
or ninth. Got it, Steve, Welcome to the Esports Radio.
Are you.
Speaker 4 (10:11):
Morning, Jerry? Morning George?
Speaker 3 (10:13):
Hey, see how you doing so good? Differ from you?
Speaker 4 (10:16):
I'm good, Hey, George, I see your buddy every week
at at the gym. Marcello's yes, sir, yes, sir, talk
to more.
Speaker 3 (10:26):
Yeah, tell him, I said, hello.
Speaker 4 (10:29):
I sure will, George.
Speaker 1 (10:33):
Okay, we'll come to Richard next.
Speaker 2 (10:35):
Steve. This thing is tight.
Speaker 1 (10:37):
This thing is tight, and we've got ten games.
Speaker 2 (10:39):
I want everybody to understand there are ten games, five
this week, three not three next week, and then two
weeks after that there'll be two ten games to make
up this difference for this five hundred bucks. It is close.
So before we get into it, I want you to
tell me what you thought about out the Louisville Toledo
(11:02):
football game. I did not watch it. I know the score,
of course, but I did not watch it.
Speaker 1 (11:06):
How was the game? Did you watch the game?
Speaker 2 (11:09):
Yes? I did tell me about it. No.
Speaker 4 (11:12):
I wasn't very impressed a little at all. Okay, of course,
you know there's a lot of guys out on both sides,
so you really can't judge it.
Speaker 2 (11:22):
Well. Well, I was glad to see Brown. I was
supplied Brown played. I think that's a really good sign
for Louisville having him come back, for him to play
in that game, whenever I thought he was gonna sit
it out, he had the two touchdowns. I think that's
a good sign. Looks like he may be coming back.
Speaker 4 (11:38):
Yeah, it looks like he's coming back. Both the Brown's
hat over one hundred yards. So they played well. They
played well. But as far as quarterback, he did a
few good a few bad ones. I got you, Yeah, right.
Speaker 2 (11:54):
A lot of people call him Miller missed when he came.
So I'll have to go to that transfer portal see
if we can find another time. Shucked?
Speaker 1 (12:01):
Is that?
Speaker 2 (12:01):
But George shuck hoop. He's hooping George in the NFL
if they won four in a row. George, he is
playing well. I cannot he is really played, surprising me,
playing really well. So let's get with it, Steve, it's
already seven eighteen. The game that matters Texas Tech Oregon.
Where you gonna go?
Speaker 4 (12:19):
Give me Oregon twenty seven, Texas Tech twenty four.
Speaker 2 (12:23):
Okay, let me check out. I've got that score. I
don't know if it's an other way around. It's the
other way around. Joe has Texas Tech twenty seven, Oregon
twenty four. So you're good. Ohile state in Miami?
Speaker 4 (12:35):
Ohis state?
Speaker 2 (12:37):
Okay? And let me make sure I wrote this down right,
because George knows you. I know I'm crazy. You took
Oregon twenty seven, Texas Tech twenty four, correct, Steve, right right?
Got your kim great?
Speaker 1 (12:49):
I you Alabama?
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Are you okay?
Speaker 1 (12:54):
Is there any possibility of upset in your.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
Any at all? Oh?
Speaker 4 (12:59):
Yeah, always possibility of upset, especially the old House State
Miami game.
Speaker 1 (13:05):
Hey, Miami impressed me. I'm sorry. Everybody knows, Steve, I've
talked bad about the acc.
Speaker 2 (13:11):
Im dat it. Miami went and Hey, they beat the
dogs down out to take a name. I'm sorry, period,
point blank. I can't believe. Three points is almost unbelievable.
I just can't at home. That was a statement, really
was a statement game. Georgia, Ole, Miss Georgia. That's my
(13:35):
national champion still, but I'll have to wait and see
Chargers at the Broncos.
Speaker 4 (13:42):
Give me the Broncos two.
Speaker 2 (13:47):
Okay, I'm gonna put your score down. Just said I
don't have to have it, but I put it down.
Speaker 4 (13:52):
You don't need to score, do you.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
I don't need to score, but I got you down.
Speaker 2 (13:56):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (13:56):
Give me the Broncos.
Speaker 1 (13:57):
Yeah, got the Broncs.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
You've got it.
Speaker 1 (14:00):
Steve, take care of brother.
Speaker 2 (14:01):
Appreciate George.
Speaker 5 (14:04):
You take care of man.
Speaker 2 (14:05):
All right.
Speaker 3 (14:06):
I want a player, come, don't get my sellers, I
will I get it.
Speaker 2 (14:11):
He got George.
Speaker 1 (14:13):
Hey, Steve, thank you for telling George about the one friend.
Speaker 3 (14:17):
Now, Jersey, now there you always go, not knowing what
you're talking about. Now I'm gonna help you out. Martialli
is your assistant coaches. Brother, that's right, Maurice Jason, you
don't know what you're talking about. Used to let me
and Steve people know what they about talk to one
another and you are lone something don't know. You like
(14:39):
this house to me so you.
Speaker 1 (14:41):
Can learn something, George, not Maurice Maids.
Speaker 3 (14:44):
Yes, sir, that's it. That's it, bro. My feller's made yes, sir, Yes, sir,
educated man knows the game.
Speaker 2 (14:52):
Pleasant simmer Man.
Speaker 3 (14:53):
But I thank you. Going to turn them off.
Speaker 2 (14:54):
Now, Hey, I'm glad to turn them off because Mary's
mains and I fight every day, George every day. I
should have known that's your best friend because I fight
his brother every day. It's a great day, Steve.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
Talk about you always bet you can't wrong, that.
Speaker 2 (15:15):
Can't handled the truth. At seven twenty one, that's all.
Everybody can't stand on that wall. Just remember that you
can't stand on that wall anyway. This is Eve Sports Radio. Steve,
appreciate you call. We'll be back with Richard after the break.
At seven twenty one. Of course we got the other guy,
mister Kentucky ring. I don't know. In nineteen ninety six,
I don't know who he is. He calls himself George Williams.
(15:38):
We'll be back after the break. Welcome back to the
sports Radio. I'm so sorry for that. Oh, come to
George cut us off. Sorry about that, Richard, George did it.
That's all I can say. George did it. Hey, George,
how do you feel? Thank you.
Speaker 3 (15:58):
I'm trying to get to truck. I'm trying to get
the sixteen well off. Give me a minute, I'll tell you. Okay,
I'll try to.
Speaker 2 (16:06):
I'll try to put off your charge.
Speaker 3 (16:09):
I appreciate that put it in first year. I think
you can go forward.
Speaker 2 (16:12):
Now, Okay, George did not do it. Just technical difficulties.
I'm telling you. On set is a piece of work.
That's what we used, George. It's called onset. Guys. I
used to think it was me I did until I
was in my office in a landline. My office is
in a vault. I mean honestly, a vault. I could
(16:33):
not do Wi Fi. I have to be plugged in.
I plugged and did the same thing. So I don't know. George,
Gus and I have to talk. So anyway, let's get
to Richard.
Speaker 3 (16:42):
Rich Yeah, I thank you.
Speaker 5 (16:45):
Hey, good morning. How you guys doing.
Speaker 2 (16:50):
I'm doing personal?
Speaker 5 (16:53):
Hey, I'm doing a lot better than guy saw on
the social media that tattooed his arm A Texas A
and M was national champions this year. He got a
little quick. I guess he must have hurt. He must
have heard Greg say that they was the best team
in the country about a month ago.
Speaker 2 (17:09):
Hey, he must be drinking that. I'm not gonna say
that other PEPSI they don't pay me. But he must
be drinking that awful drink. George, doctor Peppler.
Speaker 3 (17:17):
I hear you.
Speaker 5 (17:20):
Think to NFL score or something.
Speaker 2 (17:24):
Yes, I did, Richard. Let me go back, not NFL score, Richard.
Let's see, Richard, I do not. No, I'm good with you.
Oh yes, I need your score Chargers at Denver. I
need it, Chargers.
Speaker 5 (17:36):
I'm gonna take. I'm gonna take that Mergers. I'm gonna
take the Chargers twenty one seventeen.
Speaker 2 (17:43):
And I didn't need I just needed the winner. I
wrote you down, but I only needed That's all. But
I've got Yes, I did not. I had you down.
You took the bills, remember, but we crossed that because
that was changed. Remember. Yes, hey, y, Yes, so I've
got you.
Speaker 3 (17:58):
Guys.
Speaker 5 (17:58):
Have a great week after After this week, there will
be one SEC team left and I won't have to
hear all that anymore. I'm with you, Jerry, though, I
think Georgia, Georgia and I you will play for the
national championships? Would I pick?
Speaker 2 (18:11):
That's that's what I pick. I picked Georgia. Now you're
saying Miami beats who wins? You've got? Oh, I'm glad
I've got you. Do you think Goho State? Do they
do they beat Miami bad? Or will it be competitive? Oh?
Speaker 3 (18:25):
I think they'll.
Speaker 5 (18:26):
I think that. I think they'll they'll put oh, I
mean Miami back where Miami so up and down and
up and and I think I think, actually I think
Ohio State will shut Miami down.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
George, I mean Texas.
Speaker 5 (18:41):
Texas A and m was so in my opinion, overrated
because they played the weak side of the SEC state,
which which made it look like they were so much
better than they was. The team that I actually am
a little concerned about is Texas Tech. I think Texas
played a pretty tough schedule, and I do like Oregon,
but I think that's gonna be a really really good
(19:02):
football game.
Speaker 2 (19:04):
Yes, Gorgon, George, Oil State, Miami. Who are you taking? George?
Speaker 3 (19:10):
Yeah, I'm gonna take Ohio State because for their defense,
I know this year their offense hasn't been what they
have been in the past, but Ohio States only averaging
twenty points per team all year long. Jereed, you know
that that's that's great defense. When you're playing all the
teams that they played this year and all they gave
up was twenty points a game. I think their defense
is very, very solid. If they have a good offensive
(19:32):
many I mean outing, I think they can do a lot,
make a lot of noise. And you got realize that
they're getting a couple of weeks to revitalize the players
that were injured, and so I think Ohio State will
will win this just because of the experience of what
they've been there a little bit more than the Miami.
I think the experience might be a little overwhelming for
Miami when they get there. But I do think Ohios
they will walk away with the viction.
Speaker 2 (19:53):
Yeah, you know what I mean, Richard, You're correct. Texas
and m did play the lights out of the schedule.
They did. That's in fact, when Texas beat them, I
was like, interesting, But they still look good all year.
They looked really good. They ranked third in the country
all year. They were even score the ball mobile quarterback.
I just couldn't believe the three My issue was three points.
(20:16):
Not losing to Miami, but only scoring three points at home. Surprise.
That's what surprised me.
Speaker 3 (20:23):
That's all.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
Yeah, they so.
Speaker 5 (20:24):
I mean you remember when they played there. They played
at home against South Carolina and at halftime, South Carolina
was up thirty to three.
Speaker 2 (20:33):
Yes, yes, that's true.
Speaker 5 (20:39):
They wouldn't go to College Station and beat them. I thought, man,
college Station isn't isn't as scary as it sounds, but anyway,
it was, and you're in a great It's been a
great season for an Indiana Hoosier. I hope they continue
to move move ahead. And I do want to give
a shout out to my buddy Greg. I do hope
just for hen, just for hand. I hope Illinois doesn't
(21:02):
show up against Tennessee. And is it the is it
the Chiquita Banana Bowl or I.
Speaker 2 (21:07):
Don't know what it is.
Speaker 6 (21:13):
That's so appropriate. I love it. You know, you didn't
know what his team they did him have his joy
for a moment.
Speaker 5 (21:28):
People somebody said when they retired, somebody said, when they
retired Smokey h in the Tennessee their next dog is
good to be named next year.
Speaker 2 (21:42):
Well, you friend, that's all I know he is my
brother man.
Speaker 5 (21:46):
I love him. He knows I do.
Speaker 2 (21:49):
I see every tell George, George, I'm trying to tell
you boy, the people. Yes, I'm telling you what. He
is a ball though he is a tennis ball. He
gave me grief. He whipped They whipped up on my
Cardinals beat me good, beat me sixteen eighteen. He called
it out. They were physical. They had to have the
(22:10):
game won. The game didn't surprise me. Coach Barnes is
an excellent coach, but I mean that football program in
his they let him down every time. That's allege. They
let him down. So let's keep moving, George. Seven thirty four.
Before we get to our last break, We're going to
this NFL George, So which game do you want to
(22:32):
talk about first? From this weekend? It's been crazy. I
mean the games have been crazy. You tell me which
one we're gonna go to after the break.
Speaker 3 (22:42):
I love that Bills game yesterday, Jah.
Speaker 2 (22:44):
Whoa, oh my gosh, George, Eagles Bills. Let's just leave
it right there. It seven thirty is the sports radio. No,
George did not do it. Sometimes I have technical difficulties.
I just threw George under the bus. That's what I do.
I'm sorry, somebody has to take it.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
We will be back, That's what I want to say.
It shows love all.
Speaker 2 (23:08):
The time, all the time, Georgia and I will be
back after the break. Welcome back to these sports radio
guys and girls. It's seven thirty eight times flying By.
We've got the one and only George Williams. Of course,
I'm the brand. We've got Rick behind the glass, and
we're just continuing with the show. Get your scores in.
(23:31):
You have three days while State to Miami, Texas Tech
Oregon is the score? Indiana, Alabama, Georgia, Ole, Miss the
Chargers at the Broncos are the games you've got three
days now, George, let's just start what you get. Put
it this way, it's thirteen to twelve thriller. I mean,
(23:54):
how many often do you hear someone say thirteen to
twelve four thriller? And it was scores all its points
in the first half, the Bill score all its points
in the fourth quarter, and George, it was a crazy game.
So tell me what did you think? How did you
feel about it? Bill's I mean the last play I
(24:14):
thought Josh should scored and he didn't.
Speaker 3 (24:20):
What Jared, what I thought was and it's a good
example when people get to see great championship teams. You know,
that's what you saw yesterday, Dad. Both teams were able.
The defense was able to stop what the offense wanted
to do. They held them in check. And you know,
and then you look at the offensive, Jerry. They never
waited for what they wanted to do. They knew what
they wanted to do, and then they got down to
where they were able to execute. And the team that
(24:42):
executed the best was the one that won. And that's
what you see when you watch two great teams. J
They never gave up to the last play. And when
we say this all the time, fact people laughing at that,
the game is not over to the last play of
the game. And yesterday you got to see that really
well because Philip, Jeff, I mean, New England had a
chance from at the end, Jay, I mean, and they
played and you know, like you said, you haven't scored
(25:04):
a point to the fourth quarter, and you scored two
in the fourth quarter to give you a chance to
win the game. Jed. It was a thriller and it
shows you what being a pro is and what championship
teams do they do not quit to the game is over.
Speaker 2 (25:17):
Jeerge's first thing, you get your extra point block the
Bills do, which was crazy, or they don't have to
go for two. I mean, George, it was one of
the wildest games. I don't know if I'd have gone.
Speaker 3 (25:30):
For to the challenge it was that.
Speaker 2 (25:33):
I really think you allowed Philadelphia no points in the
third and fourth quarter, a total, George of like twenty
nine yards the whole second half. I think I tied
the game up, or tried to, even though yes they
did have an extra extra point blocked. I try to
tie it up, George, and beat them in overtime. I
think I'm playing better, but I mean, I could be wrong.
(25:58):
I mean, yes, they were playing the Super Bowl chair,
and you gotta knock the Super Bowl champ out. I
understand that, but gosh, George.
Speaker 3 (26:05):
Jersey, I agree with you wholehearted, and especially when you're
playing at home. I'm gonna play for the overtime. If
I'm on the road, I'll play for the win. But
if I'm at home, Jared, I'm gonna go because I
got five momentum. We got momentum, and it's our play,
so we can say here all night. We don't have
nothing to do but Philadelphia. I mean, but look at them, Jeded.
They never broke, they never flinched. But the thing is
(26:27):
thought was amazing. It's how long the defense made. New
England wants that ball down the field. I mean, they
keep it a possession. Jared may not be at the fifty,
you know what I'm saying. I mean, it was some
tremendous defense. It was some tremendous defense playing there. And
you saw the heart of champions, not just champion champions
(26:47):
on both sides of that bottle being the worry about
the win the championship is you're Jered.
Speaker 2 (26:54):
We George, we talk about bad You keep saying the Patriots.
You mean the Bills, the Bills. It was the Bill.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
I'm George.
Speaker 2 (27:02):
That's okay, George. Here's the deal. We think our fans,
your Kentucky fans, my Louisville fans are tough. Philadelphia has
just won a Super Bowl. They're eleven and five, they
won their division, and they want to.
Speaker 3 (27:16):
Cut the whole team.
Speaker 2 (27:17):
George. I mean, I've never seen anything like it, and
they want to cut the entire team. George. Absolutely everyone
super Bowl champs have a chance to do it again.
Oh god, I mean George's I've never seen thing like it.
It's just a different atmosphere in Philadelphia. Those people are different.
(27:37):
But George now now, and I mean he's just he's
like a Sherman tank. Josh Allen's unbelievable. But he's nicked up.
That's that NFL is not for long. He tweaks his ankle.
George on a freak play. Not a hit, but just
a freak play. George. Everyone's banged up now, everyone's nicknap
(28:01):
banged up. But I do agree with you, George. Were
thirteen to twelve. That was a thriller. I'm just telling you.
That was a game where when the game was over,
I was fatigued. I'm like, oh god. Then watching the
Bears last night, George, I'll watched it every minute of
the Bears game last night. I'm like, they're trying to
kill me, George. The NFL does it right. That's all
(28:24):
there is to it. They've done it right. So here's
the deal, George.
Speaker 3 (28:29):
That'sir my ravens.
Speaker 2 (28:33):
Okay, I gotta take the whole ger y'all want me
to let me separate? Everyone knows I'm a Lamar fans,
but dang it, I want to see something, and honestly, Georgia,
I want to see something in the playoffs. It is time, period,
point blank. It is time. They've got a playoff game
this week, this game with the come on my Pittsburgh
(28:53):
Steelers and Aaron Rodgers is a playoff game. Is a
playoff game. We'll get to him right up to the break.
It's a playoff game. Got me that boy. First thing,
George about a play period punt play. And I'm gonna
tell you that if if Todd Moulki I was reading
this morning, he gets it right, how long many years
(29:17):
it's gonna take him to know? You got Derrick Henry
in the backfield? Now, George, after last week, and I
want everybody to understand this. Lamar Jackson isn't playing last
week against the Patriots. The end of the third quarter,
the dang man Derrick Henry runs over them, He runs
over the Patriots, You got me and doesn't play another play. Now, George,
(29:38):
this is pro This means thing. People are trying to
get bonuses. This is real. That's why it's like, I
know they're not gambling, but it's too stupid to be
real and not play one more snap the following week.
Got me know, Lamar Jackson, they give between thirty times.
I'm telling you right now, Lamar plays next Sunday night,
(30:01):
He'll he'll run it twelve times and I'll be like,
what the hell would excuse my language, I'll be like,
what is the problem? I don't get it. George, do
you do you understand it at all? The dynamics of
the Ravens.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Only thing I could possibly think of, Jared, he got
hurt and they didn't want to announce it, you know,
doing the game. I can I think of another reason
why you would do that. And you know the cable
buildings of this man and how he destroyed UH defensive
backs when he runs involved. I don't understand, Joe. I
can only think that he got hurt and they just
didn't want to announce it and didn't want to put
him back in the game and get him her father.
(30:34):
Other than that, Jared, I agree totally with what you
just said.
Speaker 2 (30:37):
Yeah, it just guys, this just doesn't make Three years
ago we were like run the Beast. It's like they
forget I mean, they take him out of the game,
they forget him. They won't even let him be a decoy.
I George been doing this.
Speaker 3 (30:51):
Look at Seattle when they had to.
Speaker 2 (30:57):
Run it back up. Yep, got Brady his six championship.
You're right, six or seventh on the slant pass. You're right,
George Derrick Henry two hundred and sixteen yards, four touchdowns,
George thirty six carries. Uh duh, George. Next Sunday, we're
(31:17):
all gonna set up and go, oh well, I don't
know what happened. We're all gonna be just like, oh well,
who knows who's watching the game. I don't know. That's
all I know. I don't understand. So we're gonna get
the break and we're gonna bring Ron on. Hit it quick,
seven forty six. That we got our next call. Hit
a quick, Yuys, it's a seven fifty. December twenty ninth,
(31:42):
twenty twenty five. For the years coming to an end,
everybody will have their New Year's resolutions. George, Sorry about
cutting you off like that. Let's bring Ryan to the show. Ryan,
how are you? What's going on? Hey?
Speaker 7 (31:53):
Guys, how y'all doing this morning?
Speaker 3 (31:55):
Always a pleasure ryme when you're on the show. Baby,
you know what I mean. I'll have to talk with Jerry.
Speaker 7 (32:01):
Thank you, George. Hey, Jerry, I got a couple of
comments and an asta grind with you. First of all, Buffalo,
if you kick, if you kick two extra points, the
game's over. It's it's it's not rocket science, it's real simple.
(32:21):
And then if if you if you're playing at home,
and you kick the extra point, you tie the game up,
and you've got all the momentum, they've got twenty nine
yards off the entire second half, and you basically have
controlled the second half. You don't go for two there
in that situation.
Speaker 2 (32:41):
I don't get it anymore, though. It's like I'm always wrong.
I've only done this all my life.
Speaker 7 (32:46):
Right, oh, because you ever read that book Analytics?
Speaker 3 (32:51):
Have you?
Speaker 4 (32:56):
I have not.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
I just I don't get it. I just don't get it.
I just don't get it. Guys.
Speaker 7 (33:03):
I don't hey quickly quickly because I want to move
on to something else. But I know you touched it
last week. But I can't let this go by now
without saying anything. I'll fall You know, I've heard about
Saint X and Ballard and Butler and all these great
basketball teams locally, and you know, mental assup point guard.
(33:26):
They're down a little bit. Well, I don't know who's down,
but I know who won King of the Bluegrass? Don't
you who?
Speaker 3 (33:34):
Who want?
Speaker 7 (33:35):
Run that teamway?
Speaker 2 (33:41):
We didn't get it at George now, y'all r Hey
Georgia Rye. They were racist. They wouldn't let my bruins
in that.
Speaker 7 (33:52):
What it was?
Speaker 2 (33:56):
So no coach Harthor and he does that great job
at meal and they're playing well throughout the country. Now
they're winning games. I have to give them credit. No
one expected. Let's be honest. Jason carried away.
Speaker 7 (34:10):
Like some of our callers. It's it's still December basketball. Okay,
they're playing well.
Speaker 3 (34:18):
Did play well?
Speaker 7 (34:19):
I will bounce back, say that's got a head complete.
Speaker 2 (34:24):
That's a great win. That was a great win. Though,
that was a great win beating so it really was, man,
I mean being honest with you. That's surprised me. I
thought Sam David would beat him good. I really did, so.
Speaker 3 (34:35):
No, you have to get game. In fact, they beat
him handed. I thought i'd be a good game.
Speaker 2 (34:39):
I thought they beat them George. They're strong, and now
what's strong?
Speaker 7 (34:45):
One last thing, because I pointed this out early, I
started pointing this out last summer, and I don't say
it again. Are you tired of waiting on another basketball game?
For college teams?
Speaker 3 (35:02):
I mean, I mean we went, hey, we went all
it's how long? Does it seem like it's been sent?
One of them played?
Speaker 2 (35:09):
Oh forever? I mean honestly, I.
Speaker 7 (35:12):
Mean, yeah, y'all played Montana High School or somebody there
for the twentieth and Kentucky ted it out there and
went through an exhibition against Bellaman sometime. But did you
notice did you notice Saturday was wide open? Did you
notice this one.
Speaker 3 (35:30):
Weekend was wild?
Speaker 4 (35:33):
Yeah?
Speaker 7 (35:33):
And you know you know why?
Speaker 3 (35:35):
You know, why don't you, Jared?
Speaker 7 (35:36):
Because that's the Saturday I was slated for the U
K U of L game.
Speaker 3 (35:40):
I don't know why.
Speaker 2 (35:42):
I don't have any idea why.
Speaker 3 (35:43):
Oh yeah you do.
Speaker 2 (35:44):
Oh yeah, you know I'm not.
Speaker 3 (35:47):
Going You can that you can know, well okay, okay,
well you you you can.
Speaker 7 (35:54):
You can stay with that if you want, okay, But
everybody's not going to be dumb, all right, y'all.
Speaker 2 (36:00):
George's insane. George Louisville was ducking. That's what he's saying.
That's what.
Speaker 7 (36:08):
Here's what I here's what else I'll say about all
that and be done. I'll bet you next year, I
bet you has PA played between right red Christmas, including
Christmas and New Year's. And i'll bet you the year
after next if it ain't played, then you'll be finding
another point from what I'm hearing.
Speaker 2 (36:25):
But here's what I'm gonna say.
Speaker 7 (36:27):
We I don't play y'all on Halloween. We're gonna play
basketball and Halloween no more.
Speaker 3 (36:33):
I didn't like.
Speaker 2 (36:33):
Nobody liked the date. I don't I know you did,
I know I did. I truly did ask Matt Matt
and he said the same thing. And no one knows
why the week was wide open this week, like you said,
wide open, I don't understand it. But on Quentin's has
(36:54):
only played twenty four minutes in two games Rund, He's
only played twenty seven against against He could have played
twenty four more Saturday. Now it's okay, George, stay right there,
though right especially stay there, George. Would you have played
him against Bellaman at all? They helped load Low did
not play. I like that decision. Would you have played
(37:15):
Acquaintance against Bellaman?
Speaker 3 (37:17):
No doubt, Jake, because we got to get him in shape.
I mean, George, are you taking a chance on him
getting injured? But I gotta take a chance on him
get into plan and game situation I think is a
lot different than that.
Speaker 7 (37:31):
Well, hey, Jerry, the doctors had cleared him December first.
Speaker 3 (37:36):
How long you go to wait? Dude?
Speaker 2 (37:38):
I know, listen to this. I can't take this. My
phone blows up. Truth, Big Capitals got Big Prince's Princy's preaching, Ryn,
Mike Brown. I don't need to hear your commentary on
the backside. I don't need sidebars. I got run on
the radio.
Speaker 3 (37:55):
I just leave it this way.
Speaker 7 (37:57):
Jerse, y'all, conductor, smoke at how lloween become march. You
can't run high dog.
Speaker 2 (38:03):
We're gonna be ready to We're ready, audience.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
What are you saying?
Speaker 7 (38:08):
I'm saying if we can lift this, this crippled UK
team into the tournament.
Speaker 3 (38:13):
I pray for a rematch.
Speaker 2 (38:16):
I do too, sweet Creek, I want, I wish.
Speaker 7 (38:20):
I'd get to streep. Well, George, you didn't play the
play the basketball game Halloween, three weeks before the football game.
Whoever heard of such nonsense on a Tuesday night?
Speaker 3 (38:31):
Well, we had the moviest scheduling problems. What yeah, problems?
Speaker 2 (38:37):
What about that? What about Hey? Ryan? Can I share
that room with you? Because we both know we do
honeydew lists. That's all we did. This whole Christmas thing is.
Speaker 7 (38:44):
Want you to share it with me.
Speaker 5 (38:46):
Jerry, you can play Rocky Top on the air.
Speaker 2 (38:49):
Hey, oh good, I'll give you a good old Rocky Time.
Good night guy, Rocky Time Tennessee. But Greg, don't get
it twisted. Greg. We want you all again to Ron George, everybody,
have a fantastic day. We'll talk to you tomorrow. God
willing love you. Bye bye.
