of the state.

Speaker 3 (01:17):
Yep, We've been all over the state and.

Speaker 4 (01:19):
You get to see these hidden gems, these beautiful parts
of our beautiful state. And down here on Dell Hollow Lake,
here at Mike's landing, it is breathtaking. It is beautiful
down here.

Speaker 2 (01:30):
It absolutely is one of our favorite places, one of
my favorite places. I'll speak for myself to come down here.
It's a good little drive from Level two and a
half hour drive, but once you get down here, it
is absolutely worth it.

Speaker 3 (01:40):
I love this place.

Speaker 5 (01:40):
Now, you guys missed out. I mean I was treated
like a king last night. I got the whole cabin
to myself. I didn't get locked in the bathroom. I
had a great time.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
Second year in a row. You've come down here, spent
the night. But last night, no locked in the bathroom,
no casualties, nothing bad happened.

Speaker 3 (01:55):
To you, no, no issues.

Speaker 5 (01:57):
I didn't have much cell phone service, so just kind
of connected with a little bit Ryan, which is what
people can do.

Speaker 3 (02:02):
What do you mean you're connected with? Did you go
outside and catch lightning?

Speaker 5 (02:04):
I literally sat on the back deck and just kind
of looked at the trees, just kind of enjoyed the silence.

Speaker 3 (02:10):
It's a nice vacation spot out here. You dabbled in
the corn bread hip last night? Maybe he did?

Speaker 2 (02:14):
Uh did your backyard, by the way, recover from yesterday's
show with all the strangers just wandering into the backyard.

Speaker 4 (02:20):
I got admit it was a little little little crazy
for some strangers just walking into my backyard. But we
didn't say no if the people wanted to come and
check out the pool. But I ain't really enjoyed yesterday.
I'm glad you guys came out there. I enjoyed having
the show, but pool side, my dogs I thought behaved
themselves pretty much for the most part, So yeah, I appreciate.
So today then we load up and come down here
to Mike's Landing Sulfur Creek Resort on dal Hall Lake.

(02:42):
We were here at this time last year, if you
guys remember, had a great crowd. This is by the way,
thank you for coming out a great crowd again today.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
I gave you a hand.

Speaker 4 (02:52):
And the folks who were so happy with what went
last year. Before our show was over last year, they
got Shannon Hall, our sales rep booked another show for today.
They booked it at this time last year. They were
so happy with the way every turned out. So we're
backing in for a second year in a row.

Speaker 3 (03:05):
Gloat to be back here.

Speaker 2 (03:06):
Do we think maybe we can get you to captain
one of these boats out here?

Speaker 4 (03:10):
I would love to rent one of these pontoon boats
and putter around the lake. That's one of my favorite
things in life to do that. I love to do that.

Speaker 2 (03:16):
Will you be jumping in the lake later? I know
that you have a history of jumping in the lakes
when we do lake shows.

Speaker 4 (03:20):
Well, we're doing a KSR Newlywed game between you two guys,
and I think the losers should probably do a cannon
ball off the boat deck here.

Speaker 2 (03:27):
That's not happening. That's not happening. Well, just win the
contest then, okay, Well then I don't think Billy wants
to do that either. He's got a two and a
half hour drive.

Speaker 5 (03:34):
It is a bit of a drive back. But we
know what happened when Shanon and I played List of Cuffs.
We know who ended up winning that. By the way,
let's go back. Yeah, you did win List of Covs.
But can I explain why I lost? Because it's because
we go.

Speaker 2 (03:48):
I didn't really lose to billion listokovs. Ryan lost to
billion listokoffs because you get a phone of friend. Yes,
Ryan was my phone a friend on a question? Yes,
and you got the question wrong which made us lose
the billy I think.

Speaker 4 (04:02):
I think the question was the last seven former UK
players to win an NBA championship.

Speaker 3 (04:07):
Maybe it was six. That was the question. Memory, Well,
I can remember.

Speaker 4 (04:10):
Because I said Tayshawn Prince, Well he was number seven.
He wanted the six after Tayshawn Prince. Actually, that was
one of the trivia questions last night at Ks Barn Grill.

Speaker 2 (04:20):
I knew he would use that double dipping. I've got
to guess. The other one was which NBA team drafted
Mark Pope.

Speaker 4 (04:25):
Okay, well, let's just ask a couple of these questions.
We had UK trivia last night at Chaos Bar and Grill.
Great turnout. We appreciate everybody came out and play with us.
And if you listened to the show on Tuesday, we
kind of had a hint of what one of the
questions We're going to be Indianacers. By the way, Well,
here's the whole question. Mark Pope spent six seasons in
the NBA. What three teams did he play for? Oh Man, Well,

(04:46):
Okay Pacers or Nice.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
I'm trying to I'm trying to picture Pope in like
other teams jerseys, and I'm kind of drawing a blank
right now.

Speaker 3 (04:57):
Anybody else knows?

Speaker 2 (04:58):
Did he played for the Hornets, Milwaukeets, No, not the Hornets?

Speaker 3 (05:05):
Who the Nuggets? Was the third win? Yeah, that was
one of the questions.

Speaker 4 (05:10):
So then the kind of piggyback what we just said,
named the seven former Kentucky basketball players who have won
an NBA championship after Tayshawn Prince.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
Well, clearly you don't know the answer. Well that's why
I wrote the question.

Speaker 4 (05:23):
Now, I thought Tayshawan was won of the but there's
been seven win a title after Tayshawn won it in
two thousand and two. Anthony Anthony Davis has won Rondo.
Rondo's Toronto actually won two titles. Yeah, he just counts
as one player. You need five more.

Speaker 2 (05:37):
Uh, let's see. Man, see we're terrible at this game.
Like on the radio too, it's like there's you can't
have any dead air. Yeah, he's got to see. When
you do the trivia though, you get to actually sit
down and think about it for it's true. We give
you like fifteen minutes up with another one.

Speaker 3 (05:51):
Did Booker ever win with the Suns?

Speaker 2 (05:52):
No, no, no title, No Nazi Muhammad, Nazzy Muhammad.

Speaker 3 (05:57):
Okay? And then the.

Speaker 4 (05:58):
Heat when they won, they had Antoine Walker and Derrek Anderson.
Oh okay, all those guys, said Rondo, Jody Meeks, the Raptors,
you said, Anthony Davis, and then last year Jamal Murray.

Speaker 3 (06:12):
Oh that's right for Nuggets. How did I win that category?
Of Shannon?

Speaker 2 (06:15):
I mean, I have no you won by default because
he Oh that's right, because Ryan lost in it the
name any of them?

Speaker 4 (06:21):
Well, speaking of the NBA, that's got our first topic.
We're going to start with. Another mock draft came out
for the NBA. There was maybe a couple of little
surprises on it. You know, all these NBA experts now
doing all these mock drafts now and they had read
Shepherd maybe not a surprise going third to the Rockets.

Speaker 3 (06:39):
I don't think anybody surprised with that one, though, are
their Billy?

Speaker 5 (06:41):
I think he's an expected top five pick at this point.
No way he gets past four with the San Antonio Spurs.
Would love to see him team up with Wemby. But
I mean, we've heard number one, we've heard three, we've
heard four, so I think he's locked in for a top.

Speaker 2 (06:53):
We've heard NBA experts also calling, as we're talking about
on the pre show a couple of days ago, read
Shepherd the best three point shooter he's seen in the
last twenty years, which is quite a comment, right it is.

Speaker 3 (07:04):
That's quite a statement. I had a guy named Steph
Curry had an argument. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (07:09):
I mean, as we're really saying that he's a better
three point shooter than Steph Curry.

Speaker 4 (07:13):
We got a couple of guys. Yeah, but I think
everybody is assumed, reed, Shepherd is gonna.

Speaker 3 (07:16):
Go top three or four. Good for him. Yeah, Now
here's one of the surprises.

Speaker 4 (07:19):
This mock draft had Rob Dillingham slipping all the way
to number thirteen to the Sacramento Kings.

Speaker 2 (07:24):
It's been dealing with that ankle injury all summer. I
have to think that it had something to do with it.
And also I think that NBA owners are a little
bit concerned about his size. I think that's gonna maybe
not play into his favor. So I'd still be surprised
if he goes all the way down to thirteen.

Speaker 3 (07:39):
But you know, he's not a do the era. I
don't think he's still growing.

Speaker 5 (07:42):
But at the same time, you get into an NBA franchise,
they bulky up a little bit, right, You'd still have
to gain some pounds, So I'd be hard pressed to
see him almost full out of the lottery.

Speaker 3 (07:52):
It would be surprised.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
Kind of a weak draft too, right, So I mean
a guy like that, I feel like he could help
out immediately.

Speaker 3 (07:59):
Right. He's not a guy that's gonna sit on the bench.

Speaker 5 (08:01):
I mean he's cold blooded, right, I mean he'd come
in here. He was like a microwave.

Speaker 2 (08:05):
He may have set on the bench for Kentucky, but
he'll play for the Spurs.

Speaker 3 (08:07):
If he gets drafted a.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
Bore he slides to thirteen to the Kings, that's a
steal for the guys. Absolutely, Yeah, so we moved to
the second round a couple. Get your comments on this.
After not being in any of the mock drafts for
most of the summer, Antonio Reeves pops up in this
one at number fifty three, second round pick, going number
fifty three overall.

Speaker 2 (08:25):
I don't see how he doesn't get picked up by somebody.
Even if he didn't get drafted, he would play his
way into the league, whether it be having to go
to the G League or go play overseas for a
year or two. He's going to find his way on
a roster in the NBA if he doesn't get drafted.

Speaker 3 (08:39):
So he's gonna be there one way or another. And
I just had to look it up to confirm he's
only twenty three, So, I mean, but why do people
say he's an old man? Right?

Speaker 5 (08:47):
Why is it they're acting like he's coming in on
a walker. I mean, the guy had what one of
the best shooting seasons all time at the University of Kentucky.
He's an experienced guy, more of a vet at the
college game, so you know that that kind of had.

Speaker 3 (09:00):
That's a head scratcher for me a little bit. It's
a shooters League.

Speaker 4 (09:02):
He's a shooter, so even if they send him to
the G League, he'll light it up down there and
get a call up and then probably stay for a
couple of years and then finally the other cat expected
to be drafted. According to this mock draft, Justin Edwards
at number fifty six, so just a couple picks behind Antonio.

Speaker 2 (09:16):
Riaz really slid down right because it wasn't he projected
not that long ago to be in the first round.

Speaker 3 (09:21):
Right now, first early side, now all the.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Way down to fifty three, which you know, if we're
being real about it, based on what we saw at
Kentucky last year, I think that fifty three is more
likely than you.

Speaker 3 (09:30):
Know, twenty six or twenty seven.

Speaker 4 (09:32):
I think, you know, you get to that late second round,
it's so much unpotential. They see Billy what he did
in that maybe the Alabama game when he was what
ten for eleven from the field and had that awesome game,
that one game, that's the potential maybe they're drafting anymore.

Speaker 5 (09:45):
Yeah, he had his moment, and I don't think anybody
was happier than us, because I think we were very
critical of Justin Edwards at times this year. But you
know what, that's a guy that's I think it's clutch sports, right,
And at that point you have an agent that is
actively talking to teams trying to guarantee a draft pick,
and they push you to the NBA. So I think
that has a lot to do with him not returning
to college, not returning to a Kentucky because the people

(10:06):
of around.

Speaker 2 (10:07):
It, and I guess I hesitate to say credit to
cal Right now, right, we can't give any credit to
cal Right, not now that he's an Arkansas razorback. But
you know, he was saying that he is going to
have a breakout game and he finally had.

Speaker 3 (10:19):
He believed in that kid. He did, and he stuck
with them. But he was supposed to be the number one.

Speaker 5 (10:23):
Overall point he was the number one of that recruiting
class and that didn't translate.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
But it was good to see some success by the
kid later.

Speaker 2 (10:31):
As much as reed Shepperd is overachieved from where he
was at the very beginning, oh yeah, I feel like
Justin Edwards is sort of the other way underachieved.

Speaker 4 (10:39):
You know, there were some of these summer shows last
year where we all thought Justin Edwards may end up
being the leading scorer by the end of the season
last year, and it just didn't happen for him except
for the one game, the Alabama game.

Speaker 3 (10:49):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (10:49):
And you know we've seen how many guys go to
the NBA that wasn't that great at Kentucky, but just
find superstardom. I mean, look at Shay Gildes, Alexander bj
Boston to a degree. I mean, it didn't really work
out of Kentucky, but he's doing some great things.

Speaker 2 (11:02):
Right Because a guy rolling up on a sea do
or is that a I can't tell sead?

Speaker 3 (11:06):
A jet ski? What do you call those? That's the
life I was telling Billy.

Speaker 2 (11:10):
I had a jet ski one once upon a time,
but then it broke down and I just couldn't fix it.

Speaker 3 (11:13):
So it's now in a junk yard.

Speaker 5 (11:15):
You still do still own, it's just still with his
car he just left.

Speaker 2 (11:19):
It's like taking into the ground like Matt's car that
was in the Jack Carlow video.

Speaker 3 (11:24):
Yeah, well, come on out and see this.

Speaker 4 (11:26):
We're gonna be here obviously until noon doing KSR where
Mike's landing. If you're over here in the Burksville area,
did you see the big hotel up on the hill
of both Birksville when you came.

Speaker 3 (11:34):
Yeah, oh yeah, that's the one thing.

Speaker 4 (11:36):
What do you remember about Campbell County when we did
our county countdown and Burksville. I remember just a couple
of things. One I remember, if I'm not mistaken, in
the guy that invented Maxwell hawf Maxwell House Coffee from here?
He is, really, he's from Burksville, from Campbell, I said,
Campbell County called Cumberland County. I'm sorry, said Cumberling County.
He's from here, right, and they're not in their head?

Speaker 3 (11:58):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (11:59):
And I also remember there are only a couple counties
in the state that aren't named after a person, and
Cumberland County is named after the Cumberland River. I think
rock Castle County is one of them. What's another one?
Union County?

Speaker 3 (12:09):
I think mynt Dame Bullet County is named after a guy.

Speaker 4 (12:12):
Maybe named after a bourbon But what else do we
know other than that big hotel out here on the hill.

Speaker 3 (12:19):
What is it?

Speaker 4 (12:20):
Alpine Motel? Is that the name of it? It sits
up on the hill out there, So we're here at
Mix's Landing. It's a Soper Creek resort, beautiful dal Halla Lake.
We've got a lot of special things coming up later today.
At ten thirty, we're gonna talk to Ryan Nicholson the
UK First Basement. He's gonna call in. We're gonna talk
to him about the great season they just got back
from the College Baseball World Series. At eleven o'clock, we're
gonna play our KSR version of the Newlywed Game.

Speaker 3 (12:42):
Billy, I can't tell how excited I am for this.
I'm ready to go. Ryan.

Speaker 4 (12:45):
We'll see who the winner is. Loser has to do
a cannon ball, not doing it in the in dal
Hall Lake. We'll be right back Ryan, Billy, Shannon Super
Marios here as well. Give us a call. Eight five
nine two, aight oh two to eight seven. This is
Kentucky's Sports Radio. Hi, Welcome back Kentucky Sports Radio Live
at Mike's Landing at Soulfur Creek Resort down here on
dal Hollow Lake.

Speaker 3 (13:04):
Of course, Sufa Creek Resort, operated.

Speaker 4 (13:05):
By the Humphrey family since nineteen seventy eight, become a
musty destination. We're down here at deal Hallow Lake. They
and Mike's Landing here has a full menu. They also
have live music. Maybe Alice Blue Gown could come down
and jam it out down here for everybody.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
We talked about doing that last year. We didn't make
it happen. I know there was live music here last night.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Oh was there over here last night? I did?

Speaker 5 (13:24):
Yeah, it was actually one of the owners, Brian was
the bass player, no kidding. Yeah, So in between helping
me get connected, he was out here rocking and singing.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Very cool.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
Absolutely got some KSR Royalty here of course, Bob and
Jamestown's here.

Speaker 3 (13:35):
He is across the lake over there.

Speaker 4 (13:37):
And look there's Grandma Sarah Pride to Clinton County, eighty
five years young right there.

Speaker 3 (13:43):
That's right, total age. She's proud of it.

Speaker 4 (13:46):
I hope I'm like that at eighty five, don't you.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Yeah? I just hope I make eighty five.

Speaker 4 (13:51):
Eight five nine two eight h two two eight seven.
That's the Clark's Pupping Shop phone numbers. Let's got up
our first caller. Who we got, Matt Mike, go ahead, Mike.

Speaker 3 (13:59):
Was the guy. What's up? Mike?

Speaker 6 (14:02):
Oh, well, y'all.

Speaker 3 (14:06):
What do you say? I don't know. He cut out
on it, cut out of us a little bit. Mike
tried again.

Speaker 7 (14:11):
I said y'all.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
We're gonna do Trig County probably next week. So do
you are you from Trigg County or do you know
some Trig County info?

Speaker 6 (14:20):
Oh?

Speaker 3 (14:21):
Yeah, what do you want to know?

Speaker 4 (14:22):
Well call us on Tuesday, No, Wednesday, Tuesday or Wednesday Wednesday,
y'all do it Wednesday. Yeah, we got myrone Metcalf on Monday,
Tom Hart on Tuesday. That's right, and we'll do Trigg
County on Wednesday. And the bracket reveal has changed a
little bit.

Speaker 5 (14:35):
We're not gonna be at Reperena on Wednesday, but we
might will have some tickets to give away if you'd
like to go see the TV T team.

Speaker 3 (14:40):
Oh that's cool. So is that all you got for us?

Speaker 8 (14:46):
I don't think that what you're talking about today.

Speaker 4 (14:48):
Well, thanks for the call, appreciate the phone call. And
you just want to talk about Tree County, about Tri County.
It's funny how people when we start this, they start
getting on board. Whether they can't wait for their county
to get here. So I was Mario came down with this.
We just drove through Wayne County to get here, and
I said, see, now you can talk about Wayne County.

Speaker 3 (15:06):
We just drove through Wayne County.

Speaker 2 (15:07):
This guy from Trigg County couldn't wait a day. Spencer
County had to wait four years.

Speaker 3 (15:10):
It's true.

Speaker 4 (15:12):
Eight five nine two eight h two two eighty seven.
We have another call, mat Okay phone line, Drove. You
want to call and get on board. We're kind of
staying with our NBA theme though. Want of you guys
talked about it on the pre show. We need to
talk about it here on KSR JJ Reddick signs a
deal to become the Lakers head coach.

Speaker 3 (15:27):
That's right.

Speaker 4 (15:28):
Maybe not the big breaking news for us, but the
breaking news for us in this land was the fact
that he may bring on Raijon Rondo as an assistant
coach on his staff.

Speaker 3 (15:37):
With the Lakers. What's your thoughts about that. I'd love that.

Speaker 5 (15:39):
I'd love to see Rondo in a coaching position. I
know he does a lot with the AAU team that
he has and that's been holding him back from doing
something like that. But Rondo, from what I've heard, is
one of the brightest minds that can connect with kids
and can and be really good at coaching, So I'd
love that for him. I don't know how long JJ
Reddick's gonna last it's been a turnstyle for Lakers and
head coaches. Are they gonna draft Lebron James's kid? Who

(15:59):
knows if he'll be there next year, but I think
JJ's a rising talent in Rondo could go a long
way of giving him some experience.

Speaker 2 (16:05):
If I'm Rondo, I take that job and go, hey,
look at the Lakers history how they turned over coaches.
If there are a couple of years Rondo maybe setting
himself up for a head coaching position.

Speaker 3 (16:14):
At the Lakers. Maybe so yeah, I mean, he was
kind of a coach on the floor when he played there.

Speaker 4 (16:18):
You know, we know there were you know a lot
of reports that he could possibly join John cali Perry's
staff here at Kentucky even next season if cal Perry
had stayed. After cali Perry left, there were some rumblings
that maybe Rondo would join Mark Pope staff at Kentucky.
Obviously neither one of that happened, but he obviously has
an interest. He wants to get into coaching, or he
wouldn't be.

Speaker 3 (16:36):
Pursuing it like this. Absolutely.

Speaker 5 (16:38):
Now do we think our guy Tyler Eulis will eventually
be doing what Rondo's doing? NBA assistant college head coach.
Could you see him out of Tyler Euliss I can
see it.

Speaker 4 (16:46):
I mean Tyler, I think I saw it the past
two years with Cali Perry, how he kind of was
the coach for the point guards. Yeah, and you know
it was really you could tell him connected with the
guys the point guards on the floor the last couple
of years.

Speaker 3 (16:58):
So I can see that, can't you.

Speaker 2 (16:59):
Yeah, Yuless was the guy a lot of times drawing
up the plays, right, that's right, kind of the mastermind
behind what they're gonna do next when they go out
after the time out.

Speaker 3 (17:07):
So yeah, I could see him definitely moving up to
coaching rinks.

Speaker 4 (17:10):
I will say this, Rondo, even though he was kind
of a kind of a turd to deal with me,
was that.

Speaker 3 (17:15):
Kentucky You always say that about him? He was. He
was hard to deal with. Will did you not give
you an interview or what happened? Well? I kind of
touched on it.

Speaker 4 (17:22):
One day there was a report by Alan Color, my
buddy at Channel eighteen, and Rondo didn't appreciate or didn't like.
So the next time Alan went to talk to Rondo,
all Rondo gave him was yes, no, I don't know, Yes, no,
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
Well, is there a chance that maybe that was fair?
Like I didn't see the article that was written about him,
but like, let's say somebody wrote an article about you
that you didn't like, what would you? I mean, I
know how you are, Like you're the most lovable person
but also the most like spiteful person at times, the
nicest but the meanest person on dr That's what Matt
always calls you.

Speaker 3 (17:56):
The nicest person but also the meanest.

Speaker 4 (17:58):
I think you got to be a professional in that capacity,
and Rondo needs to probably handle himself like a professional
and like answer the media's questions. I mean, when you
walk into play, when you walk in the locker room
to play UK, you know you're walking into that bubble
where you're gonna be praised if you do well, you're
gonna be criticized if you don't. So so, But anyway,
what I was saying, even though Rondo was kind of

(18:18):
a turd to deal with.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
At least he answer the question. He did.

Speaker 4 (18:22):
He was, though, maybe the most cerebral basketball player in
college I've ever been around. Smart Him and Tayshaun Prince
were kind of back to back. Those guys were just
smart basketball players. Mark Pope. The people talk about him
being the same way. Rondo's in that same category.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Coaches get younger and younger every year.

Speaker 5 (18:40):
Now, with JJ Reddick joining the Lakers, maybe it is
in Rondo's future here soon.

Speaker 4 (18:45):
I won't be surprised. Like I said, he's already involved
in it with the coaching his AAU team. He wanted
to get on cow staff. So now that brings up
another question that that Raijan was a part of last night.
You want to try one more UK trivia questions? Say
you're doing this one?

Speaker 3 (18:56):
Okay?

Speaker 4 (18:57):
Reed Shepherd almost broke the UK men's basketball record for
steals in a season. Okay, he had eighty two. Yeah,
Rondo holds the record with eighty seven in a season.
Rondo's also number six on the list. So name the
next six players on the list besides Rondo and Reed
Shepherd who have the most steals in a season.

Speaker 3 (19:17):
Jerry Prickett No, no, but you no, No.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
I feel like Prickett is on like the all time
steals like top ten for career something.

Speaker 3 (19:28):
Yeah, yeah, this is steals in a season. Wayne Turner.

Speaker 4 (19:31):
Wayne Turner is next in line. Yes, that's one, yeah, one.

Speaker 3 (19:34):
Yeah's call. I'm trying to think of guards.

Speaker 4 (19:37):
Bogans, Clint Ashton, Hagens. Hagen's is a good answer, not
an answers.

Speaker 2 (19:41):
Bogan's on there, No Delk, Yes, Wayne Turner, Tony Dield,
you got four more?

Speaker 8 (19:50):
No?

Speaker 2 (19:50):
Hold on, hold on, hold on, hold on? How about
how about our boy that was just here with us
a couple of days ago. Cal Macy, Yes.

Speaker 3 (19:58):
On the list. Come on, you need three more? Billy,
come on, I mean, I mean, I'm doing all the work.
I'm here to win the newlywed game. You're doing UK
trivia here.

Speaker 2 (20:08):
Cliff Hawkins, Yes, Cliff, look at this guy. You got
two more? I'm running out now.

Speaker 3 (20:15):
Who No, Ed David is a great guess. That's who.
Richie Farmer guests last night too. I don't know, give
me the next two.

Speaker 4 (20:22):
Anthony IPPs okay, And this one was gonna be hard.

Speaker 3 (20:26):
Yeah.

Speaker 4 (20:26):
Roderick Rhodes, Oh yeah, yeah, hardly anybody got that.

Speaker 3 (20:29):
I didn't have Rodeck Rhodes.

Speaker 2 (20:30):
And that was a tough one after he had to
sit on the bench. Yeah, after those in the NCAA tournament.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
But you know, there's so many more steals now because
there's more possessions. They'd play faster and there's more possessions.
So that's why a lot of the normal the current
guys have more steals.

Speaker 2 (20:43):
That pontoon right there with the slide on the back
is the type of pontoon I would want to have.

Speaker 4 (20:47):
Yeah, it's got a grill. Look, it's got this grill.
It's got the slide back there.

Speaker 2 (20:50):
When you get I mean it doesn't have a cover,
but when you get too hot, you just go down
the slide and get in the water.

Speaker 4 (20:55):
They have pontoon rentals out here. They have cabin rentals
out here here at Sofa Creek Resorts. So it's a
great little getaway. I say, it's not that far from
Lexington and Louisville, two and a half hour drive. And
it's beautiful down here, absolutely beautiful. If I ever stand
down here for a weekend, it's absolutely worth, no doubt
about it. Eight five nine two eight h two two
eight seven. That's our phone number if you want to
call and get on board and ask us a couple
of questions.

Speaker 3 (21:14):
Uh.

Speaker 4 (21:14):
There was kind of some sad news I thought out
of Lexington yesterday when it was announced that Joe Bologna's
was closing its doors. It's gonna sell. He's gonna sell
Joe Bolonas in Lexington yesterday.

Speaker 3 (21:25):
Yes, they do a lot of advertising.

Speaker 4 (21:27):
They do do a lot of advertising with us, So
I hated to see that go.

Speaker 3 (21:29):
That's kind of a Lexington staple.

Speaker 2 (21:31):
Okay, you know, being from Louisville, living in Louisville, I'm
not really that familiar with Joe Bolonas. I'm gonna guess
they sold fried Balooney.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
Well, their pizza, pizza pasta breadsticks that's as big as
our It's like a flow for bread.

Speaker 3 (21:45):
The bread stick is so big. Always supporting the high
school tournament.

Speaker 4 (21:48):
Always, so I always told people, what do we do?
We're coming to Lexington, We're going to a game, We're
going to Keenland.

Speaker 3 (21:53):
What do I do? Well? Before ks Bar?

Speaker 4 (21:55):
I'd always say, go to Joe Bolona's, Go have one
meal at Joe Bolonas and then go do some other stuff. Now,
go to kas Bar, then go to Joe Blona's. But
I was kind of sad to see that he's gonna
sell it.

Speaker 3 (22:04):
Yeah, we're seeing more and more local restaurants close their doors.

Speaker 4 (22:08):
That's the kick in the gut right there, all these
local landmark restaurants and some Joe Bolona has been around
forever and it is a landmark in Lexton. Yeah, I
hate to see it go. It's one of Lexington's oldest restaurants.
But Joe Bolona, who turned seventy nine in April, said
this year he decided to sell it after fifty one
years in business.

Speaker 3 (22:25):
Will it still be Joe blonas just with a different owner.

Speaker 4 (22:27):
Well maybe maybe. I think they've reached a deal with somebody.
I don't know if he'll keep it as Joe Blona's.

Speaker 3 (22:32):
You know where it is. It's in an old church
close to right.

Speaker 4 (22:35):
Off campus right there, So it's kind of it is
kind of a Lexington landmark that though we all have
all been to at one point or another.

Speaker 3 (22:41):
All Right, we take a break, we come back. We're
gonna get on.

Speaker 4 (22:44):
UK First baseman Ryan Nicholson just finished an outstanding season.
Uh Individually, he had a great season, tied to the
single season home run record this year.

Speaker 3 (22:53):
A local guy he's from Saint X and TJ Smith,
personal injury attorney, called TJ he'll make them pay now.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
More of Kentucky Sports Radio presented by Stockton Mortgage.

Speaker 3 (23:03):
Here's Matt Jones.

Speaker 4 (23:05):
Welcome back to Mike's Landing's Restaurant here at sultfl Creek
Resort on Dale Hollow Lake.

Speaker 3 (23:10):
It's beautiful here today.

Speaker 4 (23:11):
We thank the folks for second year in a row
getting inviting us to come down here and now if
everybody please give a.

Speaker 3 (23:16):
Big blue nation.

Speaker 4 (23:17):
Welcome to UK first baseman Ryan Nicholson, who joins us now.

Speaker 3 (23:20):
On the phone.

Speaker 4 (23:24):
Oh, hey Ryan, we appreciate you joining us.

Speaker 3 (23:27):
Man.

Speaker 4 (23:27):
Congratulations. I mean, you guys had a great run. You
had you yourself had a great season and we just
want to get a chance to talk to about But congratulations, man,
thank you, I appreciate it. What was the biggest thrill
for you going out to the College Baseball World Series?

Speaker 2 (23:42):
Like?

Speaker 4 (23:42):
What do you when you when you're an old man
like I am. What are you gonna remember about those
those three games?

Speaker 8 (23:48):
Uh?

Speaker 9 (23:48):
Probably Mitchell Bailey's home run in the first one again
NC State.

Speaker 10 (23:52):
I was on deck from when he hit that homer
and I was I was jumping around.

Speaker 11 (23:56):
Like a little kid. I lost myself for a seconds.
So that was That's probably the one that's going to
stick out to me.

Speaker 2 (24:02):
Hey, Ryan, and Shannon talk to me a little bit
just about how much the fan support from Big Blue
Nation has has meant to this team. I mean they
showed up at Kentucky Crow Park all season long for
you then to see our fan base travel to Omahall
talk about how special that was for this team.

Speaker 9 (24:17):
Yeah, I mean that was that was so awesome in
the in the Super Regional and in the regional, I.

Speaker 3 (24:23):
Mean in this place.

Speaker 9 (24:24):
I mean Kentucky crowd Park was packed out.

Speaker 11 (24:28):
You know. I couldn't say enough about how much they
impacted the game. We are at home, and I knew
that we were going to have a really solid crowd
at Ome, huh, but I just I didn't know what.

Speaker 3 (24:36):
It was going to look like.

Speaker 9 (24:37):
And when we got there and played that first game
against NC State and how much, you know, they filled
the stadium, you know, around the whole park.

Speaker 10 (24:46):
It was just it was something special.

Speaker 11 (24:48):
It's it's really hard to describe.

Speaker 8 (24:49):
But other than some special.

Speaker 5 (24:50):
Man, Ryan speaking about that first game versus NC State,
it was daily with the walkoff, but it was you
in the bottom of the ninth tying it with a
solo home run. Take me through that moment, man, That
must have been an exciting one at Omaha.

Speaker 3 (25:03):
Yeah, it was.

Speaker 10 (25:05):
You know, we were down, we were down one and
the ninth.

Speaker 9 (25:07):
We needed something there and I was just trying to
really to get on base, and I thought they were
gonna pinch pinch run for me if I got on,
and they just kind of kept on throw me, kept
on throwing me outside, and uh, I mean, they'll really
try to try to keep the low with the wind
that day, and h just kind.

Speaker 11 (25:24):
Of snuck out of there and down the left field line,
and that's that's something I'll never forget for the rest
of my life.

Speaker 4 (25:30):
You know, we had on Chris Burke was on the
show here two weeks ago. You know, he's a Saint
X guy, you're a Sane X guy, and he talked
a little about you know, what he thought it meant
for you to be able to play out of your
in your home state for your last year of college baseball,
to get to put on the Kentucky uniform.

Speaker 3 (25:46):
What did that mean for you?

Speaker 11 (25:49):
It was it was just really special, just you know,
coming home and playing.

Speaker 3 (25:52):
For for this team.

Speaker 9 (25:54):
You know, so many people reached out when I came
when I committed to Kentucky, and it's just men so
much to my family and everyone who's reached out. And
you know, Chris Burke, especially when he's calling those games
and him being a sane next guy was.

Speaker 11 (26:07):
A time then you know, he always gives those same
next shout.

Speaker 3 (26:10):
Outs and stuff like that.

Speaker 2 (26:11):
So this is super cool coming from Cincinnati. Talk to
me about, you know, just going back to the beginning
of the season, deciding to come play for Kentucky and
coach min g O. And of course we love him
here on the show for all of his motivational talks
and everything that he does here on KSR. But what
what went into the decision to transfer to Kentucky and
play for coach Minji O.

Speaker 3 (26:33):
Yeah, it was we were going.

Speaker 10 (26:34):
Through a coaching change at at Cincinnati.

Speaker 11 (26:36):
I loved my time at Cincinnati. I'll always chaerish it
and the friendships up made over there, and it was
just time, I think, for a change of scenery. A
lot of my friends and guys I went into.

Speaker 9 (26:48):
The program with over there were even graduating going somewhere
else to play stuff like that.

Speaker 11 (26:54):
And also, yeah, like I said, we were in the
middle of a coaching change. I thought I'd put my
name in the portal.

Speaker 7 (26:58):
Kind of around see what was out there.

Speaker 9 (27:01):
I still had I still thought that I might be
able to go back to Cincinnati.

Speaker 3 (27:05):
Just with the new coach. So wait to see who
they were going to hire.

Speaker 9 (27:09):
And I got a lot of buzz in the portal
and then I knew coach Kuzan. Who's Kuzano And then
he was gonna be.

Speaker 3 (27:19):
Taking over a role at UK.

Speaker 11 (27:21):
He gave me, He gave me a text to call
and he was like, hey, like, I think.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
You really fit in here. You know, we need a
first baseman.

Speaker 9 (27:29):
I checked it out and my brother was graduating this
past semester from UK.

Speaker 11 (27:35):
I'm still close to my family and my girlfriend.

Speaker 7 (27:37):
So I was like, all right, like.

Speaker 9 (27:38):
This kind of seems like a really attractive spot right now.
And I got on the phone with coach Ammaradi, who
coach Minche, and.

Speaker 11 (27:45):
Uh, you know, I made my decision.

Speaker 7 (27:46):
After that, I was.

Speaker 9 (27:48):
Super happy that I made that decision and I wouldn't
change anything.

Speaker 2 (27:51):
Ryan smiling right Ryan Lemona smiling right now because he
always says that the girlfriend is a big factor when
it comes to.

Speaker 4 (27:57):
Oh, when it comes to recruiting, the girlfriend is you
usually undefeated, And I think I think she we owe
her a lot of gratitude for getting you to play
in Kentucky.

Speaker 3 (28:05):
Did I think she was happy?

Speaker 11 (28:08):
Like she played lacrosse at at Cincinnati and.

Speaker 9 (28:11):
I was looking at some schools in the portal that
were kind of far away, so I think she was
she was hoping that UK or since he was my
landing straws now Ryan.

Speaker 5 (28:19):
The motto this year for the team was get weird,
and we saw everything from pink bucket hats to stacking
hats on top of each other, hand puppets at the
end the dugout.

Speaker 3 (28:28):
You know where did that start in? Was that distracting?

Speaker 5 (28:31):
Is that what normally happens with the baseball team or
was this just a special group that could do stuff
like that.

Speaker 9 (28:36):
I think there's a multitude of things. I think that
this was one of the groups that can do it.
I think we had a lot of different personalities, especially
stemming from the pitching staff, who is in the dugout
when we're doing that stuff.

Speaker 3 (28:49):
I didn't really think it was very distracting.

Speaker 11 (28:51):
I loved len Our dugout was, you know, doing.

Speaker 9 (28:53):
Miscellaneous activities, just getting wild in there.

Speaker 3 (28:57):
But it's stemmed really from.

Speaker 7 (29:00):
Our player development.

Speaker 9 (29:01):
Coach who also was pitching, Trevor fitz He played on
the twenty thirteen Mississippi State College World Series team along
with our hitting coach, coach Amaratti, and they were just
really preaching like, hey, like you know that team that
we had, like we just did whatever in our power
in our dugout to.

Speaker 3 (29:18):
You know, have energy and do a bunch of you know.

Speaker 11 (29:22):
It could be done. It could be stupid, it could.

Speaker 3 (29:23):
Be whatever, like somebody could label up. But it's it's creating.

Speaker 9 (29:26):
Energy and creating momentum in the dugouts.

Speaker 11 (29:30):
And we talked about that and he kind of you
know led the charge with the pitching staff and the
dugout for when that was going on. And I think
it really, uh, it really helped. Like I want to
say like fives, I guess like throughout a game, you know,
we never really felt that we were out of everything,
and you know, I think it compelled us really, Like
through recup play.

Speaker 4 (29:49):
You know, you mentioned, you know, your home run against
in C State and of course the Dailies walk off
against in C State. But I think for a lot
of fans, one of their lasting memories is going to
be after the game rained out Tuesday night, you guys
had just a makeshift meet and greet and you were
sworn by thousands and thousands of Big Blue Nation fans
that came to meet you guys, get an autograph and

(30:10):
talk to you that that that whole scene was really
special to watch.

Speaker 3 (30:13):
I think, yeah, it was.

Speaker 10 (30:15):
It was really cool.

Speaker 11 (30:17):
Coachman so like said that we were gonna do that because.

Speaker 10 (30:20):
Of the rain out. You know, everybody was on board
for that, and it was it was kind of like
some similar to what we did, uh rep Arena for
the Florida Florida basketball game, and it was basically it
was cool to see like everyone you come down. I mean,
I know that hotels and you know, lodging and everything
saying in Omaha is is it's insanely extensive, especially for

(30:42):
that you know, ten days or so whatever it is.
But I think, you know, I could speak for all
the players that we were just so thankful that.

Speaker 7 (30:49):
You know, all those all those fans came down and
we were more than willing to do whatever, you know,
for the fans for those uh, you know, hours so
that we were down there with them. It was it
was just a rossy scene and glad that we got
to hang with U.

Speaker 8 (31:02):
Ryan.

Speaker 2 (31:02):
You were a big part of this Kentucky team during
their most successful season and history. When you look back
on the season, was there a certain point of the
season when you realized, Hey, what we've got here is
something special?

Speaker 3 (31:14):
Or did you just kind of realize that from the beginning.

Speaker 9 (31:19):
I think I think when we started like really hot
in STC play, I want to say, when we swept
through or what we were like fifteen and one in.

Speaker 11 (31:28):
SEC play, I was like, all right, like we have
something different, some different than what these other SEC schools have.
I wouldn't say early on like I was. I think
we were still trying to find like our our niche
and like what we were, you know, where we kind
of sat and you know, when you start at CC play,
it's it's a totally different season when you know you're

(31:49):
you're facing you know, the toughest competition and stuff like that.
So I think we're I was.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
I think, like myself, everybody.

Speaker 11 (31:54):
Was kind of waiting to see, you know, how we
would fall and you know where we were falling them.
But I think once we took care of those first
couple of weekends in conference, I think everyone just kind
of looking around like right, like, you know, we got
some here and you know, we need to make.

Speaker 2 (32:08):
The most of this.

Speaker 5 (32:09):
Radio Ran I got to think that Kentucky Proud Park
during those Super Regional games may have been one of
the best environments in baseball that you've ever been in.

Speaker 3 (32:17):
Would you agree with that?

Speaker 5 (32:17):
Because I felt like Big Blue Nation really showed out
how they were building bleachers in the outfield.

Speaker 3 (32:22):
So we can get more people in there. That was
a lot of fun.

Speaker 11 (32:24):
Yeah, I was, I really wish they'd keep those bleachers.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
I thought that was super cool.

Speaker 11 (32:28):
I mean, they need to get some.

Speaker 7 (32:31):
Some seating around the park, you know, in the outfield.

Speaker 11 (32:33):
I think that'll really you know, help with uh just
like how it really is set up.

Speaker 10 (32:39):
I think bleachers in the outfield is so cool, but
especially in college.

Speaker 11 (32:42):
But yeah, I mean those those super Regional games, I
mean they were packed out like five you know, five
rows deep off the rail and uh, you know in
the outfield. I mean, we just can't can't really ask
for a better atmosphere than that. And is you know
that they really propel us both regional and Super Regional weekend.

Speaker 4 (33:00):
Everybody big round of applause for Ryan Nicholson for joining us.
Thank you very much, Ryan, congratulations, thank you. Great season
as a team. You yourself had twenty three home runs,
tied the season scenes of a single season record for
home runs in a season.

Speaker 3 (33:13):
So thank you for joining us. In best of luck
to you man. Thank you.

Speaker 4 (33:17):
All right, Ryan Nicholson, very good interview, because guys, now,
you know, coming back kind of unwhine a little bit,
and I hope they get a chance let it soak
in just what they just were able to accomplish, even
though it kind of ended disappointingly.

Speaker 5 (33:28):
It will now is the time for reflection for all
of that, and they'll realize that they've not only had
the best season ever in Kentucky baseball history, but they've
laid the foundation for that to be the barometer for
success for Kentucky baseball.

Speaker 4 (33:40):
All right, eight five nine two eight zero two two
eight seven. I got a couple of lines open. We'll
get to the phone line as soon as we come back. Ryan, Shannon,
Billy Super Marios run here and taking pictures. We got
a great crowd here at Mike's landing at Sulfur Creek
Resort on dal Hallawake.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
We'll be right back. This is Kentucky Sports Radio.

Speaker 4 (33:55):

Speaker 4 (34:55):
Billy, we had a guy come up and ask us
during the break, what SEC series did the UKA baseball
team actually lose this year?

Speaker 3 (35:02):
They only lost two series. That's right.

Speaker 5 (35:03):
Tennessee was the one, and then South Carolina was the
other one that we couldn't think about.

Speaker 4 (35:07):
Won all the other series, which is tough to do
in the SEC when actually two SEC teams are playing
for the championship this weekend.

Speaker 3 (35:13):
That's right. College World Series Texas A and M and Tennessee.
Who you so? Who you root for?

Speaker 2 (35:18):
Texas A and M, Kentucky and Tennessee's the ride, but
you can't pull for Tennessee under any circumstances.

Speaker 3 (35:24):
We were on board with that, right, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
The worst song lyrics ever to Rocky Time, that's right.
We'd hate to come on here and then say we're
rooting for Tennis.

Speaker 3 (35:32):
So Texas A and M.

Speaker 4 (35:33):
We're rooting for Texas A and M. Knock them all all, right?
Eight five nine two eight h two two eight seven.
That's the Clark's pumpingsh out phone number. Who we got,
Matt Ken? Go ahead, Ken, y'all got a questions.

Speaker 8 (35:45):
Y'all were talking about AI on the pre show, and
y'all were talking about Randy Travis uses AI to make
a song some time ago. How cool would it be
if Kentucky uses AI that bring back k wouldn't effort
and you a tall do a game with Tom Leach.

Speaker 4 (36:07):
Appreciate the phone call. I love that idea. Can you
imagine Tom and k would calling a game one game?
I think that would be awesome.

Speaker 2 (36:13):
They're both play by play guys. Yeah, so how would
that work? Can you get one person? Do you know
the color commentary?

Speaker 4 (36:19):
So Tom would probably have to do the live commentary
of the live action? Yeah, since it's Kavid would be AI,
but k I Kaywood could like be the color commentator
to drop comments that throughout the game, right, Yeah.

Speaker 5 (36:29):
And listen, the nostalgia factor would be great, but it's
a slippery slope here with that.

Speaker 3 (36:33):
Yeah, and Jack Gibbons might have a little something to
say about that exactly. They'll be replacing me with AI.

Speaker 4 (36:39):
Jack would probably give up a seed for one game
if they want to try for one game, But that
would be kind of would be kind of I.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
Always thought, you know, if you want to do something cool,
like a throwback thing, why not bring back like the
Jefferson Pilot sports guys, Tom Hammett, Larry Connelly. Yeah, love
those guys, you know, like when you watch those SEC
games and you had those two calling.

Speaker 3 (36:55):
Loved it. It was, it was, it was awesome. A
two two eighty seven.

Speaker 4 (36:59):
Who's now Matt Alex go ahead, Alex.

Speaker 6 (37:03):
Hey, guys, I called in a few weeks ago talking
about the University of Kentucky wrestling. There's two things I
wanted to bring back to your rhymes. A gentleman's thing
you couldn't think of was Garrett Headley. He was Kentucky's
first SEC champion wrestler. All right, and we need to
start the campaign to get Joe CARRR into the Kentucky

(37:24):
University of Kentucky Hall of Fame. He's a three time
a SCC champion, three time NCAA All American. He was
a part of Kentucky's seventy six and seventy seven A
STC championship team. The University of Kentucky wrestling needs to
be represented into us UK Hall of Fame, and.

Speaker 3 (37:42):
Joe Carr Senior.

Speaker 7 (37:43):
Needs to be the first in dus d Alex.

Speaker 4 (37:46):
We appreciate it. I mean, I'm surprised Joe Carr is
not in the UK Flexs Hall of Fame. It's because
wrestling was considered a club sport. Maybe that's why he's
not in. I don't know, but yeah, Joe Carr, that's
the one name I think most people know when it
comes to wrestling in the state.

Speaker 5 (37:58):
Well with the resume that, why not, right, I mean,
honoring our our past wildcats. You make a phone call Ryan,
get that done.

Speaker 3 (38:05):
I'm gonna make a phone call to get Shannon the
dude gonna.

Speaker 2 (38:07):
I'm gonna say, I think there are some other names
when it comes to wrestling in Kentucky that people might recognize.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
Shannon T Dude, go to UK.

Speaker 5 (38:17):
There are another women's royal rumble coming around that you
can participate in.

Speaker 3 (38:21):
If so, maybe I can get you in there.

Speaker 4 (38:23):
Uh. I was there the day that Shannon wrestled a
couple of women and they threw him out of the ring.

Speaker 3 (38:28):
Out of the ring, Remember that part? I remember. I
think I've got pictures of it. I think that's revisionist
history you're doing there. Eight five two seven.

Speaker 4 (38:35):
We got another one, Matt, Mike, go ahead, Mike, Hey,
what so?

Speaker 3 (38:43):
Go ahead? Mike?

Speaker 11 (38:44):
Okay, Okay, can you hear now?

Speaker 3 (38:49):
Yeah, we hear you. Go ahead, Okay.

Speaker 11 (38:51):
Well, I just want to tell you, Harold, we were
at the College World Series this week and.

Speaker 3 (39:01):
It was awesome.

Speaker 4 (39:03):
You guys were at the College World Series. Yeah, I
appreciate the phone call, Thank you very much. Just to
see that sea of blue that was there was kind
of impressive.

Speaker 8 (39:10):
Wasn't it.

Speaker 3 (39:10):
It really was.

Speaker 5 (39:11):
I saw Brian Milam, sports director for WKYT, talk about
it on Facebook the other day. I was like, his
best experience of his career. It's a special thing for
baseball guys to make that pilgrimage to Omaha, and really.

Speaker 3 (39:22):
Glad that UK got their moment to do that.

Speaker 4 (39:25):
Tom Hard questioned when he hosted our show if Kentucky
would travel to watch KA baseball.

Speaker 2 (39:29):
Remember on Tom Hart knows better than that. He was
just trying to challenge using us up. Yeah, you know,
like like Kentucky fans travel better than anybody, right, I mean,
whether it be basketball, football, even baseball when it's something
like that, and the College World Series for the first
time in school history.

Speaker 3 (39:44):
You knew that Big Blue Nation was going to show up.
Your dream was to run around the bases at the
Little League World Series, which happened. It did happen. The
next step now is Omaha, is it not.

Speaker 4 (39:53):
It makes me kind of sad because if Kentucky had
survived and it made it to this weekend, we would
be leaving for omahall right after this show, been loading
up driving to Omaha for the weekend. I have nothing
scheduled this weekend so we could go out there, And
so my heart kind of breaks a little bit knowing
we're that close to getting to go out.

Speaker 3 (40:11):
There, and well, the Colors write those hotel prices out there,
that's true. Good luck.

Speaker 4 (40:15):
You know, a lot of my friends drove up, saw
one game, spent one night, drove home, yeah, you know,
saw the game over the weekend, had to get back
to work like we all did.

Speaker 2 (40:22):
So I just want to see Billy Ryan and Rockos
oh yeah, because I think he would put a dent
on that Jello challenge that we had going on there.
You know, Kentucky is like four thousand behind Tennessee because
some millionaire came in there and donated it what was
like thirty thousand. Yeah, it was ridiculous. But I think
Ryan could do some damage on some jello show.

Speaker 5 (40:39):
I've seen Ryan shirtless on top of the bar at
Chas Bar and girl sprang Champagne. So what a little
couple of jello shots would do to our guy after
a big Kentucky way.

Speaker 4 (40:47):
If Mike's Landing wants to have a jello shot contest
here between Cumberland County and Clinton County and Wayne County,
I'm on board. I'll try to help the local guys
out a little bit.

Speaker 3 (40:56):
Again.

Speaker 2 (40:57):
I don't doubt you when it comes to that, I
think that you would. You've probably come out probably ahead
of everybody.

Speaker 11 (41:02):
All right.

Speaker 4 (41:02):
So here's what we got coming up next hour. Billy,
I'm gonna give you these some cards. You're gonna go
to one corner and answer them, okay. Shannon, I'm giving
you some cards. You're going to another call and answer
them okay. And then you don't show each other, and
then you bring them back to me.

Speaker 3 (41:15):
We flip them over. You flip them over.

Speaker 4 (41:17):
Don't let don't don't let your opponents see the answer,
because then they'll score a point.

Speaker 3 (41:20):
I got it, So you got to try, you know.

Speaker 4 (41:21):
We'll play the new the first edition of the KSR
Newlywed game, and uh, Mario's gonna be the judge, okay,
and Mario has already said, you have to be exactly right.

Speaker 3 (41:30):
Exactly right, correct, like verbatim. Like you can't okay, verbatim.
All right, so we.

Speaker 4 (41:35):
Also go to the phone line eight five nine two

Have you ever wondered what life might be like if you stopped worrying about being wanted, and focused on understanding what you actually want? That was the question Hope Woodard asked herself after a string of situationships inspired her to take a break from sex and dating. She went "boysober," a personal concept that sparked a global movement among women looking to prioritize themselves over men. Now, Hope is looking to expand the ways we explore our relationship to relationships. Taking a bold, unfiltered look into modern love, romance, and self-discovery, Boysober will dive into messy stories about dating, sex, love, friendship, and breaking generational patterns—all with humor, vulnerability, and a fresh perspective.
