do the summer tour that that gets exhausting because it's
like you feel like you have to go to every

you have a summer. And then then we were doing
it where people you could just do it if you
if you paid for remote and that's nice, but then
that means you're normally at businesses, right, so that doesn't
mean you're kind of in unique places. So I thought, well,
this would be a way to go to places where
people don't necessarily pay, but you can come. And you know,

last week we went to had a lot of people
in the retirement community.

And then now we're in Independence and the guy said
that called in what was your name against?

Eric guy called and said, uh, you know, I got
a lot of pinball machines in my house and I thought, okay,
he's probably got one or two pinball machines right like it,
you know, and he sees a nice guy. That'll be fine.
Oh that's not where we are. This Eric and Independence
who just lives when you just say, like a normal,

And you go in his basement and he has eighteen
pinball machines and a streaming I want to say service,
but the literally an ability to stream that is better
than iheart's Eric, let me just say ability to stream.
He hosts pinball tournaments in here. And this is this

is why I wanted to go out on the road,
because these are the kind of things Ryan, you don't
see in everyday life.

You know, we set the bar pretty high when our
show with the Grandpalls and Grandma's, but I think we've
elevated the bar even more. You walk down these stairs.

in his basement playing video games.

Do you major tournament? Do you cook for him? You
used to and then you're like, bring your own food. Yeah,

Just the fact that Angie, Angie, you have to be
a saint to allow Eric to do this in this
house and and and like this it's clearly his it's
clearly a passion.

And I think it's very cool. Saw your passion in

I'm tuning in for the next live stream. We didn't
mention there's this whole operation on wheels that goes over

And what I love about this is if you just
drove in this neighborhood. And then, first of all, have
you ever been to Independence?

Again, we did during COVID during COVID, So besides that,
I don't think I've been to Independence. A little bit
off the interstate, I will say, as I walked up,
one of your neighbors had his shirt off in his
garage working with his butt crack showing that think I
was playing the loud music.

I thought for a subdivision at nine to fifteen am. Honestly,
he looked like he could have been in Middlesbrough and
he was right here. That was nice and then you
you come in here and you just would never see this.

Yeah, like you said, it's better than the arcades we
grew up in. But I just love the fact that, like,
is it a community of pinball people that I didn't
even know existed.

all my neighbors have going on in there, souse.

pineapple stuff. This is a different kind of thing. Although

is going on in the neighborhood. When I did the
book and I went to all these counties and I
learned just the official things that happened in each county,

with heat that is just going to trap like one
hundred and five degree heat in Omaha for four days
while they're playing baseball. I mean, they're telling people who

Like, I don't know, be careful.

I don't know what officially, they're saying, but it's supposed
to be crazy hot. That's how the Reds are right now.
They are that hot. One nine of eleven. Last night,
it was two hour rain delay. I was there for
all of it. Then the game started, we got the lead,
and I was like, right, right, right, and everybody was chatting.
And then when it started raining, the crowd went nuts

and they canceled the game with the Reds ahead and
now only a half game back from the wildcard.

And you said it was Elie bubblehead night, lest I
didn't get one. You didn't get one.

I feel like if you pay for season tickets as

And they're like, can't do it. And people were everywhere

biggest crowds of the year. This is a big week

than usual too. You know you often give your tickets away.
I feel like you're on a streak of catching all
the home games. Well, I mean, I wanted to get

couple of those they're going.

last week we went to had a lot of people
in the retirement community.

a saint to allow Eric to do this in this

clearly a passion.

off the interstate, I will say, as I walked up,

I thought for a subdivision at nine to fifteen am. Honestly,

it was two hour rain delay. I was there for

And then when it started raining, the crowd went nuts

and they canceled the game with the Reds ahead and
now only a half game back from the wildcard.
