basketball in China and you had a free place to stay,

was at the game Friday night. Okay, yes, I went
to the game Friday night. Cheered them on. They almost
blew it. They were up eight to two, but almost

blew it. But uh, it's fun to watch the Mets fans.
They boo their players so quickly, like they make one mistake,
and which makes it a lot better because they're just
a h I enjoyed the All Star Game. Did you
watch the All Star Game?

Loved it? I did it too, man, loved it.

I think it was great for baseball.

I didn't like that half the players had already gone home.

it's gonna be awesome. And then they were like, well
they left.

It's not often you get a Holly game and people
in it just leave reservation.

But it was great. I mean, I don't Shannon, I
wouldn't want them to do that for the regular season,
but I think for the All Star Game that was
kind of awesome.

Yeah, for the All Star Game, I mean the alternative
would be just in the game and a tie. That
right there is a lot more entertaining. So I like,
yea for the All Star Game.

Is I loved it. I thought it was awesome. I
thought it was very cool.

Well, for the All Star Game, you gotta baseball got
to do something to generate some interest. Perfect time to
do something like that, have a home run derby swing off.

I did have to admit I didn't know that was
a rule, and I didn't bringing out the batting cages
like We're just gonna have a home run derby right
here in the.

Middle of the game and a lot of pressure. You
only get three swings and you got to knock it out.

And then uh, you know, Shannon the welliver you drew
as well. We get reds and braves at the Bristol
Motor Speedway a week Saturday.

Heck yeah, braves are still not very good. But did
you see our boy Ronald Acooney over the weekend? That
was pretty amazing scene. That is maybe the best so
we have that dial though, but maybe we should get
a little a little fun wager on it.

So do they guess they could probably give you opportunity

I probably could get a press credential too from ESPN
because they're doing the fifty States in fifty days. They're
doing it there and Marty and McGee are going to
be there. We were talking about it, so I probably
could even get press creditial. It'd be cool. So I

Braves are not really in it. But it'll be good
to get some excitement behind our two teams when the
season are gone.

Will Levis Drew is going to be out for the year.
He's going to have surgery on his shoulder, will be
out for the year. Bummer for will Levis. Odd that

he's announcing it now, are you? But like out for
the year is well. Will Love is playing the NFL again,
hot take. I think this would be good for his value.
I think if he had played it all, especially if
he has a lingering issue, it just would have been bad.
The Titans are so bad, the line still stinks, especially
like cam Ward. I think he's putting a bad spot.
I think if Levis takes a year off, gets his

shoulder healthy, it might be his best chance a year
from now to still have hope. So I'm taking kind
of the counterpoint that the Titans sucks so much that
him taking a year off will help him. It's very
much like now Couch had more success than Will, but
it's a similar thing Ryan that happened to Couch. Hurt
his shoulder, had to sit out a year, then has
to come back. And do you think Will Levis will
play again?

I think Drew hit it.

I think this year off may help him because if
he tries to play, gets beat up again, has another
bad year, his stock that is going to continue to
go down. Why not take a year off, get healthy,
and come back stronger next year with somebody else.

want it to work out for him, But he's.

Never had a fair shot. Diehard Titans fan here. They
put him in a horrible spot.

It is a shame that our two big quarterbacks of
the last twenty five years went to the NFL to
just terrible situation.

And somehow Tipcot still got the Browns to the playoffs.

It's amazing he was able to do that on that
horrible team.

gets better. I hope it works out for him, but
I was surprised. I mean, he didn't have surgery in
the entire offseason and now waiting to do it right
now seems like a really odd thing to me.

The timing is suspect you had all these months to
get it ready and try to salvage a little bit
of a season. Might even mean that he's kind of
taking my angle and really thinking it could help.

like for real, Oh my goodness, there's so many players,

And I'm telling you, Matt, as far as I'm concerned,
you can keep it bile familiar, or you can switch

you see this. One of the things I like about
the tvt and watching these games is I do I
do love the way Kentucky embraces oh yeah, and you know,
to be fair to them. Louisville does the same thing.
I mean, these two, these two schools, the way Kentucky
and Louisville use this event to connect with their alumni,

it's just awesome to me. I mean, Mantras, Harold takes
a private jet to make sure he gets back to
the game. That's cool. It just is that is a
cool thing that he was willing to do that all
these UK guys and then watching the current team celebrating
with the past guys on the floor Drew. That's that's
awesome to me. I mean I watched Otega away I

guess it was with Doron Lamb and they were like
tapping it up after the game. How can you not
love that if you're a Kentucky fan. That's the best
part in all this. The current team was at both
games in the crowd and as you said, celebrating with
them afterwards. Sean Woods in his interview, he's talking about
the game, the close call they had, but he also
talked about how where it is and how fun is
that these guys get to be Kentucky basketball players again.

I mean, you're Kentucky basketball player forever. But they're coming
back and actually playing in front of fans and doing
these events, and as we've mentioned guys like Archie and Khalill,
it's a good reset for them. But it's also just
good for Willie to have that moment too, and these
other Harrisons guys that are at the end.

To ask me, give me three of the five UK
players that I think were the fans were the hardest
one during the cal era. I would say to you

put so much pressure on the guards that if they
didn't play. But I don't know that we'll ever get
that moment with Devin ask you or or Ryan Harrow.
Maybe we get it with Severe Wheeler one day, we'll see.
But those other three, it's nice that they still come
back and they get to have these moments.

referees got together on the sidelines with the coaches were

can't do that to my guys. I know it's Kentucky

Yes, it was the funniest thing I heard about set
out in the forward laugh and I was like, oh
my gosh, it's the greatest thinger the That's what I
like about it is because it's just like regular guys
playing ball.

It is. I appreciate the call. I didn't hear that.
I love listening to the refs be miked up because
they didn't know the rules. Like they were sitting there
arguing about the ten second violation and it was clear
no one knew what. I don't know where they got
those referees, but they probably ought to stay in that division.

I'm trying to remember the exact quote, but they caught
a great moment of Sean Wood's arguing with the ref
and he's like, I'm on you, I'm on, you don't
even know what you're doing. You don't even know the rules.

But he was right. They didn't know.

He's like, I caught you, but I've enjoyed that. I'm
surprised we didn't get salt to your language with the
coaches miked up, but it's fun hearing them go back
and forth with the refs.

Well. The itinerary is a lot of that kind of stuff,
you know, and it's it's uh, I mean they're good
for you. There's historical stuff. There's like going and seeing

to go see penguins.

Yeah, an octopus, Like, uh, did you see the net
We talked about this, that Netflix documentary My Octopus Teacher.

They're there so I can South Africa. Yes, what are
you most nervous about? The repelling or the scuba diving.

Or the octopus or the flight.

I mean really, none of it is pleasant. It's like
you signing a couple of things. I'm looking forward to
seeing all the like we're going to like the prison
where they held Mandela. So I think that history is
going to be really fascinating. I'm looking forward to being
in a completely different country. Like while I love Europe

and have been there a bunch, it is in the
ballpark of America. It's different, definitely different, but in the ballpark, sure,
But like Mexico in rural Mexico is a different world.
This is going to be a different world. So I'm
looking forward to that. I'm very much not looking forward
to the flights, just I don't like to fly, and

then that long, it's just a long time. I also
want to challenge my I mean like this is a
this is like there's part of me that goes you
know what, I'm right there at middle age.

It's not midlife crisis. I mean I have to go
for this fellowship. I didn't pick this place. Like they
we were supposed to go to Israel, and then they
were like can't there, can't go to Israel. But this
was supposed to be a trip to Israel. So this
is playing B plan B. So they switched from Israel
to South Africa. But yeah, there's a sense of this

is like, you know, you're in your middle of your life.
If you're not gonna do this now, Ryan, when you
do it? You know what I mean? Like, when are
you gonna do something like that?

No, wife, no kids, just might as well have experienced
life like this. You said you read the itinerary?

Is there another like play like you had to? You
had to you guys had to play one time?

lot of speakers. So like we're going to the South
African Presidential Palace, We're going to the South African Parliament,
