Org quarterback out number two here Kentucky Sports Radio Live
at Shady Raise a lot of people during the break
and they're getting sunglasses on a hot day. I say,
I know, I say this every time it's like this,
But you guys sitting in this sun, you don't know
how much that means to me. These are true fans
and they're gonna hopefully win some stuff here at the
(01:18):
end of the show. As soon as the show eightf
I'm nine two eight oh twenty two eighty seven. As
as soon as the show finishes, I'm getting.
Speaker 4 (01:25):
In my car.
Speaker 3 (01:25):
I've got a couple buddies coming here. We're going to
Pittsburgh for reds Pirates. Of course, Red's lost last night
classic Red's luck. Paul Skens gave up seven hits for
the only time in his career, Shannon, and we still
didn't score a run. Even though he gave up He'd
never given up seven hits before. So on the one hand,
we hit him better than anybody had. On the other hand,
we still didn't score any run.
Speaker 5 (01:46):
I think he had eight strikeouts. Sort of a strange game.
You don't see if pitcher give up seven hits and
then give and then have eight strikeouts to go along
with it. But yeah, is the summer of Elly over
again or well?
Speaker 3 (01:55):
But I I think if we legitimately want to make
the playoffs, we probably need to win all three of
these coming up if we if but I do think
the Summer Villians, if we don't win two, you can't.
But I just saw this stat. Here's the here's the
stat that shows what the struggles with the Reds. You
want to know in the last twenty one times they've
(02:16):
played at Pittsburgh, a team that stinks.
Speaker 4 (02:19):
Last twenty one times, you know what?
Speaker 6 (02:20):
Their record is?
Speaker 5 (02:21):
Not good?
Speaker 4 (02:22):
Five and sixteen.
Speaker 5 (02:23):
Wow, you gotta be able to be teams.
Speaker 3 (02:26):
It's been all year We've been winning these series against
the good teams, and then we lose the series against
the Braves, we lose the series against the I think
it was the Rockies. We lose the series against the
might lose the series against the Pirates. So yeah, I
think two of the next three or the Summer villyu
is over. But I'm looking forward to going either way.
Pittsburgh's got a great stadium for a team that states
(02:48):
is amazing.
Speaker 4 (02:48):
It's an awesome state.
Speaker 7 (02:49):
I was about to add that, when you know, I
did like eleven stadiums. If I'm not mistaken, I rank
Pittsburgh won. It's been a few years since we did that,
but I thought it was awesome there. They got the
view of the bridges and everything in the background. Pittsburgh
is a fun city.
Speaker 3 (03:00):
I do highly recommend going to Pittsburgh Stadium there. First
of all, tickets are cheap. We're sitting like on the
field for eighty bucks a ticket. And uh, and it's
it's beautiful. But the team Ryan is bad and Skens
is gone, so now we play play all their bad people.
Speaker 8 (03:17):
Well, I hope you and your friends walk to the
stadium because you know more than the Internet when you're
walking on the streets in Pittsburgh.
Speaker 5 (03:23):
Is it Tyler Texas night?
Speaker 7 (03:24):
There?
Speaker 4 (03:24):
It's a yeah, that is true. It's Pittsburgh, the place
I knew more than the Picklesburg.
Speaker 5 (03:29):
Yeah.
Speaker 3 (03:29):
Yeah, well sometimes you know more than the the Internet.
Speaker 4 (03:32):
Question.
Speaker 3 (03:33):
I'm nine two eighty seven. Did you see Mark Pope
teaching Jaden Quaintans.
Speaker 7 (03:38):
How to drive? Have you all seen this video?
Speaker 3 (03:41):
So Jadan Quaintan's was getting his driver's license today maybe
I think his test was today, Uh, maybe going on
right now, and they took the team, took him to
a parking lot and they did the Brady Bunch challenge.
You remember when the Brady Bunch they would try to
back up and touch the cone.
Speaker 4 (03:58):
But not have the egg fall. Do you remember that?
Speaker 3 (04:01):
Yeah, they did that and streamed the live video.
Speaker 4 (04:05):
Uh, Drew, I thought that was very cool.
Speaker 3 (04:07):
Again, team bonding and Mark Pope doing like dorky things,
but things that are kind of fun to watch.
Speaker 7 (04:12):
Might be the longest drop by Wildcat. This isn't Kroger
Field exciting about that? I did wonder women that one. Yeah,
when Pope went live, I thought there's gonna be hundreds
of people that drive straight to Kroger Field just to
be a part of this. I wondered if any fans
showed up and watched that, because how coo would that
be to just go watch future lottery pick and learn
how to parallel park at the football stadium? It is?
Speaker 4 (04:34):
That is true? Yeah, I mean that that.
Speaker 3 (04:36):
This is the dude who could be picked in the
top five of the draft and he's out there trying
not to hit an egg in his car to get
his license.
Speaker 6 (04:42):
He's only isn't only like eighteen years old? I mean
he's feeling really young.
Speaker 8 (04:47):
I think it was a great team bonding experience just
to have because the other teammates out there kind of
helping him, trying to, you know, get him excited about it,
teach him some things. So I think it's just a
great way that Pope again has drawing this team kind
of as a bond of the unit. All come from
different category, different teams get him to come together.
Speaker 5 (05:03):
So he doesn't need to know how to parallel park.
He's gonna have one of these big expensive cars that
you've hit a button at a parallel parks itself. He
doesn't need to know how to do that happens. Yeah,
they got cars that park themselves.
Speaker 4 (05:14):
Now it'll just do like it'll just oh yeah.
Speaker 7 (05:16):
The new tuessela is if I'm at Whole Foods and
it's raining, I can say come pick me up, and
it'll pull up and park with.
Speaker 4 (05:21):
Oh yeah, there's a girl.
Speaker 3 (05:23):
There's a I won't say who it is or but
there's a girl who dates who works the ks bar,
who dates a UK football player of some prominence. And
I know he's doing well in Ale, yeah, based on
the car she drives.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
But she does that, just hit that button.
Speaker 3 (05:43):
She hits a button and the car will drive around
and pick her up in front of the in front
of the bar, and I'm like, good greet, why are
you working here? Yeah, you got you got cars driving
to you.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
You're gonna be.
Speaker 5 (05:55):
Fine, right to get one of those.
Speaker 6 (05:57):
I am not ready for that.
Speaker 8 (05:58):
I'm not ready to get in a car that you
don't have to have a driver and it's driving for you.
Speaker 6 (06:02):
I'm just not there.
Speaker 5 (06:04):
That's the future of ks R road trips.
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Honestly, that moment, by the way, was when I knew
that UK football had more in ile money than I thought.
Was when the player's girlfriend was able.
Speaker 7 (06:16):
To have her car come pick her up on her
own crew.
Speaker 3 (06:18):
Then I was like, maybe there's more in ile money
here than I than I realized.
Speaker 7 (06:22):
Yeah, they're doing all right, And that if the significant
other not even it's a college girlfriend, it's a significant
other in college.
Speaker 4 (06:31):
You could you could see that. Who's up next?
Speaker 9 (06:33):
Shane from Grayson is up next?
Speaker 4 (06:35):
Shane? Go ahead? How they go ahead?
Speaker 10 (06:42):
Hey Ortland Pinkles, did you hear that story?
Speaker 4 (06:46):
Yes, we told it on the air, all right.
Speaker 10 (06:50):
Did do you think I got earned a college scholarship
press there? Do you think like somebody like.
Speaker 11 (06:56):
Kentucky ways well you ought to offer him.
Speaker 4 (06:58):
Or do you know that.
Speaker 10 (07:00):
Well.
Speaker 3 (07:01):
I don't know if it's staged or not, but getting
one hit probably, I mean, I would think most scouting
departments want to see one more than one at bat
before they give a college scholarship, I would think. But
it was a very cool story for people whn't know.
Picked a guy on the crowd and he came out
there and got a hit in the actual minor league game.
Speaker 4 (07:19):
That was a that was kind of a cool thing.
Speaker 6 (07:21):
He hit a home run. Didn't he hit a home run?
Speaker 4 (07:24):
Well, so would you give him a scholarship?
Speaker 6 (07:26):
That had to be staged. That had to be as
a prop.
Speaker 5 (07:28):
But even if that in practice, there's guys that one swing,
don't hit a home run.
Speaker 8 (07:34):
I only had three home runs my whole college career.
Speaker 6 (07:38):
I think it absolutely no.
Speaker 5 (07:39):
I don't think it was.
Speaker 7 (07:41):
But you think everything staged, I'm not everything.
Speaker 5 (07:43):
I mean, I think it's possible that somebody who's a
former college baseball player could go out there and won
in bat and hit a home run. I think it
looks worse for the picture. I feel bad for that guy.
Imagine you're a pitcher and you gave up a home run.
Nobody thinks about that guy.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
That's that's actually a good point. What else you got? Shape?
Speaker 3 (08:00):
He's gone, Oh look at you, Rick, Rick?
Speaker 4 (08:05):
Are you you got a quick trigger finger?
Speaker 7 (08:06):
There? Rick?
Speaker 9 (08:07):
No, I didn't do anything. He just his own accord.
Speaker 7 (08:11):
Rick, what's you?
Speaker 3 (08:12):
I mean we're all like traveling around like, you know,
throughout the weekend.
Speaker 7 (08:15):
What's a rick weekend?
Speaker 12 (08:17):
Like?
Speaker 9 (08:18):
But lots of wine for one thing?
Speaker 4 (08:20):
You are just mister wine.
Speaker 7 (08:22):
Do you just come home?
Speaker 4 (08:23):
Pop it open? And then what's your what's your favorite wine?
Speaker 9 (08:27):
Probably?
Speaker 4 (08:29):
Okay? Do you have like a brand that you like?
Speaker 9 (08:32):
Yeah, Kendall Jackson, Kendall Jackson is the king of Chardonnay's.
Speaker 7 (08:36):
Look at that?
Speaker 5 (08:36):
Wow, somebody is it?
Speaker 4 (08:40):
I don't know. I thought it's not. It's is good.
Speaker 7 (08:43):
I mean, you know you don't have to go out
and get the hundred dollars Kendall Jackson.
Speaker 3 (08:47):
I'll tell you what I want to buy, Like, I
want to buy you a gift for your all your work.
Speaker 4 (08:52):
Here, what's the wine of your dreams? Like?
Speaker 3 (08:54):
What's the wine that if I gave it to you,
you'd go, This is Rick, I've wanted this.
Speaker 4 (08:58):
This will be a fun thing to drink.
Speaker 9 (09:02):
Are you ready for listen?
Speaker 12 (09:03):
Now?
Speaker 4 (09:05):
Sure?
Speaker 9 (09:05):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (09:06):
Probably stags leap, stags leap, stags leap, Cabernet sauvignon.
Speaker 4 (09:13):
Okay, how much does that cost? Rick?
Speaker 9 (09:15):
That runs probably around fifty five sixty bucks.
Speaker 4 (09:19):
All right, we'll get you here.
Speaker 5 (09:20):
I got it for forty seven seventy seven.
Speaker 6 (09:23):
Right, I'll get you the place right.
Speaker 7 (09:26):
Where's Billy? Where's Billy?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
So it's a stags leaf.
Speaker 9 (09:29):
What stags leap is the name of a winery, and
the kind of wine is Cabernet Sauvignon.
Speaker 3 (09:36):
Okay, let's go over the whole foods Billy right there
and see if you can find it. You'll have it,
and then you'll and then you'll give it to Shannon.
We'll take it back to Rick. Okay, thank you for
how much work you've done.
Speaker 9 (09:48):
I appreciate that.
Speaker 7 (09:49):
Ye ye, all right, thank you very much.
Speaker 4 (09:52):
We'll take it. We're not gonna take a break. Who's next?
Speaker 9 (09:54):
We have Jordan's up next.
Speaker 4 (09:56):
Jordan, go ahead, Jordan, all right, man, I got it.
Speaker 10 (10:00):
Foist questions for you, then I'm on hop off here.
My first question is if you had to pick between
the Big twelve, the Big ten, or the acc for
Kentucky to join as a basketball conference? Which one would
you pick? And why?
Speaker 4 (10:14):
No way?
Speaker 7 (10:14):
Do I have to leave?
Speaker 4 (10:16):
Do I have a right? Two questions?
Speaker 3 (10:17):
Do I have to leave the SEC? Because the answer
to me would be staying the SEC? Do I have
to leave the SEC?
Speaker 10 (10:24):
This is just a hypothetical if you had to pick
one of those three? And why?
Speaker 4 (10:27):
Okay?
Speaker 3 (10:27):
And then does it do I? Do I play football
there too? Or just basketball?
Speaker 10 (10:32):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (10:32):
Yeah, I played.
Speaker 3 (10:33):
Football and basketball. Okay, now that's look before you get
the second question. I think that's a good question. All right,
Let's say the SEC kicks us out, they say you all,
we don't like you anymore, and the Big Ten and
the ACC and the Big twelve all give us invitations.
Which one are we taking? If it was up to you?
I mean, I know what we would take. We would
take the Big Ten because it's more money. But which
(10:55):
one would you prefer to go to?
Speaker 7 (10:59):
A He's not even on the table, not even bringing
that hat out by ACC?
Speaker 4 (11:03):
Really? Yeah, you don't want to play duke in Carolina
every year?
Speaker 7 (11:07):
No, they're dying conference. Let them die, Big twelve probably
Big twelve. I'm leaning towards the football aspect too, because
you think we can win the Big twelve, just more
fun trips stuff like that. I don't want to go
to Purdue. I don't want to go to Wisconsin. I
don't want to go to Indiana.
Speaker 4 (11:23):
Okay, what about you?
Speaker 8 (11:24):
Right see, I'm going to ACC. You get to play
Duke and North Carolina home and home maybe every year, Louisville.
And for football, I think Kentucky could compete pretty well
in the AEC for football, right.
Speaker 5 (11:36):
Champion, Gelda, Yeah, I mean I think Kentucky football, if
they got really good one you're could possibly own the ACC,
you know, and win the ACC. We're not gonna win
the SEC. Just football.
Speaker 4 (11:47):
Yeah, I'm going to the Big Ten.
Speaker 3 (11:50):
Part of it's the money, but then part of it
is also the Big Ten has a decent mix of
a lot of games our fans could drive to.
Speaker 4 (11:57):
Right, you could drive to Purdue.
Speaker 3 (12:00):
Indiana, Illinois, Ohio State, Michigan, State, Michigan. You could drive
to a ton of those games. Then you get a
once a year trip out to LA if you want
to go for USC and UCLA get a trip to
New York to play against Rutgers. And I think it
would be hard to win the Big Ten. But I
(12:20):
actually think it's Indiana showed last year Drew it's easier
to get right under the powers in the Big Ten
than it is in the SEC. So I think it's
very hard to beat Ohio State, Michigan regularly, but you
can rise to third or fourth in the Big Ten.
And we've seen almost every school in the Big Ten
do it at some point. So I feel like we
(12:42):
would have. We might not be able to win the
way Big Ten, but we could get to the point
that we're like knocking on the door for the twelfth
playoff spot in the Big Ten easier than we could
in the SEC.
Speaker 7 (12:51):
Yeah, and it was a close call for me. I
completely forgot about USC and UCLA. You might have talked
me back into the Big Ten on a California trip. Yeah,
And then Ruggers.
Speaker 4 (12:58):
You could go up there in New York. You want
to go to you love New York.
Speaker 7 (13:02):
I can I can go to New York, Monta. I
don't want to go to I don't have to go
to Ruggords.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
Okay, fair enough, what's your second question?
Speaker 10 (13:08):
Second question is, so, if if Nike signs a kid
out of high school, what is the parameters as far
as like, how can you even represent a school, like
a rebalker under arm or Adidas in college, Like, how
does that even work in a Nike contract?
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Well, I mean, I think what happens. There's this happens.
Occasionally a kid signs a Nike deal. He personally wears
Nike shoes and then the uniform is just Adidas and
they just like get through it. But he personally wears
Nike schools like you, I mean, you watch Kentucky games.
The days of everyone on the team wearing the same shoe,
those days long past, and players basically get to wear
(13:45):
whatever shoe they want. But the uniform, it is the
case even a Nike athlete would have to wear Adidas
logo on their uniform, and I think the honestly, the
shoe company.
Speaker 4 (13:53):
Just looks the other way. Gotcha appreciate to call, But
I have heard.
Speaker 3 (13:59):
I think it was that Auburn that some player came
ryan and he was you know, it's an under armored school.
And he was not able, Like he said, you can't
sell my jerseys with my name on it in the back.
So Auburn was not able to sell his jerseys because
of that.
Speaker 8 (14:16):
See, it's gonna get complicated for that exact reason. Now
they represent Adidas and they go to an under armoured school.
How do you gonna handle their merchandise with their name
on it their representation.
Speaker 4 (14:24):
Yeah, tell me about Stockton Mortgage.
Speaker 6 (14:26):
Doctor Margin.
Speaker 8 (14:27):
I'm so glad you asked. This is the time to
celebrate Stockton Mortgage. We're celebrating Shady rad So I thought
that it's a beautiful day. The sun's out.
Speaker 4 (14:34):
This is it.
Speaker 3 (14:35):
So when you when the sun's out, you're like, I
want to celebrate a mortgage company.
Speaker 8 (14:38):
When the sun comes out. The first thing pomps in
my head. I'm thinking about Stockton Mortgage. I want to
refinance my home loan. I'm gonna go buy a new home.
I'm gonna do a heelock cash out refinance. And I
know Stocking Margine can do it all for me. So
give them a call. They're easy to find. They're all
across the state. There in every town in America. Well
not really, but there. You can represent any town in America.
Stockton Mortgage, Stockton Mortgage, Stockton. You remember that when you
(15:01):
wake up, thinks Stockton Mortgage. A lot you done MLS
eighty five ninety out in Linder, A lot of people were.
Speaker 4 (15:06):
Very impressed with your preamble ability.
Speaker 3 (15:09):
Oh really, Oh yeah, because a lot of people said
that five minutes where you talked about going to the
cemetery as a child and doing that and and you said, oh,
it's wonderful, and that was weird, and then you combined
it with like this savant like knowledge of the preamble.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
A lot of people said that was a classic five
minute Ryan Lemon moment.
Speaker 8 (15:27):
Well, it was from the Schoolhouse Rock the little jingle.
He grew up with it. When you watch Saturday Morning cartoons,
you were drilled in about the Schoolhouse Rock commercial.
Speaker 4 (15:35):
What other things do you remember from that?
Speaker 6 (15:38):
Don't sing I'm just a bill. Yes, I'm only bill.
Speaker 3 (15:42):
I appreciate the call. If I'm not said, We'll take
a break wreck doon brak waterbag it is, can tell
you smarts radio Ay if I'm nine two eight oh
twenty two eighty seven, text machine send seven two, send
seven four five two five four one person rights Matt
if KSR. Was doing a road trip across the country.
(16:04):
Besides yourself, who would you feel the most comfortable driving?
Not me, right, certainly, not Ryan. He's last, Mario is
next to last. Uh, I'd be fine with Drew or Shannon.
I'd probably pick Shannon. I feel like he's more focused.
But uh, but Drew would be right there. I'd be
fine with both of them.
Speaker 7 (16:23):
Probably Billy too. I would not Ryan. There's zero time
I would like.
Speaker 6 (16:27):
I wouldn't want myself to drive myself.
Speaker 5 (16:29):
Yeah no, yeah, you get a ticket for sure. I
am a spokesman before the could Tucky Department on Highway Safety.
I just want to throw that in there.
Speaker 3 (16:35):
So yes, that's a uh, we're here at Shady Rais.
Go to shady raise dot com. Fifty percent off the
next forty what or thirty eight minutes here on the show,
we're gonna give away some more stuff and you can
go on ryn shady rays dot com. When versuon rights,
Matt Bruce Pearl has been going on political podcast talking
about how much he dislikes Obama and how much he
likes Trump. What do you think would have happened if
(16:56):
he did that here? Well, I really wanted him here.
I don't think he could do that here. I mean
it would be it would be hypocritical for me to
say he can't say what he thinks. But I don't
understand how he's doing that. And he expects, like doesn't
think it'll have an impact on his recruiting. I mean,
(17:18):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (17:18):
If you all know Luther Campbell, who was the.
Speaker 3 (17:23):
Former rapper, he now advises a lot of players, and
especially the ones in Miami in the South, and I
saw him on a podcast last night say I'm telling
all my players, nobody goes to Bruce Pearl again. Now,
I don't know if that will happen or not. If
the money's right, probably they'll go.
Speaker 4 (17:38):
But I'm surprised.
Speaker 7 (17:40):
I'm surprised.
Speaker 4 (17:41):
But it may also be the case Drue.
Speaker 3 (17:43):
He just wants to run for Senate and this is
like his last year anyway, And if that's the case,
then it may make sense. But like I think, I
think coaches should be able to say what they think.
But I also think if you say what you think,
it's gonna have an impact on recruiting. I would think,
so I don't. I'm a little surprised, are you.
Speaker 7 (18:00):
Yeah, And you know you're representing the whole university. It
just seems you could divide your audience whatever side you're on,
when really no one's making you do that. But obviously
he feels very strongly people say that to me too, So,
I mean, you're representing you and you know, but he's
working for Auburn that is a public university.
Speaker 3 (18:19):
And even though I dislike almost everything he says, I
do think he has a right to say it.
Speaker 7 (18:24):
I'm just surprised if you're a basketball coach.
Speaker 3 (18:26):
And you recruit predominantly African American kids to come out
and say Obama is the worst. I just it would
seem to me that would be a risky thing to do.
But I guess Ryan he thinks it'll be fine. They
didn't do as well in recruiting this year. This was
the worst year they've had, so I don't know. But again,
he may be just like wanting to go run for offs.
This will be his last year anyway, And I would say,
(18:48):
I hope so so that they're not good anymore.
Speaker 8 (18:50):
Well, if he's setting himself up for that and his
son Stephen like next in line, I mean, he's not
setting him the very good presidence for his son.
Speaker 4 (18:58):
I think it's yeah, is this I'm gonna be the
next coach?
Speaker 8 (19:00):
If they said that, I don't know if they've said it,
but I think that's kind of maybe the thought.
Speaker 3 (19:04):
Yeah, well, what do you think, Shannon, Uh, I think,
what do you think woud happen if you was at UK? Well,
let's say he was doing all that at UK with
our platform, with our spotlight, I would get a lot
more attention.
Speaker 5 (19:15):
Yeah, I wouldn't like it. Like if Pope we're saying
those type of things, I wouldn't like that at all.
I mean, you could say what you want as a
as a coach, but you've got to be prepared to
deal with the consequences and you're gonna see those I
think in the recruits.
Speaker 3 (19:25):
Yeah, I don't know if enough if people have seen
like he's He's said a lot here in the in
the last few days. Who's up next?
Speaker 9 (19:31):
Brandon is up next?
Speaker 4 (19:33):
Brandon? Go ahead, Brandon.
Speaker 7 (19:36):
So I've been doing some really deep thinking on hold on,
let me speak.
Speaker 4 (19:43):
Yeah, that would be a good start.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
Let's think about that first.
Speaker 4 (19:45):
Yeah.
Speaker 12 (19:47):
Yeah.
Speaker 13 (19:47):
So as far as Travis Perry goes in any of
our future transfer basketball players, I don't know, unless some
bad blood has happened and and they've you know, Donna's dirty,
I don't necessarily think a boo is is good. It
sometimes will fire up the players. The psyche may change
on them to where it backfires on us, such as
(20:09):
our Arkansas game last year where we saw d J.
Speaker 12 (20:12):
Wagner play out of his You know what, So I
think a happy medium between a boo and a class
which would obviously be supporting them, which we can't do
that anymore.
Speaker 13 (20:23):
It's silence and sulms down.
Speaker 3 (20:26):
But you can't nobody, Yeah, nobody, Like silence doesn't work
collectively because if I appreciate the call, if everybody's silent,
then any idiot who makes a sound gets in a
larger platform. I I don't think Travis is gonna get booed,
except I think the students will boo him. Drew, do
you agree with that the students are boo him? Because
students are the ones who they're boo him.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
I don't think the rest of the crowd will.
Speaker 7 (20:48):
And I said this about cal in Arkansas. I don't care.
I think heck boo everybody. They're coming to Reperena to
beat your team. In that circumstance, they're not there for
you to have a good look. I'm getting an applause back here.
They're there to ruin your day. Why not boo him
if you want to boom? Right?
Speaker 3 (21:04):
What do you think what player do you think got
the loudest booze in the last I don't know, twenty
five thirty years at Ropperena, I have the answer, But
let's see who you think. Who do you think got
the loudest booze of any opposing player?
Speaker 6 (21:18):
Not coach joke, Kim Noah.
Speaker 4 (21:20):
That's exactly what I was gonna.
Speaker 6 (21:21):
Yeah, he's got to be.
Speaker 7 (21:22):
A in the eruption zone for him. I gave him
the finger at every opportunity and he gave it back.
I mean you gave him, we all did, and he
gave it back often. I mean you just threw birds
up at him the whole eruption zone, and like he
doubled us back. And there was a hatred for Noah that.
Speaker 4 (21:38):
I don't know.
Speaker 7 (21:38):
We'll see again.
Speaker 5 (21:39):
Our boy Doug got in trouble for that, and you
just you're just throwing him up left and right.
Speaker 7 (21:43):
You had to be there early, and he's warming up
and stretching and he's jawing and we're joll So that's part.
Speaker 3 (21:48):
Of it is for people who don't go to a
lot of UK games, the opposing team warms up in
front of the UK students and that is when the
trash talking occurs.
Speaker 4 (21:59):
And you're right.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
I was gonna say Joe kim Noah by far number one. Yeah,
I was gonna say Matt Wash number two.
Speaker 8 (22:05):
He's gotta be up there, Marshall Henderson.
Speaker 3 (22:07):
And you literally, you guys, that was my That was
my three. Was was Joe kim Noah, Matt Wash and
Marshall Henderson. I think those are the three that I've
seen get the worst individual.
Speaker 7 (22:18):
We camped out all night at twenty four hours on
the pavement outside Rup just to go in and boot
Joe kim Noah. Now he won the game and that sucked,
but that that hour before the game, it was pretty
vulgar down there from everyone, not just me came back.
Speaker 4 (22:31):
Can you think of another one? Ryan over there? Those
three are the ones that stick out.
Speaker 8 (22:34):
The big dude from Tennessee that is now on the
sec net Ron Yeah, Ron slayh yeah, Ron Slay's a
good one. Andrew de Clerk, he named the other guys.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
Clerk that's back in the nineties. Yeah, yeah, Andrew de Clerk.
And what was the other guy's name, demeat Hook, Dmitrie Hill.
Speaker 6 (22:51):
Everybody were naming her former former floida place.
Speaker 3 (22:53):
It is interesting Hwy for Teddy Dupay. Yes, yeah, Jason Williams,
no one who who we booed? And then he just
lives up us Up and then he got kicked off
the team.
Speaker 4 (23:06):
The next day.
Speaker 3 (23:07):
You remember that lit us Up had like thirty three
and then the next day got kicked off the team.
Speaker 8 (23:13):
Nobody remembers Cameron Mills had like thirty that game, and
nobody remembers it.
Speaker 4 (23:17):
No, it doesn't. But joke Kim nooah is the easy answer.
Speaker 3 (23:19):
If I'm nine two eighth twenty two eighty seven, we
are here at Shady Ray's. Thirty more minutes to get
half off. We'll be ready back to Kentucky Sports Radio. Quarterback,
Tucky Sports Radio, Hair Live, Shady Raise, tangle free aviators.
They don't get stuck in your hair, color rush lenses.
It's all here at Shady Rays Shady Rays dot Com.
Fifty percent off for the rest of the show. We
(23:40):
got a great crowd here. We've been doing drawings. Seems
like the kids keep winning. Young guy right here got
it sunglasses?
Speaker 4 (23:46):
You like those? Yeah?
Speaker 3 (23:48):
So you know what I feel good about the future.
I had not one, but two kids come up to me.
One kid brought my book and asked me to sign it.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Where was that? Right?
Speaker 12 (23:59):
Here?
Speaker 4 (23:59):
You did? Who won the sunglasses?
Speaker 3 (24:01):
And then another one uh came and said he just
finished reading it yesterday. Whoa, he's like fourteen, he's read
more books than you have.
Speaker 8 (24:08):
Hell, it took me the entire length of COVID to
think to finally get your book read.
Speaker 6 (24:13):
But I got it done.
Speaker 4 (24:14):
Did you finish it?
Speaker 11 (24:14):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (24:15):
Yeah, Oh that's very nice of you. Well you're you're
that's great.
Speaker 3 (24:18):
I'm so to get ready for the uh our NFL show,
which is going to be called Cover zero NFL.
Speaker 4 (24:26):
Drew and Mario and Billy and I.
Speaker 3 (24:29):
We have to do a test show, okay, So we're
doing two episodes a week. One episode is reacting to
the games after they happen on Sunday night. So they
want us to practice reacting to the games. So we're
reacting to week one of the preseason.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
Shannon.
Speaker 5 (24:45):
Yeah, oh yeah, you had a tie.
Speaker 4 (24:48):
Yeah, well that.
Speaker 3 (24:49):
Was the game I got signed. So what I did
is we assigned Drew, Billy, Mario and I. We each
took four games, and last night one of my games
was on Raiders Seahawks, which is considering I gave the assignments.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
I should have given myself a better game.
Speaker 3 (25:05):
It was awful and it ended in a tie, and
uh it was in NFL preseason, Drew is really a
miserable thing to watch. I'm not gonna say this on
the test episode since the NFL is our are our
bosses for this, but it is not fun to watch.
Speaker 7 (25:20):
I don't want Roderdell calling us up saying they're like
that preseason. It is a grind, especially you know, the
starters sit pretty early in the game and you're getting
guys trying to make the team. But it is I like,
like when the Titans play, I get my cam Ward debut,
it's the rookies that were drafted in the first round
or what makes the Jalen bill Roe played and Asher Sante.
Speaker 3 (25:40):
Uh but uh, Mario, are you enjoy are you gonna
you think you're gonna you're enjoyed watching NFL preseason? Well
not a big NFL guy before this, Yeah, Mario it
was Mario is still waiting for a new episode of
Urinating Tree. But uh, but yeah, they're they right, not
the most fun. I don't know people who get into
(26:01):
that the preseason I don't totally understand it.
Speaker 8 (26:03):
I can't stand to watch it. I mean, I watched
a little bit of the Bengals last night just because
it was on. But my goodness, they used to play
four preseason at least they cut it down to three.
I don't know why they play it anyway. And he
said starters never play well.
Speaker 5 (26:14):
Last night didn't It was it the Bengals that left
in their first ring for the entire first quarter?
Speaker 4 (26:18):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Speaker 7 (26:20):
Am I a psycho for betting on it?
Speaker 4 (26:22):
Yes?
Speaker 7 (26:22):
Good tomorrow?
Speaker 4 (26:25):
Uh?
Speaker 3 (26:25):
Seth McGowan is our is a running back that you're
gonna hear a lot about.
Speaker 4 (26:30):
Probably gonna be our starter. Uh. Where did he play
last year?
Speaker 7 (26:34):
New Mexico State, New Mexico, New Mexico, Mexico.
Speaker 4 (26:37):
I think.
Speaker 3 (26:38):
But his story is an interesting one. Uh, there's a
long profile about it on KSR. Basically, he was a
highly tatted recruit coming out of high school, went to
Oklahoma and then he and some of his teammates got arrested.
They basically stole money, jewelry, I think, marijuana.
Speaker 7 (26:58):
Yes, armed robbery.
Speaker 4 (26:59):
It was an arm robbery, got kicked out of school.
Speaker 3 (27:02):
He was facing fifteen years in prison, ended up getting probation.
He says he's turned his life around and now he
will be the starting running back at Kentucky this year.
When you hear a story like that, Ryan, because I
mean this happened when he was eighteen, it was twenties,
it was twenty twenty one, he's like eighteen years old.
Speaker 4 (27:21):
Do you like that path of redemption?
Speaker 3 (27:24):
And you know, I have to say I didn't even
know about it till I read the story on KSR.
Speaker 8 (27:28):
You know, we all make stupid mistakes when we're eighteen,
nineteen years old, tough, we're really not proud.
Speaker 7 (27:33):
Of armed Robbery's a big mistake.
Speaker 5 (27:34):
I mean, that's not all of us do that.
Speaker 8 (27:36):
But when I think, you know, the Stoops connections in Oklahoma,
they checked it out, and I think they fail. I
got a good report on this kid, like, you know,
he made a mistake, he's trying to turn his life around.
I think they talked to the folks in New Mexico
also got good reports on him. So all intensive purposes,
he's learned his lesson and maybe he deserved I think
he does deserve a second chance.
Speaker 5 (27:52):
I like a good, you know, redemption story. I believe
in giving people a second chance. But when you're talking
about being disciplined and that being a focal of your team,
I hesitate to I would hesitate to bring in somebody
with a track record like that.
Speaker 3 (28:05):
But sometimes you have a guy who's been facing a
long time like that and he can say, hey, if
you go down the wrong path, here's what I.
Speaker 4 (28:13):
Was looking at.
Speaker 3 (28:14):
Yeah, I mean, you know, they used to when I
was a kid, they had those scared straight things where
people from prison would come and yell at kids and
be like, I'm gonna beat you up, and it would
scare me through the television. So I'm not saying that's
what Seth McGowan is doing, But what.
Speaker 4 (28:27):
Do you think.
Speaker 7 (28:28):
Get ready, we're gonna love Seth McGowan. I didn't know
where he would fit in in the backfield. I thought
Dante Daldell was locked in at running back.
Speaker 4 (28:36):
One.
Speaker 7 (28:37):
You got will Cox Patterson back after going to two
open practices, and watch that guy run, even just drills.
He is planting that foot in the ground and running
with a purpose.
Speaker 4 (28:46):
So you think he's running back one.
Speaker 7 (28:49):
He hadn't doubt. I don't know how to do it.
Doubt That was maybe a little power. We're gonna the're
gonna use both of them a lot. They're one and two,
whatever the order. But that he looks like a pro
running back, and then talking to him, he has the
absolute right attitude. I mean, he knows what he did.
He had a huge opportunity Oklahoma completely lost it and
it was a long way back. Even had a year
where he didn't play. He went to Juco, then he
went to New Mexico in UK's running back coach recruited
(29:11):
into Oklahoma, So there's that connection too. He was at
Oklahoma with him when he messed up, giving him the
second chance. He seems to have his head on straight
and he is going to be a good running back
this year. I can't wait to see him.
Speaker 4 (29:21):
You got me excited.
Speaker 7 (29:22):
He also has a very intimidating grill. The you know,
patil Oh. Yeah it's a good look.
Speaker 4 (29:27):
Yeah I don't.
Speaker 3 (29:29):
I don't think I've ever met anybody with the grill
that I wasn't at least a little incontipulated.
Speaker 7 (29:33):
He has a great attitude, though it's not it doesn't
look like, you know, he's putting on a show. I
mean that dude knows how bad I have had.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
People tell me that he and Dan l will be
like a three upgrade from what we did last year,
which you remember, I is not run the ball now.
I was excited about our offensive line after all the
Shiah Tate and all the new guys, and then Jeff
Pecora was on Tom Leach this morning, Tom Leach. Jeff
was like, I am so excited about this team. We're
(30:00):
gonna be so much better than next year. And Tom said,
is there anything you worry about? And Jeff of Correl
said the offensive line? And I just went, no, not again.
Speaker 4 (30:09):
Does that concern you?
Speaker 7 (30:11):
Well?
Speaker 8 (30:11):
I think it's he's maybe having a show me attitude.
I think that the talent is there, but they've not
done it yet in the SEC. You know, Pete's a big,
strong guy. He's not gone up against defensive ends in
the SEC yet. You know, Farmer and Jagger back from
last year's team, but everybody else are kind of.
Speaker 6 (30:25):
Some new faces. So I think it's but.
Speaker 4 (30:27):
That was some we thought that was that was the
thing I was feeling good about.
Speaker 7 (30:30):
Let's the offensive line be a strength.
Speaker 5 (30:32):
If the offensive line isn't good, this team doesn't win
many games. They have to be good especials.
Speaker 8 (30:36):
They're gonna run the ball man. They gotta be good.
Speaker 7 (30:38):
Yeah, the starting five will be good. The question is
if one of them gets hurt subbing in. There's not
a ton of depth behind Jagger, who's done everything right
except there's still some snapping issues. Wibberley, the backup seems
a little small for the SEC.
Speaker 4 (30:51):
He's tiny.
Speaker 7 (30:52):
So really the main five need to stay as healthy
as possible and have a good name.
Speaker 3 (30:55):
If you see a guy get rolled up during the game,
just pray to the Lord he gets back on the field,
because I do think our backup will be a step back.
Speaker 4 (31:03):
Who's next?
Speaker 9 (31:04):
Adam is up next?
Speaker 4 (31:05):
Adam? Go ahead, Adam.
Speaker 12 (31:08):
Hey, Matt.
Speaker 11 (31:09):
So we are currently on the way to Pittsburgh right now.
Speaker 4 (31:14):
Nice.
Speaker 14 (31:15):
So we are just past Washington Courthouse up in Ohio,
and we want.
Speaker 11 (31:21):
To know if you wants your three recommendations for food.
Speaker 3 (31:26):
Oh, well, you know I've only I've only been there
a couple times. I don't really know, to be honest
with you. Here's what I'll do though, If people who
are listening who have Pittsburgh food recommendation, send it to me.
And uh, if you'll send a tweet or text the
text machine share.
Speaker 7 (31:40):
I'll share them with you. How's that goya get permedi brothers?
That's their parate brothers.
Speaker 4 (31:44):
Is like the famous thing. Look for three really tall people.
Speaker 3 (31:48):
I'm one of them at the game. There's not that
many people will be at the games and come say hello.
Speaker 13 (31:53):
So yeah, I will be in a UK hoodie at
some point, so you can't miss me.
Speaker 3 (31:58):
It's a little hot for that, even for me. But
I'll see you then appreciate the call. And we have
a very tall group going, so we should be able
to eat spot.
Speaker 8 (32:05):
You're yeah, you're one of the small guys in your.
Speaker 3 (32:07):
Grip, got six six six four six three six feet,
so it should be a pretty good group.
Speaker 9 (32:11):
Who's next, Patriot? Papa is up next?
Speaker 4 (32:15):
What's going on?
Speaker 7 (32:16):
Papa going?
Speaker 11 (32:18):
Guys?
Speaker 4 (32:20):
I'm doing all right? What's up there?
Speaker 8 (32:21):
Man?
Speaker 4 (32:23):
You know, it's unique.
Speaker 11 (32:27):
Theory of conspiracy theory with the rigs I've watched all season.
I'm not one of these guys that always blames referees
umpires officials.
Speaker 4 (32:37):
But you're about to blame my refereesis. Yeah.
Speaker 11 (32:41):
Yeah, the the Red seemed to get a really bad
deal on some ball and strike calls. Man, I mean
Schemes threw one to day La Cruz last night that
was six inches off the plate. The guy calls it
a strike and schemed grins.
Speaker 5 (32:57):
The score was seven to.
Speaker 11 (33:01):
No.
Speaker 4 (33:01):
It does it does matter, I mean to be fair.
Speaker 3 (33:03):
Sorry, it was seven to nothing. We we didn't we
we weren't.
Speaker 5 (33:07):
Really it.
Speaker 11 (33:09):
Was seven to nothing late that The issue is, yeah, no,
it's not. It's not even that I'm talking conspiracy theories.
Speaker 7 (33:19):
Okay, you're long, all year long.
Speaker 11 (33:22):
We are getting these marginal calls that go against us.
Speaker 3 (33:26):
But are you are you suggesting in Major League Baseball
is trying to cheat the Reds to help the pirates.
Speaker 11 (33:36):
I'm suggesting that Reds in the playoffs might not be
as good a thing as maybe, you know, a Podreis
or a Dodgers or a Cubs or a.
Speaker 4 (33:46):
Brie might be right. You might be right.
Speaker 3 (33:48):
But I also think, and I appreciate the call that
if you're major League Baseball, you've got this electric superstar
in Cincinnati. The kids love that, Like when he goes play,
people go crazy, Ellie. And if you market him, you
got judging o Tawny Ryan and he could be next. Right,
(34:09):
So they don't major League Baseball doesn't want a cheat
to keep that guy away.
Speaker 4 (34:12):
That's a guy they need to actually get some attention.
Speaker 6 (34:15):
Yeah, they want to promote guys like that.
Speaker 3 (34:16):
I mean, they put the Reds in that game at
Bristol for him. The Braves are a marquee franchise. They
put the Reds there just for him, so clearly they
want to try to get him out.
Speaker 5 (34:26):
So this guy thinks that Major League Baseball wants Milwaukee
in the playoffs. The Brews really, because they're leading the
Central right now.
Speaker 3 (34:32):
Yeah, I don't know if I totally agree with that.
Give me your Draft Kings pick for the weekend three
Reds Pirates game. Who you got DraftKings bet five? Get
two hundred dollars, Ryan Lemon, what will the series be?
Speaker 6 (34:44):
Reds win one of three? So they win tomorrow night?
Speaker 4 (34:48):
Shut your mouth?
Speaker 7 (34:49):
What do you got for the Reds Red sweep?
Speaker 4 (34:53):
That would be nice. I'm gonna go two of three?
Speaker 7 (34:55):
What about you, Shannon, Pirates sweep sweep?
Speaker 5 (34:58):
They they're playing good at least.
Speaker 3 (35:02):
You want you want to put a bet on that?
You want to put a bet on the no sweep?
You give me, I'll give you odds.
Speaker 8 (35:08):
Sorry, you know those out Hunter greens out who they
throwing Chase.
Speaker 3 (35:12):
Throwing our best? Uh best, we're probably our three worst pictures.
Do you tell everybody what you're doing tonight?
Speaker 15 (35:17):
Uh?
Speaker 5 (35:18):
Okay, we are opening up Forever Clear at the Manchester
Music Hall. There's still Manchester Manchester Music Hall dot com.
Get your tickets, come on out.
Speaker 4 (35:26):
Are you like a selfie guy?
Speaker 3 (35:28):
Like when you go when you go open Forever Clear,
do you look at that guy and go, hey, this
is awesome.
Speaker 4 (35:32):
Young Shannon. The dude would have never thought he would
be with this guy.
Speaker 7 (35:35):
Do you take pictures? Are you too cool for you? No?
Speaker 5 (35:37):
I didn't. When we opened up for Third Eye Blind,
we didn't even get to talk to the band. They
were in a They didn't well, we didn't really approach them.
They were kind of there and I was like, I'm
not gonna go up at pill.
Speaker 4 (35:46):
They didn't.
Speaker 5 (35:48):
No, they didn't care. I don't even think they heard
our set. They probably didn't even care.
Speaker 3 (35:54):
See but that's kind of rude, Like I think they
I don't know what the anaquette is, but if you're
the open for Third Eye Blind, I think Third Eye
Blind should at least come and say hey, thank you
for opening.
Speaker 5 (36:03):
I can tell you they didn't. We'll see if ever
clear or nice or tonight and may are you going
to go.
Speaker 3 (36:07):
Thank so with that in mind the people opening for
you tonight, yeah, are you gonna go thank them? Yeah?
Speaker 5 (36:13):
Absolutely, talk to them.
Speaker 4 (36:14):
What's their name?
Speaker 5 (36:15):
I don't know, but we're gonna meet them tonight.
Speaker 4 (36:18):
Good for you An twenty two eighty seven.
Speaker 3 (36:21):
We will take a break and come back for the
final segment here at the Summit.
Speaker 4 (36:24):
This is Kentucky Sports Radio.
Speaker 7 (36:27):
Welcome back.
Speaker 3 (36:28):
It is the final segment here Kentucky Sports Radio at
the Summit.
Speaker 4 (36:31):
Shady Rays.
Speaker 3 (36:32):
Thank you to Shady Raise for having us out independent
American owned companies start right here in Kentucky. They got
the best prices for sunglasses, great selection. It's gotten even
better since we started. I was well, I might have
been Shady Ray's first advertiser and it has continued to
grow and they only have more choices. And appreciate everybody
coming out. We're gonna give away some more sunglasses. Uh
here at the end, and thanks everybody at the summit.
(36:54):
One person writes, Matt, by the logic you said you
should check.
Speaker 4 (36:58):
Thank Shannon and Billy every day for opening up on
the pre show.
Speaker 5 (37:01):
That's true. Yeah, where's our thanks?
Speaker 4 (37:04):
Yes, thank you Shannon and Billy for working up.
Speaker 7 (37:08):
I mean that's I guess that's a fair logic.
Speaker 4 (37:11):
I guess that's a fair analogy.
Speaker 3 (37:12):
A fun nine two eight, twenty two eighty seven, one
person rights, Matt. If you were to say one game
where we'll win by the most points of the good
games this year, that's an odd question.
Speaker 4 (37:24):
Which one would it be? I think we will.
Speaker 3 (37:30):
I think will stop Indiana. I ain't good at home.
I don't think they're very good. That's a double digit
win against Indiana at home. What about you? It's a
very good pick. Rupperno will be going crazy Indiana. I mean,
they haven't been good in forever. Just to be different,
I'll say the Gonzaga game, even though like that they've rooted.
Speaker 7 (37:52):
Yeah, and that big dude that's killed us two years
in a row has played well. But I just think
the Nashville environment will be full of Kentucky.
Speaker 4 (37:59):
Actually, I like that. I wish I thought of that.
What about you?
Speaker 8 (38:01):
You guys took my two answers, So I guess, just
to be different, maybe I'll go to Michigan State.
Speaker 3 (38:06):
Yeah, I mean that game We're used to that game
being the first or second game of the year. It's
actually now gonna be like the fourth game of the year.
So we'll have played a few in the Champions Class
in New York. We'll probably be the early game, which
we're normally not because Duke Kansas will be the main game,
so we'll probably play early.
Speaker 4 (38:23):
So I like that one. What about you?
Speaker 5 (38:24):
I'll go with North Carolina.
Speaker 3 (38:26):
So we think we're gonna win all of them. Yeah,
what's the most likely game we lose this year? Uh,
non SEC of the non conference game? What's the most
likely lost? Because we know we'll lose a couple of them.
Speaker 5 (38:36):
St John Rick.
Speaker 7 (38:39):
Rick's got a good team. Pope's gonna be looking at
his coach. It's gonna be a little bit of a
you think you grasshopper John. I mean, I'm not surrendering
to Saint John's, but of the teams, I think they're
the most likely to beat Kentucky.
Speaker 4 (38:51):
See, I'm gonna.
Speaker 3 (38:52):
Say Louisville because we're playing on their floor and it's
gonna it's the only true road game we have during
that So as much as I don't want to say it,
I think the answer is probably Louisville.
Speaker 4 (39:03):
What about you.
Speaker 8 (39:04):
Yeah, I was gonna say Louisville because it's so early
in the in the season, and for them, it.
Speaker 3 (39:10):
Is they're a new team too, and then and and
they're gonna be rying on freshman even more than we are,
probably so, but it's it's just it's true. Road games
are harder than neutral court games. It's just our generally speaking.
Speaker 7 (39:22):
So uh yeah, we're blowing out Florida. We're beating We're.
Speaker 3 (39:28):
Talking about football. We're going eleven to one. I'm not
worried about that one.
Speaker 9 (39:31):
What's sext got? Joe up next?
Speaker 7 (39:34):
Joe, go ahead, Joe.
Speaker 14 (39:36):
I'll make a quick Matt. Hopefully mccawwin will have a
great year running the football. But mostly Matt he has
to be able to block somebody too. So hopefully our
tight ends and our running back will block somebody this
year and we'll have a great year in football. And
and my bold prediction will play in Nebraska and Dame Key,
(39:57):
who is Ryan living going to pool for Nebraska or
thank you goodbye.
Speaker 3 (40:02):
That's an interesting question. If we played Nebraska in a
bowl game, what would you do?
Speaker 8 (40:07):
I would not go and watch the game in the
basement of my house with nobody around me.
Speaker 4 (40:11):
You would not go.
Speaker 6 (40:13):
I probably wouldn't. I'd be afraid to go.
Speaker 7 (40:14):
I can't believe you wont pick Kentucky the one guy.
Speaker 3 (40:17):
You say, I hope Dane gets catches, but I want
Kentucky to win.
Speaker 4 (40:20):
What's wrong with you?
Speaker 6 (40:22):
I I love Dane.
Speaker 7 (40:24):
I want to Music City Bowl is not gonna change, just.
Speaker 4 (40:27):
Like I mean, he can have two hundred yards and
we still win.
Speaker 8 (40:33):
So when he catches the ball, I'm gonna be like clapping.
Then people in Kentucky, man are gonna be throwing oranges
at me.
Speaker 7 (40:38):
I don't think people.
Speaker 4 (40:38):
Would throw engines.
Speaker 3 (40:39):
But if you're hoping Nebraska wins, I'm gonna throw a
corn cob in your face.
Speaker 6 (40:43):
No, I don't want Nebraska win.
Speaker 8 (40:45):
I want Dane to have a great season, get a
high pick in the NFL.
Speaker 6 (40:48):
But yeah, I would pick Kentucky to win.
Speaker 7 (40:49):
And answer It took three times to get that answer. Yeah,
I pray that doesn't happen in front of all these
people wearing UK gear. That's it have been a quick connect.
Speaker 3 (41:00):
Everybody, just real quick so we can practice for Travis
Perry boo him really quick. I'm just kidding about Travis
Perry Park. But you just I can't believe you would
stutter about that.
Speaker 4 (41:12):
What's next?
Speaker 9 (41:13):
Jackie? Is next?
Speaker 4 (41:14):
Jackie? I got about a minute. Go ahead, Okay, So.
Speaker 15 (41:18):
When you're in Pittsburgh, go to Oakmont. You can drive
by the Oakmont Country Club and me at a restaurant. Okay,
so I'll text you all my favorite restaurants on the drive, Okay,
stopping Pickerington and eat at the Mexington restaurant that's right
off the exit.
Speaker 4 (41:36):
It's called Mexington.
Speaker 15 (41:38):
No Pickerington, p I C K E R.
Speaker 3 (41:43):
Do you just want me to go to the Mexican
restaurant there? It sounds like Middlesborough. Can we go to
the Mexican restaurant?
Speaker 4 (41:48):
Okay?
Speaker 15 (41:50):
All right, so those are my recommendations.
Speaker 3 (41:52):
I'm a picture by all right, Well, thank you very much.
Well I didn't like that that last part. All right,
I hope you have. You are on vacation week. I'm
on location next week. Yeah, so next week it'll be
just me, Drew and Shannon. History says that we usually
kind of get a little obscure.
Speaker 4 (42:08):
During that time, Drew, So I'm looking forward to it.
Speaker 3 (42:11):
Monday morning at eleven o'clock, we will put on sale
the tickets for the Listener opening party at Ksbar, so
they'll go on to sale at eleven.
Speaker 4 (42:23):
I'm not even gonna put it up on social.
Speaker 3 (42:25):
Media till twelve, so we'll put it well, we'll probably
put it on the bond, that bridge page or something.
Speaker 4 (42:31):
We'll make sure to get it.
Speaker 3 (42:32):
But just so you know, if you want to come,
and we're selling them in groups of four, so you
need to get a group of people. We're selling you
basically a table of four people, but we would love
