Speaker 1 (00:01):
Big old punch right head.
Speaker 2 (00:02):
It's a foot race down to near sideline, across the morning,
across the.
Speaker 1 (00:06):
Thirty go ready for.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
They assist a Central Kentucky Select Chevy Dealers KSR tailgate show.
Speaker 1 (00:19):
Now here's Matt Jones's right.
Speaker 4 (00:22):
It is the Central Kentucky Selects Chevy Dealers KSR pregame show.
Speaker 1 (00:26):
I am Matt Jones.
Speaker 4 (00:28):
Here we are in studio for a road game as
the Cats get ready to go to Appens to take
on the Georgia Bulldogs. It is Matt Jones, Ryan Lemon,
and Drew Franklin and fellas Saturday morning. If there's anything
to get excited about, it's going to get ready for
a two and two Kentucky team on the road against
(00:49):
Georgia's nineteen point underdogs.
Speaker 1 (00:52):
How pumped up are you? I'm pumped. I kind of
feel like that was ESPN Matt to start there, there
was like a yeah, it's like a you got deep
in the stomach there for that intro.
Speaker 4 (01:00):
You got to be excited. Look, it's football time. That's
three of the hedges. No, the hedges.
Speaker 1 (01:05):
Georgia.
Speaker 5 (01:06):
We own them, well, they won the last fifteen in
a row. Yeah, but we own them condo. Okay, I
think we own them. Covering that has gone well. We
have been a good covering team. So eat that dogs,
eat it dogs, it's time to cover.
Speaker 2 (01:22):
The script is awful too, because at this early morning
game on a Saturday, you're playing a Georgia team that
just lost Alabama. And if you get embarrassed today, there's
a bye next week when Midnight Madness starts. It's just horrible,
a horrible script for the UK football program.
Speaker 4 (01:37):
Well, we're gonna we're gonna preview the game. I mean,
I think breaking down the.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
X's and o's, that's our specialty.
Speaker 4 (01:43):
Well, I also just think it's going to lead to
a result of we don't have a lot of matchups
in our favor today.
Speaker 1 (01:50):
I think we maybe have a better punter. I did
my homework.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
I can share some stats throughout the Do you do
you think there's any position we have a we have
a better situation.
Speaker 1 (02:01):
Unlikely outside of specialty.
Speaker 4 (02:03):
I think we've got a better putter. This is like
I would say, a better kicker. He's not missed in
his career. Okay, so this is like classic UK football. Well,
they got a good putter. By the way, this week
was very much taking up for Stoops. He was like,
I hope Kentucky fans appreciate what they have. It kind
of felt like to me when Cali Perry used to
(02:24):
say how good Mark Fox was. Do you think that
there was and by the way, he's now on the staff, Yeah,
do you think there was ever a little bit of that?
Speaker 2 (02:32):
Yes, that's a great comparison because every time we played Georgia.
Here Kyle talking about they got a great coat down there.
He's one of the best thing in the game of
the game right now, and Kirby's trying to spin it
with the same thing with because their buddies, you know,
they they play golf together, their buddies.
Speaker 1 (02:44):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (02:44):
And I mean if you if Kirby only watched Kentucky
play one game a year, we played pretty well.
Speaker 1 (02:48):
Again, that's true.
Speaker 4 (02:50):
So if you if you only watched us play against Georgia,
you might be like, it's pretty impressive, you know, cover streak.
Speaker 1 (02:57):
Yeah, I mean, they've been one of the best teams
in college football in the last five years, but Kentucky's
played him close every time. But once I think it's
last year. Yeah, we gave him.
Speaker 4 (03:07):
The best game that they got the year they were dominant,
won the national anybody, Yeah, and then last year. But
but well, we'll talk about today. I think the thing
a five nine twenty two eighty seven. We didn't take
any calls yesterday because it was my first day back.
We will take some, uh today because we got an hour.
I'll be on for the postgame show whatever time that
(03:28):
ends with Billy. But we got to start I think
with after we went off the area yesterday.
Speaker 1 (03:34):
Cut Man, Jimmy bring it hits cut Man.
Speaker 4 (03:42):
Cutman came with his new camera. Does he have his
own Mario?
Speaker 1 (03:47):
Now?
Speaker 4 (03:48):
I think he has his own Mario out there with
his video and he had a report. I would play
it for you, but this show is only an hour,
and with all of those dramatic pauses, Ryan, I don't
know that we could get through all of it.
Speaker 2 (04:03):
I love color, but the pauses always get me. He's
done it ever since as long as I've not even can.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
I can I do my impression.
Speaker 4 (04:11):
I'm going to report on ry Lemon's new national ad
for Alarm dot Com. But I'm going to do it.
Speaker 2 (04:19):
As if you were doing as if I was the Cutman.
Got you?
Speaker 1 (04:21):
Are you ready? Okay?
Speaker 4 (04:27):
Okay, Jimmy sources are coming in. Ryan Lemon has signed
a national endorsement with Alarm dot Com.
Speaker 1 (05:00):
It's dramatic, that was what it was.
Speaker 2 (05:02):
That the dramatic pauses, I think a little badorsement. It
was a pretty good endorsement, I think his positive.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Did you get nothing for that? Really? No, not even
for the picture.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
They sent me a box full of doggy toys.
Speaker 1 (05:17):
Because because now you're on like social media ads. They
sent you a box full of doggy toys.
Speaker 2 (05:22):
Yes, because because my dogs survived, you know, so they said.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
Your payment for being the face of a national endorsement
cane campaign was a box of doggy toys.
Speaker 2 (05:33):
It was my favorite for them. The Alarm dot Com.
Speaker 1 (05:37):
You paid for it. I didn't, but I mean you
paid for it and doing the ads.
Speaker 2 (05:44):
Just driving there that it took like, I mean, the.
Speaker 4 (05:46):
Reason you had the alarm system, the reason you had
the alarm system was because you were a PA.
Speaker 1 (05:52):
You were an endorser for right.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
Yeah, so you paid for the alarm by doing work
for them.
Speaker 2 (05:59):
Correct.
Speaker 4 (06:00):
So I mean, while it's an awesome thing now it's
a whole new campaign.
Speaker 1 (06:05):
Yeah, So you think you should have got more than.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
Doggy toy on a lot more platforms on social media, TV.
You this ad campaign for you is more than any
ad campaign I've ever been in nationally in terms of
how much they're using it.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
You guys are telling me something I didn't know. I
didn't know how far it was out there yet it was.
Speaker 4 (06:23):
It's on the alarm, dot com, TikTok, Instagram like all
of those pages.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
It's on Uh, this is a big bag you from
Silent Guard, which is the local affiliate of A's. They
sent me a two hundred dollars gift card. So I
got two hundred dollars.
Speaker 4 (06:41):
Do you think like when when they when Sydney Sweeney
did the jeans ad, she asked for two hundred dollars
and a doggy.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
Toy maybe maybe a free pair of jeans. So I got,
you know, I mean, we've got to get.
Speaker 1 (06:53):
Like he's we got to work with him.
Speaker 4 (06:56):
Think you left a lot on that one A national campaign.
Speaker 1 (07:00):
You that's a lot of money. We know the connection
and that you you're very grateful for them.
Speaker 4 (07:05):
I've done one national Just to give you an example,
I've done like one national campaign my entire career and
it was for ESPN and it was a pretty good payday.
And it was like, and I wasn't even the feature,
You're the feature.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
I just felt like I owed him that. And then but.
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Okay, this is like Leonardo DiCaprio doing a Scorsese movie
for free just because he likes him. You're so much
money on all right, Hey, alarm, come, I hope you
enjoy your doggy toys.
Speaker 4 (07:37):
So the cut man, Jimmy Jimmy, he reported is acupunction
that Mark Mark Stoops had gone to Mitch Bardhart last
year and said buy me out, and he sort of
played it like Mark wanted to leave. I don't really
(07:59):
understand the timing of that now, nine ten months after
it happens. So people have asked me all the adult
night since that last night, is that true? And here's
my answer to that. No, well yes, but no, I
mean yes. Do I think Mark Stoops and Mitch Bardart
(08:19):
had a conversation about their future? Yes, it was put
to me, and I think this is the correct way
to put it that Mark Stoops basically said, look, if
you don't want me to be here, you can buy
me out. If you want to fire me, essentially, you
can buy me out. It wasn't like a angry thing.
(08:42):
It was in the conversation. Mark Stoops is different than
say John cal Perry was in that he is stubborn
in his own way, but like he feels the criticism rue,
you know what I mean, Like he kind of gets
he has a sense of the pulse of the fan base.
Do you agree with that? He is not delusional about
what fans think. And I think he knew at the
(09:03):
end of last year people were upset and he was
just like, look, if you don't think this is going
to work, I'll help you come to a resolution. And
I think that resolution was Mark wanted, if not all
of his money, the vast majority of money. I don't
think it was a perfect I know he didn't go
to him and say I want out. He basically said,
if you don't want me here, we can figure out
(09:26):
a path to me not being here. But I'd like
but then Stoops wanted to be here. So that's what
it is. That's been out for a long time. I mean,
if you if you've if you've read, I mean, we've
talked about it on KSR in a in maybe not
that direct way, but that that's so that's how I
believe the whole thing occurred. I do not believe Stoop
said I want to leave by me out. I mean,
(09:46):
I'm almost certainty. I mean, I am certain he didn't
say that. Is that what you think?
Speaker 1 (09:51):
Yeah, I don't know that. I can't remember exact timeline
of Tennessee game, whatever game, but I know at one
point someone had told me that Stoops would listen and
if Barnhart could get close to the buyout. But then
like Barnhart couldn't even get close to the buy out,
and that was like the extent of the conversation. So
maybe Stoops would have taken a.
Speaker 4 (10:08):
Million and went to him and said I want to go,
not directly like that.
Speaker 1 (10:15):
Is what I remember, is just that Stoops would be
willing to take a little bit lesser of that insane
buyout if they could meet somewhere. But they were just
so far apart at the beginning of the conversation when
he didn't really have a conversation.
Speaker 2 (10:29):
You know, I worked with color for twelve years. He
would not put that out there unless he was one
hundred percent certain of his sources. I mean, he just wouldn't.
He's a he's a really good reporter, so I think
there's a lot of truth in it, and I kind
of agree with Drew. I think once they got the
they started negotiating, they realized how far apart they were,
did everything just stop right there?
Speaker 4 (10:48):
So, so you do think that he would that Stoops
went to Bitch Barnhart and said I want to leave.
Speaker 2 (10:54):
I think they had that conversation.
Speaker 4 (10:56):
But that there's a difference between having the conversation, which
I think there's actually no disagreement from people having the conversation. Yeah,
and that Stoops wanted to leave. I think they wanted
to leave. I don't think that's true. But let's say,
if you think that's true, that's a strong statement.
Speaker 1 (11:14):
Do you know or are you no?
Speaker 2 (11:16):
I don't know. I just okay, I trust Cutlers reporting.
I don't think I said, I don't think he put
it out the unless he had it from one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (11:26):
I don't know who when you.
Speaker 2 (11:29):
Put stuff out, I trust you one hundred percent.
Speaker 1 (11:31):
But we're putting different things out.
Speaker 2 (11:33):
I don't know. I feel like they probably just had
a conversation, they talked about a buyout. It was they
were too far apart and the talk stopped right there.
Speaker 4 (11:42):
Well, I would agree with all of those sentences, except
I don't agree with the sentence, and I'm very confident
I don't agree with the sentence that Mark Stoops wanted out.
Speaker 1 (11:53):
I think Mark.
Speaker 4 (11:53):
Stoops was like, if you want to fire me, don't
let it be that it's just the money. If you
want me out, we'll we'll we can talk about a way.
And then I think we all agreed that that number
was very I mean, the reality is Mark is not
going to take a significant amount less than what he's owed.
Speaker 1 (12:11):
He's just not.
Speaker 4 (12:11):
And my question, and even know at the end of
the year we may all agree a party needs to happen.
I'd like to know how many people out there would
take I used to say this about cow Who's going
Who out there has owed forty million, fifty million dollars
and they'll say, yeah, I just give you know, I
don't need it.
Speaker 1 (12:27):
I said this on Thursday Show. Why should he take
a pay cut? They sat down at the table and
it shook hands and made an agreement. Why should he? Now?
Would you?
Speaker 2 (12:34):
I mean no, I would not.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
I know a lot of us want him to. But
if you're in his shoes, I.
Speaker 4 (12:39):
Mean, just think about your job here at iHeart. If
I was owed, you know, whatever amount of money dollar
twenty five, If I'm owed whatever, what incentive do it?
I mean, well, let me just use in the real world.
I got fired at Hey, Kentucky because of uh, because
of a you know, fighter pilot and WHI is it?
Speaker 1 (13:00):
She was fider. It was a you know I mean that.
Speaker 4 (13:03):
Told you that the goalie goalie and a mom. I
got and they owed me another year's salary. And when
they called me and said they were gonna let me go,
I said, well, you're going to pay me that year's salary,
and they're right. I said, look, I'm a lawyer. I
don't want to hear this. I was like, you're gonna
(13:23):
pay me a year's salary, and if you don't want
to do that, then that's fine. Then I'll make a
big deal about this and if you want to, we
can deal with that that way. And twenty minutes later
they called me and said, all right, yeah, we'll give
you a your salary. But I wasn't gonna go. You
know what, you're letting me go. Let's see if we
can make this better for everybody here. Let me take
(13:46):
a cut for let me take a pay cut just
because while you're letting me.
Speaker 2 (13:51):
Go ain't happening.
Speaker 1 (13:53):
They're not gonna do that, And.
Speaker 4 (13:54):
I understand why Mark Soups is not gonna be too.
So there's your situation, right, you.
Speaker 2 (13:59):
Know, as a fan sitting here with this kind of
trying to absorb all this, you know, the flirtation with
A and M. Now this story coming out and makes
me just feel like I've lost my best friend in
a relationship type of thing. I just feel like the
glory days of Mark Stoops is our coaches. I do
need a hug?
Speaker 1 (14:18):
Is Mark Stoops your best friend.
Speaker 2 (14:19):
He's my best friend, my football coach. He's my best
football coach.
Speaker 1 (14:23):
He didn't die.
Speaker 2 (14:25):
I feel like maybe part of it is part of him.
Has you need a hug? I need a hug?
Speaker 1 (14:31):
What's going on here? It's right limit Alarm dot Com?
Speaker 4 (14:35):
All right, well there you go. So, just to summarize,
Drew and I, maybe me even a little more than
Drew were on the I think we all agree that
discussions took place.
Speaker 1 (14:49):
Is that fair?
Speaker 6 (14:49):
Yes?
Speaker 1 (14:49):
I think we all agree with that.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
I think I Drew and I are more under the
It was the hypothetical if you don't want me to go,
and then you are staying lawyer to the cut.
Speaker 2 (15:01):
I'm kind of in the middle.
Speaker 1 (15:03):
You can't be what's the Switzerland, you can't always be
in the middle.
Speaker 2 (15:06):
I'm neutral in Switzerland.
Speaker 4 (15:08):
Yeah, that's what happens. When I'm gone. You start going
to lunch with the old eighteen guys every week. That's
what happened.
Speaker 1 (15:15):
Oh they're going out at night.
Speaker 2 (15:16):
Yeah, we were at the pickleball plays a country ball country.
Speaker 1 (15:19):
He said, beer's cut this week. This week. That's that's
why this happened.
Speaker 4 (15:22):
If we took him for this week, like th I
go out of the country for eighteen days.
Speaker 1 (15:28):
I don't say eighteen.
Speaker 4 (15:29):
He'll get excited those guys again, It's exactly what it is.
All right, Hey, five twenty eighty seven. We will take
your calls. It's UK Georgia. But honestly, this is more
interesting than that. We'll be right back. This is uh
the Kentucky Select Chevy Dealers KSR pregame Quarterback Taking Sports
Radio Matt Drew Bryanalarm dot Com. Mario's up early this
(15:50):
morning too, feeling back in the vibe. Did you say
you say that the cut man's listening.
Speaker 1 (15:56):
I believe he is all right.
Speaker 2 (15:57):
He sent me a text as in a conversation.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
Oh, here we go. Now, are you sure he wants
you to read this? This is a private text.
Speaker 2 (16:04):
Yeah, but I think this is with our conversation.
Speaker 1 (16:06):
Okay, he said, if you think it's fine.
Speaker 2 (16:08):
In a conversation, things happen, like you're saying it, like
the conversation may have started one way.
Speaker 1 (16:14):
And then he said, in a conversation, things happened.
Speaker 2 (16:18):
Yeah, during the course of the conversation.
Speaker 1 (16:20):
But I don't know what that means.
Speaker 2 (16:21):
I think maybe they started with just a meeting just
to talk about the way things are, and they're in
the course of that conversation.
Speaker 1 (16:28):
Maybe that's happened.
Speaker 2 (16:29):
If you want me things happen. If you want me out,
buy me out.
Speaker 1 (16:33):
But that's what I said.
Speaker 2 (16:34):
Yeah, I think that's what I think.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
Things happen. That's different than what That's different than what
he say.
Speaker 2 (16:38):
Things in quotes I think includes what stuff what you said,
and stuff what Alan said.
Speaker 4 (16:43):
But Alan said, Alan said he went to him and said,
I want to leave.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
I think that that's different. I think that came up
in the conversation. It was one of those things.
Speaker 1 (16:53):
It's not Alan said.
Speaker 4 (16:54):
He went to him to say that that's not the
same as it came up in a conversation.
Speaker 2 (16:59):
I think that was one of the things in the conversation.
It was a thing.
Speaker 1 (17:03):
This is making my head hurt. Alarm dot cop Alarm
dot com.
Speaker 2 (17:07):
Baby, my dogs love their doggy toys, by the way,
love them.
Speaker 1 (17:12):
God, someone profited from this, a bag of doggy treats.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
The one person that got something out of a person.
Oh if I'm not twenty seven. You were saying during
the break, the worst scenario today is exactly what's gonna happen,
which is like we're gonna lose by like eleven, and
it be moderately competitive, but with no chance for us
ever to win.
Speaker 7 (17:37):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (17:38):
Ryan and I were talking about something. He's like, yeah,
for after a blowout today. I was like, no, I'm
fully prepared this. I am conditioned to watch them keep
it within a touchdown today. I'm not gonna predict that,
but that's kind of what Mark Soups would do in
this scenario. I mean, last year, people were very upset
before the Old Miss game. He goes down there and
throws a bomb on fourth down and wins it. You know,
(17:59):
I don't think the gonna win today. But if they
go out there and you know, put up a fight
in they're in it late in the game, won't.
Speaker 4 (18:06):
Be the least that would be exactly what You're exactly right,
that would be exactly what they would do.
Speaker 1 (18:10):
I feel like this is a good pregame show.
Speaker 4 (18:12):
It's early in the warning and it's a game that
nobody wants to wants to watch, so I feel like
it's not going to be one of the most listened
to shows. But I think those first twenty minutes were
really funny and freik people are not going to get
to hear it.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
But that's all right. Let's go to Jerry. What's up? Jerry?
Speaker 8 (18:28):
Hey, guys. First off, what you're talking about with the
stoops in the about and although I will say is
what Ray croct the founder of McDonald's told the McDonald's
brothers contracts like hearts, they may to be broken. So
we'll see what happens with that as far as the game.
Speaker 4 (18:43):
But now, when you're Jimmy Sexton and not when your Mark,
I mean, like, remember Jimmy Sexton was Jimbo Fisher's Jimbo
Fisher's agent, and Jimbo Fisher ended up getting his money.
Speaker 1 (18:53):
They fired him. Yeah, he got his money.
Speaker 8 (18:57):
Wouldn't he in his contract Tennessee.
Speaker 4 (19:00):
But his contract was not as bad as ours. Even
though his contract is like eighty million, it was paid out.
He's still being paid. It was paid out over the
course of a number of years. Mark's contract is you
have to pay me within fourteen days of being fired.
Speaker 8 (19:16):
I said, I, you know, we'll see what. I'm not
saying they're gonna be able to fire him. I'm just
saying we're looking at three wins if that happened.
Speaker 1 (19:25):
I don't think he disagrees with that, although I might.
Speaker 8 (19:28):
Say four it if that happens, you know, they've got
to get people in that stadium next year and with
that schedule, and we'll see. I don't know, we'll see it.
But as far as the game today goes, I'm hoping
that they keep it respectable. Like you guys are saying,
but say about these next three games that all three
(19:50):
of these teams have offenses that can hang sixty on you,
and they all have defenses that can shut down our offense.
The thing about our defenses, and that's what word me
calling of the season, is it they might be pretty
good if they were out and as the offense doing
nothing but three and out.
Speaker 1 (20:06):
No, you're right.
Speaker 4 (20:07):
I appreciate the call, Jerry. I think our defense is okay,
but you can't have them out there the whole game.
They'll just they're gonna end up breaking. You can't help it.
Speaker 1 (20:16):
Yeah, I mean, they've got some things they need to fix,
they have some holes, but overall, I'd say they're even
a good defense. Especially the defensive line has been awesome.
Last week you had Leonora Sellers dead to rights a
couple of times, and he just showed why he's an
NFL talent. He broke out of tackles, turned it to
a game. But otherwise the front's been really good and
I think they're going to keep them in it. But
(20:37):
I mean, you go back to even the home games here,
the defense sets the offense up in great spots and
still don't do much with it. So they can only
do so much. By the way KSR Parlay is up.
Speaker 4 (20:46):
Yeah, if you want to get there, A thousand people
have met it, including us, so so get ready. We'll
need some positivity, you know, after all this.
Speaker 1 (20:54):
What's the first game on that we have the times
on them? First game is something.
Speaker 4 (20:59):
Well though, a Virginia Louisvill's in the afternoons. So so
the games in two minutes or you tell me there's
two minutes left, Billy.
Speaker 2 (21:06):
Left in the segment.
Speaker 1 (21:07):
Okay, gotcha. Let's go to John Short. What's up? John Short?
Speaker 6 (21:12):
Nothing?
Speaker 4 (21:13):
I haven't talked to you in forever. How are you doing?
Speaker 1 (21:16):
John?
Speaker 9 (21:18):
Lest you talking me the first couple of games? And
I say that I'm interested about the coach playoffs. I
they can take you Vanderbilt, Georgia, Alabama.
Speaker 1 (21:26):
Well, all those other teams might make it, but.
Speaker 9 (21:28):
Us I always like to interest and everything, and that
the other conferences, we're gonna be Georgia Davit five. We
can beat them in volleyball, which we did expect. We
can beat them in the football.
Speaker 1 (21:41):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (21:41):
Well, good to hear from you, John, And remember you
can call us during the week sometimes.
Speaker 1 (21:46):
I know you.
Speaker 4 (21:47):
I know you're busy, you got a lot going on,
But I do like I do like saying hi to you.
Speaker 2 (21:53):
Oh you know he turned sixty years old when you
were on sixty years old? Yes, at sixty havy birthday.
Speaker 1 (22:00):
What you do for your sixtieth birthday?
Speaker 9 (22:03):
Just say you're a home and a hand of frog legs.
Speaker 1 (22:08):
Would you have guessed frog legs?
Speaker 4 (22:09):
You have frog legs? Where do you get frog legs?
Speaker 9 (22:13):
Let's like anytoy.
Speaker 4 (22:15):
Well, be careful just getting secondhand frog legs. Make sure
there're make sure they're certified. John from a frog leg dealer.
All right, I appreciate the calls.
Speaker 1 (22:26):
How you get worts? Just sitting here eating frog legs.
Speaker 2 (22:31):
Never would have guessed John sixty years old eating frog legs?
Speaker 1 (22:34):
Hey man, things to do years old?
Speaker 2 (22:37):
Amen, there were worse things.
Speaker 4 (22:39):
You just sit there and eat some frog legs. Af
I'm nine twenty two eighty seven. We're gonna take your calls.
It was a fun first half hour on a Saturday morning.
Alarm dot com Matt Drew, right rock, We'll be right back.
It's Tucky Select Chevy Dealers KSR.
Speaker 1 (22:54):
Forget you for damn big old couch, right head. It's
a foot race down to there, sideline, across the floor,
across the thirty go ready for.
Speaker 3 (23:04):
They assist a Central Kentucky Select Chevy Dealers ks R
tailgate show.
Speaker 2 (23:14):
Now here's Matt Jones.
Speaker 4 (23:18):
It is the Kentucky Select Local Central Chevy Dealers KSR
pregame show ninety won the bull now joining us thanks
to folks at Whas and Louisville. We got here, We
got here lap in Lexington, we got our folks in Summerset.
A lot of people listening. Great first thirty minutes, Billy,
are you actually I don't think Billy can shot me in,
but Billy's doing the producer Billy, Yeah, I think we
(23:40):
should put the first thirty minutes up, maybe even the
whole show.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
Let's just put the whole show. Let's just put those
show up.
Speaker 2 (23:45):
We don't do that very Oh, we don't for a
pregame show.
Speaker 1 (23:47):
And I think I think missed.
Speaker 4 (23:48):
I think the first twenty minutes are worth doing in
case people, in case people missed it, So we'll put
that up.
Speaker 1 (23:53):
We'll do it.
Speaker 4 (23:53):
You want to just put it up right after this, Billy,
So that's up for it could be good distraction from
the game.
Speaker 2 (23:58):
People want to hear your on color impersonation over and
over on loop.
Speaker 4 (24:02):
Yeah, all right, we got some folks on the phone here.
Let's just do a couple of things before I go
to it. Some good news. It is basketball, but it's
good news. Tyron Stokes number one player in America. We
the last time we got the number one player in
America a Kentucky was what Carl Town's sco scal that's
always forget that scale is number one. Well, Tyron Stokes
(24:24):
number one player in America. And last night a lot
of the recruiting, uh you know, Benny's all the people
that follow it put in picks for Tyron Stokes to
Kentucky last night. Yeah, he signed with Nike yesterday, huh,
which is a good sign. There was a time he
was thought to definitely be going to Louisville, and then
(24:45):
there was a time that I mean, there have been
other schools Organs on EAM there others, but lots of
picks for Kentucky. It would be massive for Mark Pope
to get the number one player in the country when
he still had I mean, he's gotten a lot of
great players, but he hadn't gotten that elite non Kentucky recruit.
This one would be just a game changer, right, Yeah,
(25:07):
And there's so many good angles to this.
Speaker 1 (25:09):
I mean, Louisville thought they had him for a long time.
Looking like with the Nike update, that's probably gonna push
them and anyone else out of the picture. That's not
a Nike School and then just you know, not all
number one players are the same. He's one of those
true number ones, one of those dudes that don't come
around very often. Like you know, no one's a surefire thing,
(25:31):
but he's pretty dang close to being a guy that
you know is gonna be a one and done and
pan out for you right away. So hopefully they get
it done and Pope could answer a lot of questions
and concerns about being able to recruit top guys.
Speaker 4 (25:42):
We'll wait and see, but that's some good news from
last night. That would be just be massive because he's
a real deal. I look into the camera and say,
you mark this down. This kid ends up at Kentucky,
he will be a superstar superstar. If he goes to
organ see in the draft, we won't even know you played.
(26:03):
But if he comes to Kentucky, superstar.
Speaker 1 (26:05):
Better Oregon than the alternatives cards.
Speaker 4 (26:09):
Family, Listen, I wanted to come here as long as
you didn't go to Louisville because the Louisville fans are
gonna be really sad if he doesn't go, and that
will be entertaining. All right, let's go to Matt. What's up, Matt?
Speaker 8 (26:20):
Oh, what's up, guys.
Speaker 7 (26:21):
I'm sitting out here in my garden barefooted, been meditating,
and I have a strong feeling the Cats are going
to do something amazing today. Oh really, And I gotta
know I do. I've got a strong feeling. I mean,
our defense looks really good. Their defense is kind of weak,
you know, in the in the backfield, and and their
(26:43):
linebackers are not really that strong. As long as we
don't turn the ball over, I feel like the Cat's.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Yeah, that's a big thing, all right. I like it.
Speaker 4 (26:53):
Matt, appreciate the call. I like your positive energy. We've
got the meditation going.
Speaker 1 (26:58):
To his point, it is weird you think of Georgia
just being a dominant defense and they have the roster,
but they've only had five sacks this season. They're like
towards the bottom of the country in sacks and getting
pressure on quarterbacks. I mean, Alabama's quarterback had a clean
pocket all day. So it's crazy to say that about Georgia.
But Bowie, yeah, I mean they've.
Speaker 4 (27:17):
Had thirteen guys go in the top three picks in
the last or top three rounds in the last three
years off their defense. This that ain't happening with this group.
They've got one or two guys, but this is not
the defense that they've had the last few years. Let's
go to another mat. What's up matt.
Speaker 10 (27:33):
Hey, morning, guys.
Speaker 11 (27:35):
You know, kind of just a big picture question. It
seems like for a long time, and I'm not from
Kentucky but sort of watching it from afar, that Kentucky
football has sort of been a low investment, low return proposition.
They didn't win a lot, but also it was accessible
for fans. Parking was good, and probably it didn't cost
as much to go to Kentucky football as did other
SEC schools if.
Speaker 4 (27:54):
We're being honest, certainly that was definitely true until a
decade ago. For sure, Like until a decade ago. I
think that would be a perfect analysis of it.
Speaker 11 (28:05):
So this is so so for most of the past decade,
the you know, they ratchet up the requirement from the fans,
but it was met with winning. And now the sort
of the bottom is falling off of that second half
of that equation, And and and is there anything the
athletic department can do other than lower the prices and
basically charge people what they're getting, which we know they're
not gonna do that can sort.
Speaker 1 (28:24):
Of get the fan base back on great question.
Speaker 4 (28:26):
I think that's that's it. And sometimes it takes and
I appreciate the call, Matt. It takes an outsider to
note that this was my worry. I think I said
this Ryan a decade ago when they went into the
push of Okay, now we're winning. Now we can start
doing stuff right now. We can get rid of the
parking right now, we can start renovating, especially the luxury suites,
(28:49):
like now, we can start doing all these things. As
soon as they did that, I said, you know, all
those things are fine, but you better hope you keep winning,
because if you're gonna start treating this program not like
the fans sort of love affair that it was when
we stunk, you can do that, but then you have
to win. Because when you stop winning and then it's
not affordable and it's not accessible, and you stop having
(29:12):
fan and Fan Day, and you stop doing the Spring Game,
you stop doing the women's clinic, and you stop having
any connection with the fans, well you better win. It's
like people will go to their mom and pop restaurant
because they like mom and pop, and if they go
one time, the food's not great. They still like mom
and pop. But if you're McDonald's, you better be good
(29:32):
because there's no connection to those people.
Speaker 1 (29:34):
You better be good.
Speaker 4 (29:36):
And I think we have moved from mom and pop
Kentucky football to I wouldn't say we're McDonald's.
Speaker 1 (29:43):
Were like Long John's, the new Long John's, trying to
be good. Well, you better be good. Do you agree
with that?
Speaker 2 (29:52):
Yeah, one hundred percent. So u K took away some
of the basic elements that these loyal, diehard football fans
that have been coming to games when we for years
and years and years, and those fans have not forgiven
them you talked about that took away from their tailgate areas,
rearranged their seat, took them to their seats away they've
except with the same people for ten fifteen years. They
took that away. I think those folks have not fully
(30:12):
come back yet because they don't feel appreciated.
Speaker 4 (30:15):
To the extent they did come back, it was because
they were winning. Because they were winning. Now when you lose,
well then that's a harder case.
Speaker 1 (30:23):
Yeah. And I know sometimes I know for a fact
they play this up as you know radio, those guys
whining again. But we just had yesterday and his name
escapes me. But a listener came up during a break.
What do you say, I'm like a twenty two year
season ticket holders like I think I'm out Like those
are real people that have been doing this for a
long time. I love the people at UK, A lot
of them.
Speaker 4 (30:42):
The same people have been here since we started, and
I love them and they're nice people like the people
that work at UK and athletics are almost universally kind,
sweet people. I don't want to listen to anybody involved
in athletics tell me y'all are whining too much because
we are more connected to the fans than the administration.
It's just the case, you know. I will listen to
(31:05):
Mitch Barnhart or anyone in athletics say Matt, you don't
understand this economic reality or this, and I will listen
to it and I will incorporate it into my opinions
because they do know more about that stuff than I do.
But you cannot tell me what the fans think. And
you think you know better because you all don't interact
with the fans. R Mitch Barnhart has no interaction with
(31:27):
the small fan. He has interaction with boosters. That's just
the nature of the job.
Speaker 1 (31:32):
But he's not. I mean, we had one hundred.
Speaker 4 (31:33):
And fifty people at Shady Races, thirty of them came
up to talk about UK football. When's the last time
you think Mitch Bellnhardt has taken thirty random citizens of
Louisville and talked to them that didn't pay money to
be in a building with him.
Speaker 1 (31:50):
Can't name it, Tom, I'm just being honest.
Speaker 4 (31:53):
He might have been there for the UK Alumni Club,
but that ticket costs what one hundred bucks to get
in or one hundred and fifty to go to that differ.
These are just thirty fans that could come from any
walk of life. The only common nominator they have is
a radio show, and we hear from them and they don't.
And so like I do think we have a sense
of the fans, and the fans are out.
Speaker 1 (32:14):
You were standing there when that guy was like I've
had tay, I think he said twenty two years the fans.
I'm not doing it.
Speaker 4 (32:20):
And so it's up to you if you want to
fix it. But I can tell you the one thing
that will not fix it is denying. There's a problem right, right.
Speaker 2 (32:27):
And They totally won't accept the fact that this little
things like the spring game or the women's clinic. That
means a lot of fans.
Speaker 4 (32:33):
Clear they haven't had a women's clinic Apparently in six years.
Two different women were like, I used to go That's
where I learned to care about the play.
Speaker 2 (32:40):
That's exactly right.
Speaker 1 (32:41):
Their exact word yesterday was, we don't feel a connection
to these players at all.
Speaker 4 (32:44):
That's You've got to fix that, and denying it is
the worst way to fix it. Mark Pope, one of
the things he did great here is when he got here,
he knew we had to win, but he also realized
there are little day to day things that matter, so
that if you lose. Our basketball team lost in the
sweet sixteen last year to Tennessee. Do you ever hear
(33:05):
anybody bring that up.
Speaker 2 (33:06):
No, you really don't.
Speaker 4 (33:07):
If you had told me we'd lose in the tournament
to Tennessee and everybody be okay with it.
Speaker 1 (33:13):
You know. Part of the reason they're okay with it
because they really like Mark Poe.
Speaker 4 (33:17):
Yeah, that's gone the other way now, and you gotta
fix it.
Speaker 1 (33:23):
Let's go to land what's up, Landed?
Speaker 6 (33:27):
What's up?
Speaker 10 (33:27):
Matt uh me and my dad here were actually headed
to the Athens, Georgia for the game today. This is
the first time I can say in a long time
that we have our Kentucky gear on and when the
Georgia fans says something to us or bark something to us,
we have nothing to say back. I mean, they beat
us in Athens last year in basketball and football team
not much hope this year. Normally people are kind of
(33:48):
scared a little bit. But that'll bring me. That'll bring
me to my question. If Mark Steuch was to get fired,
what's your top three top three coaches that we might
go get well.
Speaker 1 (33:57):
I mean that's a whole you know. I appreciate the call.
Speaker 4 (33:59):
I don't like doing that when people are still here,
and I don't think firing is happening yet. With that said,
the reality is Kentucky will initially try to get John
some wrong. I think there was a time that Brad
White would have been one of the contenders. I think
if you end up in a situation where you feel
like you have to let Mark Stops go, then Brad
White's not gonna be a contender at that point. And
(34:22):
then if that doesn't work out, you're just it's gonna
end up. It'll probably be somebody like Mark Stoops said,
we don't think about it, and we can sit here
and talk about all the big names you want, but
the reality is it'll probably be.
Speaker 1 (34:31):
And honestly, it probably should be.
Speaker 4 (34:33):
I can't think of a name out there that you
would go, yeah, go get that guy.
Speaker 1 (34:38):
Because I like will Stein at Oregon. He's in my
summer he'd be great.
Speaker 4 (34:41):
But to be fair, the reason we know will Stein
is because he played at Louisville. Right, That's why we
know him. There are other will Stein's out there we
just might not know because we you know what I mean,
There's there could be another dude like will Stein at
a school. We just don't know his name because he
didn't play at Louisville.
Speaker 1 (34:59):
Well, I put him on the summer raw thing because
because he went here. Well, no, will Stein's dad would hear,
and people like he has family here. There's a word
that he wants to live in. Like I'm saying, those
are two coaches that actually want to.
Speaker 4 (35:13):
But I'm saying to you, like, let's say, for whatever
reason you didn't get will Stein, there's another will Stein
out there. He just has no connection to Lexington, like
Memphis may end up in the playoffs. I don't know
who their who their coach is, right, but that might
he might be great because we don't I just don't
know who he is. Who's winning at South Florida right now?
You know who's that.
Speaker 1 (35:34):
I don't know the goky Goku whatever his name is.
Speaker 6 (35:39):
Me.
Speaker 4 (35:40):
I just I don't know who they are, so so
to pick who it is. I didn't know who Mark
Stoops was and he ended up being a great hire right,
So uh, I think you just have to see how
it plays it.
Speaker 1 (35:49):
I just think those two are unique because they connection
to Lexington.
Speaker 12 (35:52):
Yeah, go ahead, Reese, Hey, Matt, My question is kind
of on the buyout thing. So last year the conversation
was kind of it's not worth having because of the buyout?
Is it a change of opinion on your end? Or
is it a change of circumstances on u K?
Speaker 10 (36:08):
And that now it is worth having.
Speaker 4 (36:10):
It's work because things are worse than I thought they were.
I expected this could go bad, but I didn't expect
you would get You know, towards the end of cal
there was still a loud minority of people who really
wanted Cal here right, I mean, you know, I believe me,
just could check my messages for two years, like there
was a loud minority, and there were there were a
(36:32):
loud minority of people who were very important to the program,
whether it be Boosters or that that still wanted him here,
and then right at the end that number went down
quite a bit.
Speaker 6 (36:44):
Right.
Speaker 1 (36:44):
Now, here's the problem.
Speaker 4 (36:45):
I don't know who the people are that are like,
who is the who are the people who want stoops?
Speaker 1 (36:52):
I don't know.
Speaker 4 (36:53):
And even the boosters who were his close friends, they
still love him, they wouldn't call for him to leave,
but I don't think they're really rhyme to put up
the fight they were a year or two ago.
Speaker 2 (37:03):
And it seems like the feeling has gone from we
got to get make a change. We get too, we
gotta make a change today.
Speaker 4 (37:09):
Like I don't get that. I don't either, But there's
no real I mean, let's say we lose fifty to nothing.
What would get written in him today? That wouldn't do anything.
I'd beat that. I'd be shocked.
Speaker 2 (37:18):
That seems to be a growing I.
Speaker 1 (37:19):
Think that's dumb in my maybe, I mean, who knows,
maybe they do that? Why to do what I mean.
Speaker 4 (37:26):
Yeah, here's what happens if you let him go, Brad
White becomes the interim coach.
Speaker 1 (37:30):
What if he wins some games? Down? Then what are
we doing? And we then we have to hire?
Speaker 2 (37:33):
You gotta hire him?
Speaker 1 (37:34):
Yeah? Is that what you want?
Speaker 4 (37:37):
What if you replace Mark Stoops, Brad White becomes a coach,
we beat Texas, we beat Auburn, and Bandy bring him in?
Speaker 1 (37:45):
Exactly what do you want to do that?
Speaker 2 (37:49):
He wouldn't be the worst choice.
Speaker 1 (37:50):
I guess no.
Speaker 4 (37:52):
But do you think that You think the ticket sales
and everybody the momentum is gonna go up next year
on a Brad White regime.
Speaker 1 (37:58):
Probably not, That's what I'm saying. So I don't that
to me.
Speaker 4 (38:02):
There's no reason to make a change mid year in football,
back really in any sport in college.
Speaker 1 (38:06):
It just doesn't make sense. You're not gonna change your
four I mean, what, what what are we gonna do?
Speaker 7 (38:11):
Like?
Speaker 1 (38:11):
Are we gonna play off if we make a change? Like,
what's the point before I fired Stoops mid year? I
would give him the opportunity to let him and he
deserves a chance.
Speaker 4 (38:22):
Now, if you if we come out and score zero
points and you said Mark's gonna make a change at OC.
That's what I'm saying now. That, to me is not
a ridiculous thing. I think you do that before. I
think you give him. I think he deserves a chance.
So what's the thing that could turn us around? Beat Texas,
then beat Vandy, then beat Alburn, or beat Louisville, Vandy
(38:46):
and Auburn. Yeah, right, that's the chance if you're Mark Stoops.
If you're Mark Stoops, let's be positive here for a
second before I take a break. If you're Mark Stoops
and you say, how do you want to save this job? Right,
here's the path of saving the job. Beat Auburn, beat Bandy,
beat Louisville. That's not impossible.
Speaker 1 (39:05):
No Florida at home. That is not impossible.
Speaker 2 (39:08):
To get you into a bowl game, that.
Speaker 1 (39:09):
Is not likely, but it's not impossible.
Speaker 4 (39:14):
I think you owe Mark Stoops to give him that shot, agreed,
And not to give Brad White that shot?
Speaker 2 (39:20):
Yep?
Speaker 1 (39:21):
Is that fair?
Speaker 6 (39:22):
Yeah?
Speaker 4 (39:23):
And if Mark Stoops wants to have that shot, and
he wants to say I got two weeks here, I'm
changing the OC, I think you give him the shot.
Speaker 1 (39:31):
Now.
Speaker 4 (39:32):
I don't know who who's this? Who on staff would
even be it. Yeah, there's a lot of new pieces
around him. I don't I don't even know, But I
don't think it's fair to Mark Stoops, who would be
the greatest coach, in my opinion, in modern UK history.
Speaker 1 (39:45):
I think that's I don't even think that's contrabarding debate.
I don't.
Speaker 4 (39:49):
I think you owe it to him to give him
the shot. Now, you don't owe it to him to
give him another year, but you owe it to him
to finish the year.
Speaker 1 (39:57):
Wilford, that's who he gives it to, the fire buddy.
Speaker 4 (39:59):
Can you imagine how it and people would be for that.
We'll take a break right back. It is the Kentucky
Select Chevy Dealers KSR pregame. It is the Central Kentucky
Local Chevy Dealers KSR Central. I didn't know that, so hey,
Central Kentucky, rest of state. I don't know about your
(40:20):
local Chevy dealers, but I know about the ones in
Central Kentucky. It's KSR pregame Show eight. I'm twenty two
eighty seven. One persons is Matt, did you get a
new phone? Yes, but I'm committed to being on it
less even last night. Just put it away because I'm
in the vibe of not needing to being on.
Speaker 1 (40:39):
But it's new.
Speaker 4 (40:40):
I've pro iPhone seventeen Max Pro plus.
Speaker 2 (40:45):
He's at the top of the line.
Speaker 1 (40:46):
Now I been out for two weeks. Look at that thing.
Look at that? Now? When do I when do I
pour dot cocin?
Speaker 2 (40:53):
Well, hopefully you won't. Hopefully that those days are gone.
Speaker 1 (40:56):
Was that screen? Was that made in Kentucky too? That
looks like Kentucky glass right there? Yes, so the good
stuff here.
Speaker 4 (41:06):
One person writes, Matt, I think this is a good
conversation about what should happen with Stoops.
Speaker 1 (41:12):
I agree with your idea.
Speaker 4 (41:14):
If he wants to make a change right now, you
would make it an offensive coordinator Eddie, somebody said Eddie Graham.
Speaker 1 (41:20):
I was wondering, like I would be, because he's in
a non coaching role. Can he Can you give the
playbook to anybody? I mean, Speaker of the House doesn't
even have to be a congressman. People don't know that
exact same situation essentially. I mean he would be the
easy pick. So Edi Grant, so bush Hampton comes Speaker
of the House and he's gonna take a look at it. Yeah, Darren,
(41:40):
go ahead and take a look at the country.
Speaker 8 (41:44):
Man. It's so good to hear, Drew Ryan, you did
a great job driving a bus while Matt was gone.
Speaker 9 (41:50):
I don't know if man.
Speaker 8 (41:51):
Thirty different Kentucky fans, but I know he's definitely got
at least from me.
Speaker 1 (41:56):
So you have city emails. Well that's good. What did
you say? Say?
Speaker 4 (42:03):
All right, he's breaking up. I appreciate the call. Sorry
about that. I did want to hear what you said.
Jay and Lindon go.
Speaker 6 (42:09):
Hey, Matt. I was asking the UK South Carolina Jame.
And my biggest takeaway is historically those road fans are
the most optimistic fans. Yeah, they're not anymore. I was
gonna talk a bunch of negative stuff, but forget it.
I'm not. Is there anything positive you can say about
football right now? And do you know what Billy's new
nickname was when you were gone?
Speaker 4 (42:30):
No to the second one and no to the first one.
There's nothing positive right now? I mean, you know, could
that change? Good to hear from you, Jay, appreciate it.
The could that change over the course of that? I mean,
I guess I don't. Do you all know anything positive
right now? I mean I don't.
Speaker 1 (42:43):
I don't.
Speaker 4 (42:43):
I'm gonna be honest with you. I don't even know
what the you know to extent you would say, well,
you know Cutter Bowley, but he hasn't looked good yet.
I'm not saying he won't. I'm not giving up on him.
Speaker 1 (42:52):
Seth McGowan's awesome.
Speaker 4 (42:54):
Seth McGowan is good. There's something he's a dog. Seth
McGowan is a really good running back, and Stoop historically
has done the best. When he said really good running back. So,
I mean, I guess you can say.
Speaker 1 (43:03):
That he's second in the SEC UH and already has
seven touchdowns. What's Billy's nickname?
Speaker 2 (43:08):
I don't know what is Billy's nickname?
Speaker 1 (43:09):
Yeah? I was. I don't know that either. I was
hoping someone else that's probably came from Billy there. What's
your name? I didn't even know it. I had to
ask Jay off the air, he said, Matt Jones Junior. Really,
oh yeah, we did realize that Billy is just slowly
becoming you. Why is that we were?
Speaker 2 (43:27):
He's someone after Peter the kirk Kirbstreets.
Speaker 1 (43:29):
He doesn't like kirk Kurbstreet's dog. Not a fan of
kids around.
Speaker 4 (43:34):
First of all, he goes farther on the definitely me,
I like you. I am not anti kid calling and
all the things he is. I think they can be sweet.
I like the excitement because that's me when I was
a kid. So Billy and I are disagreeing on that,
I kind of agree that, like this whole thing of
let's have Kirk's dog and let's have port Noy's dog.
Speaker 1 (43:56):
Like point, you know, you two are just more in
one person.
Speaker 2 (44:02):
Get that dog out of the booth.
Speaker 1 (44:04):
Come on, Billy on that. I don't, I don't, I
don't disagree with you. Let's go quickly to uh, Jimmy Nicholsville.
Speaker 12 (44:11):
Quick, Hey man, Jimmy, can hear you?
Speaker 10 (44:16):
Just fine?
Speaker 6 (44:16):
Here?
Speaker 10 (44:17):
I got a couple of thanks.
Speaker 9 (44:18):
Quick quick and Drew.
Speaker 6 (44:20):
Okay, so listen, we're talking about how much the bopad
buyout is.
Speaker 12 (44:24):
But I think we need to talk about the cost
of not getting rid of stoops.
Speaker 6 (44:29):
That's a lot bigger, and.
Speaker 4 (44:30):
It's very it's a high number. You're exactly right. What
was the second thing?
Speaker 6 (44:34):
Oh, I'm just gonna say, uh uh, just condolences to
you guys.
Speaker 12 (44:39):
Jimmy's lost some good friends along the way and I
know it's a hard time.
Speaker 4 (44:43):
Appreciate it, Jimmy, thank you very much, Thank you very much. Ryan,
give me a score and an MVP.
Speaker 2 (44:48):
I'm gonna go Georgia thirty five thirty rocker real quick,
I got it thirty five thirteen and my MVP is
also the Johnny Rocker roll player. Have you been injured?
Get small talk compassion with big city results. When you
call the Rocker Colway the kick her, he's he's only
the only points we get. Colwait Kelway.
Speaker 4 (45:02):
By the way, it's plus money on DraftKings under one
and a half touchdowns for Kentucky.
Speaker 1 (45:07):
Oh, just saying if.
Speaker 4 (45:08):
You want to bet where there might be some money
in Kentucky not playing well, what's yours?
Speaker 1 (45:12):
I think Kentucky actually looks decent, just can't find the
end zone. They lose twenty seven to nine. Colway was
gonna be my pick with three field goals. So I
will say the holder, whose name I don't even know.
Since Ryan took.
Speaker 4 (45:25):
The kicker, the holder, I'm going to the holder, the
holder holding today.
Speaker 1 (45:30):
I didn't see that.
Speaker 4 (45:30):
I think it's gonna be a game that is we're competitive,
but never in it. Really thirty to thirteen, Georgia. I'll
take Seth McGowan, who I do think will play well.
I think he is a real deal of a Kentucky
running back. I'll be back for the postgame show. We're
gonna put this pregame up on podcasts, so i'll see
you around four o'clock.
Speaker 1 (45:51):
I'm skipping the Saint
Speaker 4 (45:52):
James Art Fair for this postcamehow that's a big This
