(00:00):
Oh yes, and we continue onraining in Cleveland. So we got the
full board today for you, RyanHollins and for Fred Rogan Uh this hour.
We got our man Benny Bonsignor, who's going to be joining us shortly.
We also gotta have it, gotto have that spirituality the haiku Victor
(00:20):
Brick Jacobs would join us as well. Yeah, got got to get that
spirituality into us. It should bementioned too that Shoe Otani was pulled from
the game in the second inning todayand they're calling it armed fatigue, so
we'll keep an eye on that aswell. He also did hit his forty
fourth home run of the season andhe it ket is incredible. So we'll
(00:47):
keep an eye on Otani. Andif you know, to me if I'm
if I'm him, I don't knowif I if I go back out on
the mound and pitch anymore this season, man, I gotta I stand to
make too much money in the offseason, so I may not risk it.
So well, we have a chancewe can get into that a little
bit more. Right now, Let'sbring on our man and talk some NFL
because it's right around the corner andit's happening, and you can feel it
(01:08):
in the air. Oh man,Benny bats and your Benny, how are
you, buddy? I'm doing getit if if I'm Overtanny, I'm I'm
saving my arm so I can signthat five hundred million dollars check or contract
that I'm not ready to sign inthe in the offseason. So I'm not
pitching until I go back and gettaken care of. Damn right, I'm
(01:29):
damn right, I'm not. I'mnot. You know, we're talking about
arm fatigue. Here's the thing. You know, you can still hit,
he can still play, but Iam not risking you said it, he's
gonna be in that five six hundredmillion dollars range. I'm not risking anything
to put myself in jeopardy for that. So we'll keep an eye on.
We'll see what's happening. All right, Benny, Let's let's start with your
neck of the woods. What's thelatest on Josh Jacobs in the contract.
(01:55):
Yeah, it's getting down to nittygritty time because they're on the field as
we speak right now. So that'sone more practice that he's not going to
be involved in. And you couldbuy scratch up tomorrow's practice as well,
and then you start talking about maybea couple of practices next week, you
know, in the in that littlein that little break that they have,
(02:15):
and then three and more ahead aheadof the Broncos game on September ten.
So we're getting to some to somearea where there's not a whole lot of
practices left for him to get readyfor a football game. So even at
this point, and if he doescome into the building, you know sometime
next week, you got to realisticallyask yourself, how many is he going
(02:38):
to be ready to go for thatseason opener in terms of being able to
do what Josh Jacobs normally does. And I almost had to say no at
this point after missing so much time. So but the bigger question is even
uh, you know, uh beingready to report at that point. And
you know, and I think justtalking to some people, and in fact
(03:00):
talk to a few NFL eights andwho are basically saying, you know,
it might be time for Josh andhis group to kind of read the room.
There's there's really not much more that'sout there for him in terms of
the money. I know, theRaiders you know, are being kind to
be flexible and giving them a littlebit more for this season maybe in eleven
million dollars range above the ten pointone that he would make on the on
(03:21):
the franchise tag, but there's there'snot much more than that that's out there
for him. And at one pointyou say, you know what I gotta
play this year. I got toget the eleven million dollars or ten point
one million dollars and you know, get back in the batter's box next March,
trying to you know, figure outa long term future for whether it's
here or with the Raiders. Andand that time, Polly has already passed,
(03:42):
like he's he needs to in termsof pocket of people. He needs
to kind of look around and figureout like this is probably is the best
I'm going to get right now.And if I don't like that, then
am I really willing to sit outa full season? Uh and and sacrifice
ten point one million dollars? Elevenmillion dollars? Yeah, you're right,
and I'm one hundred percent with you. And whoever's telling him that about reading
the room. You gotta read theroom. And you are a running back,
(04:05):
you know it'd be different if he'sa quarterback out there holding out for
my money. You can you know, quarterbacks can can play, as we've
seen twelve, fifteen, twenty yearsin this league. But a running backs
got a shelf life and if inevery year that you don't play, you
know, shortens that shelf life ofyou being on the field. So absolutely,
(04:26):
you better you better read the room. And not to mention, it's
not just him, it's the cultureof the NFL right now, Vinny that
running backs just aren't getting paid rightnow. And I really look up and
see the Colts give Jonathan Taylor permissionto seek a trade. I mean that
should that that also should tell youand open your eyes. It's like,
this is what this is where themarket is for running backs. Look what
(04:51):
Dalvin Coop just signed for it.I mean, if you play as well
and meets all sorts of uh youknow who you know check marks on the
contract seven million dollars. You know, Ezekiel Elliott. What he got from
the New England Patriots is along thosetypes of lines to a lot of a
lot of incentives to get him tothe the high water mark of that of
(05:11):
that number. So yeah, andyou know, I'm for everybody making as
much as they possibly can, butat some point, uh and this comes
down to Josh and his agent, you know, making that decision and saying
this is the best that's out therefor him. And another thing I've kind
of hurt him, Rodney, is, you know, I know a lot
of running backs were you know, they had the zoom calls and the phone
calls and they and they, youknow, we're showing their front of solidarity
(05:35):
while in this together. But theminute sa Kwon Barkley went back to the
Giants for basically nine hundred thousand dollarsmore than he would have gotten on the
on the franchise tag, he kindof caved, right and that and that
took away whatever leverage all these runningbacks, you know, we're we're trying
to create for themselves by by showinga solid front. So once that Bambino
(05:59):
fell, and then and then Ezekielsigned for what he signed for, and
Dalvitkas signed for what he signed for, there really isn't much leverage. And
oh, by the way, asa general manager told me, you look
at the free agent market running backmarket next year, I think there's like
fourteen guys that are going to befree agents. So there's gonna be a
glut in that market. Next year, So the money that might not even
(06:19):
be as much as it as it'sgoing to be next year as it would
have been this year. So there'sa lot working against running backs right now.
Then he let's down on a topicwho what's the most pivotal hold out
right now? What could actually haveseasonal implications that could you know, keep
a team out of the playoffs oror really calls calls harm. Also of
(06:40):
the Chris Jones situation going on overthere with the Chiefs, which one could
you see that could be the worst? Yeah? And the Chris Jones one,
I feel like it's kind of flyingunder the Raider. I don't know
why. Maybe there's an assumption thatit's going to get done, but I
know this, uh, covering theRaiders and seeing Big Crab and the Chiefs
twice a year, that dude isa devastatingly good football player. And I
(07:05):
mean there's nobody that can that canbuck if every Raider fans we're talking about
their right guard Alex far As.Last year, you guys lunch eaten you
know by Chris Jones. I waslike, that happens to everybody. The
Chiefs just say, okay, whereis the weak link on your offensive line,
because we're gonna Chris right in frontof that dude, and he's gonna
(07:25):
have himself a big day. Andyou found the Super Bowl what he meant
in a wall that the Eagles, who had a quote unquote the best offensive
line in the NFL, cannot dealwith Chris. So if you're asking about
a pivotal player, I mean,he gives you almost just enough defense by
himself and obviously there's ten other playerson the field. He makes such a
difference on that defensive line to helpthe linebackers and the quarterbacks and the safeties
(07:48):
just by the disruption that he thousesthat if he's not there for the Chiefs
as good as Patrick Mahomes is andthat offense, I'd be a little bit
worried if I was a Chiefs fan, considering, oh the Angles, the
Buffalo Bills, and on and onand on. When you're talking about some
really good teams in the afcuh Bennysam Donald was officially named back up to
(08:11):
Brock Purty up in San Francisco.First of all, are you surprised by
that? And what does that meanin terms of future for Trey Lance?
Now? Yeah, no, I'mnot surprised, and I saw Trey for
a couple of days when when theforty nine ers are out here in Lat's
he gets then playing the Raiders ina game and trade just doesn't look right.
(08:33):
And I kind of feel bad forhim a little bit now because I
think that all of the dysfunction thatthe forty nine ers have had at quarterback
has probably taken a little bit ofa toll on him. I will I
do wonder if he just needs tochange change his scenery at this point,
and I'm not nobody can predict whathe really is because I don't think anyone
has a really good handle on onwhat he is because he just hasn't played
(08:54):
in US. But it's obviously notgoing to happen in San Francisco has the
third quarterback, and so a changethe scenery might do him well. Now
people talk about, well somebody shouldtrade for him. If you trade for
him, now you as the tradingteam A are giving up something of value
to get him. And then dyou have to make a really quick decision
this year on whether or not nextyear you're going to pick up the fifth
(09:18):
year option. And the fifth fifthyear option is home over twenty million dollars
because that's the that's the world, that quarterback's role and as opposed to running
backs. So that fifth year optionfor a guy that was taken third overall
and playing a cornerback position is prettyhepty. I don't know that there's a
team out there that's going to giveup a trade value to assume the guaranteed
parts of that contract and the unknownfactor of that fifth year option. Well,
(09:43):
I would think could might happen ismaybe the forty nine ers just release
him and then he could go onhis merry way and find a contract that's
suitable for him in a situation that'ssuitable for him where the where the team
that he goes to doesn't have todeal with those ramifications. But yeah,
you think about the forty nine ersand twice now they've kind of blown it
on quarterback. They had a chanceto draft Patrick Mahomes. They went out
(10:07):
to scout him to try to createa ruse that they made that they might
want to draft him. They weren't. They had no intentions of doing that.
John Lynch called Kyle Senna and said, hey, I know I'm out
here just to kind of, youknow, try to try to deek some
people into thinking that working a drafthim, But this dude's pretty good,
we should maybe think about our position, and Kyle said no, and they
(10:28):
didn't draft him. They drafted Solomon, who was a defensive lineman from from
from Stanford that no longer is inthe league. Not the thing, miss,
And now they've traded three first roundpicks to move up in the draft
to trade to draft trade lance. That's three first round picks that they gave
up to draft a guy that justa few years later they don't know what
(10:50):
to do with. So you lookat the Fortnite Vid him so much,
right, But at quarterback they've madesome mistakes. And I'm not even sure
what brock perty truly he is.I think we'll find out obviously this year.
But who knows what brock Purty reallyis if he starts from post to
post and teams are game planning forhim and taking away his weakness and making
(11:11):
him make adjustments because he really didn'thave to do that last year coming in
when he came in. Sure he'sgoing to have to and now we're going
to find out. Okay, ifhe legit or not, I don't know
the answer to that question. Yeah, well, I'll tell you for sure.
It's a different ball game going inas a starter as opposed to coming
off the bench and relieving somebody. In terms of pressure, it's a it's
(11:33):
a it's a whole different level.Like you said, game planning for him,
all those things they've got tape onhim now, it's a it's a
different deal. Staying with quarterbacks,Vinny, first of all, how is
Jimmy G looking? And I understandeight and O'Connell has played pretty well in
the preseason told solidify that backup role, But how is Jimmy G looked in
(11:56):
camp so far? Yeah, Jimmy, he got out there and played against
the Rams four or four and lethim on a touchdown drive. Then it
was back to the sideline for Jimmy. So so far, so good.
And I was just watching him today. I feel like as as training camp
has moved on and smart of thelast days thankfully of trading camp. But
(12:16):
but he's been moving around a lotbetter too. I think that when he
you know, he started off intraining camp. They cleared him the play,
but you could tell if there wasa little Tenantornes coming off the broken
foot and the surgery, and hetold us, look, I'm not quite
there yet, but I feel likeI'll get there. And I was I
was watching to move around. Theyhad him doing some some footwork, you
(12:37):
know, drills today and he wasdancing around pretty good. So it looks
like the foot's good. You know, He's just he kind of has a
way about him. Rodney. Therewas the path that he made against the
Rams, because I wonder a lotof people try to try to sort of
uh take away from Jimmy G.When you look at the winning record.
They there's excuses, well he's gotthis, well he's got that night.
(13:00):
I just look at a dude thatjust knows how to play in the position
and makes plays. And he madeit play against the Rams. It was
not a very good throat, butthe fact that somebody was barreling down on
him, he hung in there andhe put just enough in it to get
it to Jacoby Myers and I waslike, you know, what kind of
a bell went off? I waslike, that's Jimmy G. It may
not look pretty all the time,it may not make the highlight reels all
(13:20):
the time, but consistently, moreoften than that, he makes the play
and at the end of the day, Ronney, as a quarterback, isn't
that your job? Just make theplay. Doesn't have to look great,
doesn't have to be the fifty yardpass downfield or all of that. Just
consistently make the play. And Ifeel like that's what he does, that's
what he brings to the table. No, Vinny, you're absolutely right,
(13:41):
Jimmy g can run your office. Not sure if you heard, but you
got Colin Cowherd feels like he said, smoke very highly of the Raiders.
He feels like they have enough,They've got a little bit of everything to
be contenders this year. Do youbelieve in what Colin said? You see
this team day in and day out. How do you feel about his remarks?
(14:03):
And do they have enough? Iactually think that they are. They're
an improved team and I do feellike they have enough to go out there
and compete, you know, ona consistent basis every Sunday. Here's my
question, And we're not gonna findout. They're gonna have to play in
their seventeen games, But what doesthat get you in the AFC? Like
if the Raiders were in the NFC, go okay, you know what this
(14:26):
could be a team that could thatcould make the playoffs because I look at
the NFC and I'm like, besidesthe Philadelphia Eagles and you know, Seattle
seems like they're kind of, youknow, headed in the right, but
there's no there's no oh, theBengals, the Bills, you know,
the Jets are looking pretty good obviously, the Chiefs, like there's there's so
many to Baltimore Ravens with the helpingLamar DeShawn Watson and Cleveland, I think
(14:50):
teams are people are sleeping on him. There's a there's a boatload of teams
in the AFC, not so muchin the NFC. So even at their
high point for the Raiders, andI think if Jimmy ge Helphy they have
a chance to get there, whatwould that get you in the AFC?
What nine wins maybe ten wins?Does that even get you into the playoffs
in a loaded conference? But butyeah, I do feel like there's a
(15:11):
reason, if you're a writer fanto have some hope. But it's all
sort of predicated right now, doesJimmy g stay healthy and that has been
an issue for him obviously in thiscareer. Benny Bontnor joins us on a
five seventy LA Sports Benny Cooper Cupreturned to practice this week for the Rams.
There's still an enigma from me.I'm not sure what kind of team
(15:35):
the Rams are going to be.And certainly they cannot afford to have any
injuries if the offensive line, certainlynot to Matthew Stafford, and certainly Cooper
Cup. They got to make surethey were careful with him because they don't
have a whole lot of depth. But where do you see the Rams landing
this year? Because it could beto me, it could be a pretty
(15:58):
good season for them, or itcould be a train wreck, and I
hope it's not. They could Yeah, no, it could. You know,
I was being out there last weekand seeing them. First of all,
you know, Matthew looked electric,he looks healthy, he looks good.
And as I was watching the Ramsand kind of projecting to their division,
(16:18):
you could make an argument that theRams had the best quarterback in the
division. They've got the best widereceiver potentially in Cooper Cup, and definitely
the best defensive tackle, defensive lineman. I know Joey Bosa can make a
strong case for himself up in SanFrancisco, but nobody's Aaron Donald. He's
the best of the best. Andso when everything else is sort of okay,
(16:40):
some young players here, some unknownsthere, but in a in a
division where again I'm not quite sureabout rock Bertie Seattle, We'll see if
they kind of fall back to eartha little bit after a nice season as
they had last year. But cancan that those three types of players?
But three players and I just mentionedand a decent support in cast. What
can I get you in the NFCWest? What can you gotta get you
(17:04):
in an NFC that's that doesn't reallyhave any super teams. But if you
have the best quarterback or one andhe is the best one of the best
quarterbacks in the in the in thatconference and certainly in that division, could
they be a little bit of asurprise. And it goes back to what
I was saying about Jimmy g Matthew'sgot to stay healthy. But if those
three players do, I do wonderRodney, if there's a little bit enough
(17:26):
there uh to to compete at leastin their division and at least for one
of those wild card spots potentially, then he are the Jets a top three
team in the NFL right now,I gotta see it. I mean,
on paper, they look really good. And if that defense, if that
defense is as legit as it lookednext last year, that that defense keeps
(17:51):
them in games and kept them ina whole bunch of games last year,
even with I might have been ableto play better quarterbacks for the last year,
they were just a certainly bad.Yet they were still in like every
game. So so does Aaron. You know, it's and Aaron seems to
have a little bit about pepping hisstep and teams a little bit rejuvenated.
(18:11):
So but I do have to seeit because there are some really good teams
in the AFC and and and itmakes you wonder, you know, as
good as the Jets can be,can they stand up, you know,
against the Buffalo Bills or the CincinnatiBengals. That's the team that I'm looking
at. The Bengals. I justfeel like it might be their time this
year. The key for them isto get that AFC championship game in their
(18:34):
place and not have to go toKansas City. You look at the Chiefs,
this is kind of mind blowing. But I don't think Patrick Maholmes has
played a playoff game, a conferenceplayoff game, anywhere else but Arrowhead Stadium.
Someone in the a f C hasto figure out how to wait to
get him to their stadium and taketheir chances at home rather than going to
and Rodney. You know this Arrowheadis a special, special place, but
(18:57):
it's a place for opposing teams inthe day, exactly, is Evan?
It there many just a couple morebefore you before you let you go and
touch on the Chargers. And likeyou mentioned with the NFC, it's just
anybody's ballgame. In NFC, nota whole lot of a lot of great
teams. But in the AFC isso competitive. We just talked about the
(19:18):
Jets and when nobody really knows howthe Jets are gonna be this year is
really gonna depend on Aaron Rodgers inthat offense. But you got Cincinnati,
you do got Buffalo, you gotuh you got the Chiefs again, and
you got Miami's coming up. Yougot so many teams in the AFC.
The Chargers could be very good butstill not be good enough, Vinny,
(19:41):
and that that could be a problem, I know exactly, And you know
you just wonder with the with theChargers playing in this era of AFC football,
if that's just kind of their destinyright now to be one of the
good teams in a in a veryintegral rates conference. And from year to
(20:02):
year, whether you're talking about youknow, Joe Burrow and the Bengals and
obviously Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs, and and and Allan and the bustle up
Bills, and I'm throwing Lawrence andPlexanville is there? Who knows? And
I keep going back to this,Rodney Deshaun Watson. If Deshaun Watson,
you think about this, we talkedabout Arrowhead being a big advantage. I
(20:23):
remember a Houston game that went intoArrowhead Stadium and we're up, I mean
a couple of touchdowns at least.Yeah, there you go that the quarterback
was Deshaun Watson and he was playingas one of the top three quarterbacks in
the league. Now he misses whatpretty much two years goes back last year
mid season wasn't anywhere near the quarterbackthat he was. That's understandable all the
(20:48):
time that he missed. But everythingand I'm here and out of Cleveland,
is that the rust maybe off DeshaunWatson and you start looking at that team
in that defense. You know, are we are not talking enough about the
Cleveland Browns because the Shaw Watson isa game changer when he's just Shaan Latson,
he's one of the top thirty quarterbacksin the NFL. Yeah, it's
it's I mean, I'm so excitedfor this NFL season because there's so many
(21:11):
unknowns, which you just talked aboutin the Cleveland brown Deshan, the Jets
obviously everybody's got their eye on them, and the Hard Knocks Special. It's
gonna be very interesting. And alsobefore last question, I'm really gonna let
you go, and I guess thisone is home because I have to talk
to my brother and he's he's tightlip. Are you shocked or surprised that
Baker Mayfield is starting quarterback in TampaBay. I'm shocked that they didn't have
(21:36):
a plan after Tom Brady. No, not really, because they didn't because
they the the you know, theother options you know, weren't weren't all
that good. And I do wonderif Baker Sean McVay attacked, you know,
thanking him, because I really dothink the time that he was in
from Los Angeles with the Rams mighthave got him back on track. I
(21:59):
don't know what means, like youknow, and what that meat will mean
for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, eventhough they're kind of in a division that's
up for grabs unless you're like afirm believer in Derek Carr and the Norleyan
Saints. When you look at thatdivision, there's really not much there.
So and that's a pretty good teamthat's around him in Tampa Bay. It's
fine. It's also it might bethe best team that he's ever got that
he's ever played with in the NFLshort of the Rams, and even when
(22:22):
he was in Los Angeles, therewere so many injuries to the Rams,
including at quarterback obviously that it wassort of not the Rams. You know,
he didn't have Cooper Coppet and allhis all his great players, but
Mike Evans, a really good defense, a really good offensive line. They'll
run, they'll figure out how torun the ball. And and so I'm
kind of curious what Baker Mayfield isgonna it call blocked in everybody's face as
(22:45):
it has in other stots. ButI'm kind of curious, on on on
on what's going to happen in TampaBay, and did the experience in Los
Angeles and some of the some ofthe humble pie he's had to eat over
the last few years. Has thatgot him in the right place, a
right space mentally to be an NFLquarterback that's reliable in every way, that's
(23:07):
focused on the right things, notthe extracurricular stuff that he would sometimes get
involved in. H And are wegonna see a Baker Mayfield that maybe was
always in there but just hasn't beenable to to be released yet and maybe
this is the place for that tohappen. Yep, we will see.
Vinny. Hey, listen, greatstuff today. I appreciate it. I
(23:30):
know I kept you long, man, but I'm fired up about this NFL
season coming on. Thanks so much, man, appreciate it. Thanks for
jumping on. All right, youguys have a gooun there, he goes
Vinnie bonson Yor. Uh. Wedidn't forget though, because we got to
have that spirituality the hikup and VictorBrick Jacobs is on standby and five seventy
(23:52):
l A sports Fred. Thank youvery much to Vinnie bonson Yor for joining
us. Also, we absolutely positivelycan never get out of here without getting
in some spirituality. So let's doit now, Sit back, relaxed,
get ready for it. The haikupat two. We welcome on my man,
(24:26):
Victor, Breck Jacobs and Vic.Good afternoon, well being immersed in
the Reggie Bush chaos, counting downto his sixth ranked Trojans opening this Saturday
(24:49):
night at the Colleague against San JoseyStay, Rodney Pete fight on VP B.
He's in for Fred Rogan, formerUCLA bruin, ten years in the
association and still crashing glass. RyanHollins Brick, I'm over here tearing up
(25:11):
Brick out of happiness. These aretears of joy, Brick, I love
you brother. He wont mente andhe is fluid like water. Look,
Kevin thinks y'all come on now andthrowing down the soundtrack of our lives Runny
(25:32):
fossilvor now. Yeah, I justwant to touch him on the Reggie Bushel
lawsuit against NC double eight. Yeah, and fellas, let's face it,
they took his heisman away, whathe did with the Pete Carrot Trojans and
(25:53):
taking keep taking that away when theassociated when this NA is such an archaic
association anyway, Yes, I meanthis lawsuit I believes gould have stand up.
This defamation lawsuit is gonna stand up. He's going to get his hysman
back. What do you guys think, Oh, yeah, they got to
give him his hysman back to It'sridiculous. That's ridiculous. And if they
(26:14):
don't do anything, you're the mana hysman back. Well, and what
they're claiming is that it was payingfor play. So like if he hadn't
gotten the benefits that he got fromthe Michael Michaels wherever those people's names are,
that he wouldn't have played at USC. He was already there. Yea.
Makes seem like he was gonna transferor go somewhere else if he didn't
get those things, which was ridiculous. And yeah, because he whatever they're
claiming he did or taking money orwhatever it is it claims, would have
(26:38):
made him a two steps slower, right, you know, not as not
as fast, not as strong. He wouldn't have scored those touchdowns. I
mean, come on, and let'sface it, this pay for play is
so nebulous anyway. I mean theNC double, I really had no no
clue what they were doing at thattime. And I said, that's eighteen
(27:00):
years ago. I took two thousandand five. There's still a bowl of
confusion. Listen, kudos to theClippers. You know, they're open training
camp, Ryan went of the formersquads. They'll be in Hawaii in October
and they're donating all money from theirOctober eighth exhibition with UTAH at the University
(27:25):
of Hawaii Manoah to the Hawaii CommunityFoundation, Maui's Strong Fund helping the wildfire
disaster victims in Lahinah. It's avery classy move by the Clippers. M
M, good stuff, good stuff. Wow. I'm a little nervous about
(27:45):
al Tani sick. Yeah, yeah, yeah, Vic, I mean Yin
Yang in Anaheim today in the firstof two against the Cincinnati Reds, the
y al Tani sign crushes home numberforty four in the first standing against the
Ridge three run shot Jan drew Janforty four in Japanese. Yarn. Yeah,
(28:11):
he leaves all of baseball at homeruns with forty four, just pasted
Olsen of the at L But thenthe Yang he gets four outs and then
he is a fatigue and that's that'stough. And he's been complaining of a
fatigue the last few weeks taking outof the game. But we wish old
(28:36):
Tiny sarn you know, a quickheel to the arm. But you're right,
is this it for Old Tiny sagnon the mount? You know he's
gonna keep hitting. Yeah, ankeep you, But do you in danger
your arm? I mean, theangels are out of it. Let's face
it. Even though Trouty came backlast night and then feel single for my
trout But even the assertion of Troutyinto the mix, you're gonna make up
(28:59):
ten games, you know with thelike forty left, forty two left,
whatever it is, you know, with a pitching staff and tatas Yeah,
yeah, big. So you're right, have to be shutting down off Altani
sun Is on the mound is agood idea. Just let him hit altany
(29:21):
sun Is. He's a wonder,he says. You know, he's a
Mount Fuji Sun of Matsueta. He'sstill an incredible hit up. Don't let
him hit and to do not indanger that armand he's he's you know,
he's fard off blisters this year. The arm fatigue. He's tired. He's
tired. Yeah, because you don'twhen you're fatigue. You're tired, obviously
(29:44):
your mechanics start to go vic That'sthe time when guys get hurt is when
you are tired and you start tocompensate for other things and boom, you're
pulling a muscle or you're twisting aknee. Uh, you're you're overthrowing.
In his case, no, it'sit's a dangerous time right now. If
he's suffering with the fatigue factor.I wouldn't mess around with that. And
(30:07):
we really looked past the durability ofthought, Tiny Sign. What he's been
doing, you know, pitching andhitting. I mean he's got a big
body. He's a big dude.Man. He's very, very tough dude
to endure, you know, bothpitching and hitting. That's all very most
most often overlooked abot Tiny's incredible qualities. It's so strong, Yeah, and
(30:34):
just an iron will basically the ironwill. Although Tiny Sign is really overlooked.
You look at the home, youlook at the numbers as staggering,
you know, mind blowing the wholething. But his his spirit and iron
will are just boundless. Yeah,he says, my arm hearts. You
just take him out bad. Youdon't need a translator. You don't need
(30:56):
it. The it is translator tous, say, you know, Tiny
sounds tired. Just just you'll takehim out of the game. He'll usually
put on without hesitated to take himout, Vic, I didn't realize when
I saw him, I got achance to see him up close. I
didn't realize how big he was.Big boy. He's a big boy.
(31:18):
So yeah, I wouldn't even messwith that. If I'm his people on
mis camp, if i'm him,I'm going and say, listen, I
uh, we got a month left. I probably would have only have what
four more starts at most. I'mnot I'm not going. I'm not doing
that. I'm not going. Hey, Vic, hold on the whole type
for a second. Vic, We'llget that high coup on the other side,
(31:38):
because I know it's a beautiful onecoming for us, because we need
that spirituality, Vig. It's awhole time. Hold tight, old tight,
