Speaker 1 (00:01):
One thing about this gene is the invisible and tangibles
that they have.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
This team is really becoming a family.

Speaker 3 (00:09):
Let's not play one on Tom.

Speaker 4 (00:10):
Let's wind it.

Speaker 5 (00:11):
I love writing these guys out to the show. Just
thank you, give me are.

Speaker 6 (00:15):
Your attention, your fire and not a pistons.

Speaker 7 (00:17):
This is world champion, Dodgers, world champion.

Speaker 6 (00:21):
For a small soft time. They get up people. What
they want to doe to in a row two is special.
I'm like, yeah, it's not a headache. One of this
ball's gone. You ready to go? Sure, held, time to
grab your phone.

Speaker 7 (00:36):
To get in on the show called eight six six
nine eighty seven two five seven.

Speaker 6 (00:40):
And go to the show.

Speaker 7 (00:41):
And now your host of Dodger Talk, Tim Kakes, Frenny
Freeman does it again.

Speaker 6 (00:49):
Yeah, I wasn't.

Speaker 8 (00:49):
Game one of the World Series against the Yankees and
Extra Indians, Bud. The Dodgers needed to win desperately today.
They were down to their final out, they were down
to their final strike, and Freddie Freeman delivers with a
two out, two run walk off single to left just
underneath the diving glove of Harrison Bader and left field

(01:10):
for the Minnesota Twins. As the Dodgers come back and
win it four to three eight six six nine eight
seven two five seventy is our number eight sixty six
nine eighty seven to two five seventy. Jump on board.
We got a line open for a Dodger fan to
join us. As the Dodgers take two to three from
the Minnesota Twins, it ends what it was a disappointing
homestand to start the second half of the season, they

(01:32):
go two to four against the Brewers and the Twins
in this six game homestand that started on Friday night.
The Dodgers, though, improved a sixty and forty three overall
on this season. So the Dodgers, now with the win,
still remain at top the NL West, and now they've
got a four and a half game lead over the
San Diego Padres, who lost earlier today. They remain six

(01:55):
games up on the San Francisco Giants who won earlier today,
ten games up on the Arizona Diamondback. So the Dodgers
do pick up a game on San Diego who lost
in Miami. So that is a good note for the
Dodgers as they now embark on a long East Coast
road trip that I'll have two days off, including one
tomorrow and one next Thursday, the day of the MLB

(02:18):
trade deadline, as the Dodgers now head to Boston, Cincinnati,
and Tampa against three teams fighting for playoff spots, but
really not in their own divisional playoff races, fighting for
wild card spots in the American League and the National League.
Eight six, six, nine eighty seven, two five seventy A
lot right today, but a lot.

Speaker 6 (02:40):
Wrong today for the Dodgers. We'll start with the good.
Tyler Glass Now was fantastic.

Speaker 8 (02:46):
Tyler Glass Now seven innings, one run, three hits, twelve strikeouts.
I mentioned in the Clubous Show. He struck out six
of the final seven batters that he faced. He had
a strikeout in every single inning of work today. He
started off the first, the second, the fourth, the fifth,
and the sixth with strikeouts. He had all of his

(03:08):
pitches working, and he ended the seventh inning with a
strikeout on a ninety five mile an hour fastball up
and in the zone for his twelfth strikeout of the game.
In three starts, he's gone five innings one run, six
innings one run, and today seven innings one run, along

(03:28):
with the twelve strikeouts. He has looked fantastic since missing
two months on the injured list. Hopefully this can continue
for Tyler Glass now in this Dodger's rotation. He left
the game with a two to one lead thanks to
show hey Otani's fifth straight home run in the first

(03:49):
inning Tommy Emans RBI single, The Dodgers had a two
to one lead. That was good and then the bad.
The Dodgers' bullpen has just not been to par. It's
gotten progressively worse going into the All Star break, and
since the All Star break has not gotten any better.

(04:09):
In fact, it's gotten worse. The Dodgers going into this
game today, the struggle was real. The last three games.
They had to combine fourteen and two third innings, eleven runs,
fifteen hits, and thirteen walks to go with two injuries
to Tanner Scott and the calf spasm injury last night

(04:34):
to Ben Casparius. Thirteen walks in fourteen and two third innings.
Last night, two different Dodger relievers walk the bases loaded.
The Dodgers lost last night. Today, Kirby Yates comes in
in the eighth inning and walks the bases loaded. On
eighteen pitches, six of which were strikes. He left the

(04:59):
game and left alex Vessi out there to try to
clean up the mess that he put out there on
the mount. With the bases loaded, alex Vesi got a
six four to three double play that brought in the
tying run, and then an infield single just over the
mound by Harrison Bader sort of into no man's land
with Mookie Betts playing back and when Miguel Rojas playing back,

(05:21):
both of them charged the ball and Rojas just couldn't
make a play, and that gave the Twins a three
to two leave both runs going against Kirby Yates because
he walked the basses loaded. I thought alex Vesi had
pitched well to get out of the jam and really
limit it to those two. In those two runs that scored,
it could have been a lot worse. Anthony Bonda struck

(05:43):
out three, walked, got around an infield single in the
ninth pitched well to keep it right at a three
to two game. That was important, and then the ninth inning.
The ninth inning was some back and forth. Rocko blog
Delhi I thought made a very interesting move in the
ninth inning. Griffin Jackson comes in to close it out

(06:06):
for the Twins, gets Tommy Edman to line out, gets
Michael Conforto to line out to short four pitches from
the Twins reliever Griffin Jacks and the Dodgers already had
two outs and down to their final out and on
the verge of losing a series to the Minnesota Twins.
Mookie Betts, on the sixth pitch of his at bat,

(06:28):
hits an infield single, beats out the throw.

Speaker 6 (06:31):
All right, little two out magic.

Speaker 8 (06:32):
Maybe Rocco Baldelli intentionally walked show Hey Otani intentionally walked
him With MOOKI bets the tie run already at first
to now put the tie and run at second and
the go ahead winning run at first base with two outs.
Coliny and I were both looking at each other, and
Colin Lisa, I don't like it, I said, I get it.

(06:55):
I understand what Roco Baldelli's doing because you look at
the on deck circle and you see as twtyiz on deck,
and I got Shoe a Otani in the box saying
hello to the umpire, and I'm like, uh uh, I
don't want to pitch the show Aotani. If the Dodgers
are gonna beat me. This is Roco Baldelli's thinking, and
I get it. Three to two, lead, tie run at first,

(07:17):
two outs. If this team's gonna beat me at Dodger Stadium,
it's gonna be because as too Riuise does it not
shoe Aotani, So he walks show Hey runners on first
and second, still two outs to face as Toury Ruiz
ball one, ball two, ball three, Griffin Jacks wasn't even close.

(07:40):
Finally gets a called strike on a sweeper three and
one and then misses on a sweeper again high in
the zone. He walked as Touriuise. The strategy from Rocco
Baldelli completely backfired. When your reliever goes and walks the
guy you want to pitch too because his name is
doesn't show Ayotani. It's two of you, Luise, but you

(08:04):
can't walk as Turi Ruiz there and the Dodgers said,
thank you very much, you want to walk him, We'll
gladly take it and give the bat to Freddy Freeman.
Now with the bases loaded and a chance for a
base knock to tie the game or win it. And
what does Freddy do? Take strike one looking, what does
Freddy do? Takes strike two looking, gets a low ball

(08:28):
out of the zone for ball one, fouls off a
four seam fastball I one and two count and another
four seam fastball that Griffin Jacks missed on by the way,
and what a great piece of hitting it from Freddy
Freeman hits it the other way to left field. Harrison
Bader made a great attempt to get it, almost had
it goes just underneath his glove and falls in for

(08:50):
a hit and two runs score the Dodgers win.

Speaker 6 (08:54):
I mean, that's a lot of happening there in the ninth.
Then he with two outs.

Speaker 8 (08:57):
That's a lot to digest in any game, but for
two outs in the ninth. To see what transpired with
the infield single for Mookie betts Otani intentionally walked to
get to his TWITYA Luise, who then was walked on
five pitches for some reason, and then Freddie Freeman walks
it off. You walk as Twity de Luise like that

(09:18):
to load the bases.

Speaker 6 (09:19):
You deserve to lose the game, You deserve to.

Speaker 9 (09:23):
Get walked off because you're giving Freddie Freeman the opportunity
to do it, and he did exactly that sixteenth walk
off hit for.

Speaker 8 (09:33):
Freddie Freeman in this game today, and for Freddie Freeman
the most walk off hits and RBI have any active player.
With his sixteenth career walk off hit with that two
run single, Dodgers say thank you. They take the win,
they take two to three from the Twins, and they
now head. He's feeling pretty good about themselves, all right.

(09:55):
Eight sixty six, nine eighty seven, two five seventy Bob
leaving Dodger Stadium's first up here on Dodge Talk.

Speaker 6 (10:01):
How you doing, Bob?

Speaker 4 (10:03):
I'm good. How about you?

Speaker 8 (10:04):
I'm fantastic. I feel a lot better than I did
with two outs in the ninth.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Yeah, we we were very pleasantly surprised. Big Duncher fan
here usually talk to you in the morning and during
the postseason. But I have a couple things. First of all,
I think the batting order needs to be have show
Hay farther down either about three or four. I think
having Tay, Oscar and Freddy and show Hey they're all

(10:33):
interchangeable three four five, I think sho Hey would be
hitting a lot more to RBIs he's only got what
seventy and he's got thirty seven home runs, so it's
not even two for each home run. That's number one.
And I think Mookie needs to be in the outfield.
I think it's affecting him. He got lucky today, but
I think he'd be a better hitter if he was

(10:54):
in the outfield. I realize we got infield issues right now,
but that's just what I.

Speaker 8 (10:59):
Think, all right, Bob, appreciate the phone call. I don't
see that move to the outfield happening anytime soon. I
think there's other glaring issues that the Dodgers at this
point need to get fixed and need to get right fast.
And I think the bullpen is number one on the list.
And with Tanner Scott struggling now hurt.

Speaker 6 (11:15):
How long is he going to be out?

Speaker 8 (11:16):
We don't know, certainly better than we thought it was
gonna be when he comes out of the game with
his tingling in his elbow, in his forearm, and Kirby
Yates struggles as real folks, I mean, Kirby Yates has
been up and down, Tanner Scott's been up and down.
You think about the consistent guys in the bullpen for
the Dodgers, I throw up Alex VESSI as one of
those names. Jack Dryer has been one of those names.

(11:37):
Ben Ksparius was one of those names until he got
the Curse of the Petrols.

Speaker 6 (11:41):
Some money show.

Speaker 8 (11:43):
He has not pitched well, and certainly the calf last
night was barking and he walked the bases loaded. The
Dodgers could be in the market for a reliever come
the trade deadline, which is next Thursday.

Speaker 6 (11:55):
We'll find out. I know David Veste has talked about it.

Speaker 8 (11:58):
The Dodgers could use another bat the outfields, but certainly
bullpen arms are something the Dodgers could use. I mean,
if they start getting healthy with the rotation and bringing
back Blake Snell and getting back with Blake trying will
certainly help. You wonder where some of these arms like
Dustin may fit into the rotation and could he be
a bullpen help for this Dodger team the final two

(12:19):
months of the season.

Speaker 6 (12:20):
We'll find out. Blake, Oh, yes, this is our guy, Blake.
Go to Blake first? Or Tony.

Speaker 8 (12:26):
Let's go to Tony first. All right, Tony in Colorado?
Who is Blake's dad?

Speaker 6 (12:31):
Joins us? Now, Tony, welcome to Dodger Talk. How you doing, sir? Tony.
Tony you there, Tony going once. Oh you're there. I
hear you. Yeah, go ahead, Tony, you're on the air.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
Sorry man, I'm delivering door dash. I'm sorry.

Speaker 8 (12:49):
Oh, no problem, no pro Hopefully you got the order
right and everything was delivered. Okay, you get us a
nice little five star rating there, you.

Speaker 3 (12:57):
Know, seriously. So here's the deal. So I want to
talk about Alex Vesia for a second. He has pitched
phenomenal and I'm not going to talk just about his pitching.
I'm going to talk about what he did for my son, Blake.
So we go to different stadiums every year. So Alex
remembered us from Pittsburgh last year and here it went.

(13:18):
I'm in Denver, so I course field for their first series.
Here at curs Field, Alice came up to us, gave
us the ball and it was phenomenal. So my son
has autism. He is a special young man. And we
gave Alex Vesia in Milwaukee book. And the book was
about a girl who has autism and she befriends a pitcher.

(13:44):
And this girl is a knuckleball pitcher, and so is
the baseball player she friends. And so I got an idea,
and I said, I want to give Alex a copy
of this book. I want him to read it, and
I want him to sign a copy for my son
in Milwaukee. Would give him a copy and Alex find
the copy for my son. Now, the whole thing, Alix

(14:06):
has been picturing phenomenal. The Dodgers. Yeah, they've been going
up and down. We're huge Dodger fans. Blake and I
he's fourteen years old, love the Dodgers. But for Alex
to take the time to actually talk to my son,
my fourteen year old son who have autism, and just
spend the time with him and just acknowledge my son

(14:27):
every time we are at different stadiums to watch Dodgers,
it's something that it's undescribable. Yeah, and you know, Alex
is one of it that has been one of our
best bullpen pictures probably over the last month. Yes, and
you know he's been has been phenomenal. And you know,
the last message that Alex set my son, Blake, he

(14:49):
said on his Instagram. He shared his Instagram with us
and he said, Blake, you are my number one hero
and you are awesome. And so for Alex to do that,
you know, it's I want the world and I want
everybody to know these baseball players, you know, they you
know sometimes they have their up and downs. But for
for what he did for my son, and I appreciate

(15:11):
you taking my call, but I just you know, I
wanted you to hear that and I wanted to hear
that story. It's phenomenal. So my son has been to
seventeen stadiums. We're hoping to hit nineteen next year.

Speaker 6 (15:21):
So that's awesome.

Speaker 8 (15:22):
We'll tell you we're gonna check him with Blake right now,
Thank you, Tony. We're gonna check in with mister Blake
in Colorado. Because Blake is dad mentioned has been now
to seventeen ballparks, Milwaukee being the last ballpark that he
was at Kansas City Kaufman Stadium.

Speaker 6 (15:38):
He can check that off his list.

Speaker 8 (15:39):
He could also check Colorado off his list, having got
to see the Dodgers there, Blake, Big Dodger win today.
How about Alex VESSI had come in and getting it
done and he ateh inning and then Freddie Freeman delivered
in the ninth inning.

Speaker 6 (15:52):
Good day to be a Dodger fan, Blake.

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Wyoh it is I'm really happy day.

Speaker 9 (15:59):
Rhying.

Speaker 8 (16:01):
It is a great day for them, and I think
Tyler Glass now pitched fantastic seven innings, twelve strikeouts. You've
been to the seventeen ballparks. What did you think of Milwaukee?
I don't think we've checked in with you since you
went to Milwaukee, and I think it's called America First
Stadium there. What did you think of the ballpark in
Milwaukee when you saw the Dodgers play there?

Speaker 1 (16:21):
It was really really good? I really really liked it.

Speaker 8 (16:25):
Was it was it better than Kansas City and Colorado?
Or which one of those three was the best this
summer that you got.

Speaker 1 (16:31):
To go to Blake, Well that not my full time
being in Colwada bea coach field because I've been to
coach field a lot of time. O go like I
go like during the summertime to Milwaukee's game Warre Milwaukee's
eem a week and there's a guy at they haven't

(16:51):
got Sana. I know that, and I do not like me,
so they make me a GLOCHI used it a GLOCHI
at the ham and go stand at this place it's
called Helton's Burgo, And that makes me a glotes And
to give me a gloateeese and a drink for fully.

Speaker 8 (17:12):
Blake, you're scoring with those grilled cheese at Helton's corner
there at Coors Field.

Speaker 6 (17:17):
That's awesome.

Speaker 8 (17:18):
Right now, do you have any Rockies games lined up
the rest of the summer. I mean it's it's July
now in the baseball season. It's got about two months left, Blake,
you got any more games, you're gonna be going.

Speaker 1 (17:28):
To not wait now?

Speaker 6 (17:32):
Okay?

Speaker 8 (17:32):
Okay, all right, Well, if you get out to some
more games, definitely check in with this Blake.

Speaker 6 (17:37):
Always a great time to check in with you.

Speaker 8 (17:39):
We've been documenting your schedule and and your visits to
Kansas City and then Milwaukee before the All Star breaks.
So hopefully the Dodgers can do something here at the
trade deadline to make this team even better. And I
think something special is brewed with this team, and then
once they get back on track, Blake, Yeah, I'm with you, buddy.

Speaker 6 (17:58):
All right. Great to hear from you. Thanks for checking in,
and we'll talk to you later.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Fuckula.

Speaker 6 (18:04):
All right, Blake, my man.

Speaker 8 (18:06):
Yeah, Blake and Colorado checking in again. I said it
a couple of weeks ago when he checked in here
on Dodger talk. What a great experience to go and
see different ballparks around the contract. I got friends right
now who are in Toronto as we speak, watching the
Yankees and the Blue Jays play, and then they're gonna
go to Cleveland, they're gonna go to Cincinnati. They're making

(18:29):
a trek to see four ballparks during their summer vacation.
So yeah, it's a lot of things, a lot of
fun times for people to go do that and see
different experiences. And when you can see the Dodgers play
in those ballparks, it's even more special. But certainly just
to go and see baseball in a different atmosphere, changing
up a little bit is certainly fun as well. Eight
sixty six nine eighty seven two five seven. We'll take

Now time to hit the road for a nine game
road trip beginning Friday in Boston against the Red Sox
Ken in Newport Beach. Welcome to Dodger Talk on this
Wednesday afternoon. Ken, How you doing, My friend.

Speaker 5 (20:49):
Hi, timih. I was having a small nervous breakdown during
this game, and it gild me a couple of reasons.
Last two games, the Dog relievers have walked nine batters.
And if I'm the manager and I see a guy
out there walk one, okay, if fixed two pitches or balls,

(21:11):
I yank him so fast. Dave just watched and that
didn't work, and it was really hurting.

Speaker 6 (21:19):
They couldn't pull him out them can They couldn't pull
him out?

Speaker 5 (21:23):
He's gotta wait until how many.

Speaker 6 (21:24):
Batteries three batter minimum?

Speaker 5 (21:27):
Yeah? I know, all right. Here's my other complaint. So
you decided to put Mookie as lead off. He's three
for twenty eight. Is that move? So the only thing
you've done is take well, the worst hitters on your
team right now hitting two thirty seven, and you have
him as a leadoff hitter. That isn't gonna work until

(21:49):
he makes change because once you've got is almost an
absolute out every time he's up. So I think you
got to drop him back down four fifth. Yeah, you know,
i'd him as your leadoff hitter because he's hitting the
ball and he's got speed.

Speaker 8 (22:09):
I don't think they're gonna mess with him anymore? Can
I appreciate the phone call? I don't think you sit
there and look at Mookie Bets and say, okay, we're
gonna move him a third time now to a different
spot in the lineup. You move him back to leadoff.
He's comfortable there, He's hit there a lot in his career.
You get him around familiar settings, you get him mentally right,
and hopefully he can flip the switch offensively that infield

(22:29):
single today. I'd like to look at this as all right,
maybe this is the start of something. Now for Mookie
going back to Boston. Now we're seeing he may not
play Friday because of a personal issue. But when he
gets back out there with the Dodgers, hopefully it's a
it's a Mookie Bets that's starting to write a little
bit more of confidence at the plate and today gets

(22:49):
on base with an infield single. Certainly zero for four
last night, but he's cutting down on the strikeouts over
the last five games. That's a positive putting the ball
in play. Hopefully he just starts find green out there
and Mooki can start getting some positive results. It is
interesting to see that we had another situation where Mookie
Betts came up with two outs in a ninth inning

(23:11):
with shoe Ayotani on deck, and it could have been
a second time in this homestand that we've seen Mookie
Betts get the final out with shoe Heyotani sitting in
the on deck circle or standing there getting ready. So
with that being said, that's that's the one flip side
to having Otani not in the lead off is maybe
he doesn't get that at bet in the ninth inning

(23:32):
like we had twice now in this homestand as it
turns out, Moki with two outs gets an infield single
and we do get to Otani who walked there in
the ninth. Intentionally Bruce in north Ridge. You're in the
eight one to eight checks in on Dodger Talk.

Speaker 6 (23:45):
How you doing, Bruce, good tim, how are you.

Speaker 2 (23:48):
It's great to talk.

Speaker 6 (23:49):
To you, Great to talk to you. It's all your mind.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
So on my mind is the bullpen woes. And the
number one thing is I was looking in the paper
today and the Dodger bullpen has thrown four hundred and
fifty and two thirds innings going into today, and I
just don't think that's good at all. Obviously they're overtax.
I think Kirby Yates cannot ever be the closer for
a while until he gets himself put together. And I

(24:14):
think the thing that really drives me crazy is these
free runs we've been giving, whether it be walks Enriquez's throw,
which I still can't believe you made that throw yesterday,
and then and then of course we need a high
leverage close, a high leverage relief pitcher, so I think
from the trade block. So what's your thought on that.

Speaker 8 (24:36):
Well, here's the I appreciate the phone call. This is
my problem is that during the off season this was addressed.
You gave Tanner Scott four years seventy two million dollars.

Speaker 6 (24:49):
He's getting an.

Speaker 8 (24:50):
Average of eighteen million dollars. You brought in Kirby Eights
on a one year, thirteen million dollar deal.

Speaker 6 (24:59):
I wasn't a math major. I was a history major.

Speaker 8 (25:01):
But thirteen and eighteen colin thirty one million dollars, right, yeah,
thirty one million dollars. You are paying two high end
relievers who are closers by trade, who are proven closers.
You brought in not one, but two of them to
solve your problem, and neither have done it. Neither have

(25:27):
been very good. Neither have gone out and said, all right,
I'm the closer. No more bullpen by committee, closer by committee.
I'll be the ninth inning guy. I'll be the final
three out guy. I'll be the final one out guy.
All close the door on games. And that has led
to the problem. It's constantly searching for who will be

(25:48):
that guy because it's supposed to be Tanner Scott or
Kirby Yates, and heck, if both of them are right,
there's maybe two innings out of the bullpen. That takes
you to the end of a game. And when you
got Tyler Glass now going seven today and shoving like
he was with the twelve strikeouts and the whiffs that
he was getting left and right.

Speaker 6 (26:08):
You should be able to turn it over to Kirby Yates.

Speaker 8 (26:11):
And I know Tanner Scott's hurt, but Kirby Yates, Alex
Vessio with a combination whatever it is to get six outs. Instead,
you walk the bases loaded, and Dave Roberts has got
to go out and get you, and Alex Vessi has
gotta get out of the mess somehow, some way. So
that's my problem is you're gonna go to the trade
deadline with other needs. I mean, you need another bat

(26:31):
off the bench. They made me need another outfield starter
if Michael Conforto isn't the answer. But now you've got
an issue with a bullpen and a closer. Okay, so
now your prospects or your needs are gonna go to
fix up that problem. That was a problem you were
supposed to address in the offseason, and you thought you
did so. Again, we'll find out next Thursday when the

(26:54):
trade deadline gets here. But the market for a closer
is gonna be high because now we're seeing teams into
this wild Card. All right, we're three four games out.
We may still fight's not become sellers. We're gonna be
buyers and try to improve with a player or two
to get back into this wildcar race and get into
the postseason tournament. So the market could be small, could

(27:17):
be more buyers than sellers, and that means the price
goes up, and the Dodgers are going to be asking,
you know, to get a reliever, a closer, and it's
going to cost them a lot.

Speaker 6 (27:27):
So we'll see. Let's go back out to Dodger Stadium.

Speaker 8 (27:29):
Let's hear from Dodger manager Dave Roberts on a wild
day at the Ravine.

Speaker 4 (27:34):
It's today.

Speaker 10 (27:35):
It was fantastic and we got him into the seventh inning. Gosh,
he was really good, command, delivery, rhythm, all that stuff,
and you know, to give us seven innings was huge,
and you know, we found a way to win a
baseball game somehow, and feels good to win a series
and just to kind of stabilize the rotation was fantastic.

Speaker 7 (28:00):
Talked about just any wery or a few days missing there,
what did you see just from his suite in the
walks and as he is also something close.

Speaker 6 (28:07):
To get back the podcast.

Speaker 10 (28:09):
Yeah, he just you know right now where his his
split is at. It's been non competitive and just no
command of it. And so that's kind of where he's at.
So we got to keep running him out there, kind
of working on some things with the delivery, if that's
what it is. I'm sure there's a little bit of

(28:29):
confidence that's bled in or lack thereof, and you know,
hopefully this off day gives him a chance to reset.
But he's got a very good track record, and you know,
I've got to continue to show confidence in him.

Speaker 6 (28:45):
You guys, just coplining.

Speaker 8 (28:46):
You bolt back to when does one hand thing go
on your longest road trip on.

Speaker 4 (28:49):
The second half?

Speaker 8 (28:51):
Is it fair to.

Speaker 3 (28:52):
Suggest maybe that this could be sort of the turn
of the corner?

Speaker 10 (28:56):
I hope. So I think that how we got here
today showing the fight, the you know, willing ourselves to
you know, get Freddy at bat, to you know, Freddy
to take probably his best wing he has in a month,
and to win a game like that. I'd like to
think that we can. That's the momentum building. Yeah, I

(29:20):
mean Tommy had a big situational at bat right there.
So getting Tyler back healthy and throwing the baseball the
way he has and so I expect Emmett on Friday
to come back and keep that momentum going and bounce
back from his last one. But yeah, and then that's
where it starts. You know, you get Emmett, and you
get Clayton, and then you get you know, whoever's going

(29:43):
on Sunday to kind of keep that thing going.

Speaker 8 (29:45):
It's testin May. Getting the start on Sunday at Finway Park.
Is the Dodgers hope to ride that momentum with the
day off tomorrow, then at Fenway Park on Friday against
the Boston Red Sox.

Speaker 6 (29:55):
That's gonna do it for Dodge Talk.

Speaker 8 (29:56):
