Speaker 1 (00:01):
One thing about this gem is the invisible and tangibles
that they have.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
This team is really becoming a family.
Speaker 3 (00:09):
Let's not play one on Tom.
Speaker 4 (00:10):
Let's wind it.
Speaker 1 (00:11):
I love writing these guys after the show.
Speaker 2 (00:13):
So just thank you, give me are.
Speaker 5 (00:15):
Your attention, your fire and not a pisson.
Speaker 6 (00:17):
This is world champion, Dodgers, world championing for a.
Speaker 5 (00:21):
Small soft time they get a people what they want
to die in a row two is special. I'm like, yeah,
it's not a headache one of the cop This balls gone.
You ready to go?
Speaker 7 (00:32):
Sure?
Speaker 8 (00:33):
Hell old time to the sound grab your phone.
Speaker 6 (00:36):
To get in on the show called eight six six
nine eighty seven two five seven. I'll go to the show.
And now your host of Dodger Talk, Tim Kakes.
Speaker 7 (00:45):
Oh what a road it was in twenty twenty five
for your Los Angeles Dodgers. You're defending World Series champions.
They've had a bulls eye on their back since spring training.
Heck since the offseason when teams tried to reload, teams
tried to get a rosters. Better to go against the
Dodgers in twenty twenty five and compete in the National
(01:07):
League and try to match up in this World Series
in twenty twenty five. How far wild the postseason run
go we'll find out beginning next week. But today a
day to celebrate a long twenty twenty five regular season,
one hundred and sixty two games with three to go
up in Seattle. But what a season for the Dodgers.
The hunted all year long, every series, they got the
(01:30):
best from the Marlins, the Brewers, the Reds, the Mariners.
They got the best from the Giants and the A's.
Everybody they faced, the Pirates. Everybody on their Dodgers schedule
this year gave it their best against the Dodgers, wanting
to knock off the world champions. Whether it was a
three game set or a four game set, whether it
was pre All Star Break or post All Star Break,
(01:52):
the Dodgers every single day got everybody's best, And quite frankly,
that's a hard thing to live up to as the
defending champions. As a team with superstars up and down,
this lineup to be the hunted every single day. It's
not a seventeen game NFL season. It's not an eighty
two game NBA season with days off in between. All
(02:14):
these games you pretty much play every day. You get
like twelve fifteen days off over the course of six months.
Speaker 5 (02:21):
That's it.
Speaker 7 (02:22):
You play a marathon of a season, and this was
a marathon in which the Dodgers had people tracking him
down all the way. And there's been ups, there's been downs,
there's been some blown games, there's been some series they
should have won, there's been some certainly stretches the Dodgers
would want back. But when you look back on this
(02:44):
twenty twenty five season, there's still three games to go
in Seattle, and the Dodgers can get to the ninety one,
ninety two or ninety three win mark at this point
of the season, whatever they do in Seattle. But to
get to this point and win the division again through
the ups and the downs and the end that this
team has been through says a lot and speaks a
lot about what this Dodgers team and organization is about.
(03:07):
And quite frankly, the depth that this Dodgers team has
built up over the years, even after a World championship
season last year, reloading loading up in the bullpen with
guys they thought would be big time relievers that maybe
necessarily didn't pan out for them. In Kirby Yates and Tanners,
Scott Young, arms asked to carry the loading stretches. Signing
(03:29):
Roki Sasaki in the offseason, pitched well early on, and
then we didn't see him from May, June, July, August
until here last night. His return on the mound in
relief out of the bullpen. The injuries to guys like
Max Munci who had to deal with injuries. Tommy Edmond
has been on the injured list a lot this year,
(03:49):
bothered by the ankle. This is a Dodgers team that
grinded and went through a season hunted by everybody. And
when it's all all said and done and the dust
settles here on twenty twenty five, and there's still three
games to go, but they can check a box, and
it's the box they want to check first every single year,
(04:11):
win the division. And they can check that box right now.
NL West Champs twenty twenty five.
Speaker 5 (04:21):
Done.
Speaker 7 (04:22):
They've accomplished the first goal. They've accomplished that first task
on the list that they all look at and put
together in spring training, the Camelback Ranch, every team across baseball.
First goal, win your division. You got to get to
the tournament and by doing so, win your division, be
the best in your division in the American International League,
(04:45):
and the Dodgers, now for the twelve time and thirteen years,
have won that division, the NL West, and they did
so leading for a lot of the year, then giving
up that lead, the Padres nipping on their heels, seeing
San Francisco go on a month long run in which
they were back in the fight for the NL West
(05:06):
and the wild card hunt until reality hit them square
in the face and their back is a team looking
on the outside in as far as October is concerned.
But man, you have to take a second to reflect,
Dodger fans, what this season has been about and the
accomplishment of that first box being checked. Win the division
(05:28):
eight sixty six nine eight seven to two five seventy.
A lot of you just think, oh hohm, win the
division they're supposed to do.
Speaker 5 (05:36):
That doesn't happen. Doesn't happen.
Speaker 7 (05:40):
The Dodgers have dominated, but yet they've done so with
different teams, different styles, different groups of players making it happen.
Speaker 5 (05:49):
And this year is no different.
Speaker 7 (05:51):
Yes, superstars from Otani all the way down, but breakout
seasons from Andy Piez.
Speaker 5 (05:57):
Then you look at the flip side of it.
Speaker 7 (05:58):
They sign a one year deal to Michael Conforto to
play left field, and he has not played to what
the Dodgers thought he was gonna be about at all
this year at all, And that's putting it nicely. The
Dodgers signing high Sun Kim and quite frankly contributed at times.
Hopefully he'll be a big part of this October run,
(06:20):
but we didn't see a lot out of him, and
he was an offseason pickup. Blake Snell, Yeah, when healthy,
Blake Snell has been fantastic.
Speaker 5 (06:27):
Eleven starts. That's it.
Speaker 7 (06:29):
Eleven starts for Blake Snell and now the best I
think is still to come for him. In twenty twenty five,
rested not a lot of mileage on that arm this year,
and now you've got a Blake Snell who you know,
compared to Yoshiyamamoto innings wise, starts wise, I mean, Yamamoto
today made.
Speaker 5 (06:48):
His thirtieth start of this season.
Speaker 7 (06:53):
Yamamoto has pitched one hundred and seventy five I'm guessing
off the top of my head innings.
Speaker 5 (06:59):
This year year.
Speaker 7 (07:01):
Blake snells nowhere near that as far as mileage, wear
and tear in twenty twenty five. But yet he's rested
and ready to go. I feel good about where this
team is lining up come the postseason. Now we'll see
who they face in the Wildcard round on Tuesday, Wednesday,
and if necessary, Thursday. Coming up here the next few days,
(07:22):
and we got a big one coming up at Wrigley
Field between the Cubs and the Mets getting underway here
shortly as the Dodgers wait to see will it be Cincinnati,
will it be New York? The Mets currently with a
half game lead the Reds one early year. Today, a
Mets loss and they are tied in the division or
they're tied in the wildcard race for that third spot
(07:43):
going into the final three games this weekend, and the
Dodgers will wait and see which one of those teams
they face. I think the loss today for the Diamondbacks
pretty much leaves them out of the postseason race. It
would have to be a disastrous weekend for both the
Mets and the Reds in order the Arizona Diamondbacks do
they get back into the wildcard race for that third
(08:03):
and final spot. But quite frankly, a game and a
half back as we speak, it could go to two games.
I think Arizona game it a shot, even though they're
the team that throw up the white flag at the
trade deadline making those moves, they made a valiant effort
to get back into this race with the arms and
the lineups they had out there after the trade deadline.
But I think it comes to an end, and it
(08:24):
did so by the Dodgers taking two to three in Arizona,
and quite frankly, the Dodgers should have won all three
games in Arizona, but now again three games in Seattle.
Imitt Sheen will get to start on Friday night. Tyler
Glass now goes on Saturday and his final start before
the postseason, and then Clayton Kershaw, which will be fun
to see and hear right here on five seventy LA
(08:45):
Sports on Sunday twelve to ten. First pitch Clayton Kershaw's
final regular season start in his eighteen year Hall of
Fame career as he'll face the Mariners, and then in
come of the postseason, we know his role is going
to be a little different going into October, most likely
as a reliever for Dave Roberts and the Dodgers. Eight
sixty six nine eight seven two five seventy. So I
(09:06):
know there's been a lot of disappointment in games, in series,
and in players that you're not happy with this year.
Speaker 5 (09:14):
You're not happy with the bullpens, certainly.
Speaker 7 (09:17):
But I think it's fair to say, let's take a
second to reflect today and celebrate what the Dodgers just
did winning the NL West for the twelve time in
thirteen years, holding off the Padres, holding off everybody else
in the division, getting to ninety plus wins on the season. Again,
(09:37):
I said it earlier, at least ninety wins in every
full season since twenty thirteen. It's a great accomplishment, it
really is. I don't want to hear, though, right now,
about the bullpen and how guys have blown games and
what do we do with Tanner Scott. That's going to
be figured out in the next couple of days. And
(09:57):
when they make the roster on Tuesday morning and they
announced who's going to be on this wildcard roster, we'll
find out at that moment together what they feel about
their bullpen and what they feel about their best guys
in that series to help them win either against the
Mets or the Reds, and who those relievers be. We're
(10:18):
gonna find out together, because quite Frankly, you could go
with it. Dam and Sheehan, Clayton Kershaw starters now relievers
and some of those guys who have been your relievers
all season long, who have been the arms you've gone to,
they could be left off the postseason roster based on
not getting the job done here in September, down the stretch.
So again, we'll have time to get into that, but
(10:39):
I think today, hey, let's celebrate an NL West championship.
Speaker 5 (10:44):
Let's celebrate the accomplishment of this team. And before you.
Speaker 7 (10:47):
Say, well, they're supposed to win, they got show hey
and Freddie and Mookie. This is a team that is
supposed to win the NL West every single year. Yeah,
it doesn't happen. Though it doesn't happen every single year.
Injuries happen, Teams get hot, teams don't live up to expectations,
guys have down years. All that stuff happens. And for
(11:08):
the Dodgers to have to navigate through injuries, bad seasons,
good seasons, good months, good stretches, bad stretches, persevere through
all of that this year and come out on the
other side here with another NL West championship, it does
speak a lot to this team and the perseverance of
this team at certain points. You can go back to
this season starting in Japan, right, you can go back
(11:30):
to that. You can go back to the early part
of the season, that opening weekend against the Detroit Tigers.
You can go back to the early part of April
and May and different stretches of this season where Okay,
the Dodgers are being carried right now by Yamamoto. Okay, Hey,
Clayton Kershaw is carrying this pitching staff summertime. All right,
this is a Freddie Freeman week, or this is a
(11:52):
Mookie Bets month?
Speaker 5 (11:53):
Oh what happened to Moki here?
Speaker 7 (11:55):
For this stretch of three to four weeks, He's completely disappeared.
Will Mookie Bets ever find his offense yet again?
Speaker 4 (12:01):
You know?
Speaker 7 (12:02):
Michael Conforto, Hey, he hit a home run. Okay, he's
back to struggling. There's been so many ups and downs,
and that's what happens in the season to come out
on the other side champions again in the NL West.
Speaker 5 (12:12):
Again.
Speaker 7 (12:12):
Let's celebrate that today as the Dodgers beat the Diamonbacks
and they clinch the NL West. Eight sixty six nine
eighty seven two five seventy we'll get to your phone calls.
You're gonna hear the toast from the manager Dave Roberts
to his team just a little while ago in the
clubhouse in Arizona. But let's go out to Chase field Row.
Speaker 6 (12:30):
Jose Mona, it's time to go around the horn with
Hose Mota.
Speaker 7 (12:35):
All right, Hose, you've been around the game of baseball
your entire life, and I just want to celebrate this
Dodgers team right now. We can whine and cry about
the bullpen not getting it done, players underachieving whatever that.
You can worry about that later Dodger fans, But Jose,
I want to celebrate this team for persevering through this season.
Speaker 5 (12:53):
And here we are. They're celebrating again.
Speaker 2 (12:57):
You know what they're They're persevered and they have celebrating
each other because you know, there's been so many challenges
and teams aiming for you. And as book said, however,
you guys have said also throughout the whole season, teams
are aiming for the team. I mean, this is a standard.
This is who teams want to be, truly, and once
they get the Dodgers through by Plaintwood, class play with effort, guys,
(13:17):
being prepared a great chemistry and culture that you can
get the job done no matter who's on it who's not.
Because if you go back and think about how things
started with a whole fen, I mean between late March
April May is like who's going to be left and
right now? Obviously you know that you didn't have pieces
to begin with in the rotation that we knew at
some point were to be valuable. And there's no doubt
(13:38):
the rotation is the one thing that really got the
Dodgers at this point.
Speaker 7 (13:41):
Yamamoto today, thirty starts on this season, he has been
the horse that Dave Roberts could look to at times.
Him and Clayton Kershaw were the two mainstays in this
rotation for a lot of this season. They both became,
you know, those stoppers when the Dodgers needed to stop
a skin or avoid getting swept in a three game
series on a Sunday. Yamamoto was huge for this team. Yamamoto,
(14:05):
I cannot wait to see what he does in October.
Speaker 5 (14:07):
And Jose.
Speaker 7 (14:08):
I go back to last year in the postseason in
the San Diego series going out there. I think it
was Game five where he really I think elevated himself
to the next level and said, all right, I can
pitch here.
Speaker 5 (14:18):
I belong here.
Speaker 7 (14:19):
Ever since then, he has been so confident, and he's
been a completely different pitcher.
Speaker 2 (14:24):
Hey, you got to get credit with the Dodgers slapt
because remember going out against San Diego. How does that
bump bar to him all the way back from Korea?
Speaker 3 (14:31):
Right?
Speaker 2 (14:32):
And then game one that the first Tvy pitched, he
got hit quite hard, and it came down to game
five and Dodger said, listen, this is what we got
you for.
Speaker 6 (14:43):
We believe in you.
Speaker 2 (14:43):
And he has been a different monster ever since. So
you think about the confidence that he's built, how hard
he works, how he understands the game, how responsible he is,
and how cute he takes on I'm not suppressed. Remember
this guy had never made able to twenty six starts
in any season in Japan. Yeah, he's made starts. Look
at you, all right, look at the oppointments betting average,
Look at how many times the bullpen actually did not
(15:04):
allow him to win games. But nonetheless he went out
there like a warrior God the job done, and my boys,
some man, he had everything going for him again to
get the job done. And get the support that he needed,
because today was one of those very rare games for
him where he actually got the support to work with
and he got the job done. But certainly this goes
back to all the people responsible for signing him and
(15:25):
then for himself to say, if they believe in me
so much in a game which we almost got eliminated,
I'm gonna go out intil the next step. And he's
got it done once again.
Speaker 7 (15:34):
As a guy who's around this team, traveling with this team,
Jose like you are, I'm curious. I heard multiple players
say Freddie Freeman. Clayton Kershaw's repeated it ever since his
announcement is a retirement. We heard Max Monthy with David
Veasse mentioned this as well, Alex Vessi, Miguel Rojas, all
these guys said it just in the postgame show in
the clubhouse. This is a great group of guys. Clayton
(15:55):
Kershaw talks about this group in particular, He's been around
for eighteen years. He's been along a lot, a lot
of teams and a lot of teammates he's had over
the years, and he keeps talking about this group.
Speaker 5 (16:05):
Why do you think that is? What is it?
Speaker 2 (16:06):
About this group understanding each other from leadership, never panicking
and understanding who they are to just by not paying
attention to the outside world of the narratives and just
believe it in them and by the way, the same
way as challenging themselves to become better. Mookie back to
those cirggles, you know, the pensive lead to begin with,
has become a guy that probably didn't win a gold
globally in the way things are measures to day, and
(16:28):
mookis turning it on to the second half. All he
needed was Dodger fans have really applauded him and decided,
what do you to go out and aplaud this guy,
and then you've got Rojas, you got cursed. You got
so many guys in the contributed Bax Bossy a big
part of this whole thing. Uh So, I have thought
them Dowder fans and everybody else that got involved. Because
also the farm system with the US towns giving young
(16:49):
players a chance without dryer, without conspiracy, I mean replets.
You guys like that. You go somehow of Dodgers against
generation after generation find a way.
Speaker 4 (16:58):
To get it done. They do it again today.
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Sami's remarkable one step which is one thing too with
a it was a little stoic today, like it's like
the first step, worry about the rest when it comes.
But surnadly celebrate this because this was talked against too,
my friend. You know what, I gotta get on the bus.
It's a fun bust right now. And I and all
the loves of your fans, and I continue to really uh,
you know, thort my spot here with you guys. But
(17:21):
I also continue to look forward to a longer o
toward and on the air with you guys.
Speaker 5 (17:25):
Much longer, no doubt about it.
Speaker 7 (17:26):
All right, Jose, safe travels. We'll talk to you in
a couple of days. There he goes Jose motives. The
Dodgers are packing up and getting ready to head to
the airport and then have that happy flight to Seattle
after clenching the NL West Divisional championship today at eight
nothing victory over the Arizona Diamondbacks eight sixty six nine
eight seven five seventy, Daniel and Ventura start things off
from the eight to oh five on this postgame Dodger talk.
Speaker 5 (17:48):
How are you doing, Daniel?
Speaker 2 (17:50):
Awesome man? What a great failing NL West champs.
Speaker 9 (17:53):
Once again, let's Let's finish.
Speaker 2 (17:56):
Strong, one game at a time, one series at a time.
Speaker 4 (18:00):
Let's go.
Speaker 2 (18:01):
Let's finish strong this weekend in Seattle and be prepared
for Tuesday, no doubt about it.
Speaker 5 (18:05):
It's gonna be a fun weekend. I think a time
to exhale.
Speaker 7 (18:08):
If you're a Dodger fan, and certainly if you're a
Dodger player, you don't want to take your foot off
the gas for these next three games. You gotta go
out and compete. It's not a time to just, you know,
think about, oh the off seasons here. Now you're got
October to worry about. You're not one of these teams
playing out the season, thinking about vacation, thinking about Halloween
costumes with the kids. No, they got October baseball to
(18:28):
think about. Stephanie and Riverside, thanks for being patient. Welcome
to Dodger Talk. As the Dodgers are your divisional champions
yet again.
Speaker 5 (18:35):
Stephanie, Yes they are.
Speaker 3 (18:38):
Congratulations Los Angeles Dodgers. After last night's game, I was so,
of course, like all the other fans, nail biting, you know.
Once I seen Sasaki and Kershaw, they did awesome. I
was so proud of them. And then I'm at work today,
so I couldn't see the game, but I was carrying
(18:59):
on the eye Heart radio was.
Speaker 8 (19:01):
How it was going.
Speaker 3 (19:02):
I'm I was so proud of them. They were hitting,
they hit good. Freeman hit two home runs. I'm like, oh, yeah,
we got this, we got this. But yeah, I'm so
excited for them. They need to take it one game
out of time, you know, keep focused. They can do it,
you know, and just keep battling and don't give up.
Speaker 9 (19:21):
I'm a fan that I believe.
Speaker 7 (19:23):
All right, Thank you, Stephanie. I appreciate thanks for checking in.
Eight sixty six, nine eighty seven, two, five seventy. Freddy
Freeman goes deep twice. Andy Poez goes deep. How about
show Hey, O Tani's to run home run number fifty
four on the season. We'll hear that coming up in
a couple of minutes. We didn't hear from show Hey
at all. Postgame Show Hey, a little quiet.
Speaker 5 (19:42):
There the Dodger clubs.
Speaker 3 (19:43):
I like that.
Speaker 5 (19:44):
I like that, A little silent, silent assassin there.
Speaker 7 (19:48):
If you're your show Hey, O Tani just kind of
sitting there thinking about, all right, hey, accomplish the goal.
Speaker 5 (19:53):
That we're getting ready for October.
Speaker 6 (19:54):
I like that.
Speaker 5 (19:55):
I like that approach, Vinnie and San Diego. Thanks for
being patient.
Speaker 7 (19:59):
Welcome to Dodger Talk on your home with the twenty
twenty five Nation League West Divisional champions I do have
any all good?
Speaker 6 (20:06):
Oh?
Speaker 1 (20:06):
Yes, another win and another Western Division championship with be
on here in San Diego. I had to listen to
these people all the time, and they're brown. Just let
you know, man, we're converting San Diego. It's La South.
But you know, I'm excited. I'm pumped. I can't wait
to be at the game Tuesday. I'll tell you what, though,
I am worried about Tanner Scott, what are your thoughts
on that?
Speaker 5 (20:25):
Well, I think I appreciate the phone call.
Speaker 7 (20:29):
I'm not worried necessarily because I'm assuming he'll be on
the postseason roster based on who he is and why
they signed him and how much they paid him and
all that. But we'll find out come Tuesday what the
roster looks like, what the bullpen situation is gonna look like,
(20:51):
because you've got some intriguing decisions to make if you're
Dave Roberts Mark Pryor in this front office, as to
which starters in a three game series. Okay, not only
don't even think about the NLDS or the NLCS five
game series, seven game series.
Speaker 5 (21:04):
Think about a three game series.
Speaker 7 (21:06):
Okay, you don't need all these starters, but you want
these guys available right in case you need them. They're
the best, right, What do you do with the Tyler Glass?
Speaker 5 (21:14):
Now?
Speaker 7 (21:14):
In a three game series? He's probably not one of
your starting pitchers, but you still want him on the roster.
Speaker 6 (21:18):
Right.
Speaker 7 (21:18):
Is he a guy who can come out of the
bullpen for you? Probably, So you have to strategize a
little different in a three game series. We'll have plenty
of time to talk about that. We'll take a break,
we'll come back, we'll get to more of your phone calls,
and then we'll get ready to turn it.
Speaker 5 (21:31):
Over to Thursday Night Football from Arizona.
Speaker 7 (21:34):
Yes, Dodgers beat the Diamondbacks in Arizona, and we'll go
back to Arizona for Thursday Night football. Is the Arizona
Cardinals take on the Seattle Seahawks. That's coming up. We'll
hear from Dave Roberts and his post game speech to
his team in the Dodger Clubhouse. Dodgers, you're National League

Speaker 6 (22:27):
Home run number.
Speaker 8 (22:28):
Fifty four, he ties his own home run record. He
ties the Dodgers single season home run record. It's a
two run shot and the Dodgers lead at six nothing.
Speaker 7 (22:42):
Show hey Otani, home run number fifty four, a two
run home run?
Speaker 5 (22:46):
How about that?
Speaker 7 (22:47):
Into the pool there in Chase Field in Arizona. He

I had a Bibleist champaign at Pop But I have
to stick with Jack Daniels. But man, what a ride.
It's unbelievable. And we made it with the Cardiac kids.
That's the only thing that's been keeping me going. Whenever
I felt like going out the window team might sell myself.
There's the cardiac kids. They'll find a way to get
(23:56):
it done. Don't worry. And my gosh, they did it. Hey, Diamondbacks.
We don't need your sinking swimming pool. We got our
own pool. Bye bye, looking at you in the rear
view mirror. Oh, man, isn't it sweet? Isn't it sweet?
Speaker 5 (24:10):
It is great? Don, I appreciate the phone call. How
about that? He just reminded me real quick.
Speaker 7 (24:14):
The Dodgers were doing a slipping slide inside the Dodgers'
clubhouse today there in Arizona. They tarped off the clubhouse
on the floor as well to get the carpet not
soaking wet, and instead of celebrating in the pool and
right center field. This is the third time the Dodgers,
by the way, have won in Arizona, and the last
time they were there there was you know, mounted police,
and there was a whole protection of the pool, so
the Dodgers wouldn't go back in there like they did
(24:36):
in twenty thirteen.
Speaker 5 (24:37):
Well, they didn't need to go out of the pool.
Don just reminded me.
Speaker 7 (24:41):
They had a slipping slide going with the tarp on
the ground, the plastic inside the clubhouse, and it was
so wet with all the champagne and beer that was
spilled and flowing. Will Ireton, Dodger translator, Dodger official was
doing the slipping slide, and you saw a couple of
other Dodger officials out there doing the slipping slide. In fact,
then you hear Tommy Tanks, Tommy Edman telling David A
(25:02):
it'd be nice for him to be the slipping slide. Thankfully,
David did chose not to do it, and uh, he's
safe and sound from what we understand, getting ready to
head out of that team playing in head to Seattle.
Speaker 5 (25:12):
Blake, my guy, Blake in Colorado. What's shaking, Blake? How
you doing.
Speaker 10 (25:18):
Really really good? And I'm glad to Dodgs NLS champions.
Buddy Freeman had a good night everybody at the every
Dodger in the starting line. I've had a good night,
good day today. And I'm really sad Crazing Conca is
retiring this year.
Speaker 7 (25:38):
Yeah, it's sad, but you know what, Blake, we get
to celebrate him in his final start on Sunday in Seattle,
and then he's gonna be a big part of this
postseason run.
Speaker 1 (25:46):
Right.
Speaker 7 (25:46):
You got to believe that we'll see him coming out
of that bullpen quite often and helping out this Dodgers team.
Speaker 5 (25:51):
Don't you think yes, and I.
Speaker 10 (25:54):
Hope we're gonna win another woe Sealy.
Speaker 7 (25:57):
Yeah, me too, me too, Blake. Great to hear your voice.
Don't be a stranger. I'll be back on Sunday.
Speaker 10 (26:02):
Okay, okay, talk to Sunday.
Speaker 5 (26:05):
All right?
Speaker 7 (26:05):
There he goes by Guy Blake in Colorado? Is he
wrapped things up here before? We had the Thursday night
football and the Cardinals and the Seahawks. Hi, is he?
Speaker 2 (26:15):
Hey?
Speaker 9 (26:15):
I'm happy, be guy. They got to win and I'm
just still and I'm too oldest daddy, Puddy, my kidd.
Now right now, I'm we didn't take to Minty, show
me Manny, but hey, with the Dodgers the best team
in the wicked it was just so. Bas see, the
(26:37):
Dodgers win today. Still basing the fiveway calling upon anyway.
So anyway, have a give, have a game. We will
tell comes bays all right?
Speaker 7 (26:46):
Is he great to hear your voice. I know you're
excited with your cousin there, who is a Padres fan.
You're a longtime Dodgers fan and certainly excited that the
Dodgers have clinched their twelfth inn L West Divisional title
in the last thirteen years. How about Dave Roberts. Every
year people want to blame Dave Roberts. Every year Dodger
fans get after Dave Roberts. He's been there a decade.
(27:07):
Nine of the ten years Dave Roberts has been the
manager of the Dodgers. They have won the NL West. Now,
They've coming up short a couple of times in the postseason,
some early exits, certainly losing the World Series stings, but
they are now two time World Series champs under Dave
Roberts in twenty twenty and twenty twenty four. All Right,
that's gonna do it for Dodger Talk. I want to
(27:28):

we are enjoying the Dodger victory. Thanks saw you for
being a part of the show. Sorry, Brad Paisley didn't
have time for you today. Maybe next time here on
Dodger Talk. Coming up next It's Thursday Night Football We

Speaker 5 (27:58):
