Speaker 1 (00:01):
One thing about this gene is the invisible and tangibles
that they have.

Speaker 2 (00:07):
This team is really becoming a family. Let's not play
one on two.

Speaker 3 (00:10):
Let's I love writing these guys after the show and
just thank you, give me are.

Speaker 4 (00:15):
Your attention, your fire, a pisson. This is world champion, Dodger,
world champion.

Speaker 5 (00:21):
Put a small soft time to get a people what
they want to die too?

Speaker 4 (00:24):
In a row two is special. I'm like, yeah, it's
not a headache.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
One of a con.

Speaker 4 (00:30):
This ball's gone. You ready to show? Hell time go
to the grab.

Speaker 5 (00:35):
Your phone to get in on the show called eight
six six nine eighty seven two five seven.

Speaker 4 (00:40):
I'll go to the show.

Speaker 5 (00:41):
And now your host of Dodger Talk, David bas saying.

Speaker 6 (00:47):
We are live at Dodger Stadium after the Dodgers return.

Speaker 4 (00:51):
Home with a win three to one over the Rockies.

Speaker 6 (00:54):
David Vas say, with you until eleven o'clock tonight here
on a five to seventy LA Sports. We have phone
lines open at eight six six nine, eight seven two
five seventy. An interesting game tonight in more ways than one.
The Dodgers were down one to nothing, with Tyler Glass
now pitching a no hitter. Yeah, the Dodgers did not

(01:17):
have a run until after Chase Dolelander came out of
the game with what appeared to be some sort of
cramp in the sixth inning, and that's when the Dodgers
were able to score their three runs. After Dolander shut
them out for five innings. He went five plus innings tonight,
allowed just one hit himself, had five strikeouts and two walks.

(01:41):
So a really well pitched game by the two starters tonight.
And the way the Rockies were able to score their
run was manufacturing it with the Ladolph walk of stolen base,
getting the ball to the right side to move the
runner over, and a sacrifice fly.

Speaker 4 (01:58):
So it was somewhat weird.

Speaker 6 (02:00):
That glass Now had a no hitter even though the
Rockies were beating him one to nothing. And once you
got to the sixth or seventh inning and Dolander was
out of this game, Freddie Freeman tied the game in
the sixth inning, you kind of felt like, Okay, the
Dodgers are going to come back here.

Speaker 4 (02:19):
And score at least one run.

Speaker 6 (02:21):
I would have loved to have seen Tyler glass Now
go back out there for the eighth inning, because one
hundred and five pitches. I understand what's the limits. Is
it going to be one twenty? Is it going to
be one thirty. The only way I could rationalize this,
and the reason why I want to rationalize it, is

(02:43):
because baseball is missing these moments, especially now at the
NFL starting the Dodgers. The Major League Baseball needs these
types of moments to grab the attention of the sports world,
and they're not getting those type of opportunities anymore because
of pitch counts, because of whatever the iPad metrics are

(03:08):
showing about the pitcher's performance. This is sports theater, this
is sports entertainment. And another reason that I could rationalize
sending Glasnow back out there is because the Dodgers have
treated this guy with kid gloves, because rightfully so. He

(03:28):
has a long, storied injury history. I understand that. But
the Dodgers holding him to ninety pitches in the past
or giving him extra days off have not resulted in
him staying healthy for thirty starts, So why not just
send him back out there. You could have limited him
tonight to eighty pitches and there's nothing to say that

(03:51):
he would not be able to make his next start
in six seven days, So just send him back out there,
see if he can get an efficient eighth inning.

Speaker 4 (04:01):
See where it goes.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
Give the fans here, give the sports world that opportunity
to have that type of sports theater.

Speaker 4 (04:09):
Isn't that why we're all here?

Speaker 6 (04:12):
Obviously, winning allows that to happen, and the Dodgers have
won more than any other team in baseball since Guggenheim
took over in twenty thirteen, but in twenty twelve, but
first full season in twenty thirteen. Isn't that why we're
all here? A pitcher has a chance to throw a

(04:32):
no hitter. We don't want to see combined no hitters.
That's so watered down. The last Dodger no hitter was
a combined no hitter in Monterey, Mexico in twenty eighteen.
Nobody wants to see that. Yamamoto being allowed to go
back out there in the ninth inning in Baltimore is

(04:52):
exactly what baseball needed. Now, it didn't work out, and
I understand why Dave Roberts took him out after that,
and obviously it was an ugly finish, but just allowing
him to go back out there in the ninth inning
was was special.

Speaker 4 (05:07):
And you don't see it.

Speaker 6 (05:10):
And I'm not gonna say Dave Roberts takes guys out
of no hitters all the time, because that's not true.
He just allowed a guy two games ago to go
back out there for the ninth inning.

Speaker 4 (05:21):
So I'm just making the.

Speaker 6 (05:23):
Case that I could rationalize sending Glass now back out
there because treating him carefully has not resulted in him
staying healthy. Eight six, six, nine, eight seven, two five
seventy is the phone number. Let's head downstairs right now
to hear from manager Dave Roberts.

Speaker 7 (05:40):
He was fantastic. I thought he did get into a rhythm.
He was, he was, you know, I thought early he
was trying to find his way, wasn't in that rhythm,
And then you know, innings four, five, six seven, I
thought he was.

Speaker 4 (05:56):
He was great.

Speaker 7 (05:57):
The curveball was really good, the fastball good, and you know,
throwing to a guy that he's never thrown thrown to.
I thought, you did a really nice job kind of
those two guys navigating, and yeah, the pitch count got up.
He's a guy that came off, you know, a back situation,
you know, one hundred and seven pitches. So for me,

(06:17):
that was an easy one to take him out of
the game at that point in time. But he was
fantastic all night. It was good to see. I encouraging also.

Speaker 5 (06:25):
Just to see how like China as well as Tinash
you got away just to bounce back from there.

Speaker 4 (06:30):
Touch again, Yeah, yeah, it was. It was.

Speaker 7 (06:33):
I thought Blake was Blake did a nice job. And
then even Tanner the the the double he gave up
that was a ball slider down below. The kid did
a good job riding it out, but getting a couple
of soft contact outs. So good to get those guys,
you know, throwing up two zero's tonight and so but

(06:53):
most importantly, you know, getting a team win was great.

Speaker 8 (06:57):
Give him what you just said about Tanner when you
saw that, don't be for a second did you think
of Ayo yet.

Speaker 4 (07:04):
I try to not think like that.

Speaker 7 (07:08):
You know, I've got to show belief in my players,
I really do, and I yeah, I believe in them,
and I've got to continue to show. But they've got
to do their jobs too. It was a good night.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
You talked about maybe having it lean on your start
is a little bit more. Getting seven out of last.

Speaker 4 (07:27):
That I'm very pleased.

Speaker 7 (07:31):
Yeah, I will say that you know, you know where
he's at. You know, in other circumstances, I might have
thought to, you know, eject after six and ninety right there.
I did feel that with the extra rest for Tanner
or for Tyler, I thought the stuff was still good

(07:53):
to shorten the game with him. I thought it made sense.
And so yeah, I do think that, you know, there's
certain times, if it's allowed, if they give me the
opportunity as far as efficiency and how their stuff is
still playing, to push them a little bit more.

Speaker 6 (08:10):
There was a lot to unpack in that last Q
and A with the reporter and Dave Roberts number one.
I wish Dave Roberts would just respond with a question
like that, how pleased were you that your starting pitcher
gave you seven innings? I would love for Dave to say,
I'm so upset with that. That really upsets me. Seven innings.

(08:30):
I'm pissed. Of course he's pleased with it. That's exactly
the formula the Dodgers have said they needed because their
starting rotation is their strength. And by the way, thanks
to our guy Rick Krajuski, he put up.

Speaker 4 (08:46):
This note glass.

Speaker 6 (08:47):
Now tonight was the sixth starting pitcher for the Dodgers
to go seven plus innings at least seven or more
innings with ten strikeouts, and five of those six type
games have happened since the All Star break. So a
good night for the Dodgers, a good night for Tyler
Glass now who also wins his first game since the

(09:08):
end of March. Go figure that eight six, six, seven,
two five seventy is the phone number. Dodgers beat the
Rockies three to one, and Dave Roberts actually pointed out
the guy that we talked to after the game, catcher
Ben Rohortfitt, who was in there again for Will Smith.
I mean, think about what this guy has done in

(09:29):
his last three games, filling in for Will Smith and
Dalton Rushing. He was acquired at the trade deadline. None
of us even thought about Ben Rhortviitt until this past
road trip where both catchers got injured.

Speaker 4 (09:45):
Ben Rhortviitt in the.

Speaker 6 (09:46):
Last three games has caught Yamamotos no hitter into the
ninth inning. He caught a future Hall of Famer yesterday
in Clayton Kershaw, and then again tonight had a no
hitter going into the night. I ain't thinning how many
catchers can say that in their entire careers, let alone
a guy that just got called up in the last week.

Speaker 4 (10:08):
Ben rortfit pretty good.

Speaker 6 (10:11):
Eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is
the phone number. Let's go out to Jeff who was
at Dodger Stadium tonight. Jeff, did you want to see
glass now go back out there for the eighth?

Speaker 3 (10:25):
Did I want to see him go back out in
the eighth? I mean, I would have been nice. But
I think I think I understood why that didn't happen
because he definitely felt gassed. I think you were right
when you said that there was a lot of uh
injury history with them, so they it wasn't necessarily a
good idea. He was well over one hundred pitches. He
was like, at what won one of one o seven

(10:46):
or something like that. Yeah, see, so it wasn't I
don't think it was a good I was happy with it.
I wanted, I mean to be honest with you, I
really wanted to see a no hitter. I've never seen
a no hitter live, and I was excited, and I thought,
but well, you know what, I'll still get a no
hitter even with the other two coming in, and so
I was okay with it.

Speaker 4 (11:02):
I think that was but it's not the same combine.
It doesn't have the juice exactly.

Speaker 3 (11:09):
And so the thing that I wanted to talk about
was how Cheoscar came up with when he when they
actually walked monthy to get to him, intentional walk is loaded,
and it was. It was a bad at that and
I that I was so disappointed in the fans, David
I was, I was, I was there. I was yelling
at the top of my lungs, like, this is a

(11:30):
huge spot for him and we need him down the
stretch badly. And this was something where if the fans
just would have got up and been behind it, I
really think at least if he would have sunk in
a bit, because man, you're right, it was three pitches
an owl. It was not a good, not a good,
a bad at all.

Speaker 6 (11:46):
That was one of the worst at bats I've seen
ta Oscar take this year. I was disappointed. And nobody's
a bigger ta Oscar Hernandez fan than I am. If
you listen to this show. I was a huge advocate
for the Dodgers to re sign him. But I'm still
waiting for the twenty twenty four ti Oscar Hernandez and
I hope it comes at the right time, but they
need him.

Speaker 3 (12:07):
Yeah, I agree. Hey, thanks David, big fan.

Speaker 6 (12:09):
Budd, Thanks Jeff, appreciate that. Let's go out to Robert
and Claremont. You're on Dodger Talk. How you doing, Robert?

Speaker 8 (12:17):
Hey, how you doing tonight?

Speaker 6 (12:20):
I'm doing great, beautiful man at Dodger Stadium. Perfect conditions
to pitch it.

Speaker 8 (12:26):
Well, glad we got to win first of all, but
four hits.

Speaker 2 (12:30):
Come on?

Speaker 8 (12:32):
And who I agree with?

Speaker 3 (12:34):
You should let him go?

Speaker 2 (12:35):
Come on?

Speaker 8 (12:36):
What is this sissy stuff? I mean, one hundred pitches,
big deal?

Speaker 6 (12:42):
Yeah, I would use a better choice of words. But
I know what you're saying, like, there's just too much
of looking at the pitch count. And still nobody has
proven to me that one hundred pitches is the breaking
point for any starting pitcher. I'm not saying let him
go to the Johann Santana Mark where it was like
one hundred and fifty one and sixty pitches.

Speaker 4 (13:02):
That's just reckless.

Speaker 6 (13:03):
But send him back out there see if he can
get an efficient inning. You know, we want to see
that when you have a no hitter into the seventh inning.
I mean, I feel like baseball and the powers that
be that run these teams now want to just condition
us to accept that it's okay to take a picture
out after seven or eight no hit innings. I mean,

(13:26):
I can remember Clayton Kershaw being taken out of seven
perfect innings in Minnesota.

Speaker 4 (13:32):
I was, I was livid. I mean, I'm not accepting that.

Speaker 2 (13:37):
No.

Speaker 8 (13:37):
I mean the Goos conference switch a guy that you
gotta go deep in the games to win the guys,
will win you guys records.

Speaker 6 (13:46):
But at least Dave Roberts, Dave Roberts did let Yamamoto
go back out there to complete his no hitter. So
I mean, we can't we can't say Dave doesn't do that.
But there's a collective you know, THI process when it
comes to individual pitchers. But my point is, you know,
the Dodgers have done everything in their powers to treat

(14:07):
Glass now with kid gloves, and he still gets hurt,
So why not just send him back out there.

Speaker 8 (14:14):
Exactly exactly? And the team is not go making. They
don't get the mold Joe they had before. They're a
good team, don't get me wrong, but they don't got
the magic they had last year.

Speaker 6 (14:26):
Yeah, it's oh, stop, you don't know that, Robert. Here's
something for you, Robert. The last team to win back
to back World Series championships was the Yankees in two thousand.
In the month of September in two thousand, on their
way to their repeat championship, they lost fifteen of their
last eighteen regular season games. You're telling me people thought

(14:49):
they were a shoe in to win again. Come on,
you don't know what's gonna happen in October. And I
still believe in these guys.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Here's the players we have.

Speaker 8 (14:58):
We got guys that we're missing.

Speaker 6 (15:00):
He's coming back Wednesday, Keyk's back. You don't even know
who's on the team. You can't say that. News obviously
doesn't travel that fast to Claremont. One day, you'll hear
the news that Monsie was back tonight, Edmunds back Wednesday,
and Keyky Hernandez has been back for two weeks. I

(15:21):
think news gets stopped in Laverne and you don't get
to hear it in Claremont. Thanks for the phone call,
We're gonna take a yeah bye, Thanks a lot for
the phone call. I mean, you can't say those type
of things if you don't know who's on the team.
Eight six six nine eight seven two five seventy is
the phone number. Sorry, you know, I want to have
a real discussion, but you lose credibility when you say

(15:44):
something that that is untrue and number two something you
have no idea about. And I am still a believer
in this team until they prove me wrong. Eight sixty
six nine eight seven two five seventy is the phone number.

Speaker 4 (16:02):
We're gonna take a time out here on Dodger Talk.

Speaker 6 (16:04):
When we continue, we'll check in with Jose Mota get
his thoughts on what he saw from Glass now tonight
and the Dodgers coming up big in the sixth and
seventh innings with their chemistry of great players Mookie Betts,
Freddie Freeman, sho he Otani lead the way to the
Dodgers and a three to one win over the Rockies

(16:24):
on a five to seventy LA Sports.

Speaker 6 (16:44):
CHAVIEZ one two pitch de Bets, Ukie Swings he drives
at the center field of pace.

Speaker 4 (16:50):
Here has comes underscore, round ing thurnis Otani.

Speaker 2 (16:54):
He will score and Bets with a two out, two
run basehead gives the Cheers a three to one lead.

Speaker 6 (17:03):
Mookie Betts coming up clutch in the bottom of the
seventh inning with a two out, two run single to
give the Dodgers the lead, as they would go on
to beat the Rockies tonight three to one, and Mooki Betts,
all of a sudden, is a factor for the Dodgers again.
In his last thirty games, He's hitting three twenty eight
with an eight ninety five OPS. During that period of time,

Mooki has five home runs and nineteen RBIs. Daniel Stewlers

Speaker 5 (17:48):
It's time to go around the horn with Jose Mota.

Speaker 6 (17:53):
All right, Jose Mota another no hitter for the Dodgers
going into the ninth inning tonight, different un circumstances, obviously,
but how impressed were you by what glass Now was
doing tonight?

Speaker 2 (18:06):
I was impressed because at first he just had a
little bit of trouble commanding fastballs and the Rockies, as
we found out in Colorado, going to show hey, they're
not afraid of fastballs. I mean, ninety seven idea doesn't
scare them. There's a couple of calls that could have
gone his way in terms of he continued to battle.
I'm glad to hear him talk about just a simple
mechanical mechanical adjustment day because things like that for a

(18:29):
guy the six', eight there's so many moving, parts so
many things are will be aligned and aligned that something
simple from caredor margin has got it. Figured but it's curveball.
Outstanding and once Again i'm going to give a lot
of credit to the guy behind the play because if
he go back To yamamoto and how he was able
to mix and allow them to in TheCall a, Game

(18:51):
i'm going to go back To robert again tonight to
force him to throw that bricking ball when he couldn't
find anything else to get, ahead finish up some guys
and get more confidences rode.

Speaker 6 (19:00):
Along, yeah and Uh ben Rhurtvid, wow what a ride for.
Him But glass that was shaking him off a few
different times to get to.

Speaker 4 (19:09):
That curveball early in the.

Speaker 6 (19:10):
EVENING i mean that should be, expected, RIGHT i mean
they haven't worked, together so being shaken off by your
picture in that, situation at least he got to the
pitch that he wanted to and got the strikeouts when
he wanted.

Speaker 2 (19:23):
Them, yeah and let me tell you something. Else don't
always believe in. Shakeoffs they don't mean anything. Sometimes, okay
what you're trying to do is with all the information
now that's out about signs and location and things like,
that you're making it a little bit more confusing to
the guys hitting and the guys on the bench and
the coaches to, say what is he shaking so much? For,

(19:46):
actually sometimes we hear the first sign and as a
curveble you want to throw, it you can say. No
and that's combined with your casual was, saying, hey let's
just go out there and make him think that you
always want to come with a fastball And i'm just
gonna shake you off and you're gonna call a. Slider
i'm going to say, no BUT i don't want to throw,
that so They i've always paid attention to a lot
of that because the best pictures in baseball through the
years have done the same, thing and it's a good
thing for the, hit especially now this time of the.

(20:08):
Year we have a pattern set up and everything's based
on probabilities.

Speaker 1 (20:12):
And what does he?

Speaker 2 (20:12):
Throw shakeoffs was a good. Thing even though you knew
you want to throw that, pitch you just say, no
get it, Done.

Speaker 6 (20:19):
Hose it sounded Like Tyler glass now was very in
tune with his body and in tune with the number
of pitches that he was. Throwing are you surprised to
hear him basically kind of stand down on not going
back out there for the eighth.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
Inning i'm not surprised at. All, NO i, mean we
know he has a. History cantder send that because he's
coming off and well almost an outing where he the
back was barking at. Him he was pushed. Back and you,
know as much AS i wanted to do this these
episodes and all these great dramatic ser on, baseball Those

(20:54):
dodgors cannot afford to be losing anybody based on somebody's individual.
Concert right, now he had not pitched for one hundred
and sixt is this. Season we know what he is all,
about you, know and we know too that you're so
close to the finish night right now that you don't
want to risk. Anything you're losing anybody and get to
a position where you don't know how many games you're

(21:14):
gonna have to play right after the season starts as,
Either so better just get him out. There nobody, did
got in some, runs got to w But. DAVE i
was not surprised to hear, him you know the fact
that he was. Done he was. Done everybody knew he
was going to be. Done the moment will come at some,
point but out of think it's too risky right now to,
go you, know do him out.

Speaker 6 (21:35):
There, OKAY i, disagree, respectfully because The dodgers have been
very careful with him and he still had.

Speaker 4 (21:42):
Injuries we can.

Speaker 2 (21:43):
Disagree that's. Fine that's just my point saying THAT i
just got, to you, know. PLAYOFFS i see what two
and a half starters and all sounds like you think
you have six and before you know something happened to
somebody gets sleeping and it's, like, okay here we go.
Again so day, RESPECTFULLY i, say now.

Speaker 6 (22:00):
Is one of The dodgers first three starters in a wildcard.

Speaker 4 (22:03):
Series we don't know.

Speaker 2 (22:04):
That because we don't know how the season's gonna.

Speaker 6 (22:06):
End, yeah, SO i, mean, well right now they'd be
playing a wild card series and there are four games
back of The phillies for the number two. Seed but right,
now if the postseason, started they'd be playing a best
of three series At Dodgers. Stadium do you believe The
dodgers would Have glass now be one of their three
starters if that were the, Case if.

Speaker 2 (22:25):
That was a kid and he falls in, line, yes
he's gonna have to be one of the first three.
Starters because, okay so what if you have to fight
to get to in fighting for first place towards the
end over In, seattle and what if it can readjust
your you, know your rotation in the next ten. Days
we don't know where guys are going to be lining,
up and it could be that he ends up in
the top. Three so it's, like you, know to get

(22:46):
to that, point let's get through this line first and
then worry about the other. One but if it happens
to be, that you, know many people didn't want to
have a motor pitch game five last, Year agans Of popps, like,
yes was that's what we got him. For that's what we.
Heard oh we got him for, that and he was
out there was. Outstanding so let's hope and pray that
everything stays a lot of the way it is and
that any one of these guys can go up and step.

Speaker 6 (23:07):
Up and speaking Of, Yamamoto Los dodgers has An instagram
account and you've revitalized it, Right jose did a little
video With yamamoto about his pitch.

Speaker 2 (23:18):
Grips, well you, know back to days with The. ANGELS
i like to bring the players who tell the stories
and talk, about you, know learning the game and teaching the,
game who they learned from and things like. That so
we start off with At Lost dodgers In espanol The
instagram and also on mine account at At Jose moto
zero five With yamamoto on teaching the, grips and you'll

(23:40):
see a connection with and he And Randy. Johnson i'm
going to tell you what it, is but go check it.
Out it's pretty. Interesting And moto does not have the
largest hands for gouty to throw a great, splitter and
we talked about that, too and we started up With
Dino evil a couple of weeks, ago talking about payees
and all the work he's. Done so interesting things THAT
i learned from them THAT i want to pass along
to the fans along with you, two to all that

(24:01):
there's way more to these. Cousines they're not machines or human,
beings and there's many stories out there coming TO i
got a few lined. Up they're gonna be quite. Fun
But yama wants to be a very interesting because it
is in three, Languages so go check it, out all.

Speaker 6 (24:14):
Right, jose thanks a lot of Those dodgers On. Instagram
you could see that. Video we'll talk to you.

Speaker 4 (24:19):
Tomorrow.

Speaker 2 (24:19):
JOSE a Logo salion not.

Speaker 6 (24:23):
There it Goes Jose, mota part of The Dodgers spanish
radio broadcast eight six six nine eighty seven two five
seventy is the phone. Number dodgers beat The rockies tonight
three to. One tomorrow The, dodgers who are expected to
Activate Alex vesia from THE. Il Will smith is expected
to be the starting catcher for The dodgers. TOMORROW i

(24:46):
Watched Will smith take batting practice, today so that was
a good. Sign And Tommy edmond is going to be
with The dodgers, tomorrow but is expected to be activated
On wednesday for the final game of this. Series and
we'll get to that tomorrow because that may prompt a
New dodger outfield alignment With Tommy edman playing primarily center.

(25:09):
Field Does paz go to left? Field Does paz go
to right? Field Is Taoscar hernandez going to lose at?
Bats because if you look at you, know just the,
performance Like Dave roberts has talked, about incredibly, Enough Michael
conforto has Outperformed Taoscar hernandez in the last month or.

(25:32):
So so it's gonna be interesting to see what decision
The dodgers make a little more Keyk hernandez maybe at second,
base maybe a little more Keyk hernandez in left field
or right.

Speaker 4 (25:42):
Field we'll have to wait and.

Speaker 6 (25:44):
See but it's starting to come into focus here as
The dodgers do not have anything.

Speaker 4 (25:51):
Guaranteed they still need.

Speaker 6 (25:53):
To secure their playoff, spot they still need to secure
winning THE Nl, west being only one game ahead of
The padres after The padres beat The reds, tonight so,
uh there's a lot of things still up in the,
air and Like Dave roberts talked, about it's going to
be performance based on who plays for The, dodgers and

(26:14):
it's going to be very telling the starting lineup On wednesday.
Night If Tom edmond's in center, field eight six six
seven two five seventy is the phone. Number let's go
out To sharon In. Riverside you're On Dodger. Talk, Hi, Sharon, Hi.

Speaker 9 (26:30):
HI a couple of. Things first of, ALL i disagree
With jose AND i agree totally with. You they should
have put him back out. There, absolutely. Absolutely this is,
baseball and, uh this is. Baseball AND i wanted to ask,
you have you ever thought of being a? Manager?

Speaker 4 (26:52):
Me no, CHANCE i played on the. Radio but but.

Speaker 9 (26:59):
If you, WERE i swear everything you, say any of
your comments or anything like, that are right on all the,
time all the. Time and if you In, monday if
you And monday had a team that you guys took care,
of you'd be in The World series every single. Year
you guys know what you're talking. About you too. WELL

(27:23):
i Love, monday but you too would be, great great
managers of a, team AND i wish you. WOULD i
know you're not going to do. That BUT i just
wanted to let you know you'll run that By.

Speaker 6 (27:36):

Do so thank you for.

Speaker 9 (27:49):
It's saying how it. Is AND i don't know if
you get enough, kudos but everything you, SAY i can't
handle them pulling a picture out because it's a certain
inning or it's a certain amount of. Pitches that, still, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (28:04):
There's a time and. PLACE i, Agree.

Speaker 6 (28:05):
Sharon thank you for the phone, call love the, passion
And i'm a baseball fan and there's there's no magic
number that says this pitch is going to redline this.
Pitcher there's just not it's not. Proven, uh pitchers have
been throwing ninety one hundred pitches and they still get.
Hurt so come, on we want to see. That we

(28:28):
want to see. That let's go out To. Hollywood. Ronnie
you're On Dodger. Talk how you, Doing? Ronnie And i'm
not just talking about The, dodgers, because LIKE i, Said
Dave roberts sent y'a'm a moto back out there at
one hundred and something pitches On saturday. Nights so this
is not pointing the finger at The dodgers Or Dave,
roberts just in. General this happens all over Major League.

(28:49):
Baseball ronnie In, hollywood walk us off. Tonight how you?

Speaker 1 (28:52):
Doing you should have Let yallamoto pitch the last batter,
anyway because, Look, david we're talking history here on. Now
do you Think Nolan ryan pitched five no hitters by
being taken out in the seventh? Innings? Ridiculous there's a
lot more to this in the degradation of where the
all this pitching has gone. To i'm sorry to, say

(29:14):
because those, games Did Nolan ryan pitched for complete? Games
we need to get back to.

Speaker 2 (29:20):
THAT i Think Nolan.

Speaker 6 (29:21):
Ryan was a, Freak let's be. HONEST i mean he.
Was you talk about, Unicorns Nolan ryan was a unicorn.

Speaker 4 (29:28):
To do what he. Did that's why he's A hall Of.

Speaker 6 (29:29):
FAMER i feel like that'll be the first and only
Time Tyler glass now And Nolan ryan will be put
in the same.

Speaker 4 (29:36):
Sentence but what else you, Got, Ronnie.

Speaker 2 (29:39):
Well he's in the, Zone.

Speaker 6 (29:41):
David but, Also, ronnie did you hear him after the.
Game it didn't sound like he was pushing all that,
much if at, all to go back out there for
the eighth. Inning so you, Know Dave roberts knows his
pitchers pretty, well So i'll give him. That honey gotta.
Run thank you so much for calling. In we'll do
