Freddie talks to DV after hitting a massive 3-run HR in the 1st inning to help the Dodgers beat the Padres, 5-4. Freddie talks about the huge sweep against the Padres and Mookie's clutch go-ahead HR.

A big three run home run against you Darvish in
the first inning, Freddy, How big does this feel to
get the sweep with still a lot of season to go?

Speaker 5 (00:22):
Yeah, obviously, coming off of the Angel series, going to
play better, and we obviously did that. Starts just starting pitching.
Our starting pitching. This whole series was great, and we
didn't score many runs after the first, but Mooki got.

Speaker 4 (00:34):
The one we needed.

Speaker 3 (00:34):
How important is it against Darbish though, to get him
early as he figures out what's working.

Speaker 5 (00:40):
Yeah, I mean you want to jump on ind you start,
especially after we knocked TOAs out early yesterday. We got
into their bullpen the last couple of days, so getting
him out early we made him have to work their
bullpen again. So you're going, as an offense, we're trying
to get him out before the fifth, sixth inning, So
I think we did a great dog getting him out.

How big is this for Mookie's confidence to come through
like that?

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah?

Speaker 5 (00:59):
I mean Moki's been doing really well in the last
couple of weeks, so I think I've been saying it
all season. Mookie Bets is Mookie Bets and he's.

And he showed it right there.
