And now an exclusive interview with David Bassey for Dodger Talker.
We're like, we've at Dodgers Stadium after the Dodgers beat
the Rockies seven to two, and it's always a good
thing at Dodger Stadium when Taoscar Hernandez and Mookie Beds
are smiling on the same night. How happy are you
for Tioskar to get some sunflower seats tonight?

Speaker 2 (00:23):
I mean, I'm super excited for him, man, I know, uh,
you know, I understand, you know, I kind of went
going through the same thing, went through the same thing,
so it's just as good to have to say oh back, for.

Speaker 1 (00:33):
Sure, Mookie. It feels like the last few nights, the
game is rewarding you. Last night, your big two out
two runs single. Just trying to get the runs in tonight,
obviously doing what Mookie does and pulling for power.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
Yeah, I mean, I guess, you know, I don't really
look at it from that perspective. You know, I just
put into work and you know, just just got to
stay ready for your opportunities and uh, you know, they've
they've come my way and fortunately I've been able to
pull it through. But it's definitely uh This is all
definitely coming from our starting pitching, and those guys have
been doing an amazing job.

Speaker 1 (01:07):
When you get starting pitching like you've gotten the last week,
what does that mean for the team the offense?

Speaker 2 (01:12):
I mean everything. I mean it sets the tone, It
sets its tone every day, and them boys give us
the opportunity to win every night. And there's a lot
of ball teams that can that can't say.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
That, Bookie. A lot of things to unpack when you
cross home played. After your home run number one, you
and Otani had a giggle. Number two, you blew a
kiss to somebody.

Speaker 2 (01:33):
So my mom is here. So when my mom's in town,
she has always got to get a kiss.

Speaker 1 (01:38):
Oh man, See when mom shows up, Mookie goes deep.

Speaker 2 (01:43):
Yeah, that's a That's why I just try to pick
and choose when she comes to make sure that it
always works.
