Tommy Edmund, last year's n LCS MVP, you almost had
my boat until that third home run.

Speaker 1 (00:12):
This year, Yeah, I mean that's tough to argue. At
ten ten strakouts three homers in a clinching game, and
that's tough to be You've been around a lot of
great players.

Speaker 2 (00:21):
Have you ever seen a performance like that in the
postseason by anybody?

Speaker 1 (00:26):
No, I mean, it's no way that's I thought. I
thought that last year's six or six three homer game
was the most impression thing I've ever seen until today.
And I was just absolutely saying, I've never seen anything
like it.

Speaker 2 (00:38):
Tommy. When the Dodgers created for you, you were such a
big part of it. Now you're going back to the
World Series for a second straight year. Could it have
played out any better in your mind than this?

Speaker 1 (00:49):
No? Absolutely not. I mean it's it's it's crazy to
look back at how last year started, you know, being
injured the whole year, going to the World Series, and
obviously this year the regular season, you know, it didn't
go the way I expected, you know, kind of being
injured and not playing super well. And then going back
to the World Series now, it's really a blessing and
it's amazing to work out like that.

Speaker 2 (01:10):
It feels like you, Tay Oscar, you got right at
the right time and your starting pitchers got right at
the right time. Is this just a perfect storm for
you to be able to sweep a team like that? Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:22):
I mean our our four aces, you know, really stepped up.
I think what they scored three four runs the whole series,
and that's a good lineup too, Like they had, they
scored a bunch of runs here in the regular season
and I just couldn't put anything together against our starters.
And you know, just everybody getting healthy at the right
time was was huge for us. And and you know
they're all performing like we know they're capable of and

hopefully we can do in the World Series too.

Speaker 2 (01:45):
Are you thinking about not showering it just going through
the rampart Tommy's Chilisberger tonight.

Speaker 1 (01:51):
You know, I'm thinking about it. I'm really thinking about it,
but you know, I feel like I got to get
the smell off me first. But it's really tempting though.

Speaker 2 (01:58):
Congratulations, and I'll try to help you find some stuff
over here. Tommy here, I got a couple of drips
