To see that always great to see you.

Speaker 3 (01:10):
I want to here yesterday this Dodger's play, indeed, today
was a Rogan and Rodney list. Rogan and Rodney. Now,
to be fair, we had a Petrosen Money lest Petrosen
Money on Tuesday. On Tuesday for a shorter show, but
today was a Rogan and Rodney list. Rogan and Rodney.

(01:32):
They had the overnight FS, our guys, Ben Maller and
of course our friend Jonas Knox. We're in. But tomorrow
this will be even more interesting.

Speaker 2 (01:41):
Oh, we got a different lineup tomorrow going into our

is for Rogan and Rodney.

Speaker 3 (02:05):
As of right now. No, when it's gonna be. Yeah,
I'm telling I was noon tomorrow. I know that I
was telling you as of right now. Okay, here's myself.
It is myself, an animal.

Speaker 4 (02:17):
Is there a pending change penning another edition, but it
is definitely Adam and myself.

Speaker 3 (02:23):
We might add a third, but is definite myself. What
Brianna it would be who we ad I don't know
I don't know the kitten is the kitten coming? Remember
when I was your love interest, Adam, Remember get.

Speaker 2 (02:42):
The Vanilla Kitten in there. Man, that's a show I'd
listened to. And we got a long drive ahead of us. Kevin,
we're gonna be listening. We're gonna be listening to the
f n A on the am band.

Speaker 3 (02:52):
So tomorrow the FNIT podcast hits the air five years
too late. You guys should have been on five years ago.
Appreciate that.

Speaker 2 (03:00):
Thank you.

Speaker 3 (03:02):
I'll never forget. We had a running back at USC
who was he had broken O. J. Simpson's record at
San Francisco City College and he was a huge recruit.
We brought him in and it was a big deal,
like the first day of spring practice, like a bunch
of news cameras came there and all that. And he
was a he was a running back. And it was

(03:22):
painfully obvious right when we started, like this guy broke
OJ's record, like we saw him like in the drills
and stuff, were like this guy not there, Hell yeah
he did, you know, but he did. He did break
Ojay's record, and he didn't end up having, you know,
the career that people thought he was going to have.
But I remember he scored a touchdown or two wh
like his last game ever against Louisiana Tech in nineteen

(03:43):
ninety nine, and I said to him, man, that was great.
You know he's score a couple of touchdowns. He goes,
could have been doing that a three year And that
is what I think of when I hear FNA podcast
is on tomorrow. Put have been off for three year.

Speaker 2 (03:59):
We're here now, that's all the matter. So who would
the third be? Will you share with us? So you're
is it Dan Waki the.

Speaker 3 (04:04):
Guy, the porn guy? That who porn guy? What you know?
The sam Zea.

Speaker 2 (04:10):
Is it? Is it moy Thai? Moy Thai guy?

Speaker 3 (04:14):
Zach?

Speaker 4 (04:15):
No, it does not, Zach stand up to me, Thai.
It's not no, right, I honestly do not know. Still
in discussions, I don't know.

Speaker 2 (04:24):
It's above your pay grade. They may drop a third
person in.

Speaker 3 (04:27):
So it's like a chef looking at his spice rack
right now. You know he's already got Kevin and Adam
in the bowl, right, and then he's like, you know,
a little nut meg, what should I adder? So we're
looking forward to that. That's awesome. Now you'll be happy
to know that Fred Rogan will be on tomorrow, but

(04:48):
not on this station. Fred's filling in for Tim Conway
head to head with the Petrosen Money Show. I might
drop by and say hello, he'll be live. Oh great,
don't us any favors, right, he'll be live in studio
for the first time in quite some time. But at
KFI failure good. I can see from your face. Why

(05:11):
are you skin it up your face? Matt? I can
see from your face he said that information does not
please you.

Speaker 2 (05:17):
His name is on a show. The show is called
Rogan and Rodney. Yes, now, if he can come to
the station to do a show on Friday, July eleventh,
you would think the show that he would do would

(05:37):
be the one that has his name on the marquee.
You're not that one that's called the Tim Conway Junior
Show with Fred Rogan.

Speaker 3 (05:46):
Philly Well, I mean, Matt, you would think. But when
you think, and that's just point when you think, that's
just point one, when you think, you use logic, and
logic does not live here in the middays. No, you know,
logic lives on a super yacht and in the desert
on the in the middays.

Speaker 2 (06:06):
Now forgive me if.

Speaker 3 (06:07):
Oh, Kevin just took off his head, sat, you got
to get ready for the big show.

Speaker 2 (06:10):
Well, it's good for you.

Speaker 3 (06:11):
Got to get ready to the big show.

Speaker 2 (06:12):
Happy that Kevin and Adam are doing fn A on
AM five seventy noon to three. That part of it's awesome, right,
I'm rapt about that.

Speaker 3 (06:18):
I hear that.

Speaker 2 (06:20):
Yeah, so you've done Bill Handle for hours in the morning. Yes,
dragging your ass out of bed. Sure, come to work,
Petros and Money Show. You do your four hours? Sure
you know why because they don't overlap.

Speaker 3 (06:34):
And I've done it. I've filled in for Conway before,
but I got an argument with Mark Ronner about masks
because he was such a dork. But I've done Conway before,
but it was like early show, so we came and
did our show.

Speaker 2 (06:48):
I've done four hours of Gary and Share remember that. Yeah,
take an hour off and then Money Show from two
to five. If Fred were to do Rogan and Rodney,
my math's not good here, so help me with it. No,
it's just it's not runs noon to three. Said, I
knew this was gonna upset you to skin up your face.

Speaker 3 (07:07):
Maybe it's about having great energy with with with Kevin
figures and fully functional employet.

Speaker 2 (07:16):
You think it's you think it's benevolent on Fred's behalf,
you would get that, like you.

Speaker 3 (07:26):
Said, Like you said, Matt, you can look at this
in a whole bunch of different ways and change the angle.
You might even say Fred's being benevolent to the listeners
from New to Three. Yeah, he's actually coming in. Well,
Fred sees him actually coming. I think Fred sees himself

(07:47):
now as a political or local UH news pundit through
his desert work and his show in Palm Springs, which
is not Yeah, which is not you know what. My
brother's in laws live in the desert.

Speaker 2 (08:03):
And they give you reports on the road.

Speaker 3 (08:05):
I was reported to by Joyce Keel, my brother's very
lovely mother in law, and she is not a fan
of the Rogan Report.

Speaker 2 (08:14):
What is her issue with it?

Speaker 3 (08:15):
She didn't like it. She doesn't like his vibe. She
doesn't like him acting like he knows everything about the
Coachella Valley because he doesn't.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
And she's been here for five minutes.

Speaker 3 (08:23):
Fred, she was very unhappy, and she was like very
reluctant to tell me because she thought I liked Fred,
and I was like, no, don't you worry.

Speaker 2 (08:33):
Do you have any idea what Fred did to me?

Speaker 3 (08:36):
What was worse than OJ?

Speaker 2 (08:37):
Worse than OJ?

Speaker 3 (08:39):
So overall, Matt, I knew that would upset you, but
I knew we had to get it out of the
way before the show went any further. This has been scheduled.
Talk may I schedule talk scheduled talk. We got more.

Speaker 2 (08:54):
I'm gonna look at the bright side of that. The
glasses half full. Adam and Kevin great leading for us.
Those guys. We also Lovey. We also love the Tim
Conway Junior Show. Definitely. I don't know what the hell
they're thinking.

Speaker 3 (09:06):
Yeah, I mean it's like.

Speaker 2 (09:08):
I mean, let's steffuish to the show.

Speaker 3 (09:13):
I turned in for that. But our big event for
the real schedule time is just one more thing on
please please you know what you know what, Tim? You
know what you are. You are the most instigating. You
are like a terrible like a terrible mean girl in
high school because you plant these seeds, you cloud seed.

(09:35):
And then you sit back and you watch Matt and
I get all angry and mad and and and then
you act like, oh, don't say that, oh don't say that.
But you're the one that off air goes, hey, you
know what, friend's actually gonna be here, but he's not
doing his shoe like you know, well, you know what
you do. And then we're about done, right, We're about done.

(09:56):
We're gonna move on. We're gonna promote our big show
on Rancho Kook and what do you hear me? Oh,
I just got one more thing.

Speaker 2 (10:03):
What do we got, Kate? Give it to me. I
forget it, No, forget it. Hey, that's one half of
this room, Kate. The other half is very excited about
what you're about to share.

Speaker 3 (10:10):
Actually, I actually got wind of this yesterday in the
hallway from Skaffouche and I thought it was staff whatever,
and he goes, hey, yeah, your guy Fred's filling in
on Friday for a comment. I said, first, off's not
my guy, and I said, really, you shut your mouth.
He's filling in And I said, that's crazy. He's gonna
do this three hour show and then do three more.

(10:32):
I bet you Skaffoosh thinks that like you and Fred
live in the same apartment or something. Doesn't even know.
The more more I thought about it, how this is
Fred just salivating an opportunity to talk politics, in news.

Speaker 2 (10:43):
Wait and they get a load of what I say.

Speaker 3 (10:47):
And they go back to the desert like I just
did KAFI Radio in Los Angeles. Right, this is a
huge that's going to go over well Fred. They're going
to eat it up at Sullivan's upstairs on Alpha sal.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Any idea Why I'm late?

Speaker 3 (11:02):
Why I didn't get here till sic or sat down
my caprazy salad was serve Oh no, he's coming in.

Speaker 2 (11:09):
We just assume that Fred's doing the show from Palm
Springs because that's where he does the show and his
name on it every day.

Speaker 3 (11:14):
Oh Sullivan will still serve him at nine when he
rolls in late. But I have to say Matt was
very disappointed, skinned up his face when he heard the news.
Anything else, Kate's no, I don't want to instigate. Next
thing you're gonna tell us is is Rodney Pete's on
a yacht with Magic Johnson running around?

Speaker 2 (11:34):
You know what it's like.

Speaker 3 (11:36):
I don't. As a matter of fact, Matt, I don't.

Speaker 2 (11:39):
Know what it's like. She's gonna take two and a
half weeks up, that's all. She's gotta go.

Speaker 3 (11:45):
More yacht culture as the show continues. But we're not
sweating it either we got stuff going on as well. Right,
Rancho kok is on the map, that's tomorrow, less than
twenty four hours from now, will hit the air. You
might want if you're going out to Rancho Cook watch
Blake Snell tonight, you might want to spend the night
sleep off your hangover.

Speaker 2 (12:05):
Yeah, get it. Maybe a book, a room at the
Ontario Airport Hotel, or sack the bond in or so
nice red roof.

Speaker 3 (12:12):
Second stop of the twelfth Lions in twelfth annual Petre
Somebody Summer Tour is tomorrow, Matt and we're going out
to Rancho Koch check Tapper's tap room and eery the
one at Rancho Kucamonga.

Speaker 2 (12:23):
Ladies and gentlemen, multiple locations. You want the one right
off the two ten Freeway. We love Freeway adjacent Haven
Avenue starts at three, goes until six, leading into Dodger
Giants Baseball. And Joe Kelly, our dear friend, so close
with Joe Kelly, so close. We're the one that helped

(12:45):
make his Instagram page a viral sensation.

Speaker 3 (12:47):
We put Joe Kelly on the map.

Speaker 2 (12:49):
Joe, why don't you share the video of you breaking
the window?

Speaker 3 (12:51):
There.

Speaker 2 (12:52):
You know, that's a good idea.

Speaker 3 (12:54):
Next thing, you know, it's everywhere, And guess who doesn't
get any credit? Bleach a report out kick everywhere. You
know what, though, Matt clamoring us clamoring for credit, I've
seen the flip side of this. David Vase David Vassay
yesterday off air, David Vassy was completely unhinged about just

(13:17):
just going no. He was just going crazy and he blamed.
He said, how do you like Joe Kelly just falling
in your lap? And I was like, I guess that's
normally what guests do. I'm a radio host and location line.
That's a coincidence. I was like, I guess, thanks Dave,
So Dave, am I wrong? Tim? I mean Dave wanted

(13:39):
to take credit for Joe Kelly. Then he took credit
for our inside the Locker Room on Monday with Ben Casparius.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
That we have scheduled. Appreciate that, Thank you Ben.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
And he also took credit for Tarantula Hill. He I mean,
how many things is he going to take credit for it?

Speaker 2 (13:55):
All of them?

Speaker 3 (13:55):
And I was like, well, okay, Dave, I guess I
just show up here and stuff falls in my lap.
That's right. I was like, okay, and he's like, I
have to go out there and I have to get interviews.
I have to hunt them down. I have to go
out and you know, work the streets and get them. Yeah,
well you're a reporter. Yeah. Those Travis Matthew gift cards
are pretty enticing too.

Speaker 2 (14:13):
Oh look at Kate's little back door shot.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
Oh, the Javier's gift cards are giving out to the
players nowadays. Those are pretty enticing too.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
Now.

Speaker 2 (14:20):
And Dave's defense, he also hustles for those gift cards
that is not provided by an AE, that is Dave
procured Travis and Matthew gift card.

Speaker 3 (14:30):
We nobody celebrates Dave more than us, that's true. So Dave,
what is the hand that feeds you taste?

Speaker 2 (14:37):
Like?

Speaker 3 (14:38):
Okay, second out and nine.

Speaker 2 (14:40):
So Joe Kelly, okay, second down and not courtesy of
David Vesse.

Speaker 3 (14:45):
Apparently, No, it's not because of David Vessure. It's not.
You know what I think happens. I think Dave Weize.
You think anytime there's a Dodger guest, I think our
promotional guy, Dave Weed does a bang up job. Sees
somebody showing the the slightest inkling of respect or camaraderie
with Vassay and we like a wedge sticks his face

(15:07):
in there, and I think that bothers Vassa. Am I wrong? Cades?
That's not really you know, I'm right, it's not really.
I'm not really acturate because he doesn't want Weez to
get butter. He doesn't want the truth to be.

Speaker 2 (15:21):
Did we get Joe Kelly?

Speaker 1 (15:23):
Uh?

Speaker 3 (15:23):
Well, we kind of collabed and said who lives out there?
Who is not playing baseball right now? And and oh wow,
Joe Kelly lives in the kook.

Speaker 2 (15:31):
Who made first contact?

Speaker 3 (15:32):
Uh, Dave weis And I'll tell you that like that,
say it takes credit? Why does he have ownership over
Joe Kelly? Because he says he does. Well, you heard
him yesterday. Am I making this up? You're acting like
I'm making this up? No, you're not making it up.
He does act like he owns everything. He owns all
of our relationships.

Speaker 2 (15:50):
Dodger contact, Any Dodger contact you make must go through date. Yeah,
he is the gatekeeper. He really is a Dodger gatekeeper.
And if you credit size the Dodgers, and he doesn't
like your brand of criticism, or even if it's a
criticism that he's used in the past, he will pooh
pooh your criticism because only Dave has the right and

(16:14):
the man talk about my kids, well, I talk about
my kids.

Speaker 3 (16:18):
He has the mandated ability to criticize the Dodgers where
others not allowed. They do not know because they're not
with the team.

Speaker 2 (16:25):
You don't know.

Speaker 3 (16:26):
They don't know what these guys are. You don't know
what their foots smell like. I'm with them. So that's
I mean, that's kind of what we're up against here,
and we got so much to celebrate. Smell's pitching tonight.
Dave takes credit for that and out there because he's
got Dodger talk tonight with.

Speaker 2 (16:41):
Orrol Herscheizer do it from the coup. That's what I said,
stay the night like you said, fagabond in a nice lakinta.
You know, comfort suits. Number of options out there, plenty.
Come to September tomorrow, Best Western, Best Western, I don't know, Hotel six.

Speaker 3 (16:56):
I don't know. I don't know, but I'm not I'm
not miss representing this. You know, Matt wasn't here the
last couple of years. The days I was here yesterday,
and I have to say I came home to David
Vassay like humping the.

Speaker 2 (17:11):
Floor, like losing his mind. You did the show with
Dave yesterday?

Speaker 3 (17:14):
No, but he was here like freaking out and running
around and he gleam basted and attacked Kate's for two
and a half hours on Tuesday. That hurt.

Speaker 2 (17:24):
Oh, that's right. The both of you did the show Tuesday, right,
So I'm.

Speaker 3 (17:27):
Just saying, Matt, you missed a lot of vitriol from
David Vassa. Luckily, there's a lot going on. We've got
our big event in Rancho Cook tomorrow. We're expecting people
to come out. We expect you to be there early
because Joe Kelly is going to be there early three
to three thirty, straight out the gate. Joe Kelly and
we have a special announcement. We have Mariachi and Tigua

(17:51):
de Mexico coming off a great mariachi band. They will
be at tomorrow's three o'clock hour presentation. Ronnie guests that
will fade him in and fade them out like we
do with a live band. And that's courtesy of our
friend in Huntington Beach, the Great Bert's Burgers, Bert's Burgers.

Speaker 2 (18:17):
Pressure on Main Street, Huntington Beach.

Speaker 3 (18:19):
They got us the Mariachi band. Thank you, Ryan, so
Mariachi Joe gets Mariachi in Tegua, New Mexico thanks to
Bert's Burgers in Huntington Beach. And we did get some
listeners down there. I got textosos of listeners that went
down to bertz Berger's for the fourth of July holiday

(18:39):
weekend and enjoyed themselves. So thank you to listener Union,
Ryan and Bert's Burgers his culinary endeavor for securing our
musical guest. Now, Matt. Times are hard in Dodger Land.
People are sad. Six in a row. Six in a
row makes sense, sweeps people feel I don't think anybody

(19:02):
outside of the Dodger globe is worried about the Dodgers
or feels bad for the Dodgers. But that doesn't mean
we can't feel our own feelings.

Speaker 2 (19:10):
Le yougo one in five instead of zero and six,
you feel a lot better about yourself, no doubt, a
lot better. But we still have to feel our feelings.

Speaker 3 (19:16):
And Jerry Harriston is one of our feelings feelers, and
he comes from sports to at LA and he'll join
us in the very next segment. But we also will have.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Arguably the most positive very of all Dodger analysts in pundents.

Speaker 3 (19:29):
Well, that's why we're trying to even it out with
a national and local perspective. The local we have Jerry
Harston and Dave and Dave who is an entity all
in and of himself. That's not opposite ends of the spectrum.
By the way, they're both positive. David Veassay just delivers
his positivity in a violent and insulting manner. Hairston just

(19:49):
gives you the sweet stuff kind of how it goes. Yeah,
it's kind of like a donut shop, Greg Amsinger, though
he is part of the award winning coverage over it.
If Harriston's donuts get stale, though, you kind of get
tired of his take. You know, you got it frend
of one any day over fresh fresh hot takes. Yes,
fresh positive sweet take right. There no replaying that. Let's

(20:10):
get it when it's on in seven minutes, that's right,
and then we're cruising. Amsinger is gonna join us. You're right, Matt,
we got to serve it fresh.

Speaker 2 (20:20):
The thing, although those takes do get hot when it
comes to Lebron, he gets the hot anti Lebron takes
and that gets them in a little bit of trouble
with a certain sect of La people. So we appreciate
him for our guy Harriston. Our guy Harriston is number
one fan of the MJ club when it comes to
MJ versus Lebron and is very active on the social
channels with that particular shouldn't even be a question. But

(20:42):
Amsinger from MLB Network will join us at four o'clock.

Speaker 3 (20:45):
So Jerry Harriston, Junior, Greg Amsinger and David Vasse An
F one report three Things Thursday, Local Knowledge one of
the headlines. We got a lot of stuff going.

Speaker 2 (20:56):
Out of at least I hope you do him that well.

Speaker 3 (20:58):
I don't know. Actually, I'm not really sure anymore, Matt,
not really sure about anybody anymore.

Speaker 2 (21:03):
This Mariachi d Antigua de Mexico really moves around. They
say they will cover La Orange, Victorville, Riverside, sand Bordeaux. Yeah,
I mean they get around. Well, Matt was impressive.

Speaker 3 (21:20):
It's not just Mexicans in Lay.

Speaker 2 (21:22):
They get all over the place. These guys, we got
them in Rancho Cooke, Rancho Cook tomorrow and we got prizes. Yes,
we do plenty of prizes. Our friend Brett from Westinghouse
gave us another TV, so we got a fifty five
inch TV we're given away. We've got Dodger tickets to
give away if you live in that area. Big Night
you mentioned it tonight for Blake Snell getting the start
in Rancho at Rancho Cook for the Quakes Tomorrow at

(21:45):
Lonemark Field. It's going to be Joe Kelly Bobblehead Night
and we're going to get you a pair of premium
seats to enjoy that evening's festivities with our guest of
honor that was booked through the kindness of David Vassa
and the telephone of Dave Wist Joe Kelly. We'll also
give away a two night stay at an MGM resort
in Las Vegas and you'll get tickets to the iHeart

(22:05):
Music Festival. That's a new ad there.

Speaker 3 (22:08):
Dodger gatekeeper and key master, David. We'll be right back
with Jerry harriston Sweet Dodger takes Baked Daily, Get him
Fresh next and more to come after that. Petro somebody
on M five seventy LA Sports here, how about the Dodger.

(22:33):
We've made it even easier to take LA Sports with
you this summer.

Speaker 1 (22:36):
Make AM five seventy or your favorite AM five seventy
LA Sports podcast a preset on the iHeartRadio app using
Apple CarPlay or Android Auto road Trip all summer with
LA Sports.

Speaker 2 (22:48):
Full four hour show today going until seven pm. David
Vassil join us an hour three at five o'clock hour.
We'll have Greg Amsinger in about a half hour. He's
part of the MLB Network. No Dodger Baseball today. They
start that series against the Giants tomorrow. We'll be leading
into that one from our second stop of the twelfth

(23:08):
annual PMS Summer Tour out at September's tap Room in
Eatery in Rancho Kook, a three to six pm show,
and again Joe Kelly will join us live straight out
the Gate beginning at three pm, but.

Speaker 3 (23:21):
To discuss the Dodgers and their lack of production. In
the last couple of series, we will be having a
conversation with Jerry Harriston Jr. From Spectrum Sportsnet LA holding
it down in a positive way, facing the slings and

(23:42):
arrows of outrageous fortune that come from frustrated Dodger fans
that come with losses. Is the fan base spoiled? No doubt?

Speaker 1 (23:49):
Yes?

Speaker 3 (23:50):
Does it matter? Not really? He's joining us on the
Southern California Toyota Dealers Celebrity Hotline. It is Jerry Harston Jr.
Once again on the Petrosen Money Show. What's cracking, Jay Hare?
How are you?

Speaker 5 (24:03):
What's going on?

Speaker 3 (24:03):
Guys? How you doing great? Doing fine? Doing fine? You know,
we're not as affected by the negativity as our friends,
you know, Tim Kats and David Vassa and Colin Yee,
you know your Dodger friends around here at the on
the radio station. I mean, I know that nationally nobody
cares about the Dodgers problems, but how how concerning is

(24:24):
this for you that that's been two straight series and
they don't have any offense?

Speaker 5 (24:29):
Well, listen, I understand the frustration. I understand Dave Vassy
he's in panic mode. I get it. He's crass. You
guys know that. But you got to remember, this is
not football. So if you want to compare it to football,
when you lose six or seven in a row in baseball,
that's like losing one game in football in the Grand

(24:52):
scheme of things. You got to understand you're going to
have a week ten days where you're not going to
be at your best. So obviously, Freddy Freeman, Mookie bets
Show A time, even Show A, they have not hit
to their capabilities. And I'm sorry, I'm not giving up
on Freddy Mookie's show. They're just too good, too talented.
And you know, we go through this every single year,

(25:14):
every team, every great team, goes through this. You're going
to have peaks and some valleys, and right now we're
in that little valley. So hopefully this day off we'll
get these guys, you know, recovered and be ready to
go in San Francisco and start getting back to playing
really good baseball.

Speaker 2 (25:31):
So I mean, you know what it looks like better
than just about everyone. Jerry, what do you say? It's
crazy they're all going through it at the same time.
I'm sure it's for different reasons. Like if you you know,
as you look at it, what do you think it is?
What's happening with Show A, what's happening with Freddy, what's
happening with Mookie? Why are they in these slumps? If
there's anything that's a tell that you can see, well.

Speaker 5 (25:52):
I think show a. I'll attack him first listen for
good reason. You know he's back to pitching. I think
maybe a little tired. You know, he's playing every day.
He was doing his bullpen session, having that build up
to get ready to start pitching again. So there might
be a little bit of fatigue and just playing a
long season get you a little bit. Look, you bet,

(26:15):
maybe a little fatigue. You know his swing, he's such
an incredible athlete. When he's not using his top hand,
just from my eyes, that barrel will drop a little bit. Now,
could it be a little bit fatigue. Maybe, Remember he
lost a whole bunch of weight and maybe coming back
trying to regain that weight. Maybe he's kind of hit

(26:36):
a little bit of a snag a little bit. And
Freddy Freeman, we know he's got one of the best
back to ball skills I've ever seen. He could have
played in any era. He's trying to find his swing.
So you're gonna have guys go through their stretches where
he's not going to be there offensively. Unfortunately for us,
those two are doing at the same time. Sometimes you
have one guy go through it and the other two

(26:57):
guys will carry you. Then the next guy will slump,
and then the other two guys that carry. So right now,
all three of them are going about it as far
as struggling at the same time. I will say this,
wait till these guys get hot. I'm telling you, these
guys are too good, too great of players to go
through this for a long stretch of time. So I

(27:17):
am not worried one bit. I know Freddy's frustrated, I
know Mookie's frustrated. I know Show eights show some frustration
as well. But our guys have been injured. Max Month,
he's out, Tiaskar Andnani's has not been right since that
growing injury. Tommy Edmond's not been right. Once we get
our guys healthy and incomes Blake, spell back, Blake trying
to move back soon. We just saw Tyler Glass. Now,

(27:40):
in my mind, you better get us now, because once
our guys are right and healthy, we're gonna be tough
to be So I guess.

Speaker 2 (27:46):
Then, you know, the the other side of the lineup
or the you know the bottom of the lineup there
are you? How concerned are you with that? You know,
with CONFORDO seem like you had that little window of
two to three games where it was working for him. Obviously,
we know how well Paz has played, but just kind
of what about that part of the lineup, including you know,
Tommy Edmond and the injury, and how you try to
get that thing to at least tread water while these

(28:07):
guys are going through whatever it is they're going through.

Speaker 5 (28:10):
And that's when these guys that's a that's a great,
great question, because that's when you're alive on your your
guys likeing they go to Rowhouse, who's playing really good
baseball to step up? You know, I'm really surprised. I
thought Michael Conforto would feast in this lineup. You know,
him hitting six or seven, it is the perfect lineup
to kind of ambush, and for whatever reason, he struggled

(28:32):
with the bat. It's really been an entire season, and
I thought he would catch fire. It's unfortunately he hasn't
really caught fire. I'm hoping he does, because the back
of the baseball card suggests that. That being said, you know,
the Dodgs is historically of always, just like every other
team has always looked at the deadline. Teams are in
it to see how they can better their ball club. Now,

(28:53):
do they go out and get another bat that can
pay outfield, if it's a possibility they might go do that.
Do they go get another arm in the b to
help our guys who have done a great job. Guys
in the bullpen are a little hired. We have the
most innings by any bullpen in the big leagues. Fat
that can't happen. That can't happen. So, you know, awfully,

(29:13):
when we get our guys back, like like I mentioned
snow now we got Glass down back, hopefully get Rokie
Suzaki back at some point and we start pitching deeper
in the ball games. Our bullpen won't be as tax
as much. But we get Bruce jas Grader back sometime
in the second half, Blake trying in back, and maybe
get another arm to help that bullpen, to take the
pressure off those guys out of that bullpen, and then

(29:36):
come you know, August first, after the tread deadline, with
guys healthy and maybe a move or two, I think
we're going to be in good shape.

Speaker 3 (29:43):
How much does that pending time off affect any baseball team?
You know, a bad baseball team, a good baseball team,
high expectation team, tired team, young team. How does that
All Star break that's coming up affect these guys mentally
right now or does it at all?

Speaker 5 (30:01):
I think it helps the veteran players more than the
young players. The young players, you know, they got a
lot of energy. You know, sometimes that break is not
good for them. The veteran players know how to use
that break to mentally reset. Even the guys that play
in the All Star Game, you know, they can kind
of underline, take that little mental break and it really
start to gear up for the second half. So you know,

(30:23):
if you look at this Doctor team historically, especially in
recent years, we haven't played that great of baseball heading
into the All Star break. We just really have it.
That's the excuse. But that being said, they know they
have an entire second half to go, and it's not
just playing in the second half. You know, they have
another month or after the season because they expect to

(30:45):
be in the World Series and win it. So I
know fans are irritated, they're frustrated, trusting the players are
frustrated too, But I really believe these guys and I
know once they take that a little bit of a
mental break, and now that don't mean they don't go
out there to San Francisco and win two a three.
I expect them to do that and play get baseball.
But once they all start break hits, I expect them
to take that metal break and be ready to go

(31:06):
for the second half.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
Jay Hare is bare feet in the dirt, poes in
the ground with the Dodgers, and uh, you know the
ebbs and flows of the way this stuff works. Are
you surprised with the way the first half has worked out,
with all the with all the different storylines that we've followed.

Speaker 5 (31:24):
I'm gonna tell you, guys something. I'm gonna say something
they may irritate some Dodger fans. We've actually played better
than I thought we would play. I'm gonna be straight up.
With the injuries that we've had to our starting staff, guys,
the foundation of our team was our starting staff. Before
we got into the start of the season. What was
everybody saying, this is the greatest starting pitching, uh, that

(31:47):
that we've seen. Exactly, this is the foundation of the team.
You know. Our bullpen was tacked last postseason onto the
World Series. Are gonna be tired. It's a short, short
off season, and so they're gonna be tired. Heading of
the season. Our starting staff is going to carry us,
carried us. In fact, we've had a lot of people

(32:08):
get injured beyond the il and our bullpen had to
sustain us. And then our offense has really carried us
up until the last six seven, eight games. So I
think we're in a lot better shape than kind of
where we should be because we got guys that are
fighters in the clubhouse, great leadership. So that being said,

(32:28):
we have not played our best baseball at all this
first half at all, and yet we're in a good
position for to be in heading in the second half.
So if this was stuck, I would I would buy
right now. I would be all in on the dogs
because they're gonna they're gonna have a great second half
of guys getting healthy.

Speaker 2 (32:50):
Just going back to the Otani point, Jerry just kind
of you're how how big of a deal do you
think that is? Because he's throwing two innings right now.
You know what happens if it goes back and you
continue to see a little bit of a hit offensively, Like,
how how do you now? And I know it's a hypothetical.
Who knows he's Otani? He's a total unicorn. He'll probably
figure it out. But if in fact that's what this is,

(33:14):
what's what's the right call there.

Speaker 5 (33:16):
I don't think it's him actually pitching in games. I
think it was the build up. I think the build
up was more taxing on him than actually now playing
pitching in games once every six or seven days. So
I think the last two months building up, you know,
making sure he's on his throwing program, pitching at two o'clock,
pitching in those sim games, and then at night at

(33:39):
seven be ready to go to lead off. I think
that has caught up to him. Now that he's pitching
in games, he doesn't have that much of a build
up as far as leading up to the starts. So
I think now he's going to get used to it.
He'll use the brick to kind of wind down a
little bit, and then he'll get back to the road,
to the routine that he's accustomed to. You remember last
year that was an anomaly for him, you know, just

(34:00):
being a DH he's used to doing this, used to
being a pitcher, pitching basically once a week, and being
that designated hitter. So I think the second half he'll
get more in that routine that he's used to and
he'll be back to swing in the back. And I
don't care who you are even in this DH year
last year and we only focus on the DH. He
did have a couple ten days two weeks where he

(34:23):
just wasn't hitting. That's every hitter, guys, everybody goes to that.

Speaker 2 (34:26):
They're in second place. They are five games back, and
that's even after the Dodgers went on a six game
losing streak. Here, but the Giants are the second place team.
Do you think they look like a playoff caliber club?
The Dodgers are facing their one, two, and three when
it comes to their pitchers. How good is this Giants
team this year?

Speaker 5 (34:46):
Well, I think the Giants team kind of has taken
the mantra of their GM Busser pose. He's always been hard,
knows knows the game. They have the trust of the
GM and Buster. They're a dangerous team. They pitch extremely well,
especially in that ballpark. That's the pitcher's ballpark. But historically

(35:06):
you know that, you know, Mookie Betts has done well
against that pitching staff. A couple other guys have done well.
So listen, you understand going in, you got to play
good baseball. You got to play clean baseball, you got
to catch the ball. You've got to pitch well and
have timely hitting. And that's another Shed even mentioned what
were we one for like ninety It seemed like with

(35:27):
runnings and score musicition against the Burs. I don't expect
that too, don't. I know I'm exaggerating, but it felt
that way.

Speaker 3 (35:34):
I believe you.

Speaker 5 (35:36):
I expect the Dodgers to make an adjustment and start
hitting better with runnings and score musition. We start doing that, guys,
with our defense and our pitching, which I really expect
to be really good, we should win the series.

Speaker 3 (35:49):
The one and Only Jerry Harriston Junior Spectrum Sports and
at LA and some hot basketball takes that you would

Speaker 3 (36:41):
I'm chill, I'm super chill.

Speaker 2 (36:43):
I'm so chill.

Speaker 3 (36:44):
I'm as chill as that guy that got beat up
by the NHL dude at the golf course. Hold your
hands up at least where's this guy doing five? Oh
my god? Pace of play? It's real problem. We'll be
back with some big news from the Dodgers next.

Elly did make the bold proclamation that they're playing even
better than he thought they were gonna.

Speaker 3 (38:01):
I'm gonna tell you this right now. Guys, fasten your
safety belts and make sure you're sitting down because I
got something to say.

Speaker 2 (38:09):
And by the way, it's almost back to back guests,
a rare occurrence. But Greg Amsinger got back to Tim

Take it straight to Vegas from two ten of the

Speaker 3 (39:39):
Speaking of Bobbleheads coming up and release today the second
half of the Dodger season promotional schedule. You lift for this.

Speaker 2 (39:53):
Man, Well, we used to live for it when we'd
get a box sent to us with two of eight,
three of each. Right time we get one for tim.

Speaker 3 (40:01):
Times have changed, like the usc Field passes and the
Pete Carroll era, A lot of that has dried up.

Speaker 2 (40:09):
That would get insulted by David Bassett will not even insulted.
But you're the fan made to be feeling. I guess
I'll take it away from Joseph and you can have it.

Speaker 3 (40:16):
Yeah. So it's we're in a position where we don't
want to ask for anything anymore, but here it is
for you, even though are we doing it now? Well,
I got him right here.

Speaker 2 (40:28):
I thought that was like the tease of teasing, like, hey,
an hour and a half.

Speaker 3 (40:36):
I mean it's not. It's not all about us. I
mean some of it could be for the fans, right,
we don't get any of this. Come on, I'll tell
you what this sucks Ron Says, speaking of bitterness July eighteenth,
versus the Brewers. You know he played at the Brewer.
It'd be in the Hall of Fame. Bobblehead's called the
Bitterness Penguin. Bobblehead. There you see it there, it's just
Ron Say, with an uncharacteristic smile on his face.

Speaker 2 (40:58):
There's the penguin.

Speaker 3 (41:00):
Fernando Vealezuela Saturday, July nineteenth, also versus the Brewers. That's
next week.

Speaker 2 (41:05):
Maybe the Brewers tickets weren't selling as well.

Speaker 3 (41:07):
So they thought they were gonna World Series players rings Monday,
July twenty first versus the Twins.

Speaker 2 (41:13):
I heard that's the one cass circle.

Speaker 3 (41:15):
That's got a ti Oscar. It's got a curse show.

Speaker 2 (41:18):
I got tickets.

Speaker 3 (41:18):
The whole family's going to that one. We're getting in Vessia.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
We're all getting rings, all of us, not just your
old man, all of us.

Speaker 3 (41:26):
Sad. That's just sad.

Speaker 2 (41:29):
Terrible, is what it is.

Speaker 3 (41:32):
Fingers crossed.

Speaker 2 (41:33):
I get the roll.

Speaker 3 (41:33):
It's like when the guy shows up for football practice
in the uniform he made out of tinfoil. Do you
remember we were at the remote last year and one
of the listeners came up is like, hey, check out
my ring cats. I'm like, oh, that's cool. And he
had a full on twenty twenty one.

Speaker 2 (41:49):
Yeah, season ticket older that is thank you.

Speaker 3 (41:52):
That's right, Tim, You don't work hard on them. Uh
Ti Oscar bibblehead July twenty second versus the Twins. Here's
oh Island and is a big home run in the
post season? There Roki Sasaki bobblehead. Who's that Asian guy
they signed last year's young Nothne's unfamiliar throws the gyro
ball or something familiar? Monday, August fourth versus the Cards.

(42:13):
Maybe he'll be back then by then, I don't know,
look at him. Oh that guy, Yeah, I remember him.
Hello Kitty cross body bagging a Hello, Kitty's big to
August fifth versus the Cardinals. Now here's where we really
get into it. Show Hey Otani World Series Ring Wednesday,
August sixth versus the Cards. What ring giveaways?

Speaker 2 (42:34):
Everyone gets one?

Speaker 3 (42:35):
I don't know about the ring, you know, but there's
two more Otani bobbleheads and everybody gets though.

Speaker 2 (42:40):
I'd like to think they do. Everybody gets a ring.
Unlike other iterations, they don't. Yes, other other ring dispersion
that everybody gets a ring.

Speaker 3 (42:49):
Guys, let's find our battles in other places.

Speaker 2 (42:51):
Okay, but Otani ring Night, you would hope is fifty
three thousand.

Speaker 3 (42:55):
Remember when Kobe Bryant played for the Dodgers. No, neither
do I. But here is Friday Kobe Bryant Bobblehead Night,
August eighth versus the Jays Kebbe's in his Laker uniform
and his batting stance.

Speaker 2 (43:09):
I believe your pinch hitter is wearing the wrong uniform, sir?

Speaker 3 (43:13):
Is Kobe Batton left there?

Speaker 2 (43:15):
Looks like it?

Speaker 3 (43:16):
Yeah, the putts from the roof. I don't know the
inspiration for that. Apparently at Immedia Day when he was
playing for the Lakers, they gave him a bat and
he took a picture, oh, in a batting stance, and
so they used that as the inspiration.

Speaker 2 (43:29):
Cut bobble idea, I like.

Speaker 3 (43:30):
Trying in Bobblehead Saturday, August sixteenth versus the Dad.

Speaker 2 (43:33):
Well, hopefully he'll be back. Jay Hare said he was
tracking that way.

Speaker 3 (43:36):
Mookie Bett's ring got these ring knights really say? Stay?
I mean yeah, August twenty fifth versus the Reds.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
Right, my face, Kates is gonna collect them all.

Speaker 3 (43:44):
It's like back team riding. Kates's wound to hell with one.
I got six, here's the big one shoe, Ao Toddi
fifty to fifty Bobblehead Wednesday Light Night versus The Red's
August twenty.

Speaker 2 (43:54):
Seventh, Huge. Everybody on their mom We should go to
the suite for that one by the line early forgot Hey, idiots,
everybody gets one, idiots.

Speaker 3 (44:04):
Key k Hernandez Bobblehead Sunday, August thirty first versus the
d Backs.

Speaker 2 (44:09):
That maybe he'll be back by then.

Speaker 3 (44:11):
Pants are tight. Show al TONI Bobblehead Wednesday, September tenth
versus The Rockies Rockies. Huh, key K is back right,
Keyk's player? Where is he here too? He's heard?

Speaker 2 (44:21):
KEYK posted a video heard jeezuz. He posted a.

Speaker 3 (44:24):
Video on Dodger social media promoting and he said, Hey,
I may or may not be in the lineup. At
least you can get my bobblehead, all right?

Speaker 2 (44:30):
Yeah?

Speaker 3 (44:31):
Uh Show al TONNI Bobblehead Wednesday, September tenth versus The
Rockies Wednesday Rockies O Tani Pitching.

Speaker 2 (44:39):
Look at that fifty three thousand.

Speaker 3 (44:40):
Everybody in their mom and Kyle Freeland, everybody in their
sinsay and Freeland Another ring Nights Monday, September fifteenth versus
the Phillies.

Speaker 2 (44:53):
Who's which one is that? Freddy Freeman Freeman.

Speaker 3 (44:59):
Tyler Glass now Bablehead Thursday September eighteenth versus the Giants. Well, yeah, ah,
why's he got a shirt on?

Speaker 2 (45:06):
And Matt back by this should be him double fisting buds,
put no shirt on? And I don't want to see
as you should have a removable cartoon mas like masks
and finally Matt backed by popular demand. It went away
in the first half and no one knew why. The
kids are gonna line up for this one deep into

(45:28):
the night. They'll be lined up all the way to
Spring Street.

Speaker 3 (45:35):
Joe Davis, Bobblehead, Friday, September nineteenth. I'm as cymore.

Speaker 2 (45:45):
What's it look like?

Speaker 3 (45:46):
You see it? Well, I think he's changed it like
eight times I heard. That's why they delay like he's
I don't like the cleft of my chin on the left.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
He's got the headset mic on, he's got the notes
and the computer little desk.

Speaker 3 (46:03):
It doesn't have the person taking a selfie of him.

Speaker 2 (46:06):
Now, what do you think that is on his desk.
Do you think that is like a major reward?

Speaker 3 (46:12):
I think it's a mirror there. And Matt, what's the
last one?

Speaker 2 (46:19):
Saturday September twentieth versus the Giants? Whoa Clayton Kershaw three
thousand strikeouts?

Speaker 3 (46:27):
Making that right now?

Speaker 2 (46:28):
That's a big one that's being cast in Taiwan as
we speak. You know who doesn't get one of those
kates that a hoole ump oh oh, it squeezed them.
Don't talk about Jim Wolf like that, Hey Wolf, no
bubble ahead for you squeezing him out on his three
thousand strikeout night.

Speaker 3 (46:49):
Change in history, Matt, they've lost two straight series. We'll
be back. That is what's coming up in Dodger Stadium.
Thought you find it interesting knowing my luck I go
to ring night. There are all I'm gonna be giving
out already? Oh sir, can I buy yours from you?
I don't know why you think you deserve a ring
case just doing the pre and post game for the
whole Sorry, I mean James Loney shows up for like

(47:11):
