It looks like.
Speaker 3 (00:59):
The police law enforcement gathering over there to my left,
God bless them, is coming to an end. There's some
people enjoying lunch. We're sorry, but you could still win something.
And Tim Kats is here. Matt's calling the charger game. Tim,
what is what is our progress with the prizes that
we've been giving away.
Speaker 5 (01:19):
Prizes have been going out very smoothly. We give away
the Raiders earbuds last break.
Speaker 4 (01:24):
We give you up the Raiders hereby somebody in the
back fourth table over there.
Speaker 5 (01:28):
Yeah, we gave away fifty dollar BJ's gift.
Speaker 3 (01:35):
Card, fifty BJ's gift card and it's fifty to fifty.
Steven won that one, okay, but I did hear. We
gave away a gift card to Justin for his twenty
first birthday.
Speaker 4 (01:44):
Happy birthday, Justin, and he got that fancy drink right.
Speaker 3 (01:48):
Yeah, Sunday bottom of a very fancy drink.
Speaker 4 (01:51):
Still coming up.
Speaker 5 (01:51):
We got another fifty dollars gift card, We got more tickets,
and we got Tim Never's copy of COVID Curveball for
all you Dodger fans out there.
Speaker 3 (02:00):
All right, So that's a pretty exciting prospect. And we
had James Worthy on in the first hour. He lamented
the modern NBA. We talked about the history, the sordid
history of the city of West Covina and it's neighboring city, Covina,
and their symbiotic relationship of death and the Spengali nature
(02:21):
of the two of them, the push and pull between those.
Speaker 4 (02:24):
We had that discussion.
Speaker 5 (02:25):
I feel like we learned more from the text Dosor
than we actually did from your great history.
Speaker 3 (02:30):
To start off the show, the Textoso didn't know where
the sewage farm ended up, but.
Speaker 5 (02:35):
I sure as hell do Hell no, no, but a
textosa Or knew the name of the street next to
the old dump. Yeah, and the textos Or knew what
this place was called for the last three times something
else was here.
Speaker 3 (02:46):
This used to be a safari bar that a lot
of people have a little bit of an erection over
it seat. But anyway, we got a lot going on,
and we're very, very happy that everybody's here. Missus January
is here, our Bjay's liaison, the most lovely lady in
every beak. And look at that demure glass that she has.
That's a nice drink that comes in a glass like that.
(03:08):
And our promotions people are here. And Dave Weis, who
work so hard all year putting together the Petrosen Money
Show remotes, we appreciate him. And this is our final
remote of twenty twenty. Cool. All right, without further ado,
it is time for the word of the day.
Speaker 2 (03:29):
His words, the word of the day.
Speaker 3 (03:31):
Today's word of the day is transfer portal. You might
not be interested in this kind of stuff, but I
certainly am. College football is a circus. It's a mess.
It's never been more chaotic. It's like a crazy unknown
drone show over New Jersey. Nobody knows what it is,
where it's coming, or where it's going, or who's going
(03:52):
to explain everything to us or regulate anything as it
goes on. But it is interesting. We have followed the
career of the Malik Murphy Yeah, at a Sarah High
School stud in Guardina. Malik Murphy originally went to Texas
and he got caught up even though he outperformed those
guys in the spring games, he got caught up in
(04:14):
the Quinn Yours and arch Manning thing at Texas.
Speaker 4 (04:18):
So he went to Duke.
Speaker 3 (04:20):
They had a great year at Duke, ten plus wins
at Duke this year, and now he's leaving Duke.
Speaker 4 (04:28):
Malik Murphy is going to.
Speaker 2 (04:32):
Warriors.
Speaker 3 (04:32):
Big No, No, You'll never get a Big twelve school
like you would be like, wow, where did that come from?
Speaker 4 (04:43):
Morgan State, Oregon State? Morgan State going to Oregon State.
Speaker 5 (04:50):
So you're going from the ACC where you dominated and
what were the best quarterbacks to the Big Pac two.
Speaker 3 (04:56):
I guess I mean, Duke started recruiting the Tulane guy
dari and Mensa. So when Duke started, it's like if
you have a girlfriend and she starts flirting with another guy.
This is what happened with the guy at Cal too,
Fernando Mendoza. You see, you know, you go to the
bathroom at the BJS. You come out and there's a
(05:17):
guy at the bar talking to your girl, and instead
of going over to the bar and being like, you know, hey,
should I stay at Duke or whatever, you just walk
right out the door in to Corvallis. You just leave,
and that's that's like, that's kind of where we're at.
Speaker 4 (05:30):
Now. What happened to the Cal quarterback? He left Cal.
Speaker 3 (05:32):
Ferdi Mendoza did not like, well, he's in the portal
right now. Ferdi Mendoza did not like the courting of
a high school player out of Hawaii's that Justin Wilcox
was doing, and they were offering him the nil money
that Ferdi Mendoza thought that he was gonna get. So
Ferdi Mendoza got butt hurt and now he's in the
(05:54):
transfer portal.
Speaker 4 (05:55):
And it's just what it is.
Speaker 3 (05:56):
It's when college football has created there's two portals because
the quarner system in the semester system don't line up,
and college football is an absolute dumpster fire right now,
the other big transfer quarterback, the number one quarterback on
the transfer portal, worst kept secret in America is going
to Oklahoma. John Mattier is following his offensive coordinator R
(06:18):
Buckle to.
Speaker 4 (06:22):
Oklahoma.
Speaker 5 (06:22):
That's interesting because they had him. They had a red
shirt freshman and a true freshman quarterback at Oklahoma. Those
guys gotta go Jackson Arnold and I don't remember the
true freshman.
Speaker 4 (06:30):
He was like the quarterback of the year in Texas
in high school.
Speaker 5 (06:33):
Goes to Oklahoma, took the guy's job, and now we
got the kid from Washington State going there to play
as well.
Speaker 3 (06:39):
Well, it's like an airline schedule. But the other weird
thing is if you're like a backup somewhere, You're like, yeah,
nobody wants me, I'm just gonna back up here. It's
like okay, because anybody is anybody. Third string guys are
getting scooped up and getting an opportunity and getting paid
in other places in some cases way too so we
(07:00):
saw it.
Speaker 5 (07:01):
Alabama's that's happened yesterday, the ad there said we need
to call the action right now, Greg Burn, we named this.
We need the tied nation to start raising some more money.
Speaker 4 (07:09):
Yeah, but that's the other thing.
Speaker 3 (07:11):
It's like having the best anil and making the most
money in your NIL collective doesn't mean you're going to
have the most success. If it did, Texas A and
m would be undefeated and win it all every year,
and Michigan wouldn't beat Ohio State every single year.
Speaker 5 (07:27):
They got Vanderbilt in the College Football playoffs, so they're
spending a ton of money. Vanderbilt, Tennessee. Excuse me, Jesus,
excuse me, Tennessee.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
I know they beat Alabama, but that takes more than that.
I got Vanderbilt on my mind right now.
Speaker 2 (07:39):
Why here's my number out out to number of the day.
Speaker 5 (07:44):
Yesterday petros A, Tennessee judge granted Vanderbilt quarterback Diego Pia. Yeah,
one more year of eligibility. He's played two years at
a JUCO.
Speaker 4 (07:56):
Well that's the thing.
Speaker 3 (07:57):
How about this, that's my number of the day. He
juco don't count anymore. God dagd that's my number of
the day. Absolutely, two years at a JUCO, three years
of d one started at where Texas, he went somewhere
in New Mexico state that he's been at Vanderbilt the
last two years. He used up all his eligibility, so
he asked to judge for a temporary injunction against the
(08:18):
NC DOUBLEA to let him play, saying that JUCO football
is not NCAA football.
Speaker 4 (08:24):
It's separate. It shouldn't count.
Speaker 3 (08:27):
So what about all the guys that burned up their
juco years and didn't get into it?
Speaker 4 (08:30):
Can you come back and get two more years?
Speaker 5 (08:32):
Like judge agreed and temporarily agreed that he can't play
shot more years. Absolutely, according to the court ruling, NC
DOUBLEA cannot enforce its eligibility rules Aaron against him.
Speaker 3 (08:44):
Aaron Rodgers is gonna come back and play a cont
He's gonna get those years from butte back.
Speaker 4 (08:48):
Now here's the thing.
Speaker 5 (08:49):
The NC DOUBLEA is gonna appeal this, and some experts
believe that the judge will eventually overturn his initial injunction
and it'll go back to what it was, but not
before this kid at Vanderbilt gets one more year of football.
They say it's going to take a year for the
court system to work this out, So this kid's gonna
get one more year at Vanderbilt.
Speaker 3 (09:09):
I like watching Diego Pavia though. I mean, he's a
fun player, He's very fiery, and he did some great
things at Alabama. He was great for Jerry Kill at
New Mexico State. Let's go Aggie's a Las crisis. And
he was fabulous at Vandy and he beat Alabama at
home and they played that Nick Saban SoundBite and all
was right with the world. But this just further proves
(09:30):
my point that college football is a stinking landfill.
Speaker 4 (09:35):
It's a mess.
Speaker 5 (09:36):
I saw this last night because there were some JUCO
coaches and reaction on Twitter. People are going crazy saying,
so Juco football doesn't have football.
Speaker 4 (09:44):
Like, what are we doing here? What about my guy Ted?
Speaker 3 (09:46):
I said, Now, old Teddy I College of the Canyon
at coc oh And speaking of my old teammates, jingle
Leg Steve Stevenson is in the house from USC, a
great wide receiver and the hero if I rememb remember correctly,
the hero of the loop for our teams at the
Charter Oak Chargers many years ago. It always warms my
(10:07):
heart to see an old teammate at one of our shows.
Jingle leg. The great Steve Stevens.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
What do you think the last time somebody called him.
Speaker 3 (10:15):
That jingle leg? No, no, I didn't come up with
jingle leg. Marcus Steele, the American Hero, came up with
jingle leg.
Speaker 4 (10:23):
All right, Ronny, this is.
Speaker 6 (10:27):
The song of the day.
Speaker 3 (10:57):
Great sports talk.
Speaker 4 (11:09):
Thank you, Ronnie.
Speaker 3 (11:10):
And by the way, I'm sorry about your juco where Okay,
you know you were about to spoil it.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
I jumped in, No you did. You did it well.
Speaker 5 (11:17):
I was gonna do the story about the Netflix series
on SEC conference schools.
Speaker 4 (11:21):
You know, not all of them participated.
Speaker 3 (11:22):
Right, It's all right, it's all just Missouri.
Speaker 5 (11:25):
You said it yesterday. It's mostly Missouri. But the others
team's springing bozzy. Alabama don't want a part of it.
Course Texas don't want a part of it.
Speaker 3 (11:34):
So before we get into this and I don't know
what's happening, and I sound like an idiot, and I
spend the whole break taking selfies. What is Steve Garvey
promoting dogs? What about dog and baseball? That's all that's
a tease dogs in baseball? And how he should be
(11:56):
in the Hall of Fame. Steve Garvey on Dogs, Baseball,
the LA Dodgers World Series, the Hot Stove, and how
he should be in the Hall of Fame. It's the
Peers Some Money Show on m five seventy LA's Bunch
your Home of the Dodgers live from BJ's Restaurant in
Brue House in beautiful West Covin. Are right by the target, Hoddlo. Everybody,
(12:22):
what's cracking and welcome back. It is the one and
only Petro Send Money Show on M five seventy LA

Where's George? Boys in the bathroom? Son, We're here at BJ's.
(12:44):
We will be here all the way until four thirty

looking for the Charger game, it'll be on ninety eight
seven Tonight, Matt and I will do our final show
of the year tomorrow.
Speaker 4 (13:00):
From three to seven.
Speaker 5 (13:01):
Is he on Petro's joining US now ten time All
Star World Series Champion, nl MVP, two time NLCS MVP,
four time Goal Glover, Referto Clemente Award winner. His number
six is retired by the San Diego Padres. He is
a member of the Legends of Dodgers Baseball at Dodgers Stadium.
Speaker 4 (13:20):
You see at Dodger Stadium all the time.
Speaker 5 (13:23):
He has got into the political realm and was so
close to representing the state of California h the debate.
Speaker 4 (13:29):
He had my vote.
Speaker 5 (13:31):
He is the one and only Steve Garvey who will
be at Dodger Stadium this Saturday. You can go out
and see Garb as the Dodgers have parted up with
the La County Animal Care Centers to find forever holmes
for dogs at Dodger Stadium this Saturday, December twenty first,
from ten am to two pm.
Speaker 3 (13:50):
He is the Dodger legend himself. Steve Garvey, Garb, how
you doing.
Speaker 7 (13:55):
My sons?
Speaker 8 (13:56):
My sons, boy, you've got that introduction down. I'll say it.
Speaker 3 (14:01):
That's us.
Speaker 4 (14:01):
We are here, Steve. It's great to hear from you.
Speaker 3 (14:04):
It's been a little while since we spoke because you've
been so busy, such a man around the country and
the globe. But overall, and I know it's been a
blinding fall for you, But how satisfying and gratifying was
it for you, especially with your history to see the
Dodgers beat the Yankees and have a parade at LA.
Speaker 8 (14:23):
Oh my gosh, guys, you knows and have done it
from wire to wire, so to speak, and having the
odds on favorites in Las Vegas, you know, early this year,
and it's always a journey.
Speaker 7 (14:36):
It's not easy. You know, this team has.
Speaker 8 (14:38):
Been put together over the last five or some years,
this particular group, but then the season gets going and
you have injuries and one thing leads to another, and
it takes a lot of leadership from the front office
down to the field, and so proud of each and
every one of them.
Speaker 7 (14:55):
Of course, I.
Speaker 8 (14:55):
Think Dave Roberts sometimes gets criticism better I don't think
is deserved because he's managing a team that should win.
He's managing a team that's that's predicted to win, and
that's not easy to do. And I think what he
did in the postseason was just phenomenal. But this this
great god your organization has another World championship, and I
(15:16):
know I couldn't be prouder and could be prouder of
the of the fans and how they handled it all
through the year and did it with class and style,
and especially in a tumultuous offseason last year and then
everything coming together and of course the postseason this year,
so you know, there's nothing but a bright future. There'll
be there'll be some differences in the team, but look
(15:38):
what the team's doing already.
Speaker 7 (15:39):
To show up the pitching staff, Garb.
Speaker 5 (15:42):
We think a great Dodger moments in the World Series
postseason moments you go to eighty eight and give me
his home run, that grand slam from Freddie Freeman. I
don't think, I don't think we ever dreamt we see
a moment again like that in Dodger history. And then
Freddie Freeman goes and hits that grand slam in the
tenth thingy to walk off the Yankee.
Speaker 4 (16:00):
What a moment that was.
Speaker 7 (16:02):
There really was.
Speaker 8 (16:03):
And I got a chance to meet him when he
first came to the Dodgers, and I'd watched him over
the years, and you know.
Speaker 7 (16:09):
I watched guys not so much.
Speaker 8 (16:12):
The numbers, but how they play the game and what
they do in key situations and when they give themselves up,
and how they're complete players. And if you look at
what Freddie's done both at Batten in the field, I mean,
I don't know of maybe one or two other players
in baseball, they're that completed player. Plus the understanding of
giving backs to the game and the history of the Dodgers,
(16:34):
you know, and he came from the Braves, and if
there had been better negotiations he probably would have saved
there his whole career, but there were there wasn't And
to our benefit and to what he did this postseason,
it was one of those you know, it was a
Hollywood script in the shadows of Hollywood at Dodgers Stadium.
And to see that the rand slam, I mean, it
(16:55):
just it brought a tier to my eye because it
was the person as much as the player.
Speaker 3 (17:00):
The great Steve Garvey. His career brings tears to the
eyes of Dodger fans because of the great memories. And
we love Steve Garvey. We are the sons of Garvey.
Here on the Petterson Money Show on AM five seventy
l A Sports. He joins us on your Southern California
Toyota Dealer Celebrity Hotline, and it's always great to talk
to Steve. Now you understand the macro side of things, Garb.
(17:23):
You know, who owns the Dodgers different from the O'Malley family.
They got seems like unlimited funds, and they seem to
be a couple steps ahead of everybody, whether it's linking
into the Japanese market the way they have, or the
deferrals with contracts and shoe Aotani, the people coming up
(17:43):
in bus loads tourists buying three hundred dollars jerseys every day.
How impressed are you with that? And Bobby, what jumps
out to you about just how far ahead the Dodgers
seemed to be as far as they're thinking.
Speaker 8 (17:55):
Goes, well, it's a coacher that keeps keeps looking around
the corner, so to speakuse great leaders and great CEOs.
They're able to look around the corner and see where
their business is going, what they need in terms of
of their troops and leadership. And I think that's what
h That's what the Dodgers doing, the leadership of Mark
(18:16):
Walter and Gubenheim. Obviously, then he goes to the front office.
Their ability to judge talent, uh And I looked at,
you know, throughout this year, I couldn't believe the number
of players that ended up on the roster, that put
on Dodger uniforms and played in the major leagues. But
that tells you how they're constantly looking at ways to
(18:38):
protect themselves in case of injuries or what may happen.
So it's a complete organization, you know, template to how
you can win consistently. And I remember talking to Peter O'Malley,
who I admire so much, and I'd asked the one time,
I said, you know, as a CEO and family, uh,
you know, patriarch. After a while, the guy, what do
(19:01):
you do? He said, Steve, we just try to give
the best product we can to the fans who expect
that from us, and no matter what happens, we do
everything we possibly can to get to get through September
and October in a position to go to the postseason.
Speaker 7 (19:15):
And win a world championship.
Speaker 8 (19:18):
And I think that something that always rang true with
me is to be consistent, but always remember what the
mission is all about, and the purpose is to entertain
the fans, make them inclusive wherever it is in this country,
whatever franchise. And I've said this, we're in the merry business.
And if we can go out and great memories that
are for a lifetime, and by the way, that's the
(19:39):
single greatest currency we have. You can't sell it, you
can't trade it. It's truly personal. Then that's what owning
a franchise and putting a team together is all about.
Speaker 7 (19:49):
But you talked about to for all of money.
Speaker 8 (19:51):
I know one thing in ten years, Joey o'tani will
not be a California resident at that point.
Speaker 7 (20:00):
But uh.
Speaker 8 (20:04):
Oh, I don't know. Yeah, I don't know what I'm
talking about today. But no, but now you just now
you have to reset and you start really three days
after the World Championship. You decompress a little bit and
then you say, wait a minute, it's only a couple
of months until you know, you hit the ground running
(20:25):
in spring training. And this year it's going to be interesting.
You know, they're going to Japan first two games, they're
going to be in cubs there. It's a lot of travel,
it breaks up spring training. It's tough to tough to
get off to a good start and settle down. But
this is a veteran team and I think it's sprinkled
with you know, a solid mature leadership group and then
(20:47):
guys and then mid mid term of their career and
then young guys like Kevin Lux who's coming back and
from injury. So they've got a little bit of everything,
but the most support thing is is internal leadership, you know,
and I I played for three Hall of Fame managers,
Walter also Timmy Lessorida, Dick Williams in San Diego, all
different styles of leadership management. But the one thing they
(21:10):
did was they made sure their team was prepared to
win every night and the best, the best nine guys
took the field and the rest of the guys were
ready to step in and do what was needed at them.
So leadership is at the end of the day, and
it was an important thing.
Speaker 4 (21:24):
Steve Garvey is with us.
Speaker 5 (21:25):
You jumped into the political waters this past year, Steve,
and now you're a man amongst the people. On Saturday
at Dodger Stadium from ten am to two pm, you're
going to be out there help him take care of
the dogs.
Speaker 8 (21:37):
Absolutely, And we just got the final vote from the
pets around California and I won that election.
Speaker 7 (21:43):
But anyway, it's.
Speaker 8 (21:45):
One of those one of those days where you know,
the people of Los Angeles get a chance to come
out to the Cathedral Baseball and we have one hundred
dogs donated by the Ali County shelter and Lucy Petfoots,
which is a phenomenal country one of them it's involved
with for many years now. And Tabo bet products will
(22:06):
be there in Hollywood groomy. So when you adopt a pet,
you get a chance to get from Tabo a car
seat crate, get your dog groomed, get a big bag
of Lucy pet food. But you get a chance to
save an animal. And you know, as somebody said the
other day, how relative that is baseball. So there are
a lot of great saves at Dodger State of this year,
(22:28):
but none of them saved the life. And I think
that's what you're going to see on Saturday is one
hundred animals with a chance to go home to a
family that will love then and it'll be the great
save and it'll be a great gift of the holidays.
Speaker 3 (22:40):
Garb, are you done running for office? Are you going
to come back with another overhand right to the California
political structure?
Speaker 7 (22:49):
Well, let me say this.
Speaker 8 (22:50):
You know, I the journey I had the last fifteen
months was something that you know, well, I will always
think with me because of the opportunity to go throughout
our state and you know, because of my visibility around
the country, especially our state, and to have people say Steve,
thanks for running, bless you.
Speaker 7 (23:09):
We know it's extremely difficult because it's been at.
Speaker 8 (23:12):
One party state, so we know who you are, We
know you care about all the people. And I said that,
I said, I'm not running. My wife ken'd has put
it succinctly. She said, when you used to take the field,
you didn't take the field for Democrats or Republicans or independents.
You took the field for all the fans. And now
you're running for all the people. And I think that's
that's at the end of the day, and at the
(23:32):
end of this campaign is something will always take with us.
And you know, my philosophy is simple, common sense and
compassion and consensus building and we need that going forward.
And of course you guys have been great listening to
me and my philosophy sometimes, but it's all about the
people every day of our lives, and you guys do
and you're like family.
Speaker 4 (23:52):
Love you, Steve.
Speaker 5 (23:53):
Steve Garvey, everybody see it's Saturday, ten am to two
pm at Dodgers Stadium as a Dodgers team up the
La County Animal Care Centers to find him forever homes
for all the dogs out there, GARV. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas,
Happy New Year to you and your family, and to
you guys.
Speaker 8 (24:11):
Thanks so much, God bless and everybody listening. Come on
out on Saturday. It's gonna be a great experience.
Speaker 4 (24:17):
Will be great as well. Thanks Garf. We love your Garb.
Thank you, love you. There we go, Steve Garvey.
Speaker 3 (24:23):
Ladies and gentlemen, Dodger great, the sons of Garvy.
Speaker 4 (24:27):
I like how he embraced that. Why wouldn't he? Hell,
you know what, I don't know, you know.
Speaker 3 (24:35):
About what.
Speaker 4 (24:38):
I mean. Look, we're all human, we all make mistake.
We're all sons of Garb.
Speaker 3 (24:41):
You know, you know what it was like in the
eighties and San Diego.
Speaker 4 (24:44):
You know what it's like Backdad, you know it's like you.
Speaker 3 (24:46):
Know, it's like in the eighties here when it was
the Safari Bar West Covina. Come on, come on, come on,
take a nice height out of here. Eastland Drive was
on fire, didn't East Slim used to be an indoor ball.
Speaker 4 (25:03):
What happened Covina, That's what happened. It's not even America anymore.
Speaker 3 (25:11):
Bunch your outdoor balls.
Speaker 4 (25:12):
What is this.
Speaker 3 (25:15):
We'll be back with mar great sports talk, some reaction,
quick answer, the final arm fun fact coming.
Speaker 2 (25:22):
Up there, Vietnam Christmas on PMS.
Speaker 3 (25:47):
Nice puddle, everybody, what's cracking around them? Back? It is
the one and only petrov San Money Show, Lime run
Off Baranca in the Eastland Center in beautiful West Covina, California.
(26:11):
Surrounded by the evil traitors Covina, California. But we're safe
here in West Covina. A big thank you to the
polarizing Steve Garvey, Yeah, Garb, And a big thank you
to James Worthy who joined us in the first hour.
Tim Taits is our co host today, Matt Muddy Smith
(26:33):
Collin Chargers versus Broncos on ninety eight seven to night.
Kickoff is around five o'clock.
Speaker 4 (26:42):
Now you mentioned Oregon.
Speaker 5 (26:43):
How about two Oregon quarterbacks going at it tonight, Justin Herbert.
Speaker 4 (26:47):
And bow Nicks.
Speaker 3 (26:48):
How about that? How about that only one of those
is a real Orgon cornerback born and raised in Eugene.
Bownicks is a fraud. He's a good player.
Speaker 4 (27:00):
He looks like.
Speaker 3 (27:00):
Ivan Drago, but I'm not calling him an Oregon quarterback.
For God's sakes. The guy was developed in Auburn. Please,
I do want to say this, but that was a
great point, Tim, and thank you very much.
Speaker 4 (27:12):
You're welcome.
Speaker 3 (27:14):
Tim still butt hurt because I stole his juecode Member
of the Day.
Speaker 4 (27:18):
Oh I just I mean you jumped right in.
Speaker 5 (27:20):
I was about to start it, you like just jumped
right in and went with it.
Speaker 3 (27:23):
I want to give another shout out to Daisy and
Huan from West Covina. Bhuan, you know, like it always
trips me out because I expect our listeners to be
really weird looking no offense.
Speaker 4 (27:38):
Some of you guys pretty weird, but it takes P.
What give? What takes P?
Speaker 3 (27:44):
But when somebody comes up and it's like a normal
family and they look like normal, I'm like, God, what's
wrong with these people? Like says something wrong with the man?
Speaker 1 (27:53):
You know?
Speaker 4 (27:53):
Is he into comic books? What's the deal?
Speaker 8 (27:56):
You know?
Speaker 3 (27:56):
But a beautiful family, Thank you so much. The other
thing is our listener Nathan from who sells chairs. Yeah, now,
this is really bad and I do not recommend doing this.
Speaker 4 (28:08):
Boy.
Speaker 3 (28:08):
In fact, when people used to do this at my
dad's restaurant, they would bring like food for their kids.
Speaker 4 (28:14):
I would charge them like wine. Corkage for the food,
as they should.
Speaker 3 (28:19):
Yeah, but we take some liberties here. We talked about
the Taco Bell chicken nuggets, the new Taco Bell chicken
nuggets with three sauces, and one of our listeners, Nathan,
brought in the nuggets for a taste test. Oo. And
it's interesting. I had one, and you know what they
(28:40):
taste like?
Speaker 4 (28:41):
Chicken nuggets? Yes?
Speaker 3 (28:43):
Wow, it tastes a lot like I went into my
refrigerator and put them into my air fryer, which I
stole from a neighbor who bought another air fryer.
Speaker 4 (28:54):
I'm not smart enough to go buy my own air fryer.
Speaker 3 (28:56):
Copy that, and it tastes a lot like that, almost
exactly like that.
Speaker 4 (29:02):
Are they dinosaur shape or they just regular? Show?
Speaker 3 (29:04):
They shape like balls?
Speaker 4 (29:07):
Excuse me?
Speaker 3 (29:08):
Like ball?
Speaker 4 (29:14):
Can you holding them up? Week? These are there? There?
They are? So they're chicken balls.
Speaker 3 (29:18):
They're chicken balls, although roosters are the ones with a ball.
Speaker 4 (29:29):
Did you try anyto three dipping sauce?
Speaker 6 (29:30):
No?
Speaker 3 (29:30):
No, I just try a nugget just so I could
get the pure taste.
Speaker 4 (29:33):
Of the nugget. Get a ball in your mouth, yep, chicken.
Speaker 3 (29:40):
That's funny. That's low brown.
Speaker 5 (29:41):
No, but you're supposed to try with one of the
three sauces that they're just raving about.
Speaker 3 (29:44):
Would you like me to do that right now? You
can try one of the three sauce. And I get
offended when the epe there's eating on the air, like
I'm already such a mouth breather and I have a lisp.
It's already kind of gross to listen to me talk.
I appreciate that about you know what you guys have
to go through. Uh So I have an aversion to
eating all the air, but I'll do it for you. Kate,
all right, I appreciate that you're I've gotta and I've
(30:06):
already eaten at BJ's here with the greatest restaurant in
brew house in the history of the world.
Speaker 4 (30:10):
We got the happy hour specials going on right now.
Speaker 3 (30:13):
Popping off, you get the seven dollars deep dish pizza,
five dollars hand crafted beers, zookie dessert world famous.
Speaker 4 (30:22):
I had a flat over one hundred menu items here
at the BJ's restaurant in Brudo delicious beers as well.
Speaker 3 (30:30):
This is the Halapano honey mustard.
Speaker 5 (30:40):
Your face is saying a lot about this petrol, so
I know it's radio. It's a look on your face.
It's better than the McRib.
Speaker 3 (30:50):
The McRib is the worst thing that ever happened to
me because for years I've never had a McRib and
when McRib came back, for years, I've would throw a
celebration on the radio and I'd sing the song. I'd
do it like Eminem, Guess who's back, Guess who's back,
Guess Who's back. I did a whole thing because it
was something to celebrate. And then somebody, finally, my radio
(31:13):
partner Matt, brought me a McRib and I ate it
and it was so disgusting that we never discussed it again.
So uh, except for just right there, so this was
less disappointing. I would always always recommend if you see
a taco bell and there's a BJ's restaurant in brew
House across the street, shirk the wheel. DJ's set to
(31:33):
the BJ's restaurant in brew House, DJ's all day camaraderie.
In fact, I can't believe a listener would bring this
crap to a place like this. Get that out of it.
I would never eat this as disgusting. I would never
eat something like this in a place like this, and
what's next? Are you gonna bring a flank steak over
(31:54):
to Ruth?
Speaker 4 (31:55):
Chris?
Speaker 3 (31:57):
This is an abomination.
Speaker 4 (31:59):
If I could that on your grill. Please take this
away from me. I'm disgusting. Get that.
Speaker 3 (32:06):
We'll be right back and we'll finish the show. Quickts
with you? Quick ats dead Ali? Oh wait till you
hear my dead guy. Wait till you hear this dead guy.
Did you guys know that Juco years don't count anymore?
Juco years? You could go to Juco, get like five STDs,
get into a four year clean no STDs.
Speaker 4 (32:29):
Juco years don't count. Where'd you hear that? You try
to hear on the numbers.
Speaker 3 (32:35):
Guy, I guess I heard it at the number of
the day. You could go to Juco, have three baby
moms whoa, and then get into four year and not
have to pay any town support. That's how I interpret
this rule.
Speaker 4 (32:54):
I read it the same way. Did you see, guys,
you've seen how bad Travis her girlfriend is. She's bad.
Speaker 3 (33:02):
No, no, no, she's not in a good way like
the guys say, like, oh she bad. No, she's like
a bad lady. No, she cleared it all up, she
went on and posted a video. She cleared it all.
She's not gonna make it to the draft. What comes first,
her at the draft or her on only fans? Come on?
Speaker 4 (33:24):
What was it that chicken ball? Christmas?
Speaker 3 (33:26):
I got a chicken ball for everybody. About get these
away from me. They's discussing. I would never eat in
a place like this, could you? Oh, we'll be back
with Mary Petrow somebody on AMPI seventy las
