and ten mil with Blake Snell. They chose not to
make a run at Corbyn Burns, Max Freed or Jack Flerty,
our old friend Flarity. I suppose I could understand a
little bit because, yeah, noodle Legs solely the he's got
a drinking problem. Guys, hey you saw him at the parade.

But you look at the other two. Corbyn Burns absolute workhorse,
top ten CY Young vote getter in each of his
four seasons going into free agency this offseason, including winning
the Cy Young Back in twenty twenty one through one
hundred and ninety four innings last year, one hundred and
ninety three the year before, two hundred the year before that. Yeah,

you got a seven year deal thirty mil per. That's
three million per season more than Blake Snell. But again
two hundred, two hundred, two hundred, top five Cy Young
Vote getter in each of the last four seasons. Point
being when you hand him the ball, he's able to

take it and go make a start. Max Freed one
hundred and seventy four innings last year, was down with
an injury in twenty three, two years prior to that,
one eighty five second place in the cy Young one
hundred and seventy before that, what did he get? Basically
the same deal Snell got, but a five year instead
of a four one forty over five, one ten over

four for Snell. And then you look at Snell when
he's healthy, great one hundred and eighty innings, two cy
Young Awards, but outside of those two years, oh No.
One and four and last year one hundred and twenty eight,
one hundred twenty eight fifty innings when he was injured
in twenty twenty. But twenty twenty was a weird year.

Oh yeah, you know what, that's right, That's right. That
was June the third, So no, never mind that that
was the good call COVID year. But in a ten
year career, you're looking at a lot more seasons where
he's missed time and about seven to ten starts than
pitching like a front line Ace, But as Dave told
us yesterday, the Dodgers don't care. I mean, it's crazy

but that's just their deal. What's your deal? That's their deal.
Can we figure out a way to have you ready
to pitch like a third of the season and in
October and it's so, we'll figure it out. Manage the
regular season with a bunch of bullpen games in the

this money. But they just, I guess, don't care and
you can't go I don't care.

an afterthought right and ended up being the World Series hero.

But you look at the other two. Corbyn Burns absolute workhorse,
top ten CY Young vote getter in each of his
four seasons going into free agency this offseason, including winning
the Cy Young Back in twenty twenty one through one
hundred and ninety four innings last year, one hundred and
ninety three the year before, two hundred the year before that. Yeah,

you got a seven year deal thirty mil per. That's
three million per season more than Blake Snell. But again
two hundred, two hundred, two hundred, top five Cy Young
Vote getter in each of the last four seasons. Point
being when you hand him the ball, he's able to

take it and go make a start. Max Freed one
hundred and seventy four innings last year, was down with
an injury in twenty three, two years prior to that,
one eighty five second place in the cy Young one
hundred and seventy before that, what did he get? Basically
the same deal Snell got, but a five year instead
of a four one forty over five, one ten over

four for Snell. And then you look at Snell when
he's healthy, great one hundred and eighty innings, two cy
Young Awards, but outside of those two years, oh No.
One and four and last year one hundred and twenty eight,
one hundred twenty eight fifty innings when he was injured
in twenty twenty. But twenty twenty was a weird year.

Oh yeah, you know what, that's right, That's right. That
was June the third, So no, never mind that that
was the good call COVID year. But in a ten
year career, you're looking at a lot more seasons where
he's missed time and about seven to ten starts than
pitching like a front line Ace, But as Dave told
us yesterday, the Dodgers don't care. I mean, it's crazy

and it's a little weird and it's hard to understand,
but that's just their deal. What's your deal? That's their deal.
Can we figure out a way to have you ready
to pitch like a third of the season and in
October and it's so, we'll figure it out. Manage the
regular season with a bunch of bullpen games in the
Oklahoma City Express, punch our ticket to the tournament, and

then you're ready to go.

That works out. I mean, it worked out last year,

not safe to live on the edge like that, as

any team if he were healthy, would take him to
make a postseason start. He's got a winning record and

this money. But they just, I guess, don't care and
you can't go I don't care.

an afterthought right and ended up being the World Series hero.

equivalent of Roki Sasaki coming out and becoming a postseason
