Speaker 2 (02:44):
What are several Olympic athletes, former NFL players, and many
of the best college and high school coaches across the
nation have in common? They are graduates and current students
in Concordia University of or binds Masters in Coaching and
Athletics Administration program. Find out more at CUI dot edu
slash coaching. They bring you your final hour fun fact.
I believe we've discussed this before, but let's do it
again because my man, I wouldn't mind you start and play.

(03:06):
You know, Coast is already playing the Christmas music gus
and there's a reason why it's a number one station
in LA by like seven eight points, so you might
want to start thinking about it before he became John
bon Jovi and remembering the way those bon Jovi tickets.
Aspiring musician John bon Jovi one word the o n

(03:29):
gio v I made his recorded debut singing on the
rush to market because of the incredible unforeseen popularity of
the film Star Wars Star Wars Christmas album. Oh Wow,

(03:50):
this is John Beyond bon Jovi singing R two D
two we Wish you a Merry Christmas.

Speaker 3 (03:58):
Wow. I did not I did not know that this exists. Right,
what year was this.

Speaker 2 (04:08):
Seventy seven?

Speaker 6 (04:09):
I think wow, seventy nine?

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Christmas recorded seventy nine, released in eighty So there you
go by RSL.

Speaker 3 (04:30):
Records, I mean, and right around the same time as
Okay Blue Jays. He just has the same time. Yeah,
Brewers fever.

Speaker 2 (04:40):
Listen to John's bond.

Speaker 6 (04:43):
Easy We're Dancing and play from Christmas.

Speaker 3 (04:49):
And that's not bon Jovi from the iHeartRadio Theater event.
That's a different bon Jovie.

Speaker 2 (04:56):
No, it's the same guy, but it was before he
separated his name to be bo n State.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
It reallybi, it really is bon Jovi.

Speaker 2 (05:05):
Yeah, no, it really is an eighteen year old John
Francis bon Jovi. That was his debut. I gotta say
Christmas in the stars A star Wars Christmas album.

Speaker 3 (05:21):
That is a pretty impactful, fun fact, maybe the most
impactful of all time. Oh, come on, I mean it
could possibly be. It's time for quick gets. Everybody look
to MS quick hits.

Speaker 2 (05:33):
Make it quick, y'all.

Speaker 3 (05:38):
Yeah, Tonight we have Dodger Talk on five seventy LA
Sports David Masse wrapping up the twenty twenty five season.
You will hear from that. Game seven of the twenty
twenty five World Series average fifty one million viewers combined
across the United States and Canada and Japan, making it
the most watched MLB game in thirty four years since

(06:03):
Game seven of the nineteen ninety one wooh World Series
back before you know Hulu and Amazon.

Speaker 2 (06:13):
When you know when ratings were diluted because you had
seven thousand different decisions to make when you turn on
your TV. So to pull that kind of number in
an era like you said, of Hulu and Netflix and
Amazon Prime and all, that is quite incredible. And I'm
sure even though we're not supposed to do, I believe
it is sort of like a frowned upon and perhaps

(06:34):
even illegal to discuss ratings. I would assume it would
be a ratings boon for us as well. Once we
get those numbers of the World Series, which is why
we're going to play it again at three o'clock on Friday,
that game seven right here on your home of the
World Series champion back to back seasons, Los Angeles Dodgers.

Speaker 3 (06:49):
Whose idea was that he produced a lot of shows.
I'll see if faceball time.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Produced a lot of shows off the circumstance presents opportunities.
Ten Kate's taking advantages of opportunities due to a tough
set of circumstances. And we appreciate that ten.

Speaker 3 (07:05):
Number twenty USC six and two, four and one in
the Big Ten. We just did the College Football Whip
last hour. They are home Friday night versus Northwestern. The
Trojans are fourteen and a half point favorites. Lincoln Riley
not pleased with the schedule. As we discussed, you're taking
the points, I am. I'm also taking UCLA three and five,

(07:28):
three and two into Big Ten. They host Nebraska this Saturday.
They were off last week. No Dylan Rayola for the Huskers.
He broke his leg, and that Latif guy from OLU
was not good at home against USC. Down to stretch,
we'll see how he is starting in the Rose Bowl
as a hometown guy. The Bruins two and a half

(07:50):
point favorites, and I'm taking him Matt.

Speaker 2 (07:52):
Weird for Riola. Patrick Mahomes never broke his leg, so
this is unchartered territory. He doesn't know what to do.
What do I do? Patrick Mahomes has never been on
the sideline in you know, uh, sweatpants and a cast.

Speaker 3 (08:09):
Yeah, how you?

Speaker 2 (08:10):
I believe.

Speaker 3 (08:12):
Off the field, the first college football Playoff rankings came
out last night. Ohio State is number one, Indiana number two,
A and M number three, Alabama four, Georgia's five, Ole
miss BYU Texas Tech. Oregon got screwed a little bit
because of Penn State. We talked about that. Notre name.
Texas and Oklahoma round out the top twelve teams.

Speaker 2 (08:36):
And I believe Memphis is your group of five team
that they put in there right now right.

Speaker 3 (08:40):
They're the one right now, right now. But you never
know what's going to happen, as we still have a
whole November to play. Clemson head coach Dabo Sweeney not
happy with officiating, and he makes a good point here
after Clemson got called for a defensive PI last Saturday,
which led to Duke extending their game winning drive. Sweetey says,

(09:00):
something's got to change with officiating at college football.

Speaker 5 (09:03):
How dare we have accountability in the meantime We got
gambling issues going on, people being suspended, all that kind
of stuff, right yep. I mean refs are people too.
It ain't just coaches and players. And if they're a
part of the game, then by god, they ought to
be a part of the game, and they ought to
be a part of the accountability, and they ought to
be a part of the consequences, not just behind some

(09:26):
shadowy curtain like now.

Speaker 3 (09:28):
They ought to have to answer for it.

Speaker 5 (09:31):
And listen, there's judgment calls and all that, and I
mean we just have to disagree to disagree, but there's
also absolute flat out misses with no consequences. System needs
to change, It needs to be changed. There needs to
be challenge opportunity, and we need full time officials.

Speaker 3 (09:49):
If you're going to have this type of stakes. He
eds to be full time officials.

Speaker 2 (09:53):
He did. The NBAP talked about the Lakers a little
bit earlier, as they are the polar opposite of the
Clipper scrapping by with a depleted roster. They have won
four in a row. Back at it tonight, but good news,
Luka Doncic back expected to play and that is arguably
two of the biggest stars in the league. It's Wemby
and the Spurs six and one, Luca and the Lakers

(10:15):
six and two. Austin Reeves still out with that growing injury.
Probably game time decision, but very likely that he sits
this one out and last. It was yesterday, Cage that
you asked us how many Dodgers were going to be
at the Clippers home game last night, and we said
no much.

Speaker 3 (10:33):
Not much.

Speaker 2 (10:34):
Image tonight though, at the Laker game with Victor Wembin
Yama in town and Luka Doncic back on the court.
Word is Mookie Betts, Will Smith, Tyler Glass now taoscar
Hernandez Blake Snell who was it dancing with the Stars
last night. I think Will Smith was there too, and
Evan Phillips all expected to be in attendance to watch

(10:56):
the Laker Spurs.

Speaker 3 (10:57):
That's crazy. Matt six going to the Lakers and nobody
goes to the beautiful Into It Nome.

Speaker 2 (11:04):
It's a damn shame, man, you know, And just imagine
if they were there, you would have had you know,
like you're going to see court side probably at the
Laker game tonight, Mookie, will Smith, Glass, Noow, Tao, Blake, Snell,
Evan Phillips, Mark watching the court without Kawhi, Leonard and
Bradley Beal, Like, here are your World Series champion Dodgers,

(11:25):
all playing through something to win a title and day
to day on the injury report as rest is your designation.

Speaker 3 (11:35):
Unfortunate, Matt, what's popping in the NFL?

Speaker 2 (11:38):
Well, we've we already gave away the tickets for Chargers v. Steelers,
but you can still win a pair on the A
five seventy LA sports Instagram page. That's a five to
fifteen kickoff. And the Rams got a big one divisional
game versus the forty nine Ers on Sunday. Seahawks on
top of the AFC West right now, but the Rams
certainly within striking distance at six and two. And I

(11:58):
know you are all about FBI investigations, and apparently the
NBA is not alone. The UFC, now, oh yeah, is
getting looked at for what working together with the FBI
into unusual betting activity ahead of a fight last weekend
in Las Vegas, and this was Dana White. Much like

(12:20):
the self report from an NCAA program to recruiting violation speed,
UFC CEO Dana White was alerted by a sports betting
watchdog group about an abnormal bet in a featherweight bout
between Isaac Dulgarian and Yadie Del Baya at UFC Fight
Night on Saturday. Dulgarian was a minus two fifty favorite,

(12:43):
that is a prohibitive favorite. He lost by first round submission.
Took a dive, That's what they're saying. There was an
inordinate amount of activity on an undercard featherweight bout on
Yadia del bay Ah, and they called in the FBI
to investigate to see whether or not there's some some

(13:04):
funny business going on.

Speaker 3 (13:06):
No funny business. That's unfortunate. Yeah, but at least Dana
White was right on top of it.

Speaker 2 (13:15):
Well, I guess it's probably better that he comes out
and gets it. Well, you know, like anything, right, you
get in front of it. I'm on it, I'm on it.
I'm sorry everybody.

Speaker 3 (13:22):
Silver didn't do that. I mean, we had a purp
walk with Johnsy billups.

Speaker 2 (13:26):
And wearing the clutch Sports sweatshirt like, hey, guys, very odd.
You want to I want to help me out here? Yeah,
help me out.

Speaker 3 (13:32):
Hey guys, it is.

Speaker 2 (13:35):
Like what I'm doing here, I'm wrapping your brand.

Speaker 3 (13:37):
You have me to tag it on Instagram. We'll be back.

Speaker 2 (13:43):
Be a shamed if somebody mentioned Clutch sports and sure
some of these closed doors right would be a damn shame.

Speaker 3 (13:49):
Let me just walk out here with his shirt on
this poop brown shirt. We shall return with the great
James Worthy on what will be here Special night tonight
Lakers versus Spurs. He's gonna join us with his great insight.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
Next, We've made it even easier to take LA Sports
with you this summer. Make AM five seventy or your
favorite AM five seventy LA Sports podcast a preset on
the iHeartRadio app using Apple CarPlay or Android.

Speaker 3 (14:24):
Auto road Trip all summer with LA Sports, Metro.

Speaker 2 (14:28):
Sand Money A five seventy LA Sports Live Everywhere on
the iHeartRadio app. Going to off season Hot Stove Dodger
Talk tonight at seven pm. We got a full three
to seven show. David Vasse will be a long previewing
General Managers meetings in Las Vegas in a couple of days.
But James Worthy has brought to you by the twenty
twenty six for f one to fifty from California's best
selling truck brand. It is time to see Ford in

(14:51):
a new light.

Speaker 3 (14:53):
And Matt joining us right now. Here's one of our
favorite people to talk to all the time, the great
James Worthy. And there's a lot to celebrate. The Lakers
are playing great basketball no matter who they got out there,
the emergence of young energetic players. James Worthy was a

(15:13):
young and energetic player, and he's a young and energetic broadcaster.
Emmy Award winning Spectrum Sports and at la A champion,
one of the best players ever in the history of
the NBA. It is our friend, James Worthy on Pettersen Money. James,
how are you? Thanks for doing it? Welcome to the show.

Speaker 4 (15:30):
Hey man, that's all good. You know, making my way
down to the studio for the big Wenby tonight. So yeah,
things are looking pretty good.

Speaker 3 (15:42):
People excited to see Wemby versus the Lakers. Luca is back.
Are you surprised that the Lakers start and considering who's
in and who's out the way that they've been able
to play and come behind what jj Reddick is doing.

Speaker 4 (15:58):
With players out and not everybody together. Yet I did
not expect, you know, the record to be as clean
and for them to perform without main ingredients. I mean
you're talking about you know, sugar and a cake and butter.
You can't make without. And so I thought, you know,

(16:20):
they might not win some of those, you know, a
couple of games. But what I what I did expect
and what I picked up in the last year. And
you know with JJ Reddick is he's really good at,
you know, instilling positivity and teamwork and defense. I noticed
on a time out when someone missed an assignment he

(16:42):
was irate, you know, like what he Hayes or somebody
or one of those old coaches from the past. And
I think players respect that. And he's gotten these guys
to buy into defense on the defensive end, because that's
the only way they've been able to win. I mean,
they have some great performances from Smith and Ruie in
their last contest and and you know, of course eight

(17:04):
and going back home. So the record, I thought, maybe
they have lost a couple more, but the effort and
the synergy and you know, the guys having that cohesiveist
I did expect that.

Speaker 2 (17:20):
You mentioned eight and going back home, James, you know,
we talked to you a week ago about him. It
just feels like we're in a little bit of a
different place with eighton now. Sort of what have you seen?
Has there been a big shift? Was it just maybe
a little extra motivation against Portland and the matchup, or
is he starting to look like the player that they
had hoped they were gonna get when they signed him
this offseason.

Speaker 4 (17:41):
Now I just remember, you know, my being twenty seven
years old, and other guys you know in the league,
maybe Clyde Drexler and you know, guys like that, Ralph
Sampson even you know, even though we had talent early on,
you started to hone your career around twenty seven twenty eight.
I think he's had enough ups and down. Great year
in Phoenix with with CP three of course, and then

(18:05):
moving on to Portland not so good. Now he's with
a franchise that even he's been watching his whole life,
when and when and when, and he's at a place
where he kind of has to prove himself. You know,
he's a big man. He's gonna you know, sustain that
reputation and I give him a lot of credit for
uh coming in with the right attitude. Uh, you know,

(18:28):
playing his game. He's got you know, very special talent
from you know, ten feet, He's he's blocking shots, he's
altering shots. He's set really good picks. Uh. That Austin
Reeves victory shot would have never happened at eight and
a handn't have ran up with full speed set that pick.
So I like what I'm seeing at him. And when

(18:49):
he gets on the floor with Luca and he's already
connected with Reeves on you know the pick and rolls's
I can only see it getting better. And so yeah,
I like what I see in Hayton's good attitude.

Speaker 2 (19:02):
Your former teammate Michael Jordan made some news and the
NBC debut with Mike Turrico when he talked about, you know,
his feelings about load management and it was not positive.
I'm sure you probably saw it or heard about it.
And last night, six games into the season, we saw
the Clippers list Kawhi Leonard and Bradley Beal as a

(19:26):
dnp rest because they had a back to back It
felt like we were maybe starting to get away from
that a little bit, especially with the greatest player ever
kind of weighing in on it and saying that's not
something you need to do. Just kind of your thoughts
on if you did feel that way that it was
like teams and players were maybe doing the load management
thing less, or if it's just gonna be the way

(19:47):
it is, you know, and continues to be moving forward.

Speaker 4 (19:51):
Well, see, this is the problem with load management. Okay.
So I'm sure there's a father that probably thought this
early in the season that there's no way that there'd
be any kind of load management and November so you
probably got the tickets for his kids and now quiet
in it. It's not not going to play, and important

(20:13):
players and they're not gonna play. I just don't know
what the problem is with this load management thing. I
don't like it, and I know players like Kobe and
MJ and you know, I don't want to go all
the way back to my era, but it's it's your job,
you know. And unless you're in a wheelchair, cripple or something, man,

(20:36):
you got you gotta play. That's what people come to see.
So I don't like it. I know the Lakers set
out Reeves and Luca on their back to back you know,
it's got to be you know, it's got to be
a real injury or threat to your body. So I
just don't and I don't know what why they set out,
but they gotta do something about that load management, because

(20:57):
it's just easy to come in with a you know,
with a hangnail and say, hey, you know, I don't
want to my finger's hurting, I don't want to play.
It's too easy.

Speaker 3 (21:08):
It's a rough thing to watch, especially with the way
you describe it. Young people coming to the arena to
see somebody special. What if they stop scheduling back to backs?
I mean, would that be a solution.

Speaker 7 (21:20):
Well, I mean for me, I think no back to
backs just you know, anyway, I know people want to
see teams in preseason, but a couple of games in preseason,
no travel, you know, even if they're it's a squad games,
I don't know.

Speaker 4 (21:38):
And then you know short in the season, you know
it's about seventy five seventy two games, and then you know,
back to back games and then tell guys, hey, okay,
we you know, it's not like you're hopping on Eastern
airlines or twa. You got you know, you got the
best you got the best travel. So I just don't
get it. It's getting easier and easier for guys to

(22:04):
take load management. And I remember, you know, I can
go all the way back to you know, Willis Reed,
you know, hopping around. I didn't play much longer, but
you know Michael Jordan playing with the flu in Utah,
and you know, there's all you know, sometimes if you
can't play, you know, you can't play your knee ankle.
But you know, I played in a game in Chicago

(22:26):
in the first game, first few games, I knew my
ankle wasn't hundred percent. It was the playoffs. But I
just think, you know, I don't know's It's just not
something that I like to see.

Speaker 2 (22:39):
The kind of the big news making the way around
the NBA the last two days is this job and
look it happened against the Lakers, right. Just I'd love
to get your input here, James, on just what you
saw from John Morant, the way he was maybe standing
around or not engaged, or how he was playing basketball.
And look, I mean not saying you got to you

(22:59):
know who you need to ship out, but when we
saw what Luka Doncrich has done with with guys like
Kyrie Irving and Jalen Brunson. I know that. You know,
it's it's there's some serious off the court stuff that
you got to consider. But he's at John moransa hag
of a player. But I think if you could start
with kind of what you saw, because it seemed to
be that was the game that really got this whole
thing rolling.

Speaker 4 (23:21):
Yeah, when I was watching the game, you know, I was,
I was, you know, it was I was waiting for
you know, John to kind of like start to take over.
And and then the first thing I thought was like, Okay, okay,
you got to get other people involved. You know, he
didn't have Dylan the Baine or you know, he still
has Jackson, so maybe he was just trying to, you know,

(23:44):
get people to follow. But then as I started to
watch it, I immediately said we were watching the game
in the conference room. I immediately said, oh man, something's
going on here. This is funky. You know, That's the
first thing I said. And then as I continued to watch,
I said, he's he's mad about something. And so I

(24:05):
don't like when players do that. You know, regardless of
what the situation is, you never take it out on
your teammates or you never take it out on the game.
There's always a chance to go in the front office
or whatever or going to coach's office and express yourself,
but when you're on the floor, you never and then

(24:25):
you know, to make it worse. I think, you know,
without knowing what was going on, because I don't know.
Then they say, you know, just ask the coaches. You know,
if you're willing to have that type of attitude on
the court, you should be willing to be with her,
you know, talk to the press and say what's happening.

(24:47):
And his thing was, you know, go ask the coaching staff.

Speaker 3 (24:51):
So it's a.

Speaker 4 (24:52):
Team leader, you know what I mean. I just don't
like to see that and a guy that is supposed
to be the face of the team and he you know,
they may be going through some changes. I think that's
when you should be most positive.

Speaker 3 (25:07):
Unbelievable stuff from James Worthy before we let you go. James, Uh,
you've seen when Banyama this year you're about to go
do the show? What what? What if you's been seeing
from him? Is it the same thing that you expected
after seeing him last year?

Speaker 4 (25:25):
Uh? He's given He's given us more this year. I mean,
he's a seven five Steph Curry with Kobe Bryant agility.
I mean, I've never I mean, people tell me about
Wilt and how dominant and great Will was, but and

(25:46):
grill Will was a great passor you know, but I
can't even find the words to describe what we're witnessing
and this type of physical, you know, freaking nature. He's
like a huge giant praying mantis out there just getting busy.

(26:07):
And so he's definitely you know, there's a lot of
guys that have to face the NBA, but I think
this guy is it. He reminds me of Kareem Smart.
He reads all the time, He goes out and hangs
out with you know, spiritual people in the summertime, and
he's focused. So he's on a mission. And when you
when you're that discipline, it's like Austin Reeves a golfer,

(26:30):
you know, plus handicapped. When you have that type of discipline,
good things, you know, come about. So I you know,
I've never seen it. Ralph Sampson was seven four and
he dominated in college and and you know, playing in
the NBA and had some dominance there. He shot the
you know, shot the outside shot and put it on
the floor a little bit. But he's the closest thing

(26:53):
I could say, you know that we've seen and a
guy with that size an agility.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
Gonna be a fun one tonight, Luca Doncic back Wemby
out there at Spurs six and one, Lakers six and two.
James Worthy, our friend geet are gonna have all that
coverage from the studio. We certainly appreciated James Worthy brought
you about it twenty twenty six for f one fifty.
I heard the turn signals on it there as you
were turning into the lot from the California's best selling
truck brand. It is time to see Ford hit a

(27:24):
new life, all.

Speaker 3 (27:25):
Right, We love it. Always great to talk to James Worthy,

Speaker 2 (29:33):
Well as an unapologetic fan of graphic design, of industrial design, logos,
color schemes. Incredibly dorky, I know, but for whatever reason
they get stuck in my brain. I can still perfectly
picture the font of the word horrow on a freestyle bike,
the Oldsmobile arrow inside that rectangle, Kenner on the back

(29:56):
of a Star Wars action figure has rot on the
back of Gi Joe. So today we celebrate one of
the best, maybe the best, to have ever done it.
He would have been one hundred and thirty two today.
Raymond Lowie a stud ass kicking Frenchman born in Paris,
father a Jewish journalist of Austrian citizenship, his mother French,

(30:19):
and when he was fifteen the design thing was apparent,
as Lowe's design of a successful model aircraft not only
one the Gordon Bennett Cup for Model airplanes in nineteen
oh eight. Again he's fifteen. They ended up putting his
model into production and sold it commercially, was called the Irel.

(30:41):
So at seventeen, he graduates from the University of Paris.
While he was getting his advanced engineering degree, he stopped
his studies early to serve in the Great War. Four
years until nineteen eighteen, and he was in the s
He rose to the rank of captain, wounded in combat,

(31:01):
received the Quai de guerre, and after the war decided
f this place, I'm moving to New York. September nineteen nineteen.
He arrived in the Big town and found work as
a window designer for Macy's Guanamakers for Sacks Fifth Avenue,
while also working as a fashion illustrator for Vogue and

(31:21):
Harper's Bazaar, and that industry came calling. The logo for
Westinghouse he styled the cold Spot refrigerator, which I guess
back in that time was like the only refrigerator that
anybody bought from Sears Roebuck.

Speaker 3 (31:36):
It was huge.

Speaker 2 (31:37):
It became a calling card and it allowed him to
open a London office in the mid nineteen thirties. That
office continues to operate today. He designed what some say
is the most iconic locomotive of all time, the Jigi,
won for the Pennsylvania Railroad Company in nineteen thirty five.
It would stay in operation through the late nineteen eighties.

(31:58):
He did the logo for Studebaker. He designed what some
consider to be the most beautiful car ever built, the
nineteen fifty three Studebaker star Liner. He also designed the Aravante.
This is cool, the glorious livery that we can all
see in our mind's eye that still holds today. I
hope it continues to hold. There's a certain somebody that

(32:19):
doesn't like it for what reason, I don't know. But
he did air Force one for JFK's Boeing seven oh seven,
that beautiful blue color scheme that still goes today on
the seven forty seven. The famous Lake Crusade Dutch Oven.
He designed that and all of these logos p Exxon.

Speaker 3 (32:37):
So just he not only designed the logos, but he
also was a designer of things and cars and stuff
like that.

Speaker 2 (32:46):
Yeah, Like he designed that actual locomotive, the famous Dutch Oven,
that Lake Crosette or crusee whatever, how they pronounce it
the one they sell. He designed the Lincoln Continental. He
designed the shick electric razor like it's crazy. And then
all those logos Coca Cola, their vending machines, Greyhound BP
TWA champion that c logo was this guy, the Coast

(33:07):
Guards logo. Truly one of the great graphic designers industrial
design engineers of all time. He was married, had a daughter,
died at ninety two. He moved back to Montey Carlo
when he was eighty six. And I guess the school,
the Lowe School of Design in Atlanta, Georgia, is still
open and operating. And this is our guy, Raymond Lowie.

Speaker 3 (33:30):
Very interesting, right well, In an effort to avoid the
Ryan Adams Brian Adams wacky combo birthday, the fact that
they both have the same birthday is dumbfounding because I mean,
everybody gets those two guys confused. One American indie rock legend,

(33:50):
the other a Canadian pop rock legend. And they have
the same birthday, you know, twenty years apart. So in
an effort to avoid that, I mean, talk about a
rock and roll world series, Ryan Adams versus Brian Adams, Right.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
Well, I mean, you know, that debate will rage on
in perpetuity.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
You're right, we will go with high song Kim Dodger
unity and talk about our friend from Korea by talking
about somebody else from Korea. Kwan bowl Ah known as
Boa thirty nine years old, a hot Korean singer known

(34:33):
as none other than the Queen of K pop Matt,
the Queen of k pop, the queen of the title right,
because there's a lot of K pops, this is the
queen of K pop like the King of Pop Michael Jackson.
This is the Queen of K pop. Lots of covers, Matt.

(34:54):
Some of our most famous singers are covers people multiple
Korean and then Japanese albums and won English album. Raised
in suburban Soul as a child, she was eaten up
by one of those Korean production companies that made her

(35:16):
into a star. She trained for two years and then
they put her out, not with a girl group, solo.
That is how big time she was. Came out solo
and she flourished. She is the reason you become the
king or the queen of K pop is not because

(35:37):
you had a big crossover in America, although that is
a big deal. But she's credited with spearheading the Korean
wave into Japan, and a lot of these Korean bands
make separate Japanese albums just like her, and that is
what made her a huge deal. She is to date
a guy named ju Wan. Nobody knows if he's married now.

(36:01):
Juwan is an actor, but no one knows she might
be married now. No, not Juwanna Man, which I don't
think is a movie that could be made today. No,
I don't think you could either, which is a shame
White girls. Juwanna Man. It all just hits too close
to home now. But she's married, maybe to some engineer guy.

(36:26):
She's a little bit like Otawni and has like a
secret spouse perhaps even though a Tawi's spouse is no
longer secret now that they live out here with the
baby and all that and all that. Yeah, so would
you would you like some titles? Matt?

Speaker 2 (36:41):
Well, I mean, the Queen of K pop? I'm guessing
they aren't going to be that crazy, right, I mean,
if you're the queen, it's probably gonna be a little
bit more milk toasty, right Ah, yeah, yeah, you're right,
I'll take a stab at it. Well, yeah, I mean
what happens is I'm the one that I'm the one
that gets cheat.

Speaker 3 (36:57):
You're gonna have to wear it though, I'm the one
that wears it, all right, Atlantis Princess.

Speaker 2 (37:05):
Yeah, that's crickets.

Speaker 3 (37:06):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
I thought because you're a water and it says a
kingdom and you know yeah.

Speaker 3 (37:11):
I mean I thought, because you're a water man. You
know you might I got you no. One wings embracing
each other.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
One wings embracing each other. I'll give you a horn,
all right, I'll give you a horn.

Speaker 3 (37:30):
Eat you up.

Speaker 2 (37:32):
I'm gonna give you crickets, Eat you up. Yeah, I
mean that could be like a dual leap a song.
Eat you up, do a leap. I gotta be involved.
That's first thing that popped into my brain.

Speaker 3 (37:46):
Hypnotic dance floor.

Speaker 2 (37:48):
I'm gonna go crickets. Oh yeah, I mean that's like
an Oakenfold song, right, oaken Full really running the gamut
here bump bump, Wow, Okay, it's just giving you the
bump bump clearly. I mean, you know what's on his mind?

Speaker 3 (38:11):
Yeah, okay, even though he should be getting more rest
these days. I mean, do you want to would you
have given it? Would you have given it the horns.

Speaker 2 (38:24):
I think I would have for the cocaine side of it,
like in the hopes that it was an ode to coke.

Speaker 3 (38:31):
No more make me sick.

Speaker 2 (38:34):
That's horns. There is no you in front of make
me sick. Right, it's no more make me.

Speaker 3 (38:41):
No more make me sick.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Yeah, that's that's definitely horns.

Speaker 3 (38:44):
All right. These are like TV shows. Okay, marry my husband.

Speaker 2 (38:50):
Yeah, that's gonna be horns.

Speaker 3 (38:51):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (38:54):
I'm sure the husband will be fine with that too.

Speaker 3 (38:56):
I mean, who knows street woman Fighter, street woman Fighter?

Speaker 2 (39:02):
You really need to let's go horns. I was just
you know, is it Supergirl? Is it? You know what
I mean? Is it like she was intet a street
fighter street fighter, it becomes street fighter woman? And then
I think about what Supergirl.

Speaker 3 (39:14):
Was, Like I was in a street Woman Fighter. She
was also in street Man Fighter horn. Yeah.

Speaker 2 (39:23):
Is it like a woman of the night that's gonna
knock you.

Speaker 3 (39:25):
Out like a street woman, like a streetless person, or
like like.

Speaker 2 (39:28):
A hunker right, Like I think either is it a
is it a homeless person or a hooker that's gonna fight.
It's kind of what I'm hopeful that that film.

Speaker 3 (39:36):
Is Daniel Larusso's gonna fight.

Speaker 2 (39:39):
Daniel Larusso's gonna fights, Gonna do a bump.

Speaker 3 (39:43):
The Queen of Pop had a French love of design.
David Massey will be on next when a plosseason wrap up.
Dodger Talk Our Show will be back on Tomorrow and
two o'clock on a flexiler. Daniel made David mass Yeah,
