made a bunch of money. Nineteen forty eight he made
his own car, the Lotus. He named it after his
then girlfriend Hazel, whom he nicknamed his Lotus Blossom. The

Mark one modified Austin before they became Austin or Aston
Martin that won a big race and with all that
money he developed the Mark two from scratch. He was
a race car guy. He just wanted to build race
cars and race them and win races and dominate. So
there were a lot of a lot of advancements I

realized more power could be achieved with better flow, and
this is what we talk about all the time on
the Petros Money Show. He reversed port functions d Siamese

the Indy five one hundred and sixty five. It was
the first mint injin car to do that at the brickyard.
What happened in Lotus, Well, it's funny you ask. His

driver was killed in a crash and that kind of
cut a hole in him a little bit. Jim Clark,
who had dominated the racing world F one titles, fastest laps,
pole positions, eighty five hundred, first four and guy to
win it in forty nine years, he crashed his Lotus
forty eight. So that bummed out Chapman a lot and
he kind of disappeared for a while, and he mentored
a bunch of people. The guys that started Cosworth were

his guys. Cogsworth calls exactly right, but he what happened
to him p He got involved with Delriion, got involved
with the.
