Me farted him out. What you gotta look, hey, easy
with the look on your face, don't look. Why are
you skinning up your face? That's what happened out there.
Speaker 3 (02:59):
Adam always skins his y Yeah, okay, Look, you want
to talk about what happened at Granite Bay or someplace
in Sacramento.
Speaker 1 (03:06):
West Sacramento, the minor league baseball field.
Speaker 2 (03:09):
You want to tell me about Steve Sacks's old high
school that closed or something. Fine, that's up to you. Okay,

Still headed back from getting beaten at South Dakota during
the playoffs of the Division whatever College Football FCN. It
is a Modello meets a lot of Monday and we
love Modello and we love them as our sponsor. So
Migo that greatest time for the word of the day,
his words. The word of the day. Today's word of
(04:05):
the day is Rochacha. Let's head out to Rochester, New York. Yeah,
well Rochester also the name of Jack Benny's guy his
his his, well, no, well Rochester. Well, the train readings
were done by mel Blank Rochester, I think was Eddie Anderson,
(04:26):
and he played Jack Benny's like, uh, like butler, like
the guy that is his man, the guy that well,
you know that, not that Rochester, although there is a
Rochester street out there in Rancho Kook in honor of Rochester,
Jack Benny, Rochester, New York, a place, Matt as you know,
Rochatcha that you and I have enjoyed some modest success
(04:48):
in that market. But a guy in Rochester just walking
around saw a mountain lion, and I guess that's really
rare in Rochester. Yeah, in rochat Cha. That's like the
Burdbank bear that that Kate saw, b one per Bank
bear and not weird to see a mountain lion out here,
like Pete twenty two and Griffith Park. And we're still
(05:11):
stinging from that loss, the death of that cat.
Speaker 1 (05:13):
I think about it every day.
Speaker 3 (05:15):
Well, the area is just not the same after the
cat died, but now very exciting.
Speaker 2 (05:21):
ABC News local ratscha cha report. And this guy, uh,
this is not the same as the Memphis Leprechaun because
this guy there is video evidence that it looks to
be that there was a mountain lion walking around.
Speaker 3 (05:35):
You sell them people point at that tree in Memoie, Now,
I just do you want to I saw len Are.
Speaker 2 (05:38):
We gonna split hairs because there's actually there's let's just
say this is a more likely sighting. Okay, this man
is not performing. I believe he truly is afraid. Heard
I heard Raul.
Speaker 4 (05:50):
I felt down, raur I knew to be keeping pushing.
Speaker 5 (05:52):
I know that.
Speaker 6 (05:53):
Curtis Jones says he was walking near Robbert Street late
Wednesday when he saw people running from what a here
to be a large wild cat.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
I thought, I see the people. I'll just see some
big just walking just right over here, right everybody.
Speaker 4 (06:07):
But it went right over here. I swear I promised
him right over there. He just it's just I just
cut walk. I've seen it, seen me see it. So
in my head, I'm like, no, I gotta go, man,
I'm out.
Speaker 6 (06:18):
Rochester police say officers became aware of a video on
social media that appears to show a wild cat, which
some people claim is a mountain lion. RPD says it
received numerous calls of reported sightings, including one year North
Clinton Avenue in Robert Street just after midnight about.
Speaker 3 (06:35):
Like this bit.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
It was it was it was, it was just walking
Slytherin like it was.
Speaker 2 (06:41):
I don't know, man.
Speaker 6 (06:42):
A shelter in place was ordered and then lifted when
RPD was unable to verify the presence of a wild animal.
No reports have been substantiated. Jones tells me he remains
on edge.
Speaker 4 (06:55):
You gotta keep this.
Speaker 5 (06:56):
Bad right here.
Speaker 4 (06:57):
I'm gonna keep this bad right here, man.
Speaker 2 (06:59):
Put just I ain't.
Speaker 4 (07:00):
Gonna they ain't find it last night.
Speaker 2 (07:03):
It's still out here.
Speaker 4 (07:04):
It could be all heard one of these bushes or something,
you know, the mountain li wow crawling serious.
Speaker 6 (07:12):
The Monroe County Sheriff's Office assisted the investigation by using
an aerial drone. Then the parkas told thirteen WAM all
of its animals are counted for lions.
Speaker 4 (07:22):
I don't play with tigers, bears, nothing with the wild,
none of us playing with your roller coasters.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Well, I'm good park.
Speaker 6 (07:33):
All of its animals are accounted for.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
I don't play with lions. I don't play with tigers, bears,
nothing with the wild. I don't play with those, I
promise you. I don't even do roller coasters.
Speaker 2 (07:44):
I'm good. He's good.
Speaker 1 (07:47):
Oh I thought you said or drug.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
No, No, he's good. I think drugs are probably good. No,
he's good. Good. Yeah, he's good. Wow, Wow, And I
felt the wow. I felt the rar yeah.
Speaker 1 (07:59):
Wow, crawling.
Speaker 2 (08:02):
Serious. So thank you, Curtis Jones of RAA Man on
the Street interview market, A market that Matt and I
have enjoyed some modest success in. I hope they find them.
Speaker 1 (08:14):
Mountainlin most definitely serious.
Speaker 7 (08:17):
Any y'all seen the leprecaun say yeah.
Speaker 2 (08:20):
You're right. A few people did say yeah, and that does.
Speaker 1 (08:22):
Substantiate and multiple people.
Speaker 2 (08:25):
Don't be afraid, do not be scared, do not be alarmed.
Speaker 1 (08:29):
And you saw that guy that had the flat jacket
on with all the.
Speaker 2 (08:33):
This is a flute, special leprechaun flute that my uncle
brought me from Ireland.
Speaker 6 (08:46):
Here's my number.
Speaker 2 (08:48):
Number of the day.
Speaker 1 (08:50):
Number of the day is one.
Speaker 3 (08:53):
You got another sub tweet or tweet tweet to talk
about it.
Speaker 2 (08:59):
Let's go.
Speaker 3 (08:59):
Let's go so again if you ever question whether or
not he's got the rabbit ears and it's constantly monitoring
the news and notes and opinions of the NBA. Lebron
James sometimes referred to as Jabron Lames and Johnny Brahms
(09:19):
and Johnny Brams his son. This morning time check nine
past nine am, Shams tweets out the breaking news that
Cleveland Cavalier's president Kobe Altman had signed a contract extension
(09:40):
through twenty nine and thirty and his assistants Mike Ganzy
and Brandon Weims also received extensions from the Caves. Instead
of just reaching out to his former Akron native and
high school teammate Brandon Wims, Lebron James opted to retweet
(10:05):
with an all caps yes sir, multiple exclamation points and
they congratulations to my brother be Weaves two exclamation points,
super proud of you man, letter you not yo you
with one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, high fives,
(10:29):
one praying hands and one heart. Now the high fives
and the hands praying do have a skin tone that
would be close to accurate for Lebron James. The heart
is not red, but instead is also of the same
(10:51):
color as the skin tone of the praying hands.
Speaker 1 (10:54):
Like a brown heart, Like a brown heart and a
high five. Next, So I don't know if it's like
a heart of color a little bit.
Speaker 3 (11:00):
So Saint Vincent, Saint Mary, what do we discern from Well,
I think the people that are defending gabron lames are saying, hey, man,
the guys went to high school together. They were teammates
on Saint Vincent Saint Mary together. This isn't just a
random exec that he befriended while he was with the Calves.
It's a teammate. The other people that are pushing back
(11:21):
are like, yeah, well, he could just call him and say, hey,
wait to go. When you make three exclamation points after
yes sir, two exclamation points after be weems, and not two,
not four, not six, but seven high fives, one prey
in hand, and a brown heart, maybe you're going a
(11:41):
little over the top when it comes to creating controversy
and sowing seeds of doubt as to whether or not
you are fully committed to the Lakers or in fact
pursuing a potential trade this offseason to one of the
three cities where he owns a multimillion dollar home Cleveland, Ohio. Interesting,
(12:03):
I wish they'd trade him, Yes, sir, I wish they
traded him.
Speaker 1 (12:06):
I echoed that sentiment. I second that, you know.
Speaker 2 (12:10):
It's interesting, Matt, because Lebron is so stupid. Seemingly he
does so many stupid things.
Speaker 1 (12:14):
Brilliant.
Speaker 2 (12:15):
Well, he might be a brilliant basketball player basketball, but
when you try to I mean, when you try to
trade Mark Taco Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (12:22):
That's stupid.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
You're an idiot. Yes, And you say, well, God, you know,
And we used to say this about Kobe when he'd
make some social faux pause. We'd say, well, you know,
God didn't go to college, right, you know. And it's
a lot of the thing that James Worthy always says, like, look,
I played for Dean Smith, Michael Jordan played for Dean Smith.
Speaker 1 (12:36):
Tell me how to be a man.
Speaker 2 (12:37):
We got our ass kick, you know this and that.
And the other thing occurred to me is that you know,
not only did Lebron James Gabron Lak not go to college,
but neither did Rich Paul or Maverick Carter. The douchebags
that are with him, I think they.
Speaker 1 (12:53):
All just about the whole crew with him, when it's
number one.
Speaker 2 (12:54):
Pay started for the bottom. Now we hear with no education,
not even the losing time education that you get when
you're the Angels, just something you know.
Speaker 3 (13:04):
Or maybe you know college like Chase. I think that's
something people. Yeah, when you go to Chaffer, at least
that's something something you know.
Speaker 2 (13:10):
I mean, I just think that's when you say, like, gosh,
you know, you wish Lebron had somebody with him that said, like, yeah,
we can't trademark Taco Tuesday.
Speaker 1 (13:18):
Yeah, that's stupid, don't even file I can't.
Speaker 2 (13:20):
Trademark you know, talking in a barber shop there was
a movie.
Speaker 3 (13:23):
Well no, but I came up with it. I came
up with with talking sports in a barbershop, right.
Speaker 1 (13:28):
Like, I don't my idea.
Speaker 2 (13:29):
There's nobody to say that because there's nobody that's like
going to bring their degree to the conversation.
Speaker 1 (13:36):
Not that you need that, but it'd be nice to
have one in your search.
Speaker 2 (13:39):
Maybe one, maybe there is, But yeah, they seemed like
like a big group of idiots.
Speaker 1 (13:43):
It could be like a University of Phoenix thing, you know.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
Yeah, well you know what, Phil Jackson called him a posse.
Speaker 1 (13:47):
That's not cool.
Speaker 2 (13:48):
Posse up.
Speaker 5 (13:51):
That's that's not cool.
Speaker 2 (13:54):
It's time. It's time for the song of the day.
This is the song of the day. Thank you, Katy,
and we'll be back with more great sports talk on
a fire great Sports Talk, LA Sports. We are your
home of the Dodger. But we will talk to Andy Wise,
the head coach of Corona High School Baseball, doing the
(14:14):
impossible with three first round picks.
Speaker 3 (14:18):
Net Petro Some Money A five seventy LA Sports Live
Everywhere on the iHeartRadio app Again, a big thank you.
It is the all star break yet our dear friend,
we love him and he loves us. Spend Casparius came
into the locker room last hour. Anything you miss you
can always relive through the petros in Money podcast. A
great hour spent with Ben. We'll give you some highlights
about an hour from now. And a big thank you
(14:39):
to our our sponsors, Modelo, Mark of a Fighter, and
of course our Friend's over at the doghouse for making
sure everybody had food in their belly for that hour
of conversation and pee the baseball talk does not stop,
and we go to the amateur ranks for this conversation.
Speaker 2 (14:53):
Well, we got the draft they've changed and they moved
the draft to a little bit more of a pal
time for yeah, people in the world of baseball, not
during the college World Series. Joining us right now is
a guy who has more success putting guys in the
MLB drafts first round than every college out there this year.
(15:16):
We're talking about Andy Wise, the head varsity coach of
the Corona High School Panthers baseball team. They are perhaps
the most talented high school baseball team of all time.
With all due respect to mcclemon's high period back in
the day, Coach Wise has got a great thing going
out in the Inland Empire. Not unlike our friend Matt
(15:38):
Logan in football, true at a rival high school, shaping
a public school into a place that people want to be,
in place they can shape their future. What a great guy,
what a great coach, joining us on your Southern California
Toyota neither celebrity hotline. What's cracking coach? Congratulations?
Speaker 5 (15:56):
Oh man, that was great. Now, thanks for having me.
It's just a good time to be a Panther for sure,
no doubt about it.
Speaker 2 (16:02):
I mean, a guy like you, You've seen this, You've
created this. But at the same I mean, it's not
like you guys were surprised that these three guys all
went in the first round, but seeing it come to Fruition,
what was that like with the with the guys and
their families and the whole team.
Speaker 5 (16:19):
Yeah, no, it was. It was a great experience. We were,
you know, with attention that we were all getting in
all kinds of forms, and people have even said it
from the outside, you guys were like rock stars this year,
and we kind of were. That was not the goal.
We didn't set out to do that. We really we
really just kept the course. Man, I know, it's corny
and cliched. We kind of went one pitch of the
time just to stay away from from all the outside noise.
(16:42):
I felt like the ringleader of a circus.
Speaker 1 (16:44):
Man.
Speaker 5 (16:44):
It was a it was a heavy you know, heavy scouting,
big time dudes coming around, all kinds of media, social media, fans, kids.
It was a blast and everybody wanted to beat us
and kill us, which is absolutely understandable because we're getting
so much recognized. But it was just a blast and
the kids were awesome. They stayed locked in. There was
(17:06):
no deviating from that in any form. You know, we
had a couple of hiccups as a team and lost
a couple of games, but it never we never waivered
and showed even on that and you can take it now.
You can take a punch in the face and not
trip all over yourself and act like a professional. So
it's kind of a in a weird way, kind of
a good thing for the guys to take for these
(17:26):
dudes that needed to show that because this is a
game of failure and we failed a few times. So
great families were awesome, Just a great experience all the
way around. And yeah, you said to come to fruition.
It sounds nice and easy to have these guys, but
you know, you really do got to make sure we're
stay in the course. You got to keep these guys healthy.
You got to give them the right platform to be
(17:47):
able to show what they're capable of and that they
are earning of what they're getting. So but it was
a great year and it all worked out.
Speaker 1 (17:54):
How did you coach? How did you get to this year?
Speaker 3 (17:57):
You know, because I think I think we saw Billy
who went tenth over all of the socks. He comes
in as a freshman. I think seth Ornandez came in
as a junior. Just how did this particular collection of
kids come together? What were you building over there, and
how did it get to this particular point?
Speaker 5 (18:14):
You know, I think it got to this particular point.
You know, we've been doing this for a while. This
will be seventeenth year for me next year, and we've
been on a good, steady climb the whole way through.
And we've had some guys that we've been able to
get out of here into whether it be a Stanford
and have success or to you know, like Tristan brittena back,
or you have a Samad Taylor who went straight in
(18:34):
and signed immediately out of high school out of Corona.
So we have a history of that, a little bit,
nothing out of control, nothing crazy. And then when the
COVID year hit, we had a bunch of really good
freshmen the next season, the twenty one year, and we
kind of ran out a bunch of guys and kind
of formed that team for four years. And if you
want to know something coming to fruit, that team right there,
(18:56):
with that core freshman group, we won the CIF Division
one Chance and Ship last year and that was that
was Ethan sheepel Mine and Josh Springer, who both got
drafted last year and signed and are playing you know,
pro ball for the Tigers and Rangers, respectively. And these
guys joined them, you know the you know, Brady Evil
and Seth Rnandez joined them, and Billy was already here.
(19:18):
Billy was a year behind those guys obviously, and it
just became a really good place to play. It came
a good mix. It they all had played together, they
all they all just knew each other. Josh Springer the catcher,
and Seth Hernandez had played They I'm seeing pictures of
them at like six years old. You know, one's playing short,
one's playing third, and this invincible little little man's travel
(19:40):
ball team and all these guys and just kind of
a good storm. And Billy ended up being kind of
the centerpiece where Seth and Billy were real tired already
from their time in travel ball, and uh and he
wanted to come over. Seth and and Brady had played
ball a bunch of years together as youngsters, so he
wanted to come award with his brother. So here kind
(20:02):
of just kind of a perfect storm. It can't be equated.
We only got one way to go, and that's you know,
it can't get any higher, I don't think on our end.
So we're gonna have to deal with that. But just
a perfect storm right now.
Speaker 2 (20:14):
Like you said, though, coach Wise joining us. Andy Wise
from Corona just had one of the craziest high school
baseball teams of all time and it'll go down in
history like many have. But you you're a high school
baseball coach, like you said, You've been doing this seventeen years,
so you're used to coaching I mean, high level guys.
It's hard to make a high school baseball team. But
a lot of these guys are just high school baseball players.
(20:37):
How do you coach both guys that are going to
be drafted in the first round and guys that are
high school baseball players on the same team.
Speaker 5 (20:46):
Well, you treat it like life. You know, it's reality.
Not everybody's going to be treated the same. Some guys
are you know this and that, and are going to
be looked at and treated differently, And it's something you're
pretty much going to have to deal with and understand
that the formula of what we're trying to do remains
the same. You know, not everybody's going to be treated
the same. It's like I'm the doctor and I'm giving
(21:07):
you the medicine, and and and not everybody you know,
you just that's that's a given. Everything outside of that
is kind of on your own. So these guys, they're
they're doing the same things, they're on the same page,
they're they're they're great teammates. And I think that's also
very important for them, not just to show that you
can hit the ball far and hard and throw this
(21:29):
at whatever, but to just be a good person and
be able to once again deal with whether it be success, failure,
other other variables teammates and uh, and that's part of it.
And if you don't want to be part of that,
then you know you don't have to be. But that's
kind of how we treat it, just kind of like
life would be, just like a job. You know, boss
is getting treated a little differently than the guy putting
(21:51):
the trash out no offense.
Speaker 2 (21:54):
The trash.
Speaker 5 (21:57):
I'm doing the trash too, brother.
Speaker 3 (22:01):
You mentioned scouts, like give us an idea. I mean,
when you guys have three guys go in the first round,
two in the top ten, like how many people is it?
Speaker 1 (22:10):
Just select games? You get word that they're coming like,
what is that like?
Speaker 5 (22:16):
Well, this year was a very original year because there
could be a year where you have a if you
have a pitcher, like you know, we had a picture.
You know, we've had pictures and past Tristan Beck. When
the scouts are coming out, they're coming to come out
on Tristan Beck Day. You know, it's like Kershaw Day.
It's like everybody knows and they let's go watch his
routine and do what he does. So they'd come to
watch Tristan Beck. And there's no reason to come watch
(22:37):
him in practice unless you want to see him throw
a bullpen. But when you have position players, they want
to see these guys all the time. They want to
see him hitting the cage, they want to see him
live on the field. They want to take see him
take ground balls, fly balls with their outfielder. They want
to see him throw, you know, they want to see
him move around. And then you know, you never know
who's in town. This is southern California, so people are
(22:58):
popping in and out to go see everybody out here.
And you get some big, big time guys from you know,
whether the East Coast or Midwest that need to get
some eyes on these guys to be able to solidify
how they feel about that individual player, and uh, and
it's it's just that's that's kind of how that goes
on that and so for they don't we had both.
(23:19):
We had pitchers and hitters and seth Ernandas is also
a hitter that a lot of people early on were
considering as a hitter as well, because dang, he's pretty
talented if you didn't know.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
But.
Speaker 5 (23:31):
They would. We'd get we could get anywhere from a
low day of about five guys out of practice too.
There'd be times where there was nothing going on and
we didn't have school or on spring break or whatever.
We'd have an early morning like an eight or I'm sorry,
like a ten o'clock practice where it works out they
have nothing else going on. We'd get thirty scouts out
(23:52):
at our practices, so pretty cool. I'd said, I almost
brought out a taco truck one time because I knew
it was just going to be pomping because there was
just they had to go to. Somebody was pitching in
the area at like three o'clock and we were practicing
at ten. I was like, oh my god, like this
is going to be out of control. And it was
it was just a reunion for these guys. You know,
they're all just hanging out. You got your your your
(24:14):
sleeveless vests, and you know they'll just say a little
a lot going on right there. It was fun though. Yeah,
for real, they were you know what, they were really
good about everything, and I I really kind of got
to cater to them because I want them to be
as happy and as comfortable with our guys and get
to be able to see everything they need to see
(24:36):
with there's nothing to hide. You shouldn't. If you have
something to hide, you're probably you know, you're not worthy
of it anyway. And these guys completely worse. So I
wanted everything wide open. I'd let these guys walk around
the field even seriously, come out, go down to the cage,
get just be around and be as close as you
want to be. Go ahead, sniff it out, man, walk.
Speaker 2 (24:54):
Around the ground until you feel at home, missus Robinson.
Speaker 5 (24:57):
Yeah, yeah, and I guess it kind of worked out,
you know what I mean, Like just trying to get
you guys every opportunity to see them.
Speaker 3 (25:04):
Last one for you, coach. We're fortunate to be able
to broadcast from Dodger Stadium. We get out there early,
we see Dino Ebel out there, the work he puts in,
the work that the players that he's coaching up are
putting in. When we're there to do our show at
two o'clock and there's Freddie Freeman and Mooki and Max
Munsey out there, kind of give us an idea of
what it was like coaching the the Ebel boys and
(25:24):
what it was like maybe working with I would assume
you know Dino Ebol as well these past few years.
Speaker 5 (25:30):
Oh well, first and foremost, it really was just an
honor to me, Like what a great feeling that I've
at least got something good enough going where a man
like Dino Evil's stature would want to put his children,
his boys. It's just one and only boys into my
baseball program, the further their career, and it's worked out.
It worked out for Brady so far, and I hope
it works out great for Tray. So that's just that,
(25:51):
the feeling, you know, as unbelievable. I can't be any
more grateful to Dino for that. Dino, really we've had
some great conversations. Nothing he's ever over and told me
you need to do this that or whatever, anything of
that nature by any means. I love to kind of
throw things at him. I'm a big Dodger fan, man,
so I'm watching almost every Dodger game and I get
to ask him, Hey, you probably should have scored or
(26:13):
well he would tell me, you know what's going on?
Or I bring up an observation, he goes, Yep, that's
kind of what's going on with that, and I'll be like, oh,
this is cool man to get a little insight on that.
But no, his kids have been awesome. Both boys have
been great. And what you can see is, you know,
obviously the talent is there physically, but these are just
professional dudes all the way around. Man. First guys out there,
(26:35):
always willing to be ready to rumble and help and
just great teammates having a great time. And that's part
of it, man. These Baseball is a long, grindy game,
especially if you get into the Pro Bowl. Realm, it's
just day on day on day. And if you're not
a good fella, they can handle that business. You ain't it,
You're gonna bring make everybody else miserable. And Brady Evils
just he's been such a solid professional He's going to
(26:57):
eat that up and make everybody else better around him
as well.
Speaker 2 (27:00):
Andy Wise doing great work with young people. The work
of a great coach is really special and really something
that we should celebrate and absolutely tremendous nationally recognized, globally
recognized work in the sport from Coach Wise. Three guys
in the first round Seth Fernandez, Billy Carlson and Brady Ebel.
(27:22):
Crazy man. Congratulations coach and go Panthers.
Speaker 5 (27:26):
Let's go boys. Thank you guys for having me. I
appreciate you.
Speaker 2 (27:30):
We're coming out. We're coming out for the taco truck.
Speaker 5 (27:33):

Be careful because you know it's kind of disappointed. Once
you've had the Doghouse, you hope you'll never want anything

Speaker 1 (28:48):
Ever.
Speaker 2 (28:49):
A lot of people have regretted it.
Speaker 1 (28:50):
I should have never had that dog.
Speaker 2 (28:52):
I can't have any more variety in my life because
of that dog I had. And now it's all I
think about. All right, I'm still thinking about that hot
dog from September's pretty good. Hot dog man say, I'm
very happy with that hot dog.
Speaker 1 (29:02):
Did you take any home? Did you eat that whole thing?
Speaker 2 (29:06):
You know the answer.
Speaker 1 (29:10):
Saying their portions were very large.
Speaker 2 (29:11):
Why you gotta be so rude, That's not how I
say it. It's time for the.
Speaker 4 (29:20):
Secret text us a fine brought to you by your
so called Toyota dealers.
Speaker 1 (29:25):
We make it easy.
Speaker 2 (29:26):
Make sure Matt informs the Dodger players at the All
Star Game about Magic City. We don't want them getting
surprised either. Matt thought Magic City sold wings like you know,
out in the lot, or like a.
Speaker 1 (29:39):
Separate like a separate. I didn't think that.
Speaker 2 (29:42):
It's a it's a strip club.
Speaker 3 (29:43):
There's wing told that I was specifically told, and then
you were just that's where we were going.
Speaker 2 (29:48):
So shocked when you got there, like, oh my god,
this isn't this isn't what I thought it would be.
I have to pay admission for this strip club. Well,
here's my money, take my money, guys. Let me see
what's going on. Oh, there's lou Willis.
Speaker 1 (29:59):
Williams the corner of the bar, right this spot turns out.
Speaker 2 (30:02):
Hi, I'm Matt Smith, voice to the bolts.
Speaker 1 (30:05):
What did you do there? I watched the six overtime
Georgia Tech Georgia.
Speaker 2 (30:09):
You did, Matt, Sure you did.
Speaker 1 (30:10):
I put my nose on the TV.
Speaker 2 (30:11):
SAT Magic City for the wings only, that's what I thought.
I read a Playboy for the articles in there. Catching
up on the podcast, I've been listening about a dozen years,
and that Joe Kelly interview was one of the best
for context. I don't even like baseball. I typically fast
forward the David Vasse segments until he breaks a bone
(30:34):
or his dodging unhoused Ventanyl.
Speaker 1 (30:37):
Oh, San Francisco, poop and needle freaks.
Speaker 2 (30:39):
Whoa. Joe was relatable and interesting, great family guy and
a legit skater. What a stud. Thank you for the
great interview. Yes, it really was a magic all of
our we take pride in every single one of our
Petros and Money Summer Tour events and every show for
that matter, but Friday with Joe Kelly and Forward with
(31:03):
all the people, there was a really special show. And
you could podcast that Joe Kelly interview. Like we said
earlier on the iHeartRadio app for your smartphone. This text Matt,
and I guess you know I regret. I don't know.
Speaker 1 (31:18):
I regret not vague.
Speaker 2 (31:20):
The Bachelor is having the bip The Bachelor in Paradise
with the old folks, and they've mixed in the old
and I don't know if the old can like go
and like, you know, like it's like the porn site
where old very versus young, you know, you can get them.
Speaker 1 (31:36):
I didn't know they have that in a site.
Speaker 2 (31:37):
Oh, for sure they do.
Speaker 1 (31:39):
They've got everything.
Speaker 2 (31:42):
That's actually quite prevalent. But the Bachelor, according to somebody,
the Bachelor's huge. Right now, the entire three thirty thousand
square foot bar at the Chase Center in San Francisco
is packed and everybody's watching it. Ninety women, I cut up.
Speaker 1 (32:00):
It seems like a pretty good place to pay.
Speaker 3 (32:01):
I mean, you come to our remote ninety percent men,
You go to the Bachelor get together at the bar
in San Francisco, ninety percent women.
Speaker 2 (32:09):
I don't think we were ninety I think ninety five. No,
come on, we had it was seventy. But I feel
like maybe I dropped the ball, you know, because here
we are in All Star weekend and there's you know,
we got plenty of time.
Speaker 1 (32:23):
I can't, Matt, it's no that ball is still down
on the ground.
Speaker 2 (32:26):
You don't just you don't just show up in your pads.
Speaker 1 (32:28):
It's too different, right, you don't.
Speaker 2 (32:29):
Just show up in your pads two games in, like, hey,
you guys need a full back.
Speaker 3 (32:32):
You know that, you know, but the BiP's different, right.
The BIP is like, it's not the well we used
to cover it if I remember something to do, and
then I got tired, Yeah, which is what we're interested in.
Speaker 2 (32:43):
And then I got tired of it. And now it
seems like with the addition of the old it's had
some kind of resurgence and we've missed the train. So
I'm sorry. I apologize. We've missed the train.
Speaker 1 (32:53):
You hooked up with her? I did? What was it like?
It's like having sex with an old baseball.
Speaker 2 (32:57):
To the How dare you? That's not what it's like?
Yeah it is. How would you know? I don't know.
Speaker 1 (33:07):
That's what I envisioned it being.
Speaker 2 (33:08):
Like, time for one more text.
Speaker 7 (33:10):
This says a fine bring back f and a The
Great Yeah FNA podcast was on Friday with employee Adam
and Kevin figures, Uh, is there another date for FNA
to perform?
Speaker 2 (33:27):
I'm hoping nothing on the book? Yeah, all right, but
it was a great shown.
Speaker 1 (33:32):
Thanks for you guys.
Speaker 2 (33:33):
Support.
Speaker 3 (33:33):
Zois at follow Adam a on Twitter, who is getting
good feedback there.
Speaker 6 (33:37):
At him we did some people were like, hey, we
could do a little bit more of this.
Speaker 2 (33:41):
Yeah, look at that.
Speaker 1 (33:42):
I like that, Fred, do a little bit more of that.
Speaker 2 (33:44):
I don't know if you had to say that, Matt.
I don't think you had to say it like that.
Speaker 1 (33:48):
It's what you were thinking.
Speaker 2 (33:50):
Well, I think it goes without saying Matt, but you
had to go out there and say it and make
it really awkward for everybody involved, including the A part
of F and A who is one of their NBA analysts.
As you know, it does happen in Cleveland. Can't trade
for Lebron. They're over the second Apron guy, what's wrong
with you?
Speaker 3 (34:08):
They just consummated a seventeen trade at him. You saw
it the first one ever.
Speaker 1 (34:12):
They just did it.
Speaker 6 (34:13):
You can't aggregate contracts if you're over the second April.
Speaker 2 (34:16):
Nobody around here has ever asked you an NBA question.
The first NBA question we asked you will be the first.
It's right.
Speaker 1 (34:23):
Care about your second Apron?
Speaker 3 (34:24):
I watched Sesame Street and I like mister Hooper and
I like his apron and I'm okay wearing one. I
care about yours, don't need to, dummy.
Speaker 2 (34:35):
Hooper gonn a sex change. Stop it. We'll be back
with more Petrosi mondy on half fine. He wears an
apron now stop it, with Freelly frills on the bottom.
