Speaker 1 (00:04):
Let me know when you're ready.
Speaker 2 (00:05):
I bet that's a good start.
Speaker 3 (00:07):
This is Tanner, Drew and Laura's Donkey Show, Donkey Show.
Speaker 4 (00:18):
Yes, Oh thanks for checking on Tanner to and Laura's
Donkey Show podcast heard online on one A five nine,
the Brew dot com, our, iHeartRadio app or wherever you
listen to podcasts. Yeah, I'm Tanner, Drew's here, Laura's here, Busterus.
Marcus is joining us this morning, and uh wow, man,
today Marcus is the big day that a lot of
us have been waiting for the second trailer for Grand
(00:40):
Theft Auto six drop this morning. Yeah, did he see it?
That's the court don't even see yet.
Speaker 5 (00:47):
I have not, man, I've been dealing with a sick
dog this morning and kind of that. I don't know
how it works for everybody else with dogs, but my
little guy threw up twice in the last like twelve hours,
and I am melting into a puddle right now.
Speaker 4 (01:01):
So I have not.
Speaker 5 (01:02):
I've been completely disconnected since that happened.
Speaker 4 (01:04):
He's probably okay, ate some grass or something. I yeah,
you're probably right.
Speaker 5 (01:09):
It's just like you ever know, and Tanner, you probably
you'll do this with your dog because you're so close
to him too. Like, I've fed this dog twice a
day every day for the last five years of my life,
and I've never once seen him not go after the
food with everything in his body. And the last two
days he's kind of just left food in his bowl
and like won't eat it, like just kind of eats
(01:31):
one kibble at a time, And that absolutely terrifies me.
Speaker 4 (01:35):
Yeah, I would definitely check that out with Shaq with
the vet. But don't make yourself sick. I mean, he's
probably he's probably just going through something.
Speaker 5 (01:42):
It's too late because I dude, and I fly to
Vegas tomorrow morning. Like it's there's too much going on
right now for him to be like this. So you're
gonna have to let me just live in my little
anxious bubble here for today.
Speaker 4 (01:53):
I'm sorry, I hear you. I Like, there's not gonna nothing.
No body is going to change my like fix my anxiety.
Like when it's there, if I'm freaking out about my dog,
it's there. I would come home when I was a
kid and my dog Daisy would jump the fence and
run off. Yeah, I have to go find her. And
I remember the feeling of dread that's set in my stomach,
you know, like what if I never find her? What
if A find her and she's dead? You know, like
(02:14):
all these things that would go through my mind. So
I get it. But to put you at ease a
little bit, is it's the same.
Speaker 6 (02:20):
I mean, it seems like it's different, but it's exactly
the same with children as it is with dogs. Is
that you know, you can worry yourself sick, but that
doesn't solve the problem. And so for me, a lot
of times, like you know, and then the first few
times my kids got crazy sick, I'm like, oh my god.
But like even in the storm or you're in those
big temperatures or where they're you know, one hundred and
(02:40):
three temperature, me worrying just makes me less able to
take care of the problem. Now that's easier said than done.
Because he loves this dog.
Speaker 4 (02:49):
But he's saying, Marcus, I take a bong hit and
drink a beer and you're gonna be just fine.
Speaker 6 (02:54):
And I know that since you're leaving town, that's probably
what's what's got you. You don't have the long girl
amount of time to figure it out exactly.
Speaker 5 (03:03):
And and any other day bong, hitting a beer would
probably make this all go away. It's just having you know.
It's it's a work trip, but that doesn't mean that
work doesn't happen when I'm gone. So I still have
a bunch of shit that I have to do before
I leave at seven tomorrow morning. And now I'm sitting
here waiting with baited breath for a callback from the vet.
(03:23):
I'm running downstairs to check on him every few minutes.
It's it's just not a good day for old marqueats.
Speaker 4 (03:29):
I'm sorry it's here. The duds are lucky to have you.
Let us know. If you got to take the call
from the vet, that is fine, let us know. But
if you want to watch the Grand Theft out of
six trailer, I mean, was there a song in.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
It, Laura, there's not like a recognizable No, I don't know,
I don't know whatever licensing issue, but you.
Speaker 4 (03:49):
Know, let me see real quick, because if not, I'll
just edit it up.
Speaker 2 (03:52):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (03:53):
So, uh, I mean, one thing that we can say,
because there wasn't a lot of game there was any
gameplay in the trailer, but one thing that we can't say,
Laura acknowledged. Just to acknowledge this it looks like a movie.
The animation looks so good that at some at some shots,
some angles, you can't really tell that it's that it's animated.
I like the story.
Speaker 6 (04:11):
I like the idea that you know, there's a couple
and it almost they insinuate that you're gonna get to
play with the guy, and then she's gonna show up
and you're gonna get to play with it.
Speaker 4 (04:21):
I think you will. Just like the last one, you
were three different characters.
Speaker 6 (04:23):
And I think because earlier, you know, years ago, when
this discussion started, it's like, oh yeah, you're going to
be a girl this time.
Speaker 4 (04:31):
In my mind, I was like, I feel like you
should be both.
Speaker 6 (04:33):
You know, you're a lady character for a while, you're
a guy character for a while. Allows the game to
be more immersive.
Speaker 4 (04:38):
I I think that was my opinion. That's the way
it was going to be the whole time. Like all
these people are who are mad, the sexist in cells
who are mad because it's a female, Like, dude, get
over yourself. That is so fucking dumb, and Rockstar is
not going to do that anyway. You're gonna play both
characters for sure, but uh, let me play a little
bit of the of the trailer because I don't remember
(04:58):
if there's a song in it or not. If there is,
I'm gonna have to edit it out. Jason, let me
back it up here so it looks like it was
more of just the story, right, like something, a lot
of cutscenes.
Speaker 2 (05:07):
Yeah, here it.
Speaker 4 (05:09):
Is what you're doing up there. We'll just fix it
some weeks. Seriously, dude, you got some time on your hands.
Speaker 7 (05:23):
I got some properties with paying tenants.
Speaker 4 (05:26):
That's why you can buy. Just go get me my
checks now. Even though you it looks really good. The
animation is great. It's it still feels that grand theft auto. Yeah,
that has their body fluidity. Yeah, and like you know,
guy shows up says a bunch of shit, says you
need to do a job. Go go fix this, go
buy it, pick this up, set up, and then you
go and wreck heads. Yeah. I just it's got all
(05:48):
those feels, uh, Marcus, I think you're gonna like it.
It's yeah. I don't want to go too deep, just
because I'm afraid that the music, yeah, something might play,
but I.
Speaker 6 (05:57):
Think he's gonna love just the crispiness of it that
it has has gta feels but almost like Laura said
that your eyes are going is that real or is
that video game? Which is exactly what we asked for?
Speaker 2 (06:10):
So do we know?
Speaker 5 (06:12):
I'm sorry, I'm watching it right now and it's unbelievable,
Like it's really hard to distinguish what is a real
shot and what is not. I don't think there has
been any real shots yet, and not saying something like
I could totally you could pass this off and tell
me that seconds twenty five through thirty two are all
actually really shot in like on a real camera with
real people, and I would buy it.
Speaker 7 (06:32):
Yeah, I mean this is wild.
Speaker 2 (06:34):
Is this story of continuation? Like do we know why
she's in prison?
Speaker 4 (06:38):
And I don't think so. I think each Grand Theft
Auto has been its own thing. I know they're all
in the same world and maybe a character too has
been in the same game, but I don't think so.
I'm pretty sure it's the separate game, like it's all
its own, it's own storyline. There's rumors that some of
the guys from the because they all use real actors.
There's rumors that some of the guys from the fifth
(06:59):
one will be in the sixth one because there's there's talk,
and I don't Again, these are all it's all speculation,
but there's talk that this will be the last physical
GTA game that ever comes out, and then everything else
will be added digitally, and that you're gonna be able
to go to Liberty City and to San Andreas and
to all the other maps that Grand Theft Autos released
over as they build out. So yeah, you'll be able
(07:19):
to fly out of Vice City to San Andreas. Seems crazy,
which makes sense.
Speaker 6 (07:23):
He just build it into a massive immersive map at
some point where you can dip in and out of
the world.
Speaker 4 (07:29):
But they're saying that you're you're more than likely gonna
be able to walk into every single building, every single
NPC will be able to communicate with you and have
its own set of rules. And I don't know how
they do it. I have no freaking clue how they
do it.
Speaker 6 (07:43):
I want to cut bots dodging behind a tree. Yeah,
make me feel like the good old days. But maybe
they won't have any glitching like that. They where they've
done the homework to where I don't think they will have.
Everything goes and if it does, I bet the patch
would be like.
Speaker 4 (07:58):
Boo immediately and I just think that's why they're delayed it, Marcus.
I mean, don't you think that they wanted to make
it right? The games like Starfield that come out and
are broken, cyberpunkin that are broken.
Speaker 2 (08:08):
But it's going to have to be right, especially since
they delayed it so much.
Speaker 4 (08:11):
Yeah, like by the time it comes out, it's gonna
be fourteen years.
Speaker 7 (08:14):
I think.
Speaker 5 (08:14):
Yeah, yep, but we all I mean, you could go
back and listen to some of the episodes where we've
talked about it, and we've all while we were all
hoping and we were all thinking maybe this is the one,
we also said, this isn't the one. They're gonna delay it.
It's gonna happen, and uh, here it is.
Speaker 4 (08:31):
It happens.
Speaker 5 (08:32):
So it's like I was upset when I first heard
about it, and then I remembered all of the shit
that I've talked on this podcast saying I knew this
was gonna happen, so I shouldn't be upset at all
about this.
Speaker 4 (08:41):
Here almost like see, I told you, well, I told.
Speaker 5 (08:44):
You that guy do so I look in the mirror
and I say that, which is a terribly self destructive.
Speaker 4 (08:49):
But he means it. Yeah, Well, there are so many
people who are frustrated with it, and I want to
play this clip. I played you guys a little bit
of it earlier this morning. But the streamer's name is Kai.
He's like one of the famous, most famous streamers out there.
This guy is a dude. Will have like Kevin Hart
and Drewski on his podcast or his stream. I have
like a rappers and famous people on a stream. This
(09:09):
guy is like a multi millionaire just from streaming. And
the guy sounds like an idiot. You know, he's not
like you can tell when you hear him talk. He's
not like it's a simpler.
Speaker 2 (09:18):
Loves making stupid people famous.
Speaker 4 (09:20):
It's very rich. Yeah, but Kai goes off on what
he believes needs to happen for grand theft out of six.
Speaker 7 (09:27):
You know how much is that?
Speaker 4 (09:28):
Want to let me make it clear. He does drop
a lot.
Speaker 6 (09:31):
Of bombs, and he you know, he has words that
we would never be able to say.
Speaker 4 (09:37):
He's allowed to say. But I want the longer video.
I don't want the hold on a second because some
of these are short, and I just want to hear
him ranting for here it is here, it is. Here's
Kay talking about G.
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Six Rockstar, you better make sure every building is able
to walk inside. I better be able to rob a
nigga motherfucking car and literally scanned his license plate and
find out where he lives, then go inside his crib,
then meet his family. Okay, has to be able to
(10:08):
meet somebody's grandmother smack the sit out of him to
be able to have a baby.
Speaker 4 (10:14):
I don't know if Marcus can hear that, but he's
basically saying, I should be able to do anything in
the game. I should be able to find somebody's grandmother
and smack the shit out of him. I should be
able to have full access to everything like in life.
Speaker 5 (10:23):
I guess, yeah, I I you sent me that video yesterday,
and I'm so glad that when I got it, I
was at the store and I didn't open it until
I got home, because it is nothing but that guy
screaming in bombs that he annoys the hell out of me.
By the way, but yeah, I can't say I disagree
(10:44):
with him. Like, at this point in time, you got
to revolutionize gaming, right, we all expect it.
Speaker 4 (10:49):
That's what happened.
Speaker 5 (10:50):
That's what's happened pretty much every time rock stars come
out with the big one.
Speaker 3 (10:54):
Uh.
Speaker 5 (10:54):
And so you know we've we've asked for this though,
going all the way back to GTA four, I remember
we all thought Nico was gonna be able to walk
into every building in Liberty City and it was a
bit of a disappointment. Yeah, you'd think now, all these
years later, we've got that technology.
Speaker 4 (11:10):
So let's see it right. Here's Mark Kai demanding, sending
Rockstar his list of demands on the things that he wants.
Speaker 1 (11:15):
I should be able to have a baby in GT.
A nigga a little old baby. Now, I know y'all
don't add kids, but it's been eleven years, ten years,
whatever it is. I should be gang gang a nigga.
Should be able to nigga. I should be able to
catch aids on GT Like if something happened with somebody
in the ship flob with my character, that nigga need
(11:38):
to gonna get checked up. Real nigga shit. I'm telling you,
gang because if you made it, if you're making a nigga,
wait this.
Speaker 4 (11:43):
Long, bro.
Speaker 1 (11:45):
If you if you if you're making a nigga, wait
this little album doesn't a file? Get the new Thanks
for the five gifted, bro?
Speaker 4 (11:49):
What did you say?
Speaker 3 (11:51):
Oh?
Speaker 4 (11:51):
No, he said thanks for the five, so he stopped. Okay,
he was acknowledging his stream. Somebody, somebody donated five bugs
or whatever. He said, thanks for the five gifted, and
then he just gets.
Speaker 6 (12:00):
Five dollars every time he says the N word nine
hundred times.
Speaker 4 (12:04):
Yeah, well there's Kai. He's fired up about GTA six
and has a list of demands. So this goes on
for like another two and a half minutes. But I
have time, you know, I'll have all day to sit
here and listen to him yell.
Speaker 6 (12:14):
Yeah, that get that Kai rant going. You know, it's
I agree with the interactive part though. That's what we've
always said. If they can do that, then I guess
another year.
Speaker 4 (12:25):
Alwaits. You know, I have no choice. Yeah, I've got
no other options.
Speaker 5 (12:30):
Does watching a guy like this Kai dude make anybody
else just anxious?
Speaker 7 (12:34):
Like?
Speaker 5 (12:35):
I think that's why he annoys me, is because he
can't sit still. He's always up and he's yelling and
he's moving around. I just can't comfortably watch the dude
or anybody like that with mannerisms like that that's just
going all the time. Is that just me?
Speaker 2 (12:48):
No?
Speaker 4 (12:48):
I think it's you guys. It's streamers in general I
find annoying. You know. I like the people that he
has on his podcast, and I've seen some clips of
Drewski and Kevin Harden stuff, but those guys, it's not
really him. That's that's good. And also streamers are just
like they're they're for young Like, so I was watching
this TikTok, this TikToker and he's a he was a
(13:08):
drama high school teacher, and he goes, dude, movies are dying.
I reference movies to these kids, you know, ninth through
twelfth grade, and they have no frickin clue what he's
talking about. But then they'll go, hey, have you seen
kay stream or this one streamer who shaved his head
or this one guy who's been catching petos on kick
or whatever. Like they know all the streamers, but they
don't know who movie stars are. They don't know movies,
(13:30):
so this is this is the new movie stars. People
like that.
Speaker 6 (13:32):
It's so disconnected at this point that at family gatherings
we do this thing called the Name game, and people
a lot of people have played it. It's where each
person puts a name and a hat, a famous name
and a hat. And then you have to guess who
in that room put each famous name in. It's gotten
to the point with my nephews and nieces that the
adults don't know the people they put in, and vice versa,
(13:56):
because they're putting in YouTube stars I've never heard of. Yeah,
and we're putting in now like a tom Cruise would
still hit. But anyone like you go, Charlie's there on
Dead behind the Eye.
Speaker 4 (14:08):
What movie is he in?
Speaker 6 (14:10):
Yeah, we don't watch Shakespeare, dude, Cord just walked him.
Speaker 4 (14:14):
We're talking about kids. Basically, I don't know movie stars.
They don't know movies, but they could tell you all
about streamers. So like streamers are basically the new the
new movie stars.
Speaker 7 (14:22):
Oh my god. Yeah, no, my kids are definitely like that.
Speaker 8 (14:25):
They were super impressed that I knew Squeezy. You know
Squeezy Jibs who he was?
Speaker 7 (14:31):
The guy?
Speaker 4 (14:32):
You know that guy?
Speaker 7 (14:32):
I know that guy. He's here in Portland.
Speaker 8 (14:34):
I know him, and so like, you know, I've tried
to teach my kids all about movies and stuff like that.
They don't care about any of it. But then I
just my daughter was watching a Squeeze video.
Speaker 7 (14:43):
I'm like, oh, I know that guy. She's like, oh
my god, you know squeeze.
Speaker 4 (14:45):
Yeah. Well, I mean someone like mister Beast can say
he's going to be in a mall somewhere and five
hundred people show up. You know, Chris Pratt does something
and you know, I guess people show up too for
someone like that. But yeah, for these streamers, people are
going crazy. Oh yeah, for sure, there's just so much money.
There's this there's this streamer named Speed I Am Speed
or something like that, and he go he films himself
(15:07):
going to other countries and he is he is surrounded
like he's a beatle. Yeah, and we're talking about we're
talking about hundreds of people around him and he had
to have police get him out of there, Like, how
is this happening?
Speaker 8 (15:18):
Well, and you don't even have to be like super
famous to the point where you're making millions. I know
two people, kids of friends of mine, who make a living,
just enough of a living that they don't have to
get real jobs just doing streaming stuff. They make, you know,
like sixty seventy thousand dollars a year just doing streaming stuff.
Speaker 7 (15:36):
And they've seen the.
Speaker 4 (15:37):
People who'll stream themselves sleeping and then like you can
you can spend like ten dollars and hit a bell,
isn't there? I think he does that. Yeah, he does that.
Speaker 6 (15:45):
A lot of these guys do it, but they're also
once they're in it, this is their job. So like
the aggressive, over the top rants, the freakouts, the who
was the guy who went viral he used to play
like NFL football on his gaming console with the glass.
Speaker 4 (16:01):
Sketch sketch, which it's.
Speaker 6 (16:03):
All entertaining, but they're all a slave to it in
the end because when it gets down to it, we
need another video this morning. Okay, I'm gonna go ass
out in front of the camera again, Like they have
to ass out or it's no no hiss.
Speaker 8 (16:14):
Yeah, you're right, And it's every single day, if not
multiple times a day.
Speaker 7 (16:18):
They have to get videos out.
Speaker 4 (16:19):
It's a lot, dude. Some of them are some of
the worst people you'll ever see too, especially comes out
when you're every day, especially streamers on kick that is
where like all the people who've been banned from everything
else go are the people who do really edgy, awful content.
As much as I like watching a pedal get beat up,
that's where all that that stuff came from So that
guy Vitality or whatever his name is, he was the
(16:40):
one who would have like acon show up on a
on a yeah, and then seeing lock up to the
guy they're about to arrest. That might be his best video.
This dude is such a piece of shit. So he
goes and like, I think it's great that he was
catching petos. There's accusations that a lot of them were
set up and fake. But yeah, he has other problems.
He goes to I think Thailand or or the Philippines
(17:01):
or something. He goes to another country recently. I think
you're right on the Philippines and he's asking out like
he's filming himself, picking on on just normal people who
live there, walking to work. He's picking on police. He's
just acting a fool in this country. They arrest him.
Speaker 7 (17:16):
Oh I saw this video. I just see this video.
Speaker 2 (17:18):
Dude.
Speaker 4 (17:18):
He just got sentenced to twenty five years in actually
sentenced him. I saw he was pending. I heard that
he's got that. He got twenty five years. But you
know what Philippines You never know, Yeah, in the Philippines,
So I don't know what a Philippines prison. So this
is what happened one of the things that happened to him.
Speaker 6 (17:34):
So we went over, like Tanner said, just belligerant and
acting above the culture. In my opinion, he's on something
like drugs or something. Yeah, it was totally disjointed. Well,
the viral video was not just viral here. It went
viral there and actually got forwarded all the way up
the chain to their prime minister or whoever you know
the leader of the country is. And he said, if
(17:55):
we don't make an example out of this guy, they
will continue to disrest to So it went to the
tip top and it's like, just destroy him.
Speaker 7 (18:03):
Yeah.
Speaker 8 (18:04):
Well, and you don't want to mess around with drugs
in other countries because like some of those countries they
have the death penalty.
Speaker 7 (18:09):
I don't know.
Speaker 8 (18:10):
I don't think the Philippines doesn't one of them, but
some of them they're like, if you if you bring
in cocaine or whatever, you're dead.
Speaker 6 (18:15):
And don't laws in places you don't have rights, that's
the worst plan.
Speaker 4 (18:19):
Look what happens to people and they bring in a
little bit of pot into Russia, they lose their ship. Right,
So yeah, I wouldn't play around, yep. But yeah, these
streamers are massive. I don't get it. They go and
then they get these god complexes where they think that
they're the they think that they're just the biggest and
greatest thing ever, Like Jack Dorsey's one of them is
that that little a little ship who talks trash to
people in public, and then when they step up to
(18:40):
fight him, his big bodyguard steps and he's just the
worst of the worst. He's wanting to like wrecked a
Lambeau and they laughed about it. He's the He's the worst.
Speaker 7 (18:49):
Of the worst.
Speaker 6 (18:50):
And the problem is, and it's not us individually, but
as a whole, we have fed these idiots.
Speaker 4 (18:56):
Well, I think a lot of people hate watch you know,
they just hate the kids when.
Speaker 6 (18:59):
He continues to run the meter, yeah, which you know,
I get it, Like I you know, I've been caught
on those videos too where I'm like, oh my god,
this little bastard and I'm just staring at him watching
his entire video.
Speaker 2 (19:10):
We like, the longer you watch, then the more engagement
he gets, and it's yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:15):
More money.
Speaker 6 (19:15):
Almost have to say, Okay, I have to make a
conscious decision to scroll away from you.
Speaker 2 (19:19):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (19:20):
Yeah, like all the like vitality and that Jack Dorsey
and Neon. They're all trash human beings. And uh, I
don't I don't even give him the time of day.
I skim right past their video smart as soon as
I see it. But yes, I will watch some of
these shitheads play GTA six THO when it comes out.
I will watch Kai play GTA six all right, he played.
He beat elden Ring in like three or four days.
He just did a whole wow, like a marathon.
Speaker 7 (19:42):
Jesus three. That's a huge game.
Speaker 4 (19:44):
Yeah, I think it's gonna take me like three years.
But he did it in three days.
Speaker 7 (19:48):
And if you got nothing else to do, I guess
that's your job.
Speaker 1 (19:51):
I can't.
Speaker 4 (19:52):
Yeah, I couldn't do it. I could not do it.
They say, you call your content creator, you're not creating,
and you're just in front of a camera talking. You're
not doing anything.
Speaker 6 (20:00):
And like just the beginning of his conversation there the
word salad that was coming out the broken English and
then using the N worm N word as a connector
word so much. It's the same thing if I watch
comedy and all you can do is swear because you've
got nothing else, you lose me.
Speaker 2 (20:16):
I just man, I just wish that that we wouldn't
reward that type of content, you know what I mean.
It's like, make these people bottom of the totem pole again. Yeah,
like why why are they making millions of dollars?
Speaker 4 (20:30):
It's our fat that's the hat.
Speaker 7 (20:32):
I want.
Speaker 4 (20:32):
Make streamers irrelevant again, Yeah, exactly how I want.
Speaker 8 (20:35):
I think you almost need like a community notes kind
of a thing that pops up the second you click
on a video, so that this person is trash, so
that you're like, Okay, I'm not gonna.
Speaker 4 (20:41):
Watch this person's trash. Would you like to continue a
little pop up video to move on? Click here?
Speaker 5 (20:46):
Yeah, Marcus, I think it's funny because you know, back
I think back of the George Clooney Oscar speech, remember,
and we were all just like, oh god, shut up already,
Like I'm so sick of movie stars being out there
and talking like they know everything and they're all stupid,
and we kind of pined for something else to replace
these people. And here we have, ten years later, we've
(21:08):
replaced them with streamers, and it's so much worse. I
would kill for a George Clooney speech once a week.
He can come give it in my kitchen. For Christis
they just take this shit off my feed because it's
and I guess it's just us getting old, right, this
is just a sign of the times, like this is
what the kids like and we're not kids anymore.
Speaker 4 (21:27):
And I hate it.
Speaker 7 (21:28):
I hate it so much.
Speaker 4 (21:29):
I hate that. I don't get why you like it.
I like it, like I'm not. I'm not somebody who
like this is the kind of content I like. But
I like that. I like when people ass out and
do things offscript and do things that you don't normally
do you don't necessarily you're not necessarily supposed to do.
I just like when people are themselves, even no matter
how shitty it is. Yeah. So, I mean so in
(21:51):
a way, I do like kuy, but only because he's
like just a fucking mess.
Speaker 8 (21:56):
I like it when you're authentically a mess, that's what
it is. But if you're but if you're somebody who
is trying to be a mess to get the clicks,
that's why it's.
Speaker 4 (22:03):
A little fatigue. Well there it is. With all that said, though,
I am so, did you watch this GT six trailer?
Speaker 7 (22:09):
I did?
Speaker 4 (22:10):
Yeah, what'd you think?
Speaker 5 (22:11):
What's cool?
Speaker 8 (22:11):
I mean, it's uh, it's beautiful. I mean it looks.
It looks pretty incredible, the details amazing.
Speaker 4 (22:17):
It felt like they kind of threw it together a
little bit.
Speaker 7 (22:19):
I'm sure they did.
Speaker 4 (22:19):
Like it's just like we've got to give these kids something.
They're fucking pissed off, right, I'm sure.
Speaker 8 (22:23):
That's exactly what it was, like they're going to write it.
If we don't give them something, who cares?
Speaker 4 (22:26):
Even if they're mad, Like they're going to buy the game, right,
A year is gonna pass, We're gonna you know, and
they're gonna buy it.
Speaker 8 (22:31):
I just I'm just wondering how much space on my
console that's going to take up because all of it, Yeah,
because it's not gonna be there's no disc. It's gonna
be straight download and it's going to take up everything.
Speaker 4 (22:43):
Very hard copy. What I understand, they're not releasing it
digitally for the first week. Oh good, and then it's
not gonna be on PC for a year.
Speaker 8 (22:49):
Okay, yeah, because then I mean, if if there's a disc,
then I'm I'm I feel better about it. But if
they're going to do a straight download, like it's gonna
take me four years just to download it, and then
then you know.
Speaker 4 (23:00):
Two when I when Grand theft out of five came out.
I got home because I bought it at midnight, so
i got hometo like twelve thirty and I'm super stoked
to buy or to play the game. I pop it
in and there's I realized there's two discs. The first
disc just loads and it takes a little over an
hour to load. Yeah, the second one took about fifteen
minutes to load. But yeah, it was a whole process.
I couldn't just sit down and play.
Speaker 7 (23:17):
And then you had to update.
Speaker 8 (23:19):
Yeah, like you'd buy the game and instantly you have
to update, Like this should be updated.
Speaker 7 (23:23):
This is brand new, it just came out today.
Speaker 4 (23:25):
It's so frustrated.
Speaker 5 (23:26):
Think about this too, Like I expected there to be
no hard copy of GTA six, And I actually considered
this when I bought my new updated Xbox. The only
game I really wanted to play at the time was
College Football twenty five, and I figured, okay, and this
thing is just going to sit here and collect dust
until GTA six comes out. And it is, but it's
also going to collect dust for another week because my
(23:48):
Xbox doesn't take a goddamn disc. It's the digital only one.
And how many people bought that one because it was
the cheapest one. Yeah, like that's yeah play that.
Speaker 4 (23:57):
Makes me think that maybe maybe it will be a
digital thing. But I heard that they were trying to
keep it from keep people from pirrating it.
Speaker 8 (24:04):
Yeah, no, and I don't I don't blame them for that,
but people are gonna pirate it anyhow.
Speaker 6 (24:09):
Marcus buying that one is kind of like when court
chose not to put in ac user air.
Speaker 2 (24:15):
How was I supposed to know?
Speaker 7 (24:17):
Yeah, all right, stupid global warming.
Speaker 4 (24:20):
Well that does it for us today. We will see tomorrow.
We've got if you're listening to this on May sixth,
when we're recording it, we do have more tickets to
Brian Adams and Pat bennettar tomorrow. I almost said Brian
Adams and Cat Williams. That would be sick, that would
be interesting. Have no idea. I think it just looked
like Williams Cat bennetto it just kind of unless my
eyesight isn't great from this far away, so it kind
(24:42):
of looked like Cat Williams.
Speaker 8 (24:43):
I can kind of see the cat because the pie's
kind of squished, but I do not see the Williams
in Benattar.
Speaker 2 (24:48):
It's yeah, whatever, I mean, similar number?
Speaker 4 (24:52):
Is that your handwriting law will court. It's a lot
better than my handwriting, or I'd smash it. Laura's got
great handwriting.
Speaker 2 (24:59):
Yeah, it's not fun hers six a m.
Speaker 6 (25:01):
P up there, don't judge her on that. I bet
that was Richard pre pre show all right.
Speaker 4 (25:07):
Uh yeah, Bryan Adams, Cat William siggets tomorrow at seven thirty.
We'll see you then.
Speaker 3 (25:13):

Laura's Donkey Show, heard daily at one O five nine

of our souls.
