(04:17):
hear a story about someone else who went through a
very uncomfortable situation. You hear how they got out of it,
and it helps you figure out how you're gonna get
out of it. And probably one of the most uncomfortable
situations you could ever encounter is like a scene from
Along Came Polly.
Speaker 3 (04:31):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (04:32):
Then Stiller, who played Jennifer Aniston's boyfriend, well soon to
be boyfriend in the movie, was very allergic to Indian food.
She took him out to her favorite Indian restaurant. The
spicy stuff did not agree with his tummy. They ended
up back at her apartment and he used all the
toilet paper.
Speaker 2 (04:47):
Well, no, there was none in there. Oh, that's right.
So then he went to her special towels.
Speaker 3 (04:51):
Yeah, that was like, I'm embroidered by her like grandmothers.
Speaker 1 (04:55):
So funny. And we're talking about this because in our
nearly impossible question, we learned that twenty percent of gen
zers have never used a toilet plunger.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
They don't know how to use it. So let this
be your lesson. Learn how to use it.
Speaker 1 (05:08):
So when you're on your date, you know what to
do in an uncomfortable situation.
Speaker 3 (05:13):
Don't want to be in that situation.
Speaker 1 (05:14):
It's kind of like Anthony, before you even go to
the bathroom at someone's house, check for the plunger.
Speaker 3 (05:19):
Well, somebody, And it was so funny when I pulled
that clip, all these people are saying, why didn't he
look for something like that. But everybody was like, hey,
when you gotta go, though you gotta go, you don't
have time to suss the situation.
Speaker 1 (05:29):
Now we know, all right, and we're asking you how
you dealt with this situation. Now we've got Anita calling
in from Webster and you say, it wasn't you, it
was your kids.
Speaker 4 (05:40):
Well, my son's the firstborn, and he just I don't know,
you know, boys eat a lot. And then he would
not monitor, like he would not ration the doornut paper out,
and I'm like, dude, just because a lot comes out
does not mean you need a half a role. Oh
it doesn't be it.
Speaker 1 (06:02):
So he clogged the toilet with the paper toilet paper.
Speaker 4 (06:05):
Yes, the paper, like literally a quarter of a role.
I'm like, are you building a house?
Speaker 2 (06:11):
What are you doing?
Speaker 3 (06:12):
Oh my gosh, oh my god.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
So was it you going into the bathroom because he
was taking so long or did he come out sheepishly
saying mom, you gotta help me, Mom?
Speaker 4 (06:23):
Can you help me? Something's wrong? I'm like, what can
you clarify something? What's the something? Because there's usually something
wrong when your facebook that He's like, oh, there's something
wrong with the toilet.
Speaker 1 (06:36):
I'm like, well, no, there's there's.
Speaker 4 (06:38):
Actually not, but you're force feeding it at half a roll.
Speaker 1 (06:41):
Right, Okay, Anita, fast forward it today. Your first born
is grown. Now do you ever recount his childhood habits?
Speaker 4 (06:52):
Oh, all the time, as.
Speaker 2 (06:53):
Much as possible. And then when he has.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
Kids, you're gonna have to tell them about what dad
used to do with the toilet hundred percent.
Speaker 4 (07:01):
And in case i'd get to mention, I deminsa, I
am writing it down.
Speaker 3 (07:05):
Oh my gosh, you.
Speaker 4 (07:07):
Know, yes, you know how women read it.
Speaker 1 (07:09):
Women invest in products that we use a lot, and
we usually become really super successful in the stock market.
You should have invested in a toilet paper company.
Speaker 2 (07:18):
I so should have. That is a great story, Anita.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
So did you use to did you because of him
using all that toilet paper? Did you teach him how
to use the plunger to get rid of it all?
Speaker 2 (07:32):
One hundred percent?
Speaker 4 (07:33):
You got to remember I was a single mom, so
they had to fend for themselves on a lot of things.
And I'm like, if you can make a bed and
you can pack your lunch, you can pick the toilet.
Speaker 1 (07:45):
What a great story, Anita, Yes, thank you for sharing
we appreciate it. That is the so funny, and I
bet so many people can relate to that. And I
bet there's kids doing it right now as we speak.
Speaker 4 (07:57):
There are, I promise you there.
Speaker 3 (07:59):
I love it.
Speaker 4 (07:59):
I love it.
Speaker 2 (08:00):
Great story, Anita Bye.
Speaker 4 (08:02):
I'm glad my son lives out of state so he
won't hear this stick around
