pay attention to elderly neighbors, make sure everyone's okay. If
you need a cooling center, you can. The Office of
(00:39):
Emergency Management has set up a website for locations and
times houstonoem dot org. And with this record heat, a
reminder don't leave children or pets in hot cars. The
National Highway Transportation Safety Administration says there have already been
three deaths of children left in hot cars this year.
(00:59):
Use physical objects, they're telling you to remind you, like
a stuffed animal in your lap, or put something that
you need in the backseat of your cars so when
you get out, you'll remember to look back there.
Speaker 2 (01:13):
Remember that child, which is such great advice.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
And lots of new moms. And I have some good
news for you. Texas House passed a bill that would
allow a woman who's pregnant or a parent or a
legal guardian to use HOV lanes regardless.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
Of who's in the car.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
That's pretty cool. It's the Mother's Day bill. Now, it's
got to go to the House. Excuse me, it was
passed in the House. It's got to go to the
Senate now or consideration. That would be pretty cool. But
we can't forget dad's yea, maybe they'll do a Father's
Day bill, would be cool.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
Thanks right.
Speaker 1 (01:44):

it looked amazing. Miso soup A five wag You, Nigheri
sam and nigery port, Schumei, Shashido, Pepper's Toro tartar. It
all looks incredible And if you were wondering what the

Speaker 2 (03:46):
This sounds so good and with this heat.
Speaker 1 (03:48):
This is a cool survey and life saving as well.
The color of your child's swimsuit could save their life.
Speaker 2 (03:58):
According to this new survey.
Speaker 1 (04:00):
They looked at swimsuits in bodies different bodies of water,
and the ones that stood out the most.
Speaker 2 (04:06):
Made the top of the list. The top colors.
Speaker 1 (04:09):
Number one Neon yellow oh, followed by Neon bean, and
then Neon orange. White came in fourth place, But it
wouldn't stand out in a crowded pool. Neon pink. Lots
of little girls love Neon pink. It did not perform well.
So something to keep in the back of your mind
as you consider maybe going to the pool today. The
(04:31):

And Today I'm Dana with producer Anthony talking about the
most misplaced items keys was the answer are nearly impossible?
(05:00):
Question you have any strategies. We've got Teresa, who works
at a bank in Spring. What strategy do you use
to making sure you don't lose your keys?
Speaker 2 (05:09):
I always try to put them in the same spot. Yeah,
me too, right, yeah, exact same.
Speaker 1 (05:15):
But then you get distracted and one day you put
them in a different spot.
Speaker 2 (05:20):
Then what do you I mean?
Speaker 1 (05:20):
I'll have Anthony going, I'm running late, I can't find
my keys, right, so but I've got this. My sister
got me this nice silver hook, and I put my
keychain on the hook and you hook it to the
outside of your purse, so the keys are always visible.
You're not worried about them. Well, I mean the keys
are on the inside, but the hook is on the outside,
and so that way, I see that silver thing, and
(05:43):
I'm like, Okay, I got my keys, but I forget
my glasses.
Speaker 2 (05:46):
