Jesus Sunday nighty nine point one. I'm Dana with producer Anthony.
Starting out a beautiful Tuesday, but we've got some rain
possible after lunch. Twenty percent chance we're gonna go up
to ninety two today right now, seventy five and uptown.
Talking about the biggest purchase we regret for twenty percent
of us. It's our house turns into a money pit

(05:04):
for a whole bunch of reasons. Now we're asking you
about your home experience. We've got Christy calling in from Baytown. Now,
you are currently living in an apartment in Baytown.

Speaker 4 (05:13):
Well it's actually not a well it is an apartment,
but it's a condo and I own it.

Speaker 2 (05:18):
Ah, very nice. So did you go from house to condo?
What made you want to do a condo?

Speaker 4 (05:25):
You know what I wanted a house, but I do
not want to put in all the work. With a
house and a condo, the condo gets taken care of
on the outside. I don't have to worry about the lawn.
I don't have to worry about any of those things.

Speaker 2 (05:38):
That's actually a good point.

Speaker 1 (05:39):
It's really important when we know our limits, when we're
just we're just like, I like the idea of some
of mowing the lawn, but it's not going to be me.
And so then you realize then that means I probably
shouldn't get a house with a yard, because it's going
to be just a pain in the butt.

Speaker 4 (05:53):
Right, exactly, exactly, Well.

Speaker 2 (05:56):
Smart, I love that. And so how long have you
own this condo?

Speaker 4 (06:01):
This is actually the second one that I bought. I've
lived in the same complex since two thousand and nine.

Speaker 2 (06:08):
What do you love so much about it there in Baytown?

Speaker 4 (06:11):
You know what? All of my families here. I say
the same answer every time y'all ask me. And it's true,
all of my family's here, and Baytown's small, but it's
not and there's so much to do here.

Speaker 2 (06:22):
That is excellent.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
Oh wow, Yeah, you are an amazing ambassador. Sure, And
you mentioned earlier that your birthday is June twenty second.

Speaker 2 (06:31):
So happy early birthday to you. How are you going
to celebrate your birthday this year?

Speaker 4 (06:35):
You know, I just got back from celebrating another Jean birthday.
My friend turned fifty last week a couple of weeks ago,
and I went on a cruise for her birthday with
her and other people, and I think that that was
my main big thing. I'm just going to be hanging
out with my family and relaxing.

Speaker 2 (06:55):
Well, that's the perfect You have the best time.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
Your favorite birthday came, Christy, what would it be?

Speaker 4 (07:01):
Oh my gosh, there's too many. I'm not gonna lie.
I love dairy queen.

Speaker 1 (07:05):
I don't get me a.

Speaker 2 (07:06):
Blizzard, and you can get a blizzard if you want to. Christy,
Happy birthday. And we're so glad you listened to Sadie.
We appreciate you.

Speaker 4 (07:15):
Oh my gosh, I listened to y'all so much. And
I know I sound so like not with energy this morning,
but I listened to y'all all the time. So I
so lovely hearing y'all because y'all are just positive.

Speaker 2 (07:27):
Oh well, we're so glad you are.

Speaker 4 (07:30):
