of agony. You had terrible morning sick and his headache.
So anyway, that is quite a finding. So we'll get
some more details. That was just announced yesterday, and we

(01:07):
have been waiting for fall weather. First day of fall
was on Monday. It's still has been feeling like summertime,
but maybe today will be the day. The rains coming
in this afternoon could lower the humidity, so it feels
more like fall now today, although we go up to
ninety tomorrow's high in the eighties, but with lower humidity,
we could be making some progress Right now. It's already

(01:29):
at seventy eight and uptown and eure up to date
from Sunday ninety nine point one as we get ready
for the eight o'clock All Music Hour, and at eight
ten it's our Battle of the Burbs on sunny Wow,

Speaker 1 (02:56):
And I think Orbit should be voted the best mascot
as the Astros begin their series with the Athletics in California.
When ESPN was in town over the weekend. On Sunday,
Orbit showed some Southern hospitality, bringing the anchors amazing Houston treats.
First a cake, then brisket, chicken tenders, and the best

(03:17):
margarita's I think I've ever tasted from Bel Tampo. I
don't even know after they were drinking the margaritas how
they were able to go on during the broadcast, but
it was an incredible, credibly kind gesture by Orbit, and
I think, like I said, Orbit should be named Mascot
of the Year for his Southern hospitality and go astros

(03:37):
as they begin their series with the Athletics. Athletics you
can hear it on our sister station, The Game's at
seven on News Radio seven k TRH, and our fielder
Aloys each weekday mornings set a preset on the new
and improved iHeartRadio app to Sonny ninety nine point one,
A ninety nine point one Houston's best variety of the
eighties nineties, and today it's seven thirteen. I'm Dana with

(04:00):
Anthony and speaking of fall. Anthony talked earlier about this
pumpkin spice craze. Is it marketing or do we really
love it? We really love the pumpkin spice spices. They
just make everything so warm and cozy. But I stopped
drinking the latte when I realized how much sugar there was.
Oh a lot. But there's special treats. You can get

(04:21):
pumpkin spice bread, pumpkin spice cookies that are treats. I
just have to have my coffee black now because I
don't need the added calories. But when it's cheat day,
definitely pumpkin spice treats. Anything cinnamon. I love cinnamon. It's
just got cinnamon is feeling, you know. I just love it.
So we're asking you this morning now that fall hopefully

(04:42):

little taste of it. What are your Do you have
any fall plans on your bucket list? Are you a
big fan of everything pumpkin spice or is fall just
another season and maybe your favorite season is winter? For me, Anthony,
I get so homesick for Long Island in the fall.

go to this fall festival. It was a school for
the deaf and they had candied It was it was
on an apple orchard. They had candied apples. That we
would get, you know, once a year you had your
candied apple and it was all to benefit these students.

(05:26):
It was the most incredible fall festival I think I've
ever gone to. And I miss it so much.

Speaker 2 (05:32):
Yeah, I'm like, I remember cider being a big thing
in the Northeast to Yeah, that kind of that kind
of year, yeah, or that kind of time of year
when because when we lived up in that in that
part at upstate, Upstate New York. Yeah, and I remember
the seasons were changed and you know, and of course
the leaves up there. I mean it's a much bigger,
you know, event, So I can fully understand that I.

Speaker 1 (05:53):
Get very very homesick. I always think. I always think
my mom and dad were at their best during the fall,
and it's just we had our sports, the weather felt great,
and I'm a summertime girl. I mean I love the
beach and everything, but once fall started, it just did
something to my soul. And uh, what about you? Is
fall your favorite holiday? Yeah? Let us know your fall feelings.

(06:15):
