Today's weather alert day possible because this cool front moving
in all next week in the upper seventies. For the
high we could have this afternoon inch of tonight, flash flooding, hail,
heavy thunderstorms and win us up to sixty miles per hour.

Now today we're going to go up to eighty two
right now, seventy one in Uptown and eure up to day.
I'm sunny, tell me something good brought to us by
our friends at Goodwill Houston. Yesterday, Anthony, we talked about
this entrepreneurial family in Montgomery, a fifteen year old, eleven
year old, a four year old, all of their own businesses, food, jewelry,
lots of the four year old that he was kind
(01:21):
of the gopher right helping out the siblings.
Speaker 3 (01:24):
Well.
Speaker 1 (01:24):
Now enter Morgan Calhoun, also from Montgomery.
Speaker 2 (01:28):
She rescues clothes.
Speaker 1 (01:30):
Destined for the landfill and upgrades them into one of
a kind shirts and jackets and hats. It's called Sweet
Texas Treasure and she opened.
Speaker 2 (01:40):
It in twenty sixteen.
Speaker 1 (01:41):
It all started with a Texas themed onesie she made
for her newborn. Fast forward to today. Her designs are
now in over three one hundred and fifty boutiques nationwide.
I checked it out. Lots of great astro's clothing. Oh,
that's been really cool. Sweet Texas Treasure, So cool, Morgan,
(02:01):
Great job, producer, Anthony.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
Dane, This is really awesome.
Speaker 4 (02:04):
Our Houston Astros pitcher Spencer Araghetti is gonna be honored
with a bobblehead for the first time tonight at Constellation Field.
But even funnier The bobblehead is a fun play on
his name, which sounds an awful lot like spaghetti. This
has been prompting fans to use the spaghetti emoji online
or just straight up nickname him spaghetti. So as a result,
the bobblehead features aarraghetty wearing a chef's hat, holding up
plate of pasta in his left hand and a baseball
(02:27):
in his right hand, all while standing over a pot
of spaghetti and meatballs. Even the packaging features spaghetti on it.
It's glorious. So if you're headed to see the Space
Cowboys take on Round Rock tonight in sugar Land at
Constellation Field, make sure try and grab the new Spaghetti
air Raghetti bobblehead and let me know if you can
get an extra one.
Speaker 2 (02:42):
Because this thing is awesome. It really is cute. I
love it.
Speaker 3 (02:45):
Hey.
Speaker 1 (02:46):

to my mom. She's eighty eight dealing with dementia horses.
She rides a pony and literally, that's right, changes her brain.
It's incredible. There is a therapeutic riding center in Richmond,
also changing lives. It's called Raining Strength Therapeutic Horsemanship, and
it helps kids and adults with physical disabilities, social and
(03:10):
emotional needs. It helps them realize their individual potential. All
lessons are taught by certified instructures instructors. Maddie who lost
function on one side of her body after a stroke
when she had a baby, Literally it changes her whole personality.
When she's on the horse accomplishing miraculous goals, Zada, who
(03:33):
has autism, has been riding out there and Zada has
actually started talking.
Speaker 3 (03:38):

aasy with you. So did share with us what made
you feel good this week?

have this?
Speaker 1 (05:02):
Oh? No, she was nervous.
Speaker 2 (05:04):
I never got one asy?
Speaker 1 (05:07):
So what enabled you to be a success? What were
you thinking when you went into this competition?
Speaker 2 (05:13):
She's just looking at me like, I don't know. Probably nervous.
I was in a state of shock. I have no memory.
That was me. That's okay, that was me?
Speaker 1 (05:20):
All right, ezy, you accomplished this. What's your next big goal?
Speaker 2 (05:25):
Oh that's a great question. What is your next goal?
Speaker 3 (05:27):
My friend?
Speaker 4 (05:28):
She loves soccer, so we're in soccer season right now.
Speaker 2 (05:31):
Excellent, Do you have a soccer goal.
Speaker 1 (05:33):
She said to score, but I think she tried to
score with her head last night, so I think that's
a dream. Oh yeah, Azy, it sounds like you've got
it going on.
Speaker 2 (05:43):
It just builds you.
Speaker 1 (05:44):
It builds you up, and it gives you such confidence
when you achieve these goals.
Speaker 2 (05:48):

You'll have a great morning. You still calling in. We
appreciated Amanda, great job.

Speaker 1 (06:00):
So our feel good Friday, we have to ask all
our listeners what made you feel good this week? Or
did you make someone else feel good? Oh?
Speaker 3 (06:09):
I have to say, thinking to my exercise routine this week.
Speaker 2 (06:14):
Oh wow, that's amazing. Tell us about is this something
new that you've started.
Speaker 3 (06:19):
Started back up? Yes? I used to do it pretty
good in the past, and then I just stopped and
now I've gotten back into it again.
Speaker 2 (06:27):
What motivated you just start doing it this week?
Speaker 3 (06:29):
I've actually been doing it for the past two months,
but I was actually able to accomplish something that I
hadn't been able to really do until now, which was well,
it's not I mean, it's a big deal, but it's
not ten minutes on the stair supper without stopping.
Speaker 2 (06:43):
Well good, that's huge. See that's huge baby steps?
Speaker 3 (06:47):
Ye right yeah yeah.
Speaker 2 (06:48):
All right.
Speaker 1 (06:49):
So now that you've accomplished that and you're sharing that
with all of Houston on this feel good Friday, what's
your next goal?
Speaker 2 (06:54):
Once you get it out there, you gotta do it.
Speaker 3 (06:57):
My next goal is I'm going to bump it up
to fifteen minutes.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
All right, that's how it. That is excellent. That's amazing,
really loud of you. Doesn't it make you just feel
so confident?
Speaker 3 (07:09):
It really does. I've already seen or at least felt
a little bit of a change in my body and
mentally especially.
Speaker 2 (07:15):
And that's heat for me.
Speaker 1 (07:16):
You know, even if I don't see much change in
my body mentally, I'm.
Speaker 2 (07:20):
Feeling good big enough myself.
Speaker 1 (07:24):
I jump rope every morning, Stephanie, but I've stopped doing
it for a while just because I was like, I
just don't want to. And then this morning I messed
up after twenty jumps, and then I said I'm gonna
start all over. I managed to knock out three hundred
jumps on my jump rope without without messing up, and
I was just like, I felt so energized after that.
Speaker 3 (07:43):
You know, yeah, it's amazing. It is awesome feeling to
especially know that you accomplish it.
Speaker 2 (07:48):
Exactly, it going.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
No one else did it for you, You do by yourself. Stephanie,
great news. Thanks so much for Sharon. We're glad that
you listen to Sonny. Thank you
