I absolutely love podcast When I domy walking, I'm listening to podcasts.
I've got two new podcasts on theDana Tyson podcast, one featuring Linda Nelson
who entered the workforce at fifty whenher husband became disabled. Now she's working
with breast cancer. And then there'sBrian Ross from Ross's Italian Restaurant in Brenham.

(00:26):
This guy asked the lady if ifhe could have her restaurant and she
was like, absolutely, one hundredpercent No. How did he end up
with it? Great podcasts of peoplewho delight the community. But there's another
podcast that I really like. You'llneed to check it out. It's called
Galveston Unscripted. It's by J.R. Shaw, who was born and

(00:47):
raised in Galveston. He knows everythingabout Galveston and he's turning Galveston into a
free museum one podcast at a time. He's got incredible knowledge and he interviewed
island history experts. He teaches ushow it became a shipping powerhouse, and
honestly, for those of you whoare homeschooling, this is really an interesting

(01:10):
podcast to check out once again. It's called Dalaviston Unscripted, another great podcast
to add to your podcast repertoire Verycool Yes producer Anthony Day. This rain
and cooler weather has us all friskyright now, so we wanted to get
you hype fumming very soon. Atour Houston Zoo. It's Zoo Boo,

(01:32):
one of Zoo's most popular events everyyear. It's the Zoo's fall slash Halloween
event that kicks off at the endof this month. Costumes are encouraged.
There's a pumpkin lantern, tunnel, pumpkin carvings, a scary go round,
and photo ops all over the place. And because of its success last year,
they're bringing back Zoo Boo after hours. So what's that mean? Every
Friday in October, the zoo staysopen until eight thirty in the evening so

(01:56):
guests of all ages can enjoy thefestivities out at night when it's even more
comfortable outside. It's been a hitevery year, so if you'd like to
go this year, or maybe justcheck out and see what they have going
on, go to Houston Zoo dotorg. And remember this is just the
beginning, because wait until we getcloser to Christmas, it's going to be
even better. I love what theydo. They put so much love and
passion in as because think about it, they're so caring to the animals.

(02:21):
