a scene. He now passes that flag via motorcycle to La.

Dan a follow up on our local Breakdan star Jeffrey
Lewis aka Jeff Row. He competed at the twenty twenty
four Paris Olympics. Yeah, he wants two of his three
preliminary battles to move into the eight person quarterfileund this
past Saturday. In the Breaking Cipher on Saturday afternoon, Lewis
displayed a combination of musicality movement, telling stories with his
body working with the music, while also pulling off some
(03:09):
really amazing skills like a show stopping slide against this
record scratch plus. Unlike his opponents, Lewis had his eyes
fixed on his competitors while dancing, showing literally all the confidence. Sadly, though,
Jeffro did narrowly lose his quarterfinal battle to Danny Dan
of France and Dan, I mean narrowly fourteen to thirteen.
But we're so proud of h Town's own Jeffrey, Jeffrey Lewis,
(03:31):
Jeffrow And with this being a newsports the Olympics, stain,
I don't think we've seen the last of Jeffro.
Speaker 1 (03:35):
Absolutely, that's so cool. He'll be here in twenty twenty
eight in La for sure.
Speaker 2 (03:40):
Wait.
Speaker 1 (03:41):
And then Justin Verlander played with the Space Cowboys and
he's doing really well. It was part of his rehab
he played Saturday. He's been out with a neck injury.
He says he feels good. He'll probably have to play
with the Space Cowboys one more time before he heads
back to the majors. We will be sure to let
you know, especially if you missed the go around on SAT.
(04:03):
So cool, How cool for him to be out of
Constellation Field right, Yeah, such a great location. And we

about the first day of school. How do you prepare yourself?
Do you have memories? We would love to hear from you.
We've got Jennifer, a teacher in Channel View. Now, is
this your first day back to school? Actually we went
back on Thursday, last Thursday, so this is our first.
Speaker 2 (04:40):
Full week back.
Speaker 1 (04:41):
All right, what was your first of all? What age
are you teaching? I teach K through five students who
struggle with behavior.
Speaker 2 (04:48):
Oh, behavior regulation.
Speaker 1 (04:50):
Jennifer, God bless you. What was your first day of school?
Like last week, it was a bit hectic, you know,
kids coming back from you know, the summer and having
to wake up on time and all of that stuff.
So there was a lot of running. Like I said,
teach behavior. So, Jennifer, how did you prepare yourself for
(05:12):
back to school? Really? Well, it's kind of rip the
band aid off sometimes just jump in, you can jump in.
I mean, I missed my student, so of course I was.
I stay with the students as they you know, go
to the next grade until they're out of fifth So
of course I miss them, so it was really just uh,
(05:33):
it was hectic, but it was still good to see
their faces. See, my daughter in law is a teacher
with the special needs kids, and uh, she feels exactly
the same. You guys have a calling. And at church
yesterday before we even began, we prayed for you teachers,
So just know that you're being paid you. Okay, absolutely,
thank you. We can use all prayers every day for
(05:58):
you and have a great school year. And so glad
you listened. Thank you, Thank you y'all too.
Speaker 2 (06:02):
Let's sit up to the woodlands and speak with another teacher. Elisa,
is today your first day back?
Speaker 1 (06:07):
It's not a kid's come back Wednesday for one more day?
Oh all right? So now what what age do you teach?
Speaker 2 (06:14):
I teach mostly elementary.
Speaker 1 (06:16):
How do you prepare yourself for the first day of school? Mentally? Like,
what do you do? Part of it I think is
organization and part of it is praying and spot do
you did you get it? Yourself? A cute outfit so
at least you can be in your happy place. Yeah,
that's always important, right, Yeah, we were. I was telling
(06:37):
Anthony and some of our listeners about praying for you
teachers at church yesterday and I said to my husband,
look at how cute every single teacher has the cutest
little dress on. And I swear it's like retail therapy,
just to get you back to school, back in the
zone so you can deal with what life is going
to hand you this year. Right, that's right, that is
(06:57):
excellent LISTA. Well, we hope you have an excellent yeah,
and just know that you're being prayed for big time. Awesome.
Thank you so much. All right, you take care and
thank you for all you do.
