As the motom line, I'm here a post Jeff Lewis
of Asset Growth Associates along with gene Vallerani. Thanks for
sharing part of your weekend with us. Before we get
straight to our top line story. On Friday, President Trump
was scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin at
a summit in Alaska to discuss a cease fire to
(02:36):
the Ukraine War. However, this meeting was still in progress
at the time that this show is recording, so we
will be covering the summit on next week's show. So
in the meantime, our top line story this week is
the federal takeover of our nation's capital.
Speaker 1 (02:50):
In Orner.
Speaker 7 (02:54):
Continuingly.
Speaker 6 (03:18):
Okay, so it's just d C, but according to Democrats,
that won't stop President Darth Trump. They say he's trying
a massive power graph, basically trying to bring all US
cities under a military rule, all under the pretense of
a crime problem that Democrats say just doesn't exist. Listen
to some of their responses.
Speaker 8 (03:39):
The way I've heard DC being described this morning is
like it's a city under siege, Like it's a dangerous place,
clutching your pearlge you got to keep your bag under
your dress when you leave the house. And that's that's
just not true. Nocking way, we'll go.
Speaker 9 (03:54):
We'll fight him tooth and nail.
Speaker 10 (03:56):
When crime is, crime is up, no crime is down.
Things cost less, no things cost more. I mean, this
goes on and on, and I think he feels as
if he has the authority to impose his will.
Speaker 11 (04:10):
Completely unappropriate a political stunt, and that was not needed.
And I believed then and I believe now that Los
Angeles was a test case, and I think DC is
a test case as well for the President to say, well,
we can take over your city whenever we want, and
I'm the commander in chief, and I can use the
troops whenever we want.
Speaker 12 (04:29):
And he's also trying to send a signal to other cities.
You saw what happened in Los Angeles with calling in
the National Guard there. This is something he wants to do,
and he's trying to send a signal to cities like Chicago,
one of the cities he called out also Baltimore, and
wants them to be afraid.
Speaker 13 (04:49):
I think if people are afraid to come to DC,
go to Disney World, get fat, eat French fries. I
don't care. I've lived here thirty seven years. I am
not afraid. I live in the city I'm not afraid of.
If you're afraid, go ahead, leave your fear someplace else.
Speaker 6 (05:04):
That's right, people, there's nothing to see here. Don't listen
to that fearmonger. President of ours. After all, fear is
the path to the dark side.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Fear leads to anger, Anger leads to hate, Hate leads
to suffering.
Speaker 6 (05:24):
Yes, much fear of the you werdermen spreads. Okay, my
young padawans, listen up. The truth is the homicide rate
is down in DC since twenty twenty three from its
highest level this century. The media is desperate to hide
the facts here, which is why you're hearing all this
cherry pick data to make it sound like Trump is
(05:45):
overreacting to a mere perception that DC has a crime problem.
Great Gutfeld had this to say about it on the five. Yeah,
this is why the media is evil.
Speaker 14 (05:57):
Okay, if you know the truth and you don't like it,
then maybe just stay out of it, just don't say anything.
But instead they know the truth and they lie because
they find that their status. They're more terrified of losing
their status than losing their lives.
Speaker 6 (06:16):
But see, if you listen closely enough, you'll hear the
media let the truth slip out. Here's ABC News anchor
Kira Phillips on air talking about her own personal experiences
in downtown d C. And she paints a very different
first hand story.
Speaker 15 (06:32):
We've been talking so much about the numbers, and yeah,
usually that's how you played Devil's advocate, as you talk about, oh, well,
stat's say crime is down. However, I can tell you
firsthand here in downtown DC where we work, right here
around our bureau. Just in the past six months, you know,
there were two people shot. One person died literally two
blocks down here from the bureau. It was within the
(06:54):
last two years that I actually was jumped walking just
two blocks down from here, and then just this morning,
one of my coworkers said her car was stolen a
block away from the bureau. So we can talk about
the numbers going down, but crime is happening every single
day because we're all experiencing it firsthand while working and
(07:17):
living down here.
Speaker 6 (07:18):
Auch. Well, there goes that narrative. It's one thing when
it happens to ordinary people that when it's happening two reporters, well,
don't expect them to keep their mouth shut. What's more,
the police Union is accusing the department of deliberately falsifying
the data to make crime look less prevalent on paper
than it really is. Check this out.
Speaker 9 (07:40):
When our members respond to the scene of a felony
offense where there was a victim reporting that a felony occurred,
inevitably there will be a lieutenant or a captain that
will show up on that scene and direct those members
to take a report for a lesser offense. So instead
of taking a report for a shooting or a stabbing
or a carjacking, they will order that officer to take
(08:02):
a report for a theft or an injured person to
the hospital or a felony assault, which is not the
same type of classification.
Speaker 6 (08:10):
As it turns out, a police commander was suspended back
in May for changing the crime statistics in this district,
and it's being done systematically and in ways not to
even be believable. The chief at the Police Union, Greg Pemberton,
explains further.
Speaker 9 (08:26):
I think there is a potentially a drop from where
we were in twenty twenty three. I think that there's
a possibility that crime has come down. But the department
is reporting that in twenty twenty four crime went down
thirty five percent violent crime, and then again another twenty
five percent through August of this year. That is preposterous
to suggest that cumulatively we've seen, you know, sixty plus
(08:50):
percent drops in violent crime from where we were in
twenty three. Because we're out on the street, we know
the calls we're responding to.
Speaker 6 (08:57):
It's one thing to lie, but these are stupid lies
and need to be called out for what they are.
That's why Janeine Piro, now the US Attorney for DC,
responded the way she did to a reporter that dare
tell her that crime has dropped.
Speaker 16 (09:12):
You tell these families crime has dropped. You tell the
mother of the intern who was shot going out for
McDonald's near the Washington Convention Center. Oh, crime is down.
You tell the kid who has just beat the hell
and back with a severe concussion and a broken nose,
crime is down. No, that falls on deaf ears. And
(09:33):
my ears are deaf to that. And that's why I
fight the fight.
Speaker 6 (09:38):
And that's what President Trump is doing. He's fighting the
fight because the Democrats don't want to unless they're busy
fighting Republicans. When we come back, we'll explore some of
the ways that Democrats are being nothing more than an
obstructionist party. We'll be right back. Stay with us.
Speaker 2 (09:57):
We're just trying to turn a neckel into God. That's
the bottom line.

Speaker 2 (13:46):
We're just trying to turn an akel in to what
time that's the bottom line.
Speaker 6 (13:57):
Be. Now we're back with that's the bottom line. I'm
(14:24):
Jeff Lewis. Last segment, we talked at length about the
Democratic response to Trump's decision to crack down on crime
in our nation's capital. It's the latest example in the
long list of issues in which the liberal wing of
the party has chosen to isolate itself from mainstream America.
It seems they've become infatuated with taking the minority position
(14:46):
on every eighty twenty issue there is. Crime is one
of the more obvious of these, but there's many others.
Longtime liberal pundent Chris Matthews made this observation to Mika
Brazinski on MSNBC's Morning.
Speaker 17 (15:00):
Joe and the Murder Rate. You can't keep saying violent
crime is down. With the murder rates up to the
average person. The murder ups about life and death. You
don't brag about a rising murder rate, and the Democrats
are I agree with you, Migan, They're falling into the
trap of defending what's indefensible.
Speaker 6 (15:17):
It's a trap and Trump's setting them right up for it.
And the problem for Democrats is is not just crime.
They're out of touch on nearly every issue, whether it's
men and ladies' restrooms or securing the border, or if
it's a stupid idea to have government run grocery stores.
The Democratic Party lacks vision, and it lacks a leader.
(15:38):
In fact, it's in the middle of its very own
civil war, and it's unclear which faction will prevail. There's
a liberal, left of center establishment faction that's controlled the
party for decades, but it's being directly challenged by a
younger progressive and I would argue extreme faction that embraces
socialistic policies. But even the more sale interest Democrats can
(16:01):
I use that term very loosely, that remain within the
party or being forced to embrace socialism in order to
appeal to their more extreme base. And until either the
progressive or the establishment wing emerges as the dominant faction
within the party, the Democrats will continue leaderless, but will
drift further left on policy, regardless of the outcome, the
(16:25):
socialists or the tail wagging the donkey, so to speak,
and right now there's no one strong enough politically to
put an end to it. To illustrate the problem, listen
to this clip of a conversation Sean Hennity had on
his show this week with Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana.
Speaker 18 (16:42):
Chucky Schumer, Hawkim Jeffries. They are quote minority leaders in
name only.
Speaker 2 (16:48):
They'll never stand up to that wing, will they?
Speaker 19 (16:51):
No, they could, And I don't mean any disrespect. I
don't know mister Jeffries that well. I know Senator Schelmbervere well,
So I say this with respect. Chuck and Hakim need
to go to Amazon, buy some testicles, and stand up
to the moon wind of their party. And until they're
(17:13):
willing to do that, I haven't heard some of your
schumers say anything bad about Mondani. I mean, the guy's
like socialists.
Speaker 2 (17:23):
He won't they won't.
Speaker 6 (17:25):
You see the problem is that Chuck Schumer, who nominally
leads to Senate Democrats, is scared to death of a
primary challenge when his seat comes up in twenty twenty eight. Obviously,
he's really worried about AOC flanking him on the left, though,
as I've said before, I think AOC will be too
busy running for president in twenty twenty eight to be
(17:46):
very concerned about challenging Schumer. But there could be others,
possibly even Mandanni should he win to New York mayor's
race this fall. So Schumer is trading very carefully and
has very little leverage within his own party right now.
The King Jeffries, is also in a compromising position, but
for a different reason. He wants to be Speaker at
(18:08):
the House and he thinks he's got a great shot
at winning the job next fall. But to get there,
it's not just a matter of the Democrats taking control.
He's got to keep support of his caucus through the
leadership votes after the new House convenes in January of
twenty seven. Because of the Democrats win control, it's possible
they may select a more charismatic leader than him. There's
(18:31):
nothing to stop Democrats from selecting one of the ladies
from the squad, or even AOC herself. She can be
Speaker and run for president too, and fact it might
boost her campaign. Or you could even see someone like
Jasmine Crockett get the nod, you know, assuming she'll still
have a seat by the time we're done redishricting. Point is,
Jeffries has very little control over his own caucus, So
(18:54):
the Democrats will continue to allow themselves to flail around
on every issue because there's simply no one out there
to hold them steady and maintain discipline within the ranks.
That's one reason that the Texas redistricting bit is turning
out to be such an incredible boon for the Republican
Party nationwide because Democrats can't help but open their mouths.
(19:18):
Take one to be senators slash governor's slash President Veto
or Rourke here remember him. He's calling for Democrats to
redistrict every blue state now, regardless of what happens in Texas.
Speaker 3 (19:31):
Listen, you may say to yourself, well, those aren't the rules.
Speaker 11 (19:35):
There are no reps in this game the rules.
Speaker 4 (19:38):
We are going to win. Whatever it takes.
Speaker 11 (19:40):
We're gonna take this to them in every way that
we can.
Speaker 6 (19:44):
You see all this talk by the Democrats about the
rule of law, that's just the smoke screen for the
blatant power they would exercise in the blink of an eye.
If returned to the majority. Here's James Carville talking about
Democratic plans to expand both the Senate and the Supreme Court,
stacking them in their favor.
Speaker 18 (20:03):
They are just going to have to, you knowledly add
Puerto Rican industry of Columbia states. They're going to have
to The Congress does give the Constitution gives Congress power
over federal elections. I don't think they can read district.
But the things they're gonna do, they're going to have
to do it. They're just going to have to do it.
And they may have to expand the court to thirteen members.
(20:27):
Any of those things in isolation, I would be skeptical about.
I would be cautious about. I would say, well, I
don't know if that's the greatest idea in the world.
You're opening Pandora's box all kinds of things. I don't
If you want to save democracy, I think you've got
to do all of those things.
Speaker 6 (20:45):
I mean, think about what he's advocating. He believes the
Congress should somehow circumvent Article four at the Constitution and
in his words, you will latterly add Puerto Rico and
DC to the Union. How he would do that, I
have no earthly idea, but this is the thought process
on the left. By doing this, the Democrats would gain
(21:07):
effectively four Senate seats plus get three more electoral votes
in the next presidential election, as both DC and Puerto
Rico are heavily democratic in their politics, which is the
whole reason that Democrats want this happened in the first place.
Carville also proposes packing the Supreme Court by appointing four
new liberal justices to the bench to offset the six
(21:29):
to three conservative majority there. FDR attempted this in nineteen
thirty seven, but was rejected by the Senate Judiciary Committee,
which stated in its report quote that its parallel will
never again be presented to the free people of America.
Let's pray these socialist policies meet the same fate. Now
(21:49):
when we come back, Genie Valorandi will be here talking
about his perspective on Trump's takeover of DC. Don't even
think about changing that dial. We'll be right back where.
Speaker 2 (21:59):
Josh trying to turn a neckel into a die. That's
the bottom line. We're just trying to turn a nekeel
into a dive. That's the bottom line.
Speaker 7 (22:15):
Welcome back. This is Gene Valerani with today's dirty little secret. Washington,
d C. Has turned into a lawless city, a place
that has raised the ire of President Trump, who recently
revealed he plans to restore law and order in the
nation's capital city. For starters, he ordered the National Guardsman
(22:39):
to begin policing the nation's capital, and of course, that
means Washington, d C. Has turned itself into a sickening
cessful of crime. President Trump is part of his re
election promises, says he will begin taking on the high
crime rate which turned d C to the lawless bad
(23:01):
lands that they have now become. I guess so to
speak right the city where carjackings, robberies, vandalism, and many
other crimes have become the way of life, including murder.
Many of the crimes being carried out in DC are
being carried out by juveniles, of which the President has
(23:21):
indicated he will have underage scoff laws still in their
teens face prosecution as adults. From all indications, Trump is
going to end lawless activity in the nation's capital, one
might ask how Democrats will respond, that is, if they
ever returned from their hiding places where they are today. Well, anyhow,
(23:49):
they'll come back eventually. But any of the point I'm
trying to make is there are a bunch of troublemakers
now right. Trump's vision to clean up Washington, d C
has long been on his to do list, as is
how he continues to find arrest in the portial legals
back to their own country of origin. The task isn't
(24:10):
going to be an easy one, and so once Trump
begins sending in National Guard troops to help fight crime,
we can expect an army of Democrat judges and lawsuits
to try and keep him from doing it. So I
guess they prefer mob rule. I don't know, Ladies and gentlemen,
(24:31):
Democrat judges are going to rush in and attempt to
prevent Trump from cleaning up Washington DC. Face it, Today's
Democrat Party is no longer the working man's party as
it was during decades past. The more I think of it,
the more I realize today's modern Democrats have abandoned their
(24:53):
once faithful followers, people who work for living rather than
seek a life crime. But as anyone can see, this
is what's happening, and it isn't far fetched. It isn't
far fetched to see the metamorphosis of the modern day
Democrat Party abandoning freedom and justice and seeking a lawless
(25:16):
future for American cities. And the best example I can
give is how so many incoming illegals are coming here
to destroy and pillage. You know, when we had the
waves of immigration in the past, those people came here
to work in the factories and they became Americans. Well,
(25:36):
that doesn't seem to be the case right now. This
chapter in the life of America seeks to destroy you
and your family's future, and they have the runaway Democrats
as their model to bring down the United States. And
this is why the Trump administration is working so hard,
(25:57):
why the Trump administration is working so hard to try
and get things back to normal. Now. No one can
see the future, but I don't think any of us
want to live in a communist nation where freedom and
justice no longer occurs. But anyhow, that's the road we're
(26:17):
going in today in America. We have subversive individuals seeking
to end our way of life with freedom and justice
for all, and really and truly, that is the bottom line.
America was once referred to as a melting pot, a
place where people could flock to, not come here for
(26:38):
welfare or criminal activity, but rather a place where opportunity
was the way of life, a place where someone who
was born poor and through hard work and education could
still achieve much more than what could be expected. So
we're seeing a modern renaissance of the United States because
(26:58):
of the leadership of President Trump, and I really think
we should support the effort it takes to accomplish a
bitter future for ourselves and for our posterity. When I
say posterity, I'm talking about your children, your grandchildren, and
the future that lies ahead. So this is the next
(27:20):
thing that he's trying to do. That was one of
his campaign promises. He wanted to clean up Washington, d C. Well,
you know, no one can see the future, but we
all know when we see dark clouds to grub grab
an umbrella. And today in America we have subversive individuals
seeking to end our way of life. And that is
(27:44):
not a complex statement to make because that is what
is occurring. And what we have is we have elected
officials in the Democrat Party that are actually working against
the US Constitution and the Bill of Rights. They want
to get these illegals in here, they want to give
them the right to vote and to and if they
(28:08):
could get enough of them in here and they all
start voting, then what happens to the American people. You
won't have a choice anymore. They will have come in,
invaded this country and taken it over. Now, I'm not
against immigration, neither's President Trump. When people come here there
we expect them to come here and to accept our
(28:29):
way of life. That's what it's all about, and that's
why we have to be careful as to who we're
letting in because it's been a mess so far. And
I'm sure all of you agree with me. It's just
been a mess. So anyhow, that's today's dirty little secret,
(28:49):
and I want you to pay attention. We'll be back
with more in just a few moments. Don't go away.

difference in them and just going straight into the stock
(33:12):
market is that when the stock market is tumbling down,
the money stays put in these accounts, and that also
means that whenever the market starts to recover and go forward,
there's no catching up to do. So I want you,
I want you to know that this type of an
(33:33):
invest in program is certainly available now. To do this,
we use we use insured products that gather and gains
without exposing those gains to shrinkage or losses caused by
(33:54):
a market meltdown. And you know they're going to happen
time and time again. The plans that I'm talking about
accumulate over time. They are available for withdrawals, do to
help you build your an estache, and you can just
(34:15):
take your money back when you're retired, either for retirement income,
to enjoy life, to have an estach, for your family
to pass on all the things that you do. When
you have a little bit of money that you've accumulated,
you know, you accumulate some of your earnings, it prevent
shrinkage and definitely prevents market downturns. Listen to me. I've
(34:40):
been doing this for decades now, and I can tell
you when you at least expected Wallstreet to have a crash,
and there's no two ways about it. But as long
as we have if you have your money and a
principal protection account, when the market goes down, stay put.
(35:01):
Now listen to me. There's no perfect plane. But if
you want to accumulate money for future use or allow
your four to oh one K money or IR money
