Speaker 2 (01:40):
We're just trying to turn an ecchol into a dime.

Speaker 3 (01:44):
That's the bottom line.

Speaker 4 (01:52):
Welcome to real, honest talk about money, politics, news and
information you can actually use and hold on type this is.
That's the bottom line.

Speaker 2 (02:08):
The best thing they live. But you can give them
to the bed and be.

Speaker 5 (02:26):
Good morning everybody.

Speaker 6 (02:27):
This is that's the bottom line.

Speaker 5 (02:29):
I'm your host, Jeff Lewis of Asset Growth Associates along
with Jane Vallerini. Thanks for tuning in at the end
of what has been a horrible, gut wrenching week.

Speaker 7 (02:40):
This is going to be.

Speaker 5 (02:41):
The hardest show I've had to do yet. Last week
we talked about the far less obsession with what I
call their death porn fetish. We even made a mockery
of it, of sorts, it's not funny anymore. Wednesday afternoon,
America lost one of its most gifted orators and political
thinkers that God has ever seen fit to bless this country.

(03:02):
With Charlie Kirk was the greatest ambassador for our cause,
and by that I don't mean just the conservative movement,
but for the advancement of the Kingdom of Jesus Christ,
literally the greatest of his generation. You don't simply replace
a man like Charlie Kirk, especially not for his two

(03:22):
young children and his wife, Erica, but for all of
us who love America. So if you're expecting a lot
of flowery rhetoric and positive comments today, like some kind
of message of hope, I'm sorry, but I'm probably gonna
disappoint you.

Speaker 6 (03:37):
This hurts a lot.

Speaker 5 (03:39):
It feels like a gut punch beyond the pain of loss.
I'm angry. Yeah, we all need to come together so
this doesn't escalate. We need to move past and hell YadA, YadA, YadA.
I know that's what we need to do, but right
now that's not what I feel like doing. For months now,
we've sat back quietly while radical leftist act like it's

(04:00):
open season on Conservatives. We suffered not through one, but
two failed assassination attempts on then candidate and now our
President Trump. We've seen attacks on Supreme Court justices, threats
against both Jews and Christians, remember the young Jewish couple
murder Back in May. Last month, a Ukrainian refugee, a

(04:21):
beautiful young woman, was stabbed to death on the train
by a man who can be heard saying I got
that white girl.

Speaker 7 (04:29):
And now one of the most iconic.

Speaker 5 (04:31):
Political influences of this entire century is murdered for simply
being the best at what he did, absolutely destroying the
weak arguments of the left. All Charlie Kirk did was
sit back, ask questions and make people reason out their beliefs.
So yeah, telling us that we conservatives need to dial

(04:54):
back the tone when we're being labeled as Nazis and
existential threats to our country the polarizing side, I don't
think so. Jesse Waters articulates this point exactly.

Speaker 8 (05:06):
So when he goes out to these college campuses, he's
not provoking anybody. He's like Socrates. He asks questions and he.

Speaker 6 (05:14):
Does it with a smile.

Speaker 8 (05:16):
And there's nothing controversial about saying socialism is worse than capitalism.
Men and women are different. Let's put America first, because
that's all he was about, putting America first. And as
Greg said, this hits differently because Charlie was one of
us and Trump gets hit in the ear, Charlie gets

(05:39):
shot dead. They came after Kavanaugh with a rifle to
his neighborhood. They went after Musk's cars. They just shot
two Jews outside the embassy. Think about it. Scalice got shot,
barely survived. It's happening. We've got transhooters, you got riots
and la They are at war with us. Whether we

(06:03):
want to accept it or not, they are at war
with us. What are we gonna do about it? How
much political violence are we going to tolerate?

Speaker 5 (06:11):
It may be a rhetorical question, but the answer itself
is going to be problematic. It's like someone is trying
to foment insurrection within this country, and at this rate
they're going to succeed. Carl Cannon and Tom Bevin discussed
this threat on the RCP podcast.

Speaker 2 (06:28):
You know, if we don't stop this soon, we're gonna
look back on this period and think we the.

Speaker 9 (06:32):
We were at the beginning of a low grade civil war.

Speaker 10 (06:34):
This is really a dangerous development. Can I just say,
I mean, you know, because the Democrats are all it's
all like we gotta fight, we gotta fight, we gotta fight,
And they're constantly Gavin Newsom is the one.

Speaker 6 (06:43):
You know, he's just he just dropped the F bomb.

Speaker 10 (06:45):
He's this FAFO rally he's doing, and all the Democrats
like their Rhetorica's like we gotta fight, fight, fight, And
then suddenly it's like, well, because let's be honest. The
political violence of this country comes primarily from the left.
You mentioned two assassinations attempts on Donald Trump, you know,
Steve Scalise getting shot. I mean, we have to be
honest about it, and we have to hold these people
accountable for their rhetoric.

Speaker 5 (07:06):
It's the left that's inflaming all of this violence and
then pretending to be victimized. Remember how just a smalltt
live about being attacked by Trump supporters when it never
even happened. A liberal judge let him walk for that.

Speaker 7 (07:20):
By the way, but this.

Speaker 5 (07:22):
Is the worst political assassination since RFK and MLK were
both killed in nineteen sixty eight. And this is the
sort of thing that ends the democratic process. As Ben
Shapiro points out here, you can't have a country this
way that is normal norm It's a political assassination. It's
not just a murder, it's a political assassination. It's where's

(07:43):
political assassination in half century in this country?

Speaker 7 (07:46):
It really is.

Speaker 11 (07:46):
I mean there have been assassination at times on presidents. Obviously,
Ron Reagan was shot, There's an attempted assassination of Donald Trump.
Of them lived the actual full scale murder of a
thirty one year old super star like Charlie Future Broth
for the for the great crime of saying things on
college campuses that people didn't want to hear find. Nobody
should believe that in a free republic, the foundations of

(08:09):
the Republican I don't really believe. I'm Zadary when I
say this shakes the foundations of the country because we cannot,
if we cannot trust each other to have normal conversations
in public about basic issues of governance and policy and values.
How the hell are we supposed to have a country together. Hell,
it's not possible, But that's exactly where we are. A
shouting match erupted on the House four Wednesday afternoon when

(08:31):
Democrats shouted down a requist for prayer for the Kirk family. Meanwhile,
Democratic presidential hopeful Governor Pritzker of Illinois claimed all of
this on Trump and the j six riots.

Speaker 6 (08:41):
It's got to stop.

Speaker 12 (08:42):
And I think there are people who are fomenting it
in this country. I think the president's rhetoric often foments it.
We've seen the January sixth rioters, who clearly, you know,
have tripped a new era of political violence.

Speaker 5 (09:01):
Then there's the media.

Speaker 8 (09:03):
Charlie Kirk is a divisive figure on polarizing, lightning rob
whatever term you want to use.

Speaker 5 (09:08):
Liberal media networks like MSNBC can't even help but try
to tarnish the guy even in death. Oh Heaven forbid
you do you say something about nice about the guy
through he's been shot in the neck. Check out Matthew
Dowd here on NBC. He got fired for this.

Speaker 13 (09:23):
We don't know if this was a supporter shooting their
gun off in celebration or so. We have no idea
about this. But following up what was just said, he's
been one of the most divisive, especially divisive younger figures
in this who is constantly sort of pushing this sort
of hate speech or sort of aimed at certain groups.
And I always go back to hateful thoughts lead to

(09:46):
hateful words, which then lead to hateful actions.

Speaker 5 (09:50):
Doud was a Democratic candidate for Lieutenant governor here in
Texas four years ago. But yeah, it's our rhetoric to blame,
and you'll never hear the Texas Democratic Party counter him.

Speaker 7 (10:00):
Will you back in a minute.

Speaker 14 (10:01):
We're just trying to turn ankel into a dial. That's
the bottom line.

Speaker 2 (13:42):
We're just to turn an ecklent to what time.

Speaker 16 (13:46):
That's the bottom line.

Speaker 5 (14:20):
We're back with. That's the bottom line. I'm Jeff Lewis.
I wanted to take some time to remember the work
and legacy of Charlie Kirk, who he was, what he believed.
In a glimpse into the career and life that was
so tripally cut short.

Speaker 6 (14:35):
I'm just flesh and bone, but more importantly, I'm a soul,
and that soul is accountable to one being. I mean,
I've had an unbelievably blessed life. Uh been doing this
now it will be twelve years on.

Speaker 7 (14:46):
June Fish such a young man to do it.

Speaker 6 (14:48):
Yeah, so praise God. I mean, I've been all across
the world. I've met with world leaders, a flown in
Air Force, one, got to know a president. I have
an amazing family. The podcast turning point, you will say,
is all that stuff, and so you you experienced that,
and you're like, what actually matters. What matters is your
relationship with the divine, your relationship with your family, your kids,
and maybe a close collection of friends, and your relationship

(15:09):
with the truth.

Speaker 5 (15:10):
When it came to friends, Charlie was one of those
people that just makes them anywhere they go. It didn't
matter if you were a political ally or a rival.
He had an impact on any when he met. Here's
Chris Cuomo on News nation, who is a completely opposite
political persuasion, explaining to his liberal audience what we lost.

Speaker 17 (15:29):
There is no advantage in this, and I know some
want there to be. I know some want this to
be proof of something that they think is.

Speaker 15 (15:40):
Helpful to their cause.

Speaker 17 (15:41):
But to me, all I see is a kid. And
to me, for all Charlie achieved personally and professionally, he
was only thirty one years old. He and his beautiful wife,
they were just starting a family. They have two little babies,
and that's all I think. That's all I see.

Speaker 5 (16:03):
That's the consensus of mainstream America right now, and we
can be glad for that. At least. It shouldn't matter
what your political affiliation is when it comes to matters
like this. Now. Obviously, Charlie Kirk was a conservative activist,
so his contacts were war within that circle. He became
particularly close with the Trump family during the last campaign,

(16:23):
and the President had this to say about him, and
it addressed to the nation Wednesday night.

Speaker 18 (16:28):
Charlie was a patriot who devoted his life to the
cause of open debate and the country that he loved
so much, the United States of America. He fought for
liberty democracy, justice, and the American people. He's a martyr
for truth and freedom, and there's never been anyone who
was so respected by youth. Charlie was also a man

(16:52):
of deep, deep faith, and we take comfort in the
knowledge that he is now at peace with God in heaven.

Speaker 7 (17:00):
Faith.

Speaker 5 (17:01):
That was the one word you simply couldn't not use
when describing Charlie Kirk. You could disagree with his politics
or his religious viewpoints, but he was clearly in love
with his savior, Jesus Christ and with God's word. This
carried out into all of his core beliefs. If anything,
he was consistent. Here's Charlie arguing with a student about

(17:24):
abortion this spring pop quiz.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
When does heartbeats begin for babies in utero?

Speaker 9 (17:29):
Have you ever eaten an egg before? That's yes or no?
Have you ever eaten an egg before?

Speaker 6 (17:37):
Uh? Scrambled?

Speaker 4 (17:38):
Yeah?

Speaker 9 (17:39):
Okay, so would that be you scrambled a full chicken?

Speaker 6 (17:43):
Well, hold on, you understand that it takes an egg
to be fertilized, right, uh huh yeah?

Speaker 15 (17:48):
Uh yeah.

Speaker 6 (17:50):
So, since we're doing pop quiz on like human development,
so when exactly do heart waves begin in utero?

Speaker 9 (18:00):
You know that, but you don't know the form.

Speaker 6 (18:03):
Tell me when hope. Okay, you don't know, so wait,
hold on. So you're trying to say I know more
about the woman reproductive system than you do. I am
a woman, so yes, yes, okay, Well, but the point
being is we could both go back and forth of
like independent trivial facts when it comes to the woman's
reproductive system. But here's something we all know, because God
wrote this on the human heart of every individual that

(18:25):
says in the Book of Romans. We know deep down
it's wrong to murder a baby.

Speaker 5 (18:29):
That's why he was so effective. He didn't belittle those
who debated him, even when they made clearly inferior arguments,
but used his ability to interject levity into the situation
to keep everyone off guard and upbeat, even when dealing
with somewhat crazy people.

Speaker 19 (18:46):
But do you love America?

Speaker 4 (18:48):
Yes? I do.

Speaker 6 (18:49):
I hate America.

Speaker 19 (18:51):
I every state in the USA should be an independent country.
What do you think of this?

Speaker 6 (19:06):
Well, I just first have to ask, since you hate
the country, do you plan to leave that? What do
you mean by that? Do you plan to go live
in another country?

Speaker 20 (19:13):
No?

Speaker 2 (19:14):
I do not.

Speaker 6 (19:17):
Let me tell you something. Your faith America is the
only country where even those who hate it refused to leave.
That's how you know you live in a great country.

Speaker 5 (19:26):
Charlie Kirk was unashamedly pro American. He loved his country.
He ultimately gave his life for it, not on some
far away battlefield, but right here at home, on the
battlefield of ideas.

Speaker 9 (19:39):
Do you view democracy as an American value? Is something
that's very important to the fabric of this country.

Speaker 6 (19:43):
No, where's democracy in the US Constitution?

Speaker 4 (19:45):
Oh?

Speaker 6 (19:45):
Okay, so are you hold on? Where is the word democracy?

Speaker 9 (19:48):
I don't think the word democracy is not.

Speaker 6 (19:50):
So where is the word democracy in any of the
founding fathers?

Speaker 9 (19:52):
A lot of the founding fathers had extremely elitist viewpoints
around who's hold Well?

Speaker 6 (19:57):
I just want to you said the word democracy, So
I want to get back to our roots. Yes, where
is democracy mentioned? I don't in the federalist papers, the constitution,
or the decalecy.

Speaker 9 (20:06):
I think it's good that this country has moved away
from things that were.

Speaker 6 (20:10):
Papers and it's mentioned negatively as a problem. So you
ask me, is democracy of fundamental American value? I say no,
because I go back to our roots, and do you
Hamilton Madison and jail.

Speaker 9 (20:21):
I know that Hamilton was anti democracy.

Speaker 6 (20:24):
People that people should I want to be clear, I am.
I am pro representative government, but I'm not pro democracy.
That's a big difference, and that distinction is important. But
you ask very specifically about democracy, which is not an
American value. It never has been and never should be,
because what is democracy. Democracy is majority rule, no matter
what that There's no provisions of checks and balances, no

(20:47):
inalienable rights, no separation of powers. Pure if the majority
gets it, the majority wants it as quickly as possible.

Speaker 5 (20:54):
He educated students about stuff like civics with far more
clarity than college professors, even if they didn't always appreciate
the lesson.

Speaker 7 (21:03):
Do you feel proud of yourself for debating college kids
who are unprepared to speak in front of an audience
like yourself?

Speaker 9 (21:13):
Hold on, hold on, hold on, you're thirty years old.

Speaker 5 (21:16):
We can agree.

Speaker 9 (21:16):
You're thirty years old, right. Do you think that's a
little bit silly?

Speaker 6 (21:21):
Are you a voter? I am a voter, al right,
So I vote and you vote. So I'm talking to
voters of this country that will determine the future of
Western civilization.

Speaker 15 (21:29):
That's what I'm doing.

Speaker 5 (21:30):
Here for that, But ultimately it all came back to this.

Speaker 10 (21:34):
How do you want to be remembered?

Speaker 6 (21:35):
If I die, everything just goes away.

Speaker 5 (21:38):
How would you if you could be associated with one thing,
how would you want to be remembered.

Speaker 6 (21:42):
I want to be I want to be remembered for
courage from my faith. That would be the most important thing.
Most important thing is my faith in my life.

Speaker 5 (21:49):
Thank you, Charlie Kirk. The world's going to miss you.
Back right after this.

Speaker 2 (21:55):
We're just trying to turn a neckel into a die.

Speaker 14 (21:59):
That's the bottom line. We're just trying to turn a
nickel into a dime. That's the bottom line.

Speaker 20 (22:11):
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen. You're listening to part two
of today's edition of That's the bottom line, and I
want you to know that it's signed for that part
of the show that we have referred to over the
years as the dirty Little Secret. This is Jeane Vallerini reporting.

(22:32):
Let's open this morning's report with a question, if you
don't mind, are big city democrats attempting to foster a
revolution against the United States? You know, it's a reasonable
question to ask when one sees the big city democrat
mayor's staging protests against law and order, and the case

(22:55):
in point of course is past week has been the
city of Chicago, which, like most big Democrat cities, has
overrun with crime. While local authorities seem to be fighting
tooth and nail to continue high crime waves. While local
authorities apparently are doing nothing or very little. It's pretty

(23:18):
simple for someone like me to put two and two together.
In the big city democrats prefer lawless communities instead of
law and order. Within their inner cities, law bodying citizenry
would welcome National Guard troops to patrol their neighborhoods, while

(23:41):
city politicians, well, they apparently do not. Isn't that what
we're getting from them? How can this be a winning
decision on the part of Illinois Governor Democrat JB. Pritzker
as well as the mayor of Chicago, Brandon Johnson. That's

(24:02):
a question you have to ask that a a Zeer
twist of logic, we find most big city mayors oppose
the federal protection for high crime rates or from high
crime rates. I should say one has to wonder what
self serving benefits these big city democrats really have up

(24:27):
their sleeves. Obviously, receiving federal help to stem crime indicates
they seem to prefer the high crime rates above the
safety of their inner city residents. Murders, shootouts in the streets, rapes,
robberies make these communities places where even angels fear to tread.

(24:51):
And President Trump the SAIDI National Guard troops into these
communities and having the criminals locked up while awaiting trial.
What manner of high stupidity makes big city Democrat mayors
continue to resist more law and order in their otherwise

(25:13):
lawless communities. That poor little girl in North Carolina, they
got stabbed and murdered from behind on a bus. These
are the things that are occurring in the United States
right now, Ladies and gentlemen, they're certainly out of order.
Other than Trump derangement syndrome, which seems to be the

(25:38):
poison that holds Democrats together, one would would seem the
help from the federal government to crush rising crime rates
is something most mayors would seek, but not so in
our crime driven cities. If indeed, big cities in the

(26:00):
United States have become the playgrounds for criminals who often
pay no bail when arrested, and they're back on the streets,
committing more crime within the hours of being arrested. President Trump,
of course, wants to end such lenient treatment when dealing

(26:22):
with these thuds. Yet elected democrats want things to remain
as they are. Does that make sense? What normal behavior
would it be if someone was breaking into your home
and threatening your family, but no help pay when you

(26:45):
called for help, or innocent people cannot dare to leave
their homes for fear of being robbed and murdered. This
one young man last week in Washington, d C. A
city already under federal protection, Well, he was murdered in

(27:05):
the park. This then, has to be the legacy of
democrat rule, where crime is tolerated for the sake of
providing more power to left wing democrats. So how many
times in your life have you gone to the movies,
let's say, and watched a corrupt city brought to law

(27:27):
and order by the good guys. Right, isn't what we
would expect to have happen. Well, as I speak to you,
we see too much crime in our big cities that
are run by Democrats, and they know what they're doing. Now,
whether the Democrats like it or not, our President Donald J.

(27:49):
Trump is trying to restore law and order in cities
where people feel safer after having would be robbers, thieves,
bad guys in general locked up and off the streets.
And of course the left wing news media will never
report it well because why won't they? Obviously they prefer

(28:13):
no law in order and what one would think going
after scofflaws. Another assorted criminals and felons would find more
support in the news media, But don't bet on it,
ladies and gentlemen. For the most part, the big media
has sold its soul to the dark side. Not all,

(28:36):
of course, but too many. And that's for sure. And
I tell you this morning on this week's report that
indeed that is the bottom line. We're going to be
back with much more right after these reports.

Speaker 15 (28:51):
They don't.

Speaker 14 (28:52):
We're just trying to turn Anickel into that's the bottom line.

Speaker 1 (28:58):

We're just trying to turn a nickel into a dime.

Speaker 3 (31:07):
That's the bottom line.

Speaker 20 (31:09):
Welcome back, ladies and gentlemen you're listening to that's the
bottom line. You're weekly broadcast on KLVII. That tells it
like it is. Let me say something this morning during
our solution segment. I want you to know that at
Asset Growth Associates, when we're not on the radio, we're

(31:34):
helping our clients prepare for the future by setting aside
money to grow over time, earning market link returns or
if they prefer, earning fixed interest rates.

Speaker 4 (31:51):
Now.

Speaker 20 (31:51):
The difference for our clients is they don't lose money
when the market is experiencing a down to now, please
listen to me. In a principal protection plan issued through
Asset Growth Associates, our clients lose nothing during a downturn.

(32:13):
On Wall Street values stay put but continue to increase,
while other investors are just trying to get caught up,
to get back to where they were before it all happened.
Sometimes it takes a while. For those in one of

(32:34):
our principal protection accounts. A down market has no effect
on the value of your account. You don't lose anything
now and the market's down. You may go flat, but
you're not going to go down and then have to
fight your way back up. And that's a key point,

(32:58):
and I hope I've made that clear. Our clients lose
absolutely nothing when the market starts back up. There's no
weight for our clients to catch up or get back
to even because nothing is ever lost to begin with. Plus,
these accounts are insured, which also offer more safety and growth.

(33:23):

on less money, that's hard too, right. It's a big lie,
and most of us know it. These siren songs being
sung by left wing democrats and socialists do not have
your welfare at heart. Ladies and gentlemen, believe them and
